KIM MINJEONG x FEM!READER
Prompt: Minjeong, your best friend (and secret crush), lied to her parents about having a girlfriend. You didn’t expect that YOU were the girlfriend. Let’s see how your heart plays out.
Warnings/Notes: loser nerd Minjeong, g!p Minjeong, eventual smut, best friends to lovers
A/N: more loser Minjeong because she’s so cute
Tumblr media
‘Sorry, will be a few mins late!’ Was Minjeong’s last text before you found yourself sitting alone in the Uni’s library for what was supposed to be exam prepping.
However the ‘few mins’ that Minjeong said ended up being almost half an hour and you were close to ditching the plan for a matcha latte, but the taller girl touched your shoulder which almost sent you into cardiac arrest.
“Jesus Jeongie! Don’t sneak up on my like that!”
“I’m sorry for making you wait! Something happened at home so I couldn’t just leave” she sighed and sat beside you.
She was wearing her oversized Minecraft shirt and baggy jeans. Complimented with her old and extremely dirty converses that you told her to throw away. Her short hair was tied into a mini ponytail and her adorable black glasses were taped together in the middle after she accidentally got hit with a basketball in the face.
Oh your adorable nerdy Jeongie :(
“Wanna talk about it?” You asked softly once seeing her stressed state.
She nodded cutely. Like a little puppy. But that thought went out the window when she rested her arm around the back of your chair, leaning closely so no one else would hear what she was gonna say.
Your stomach started to do flips from the close proximity. Her big eyes looked into yours desperately, like she was asking for help.
“Please don’t get mad, Y/n-ie”
“What’s wrong Jeongie?”
She sighed once more and looked away for a split second before meeting your eyes again. My God, she was so hot.
“I may or may not have told my parents that you were my girlfriend…”
That’s when you lost your voice. The air around you felt thick and there was only one way you were able to respond.
You punched her face.
Minjeong grunted and fell out of her seat from the sudden blow. She held her cheek and turned to you in shock. “What the hell Y/n!”
“Are you kidding me Minjeong? What the hell happened for you to lie like that!”
She stood up, still holding her pained cheek. “Both of my sisters got girlfriends leaving me stuck like some virgin loser with no life! What else was I supposed to do? My parents are on my tail and I couldn’t let them know that I’m still refusing to have some human interaction while playing with legos”
You threw a small tantrum. “So what, we just hold hands for the rest of our lives?”
“Look, I just want you to come for dinner tonight. Have some simple conversations with them and it’ll seal the deal. They won’t bother me anymore after”
She was making it harder for you to say no. You wanted her so bad as your girlfriend since you first met but not in the situation she has currently put you in. Letting go of her face, she walked up to you and gently rubbed your shoulders.
You looked up and felt the butterflies again. Why couldn’t the girlfriend thing just be real instead?
“Please Y/n-ie. I really need your help”
Well that was enough to convince you. Talk about being whipped.
“Alright Jeongie. But you owe me big time”
“Yes yes of course! Thank you!” She cutely celebrated and pulled you in for a tight hug.
“I’ll send you my parent’s address. Come at 7 okay? You can even sleep over my dorm afterwards”
“That sounds nice. I haven’t slept over your dorm in a while”
She shrugged. “We get too busy nowadays”
“Yeah we do. Do I have to dress nicely?”
Minjeong looked up to think for a moment before nodding. “Might as well. I’ll dress nice too”
“Alright. Let’s start studying”
You stood at the front door and rang the bell, quickly adjusting the short tight dress just in time for Minjeong to open the door to greet you.
You found yourself stuck in a trance as your best friend revealed herself in a black button up and slacks. The top 3 buttons were undone to reveal the chain necklace you gifted her ages ago.
Minjeong wasn’t wearing her glasses either and her short brown hair wasn’t tied in her usual ponytail. Her hair was free and looking so fluffy as she ran her fingers through it.
“Y/n welcome!” She gave that ever so handsome smile while hugging you.
Her perfume was stronger than usual, almost intoxicating you.
“Jeongie you look so…”
“Different? Yeah I know. It feels a bit weird” she giggled and looked at her own outfit.
“I was gonna say hot but yeah that works too”
Her lips parted adorably. “You think so?”
“Don’t get too happy now” you winked as she allowed you inside and to the kitchen where her parents and two sisters were seated at the table.
“Just go with the flow. It’ll be okay” she whispered in your ear before gently holding your hand. “Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Jang Y/n. Y/n, these are my parents and my two sisters Chaewon and Taeyeon”
You bowed and flashed a bright smile. “Pleasure to finally meet you all!”
“I didn’t think our little JeongJeong was able to pull such a pretty woman” Taeyeon smiled, making you instantly blush.
You felt Minjeong’s hand tighten around yours and you noticed her jaw clenching. Chaewon picked up on it aswell and began laughing.
“Oh relax Minjeong, no one’s planning to steal your girl. Tone down the jealousy”
“I’m not jealous. Come on Y/n, take a seat” she said and pulled the chair out for you to sit on.
She took her own seat afterwards and returned to holding your hand again. “Also guys, please don’t overwhelm my girlfriend with too many questions okay? I’m sure she’s tired already from her uni lectures today”
“Oh you study Y/n?” Her Dad asked with crossed arms as if he was studying you.
“Yes sir, I’m a pharmacy student” you answered proudly, earning an impressed reaction from the family.
“Is that so? May I ask why?”
“My dad currently owns a pharmacy and I hope to open my own after graduation”
“Awe you’re such a sweetheart” Minjeong’s mom cooed, holding your free hand. “Let’s not bother her any longer, honey” She whispered to her husband and then smiling at you again.
“Let’s eat now”
And that’s how the remainder of the dinner went. Chaewon and Taeyeon asked a few more casual questions here and there to get to know you better and surprisingly the 3 of you clicked. You and Chaewon love mint chocolate ice cream whereas you and Taeyeon used to play the violin.
That’s when the two older Kim sisters brought out expensive wine for you to share and then you got a bit carried away from the delectable taste.
Chaewon was slightly worse. Only two glasses in and she was passed out at the dinner table. Taeyeon was more responsible, being the eldest sibling as she took reasonable sips of the liquor. You just chugged every pour and your red cheeks were enough of a sign for Minjeong to confiscate the glass from you.
“That’s enough, Y/n”
“Awe man” you whined and let your head fall onto her shoulder.
“I didn’t expect the dinner to end like this. Sorry Mom and Dad. I promise you she doesn’t usually drink so carelessly” Minjeong smiled sheepishly at her smiling parents
“Sometimes a uni student needs their break” Her mom giggled.
“Thanks for introducing her to us, darling. She’s a gem you need to take care of. If I find out you made her cry, I’m hunting YOU down” Her dad joked, earning a nudge from his wife.
“Thanks guys. It’s time to take her home. I’ll visit you guys again next weekend once exams are over” Minjeong told.
She stood up with you leaning into her arms like a sleepy toddler.
“That sounds lovely. Do bring Y/n again if you can”
“I’ll ask her. Have a goodnight, I love you both”
You woke up during the car ride back to Minjeong’s dorm, feeling a bit dizzy from the wine. “Jeongie?”
“Hey, silly. Didn’t expect you to wake up so soon”
You sat up in the passenger seat and started scanning the view of your supposed to be nerdy best friend driving. She looked so attractive?
She had one hand on the wheel and the other resting on the gear stick, unintentionally displaying the rings on her index and middle finger.
“What’s going on?”
“You’re sleeping over my place remember? Unless you changed your mind. I can drive you to your place instead”
“No no!” You quickly panicked, surprising Minjeong a little.
“Cool. You feeling better?”
The effects of the alcohol were coming back as your eyes did their own thing again, starting from your best friend’s Adam’s Apple down to her unbuttoned shirt and finally…her crotch.
You remember accidentally walking in on her changing out of her pants and seeing quite an impressive size underneath her boxers but that was when Minjeong’s dick was flaccid. It made you wonder the size when hard.
“I’d suck your dick until my jaw dislocates” You randomly blurt out.
Minjeong’s eyes went wide, almost sending the car flying with how hard she slammed on the brakes. “W-What?”
The wine was giving you more confidence than needed so you decided to continue by running a hand from her knee up to her crotch and giving a gentle squeeze. Minjeong’s hands tightened around the wheel as she continued driving.
“Y-Y/n, we’re gonna crash”
“You don’t understand how badly I’ve wanted you, Jeongie” you husked, hand never leaving her bulge.
“Y-You want me?” She cutely squeaked, eyes darting from your hand to the road.
“Always wanted you. The faster you drive us, the faster you get to fucking me, baby” you whispered hotly in her ear and kissing the lobe after.
“Fuck”
You found out that same night that Minjeong didn’t like taking things slow. You were both already naked on her bed, her hand wrapped around your throat while she kissed you like she was starved.
She quickly sat up and fished out a condom but you snatched it from her and threw it away. “I want it raw, baby”
“Do you just let anyone fuck you raw?”
“No, just you. You’re all I ever think about”
Minjeong cursed under her breath before kissing you again, already pushing in her cock inside your desperate cunt. Her lips moved to the space on your neck that her hand wasn’t covering, sucking and biting while your back arched.
“Oh my god, Jeongie”
She smirked into your skin and began moving her hips. “My pretty cock sleeve”
Her words, her actions, her tone were beyond your expectations. A loser nerd girl who was also fucking hot under the sheets and knows how to use her dick? There’s nothing else you could’ve wanted.
“Ah!” You gasped at a particular hard thrust, pushing Minjeong’s head closer to your skin that she continued marking.
“Fuck Princess, need you to be mine” she growled and the hand she had on your throat had pinned your wrists above your head, letting you see her biceps under the dim lighting and her hot face, shining with sweat.
Her chain was dangling just above your nose as her movements became rougher. She bit on her lower lip and released a muffled moan that got you clenching.
“Shit. Gonna fucking cum, Y/n-ie”
“Yes please, Jeongie! I want to be yours”
She leaned down to kiss your nipples and then your lips. “Gonna claim you, okay baby? Not only will you be my girlfriend but you’ll be my personal cum dump too. How does that sound?” She smirked evilly, watching you nod.
“Yes yes yes! Fucking have me. I’ll be anything you want!”
“Good” Minjeong simply said before flipping you over with your ass up.
She held your hips and began fucking you from behind like a mad dog, slapping your ass hard enough to leave a mark. You cried into the sheets as you fisted the ruined blanket, looking to the side and seeing the lewd reflection in the mirror.
You could see Minjeong’s lips parted as she destroyed your insides, almost setting them on fire. “Fuck, gonna cum in this delicious pussy of yours, baby”
You chanted a bunch of “yes”’s as the bed started ramming into the wall. Your eyes rolled back and you released a scream, feeling yourself explode your cum all over Minjeong’s big cock, but she continued to pound into you chasing for her own release.
“Fucking take it, bitch” she panted, feeling the familiar tightness in her abdomen. “Holy shit, Y/n!”
You moaned at the warm feeling of her cum fill your insides, certain that it was going to trickle out of you. Minjeong pulled out and kissed your right ass cheek before staring intently at the white liquid escaping your abused pussy.
“I came a lot for a virgin” she chuckled, making your head whip so fast.
“You’re a virgin?!”
“I thought it would be obvious with, you know, the Minecraft shirts, my Roblox merch…”
“You’re a virgin but you literally fucked me like that?!” You said breathlessly.
“Pleasing a woman doesn’t seem so hard. Porn sites are quite educational too” she winked and laid you beside her.
She pulled the sheets over your sweaty bodies and kissed your crown. “So…does this mean you’re my girlfriend now? Like for real?”
You looked up at her and giggled. “Yes it does”
“Yayyy” she scrunched her nose, personality returning to the loser Minjeong you fell in love with.
“I need to build my Lego soon” she added.
“It’s literally 4am”
“I said what I said”

I'd love something about Dream who's very aware that he's way too intense romantically while also being not intense enough sexually because he's ace. His partners usually prefer it the other way around. If that's something you'd be willing to write (if not that's okay too)
hmm yes, we can always do ace dream. though we didn't quite reach 'aware' 😂 human uni au is what popped to my mind
--
When Hob gets back from class, Dream is lying facedown on the couch, one long arm trailing morosely down to the floor, face smashed so deeply into a pillow that Hob can only see the tufts of his hair. He seems to have been there for some time, and doesn't move when Hob comes in.
"Horrors insurmountable today?" Hob asks as he puts down his bag and heads to the adjoining kitchen to grab a snack. He'll probably need to grab one for Dream, too, now that he thinks about it. Doubtful he's eaten.
Dream just makes an mmph sound against his pillow. Then, once Hob's returned to the living room with a plate of apple slices, Dream pops his head up, lines all over his cheek from the pillow, fluffy hair going every which way, and says, "How much do you care about sex?"
Hob nearly trips and flings his apple slices everywhere. "What?"
"In general," Dream persists, heedless of Hob's shock. "Do you subscribe to the belief that individuals past puberty, particularly men, think about sex constantly, or is that an exaggeration? Which do you think is more important in a partnership: compatible personalities, or compatible sex drives? And why?"
"What is this, a sociology assignment?"
"Answer, please," Dream insists.
Hob sighs and gives in to the mad questioning. Joke's on him for having an insane roommate. "I thought about sex all the time when I was thirteen, maybe. Right now I'm just thinking about how I haven't eaten since breakfast and I'm fucking starving but we're playing Twenty Questions instead of eating. And as to the second one, I don't know, Dream, I think both are probably important."
"So you think about sex an amount you would consider 'frequent'," Dream presses.
Hob's cheeks heat. Sex is not really a topic he wants to discuss with Dream of all people. Those two thoughts don't meld together into anything good for polite company. "I don't know, I guess!? Doesn't everyone?"
Dream lets out a despairing wail and thumps his head back into his pillow. "I am outnumbered."
Hob still has no idea what the hell he's on about. He finally gives up and just starts eating the apple slices. He offers one to Dream, holding it by the corner of his eye until he finally sees it and takes it, turns his head to the side just enough to start nibbling on it.
"You'll choke if you eat that lying down," Hob warns.
Dream begrudgingly pushes himself up, collapsing against the back of the couch, and goes back to nibbling on his apple slice.
"So," Hob continues, awkwardly, when Dream doesn't say anything else, "sex life not going so well, then?"
Dream glares at him, though it's not very intimidating considering the apple halfway into his mouth. "Too well, by most standards," he finally sniffs, and eats the rest of the slice.
"Oh, yeah?" Dream having sex is another thing Hob doesn't really like to think about. Why'd he bring that up again?
"Indeed. I have suitors falling over each other to bed me," Dream says.
Do all classic literature students talk the way Dream does? Hob doesn't know. It's been two years that they've lived together and he's still yet to definitively figure out if it's an affectation or just the way Dream is. He's leaning towards the latter.
Unfortunately, he can believe Dream's statement. Dream is a snitty little prick most of the time, but he's also unbearably beautiful.
"So what's the problem, then?" he asks.
"I don't want them to bed me," Dream says.
Hob's not following. "Say no, then?"
Dream rolls his eyes. "I don't want them to bed me, I want them to want me." His voice loses some of its determination halfway through the sentence, and he looks away.
Ouch. "Sounds like they do want you?"
Dream snorts. "Only so long as it suits them. Only so long as I fit their parameters. Today I spoke to Cori--"
Ah, yes, Cori, Dream's most recent ex-boyfriend. Dream's had a lot of ex-boyfriends, but Cori really tops the list, and not in a good way.
Now that Hob thinks about it, all of Dream's relationships kind of go the same way. Dream comes home after the first date bouncing off the walls with stars in his eyes insisting this person's the one, and within two months the thing's somehow torpedoed into the Underworld and Hob's scraping Dream up off the bathroom floor.
He's starting to see where the initial line of questioning might have come from.
"--and he, at last, was straightforward with me when no one else has bothered to be all this time. I demanded to know, truthfully, why he ended things, and he told me that I 'care too much, but won't put out'--"
Hob winces.
"--which does not make sense, as we had sex frequently? I do not know what else I am meant to be 'putting' and where. I said as much, and he laughed, and said--" he imitates Cori's voice with a surprisingly passable American accent-- "'It only counts if you at least pretend you want to be there, doll. Next time try initiating occasionally.' He left before I could question him further."
Hob doesn't like the picture this is painting. And Dream is looking at him beseechingly, like Hob might be able to explain the bizarre encounter. "So... now you're trying to figure out if your understanding of sex is wrong or something?"
"I felt that, as a neutral observer to the situation, you would be appropriate to survey," Dream says.
(Neutral is a stretch, Hob thinks.)
"So I ask you, Hob Gadling, as a man demonstrably unbothered by 'hookup culture'--"
"Are you calling me a slut?"
"--what do you think is the correct amount that one should care about sex? Because I--" he breaks off, twisting his fingers in his hair, suddenly anxious-- "I do not know what I am doing wrong."
Hob moves to sit beside him, lays a hand lightly on his arm. He's about to say, you're not doing anything wrong, except... that may not precisely be true. At least in terms of how Dream is actually handling it with his partners.
"How much do you care about sex?" he asks.
"Not as much as I am supposed to, evidently," Dream says. Hob just waits for him to elaborate. "Not very much. I prefer not to think about it." He looks at Hob, weary. "Now you will tell me that this is abnormal."
"I don't know what's 'normal'," Hob says. "But it does sound different from how Cori felt about it."
"I suppose," Dream says, sadly.
Hob doesn't particularly like where the intersection of 'I don't care about sex' and 'we had sex all the time' lands him. "If you don't care that much, why keep doing it?"
"It is what is done, is it not?" says Dream. "Besides. I do not mind so much. But even when I do participate, it is still not good enough. Or so it seems."
It's because they're picking up on the fact that you're not really enjoying it, Hob thinks. No one wants a partner who's not engaging. Least not anyone decent. But not saying anything and then just dipping out suddenly is kind of a dickish move, in his opinion.
"Do you want to participate?" he asks.
This seems to give Dream pause. "Mostly I would prefer to do other things. Like. Dates. Only that does not seem much appreciated either." He twists his hands together. "Perhaps Cori is right. I. Care too much."
"No." Hob takes Dream's hands and untwists them. "Cori's a dickhead. You just need to find someone who's on the same page as you, that's all."
"But it seems that book is rather empty," Dream says. He hasn't taken his hands back from Hob.
"Well, was there anyone that you did like having sex with? Or has it always just been--" he can't help but cringe-- "you just putting up with it because you thought you were supposed to?"
"Calliope," Dream says instantly, and Hob lets out a relieved breath. At least it's not all bad. "Because, no matter that it ended poorly... I felt that she truly liked me. And not. Just sex."
"Okay, see?" he says. "You just have to find someone like that."
It... hurts, to try to push Dream into someone else's path. But Hob's long accepted that Dream doesn't feel that way about him. Dream rarely seems hesitant about trying to date anyone he is interested in. Surely if he felt that way about Hob, he would have made it clear by now.
"Someone," Dream echoes, looking down at their joined hands.
"Just because what you want isn't common doesn't mean it's not out there," Hob says, trying to be encouraging. "And hey, if you know now, you can avoid the whole 'not on the same page' rigamarole, hm?"
"Yes," Dream says. "I suppose so." Finally he takes back his hands, instead taking another apple slice from the plate Hob's left on the coffee table and chewing on it slowly.
I would love you right, Hob thinks, unwanted, unbidden. It's not a productive thought, and it's a painful one, too.
"Perhaps I will take a break," Dream decides, though doesn't sound entirely happy about it.
"Could be good," Hob says. "Get your head on right."
"Yes," Dream agrees. "This has been. Illuminating. I thank you for your counsel. I suppose I will have to also thank Cori, 'dickhead' though he may be."
And with that he retreats to his room, still seeming a little off-kilter. And Hob can't help but feel like he's gone wrong somewhere, said something wrong, though he doesn't know where, or what.

Hob mistaken for a prostitute by Dream.
Hob is just sitting in this hotel bar getting a drink when this blazingly hot man walks up to him and starts talking.
Hob's leaving tomorrow and had been in dumb meetings all day selling his tech company for more money than he thought existed for an idea he came up with his late wife; He and Robyn will be set for life (2 or 3 lives). Hob just wanted a drink to decompress (and quietly freak out). Somehow, this hot guy, who didn't share his name, talked Hob up to his room and blew his back out/they blew each others' backs out (Hob honestly stopped tracking when they front'ed against the room door to a fast 1st one each).
When Hob wakes up the next morning to a pile of cash and a note on hotel stationary saying 'thanks and hope this covers it + tip', he's gobsmacked. 1. It was a lot of money - at least he's a good whore; and 2. Hob didn't think they connected for a long term thing or anything, but he certainly didn't think his stranger thought he was on the job!
Well, life is weird and full, and this will be a great story for his friends at the pub -- Joanna is going to give him so much sh*t. Hob certainly doesn't expect to see his stranger again, now.
This is my new favourite thing. I’m actually so tempted to throw this in my wip pile because omg. I LOVE sex worker Hob, but not-actually-a-sex-worker Hob is so fucking funny and weirdly hot.
Anyway, it keeps Hob from moping as he starts his new life with Robyn. Whenever he’s sad he has a little chuckle about that night. He’ll mutter “chin up, you’re a good whore remember?” whenever he’s having a crisis. He’s moved to this smallish village with a school for Robyn and a nice little pub where Hob has taken on a few shifts that he doesn’t need but hey, they were short staffed. He’s made a small circle of friends and Robyn’s grandparents are just down the road. It’s a very comfortable life.
And then one night he’s hanging out with his friends at the pub, and someone new comes in. Hob doesn’t get a glimpse until Joanna waves the stranger over and introduces him as an old uni mate.
It’s the guy. The hot guy who paid him £4000 cash for sex. Holy shit.
Their eyes meet and Hob feels his face turn bright red. The stranger introduces himself as Morpheus and sits down awkwardly next to Hob, while the rest of the group dissolves back into chatter. Which would be fine, except — Morpheus starts whisper-asking polite questions about Hob’s job. Do his friends know? Should Morpheus be discreet about their encounter? Is Hob being safe? Hob nearly dies there at the table. How’s he supposed to tell the guy that he’s a millionaire, not a rent boy?!
The worst part is, Morpheus is so fucking hot. Hob wants him all over again. And because he’s a fucking idiot, he lets Morpheus take him back to the little B&B he’s staying at nearby. Once again Hob is fucked into sweet oblivion in several different rooms, and when he’s too sore to go any more he takes over and finally fucks Morpheus on the actual bed. Morpheus gives him permission to stay the night and Hob thinks that he really, REALLY needs to come clean but. They both fall asleep.
In the morning over coffee in the kitchen, Morpheus says “I am afraid I only have £500 in cash. Do you have a PayPal account?” Just as Joanna pops in through the back door (it’s her girlfriend’s b&b, she has a key).
“Oh my GOD, Hob.” She says. “This is why EVERYONE assumes that you’re a whore!”
…and from there onwards, chaos reigns.

light yagami as a yandere (headcanons)
Tumblr media
↷ A/N ─ my first time writing headcanons! i might write a story based on this because yandere light is so daddy ugh like he defines yandere
★ COUNT ─ 1k words, 50+ hcs
!! TAGS ─ gn!reader, yandere!light, stalking, manipulation (it's light so of course that's there), blackmail, death threats
★ TOPIC ─ light yagami as your yandere senior at to-oh university
Tumblr media
✩ ok so light yagami is literally the worst character you could have as a yandere
✩ omg so i 100% can imagine light getting interested in a junior in his uni
✩ at first, he just doesn't care about you because he mostly keeps his feelings to himself
✩ but slowly he either felt threatened by your intelligence or felt that you were "too pure" for the cruel world
✩ he's stalked you around a few times, sure, following you to events, parties or get-togethers you may be at
✩ he keeps a safe distance at all times in case you become suspicious of him popping up everywhere you're at
✩ he gets your friends to talk to him about you
✩ but he first makes sure they won't rat him out to you
✩ he slowly gathers info about you, from your daily routine to your favourite chocolate - he has to know it all
✩ he strategically places himself in clubs and events you're a part of, inserting himself into your world without you knowing
✩ he even starts sending anonymous letters and gifts
✩ but of course, this is light we're talking about, so there's no way he's stopping at that
✩ he eventually talks to you and befriends you
✩ he tries to get your thoughts about kira too in your convos
✩ he keeps an eye on you both when you're in and out of the uni, constantly trying to find ways to talk to you in the form of study dates or something else where the two of you are alone
✩ he tries to find a secret about you, something he can use to blackmail you into staying with him without giving away his identity
✩ if he finds something like that, something you don't wanna reveal to others, he'll blackmail you with that in those anonymous letters, alright
✩ but if he doesn't, he'll reveal to you in those letters that he's kira and force you to stay with him so he doesn't write you and/or your family's name(s) down
✩ when he sees you so worried about something, he'll approach you asking what's wrong, acting like he's not the one writing the letters because the bastard's such a big fat liar
✩ you eventually tell him that yea there's this dude who's obsessed with me, expecting him to help you
✩ but he's just gonna play his concerned friend role really well, being all like "oh yea? i'm so sorry about that"
✩ while internally overjoyed at the fact that he has so much power over you
✩ he comforts you whenever you're upset, manipulating you into thinking he's trustworthy
✩ light will constantly put you in situations where you'll be alone both physically and emotionally, and he'll be your knight in shining armour, and help and comfort you
✩ he even pretends to look for the anonymous letter sender who claims to be kira with light being a part of the task force and all
✩ speaking of which he will absolutely flaunt his status in the task force - not as a suspect of course lmao
✩ probably trying to get you into thinking he's oh-so-trustworthy
when in reality literally everyone in the task force is suspicious of him at one point or another
✩ talking to him is like talking to tom riddle's diary from harry potter - the more you reveal your secrets, the worse the manipulation is gonna become
✩ so now there are two light yagamis in your world - one, the caring sweet friend, and two, the unknown sender of the ominous letters you're receiving
✩ but when you tell him you're gonna inform the police about this anonymous guy, he reveals to you that he's kira and continues the blackmail
✩ any attempt at retaliation and one of your family members dies, of course
✩ in the rare case that you hate your family (relatable) he's gonna find someone you care about and kill them off instead. and believe me, he's light yagami - he will find someone
✩ he won't hesitate to kill off any other guy who even dares to look at you. he wants no competition
✩ even though he's not insecure, he feels satisfied at the way you don't have anyone in your life except for him. it feeds his ego
✩ and he won't stop until he's the only one you're depending on.
✩ he won't kidnap you - he's way too good for that
✩ no, he'll lock you out emotionally
✩ he'll make sure you have to beg him before even talking to someone who's not him
✩ he'll torture you every single day. he'll make every single minute of your life a living hell
✩ but he won't harm a hair on your head
✩ his threats are never physical
✩ unless you count the death threat from the death note
✩ he will berate you if anyone notices the changes in your behaviour, forcing you to act normal as if nothing's happening
✩ when in reality you're trying not to fall apart every time he takes you out on another "date"
✩ that is, if you dislike him.
✩ needless to say you're gonna have to get used to his presence either way because he's gonna be around a lot
✩ and if he can't keep a watch on you himself he'll send ryuk
✩ and obviously, it's light yagami, so he already has pre-installed cameras everywhere around you - your bedroom, your bathroom, heck even some of your clothes
✩ expect to be either shown off like a trophy or hidden away - there is no in-between.
✩ shown off because he's proud he's gotten his hands on you.
✩ hidden away in case someone kidnaps you to threaten him, in which case he's gonna have to kill you, sorry not sorry
✩ but who knows? if you like him it's a blessing, isn't it? a win-win situation for both of you.

AITA for asking my mom to stop singing?
okay so a couple months back i (a uni student) moved out of my old apartment and back in with my parents while i try to find a new one. the only issue is, since i first moved away, my parents had moved into a smaller house than they had when me and my siblings were growing up. they now have their bedroom and my dad's study, but no additional bed or guest rooms. for this reason, i have been sleeping on their living room couch.
my mom also doesn't have a room of her own, so her laptop is also in the living room, as is mine. so basically the living room is our shared domain for the time we spend at home. i have class and friends to spend time with, so i'm away relatively frequently (though i'm on winter break now of course), while my mom is retired and is at home basically 95% of the time year-round.
me and my mom both listen to music a lot and our tastes do not overlap basically at all. i listen mostly to indie, folk, rock, the kind of stuff white queer kids love, while my mom's music is almost entirely soulful christian pop about big j and stuff.
up until recently, my mom didn't wear headphones. she'd play music directly from her laptop speakers. this obviously bothered me somewhat, but i hadn't said anything about it. recently (i.e. a couple weeks ago) i asked her if she'd consider starting to wear headphones, which she has for the most part, though sometimes she forgets. i just kinda let her do whatever if she does, i haven't mentioned it again since.
so that's the first time i asked my mom to be quieter, and i don't think i'm an asshole for that. my worry is about the second time. you see, over the last week, she's taken to singing along to her tunes. maybe she did that before and i just didn't notice over the actual song itself? anyway, i can definitely hear it now.
and of course it's not the best musical performance, it's a lady with little singing experience belting along to her favourite songs, but it's not really about the quality of the singing. i don't like the music she likes and would prefer not to listen to it, is all.
today, whilst she was singing, i gently asked her: "could you stop singing?" i didn't mean forever, just in that moment. i really tried to say it in a nice way, and i don't think i sounded particularly rude? it should be noted, though, that my parents do seem to think of me as some kind of sensitive sally intent on criticizing every little thing they do. that feeling does kind of go both ways, but i admit sometimes i can be harsh on my mom, because she can be overbearing and a bit neurotic, and i don't really get to have the space i wish i could, especially not now when i'm living with them.
anyway, so i ask: "could you stop singing?" and my mom says something like "okay- well, i would prefer not to." the way she said it really made it sound like i had hurt her feelings. so i said, "okay. that's alright. you can sing." she stopped singing and has been sort of running around for the last 10 minutes or so restlessly doing random things.
my parents are that kind of people who are really really deep in "politeness" and genuinely baffle me since i'm autistic (like, a couple of days ago we had some leftover cake, and my dad straight up forced me to take half of what was left over even though i said i didn't want it. i still don't really know why?) so i'm sure even though i said "okay, nevermind then," my mom didn't believe me.
while she was running around doing random things, i told her, "sorry if i hurt your feelings." and she said, "oh, it's nothing." i genuinely don't know if i'm in the wrong here. i feel like, on the one hand, this is a space we have to share, and i should have the right to ask her not to make noise (i always wear headphones and never sing along to music or vc with friends when my parents are around), but on the other hand, it's her house, and she should have the right to sing in it, right? i don't know.
TL;DR: i asked my mom to stop singing in the only space for our computers in the house and i'm pretty sure it upset her. AITA?
What are these acronyms?

“Ignore the Sigma House.”
It was your first day of uni and you were following a student tour guide around campus. Your whole group were incoming freshmen, all of you bright eyed and unaware of what uni was really like. After the initial tour you wound up at the involvement fair, a place where all the clubs and sports gathered around to recruit new people. Of course this also included the fraternities and sororities. You were all allowed to go your own way as this was the end of the tour, but your tour guide did warn you to avoid the Sigma House.
“Those guys are just a bunch of animals.”
The warning did nothing to help as those same people overheard and came over to greet all the freshmen. They were super energetic and welcoming, going to show maybe the tour guide had a personal bias they were pushing on you.
“… ha… hi…”
You didn’t notice someone had approached you until you heard a nervous greeting, turning around to find a tall boy with glass giving you an awkward smile.
“Hello…”
“You’re really pretty.”
“Ah, thank you.”
“Uh… so, I’m Wonwoo, and the Sigma house is-”
“I’m y/n, and I’m a girl, and Sigma is a fraternity, right? Which means boys only.”
“Right, right, sorry…”
“It’s okay. I’m sure you’ll find some great guys to recruit. I’m gonna check out the rest of the fair.”
“Yeah, yeah, have fun.”
“You too.”
As you said, you took a look at all the tables at the involvement fair, signing up for a few things to get freebies, and thinking of giving them a shot down the line. When you finished with all that you went off to your dorm, needing to unpack, and still get some boxes moved in. While moving around you ended up bumping into Wonwoo.
“Hello again.”
“Oh, hi, what are you doing here? Don’t you dorm in the frat house?”
“Yeah, yeah, we just like to help others, especially when it comes to moving into the dorm.”
“Ah…”
Without asking he took one of the boxes you had and gestured for you to lead the way. You weren’t going to deny some help, so he followed you as you got all your things to your dorm and the two of you started to get to know each other.
“What year are you?”
“Junior.”
“Oh wow, halfway there.”
“You can say that.”
“Do you like this place?”
“The professors are good, and there are plenty of resources to take advantage of. I think you’ll like it.”
“This was one of my top choices, but this will be my first time living alone. Well, not completely alone as I have a roommate but you know what I mean.”
“Yeah. It’s something else, but I’m lucky to have my brothers looking out for me.”
“Brothers? Oh, you mean the frat house.”
“Yup. You know, we are having a party tonight to celebrate all the new people. It’s open to everyone. You should come by. It’s a great way to socialize and meet new people.”
“I’ll think about it.”
“If you come by-”
“Wonwoo!”
You were startled as someone shouted, seeing another boy come over and grab Wonwoo. He offered you a smile, but said nothing as he pulled Wonwoo away.
“I’ll see you at the party!” Wonwoo yelled. “Bye now.”
“Bye.”
It was kinda weird that someone just showed up and dragged Wonwoo away, but you figured it was probably one of his frat brothers who needed him for something. Now that it was just you it was much easier to unpack and get your things all set up. While you were doing that you met your roommate, Misu. You helped her with her things and you both began to get acquainted with one another. You also used the time to mention any allergies or rules you kinda wanted to set down.
“So, I heard the Sigma house is throwing a party, you in?”
“I don’t know…”
“The rumor is they throw the best parties.”
You really weren’t one for parties, but in the end Misu ended up convincing you to go with. You had nothing else to do, so it wasn’t a bad thing in any way. You weren’t sure what to expect, but there were certainly a lot of people. The atmosphere was definitely vibrant and alive, everyone around seeming to be having a good time. Unlike yourself, Misu was a social butterfly, immediately engaging with people. You felt more awkward than anything else. It wasn’t long before Misu disappeared from sight and you were alone.
You thought to hang around for a while, going into the house and looking around. You didn’t see Wonwoo though, figured he was busy with others anyway. This was his party so he probably had things to do. After a while you dipped, preferring to take in the campus at night before returning to your dorm. Tomorrow was day one, and you wanted to be well rested. Going by the noises around you, that wouldn’t be the case for others. It would take some getting used to all this, the bed and atmosphere, but this was what you wanted. Eventually you’d get used to it all, but you had to take it one day at a time.
🖤
It wasn’t exactly easy to sleep that first night, but you were ready for the first day. There wasn’t much to expect though. As freshmen, and this being your first week, it was all mostly syllabus talk and class expectations. So you were just going from one to another, which was honestly kind of boring, and that’s how the whole week went.
“Y/n.”
After one of your classes you heard your name, surprised to find Wonwoo waving you over. He had been waiting for you.
“Hey, how are you?”
“Good. I missed you at the party.”
“Yeah, sorry, I was tied up.” Wonwoo explained. “How’s the first week going?”
“Oh you know, the usual, just going over class stuff. No real learning just yet, although I do need a partner for-”
“I’ll do it.”
You chuckled. “Wonwoo, you’re not in my class. I need a project partner.”
“Ah, right, right…”
It was kinda funny to see how Wonwoo got. He was probably shy around you, but still making an effort to talk to you. Although you had no idea how he found you. The campus was huge and you were going back and forth all day. Guess he got lucky.
“You know… we’re having another party at the end of the month.”
“Wow, guess you guys do party a lot.”
“No, not really, but this next one is to celebrate getting past the drop out deadline, meaning you are committing to your classes. Or at least intend to.”
“I see. Well, I’ll think about it.”
You started running into Wonwoo more often. He liked talking to you, and he also checked in with you, asking if you needed help with anything. He was very sweet, especially that time he brought you a smoothie. Besides keeping you company and making you feel less alone, he really did let you know about all the best places around campus. You knew where to go when you really needed to focus, and what the best drinks on campus were. To you he was like your unofficial mentor, making it easier for you to adjust to uni life. Of course you didn’t always have time for him, but he did his best to be around.
“Hey, y/n!”
You heard Wonwoo shout for you, finding him in the crowd and waving over to him. Before you could get to him you noticed someone else grab him and try to drag him off. You could see a little altercation going on, but couldn’t make anything out. In the end they dragged Wonwoo off and you were left a bit confused. You figured he had something important he had neglected. You didn’t think too much about it until you were approached by someone else.
“You’re y/n, right?”
“Uh… why?”
“Keep away from Wonwoo.”
“What? Who are you to-”
“You’re a distraction for him and he needs to focus on his studies.”
“I don’t understand. Doesn’t he balance-”
“He has responsibilities, and you’re just getting in his way. For both your sakes, I suggest you avoid him.”
“But-”
“We’re not gonna let some freshmen mess him up, got it?”
“I… I’m sorry… I didn’t know…”
“Just stay away from him.”
“Okay…”
You really couldn’t understand why things had gotten so serious, but you tried to make sense of it. After all, Wonwoo was part of a fraternity, those people tended to take the brotherhood seriously, and look out for one another. Not to mention they had all kinds of codes and rules among themselves. You didn’t see Wonwoo for a while after that incident, but soon enough you ran into him again. The first thing that came to mind was his tall friend cornering you and telling you to stay away. Despite seeing Wonwoo, and probably making eye contact, you ducked your head down and tried to get lost in the crowd. That didn’t work though as Wonwoo chased you down and grabbed your arm.
“Hey, I was calling you.”
“I have to get to my next class…”
“You have a free period right now.”
“Look, I don’t wanna cause trouble or be a burden to you, so can you please let go.”
“A burden? Who said that?”
“I appreciate you looking out for me, but I can take care of myself.”
Those words seemed to piss him off as his grip on your arm got tighter. You whimpered and asked him to let you go, but he did no such thing.
“Who told you all this?”
“Wonwoo-”
“Who? Did one of my brothers say something to you?”
“No one said-”
“Don’t lie to me. Who?”
“I don’t know… he was tall… and told me to stop being a distraction…”
“They are unbelievable.” Wonwoo hissed. “Come on.”
“Huh? Wait, Wonwoo, where are you taking me?”
He didn’t answer you, instead pulling you along. By now the crowd had basically disappeared, and no one cared to get involved with the scene. That is until a few other boys came by and pulled Wonwoo away. You expected there to be some arguing, but instead Wonwoo threw a punch. You stumbled back a few steps as the group of boys began to grab Wonwoo and basically try to restrain him. One told you to leave, but you were kinda frozen in place from the shock.
“I told you to leave!”
The guy shoved you with enough force to knock you down. It was so unexpected you ended up scrapping your hands, drawing a bit of blood. You whimpered, taking a look at your injury when you heard a growl. Your vision snapped over to see Wonwoo fighting against his friends, his eyes locked on you. For a moment you swear his eyes changed, but next thing you knew someone was in your field of vision and helping you up. They took hold of your arm and pulled you away from the scene. You tried to look back, still wondering what it was you had seen, but you couldn’t see Wonwoo clearly anymore.
The person who took you away from the scene brought you over to one of the gender neutral bathrooms on campus. Without saying anything he began to attend to your cuts, cleaning them up and getting the first aid kit to properly wrap them. They weren’t harsh, which you were grateful for, although they didn’t seem that friendly either. This wasn’t the guy who had come to see you before and told you to stay away from Wonwoo. Still, the silence was awkward and you had to at least thank him. It seemed like he was reading your mind as he spoke before you got the chance.
“I don’t need a thank you, but you were told to avoid him.”
“I… I tried… but he-”
“We know. We’ll keep a better eye on him.”
“Okay… can I at least know your name?”
“Jeonghan.”
“And all you guys are from Sigma, right?”
“Yes.”
“So-”
“Enough. Make sure to check on the wound so it doesn’t get infected.”
With that said Jeonghan left the restroom. You hung around for a moment, collecting your thoughts. It seemed they would keep their word as you didn’t see Wonwoo for weeks. You figured they finally got it through his head that it was a bad idea to hang around a freshman. It did suck as it felt like losing a friend, but you had also been using him as an excuse not to socialize. One friend was enough, or at least you told yourself, but it would be better to have friends your own age who are going through similar things as you.
You got into your own rhythm with school work and social activities. Before you knew it midterms had arrived. Of course your roommate had mentioned some parties, some hosted by Sigma, but you skipped out on them. The alcohol and loud music and possible drugs and one night stand objectives wasn’t really you. Besides, you’d be more likely to run into Wonwoo if you went out partying. You didn’t think you were missing anything. Most nights you’d head over to the library for some studying. It was always quiet once the sun went down, that is unless you walked by a party.
“Y/n.”
You didn’t even stop to look, just picking up the pace but you heard footsteps right behind you, and soon enough a hand grabbed your arm and turned you around.
“Don’t walk away from me.”
“Please leave me alone.”
“Look, I need to apologize.”
“Apologize?”
“My brothers crossed the line with threats, and shouldn’t have involved themselves.”
“Are you okay?”
“Huh?”
“You’ve been gone for days now… I mean I don’t know your schedule or anything, but you’ve been okay, right?”
“Yeah… I’m fine.”
“Then we can part ways.”
“What?”
“You really helped me adjust to campus life, but your brothers are clearly worried about you, and I don’t want to get in the way of anything.”
“You’re not. I-”
“Your brothers don’t want us to socialize, and I’m gonna respect that.”
“Fuck them.”
“What?”
“They don’t know anything! I’m not just gonna leave you alone cause they said so. I want to get to know you and be your friend, your closest confidant, and they’re not-”
“Wonwoo, do you hear yourself? What is going on with you!? Cause you’re not the person I met.”
“I’m fine, we’re fine, so can we just move past this and-”
“No!”
You tried to get yourself free from Wonwoo, but his grip was firm. As you struggled his hold only got tighter, and it started to hurt.
“Wonwoo… let go… you’re hurting me…”
“I’m not gonna let them get in between us again.”
“Wonwoo, what are you talking about? It’s my decision-”
“It’s not! They’ve said stupid shit and you believe them.”
“It doesn’t matter if I do, I don’t want to be around you.”
“You… you don’t mean that…”
“Wonwoo, please let go. Maybe we can talk later or-”
“No, there is no later. When they realize I snuck out and-”
“You snuck out? See, your brothers are worried about you.”
“They don’t care, they’re just getting in the way.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Us. You’re coming with me.”
“Wonwoo, I’m not going anywhere with-”
“I’m not asking.”
Now you were panicking and really trying to free yourself, but Wonwoo wouldn’t budge. He began to drag you along with him, but you fought him. Although when you started screaming he pulled you close. You could barely register what was happening until he had your back pressed against his chest, and he was forcing your mouth open while he poured some liquid down your throat. You tried not to swallow, but you soon began to feel dizzy, your vision starting to go dark.
“… wonwoo…”
🖤
As you began to regain consciousness the first thing you felt was cold. You opened your eyes to darkness, and even once you adjusted to the light there wasn’t much to see. You apparead to be in some kind of concrete room, like a basement. You were sitting on a mattress and then you realized the chain around your ankle. Panic started to build up and you tried to get the restraint off, but it was no use. You couldn’t do much else but scream for help, hoping someone would hear you. The only way out was the door, but you soon realized you couldn’t get anywhere near it. You were about to scream again when you heard voices.
They were approaching fast, and it seemed to be some kind of commotion. You quickly backed up, tripping over the chain and collapsing onto the mattress. When the door opened you were momentarily blinded by the light. Although once you could see again the scene before you didn’t make much sense. A group of boys threw Wonwoo into the room, yelling at him to get his head on straight and calm down. In response Wonwoo growled back, making an attempt to escape, only to get thrown back in. You locked eyes with him, seeing them glow in a strange way which struck fear into you. That’s when everyone else became aware of your presence but it was far too late.
Wonwoo scrambled over to you, pulling you into his arms and nuzzling your neck. You went still, suddenly finding it hard to breathe. Your eyes were wide with fear and the others had come into the room, all of them in disbelief as well. They tried to get Wonwoo to let you go, only for him to snap back at them and bite one of them. You saw blood spill on the floor, trying to cower away but then Wonwoo pulled you close again, this time getting behind you and wrapping his arms around your waist. He had your back pressed against his chest, nuzzling the crook of your neck once more as he breathed in your scent.
“Wonwoo, let her go!”
“How the fuck did she get in here?” One asked. “When?”
“Wonwoo!”
“She’s my mate.” Wonwoo growled. “She can’t leave!”
“He’s in a fucken rut right now, he’s not thinking straight.”
“I told you guys we shouldn’t have let him out!”
“Then what were we supposed to do with him?”
“Someone go get Seungcheol and Jeonghan.”
“What’s going on…” You mumbled. “I… I don’t…”
“Y/n, right? Everything’s going to be okay.”
One of the boys tried to get close, only for Wonwoo to growl and his hold over you to get tighter. You could feel something digging into your arms, looking down to see Wonwoo had claws and they were digging into your skin.
“Let go!” You cried. “Please, please, Wonwoo…”
“It’s okay.” He whined. “Everything’s going to be okay.”
“You’re hurting me…”
“I’m sorry… I don’t mean to…”
“Please, just let go.”
“But then you’ll try to leave.”
“I won’t run away, I promise.”
“I don’t believe you.”
Wonwoo let out a whine, pressing soft kisses onto your shoulder, then you felt the pain. You screamed as he dug his teeth into your flesh, feeling the blood run down your arm. The guys really started to panic then, yelling at Wonwoo to stop and desperately trying to get you away from him. One of them broke the chain that was around your ankle, and the managed to get you out of Wonwoo’s grasp. They pinned him to the ground, a handful of them using their own weight to keep him still. By then your vision had gotten blurry and you could barely stand on your own. You collapsed to the floor, the world spinning around you. Your breaths were heavy and labored as you tried to calm yourself down.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, what do we do?”
“The fuck happened!?”
“Don’t yell at us, Seungcheol! Yell at Wonwoo!”
“You were also supposed to watch him.”
You could barely make out the gentleman in your field of view. He was trying to talk to you but his voice sounded so far away from you. His hand hovered over your bite mark, looking it over.
“Is the bite gonna take?”
“I’m not sure. Wonwoo, what the fuck!?”
Seungcheol and the others looked back at Wonwoo. He had stopped struggling but was merely watching everything. Once he realized all eyes were on him he smiled, showing his bloody teeth proudly.
“Mine.”

01 - When I Met Him The First Time
On a sunny afternoon, Hanni and Mark headed to the café to return a borrowed psychology book from you. You met her in your psychology course at uni and immediately became friends. Not close, but on good terms.
As they walked side by side, Hanni could hardly hide her feelings. Her heart beat faster when she thought of Mark, her long-time childhood friend, for whom she secretly harbored deep feelings.
"Mark, are you also looking forward to the barbecue today?" Hanni asked, trying to start a conversation that emphasized her closeness to him. "Of course, Hanni. It will be nice to see our families together again," replied Mark, still thinking about the preparations for the fest.
He saw Hanni as a good friend, almost like a sister, but he had no idea of her true feelings.
As they entered the café, Mark immediately felt an inexplicable attraction to the young woman at the table. He couldn't take his eyes off her, feeling magically drawn to her.
You, waiting for Hanni, looked up from your laptop and immediately noticed the handsome young man at Hanni's side. His undercut, his black hair touching his eyebrows, his well-defined cheekbones, his round eyes that looked innocent but intense at the same time, caught your attention immediately.
Your eyes met, and and a spark of curiosity was ignited. You felt an unexpected but strong attraction.
Hanni noticed a strange aura in Mark, so instinctively she was trying to draw Mark's attention to herself. She casually put her arm around his shoulder, as a sign of their supposed closeness. Mark was a bit surprised by Hanni's gesture, but he smiled politely.
You exchanged a few words about the book with Hanni. "How did you like the book?" you asked, curious about Hanni's opinion. "It was really fascinating. I especially liked the character development," Hanni replied, trying to keep the conversation short.
Inside, she struggled with a feeling of jealousy, as Mark's attention was obviously directed towards you. His gaze still captivated by your radiant eyes. Mark stood a little apart, observing you two, trying to understand his own feelings. This unexpected encounter had triggered something in him that he couldn't put into words. He was confused, but at the same time fascinated by your aura and beauty.
The scene in the café was short but intense. When Mark and Hanni left the café, Mark was still thinking about the mysterious beauty he had just met.
You, for your part, couldn't forget Mark's warm eyes, which said so much more than words ever could.
02 - When I Met Him The Second Time
On a rainy afternoon, you strolled through the aisles of a cozy bookstore, lost in the world of literature. While you were browsing a book about modern poetry, you suddenly heard a familiar, lively voice that made you smile.
"I'm telling you, this book is only for people who have too much free time to think about the meaning of life!" you heard Haechan say.
"Oh come on, Haechan, not everyone has such a superficial taste in literature like you," replied another voice. You recognized Haechan's voice.
So, you turned around curiously and discovered the two friends standing between the shelves. Mark held a book about classical music history, while Haechan held up a comic book.
"Hey, Y/n!" called Haechan, noticing you. "Look who's here hunting bookworms too!" Mark turned around in surprise and his eyes met Yyours. A smile spread across his face when he saw her. "Haven't we met before?"
Haechan, always ready for a bit of fun, grinned broadly. "Ah, this is Y/n. We met her at the university's summer fest."
How I Met His Crazy Best Friend
The university's summer fest, held for kids, was in full swing. Children of various ages buzzed excitedly between the colorful stands and workshops.
You and Mingyu, your bf at that time, were busy leading your creative workshop, helping children create little artworks from recycled materials. You were in your element, giving instructions to the children with sparkling eyes, while Mingyu took care of the organizational aspects.
On the other side of the festival grounds, Mark and Haechan led an instrument workshop. While Mark introduced the children to the world of guitar sounds, Haechan showed them various percussion instruments. With his typical lively and determined manner, he enthusiastically led his instrument workshop. With witty humor that delighted the children, he managed to motivate even the most reserved participants.
You decided to a short break from your own workshop and strolled around to explore the other activities.
When you passed the music workshop, you were drawn by the cheerful music and laughing children's voices. You noticed a boy who, despite the exuberant atmosphere around him, appeared still and withdrawn.
His reaction to the music was unusual – he seemed overwhelmed and at the same time fascinated.
Haechan, noticing your curious gaze, approached you with a friendly smile. "Hey, I'm Haechan, the leader of this rhythmic chaos here. And you are?" "I'm Y/n, responsible for the creative workshop," you replied with a warm smile.
You noticed a boy standing aside and pointed to him. "He doesn't seem to be quite comfortable." Haechan nodded. "Yeah, I've been watching him. He loves music, but the group activity seems to overwhelm him. He has trouble with the noise and the hustle and bustle."
"Could it be a sensory integration disorder?" You asked thoughtfully. "Some children have difficulty processing sensory information. It can be very overwhelming for them.
“I heard that his parents have already consulted many specialists, but so far without success. That's interesting and quite unfortunate,” said Haechan.
"My father is a neuropsychiatrist and has a lot of experience with such cases. He might have some helpful advice," You suggested.
At that moment, Mingyu called you back to her workshop. "That sounds like a great idea. Can we exchange contact information? I would like to learn more about how we can help him," Haechan said quickly.
As they said goodbye, Haechan threw in a humorous comment. "Just be careful not to get too creative and overshadow us all!" You jokingly replied: "Only if you promise not to hypnotize everyone with your sense of rhythm!"
With a laugh, you returned to your workshop, while Haechan watched you and turned back to the children.
You were still surprised by the encounter at the bookstore. "Right, you haven't officially met yet. Mark, this is Y/n. Y/n, this is Mark, one of my best friends," Haechan introduced them.
Mark extended his hand, and you took it, a friendly smile on your face. "Nice to meet you, Mark."
"The pleasure is all mine," replied Mark, his smile widening as he shook her hand. Haechan watched the scene with an amused smile.
"Yes, the summer fest was really nice. But it's funny. I didn't notice you there, Mark. I met Haechan there, but I didn't see you."
Mark frowned. "That's interesting. I was mostly in the background, taking care of the organization. Maybe we just missed each each other." Haechan laughed. "Mark was busy playing the perfect conductor for our little music performance. He hardly had time to mingle with people." Mark nodded in agreement. "That's true, I was pretty busy."
After introducing themselves, they began to talk about their favorite books and authors.
You talked about her fascination with modern poetry, while Mark shared his enthusiasm for classical music history.
Haechan, known more for his humor than his literary interest, waited for the right moment to make one of his typical jokes. "You know what the problem with classical music and poetry is? You almost need a degree in philosophy to understand them!", he said with a mischievous grin.
Mark gave him a playfully annoyed look. "Haechan, you and your superficial taste for literature and music! Sometimes I wonder if you even know who Beethoven is."
"Beethoven? Isn't that the guy who thought 'Für Elise' was a pop song?", Haechan countered, underlining his joke. You couldn't help but laugh out loud. Haechan was just too funny.
Mark shook his head, his smile betraying his amusement. "Haechan, your musical knowledge is comparable to that of a five-year-old seeing a piano for the first time," he replied with a sigh.
Haechan pretended to be offended. "Hey, that was harsh. I think I'll make you sleep in the living room tonight." Mark reacted immediately in shock, worried that you might misunderstand him. "Oh no, no, that's not how it sounds. We live together and – I mean – not like that. We're just roommates and..." Mark stuttered, his cheeks slightly reddened.
Haechan burst into laughter, and you couldn't help but giggle. "Don't worry," said Y/n, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I understand. You're like brothers, right?"
Mark, visibly relieved, smiled broadly. "Exactly, that's exactly what we are.“ Haechan couldn't stop laughing.
Amidst his laughter, he said, "Okay, okay, I admit, my musical knowledge isn't quite as sophisticated as Mark's," said Haechan, "but at least my jokes add some spice to the discussion!"
After talking about various books and authors for a while, Haechan suggested you have a coffee together to continue the conversation. Mark and you agreed, so you left the bookstore to go to the nearby café.
As you left the bookstore, the mood between Mark, Haechan, and you was lively and warm. Now you were standing in line at a café.
Haechan, noticing the subtle glances and developing chemistry between Mark and you, couldn't resist throwing teasing glances at his friend.
Mark felt amused and a little embarrassed by Haechan's implications. He gave Haechan a look that telepathically conveyed: "Stop it, I know what you're thinking." Haechan responded with a broad grin and a shrug, as if to say: "I can't help it, it's obvious!"
You noticed the silent but expressive play between the two friends and couldn't help but smile. It was as if you were watching an invisible, but understandable conversation between Mark and Haechan.
You felt a bit like an outsider looking into a private conversation, but you enjoyed the lightness and humor the two spread.
Mark, aware of your attention, tried to change the subject to defuse the situation a bit. "So, Y/n, tell me more about your work. I'm really interested in what you do."
You were grateful for the distraction and began to talk about your work as a behavior therapist. As you spoke, you noticed how Mark listened attentively. Your eyes met several times, and in those moments, a kind of silent agreement was formed, an unspoken communication that went beyond words.
Haechan, noticing the change in dynamics, leaned back and watched as you two slowly came closer, without directly noticing. He couldn't help but feel a bit like a matchmaker, witnessing something special.
You all chose a table near a large window that offered a view of the busy street. Mark, sitting next to you, took the opportunity to continue the conversation.
"So, Y/n-ah, what inspired you to become a behavior therapist?" You, pleased with his interest, replied with a smile. "Well, I've always had the need to help others, especially children and adolescents. I find it incredibly rewarding to see positive changes in their lives." Mark nodded understandingly. "That sounds really fulfilling. I work part-time as a music teacher at a high school, and I can totally relate to what you mean. There's nothing better than seeing young people develop and unfold."
As you talked, Haechan observed you two and noticed the way you interacted and laughed. There was an obvious chemistry between you two that couldn't be overlooked.
Haechan, always the joker, couldn't help but make a comment. "Look at the two of you! I think I'm sitting at the table with two soulmates," he said casually.
You were slightly embarrassed by Haechan's comment and looked briefly to the side, as if trying to distract yourself from the attention. Mark, noticing this, quickly intervened to lighten the mood again. "Haechan sometimes has a slightly exaggerated imagination," he said with a smile, reassuringly looking at you. "But he has a good heart. And he's right when he says it's nice to meet new people who share similar interests."
You smiled gratefully for Mark's empathetic words. You immediately felt more comfortable and turned back to the conversation. "That's true," you replied, "it's always nice to meet like-minded people."
Haechan, recognizing the subtleties of the situation, steered the conversation to a lighter topic. "So, Mark, tell Y/n about your legendary songs you've written. She needs to know who she's sitting at the table with!" Mark laughed, but noticed that he might do that at a later time.
The conversation continued, and you three spent a pleasant time together. The hours seemed like minutes, and soon it was time to leave.
Outside the café, Mark and Haechan said goodbye to you. Mark looked worriedly at you. "Are you sure you'll get home okay? I could walk you part of the way," he offered, the caring tone in his voice unmistakable.
Haechan couldn't help but grin. "Oh, Mark, the noble knight, always ready to accompany a damsel in distress. But be careful, she might think you're a stalker!" You had to laugh at Haechan's comment. "Thanks, Mark, that's really sweet of you. But I live just a few streets away. I'll be fine," you said with a warm smile. Mark nodded, a little disappointed but still smiling. "Okay, then take care of yourself. It was really nice to meet you."
"The pleasure was all mine," You replied before turning and walking away slowly.
As you were out of earshot, Haechan playfully nudged Mark with his elbow. 'So, how does it feel to be rejected by a beautiful woman?' Mark chuckled softly. 'Rejected? I think she just issued an invitation to see her again.'
Haechan raised an eyebrow. 'Oh, really? And when will you accept this 'invitation'?' Mark looked thoughtfully in the direction you had gone.
03 - When We Dove Into Our Own World
In a cozy café in the city center, surrounded by the soft sound of jazz music and the quiet murmur of other guests, Mark, you, and your friends met.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with candlelight dancing on the tables, giving the room an intimate ambiance. Mark, with a thoughtful look, broke the silence. 'You know, Y/n, I've been thinking about the concept of fate recently. Do you believe everything is predetermined, or that we shape our own destiny?'
You looked at him in surprise, pleased by the unexpected depth of the conversation. 'That's a difficult question. I believe in a mix of both. There are things we can't control, but I think we have the power to choose our reaction to them.'
Mark nodded in agreement. 'I feel the same way. Sometimes it seems like certain things are just meant to happen. Like our chance meeting in that bookstore.' A warm smile spread across your face.
'That really was a lucky coincidence. I mean, who would have thought we'd meet again?' Mark smirked.
You suddenly shared a thought that seemed to come out of nowhere. 'Remember the 'flying ducks'?' you said with a mischievous twinkle in your eyes.
Mark, immediately privy to the insider, burst into roaring laughter. 'Oh yes, the 'flying ducks'! How could we ever forget?'
Your friends looked at them confusedly, while Mark and you reveled in memories of a funny moment when you attended a street performance in the city, where a street artist tried to imitate ducks that could fly.
The scene was so absurd and comical that you two had made it your private joke.
Mark leaned forward and said confidentially, 'Remember how we ran through the city in the rain afterward, looking for a place to warm up? That crazy bookstore we found – I think it was the perfect place for us.' You nodded with a smile. 'Yes, and you tried to explain this extremely complicated theory about the evolution of classical music to me. I think I only understood half of it, but it was so nice listening to you.'
Meanwhile, Haechan watched the couple from the other side of the table with a mischievous smile. He leaned over to Karina and whispered, 'They're so in their own world. I bet they wouldn't even notice if an elephant walked through the café.'
Karina agreed with a smile. Only Hanni shifted back and forth uneasily in her chair, uncomfortable at the sight of Mark and you being so engrossed in your own world.
04 - When He Shared His Dream With Me
During your walk through the park with Mark, accentuated by the soft rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds, your conversation found a perfect balance between depth and lightness.
Mark, with a slight grin, began the conversation. 'You know, Y/n, sometimes I wish I could just stand on a stage and play my music without worrying about what the world thinks.'
You laughed softly. 'That would be a sight! The serious and thoughtful Mark, transforming into a wild rock star. I'd book the front row!'
Mark's eyes sparkled with pleasure. 'Oh, I'd love to have you there. But only if you promise not to cheer too loudly. I wouldn't want to lose my concentration.'
You continued to joke, and you told him about an embarrassing situation from her childhood.
'Imagine, I literally stumbled onto the stage during a school performance. Since then, I've had a kind of 'stage phobia'.' Mark laughed heartily. 'That's incredible! I wish I had seen that. Maybe I could therapize you with a few private music lessons?'
The conversation took a more serious turn as you talked about your work. 'I work with so many children who have lost their inner voice. My goal is to help them find it again. Sometimes it feels like detective work, finding the right words and approaches to reach them.'
Mark looked at you with admiration. 'You're like a light in the darkness for these children, Y/n. Your work is more than just a job, it's a calling.'
You blushed slightly at Mark's words but quickly retorted with a mischievous grin. 'Well, I could also say that your music heals souls, Mark. Maybe we should form a team – you play the melodies, and I bring the words.'
05 - When I Friendzoned Him Out Of Fear
On a mild Friday evening, you invited Mark over for a cozy movie night at her apartment.
When Mark arrived, he was greeted by Elvis, your Persian cat, who was doing something particularly funny – chasing her own tail and meowing in a way that sounded like a little song.
Mark immediately burst into laughter. 'Is that normal for him?' he asked, bending down to pet Elvis.
'Oh, that's Elvis's daily entertainment show,' you replied, laughing. 'He's a real rock star. That's why I named him Elvis.' You two laughed together as Elvis theatrically rubbed around Mark's legs, obviously pleased with the attention.
This cheerful mood continued as you two made popcorn and settled on the sofa to watch the movie 'Soul'.
During the film, you kept finding yourselves in spontaneous conversations, laughing and joking about everything.
Mark, sitting next to you, felt a growing tension within himself. He was fascinated by your joyful laughter and the way you tucked your hair behind your ear when you laughed.
Several times during the evening, he toyed with the idea of confessing his feelings. But each time he was about to say something, he hesitated, unsure of the consequences.
In a moment of silence, as the film showed a rather slow scene, you noticed a change in Mark's expression. He seemed lost in thought, his gaze thoughtful and almost longing. 'What's up, Mark? You look like you're calculating the end of the world,' you joked, an amused twinkle in your eyes.
Mark was jolted from his thoughts and smiled awkwardly. 'Oh, nothing, I was just... thinking. You know, sometimes you think about things and...', he trailed off, searching for the right words.
You laughed softly and shook your head. 'You and your profound thoughts. I guess that makes you a good friend.'
These words hit Mark unexpectedly. 'A good friend' – this designation made his heart momentarily stop.
He wanted to be more than that, but the fear of ruining your friendship paralyzed him. He smiled weakly and nodded. 'Yes, I'm glad to be your friend.'
The rest of the evening passed in a mix of casual conversation and shared laughter, but your words echoed in Mark's heart. He left her apartment with a feeling of longing and the question of what could have been if he had found the courage to express his true feelings.
06 - When He Made My Heart Beat Faster
While Mark and you were in the kitchen focusing on preparing dinner, you struggled with a particularly stubborn can of tomatoes. You fought to turn the lid, but it wouldn't budge.
Mark, noticing your efforts, approached you from behind. 'Let me try,' he said softly.
His hands covered yours, embracing the can opener and began to exert pressure. You felt his proximity, his warmth spreading behind you.
His hands moved skillfully, but you noticed his breath quickening slightly. In that moment, as your bodies were so close to each other, you seemed to forget the world around yourselves.
The tension between you two was almost tangible. Mark's fingers lightly touched your wrist, sending a shiver down your spine. Your heart raced, and you felt an unusual nervousness. Suddenly, the lid of the can gave way, and it opened.
Surprised by the sudden movement, you two instinctively stepped apart.
Mark's face was just a few centimeters from yours, and for a fraction of a second, you paused, your gazes locked.
Then Mark stepped back, a slight blush on his cheeks. 'Uh, there are your tomatoes,' he said, trying to play off the situation.
You, also red in the face, nodded and murmured a quiet 'Thank you.' You felt strangely stirred, confused by the intensity of the moment and the closeness you had just shared.
For a moment, you continued working in silence, each lost in your own thoughts.
Then, as Mark attempted to make an omelet and failed miserably, the ice broke again.
Egg yolk splattered on the countertop, and Mark stood there, slightly helpless with a spatula in hand.
You couldn't help but laugh. 'Mark, I thought you didn't want to burn anything. This looks more like a kitchen accident!'
Mark looked at the mess and laughed along. 'I think I should reconsider my cooking career. Or at least start with eggs.'
You stepped closer to help him, and your eyes met again. This time, you took a step back. 'I think I'll take over the omelet. But you can help me with the seasoning.'
Mark nodded gratefully. 'Good idea. I better stick to what I can do.' You continued cooking, and despite the previous tension, you two returned to your familiar, playful manner.
The incident with the can remained unmentioned, but in your hearts, you both knew that this moment had somehow changed your relationship.
07 - When I Touched His Hand
As Mark and you strolled through the usual park, the atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. You talked about everything – from funny experiences to their dreams and hopes.
Mark recounted an embarrassing moment at school, which made you laugh. Your laughter rang through the park, just as dark clouds gathered.
Without warning, it began to rain. At first, it was just a few drops, but soon the rain poured down in torrents. 'Oh no!' you exclaimed, as you hurried to find shelter.
You two found refuge under a large tree, its leaves holding off some of the rain. There you both stood, huddled close together to stay as dry as possible.
You both laughed about your soaked states, your hair sticking to your forehead, and Mark shaking water from his hair. 'Looks like we've taken a shower without planning it,' Mark joked, looking at you with a wide grin. 'Yeah, just what I needed today,' you replied laughing, your eyes sparkling with delight.
'Oh, are you cold?' you asked as you reached out to touch his hand and feel if he was freezing. At that moment, their hands touched. It was a random, but meaningful touch. Your fingers lightly brushed each other, and you both felt a warmth and tingling that spread from the touch through your bodies.
Your eyes met, and you held eye contact for a moment longer than the situation required. In Mark's eyes, you saw a mix of surprise and a deep, unspoken feeling.
You slowly pulled your hand back, your heart beating faster from the intensity of the moment.
Mark, also surprised by the electricity of the touch, cleared his throat and looked away to defuse the situation. 'Um, yeah, a bit cold, but it's okay,' he said quickly, breaking the silence.
Yet you both knew that this small moment had changed something in your relationship, an unspoken awareness of the attraction you felt for each other.
08 - When We Sang Together
Mark gently strummed the strings of his guitar, while you sat comfortably on the sofa, your gaze fixed on him.
The first notes of 'Yesterday' by the Beatles began to play, a melody you both loved. Mark's fingers moved cautiously over the strings, each note clear and full of emotion.
You began to sing softly, your voice perfectly harmonizing with Mark's guitar playing. Your eyes half-closed as you lost yourself in the music.
Mark watched her from the corner of his eye, feeling how the melody took you both to another world.
As the song ended, you simultaneously opened your eyes and met in a deep, meaningful look. An unspoken understanding hung in the air, a connection that went far beyond the words you both could exchange.
Mark broke the silence with a lopsided smile. 'I hope my guitar skills didn't bore you too much.' You laughed, your heart still filled with the beauty of the moment.
'On the contrary, I think you just gave me the most beautiful concert of my life.' Mark blushed slightly at her compliment. 'Well, if that's the case, maybe I'll write a song just for you one day.'
Your eyes sparkled with joy. 'That's a promise I won't let you break.' You laughed together, enjoying the lightness of the moment. Yet beneath the surface lay an unspoken affection, a romantic tension that you both felt but dared not name.
09 - When He Almost Kissed Me
At Johnny's barbecue party, the atmosphere was jovial and friendly. Everyone was in a good mood, and laughter and cheerful conversations filled the air.
When the grilling was over, someone suggested playing games, and soon they found themselves in a merry round of hide and seek.
Mark, you, Haechan, and Hanni decided to hide in the penthouse.
Haechan and Mark, always ready for a little race, playfully argued over who should take the stairs up.
'I was here first!' Haechan called, trying to push Mark aside. 'No, let me through!' Mark retorted, laughing.
Suddenly, Mark felt someone grab his hand. He turned around and saw your laughing eyes. Without a word, you pulled him up the stairs, your fingers intertwined. Haechan, who briefly whined, chose a different hiding spot and left the two alone.
You and Mark found a room in the penthouse and hid behind the door. You were both out of breath and giggled softly.
As you realized you were still holding hands, you both let go of each other, but the air between them crackled with sexual tension.
Your eyes met, and Mark felt a strong desire to kiss you. You felt the same, your eyes half-closed, expectant.
At that moment, Hanni suddenly opened the door. Mark and you startled and quickly stepped apart. Hanni asked with a slight suspicion in her voice: 'What are you doing in here?' Mark and you jumped apart, surprised and embarrassed.
Mark quickly realized the need to lighten the situation. 'We... uh, we thought it would be a great hiding spot!' he said with a forced laugh, trying to play down the embarrassment.
Hanni looked at you both for a moment, an uneasy feeling in her stomach. She felt a dislike for you that she hadn't had before. The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and Hanni decided to quickly leave the room.
10 - When We Almost Kissed (again)
During another gathering with friends, a lively discussion on everyday topics quickly turned to love and relationships.
Hanni, unable to hide her growing dislike for you, saw this as an opportunity to rekindle old stories. She began talking about Mingyu, his transformation into a party animal, and directly confronted you.
'Y/n, did you know how much Mingyu has changed? He seems quite different from before,' she asked with feigned innocence.
You, visibly surprised by the sudden turn of the conversation, shook your head. 'No, I haven't seen him since our breakup. I didn't know he had changed so much.'
Hanni, wanting to steer the conversation into uncomfortable territory, continued: 'Did Mingyu also have such a high physical drive for... games during your relationship?'
As Hanni posed her direct and provocative question, Mark felt a wave of jealousy and discomfort rise within him.
He couldn't prevent his eyes from narrowing slightly and his gaze fixating on you, who was visibly taken aback by the question. He wondered how much you would reveal and whether he was okay with hearing details about your past love life.
You, initially felt cornered but quickly responded with a witty comment. 'Mingyu and I had our moments, but I think that's something that happens in every relationship, right?' you said with a slight smile, trying to hide her discomfort. You glanced briefly at Mark, hoping your comment wouldn't worsen the situation.
Haechan, sensing the tension and seeing Mark's reaction, decided it was time to lighten the mood. 'Well, I've heard cats make great pets. They're independent but also affectionate. Quite unlike complicated relationships, right?' he said with a wink.
Karina, picking up on Haechan's comment, nodded in agreement, adding, 'Yeah, just like Elvis, Y/n's cat. Independent but full of love, exactly what's needed in a complicated world.' Her comment brought smiles to the group's faces, slightly easing the mood.
Mark, appreciating Haechan's attempt to change the subject, nodded in agreement and tried to shift his gaze away from you. He knew it wasn't fair to be so influenced by Hanni's question, but he couldn't help but wonder about your past with Mingyu. Deep down, he wished he could just leave the past behind and focus on what could grow between him and you.
Hanni, noticing her remarks hadn't had the desired effect, leaned back and observed the reactions. She had hoped to embarrass you and perhaps win Mark over for herself, but it seemed her plan hadn't worked.
The atmosphere remained tense for the rest of the evening, even as the group tried to return to more normal topics. However, Mark couldn't stop his gaze from wandering back to you, wondering if and how he should categorize her relationship with Mingyu.
On that warm evening, Mark and you sat outside at the table after their friends had gone inside. You both enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, created by the soft lighting and the quiet hum of the night around.
Mark has been waiting patiently until you were alone and tried to keep the mood light. 'Isn't it strange how suddenly quiet it gets when everyone's gone?' Mark remarked with a smile, taking a final sip of his drink. You, leaning back relaxedly, returned his smile. 'Yeah, it's like the world holds its breath for a moment.'
In this relaxed mood, Mark found the courage to change the subject. 'Y/n, I've been wanting to ask you something... about Mingyu. I hope it's okay.' His tone was gentle, but his eyes searched hers to make sure he wasn't overstepping.
You, surprised but open to the conversation, looked directly into his eyes. 'Of course, go ahead. What do you want to know?'
'What was your relationship like? You haven't really talked much about it,' Mark said, his voice carrying a mix of curiosity and a hint of concern. You sighed softly, a hint of melancholy in your voice. 'Mingyu and I... we had our good times, but ultimately we were too different. It was an important experience for me, but some things just aren't meant to last.' Mark felt a certain heaviness in the air as he watched you.
He knew he needed to be careful, yet curiosity drove him on. 'I heard from Hanni that you and Mingyu lived together for three years. That must have been hard...' You looked surprised and somewhat overwhelmed that Mark knew about your cohabitation with Mingyu. 'Yes, that's true. We lived together for a while, but honestly, we grew apart during that time.' You paused briefly before continuing: 'We had different life visions. Our values and dreams no longer aligned.'
Mark listened attentively, but internally he struggled with a storm of emotions. The thought that you had lived with another man brought a sharp pain and unexpected jealousy. He tried to keep his emotions under control, but it was visibly difficult. 'That sounds really challenging,' Mark said, his voice trembling slightly from the effort to hide his feelings. He internally battled with himself over whether to ask the next question.
His gaze was thoughtful, almost distant. You noticed Mark's changed expression and asked curiously, 'Everything alright, Mark? You look like you're fighting an internal battle.'
Mark hesitated for a moment before asking the next question, his voice hesitant. 'Do you still love Mingyu?'
You raised her eyebrows in surprise and gave a playful response: 'Well, I think I love my cat more than Mingyu.'
But Mark remained serious, his eyes searching hers for a deeper truth. 'I'm serious, Y/n.' You looked directly at him, your eyes showing a mix of contemplation and openness. 'No, Mark. I don't love Mingyu anymore. That chapter is closed for me.'
A palpable sense of relief spread across Mark's face. He breathed deeply as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. You, noticing the change in Mark's posture, added with a suggestive smile: 'And who knows, maybe I'm now open to something new.'
Mark, surprised by her hint, became visibly nervous. He stuttered briefly before managing to speak. 'Ah, that's... that's interesting to hear.'
'Interesting?' You teased, your smile playing around your lips. Mark, now somewhat flustered, tried to find his words. 'Yes, interesting and... and good. I mean, everyone deserves a chance at something new, right?'
You nodded, your eyes twinkling with pleasure. 'Exactly, everyone deserves that chance.' You two exchanged a momentary look, and the air was filled with a mix of tension, humor, and an undefined expectation.
Mark's heart raced at the thought that maybe he could be this 'new chance.' You leaned back thoughtfully, looking at Mark with a mischievous twinkle in your eyes. 'So, Mark, since we're on the topic... what does your ideal type look like?' you asked playfully. Mark, surprised and a little embarrassed by her direct question, cleared his throat slightly. 'My ideal type? Well, that's an interesting question,' he said, gathering his thoughts. 'I think she would be someone who...' Mark hesitated, searching for the right words, 'someone empathetic and understanding, someone with a strong personality but also a playful side. And...', he added after a short pause, 'it would be important that she's someone my parents would accept.'
You raised an eyebrow in surprise. 'It sounds like your parents play a big role in your life.' Mark nodded seriously. 'Yes, they do. I come from a pretty religious and values-based family background. It's important to me to find someone who shares those values and is accepted by my family.' You smiled, visibly pleased by his honesty.
'That sounds like a good combination. Should she also have certain hobbies or interests?' Mark looked thoughtfully into the distance before replying. 'Well, it would be nice if she had an interest in music or art, but it's not a must. More importantly, she should be passionate – about what she does and believes.'
'Passionate, huh?' You repeated, your smile growing wider. 'That sounds quite romantic.' Mark blushed slightly at her comment. 'Well, maybe a bit,' he admitted. 'But I think it's important to have someone who inspires you and with whom you can grow.'
'That sounds wonderful,' You said, your eyes glowing warmly. 'And who knows, maybe you'll meet your dream woman sooner than you think.' Mark looked at her for a moment, his heart beating faster at the thought. 'Maybe,' he said softly, 'maybe she's already here.' You two shared a long, meaningful look, with unspoken words and feelings hanging in the air.
After a moment of silence, during which your gazes were still locked, Mark cleared his throat and turned to you. 'Well, since I've told you about my dream woman, what about you, Y/n? What does your dream man look like?'
You, having anticipated Mark's question, smiled mischievously. 'My dream man, huh?' you began, gazing thoughtfully into the distance. 'I think he would be someone humorous and intelligent. Someone who can make me laugh but also engage in deep conversations.'
Mark nodded, attentively listening to her words, a slight smile playing on his lips. 'Humor and intelligence, those are good qualities. Anything else?' he asked, a teasing sparkle in his eyes.
'Oh, yes,' You continued, 'he should also be empathetic and have a good heart. Someone who understands and cares for others.'
'Empathy is important,' Mark agreed, his smile growing wider. 'Sounds like you have a pretty clear idea.' You laughed softly. 'I might have a few ideas. And of course, he should have some charming quirks. Perfection is boring, isn't it?'
'Absolutely,' Mark said, his laughter mixing with hers. 'A little imperfection makes everything more interesting.'
'Exactly,' You said, and your eyes sparkled with pleasure. 'And how about you, Mark? Do you have any charming quirks?'
Mark feigned surprise. 'Me? Quirks? Never,' he replied, laughing. 'Okay, maybe a few. But I promise they're all very charming.' You two laughed together, and the atmosphere between them was light and playful.
In that moment, it seemed as if anything was possible, as if the boundaries between friendship and something deeper were blurring.
You leaned in slightly, your gaze intense and full of undisguised attraction. 'You know, Mark, I think the most important aspect is that he looks at me in a way that makes me feel like I'm the only person in his world,' you said with a voice deeper and full of desire. Mark felt the tension between them rise. Your eyes were locked on each other, and he couldn't miss the desire in your gaze.
As you slowly let your eyes wander to his lips, he understood the silent invitation. He leaned in, his heartbeat accelerating as he moved closer to you. Your faces were just a few centimeters apart, and he could feel her breath on his lips. Your eyes were half-closed, and Mark asked with a deep look if it was okay to kiss. You nodded slowly, a silent agreement between them. Just as your lips were about to meet, you both heard the voices of Karina and Haechan approaching.
Mark sighed in annoyance and pulled back, while you gave him an apologetic smile. The missed opportunity weighed heavily in the air.
As Haechan and Karina rounded the corner, Haechan broke into his typical mischievous laughter. 'What's up, guys? You look like you were just trying to crack the world formula!'
Mark and you exchanged a brief glance before turning back to their friends, leaving the unspoken lingering in the air.
You both tried to play off the situation and rejoin the company, but the electricity between you was palpable to anyone who knew where to look.
As Mark and you turned to their friends, you both tried to downplay your sudden closeness and the tension they had just experienced. Despite their efforts to act normally, there was a subtle crackling in the air, a testament to the near-intimacy you had shared.
You still felt the warmth of Mark's proximity and the disappointment that your moment had been interrupted by Karina and Haechan's arrival.
You stole brief glances at Mark, whose eyes occasionally sought and held yours before turning away again. Mark, with his heart still racing, found it difficult to fully concentrate on the conversation.
Each time your gazes met, he felt a pull in his chest, a silent testimony to their unfulfilled longing.
Karina and Haechan, rejoining the group, noticed the changed dynamics between you two.
Haechan, always ready for a joke, threw a teasing comment into the round: 'Did you two have a secret meeting while we were away?' His tone was light and joking, but his words struck a nerve. You responded with a forced laugh that sounded a little too loud and too quick.
'Oh, Dude, you and your conspiracy theories. We were just enjoying a bit of peace.' Mark added, his voice striving to sound casual, 'Exactly, sometimes it's nice to have a moment of silence, isn't it?' Despite your words, an underlying tension between you two was palpable, an electrifying energy amplified by your unfinished gestures and half-spoken words.
Every laugh, every gesture seemed charged with additional meaning, as if you were communicating in a language only you both understood.
The group continued their evening, but the atmosphere had irreversibly changed. There was now an invisible bond between Mark and you, growing stronger despite all efforts to ignore it.
Your friends sensed it, even if they couldn't articulate it. The electricity between Mark and you was subtle but undeniable - a silent promise of what could be, hanging in the air between them.
11 - When He And I Called It Day One
On your first day as an official couple, Mark woke up early in the morning, filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. He wanted this day to be perfect.
Planning to surprise you with breakfast, Mark set out to make pancakes - a recipe he had picked up online a few days earlier.
Meanwhile, you opened her eyes to find a loving message from Mark on your phone: 'Good morning, sunshine. Ready for our first day as a couple? Can't wait to see you. I've got a little surprise for you.'
Your heart skipped a beat with joy. You replied with a smiling emoji, eagerly anticipating the surprise. Despite his excitement, Mark managed to skillfully navigate the kitchen and prepared a tray with freshly made pancakes, strawberries, and maple syrup.
He added a small handwritten note: 'For the sweetest start to the day.' When you opened the door, you found Mark with a beaming smile and the breakfast tray in hand.
'For you,' he said, his heart pounding with excitement. You were touched and couldn't help but laugh. 'You made breakfast? That's so sweet of you, Mark.'
'I hope it tastes sweet too,' Mark replied playfully, placing the tray on the table.
You sat down together for breakfast. Mark nervously watched as you took the first bite. To his relief, you smiled broadly. 'This is really delicious, Mark. You've outdone yourself.'
After breakfast, you two decided to take a walk in the usual park. Hand in hand, you shared thoughts about your relationship and the future.
Mark, sometimes worried about meeting your expectations, voiced his concerns. 'I just want you to be happy, Y/n. I'll do my best,' he said earnestly. You squeezed his hand tighter. 'Mark, I'm happy with you. We'll grow and learn together. Don't worry.'
Later that day, they chose to visit a café. As you sat there drinking coffee, you playfully teased each other about their 'charming quirks,' as Mark called them.
You joked about Mark's 'serious teacher aura' he sometimes displayed, while Mark teased your 'irresistible tendency to be late.' As the day drew to a close, Mark walked you home.
Standing at your door, you faced each other, your gazes locked deeply. 'Today was a wonderful day,' you whispered.
'The first of many,' Mark replied, leaning in to give you a gentle kiss on the forehead. You smiled at each other, knowing you were at the beginning of a beautiful adventure together as a couple.
12 - When Our Friends Found Out
On a sunny afternoon, Mark, you, Haechan, Karina, and Hanni met at your favorite café, known for its cozy atmosphere and excellent coffee, a regular meeting spot for the group.
Greeting each other with hugs and smiles, you chose a table near the window where sunlight bathed the room in a warm, inviting light.
As you settled down, the mood was cheerful and relaxed. 'Have you seen Jaehyun's latest video? He's trying to start his own vlog,' Haechan started the conversation, leaning back in his chair. 'Yeah, I saw it. He definitely has the talent for it,' Karina replied, placing her order. Hanni, appearing somewhat thoughtful, nodded in agreement. 'He's really good at it. It's nice to see how each of us is branching out in different directions.'
During the conversation, Mark occasionally cast loving glances at you. Lost in thought, he finally leaned over to you and whispered softly, 'Can I get you anything else, Babe?' This moment of intimacy and tenderness between Mark and you brought an abrupt halt to the conversation.
The sudden use of the pet name made everyone at the table pause. Haechan, who always had an eye for such details, quickly turned to Mark and you. His eyes sparkled with excitement. 'Wait, did I just hear that right? Babe? Are you two now...?'
Mark, seeing the surprised faces, smiled sheepishly. 'Um, yeah, Y/n and I are officially together now.'
Karina, who always swooned over her friends' love lives, clapped her hands enthusiastically. 'Oh, that's so sweet! Finally! We've all been waiting for this.'
Sana, whose feelings for Mark were still hidden, tried to hide her disappointment. She forced a smile and said, 'That's really nice for you two. I'm happy for you.' But in her eyes, there was a glimmer of sadness.
Haechan nearly jumped up with excitement. 'I knew it! I told you guys! These two were just meant for each other.' He leaned over to Mark and gave him a friendly nudge. 'You lucky guy, you snagged the best girl.'
You, amused by the reactions, couldn't help but smile. 'Thank you, everyone. I'm really happy.'
Mark took your hand and held it tightly. 'Me too.' His gaze at you was full of affection and happiness.
Karina, always the romantic, sighed dreamily. 'You guys are like a dream couple from a movie.'
Haechan, never missing a chance to joke, added, 'Only better because we're the best supporting cast!'
Sana watched the happy couple and struggled internally with her own feelings.
13 - When We Finally Kissed
Mark and your first kiss as an official couple was filled with tension, passion, and a certain playful innocence.
On a warm evening, after a movie night, you two decided to take a short walk. The streets were quiet, and the soft sounds of the city provided a quiet, romantic backdrop.
Walking hand in hand, you both felt the electrifying energy between you.
Mark, usually reserved, felt bolder and more decisive than ever. 'Y/n,' he began, stopping and turning to face her, 'I've been waiting all evening to do this.'
Surprised by his openness, your heart raced. You smiled at him and whispered, 'And what's that?' Mark looked deep into her eyes, then gently placed a hand on your cheek. 'This,' he said softly before leaning in and pressing his lips gently against yours.
The kiss started tenderly and cautiously, as if testing the boundaries of your new relationship.
But it soon gained passion as you reassured each other of your affection.
You wrapped your arms around Mark's neck, deepening the kiss and pulling him closer. Mark reciprocated, his hands finding their way to your back to draw you in.
In that moment, there was nothing else but them. The noise of the world faded away, and all that mattered was the connection you shared. As you finally parted, your foreheads remained leaned together, and you caught your breath.
You smiled and giggled slightly: 'You definitely planned that all along, didn't you?' Mark, still breathless from the kiss, smiled back mischievously. 'Maybe. But tell me, was it worth the wait?' You nodded, your smile growing wider. 'Absolutely. But don't wait so long next time.'
14 - When I Wanted More Of Him
After a long, fulfilling day together, as evening turned into night. Standing in front of your apartment, wrapped in the soft glow of street lamps, Mark and you experienced one of those moments when time seems to stand still.
Mark was torn. On one hand, your proximity irresistibly to join you drew him in; on the other, he struggled with the deeply rooted beliefs of his religious background. 'It's getting pretty late, Y/n. I should probably head home,' Mark said, his voice hesitant, looking for a harmless excuse. In his heart, an internal conflict raged – the desire to stay with you versus his caution not to push things too far.
You, recognizing his hesitation, smiled understandingly. 'Oh, come on, Baby. Just a little longer. Some tea, perhaps?' you suggested, your voice soft and inviting.
Mark felt his resistance wane. The longing to be with your overpowered his apprehensions. 'Alright, but really just for a short while,' he finally replied, a faint smile on his lips.
In the cozy atmosphere of your apartment, surrounded by gentle lights and familiar silence, Mark and you found yourselves on the sofa once again.
It was you who made the first move, your hand tentative but firm, reaching out to touch Mark's face gently.
Mark, surprised by her initiative, felt his heartbeat accelerate. In that moment, everything else was secondary; his focus was solely on you, the woman sitting across from him.
Your closeness was overwhelming. Mark couldn't help but admire your beauty. Your hair falling softly over your shoulders, your eyes sparkling in the dim light, and your smile that captivated him every time.
As your lips met, it was an explosion of feelings and desire. Mark got swept away by the intensity of the kiss, the depth of their connection. The heat of passion rose between you two as your kisses grew more passionate.
Each kiss, each touch brought forth a new wave of affection. Mark felt complete in your presence, as if a long-missing part of him had finally been found.
Yet, in the midst of their intense make-out session, Mark paused, aware of the boundary he had set for himself. He took a deep breath, his breathing still fast from your proximity. 'I should really drink this tea before I go,' he finally said, his voice a little shaky but firm.
You, also breathless, disappointed from the break, but smiled understandingly. 'Of course, the tea,' she said, her voice playful. 'I almost forgot we made it.'
You two rose from the sofa, and Mark took his tea in hand, his thoughts still lingering on the moments that had just passed.
As he drank, he looked at you, a shy smile playing on his lips. 'Thank you for the tea... and for everything else,' he said, his words a mix of gratitude and embarrassment.
You chuckled softly. 'Anytime, Baby. It was a lovely evening.' As Mark put down his cup and turned to leave, he felt a tug in his heart. He knew this was just the beginning of something special. 'See you tomorrow, my love,' he said softly before leaving the apartment, still feeling the sensation of your lips on his.
15 - When I Met His Parents
When the day came for you to meet Mark's family for the first time, you was a bundle of nerves and excitement.
Mark, sensing her concern, tried to reassure her on their way to his parents. 'They're going to love you, just like I do,' he said softly, squeezing your hand.
Upon arrival, you both were warmly greeted by Mark's family. His parents, an educated couple with open hearts, showed immediate interest in you. Mark's father, a university professor, and his mother, a talented pianist, engaged in lively conversations about literature and music, topics you were well-versed in.
The conversation was vibrant and welcoming, with you quickly fitting into the family. You talked about your work as a behavioral therapist, which fascinated Mark's mother.
'It's so important to help people overcome their internal struggles,' she said appreciatively.
Throughout the evening, Mark's parents hinted at a possible wedding. 'We hope to host a beautiful wedding celebration for Mark and you one day,' said Mark's mother with a mischievous smile.
Mark felt slightly overwhelmed. He worried that these talks might be premature and put pressure on you. However, he dared not voice his concerns, fearing to disappoint his parents.
To his surprise, you took the remarks with humor and charm. 'Oh, I think we have quite a bit to discuss before we think about weddings,' you said, laughing. 'But it's good to know we already have your approval.' Your response brought laughter from the entire family and relaxed the atmosphere.
Mark's parents were impressed by your witty and warm nature. Mark watched the scene with a smile, relieved that you fit so well with his family.
16 - When He Was Foolish
At a cozy gathering at Johnny's penthouse, meant to be a simple get-together and have a good time, amusing scenes unfolded.
Haechan, Yuta, and Jungwoo had concocted something special to lighten the mood: an impromptu comedy sketch that had everyone laughing.
As the friends gathered in the comfortable lounge, the three "comedians" suddenly appeared in funny costumes. Haechan, dressed as an overly enthusiastic game show host, led the program. Yuta, as his silly assistant, wore oversized glasses and a crazy hat. Jungwoo took on the role of a confused contestant, constantly getting the simplest questions wrong.
The sketch began with Haechan hosting a fictional quiz show. 'Welcome to the most incredible, fantastic, and craziest quiz show ever!' he exclaimed with exaggerated enthusiasm.
Yuta pranced around him, distributing imaginary prizes to the audience, while Jungwoo tried to follow the instructions with a confused look.
The questions became more absurd, and Jungwoo's answers funnier. 'What's the main ingredient in a stone sandwich?' Haechan asked. Jungwoo, with a serious face, replied, 'Umm, bubble wrap?' The entire penthouse echoed with laughter.
Meanwhile, Mark and you were busy in the kitchen, chopping vegetables for the communal dinner. In the kitchen, shielded from the commotion in the living room, Mark and you were cutting vegetables for dinner.
Your hands worked skillfully as you engaged in a deep conversation. 'Do you know what I find strange?' Mark began as he sliced an onion. 'How different vegetables can taste depending on how they're prepared.'
You, cutting peppers, smiled. 'Yes, it's true. Just like people, right? We show different sides of ourselves depending on the situation.' Mark nodded thoughtfully. 'That's a good comparison. Sometimes I think we're all a bit like onions – layer by layer that has to be peeled back to get to the core.' You laughed softly. 'And sometimes these layers make us cry, right?' You winked at him while tasting a piece of pepper. 'Exactly,' Mark replied, laughing. 'But you know what's the best part? Finding someone you don't have to pretend with. Someone who likes all the layers.'
You put aside the pepper strip and looked directly into Mark's eyes. 'Like a certain person I know and deeply appreciate,' you said with a warm smile. Mark returned your smile and set the onion aside. 'I think I know who you mean.' He grabbed a piece of carrot and playfully held it to your nose. 'You know you're my favorite layer, right?' You laughed and snatched the carrot. 'Your favorite layer, huh? I'm flattered.'
Suddenly, Mark had a cheeky idea. He secretly took a candy snake, held it in his mouth, and turned to you.
You, who was peeling carrots, looked up in surprise and laughed. 'What's that supposed to be?' you asked amused.
Mark replied with a playful grin, still with the candy in his mouth. 'Dare to take the other end?' you, always ready for Mark's jokes, smiled broadly and accepted the challenge.
With a grin, you leaned forward and took the other end of the candy snake in your mouth. Both giggled as they slowly alternated pulling on the snake, drawing closer to each other.
You giggled mischievously. 'I hope we don't get caught,' you said, her words muffled by the candy. Mark countered playfully: 'Would that be so bad?' His eyes sparkled with pleasure. Finally, their lips met in a spontaneous, passionate kiss. You two forgot everything around you, your eyes closed, completely lost in the moment. The kiss was abruptly interrupted when you heard a clearing throat.
You two separated and turned to see Johnny standing in the doorway, grinning broadly. 'Do you mind if I get some water?' he joked, still grinning as he entered the kitchen.
Mark and you, now visibly embarrassed, watched Johnny head to the fridge with a playful smile. He grabbed a water bottle, casting a mischievous glance over his shoulder.
'You know, this vegetable isn't going to chop itself, right?' Mark, trying to play off the embarrassment, quickly replied: 'Oh, we thought we were here to kiss... I mean, chop the vegetables faster.' He laughed, but when he saw Johnny take his comment seriously, his eyes widened. 'Wait, Hyung, I didn't mean it like that!'
Johnny, taking a sip of water, grinned broadly. 'Don't worry, Mark. I won't tell anyone about your little kitchen adventure.' With a wink, he left the kitchen. Mark sighed loudly and shook his head.
You couldn't help but laugh at his naivety. 'You really are one of a kind, Mark,' you said, giggling. Mark looked at you, a smile spreading across his face. 'Well, I try my best. But seriously, let's chop these vegetables before Johnny comes back and thinks we're just here making out.'
Both laughed and returned to your task, but the cheerful mood and giggles remained as you two prepared the vegetables for the communal dinner.
17 - When He Was My Best Comfort
One day as you entered Mark's apartment, you tried to hide your inner turmoil by talking about trivial things. 'The traffic was so chaotic today, and I almost left my scarf at the café,' you said with a voice that sounded slightly shaky. Your smile did not reach your eyes, which were usually so lively and expressive.
Mark, who knew you well, immediately noticed that something was wrong. 'Y/n, is everything alright?' he asked gently, as he approached her. His eyes sought yours, trying to find the truth you were trying to hide.
You continued your forced smile and nodded quickly. 'Yes, yes, everything is fine,' you replied, but your voice didn't sound convincing.
However, Mark was not deceived. He stepped closer to you and looked directly into your eyes. 'Y/n, you know you can tell me anything. It's okay if you're not feeling well.'
You looked down at the ground for a moment, then looked back up at Mark. Your eyes, usually so full of life, now appeared sad and thoughtful. 'It's just...' you began hesitantly, 'my mother and I had an argument today. It's always the same issue - she just doesn't understand what I really want.'
Mark's expression softened, and he placed a hand on your shoulder. 'You can trust me. What did she say?' he encouraged you further.
You took a deep breath and began to open up. 'She has her own ideas of how I should live my life. It's so frustrating because it feels like she doesn't really see me.' Your voice trembled as you spoke, and Mark sensed how hard it was for you to talk about these feelings.
Mark pulled her into a hug. 'I'm here for you, Y/n,' he whispered." Mark wanted to lighten the heavy mood. With a crooked smile, he said, 'You know, when you cry like that, you remind me of a sad panda. But even then, you're the cutest panda I know.'
You couldn't help but laugh at his teasing remark. Despite your tears, Mark's words brought a smile to your face. You pressed yourself closer to his chest and hugged him tighter. 'I love you so much, Mark,' you whispered, your voice filled with deep affection and gratitude.
Mark's heart beat faster at your words, and he felt the warmth and depth of your feelings. He held you tight and whispered back, 'I love you too, Y/n. More than you can imagine.'
18 - When He Got Lost In Me
In their favorite quiet corner café, surrounded by soft background music, Mark and you sat at a small table, your coffee cups steaming in front of you.
The conversation was lively and full of laughter as you two talked about the little, everyday occurrences that had shaped your days.
You shared a funny incident at work where one of her colleagues accidentally showed the wrong presentation to an important client.
Mark laughed heartily as you mimicked the reactions of those present. 'And then he stood there, with a presentation on tropical fish, while everyone wanted to talk about unhealthy patterns in a work place!' You said, your eyes twinkling with amusement.
Mark grinned and responded with an insider joke: 'Reminds me of the time Haechan tried to convince us of the existence of mermaids.' You laughed together, your shared past and the many moments you had with your friends only strengthening your connection.
As you two continued to chat, seamlessly switching between serious topics and light-hearted banter, you shared your thoughts about a book you were reading, and Mark listened attentively, always fascinated by your view of the world.
He valued your profound insights and the way you looked at things. Amid their conversation, you made a personal remark about a mutual acquaintance, which made Mark laugh. 'That sounds just like him! I can totally picture him making a dramatic entrance into the room,' he said, his eyes shining with delight.
Captivated by your appearance, Mark found himself lost in a world where only her beauty existed. Every one of your gestures, each of your movements, drew him deeper under her spell. As you laughed, he noticed how your eyes turned into shining stars, and your smile ignited a warm feeling in his heart. At that moment, he realized how enchanted he was by you. He admired not only her physical beauty but also the vivacity and depth you radiated. Every expression on your face seemed to tell a story, and he wanted to hear each one.
You, immersed in her storytelling, initially did not notice Mark's distraction. You finished your story with a question: 'What do you think, should we do something special this weekend? Any particular plans?'
Mark, pulled from his thoughts, looked at you confused for a moment before gathering himself. 'Uhm, I was just...' he started, searching for the right words. Then, with a sincere and intense gaze, he said: 'I was just wondering how incredibly beautiful and fascinating you are,' he replied with a mischievous smile. 'Your words are like music to my ears, but I must admit, I was completely distracted by your smile just now.'
You was surprised by his unexpected romantic statement. A smile spread across your face, and a warm tingling sensation swept through you. 'That's a very charming distraction,' you replied, your cheeks slightly flushed. 'But try to focus on my question anyway.' Mark smiled sheepishly and nodded.
'Of course, sorry. Let's make this weekend something special. Just the two of us, somewhere where I can continue to be distracted by your beauty and your other parts.' You laughed and shook your head. 'You're hopeless, Mark Lee. But that sounds like a plan.' Your gazes met, and in that moment, you shared a deep connection that went beyond mere words.
19 - When I Got Jealous
In the shopping mall, as Mark and you strolled through the stores, you had a chance encounter with one of Mark's former classmates.
She was a lively young woman, obviously delighted to see Mark after such a long time.
She started chatting animatedly with him, and Mark, always up for a laugh, made one of his typical jokes. 'Do you remember how we used to study for exams, and I claimed my dog ate my notes?' he said with a mischievous grin. 'The funny thing is, I didn't even have a dog back then!' The classmate laughed heartily at his joke, while Mark was pleased that he could still provide amusement.
The conversation was light and carefree until the classmate suggested they should meet outside the mall sometime to relive old times. Mark, caught off guard by the suggestion, reacted hesitantly.
He cast a brief glance at you, your facial expression had slightly changed. 'Uh, that sounds nice, but I'm pretty busy these days,' he diplomatically replied, trying not to complicate the situation.
After Mark's former classmate left, you stood somewhat stunned. You were surprised that Mark did not mention you were his girlfriend was evident in your facial expression.
Mark, still oblivious to the extent of your discomfort, tried to lighten the mood: 'Maybe I should wear a sign that says: 'Taken and happy'!' he said with a grin.
You, however, were not amused. 'Would it have been so hard to just say you have a girlfriend standing right next to you?' you asked sarcastically, your arms crossed and your gaze averted.
Mark realized then that his light-hearted approach wasn't working. He stepped closer, his look serious and sincere. 'Y/n, I didn't mean to hurt you. I thought it was obvious. You are the most important person in my life, and everyone who knows me knows that. There's no one else for me but you.'
After Mark expressed his sincere feelings, you smiled slightly. 'But your old classmate apparently didn't know,' you retorted playfully. Mark looked at you directly, his gaze piercing and confident. 'Does it matter what she knows?' he replied softly. 'For me, only what we both know and feel counts. I don't need anyone else's confirmation to know what's in my heart.'
His words resonated with a deep, romantic echo in your ears, making your heart beat faster. You recognized the depth of his commitment and were touched by his charismatic sincerity.
You sighed softly, your smirk turning into a warm smile. 'You're right, Markie. I'm sorry I overreacted. I know you love me.' Mark gently wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a loving embrace. 'You're my everything, Y/n. I want you to always feel safe and loved.'
You felt a comforting warmth in your heart as you returned Mark's embrace. You could almost physically feel his affection and the strength of his feelings for you. Your heart felt light and buoyant.
Mark, noticing the change in your mood, loosened the embrace and looked into your face with a playful smile. 'Now that that's settled, how about we enjoy the rest of the day? Maybe with something that brings joy to both of us?' he suggested, his eyes sparkling with delight and a hint of mischief.
You couldn't help but smile. You felt any tension fall away from you, a calm and happiness surrounding you. You were convinced that the man in front of her, with all his love and charm, belonged wholly to you. 'That sounds like a perfect plan,' you replied with a beaming smile.
'I'm in, as long as it's something that makes both of us happy.' Mark nodded in agreement and took your hand. 'Let's make this day something special, Babe.' he said, leading her through the mall, hand in hand, looking forward to your time together and the many happy moments that lay ahead.
20 - When He Got Jealous
On an ordinary day, Mark picked up you from the hospital in his car. He parked and waited patiently as he saw you coming out of the building with a man, deeply engaged in conversation.
You seemed unaware of Mark's presence in the car. Mark observed as the mood between you grew more cheerful; you were laughing and giggling.
A wave of jealousy overcame him as he wondered why the conversation was taking so long. He finally signaled his presence by flashing his car's headlights.
You looked up, recognized Mark, and quickly excused yourself from your colleague. You said goodbye and cheerfully got into Mark's car.
"You scared me with that high beam," you playfully said and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Mark didn't respond and drove off.
During the drive, your phone rang. You glanced at the screen and apologized to Mark before taking the call. Mark stopped telling his story and watched you as you spoke in a friendly tone. Jealousy simmered inside him as the conversation lasted longer than he liked.
You sensed the change in Mark's mood and looked at him with concern. "Baby, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you. It was just a quick call from work," you tried to explain, but noticed Mark's continued irritability. "Penny for your thoughts?", you asked, sensing his inner battles again.
"It's just...", Mark hesitated, choosing his words carefully, "it bothered me to see you so cheerful with that guy. And then the call... it made me feel... well, jealous." Mark admitted, his words were soft and hesitant. He briefly looked at you before returning his gaze to the road.
You took Mark's right hand, which rested on the gear shift, and gently stroked it. "Mark, you don't need to worry. There's absolutely no reason for jealousy. I wish you would trust me more." Your voice was gentle, yet firm.
Mark felt the warmth of your hand and looked at you. He visibly struggled as he searched for the right words.
You continued: "I belong to you, Mark. No other man in this world, who isn't Mark Lee, could ever take your place in my heart." These words made Mark smile. His facial expression brightened, and a palpable relief flowed through him. "I know I should trust you more. It's just that the thought of losing you is unbearable," he confessed, his voice becoming softer. You smiled back and squeezed his hand tighter. "You won't lose me, Mark. I love you, and that's not going to change."
Mark nodded, grateful for your words and touch. "I love you too, Babe. More than anything else." Mark held your hand tighter, his fingers gently encircling hers.
He lifted your hand to his lips and kissed it tenderly while his eyes remained on the road ahead. This loving, respectful kiss on your hand was a silent promise of his devotion and loyalty.
"Thank you for always being there for me, Y/n," he said softly as he continued to drive. His grip on her hand remained firm and secure, a physical expression of his emotional bond with you.
You felt the strength of his feelings in the way he held your hand. You smiled, filled with the love that flowed between you two. "I'm always here for you, Mark Lee. Always."

"Unlucky Draw" (Uni AU p. 15)
There's finally some fluff guys!!!!!!!!!
tw - anxiety, discussion of weed
Since Halsin's little break-up escapade happened, you actually do get the chance to see Astarion later that night. As of recent, he's been throwing himself into his thesis project more and more, to the point where most of your time hanging is spent with him looking through books and asking 'do you think this sounds right?'
"You know you can take a break, right?"
"I could, you're right, but then I'd just be wasting time. And I'm not allotted much time to work on this."
The two of you are comfortably sprawled across his mattress, like teenagers at a sleepover. You roll over and shut his laptop.
"C'mon, you've been staring at that paper for like two hours."
"And what else should I do, my darling Tav? Maybe stare at the ceiling in silence? Or scroll mindlessly on my phone until I don't feel like moving anymore?"
"Ugh, no! I don't know, take a coffee break. You're probably not going to sleep anyways."
Your best friend almost looks peaceful like this, wrapped in a cozy sweater and sweatpants, always wearing long socks because he gets cold too easily. You find yourself lingering on the thought longer than normal, wishing he could feel that comfortable warmth all the time, wondering it might be like to share in it.
"Tav, are you listening? God, maybe we should just stare at the ceiling in silence."
"Sorry, just spacing out. What were you saying?"
"I was saying, how I should probably cut back on the caffeine."
"Really? Astarion Barista Ancunín, are you turning your back on your beloved espresso machine?"
"Look, I'm not happy about it, but I've been far too anxious as of late. My nerves are on fire constantly, jumping at every little noise I hear. It's irritating, to say the least."
"I thought being caffeinated was how you dealt with the insomnia though?"
"Oh it very much is, which will become a problem soon enough, but I just can't be this nervous constantly."
It's something that you've definitely noticed, how quiet and fidgety he's become recently.
"You considered smoking weed? I know Gale says it helps him zen out, especially when it comes to art stuff."
"Nope, makes me paranoid."
"Damn, unlucky draw I guess."
"You're telling me. I smoked one time back in high school, couldn't sleep for hours, kept thinking someone was out to get me or something."
You start to get lost in the peace of the moment again, the fact that you're able to talk about shit that doesn't matter, how the light from the bedside lamp hits his eyes just right...
"Are you alright? You seem, out of it."
"Sorry, just thinking about what Halsin said to me."
"I can't believe he just broke things off like that, without a reason."
You swallow hard.
"He, he said it's because he thinks you like me? And that he doesn't want to get in the way of that?"
There's silence for a moment, that you jump to fill.
"But that's not true right? We're just friends, I don't know where he would've gotten that idea from."
"Right, I don't know either... sounds like you dodged a bullet with him."
"Yeah, probably so."
God, has he always looked like this? Damn Halsin, damn all those things he said, damn Gale for even playing into it. You remind yourself that Astarion's right, that this doesn't need to get any more complicated than it already is, that he has enough on his plate.
"Now, am I allowed to go back to my thesis now? Or do I need to have more mandatory break time?"
You playfully sigh.
"I guess you can do productive things or whatever."
"Well, in that case would you like to come read what I have?"
"I'll look at it, but you have the cool narrator voice, you have to read it to be like a professional author."
He rolls his eyes, and you go to sit next to him, looking at the thousands of words he's typed at this point. Astarion starts to read it out loud, editing tiny things as he goes, forever a little perfectionist. After a while, the voice becomes too soothing, and you fall asleep there next to him, letting your head hit his shoulder.
"Tav?"
Out of the corner of his eye, he sees you knocked out, clearly exhausted. He doesn't stop reading though, worried if he does that he'll somehow ruin the sleep he's let you stumble into. So he spends the rest of the night rereading out loud and talking to himself, occasionally asking you things that you don't answer. After many hours pass, and the wee hours of the morning arrive, along with the clock turning to say five AM, he puts his laptop aside, and asks you one final question.
"Why do you insist on pulling my heartstrings the way you do?"
And it falls on your sleeping ears, never truly getting through.

I would absolutely adore a zygon companion. And I think it would be really cool both because it could keep the NuWho rule of having the companions be from modern day while having an alien and because you could like drop hints over several episodes until it's finally revealed.
Like. It starts out perfectly normal. The Doctor saves the day in... let's go for Newcastle. He picks up a new companion after the events, Erin.
Erin is from Birmingham, but she moved to Newcastle in 2013 for university, and has been living there since. She says a bunch of stuff about her life over the early episodes that could easily be construed as normal.
She moved here for uni, age 18, in 2013. She hasn't been back, but she's got a... complicated relationship with her family. But who doesn't?
She goes to a support group in Newcastle. What for? It's never specified, but you just assume it's a mental health thing. Good for her, taking care of her mental health.
She talks about her past before uni with a sort of apathy, almost like reading from a script. But it's just family issues, you know? She's had times that weren't great but she's separated from that now, she's moved on. Doesn't like to talk about it, and it's not our place to push too far.
It gets brought up offhand that she still has a strong Brummie accent despite living in Newcastle for more than ten years. She mentions in return that when she was younger she was one of those people who picked up the accent of wherever she visited but she supposes she grew out of that, because her accent has kept strong this past decade or so in Newcastle. Or perhaps it's something about the Geordies, she jokes, that her brain doesn't want to sound like.
She likes the Tudor times. Who doesn't have a favourite era of history, and the Tudors are very popular.
2015 wasn't necessary a good year for her. Family feuds, from what anyone could gather, or family friends getting into arguements that dragged in her community. She tried to stay away from all that. She'd moved up north two years before and was trying to stay away from family drama. It's already known she has that disengaged feel with mentioning her past, which is assumed to be family related. It's assumed there was just some family drama in Birmingham that year. She doesn't say why, just shrugs and jokes that it was their horoscopes.
She has a disconnect as well with gender. She uses she/her pronouns, because to her pronouns aren't a big deal but she uses them because something along the lines of "they're what this body came with." Everyone thinks it's just a jab or joke relating to the fact she's afab, so assigned she/her pronouns at birth as well. It's 2024, gender binaries and gender identities aren't so enforced or expected, you do you.
She looks slightly younger than she is. It's a thing that's pretty common, people age physically at different rates, I've got family who look or have looked decades younger than they are. But is that the real reason, or has she been miscalculating slightly how this body is supposed to age physically.
I'd like to imagine the doctor doesn't realise it either. I'm putting her with Fifteen here, I think that would be fun. And like he doesn't even realise until everything's going to pot quite a few episodes in and they've got no escape route or there's something that won't back down and oh fuck to get them out of it she's gonna have to shift and reveal herself.
Perhaps it's a 2 partner! And it's a cliffhanger, all dire situation, the credits about to roll, Erin swears under her breath and darts a look at the doctor. He won't hate her for lying, will he? She never was much involved with the politics of the hive's move and integration here, so she isn't really aware of who he is in relation to The Day of the Doctor and The Zygon Invasion/The Zygon Inversion. She quickly looks away, steels herself, and shifts.
Roll Credits!
I'd like to think Tumblr would go wild after it airs, with some people being like I TOLD YOU SO I KNEW IT MY THEORY WAS TRUE and there's other people who thought it would be cool but didn't think they would actually have a zygon companion. And some people who don't like it because all the "the companion is supposed to be like the audience's perspective/insert it doesn't work if they're not human as we can't relate to them" despite the fact Erin has been living as a "human" since 2013. And on the other hand people are disappointed because you finally get an alien companion but like "she's basically human anyway, it's not as fun as if they were more obvious alien and not living a human life it's kinda boring."
Either way I would love something like this and in writing this I've got kind of attached already to Erin, who I just made up on the spot as I wrote the post. Curious as to what her Newcastle life is now, what degree she did, the societies she joined, the job she has now. Finding yourself as someone whose always been a part of a hive before and also having to do that while pretending to not be yourself.
I'd love to see the little slip ups she makes, the comments that could easily be a normal human talking but get someone on the internet excitedly posting in caps lock with the red string meme.

hello!!! just wanted to send in a message that i have a meltdown every time I read one of your Jason pieces; so freaking good! its really special to find writers who can really get a feel for Jason without making him sound like a goofy caricature of a y/a trope or like. an incel LMAO. would love to see more of your thoughts or headcanons on Jason's opinion on college! I think he's expressed some sort of desire to attend university, but yk. the whole vigilante thing kinda screws with it. thanks again :)
college/university hcs + jason todd
a/n: aw tysm that’s so nice to hear <33 ive always wanted to know what ppl think of my take on jason bc yeah the fandoms consensus is not always. my fave. to say the least. dnejjfjdjd but im glad u enjoy it!! this was also a greatly timed ask bc im working on smth that has a section of robin jason talking abt his life n college so im gonna save some of my thoughts for when that comes out but…
i do think it’s definitely something jason’s always been interested even if his relationship with post secondary school has been fluid to say the least. sort of like: i might have a chance if i get a scholarship, to not even in school, to having a shot at going to any school, to missing out on that part of his life in favour of vigilantism and revenge
with his past briefly out of the way i definitely see jason being that person who just Attends lectures even if he isn’t enrolled. he’d go to classes with friends or someone he’s seeing if he had the time. but if anything, jason would take a course just because he finds it interesting. he’d sit in the back of the class and he 100% takes notes even if there’s no reason
if he is serious about going back to school i do stand with majority rule that he’d probably be an english/lit major.
i like to imagine jason did attempt to go to university after everything went down with bruce when he first came back though. a little scorned and confused about his place in everything. i could see him trying to play the part of someone normal and ordinary, what did people his age do again? oh yeah, go to school or leave the city.
i think he’d originally take something a bit more serious, respectable even. law, engineering, business, anything to emulate some version of himself bruce had expected jason to become. i think jason also knowing dick refused, finally agreed, then dropped out of uni would fuel him to go to spite his older brother and appease bruce even if it wasn’t conscious. like it’s an added bonus if jason really thought abt it (which he won’t ofc)
back to school: being forced to take those required liberal art courses would remind jason of what he loved in high school. he loved english class on whole and arguing with the history teacher and picked up languages surprisingly well that he did both spanish and french for a time. and while he really thought about switching majors he ultimately dropped out because he was still playing pretend and into the hands of a man his relationship was beyond complicated with.
i think jason would return when he was a few years older, a little less angry and less focused on his connection to bruce/batman. and this is when he’d major in english, im not enough of a lit baddie to pick a focus but im sure y’all can imagine <33
he’d start with night courses bc he’s already used to being awake so whats a 7-10pm lecture before patrol.
it only became an issue when courses jason’s wanted to take wouldn’t work with his nighttime plan. he started really feeling the burden of living a double life in those moments. and definitely gets antsy in class/studying when an important case is taking up his mind.
he was fortunate to take online classes that interested him greatly too but when school started becoming priority jason would have a moment with himself to decide if he wanted to spend a few years pursuing his degree with a bit more focus or go back to his life before.
and i cannot say what decision i think he’d make bc i know jason gains satisfaction from life by being red hood and cannot fully give it up but he’s also one of those people that is always dying to learn more, to know more and exercise his brain. it’s why his electives r insanely difficult mathematic courses or science labs bc everything interests him. the study of art just moves him a little more which is why he majors in it.
some other points:
- he’s not a fan of the education system and even if money is not a problem jason doesn’t rlly care abt going to elite schools and will gladly transfer around to take courses he wants or depending on where he’s currently is in the world. he’s done classes at most of gothams community colleges and at least one ivy league school
- jason’s doesn’t care how long it takes no finish school either, which works well with his vigilantism. he’s always had an unstable relationship with schooling and completing school in its expected time/format never appealed to him. jason will do it how it wants because he can :)
- he’s a handwritten notes kinda guy but understands that typing is more efficient
- will spend time at uni (and public) libraries just for funsies like he’ll b investigating new drug rings next to people studying for their midterms
- like most of us he really hates group assignments bc he’s too much of a control freak and will do all the work, hand it in and email the prof abt doing it alone without even contacting his group members bc he’s a little shit like that
- but will help in tutoring programs, be a note taker for certain courses and if jason’s fully dedicated to school he might just TA <3

Paring: Aj Shabeel x Reader
Warnings: none
Word count: 1025
Summary: Aj was having a shitty day until you showed up
I did this on a car journey and I wrote the whole thing and due to the weird service it didn’t save so I had to rewrite it 🥲
____________________________________________
Aj was having a crap day. Well, to be honest he has had a crap week. Being a YouTuber can have its perks but it can also have its downsides too.
To put it straight, he missed his girlfriend. He hasn’t been able to see her for a while due to filming so much.
Don’t get it wrong, he loved filming but sometimes he just didn’t feel up to it and today was one of those days.
You had your own videos to film too, also being a youtuber yourself. It happened a lot, you were free when he wasn’t and vice versa.
They were about to film a new video, the best friend test 2. Aj was sat on the seat at the end of the table, zoned out.
He was brought back to reality when he heard darkest speak.
“Let’s welcome our guest!”
Aj has never smiled more then he had in that moment. You entered the room. He even had to blink a couple of times to make sure that he wasn’t dreaming.
He ran out of his chair like a cheetah to give you a hug which you gladly reciprocated back. The boys knew you were special to him, his pet peeve of people touching him seemingly disappearing with you around.
Obviously, he didn’t want you on him 24/7 but you were one of the only people that he would be okay with giving him a lot of hugs.
“Oh my god please be real” He mumbled into your shoulder.
He still couldn’t find a girl shorter then him. You weren’t taller by a lot, him being 5”5 and you being 5”7.
You laughed at his comment “of course I’m real, stupid”
Eventually you both sat down at the table, his hand resting on your thigh the whole time.
The teams were now confirmed, Sharky and Chunkz, you and Aj and Niko and Kenny.
You were pretty confident, being friends with Aj since the age of 9. You were one of his first friends when he moved to the Uk in 2005.
You and Aj were the last two to have a go at the challenge. You would wear the headphones first.
“Put on Many Men by 50 cent please” you spoken
Kenny clapped “good choice”
You smiled as you heard the music begin and started to mumble the lyrics.
Aj smiled at you and then spoke “yeah she’s got good taste”
“Do you have confidence?” Darkest asked him
“Yes” Aj spoke with confidence “I know her entirely”
“Even inside?!” Niko asked, slightly scared
Everyone burst out into laughter as Darkest began with the first question.
“How many siblings does y/n have?”
“Oh that’s easy she has two older bothers and a younger brother so 3”
“The ones you were scared of?” Niko asked, calling him out
“I-No!” He exclaimed “I just wanted to make a good impression” he groaned
“He came running into my room asking how he should act as they seemed like they could beat him up”
Everyone laughed at that as Aj his his face in his hands.
“Okay next question, what course did y/n do at uni?”
“That’s such a trick question” Aj laughed “she didn’t even go to uni, she thought it was a waste of time and money”
“Okay final question, what did y/n want to be growing up?”
“Oh crap” Aj mumbled “Well I know at one point it was working in an ice cream truck but I think that was just for free ice cream” he laughed
“I want to say it was either a doctor or maybe something in sport because she played a lot of sport”
“Not gonna lie brother” Darkest began “this is taking too long just pick one”
“Imma go with doctor”
He slapped your leg to get your attention and you swapped seats.
“First question, what year did Aj move to the Uk?”
“Oh that’s easy, 2005, I was like one of his first friends”
“That was such an easy question” Sharky complained
“Okay next, what year did Aj start YouTube”
“Nah man what” Kenny spoke “she was in his first video”
“Just the year?” You asked and Darkest nodded
“I believe it was 2015”
Kenny groaned “that was so easy”
“Final question, who is Aj’s celebrity crush?”
“Me” you spoke confidently “joking it’s Doja Cat”
“Okay now please get Aj to stop his awful dance moves” Darkest spoke
You tapped him on the leg and he flinched at the contact “Man” he spoke as he took the headphones off “that scared me the music was so loud”
“Okay so let’s get right into it, we first asked Aj how many siblings you have”
“Oh he should get that he’s met them” you spoke “I have 3”
Aj cheered and you high fived
“Next we asked what course you did at uni”
“Huh?” You were confused “I didn’t even go to uni”
“Y-you didn’t?” Darkest asked and you looked at him like he was crazy
He laughed “that was correct!”
You laughed “weirdest question ever”
“The final question was what you wanted to be as a kid when you grew up”
“Uh hold on let me think”
There was a pause for a couple seconds “I think I wanted to be a footballer”
Aj groaned “I said doctor”
“Oh nah that was just a phase” Everyone laughed
“It’s alright 2/3 isn’t bad” Aj spoke
“Okay now first we asked y/n what year you moved to the Uk”
“This was too easy” you said
“Yeah idk man” he paused “something like 2005”
You cheered “yes that’s what I said”
“Then we asked what year did you start YouTube”
“Bro she was literally in my first video so I’ll be more concerned if she doesn’t get it”
You just smiled
“It was 2015” and once again you cheered
“And the final question we asked was who is your celebrity crush”
“Y/n L/N”
“Do I even count as a celebrity?”
“You do now”
“She literally said Doja Cat” Chunkz shouted
“It was before you silly” Aj laughed
“So that’s a score of 4/6” Darkest spoke
Everyone clapped as you and Aj hugged
“Don’t underestimate us!”

DAY 6: COLLEGE AU
CLEMENT NOVALAK
TAG LIST:
@i-wish-this-was-me
@giada-chan
@havaneselover08
@fangirl125reader
@rheathesimp
@strangemaximoff
PAI’S WORDS: I actually went to uni/college for three years before becoming a florist and studied languages and history (for my French followers : la licence LLCER ANGLAIS ALLEMAND) and it was SO COOL ! So this is purely based on my experience with uni in France :)
Tumblr media
“Absolutely not.”
Marcus frowns disapprovingly as he fixes you with a glare before getting back to his notes. It’s 10 AM on a Friday and everyone is preparing for the start of exam season, your first exam being at 8AM on Monday which is clearly a heinous crime against students.
“I don’t see the problem, it’s a good plan !”
James snorts as he watches Marcus’ eyes roll and yours gleam just by thinking about your new idea. As mentioned before, exams season starts in three days, so why in the world would you think it’s ok to organize a barathon, a marathon of bars, this exact weekend ? Don’t get him wrong, he loves to party and loves his barathon even more, but he also loves the idea of NOT failing his exams and his year. You’re pretty studious too, usually, but ever since you’ve got into your head that you wanted to flirt with the student throwing parties left and right, you take every opportunities to go out and meet him. It’s quite funny to see, the usual shy and serious friend becoming a social butterfly when their lover boy comes around. Said man has noticed too, knowing you ever since your first year here and always noticing you in the corner of the lecture hall, intrigued by you for all those years. It might seem cliche, it IS cliche even, the “quiet person with popular person” trope, it sounds like a bad fanfiction and it makes your friends wheeze every time it’s mentioned, but no one can deny how well you two fit.
“Strangely enough I can see A LOT of problems with this plan, YN”
Your excited grin falls slightly as you grumble something under your breath before getting back to your notebook, getting back to the chapter you’re currently working on. Silence falls back between the three of you as you focus on your own notes, all of your studying habits coming back. Marcus taps the pages with his fingers slightly, creating a comforting beat while he bites on his lips. James shakes his legs despite himself, spinning his pen between two of his fingers. You bite the inside of your cheeks and play with your hair every two seconds, eyes going back and forth between your notes and your book. It stays like this for a while until the silence is broken by three chairs scraping next to them, your head snapping up to meet the intruders. Clement sits next to you, grinning sheepishly as he places his stuff on the table, opening his notebook at a random page before taking out a paper bag out of his backpack, sliding it towards you. You eye the bag carefully, opening it slightly and beaming when you notice your favorite snack inside of it, looking back at him.
“- Oh wow, thank you, Clement. How did you know it’s my favorite ?
- Well, I have my ways. I figured you needed it after studying all week.
- I’m the “ways” in case you were wondering.”
James bursts out in laughter at Marcus comment and sees Clement chuckling too, a crimson blush slowly making its way on his face while you’re already beet red. Arthur and Liam are laughing too, having settled on their seats at the same time as Clement, as they watch the flustered person trying to contain their emotions while still staring at their friend. After a few minutes, they all start their studying again, a serious silence falling over. Clement steals glances your way more often than he’d like to admit, barely concealing his smile as he scrutinizes the way your eyes squint ever so slightly whenever you think harder than usual, quickly jolting down words right after. You and him are in the same classes, both studying languages and their history while your friends all study different things that he doesn’t really care about. It’s quite funny to see you this serious now that he’s seen how you are outside of classes and with a little more alcohol in your blood, your contagious laughter resonating between the bar’s walls. He huffs out a quiet laugh before going back to his work, skimming over the pages about lPA and its importance.
“By the way, it’s still a big no for this weekend. If you want to see Clement that much, just go on a date or something.”
You were definitely going to strangle Marcus, you think to yourself as your friends laugh once again, glancing at Clement to see him already watching you with an amused grin.

Meet The Family: Part 2 - Jake "Hangman" Seresin
Tumblr media
Character(s): Jake "Hangman" Seresin x FlightAttendant!Reader Genre: Fluff but also Jake being touchy feely clingy horny Summary: Jake takes you to meet his family while you have a layover in Dallas. Only issue is he can't seem to keep his hands off of you whenever nobody is looking Author's Note: sorry this took so long I have been busy with uni. anywhays hope you enjoy! Part 1 | Masterlist
The next morning Jake had woken up early and made the two of you a small breakfast before you started to get ready to go to his parent's house that was 20 minutes outside of the city. While finishing your makeup Jake made his way into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around your waist and began pressing soft kisses on your neck. "Jake, not now." you said as you close your tube of mascara. "We can be quick." Jake whispered as he pulled you close to him. You set the mascara on the counter and turned around, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Jacob," you placed a soft kiss on his cheek "as much as we would both enjoy that, I think your mother would be a bit upset if we showed up late just because her son couldn't keep it in his pants." Jake let out a defeated sigh as his eyes looked you up and down. "You can't wear that sundress and expect me to not act like this, sweetheart."
Once the two of you ended up outside of him parents house the nerves set it. Once Jake parked and shut off the car he turned his head to look at you and gave you a comforting smile. "Hey, don't worry they'll love you. In fact, my mom already loves you she always asks about you." Jake said softly as he held your hand. "You talk about me that much huh?" you smiled at him as he nodded. "Well, you're the first person I have fallen completely head over heels for. Couldn't stop thinking about you since I first saw you, and, definitely couldn't stop talking about you once you agreed to go on a date with me." Jake admitted. Jake truly had a soft heart behind his cocky act and it definitely shocked you the first time you had seen the way he acted amongst his coworkers. Though he rarely pushed it too far, he was just the right amount of cocky to show he was confident in his skills as a pilot but not enough to seem like he thinks everything revolved around him. Even then he acted completely different when he was alone, or when he was with you. "Come on sweetie, my mom is looking at the car through the window and if we make he wait any longer she might explode." Jake laughed. He got out the car first and walked around to open your door, holding his hand out for you to hold which you gladly took.
The minute the two of you stepped foot into the Seresin household you were immediately being hugged by his mother who had a large smile on her face. "It's so good finally meet you sweetie. Jake has told me so much about you!" she pulled away from hugging you and moved to hugging her son. "It's nice to meet you as well Mrs. Seresin. Jake has also mentioned you a lot." you said. "Oh please don't be so formal Y/N just call me Grace." his mother said. "Now come on you two I made a lot of food for you to try." she continued as she dragged the both of you towards the kitchen.
As the day went on you learned more about the Seresin's and even got to see photos of Jake as a baby (some of which he immediately got embarrassed by like the ones of him as a toddler running around naked). Jake's father, Daniel, who was a retired Navy commander told you some of his own stories from when he was station where Jake is now and even offered to take you on a flight in his own personal plane next time you visited which you greatly appreciated.
Once it reached midday you found yourself separated from Jake and somehow shopping around in little locally owned stores in their town with Grace. "How about this dress sweetie? You think Daniel would like it, or is it too much?" she held up a simple pastel blue dress with white lace accenting it. "I think you'd look lovely in that, Grace. I'm sure he's love it." you said. As the two of you looked through other clothing she asked questions about you like "How long have you been a flight attendant?" "Have you met Jake's coworkers and friends?" "What kind of foods do you like?" and told some stories about herself. You learned she became a stay-at-home mother after finding out she was pregnant with Jake's younger sister, Angela, and that she used to be a nurse and met Daniel when he got injured near the hospital she was working at but she absolutely hated his cocky attitude when they had first met. Similarly to how Jake ended up with you, his father also would not stop until he got the girl. He found any reason to see her again and would purposely fall or fake injuries just to see her.
After dinner with his parents Jake had said the two of you should head back but his mother insisted you two stay the night stating "It's too dark. I don't want you driving this late, Jacob." so now the two of you laid on the bed in his childhood room. "So what did you and mom do when you were gone for 3 hours?" he said as he pulled your body closer to his. "She took me to some local shops and told me how she met your dad. She also told me about the time you tried to steal her car and ended up crashing it into the garage door." you told him. "I did NOT crash it into the garage door I just dented the front bumper!" he defended himself. He brushed some hair out of your face and smiled at you. "I'm glad you got to meet my parents today. They really like you, and, I already know my mom will always ask about you now." Jake said. You hummed in response. "Now, what if we continued what we started this morning, huh? You look really good in just my old naval academy shirt." Jake whispered, earning him a slap on the chest followed by you yelling "Jacob!" before the two of you laughed. "You really can't keep it in your pants for one day can you?" you said as you placed a kiss on his cheek. "Not my fault you look so good in my clothes darling." Jake said, pulling your body on top of his. "Go to sleep horndog. I'm all yours for the next two days I'm sure that will be enough time to satiate you then."

for the match-up even: (god I love these things hehe)
brief description: I like to draw and play videogames, love dark colors and the grunge aesthetic, I like to surround myself with people that are chill and non-judgmental, people who aren't boring and that are just kind haha, in terms of food I'm a big lover of meat and sweets -w-
I'm a lee leaning switch!
fandom: genshin impact ofccc
romantic relationship please 👉👈
I'd prefer male for gender to be matched up with:3
thanks in advance <333
SINNY-CHANNN OMG HIII 🥹🩷 I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE YOUR REQUEST IN MY ASK BOX!!! I must tell you, the character I matched you up with came to my mind almost effortlessly... idk why but I just thought "HIM." Period. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your match-up!! ❤️🍡 *some dango for you to eat while reading my little work*
🔮 For this event, I match you up with... ITTO
Tumblr media
🔮 Why did I choose him for you?
• Itto is the least judgmental person who ever walked on this planet • He's not the smartest, but he takes care of others in his own way (thinking about how he made everyone stop fighting during the Chasm quest) • Itto is a little (well... big actually) ball of sunshine, but his clothes are pretty dark... I have a feeling that you might like his style • I can see you tracing all his red lines just to find out if they're ticklish (spoiler: they are) • BUT... our favorite oni won't let it slide... prepare yourself to get wrecked, my dear • I think Itto is one of those people who get worried sick after they're done tickling the life out of you and become an anxious and agitated mess, which is fun to see, considering how careful he is to never overstep your boundaries • Like... you're fine but he's going around like Taz from Looney Tunes and bring you water, sweets and everything that might make you comfy • He would LOVE to play any kind of games with you... and he'd actually be a good match (unless you're playing trivia or strategy games) • He would shower you with food and then he'd eat together with you!! He'd take you around through the various festivals in Inazuma to make you try the best delicacies from the best stands • He'd introduce you to the gang as "the vice boss"... and everyone would call you that, except Shinobu. She'd quickly make friends with you and give you tips about how to survive in uni • Big tickle fights with the whole gang!! Although Itto would always be on your side hehe... you're his beloved after all • Dates with him would be romantic in their own way... nothing excessively sweet, but he'd do his best to make you feel loved and appreciated 24/7 (unless it's your anniversary... in that occasion he'll go all out with something so flashy that you almost die from embarrassment)
🔮 Tickle scenario "Oh and this is also good... and then we should go there! And we can't miss that ramen stand!" You barely managed to keep up with Itto's pace as he dragged you to every stand that was at the Irodori Festival.
You had already tasted soba, unagi chazuke, a portion of a so-called invigorating kitty meal, onigiri, katsu sandwich, an egg roll and an egg roll sushi and even some udon, and even though they were all small portions to just let you have a taste of everything, you were starting to feel quite full already. The problem was that Itto wasn't showing any sign of satiety yet!
"Itto, baby... don't you think we've already eaten enough..?" You tried to question him, but he just started rambling (loudly) about how you needed to try everything to enjoy the experience to the fullest. It was endearing to you how hyper he could get about the simplest things... and he had even managed to behave for a week just for you, to not ruin your festival experience! You really couldn't say no to him...
This is how you ended up lying down on the grass near the Statue of the Seven in Ritou, with your bellies about to burst but also with the widest smiles ever. "Did you have fun, Luv?" The oni asked you while staring into your happy eyes. "Yes... the food was amazing! And I loved the atmosphere, thank you" You replied enthusiastically, tired but ecstatic.
"Hell yeah! Even Kujou Sara was surprised by how nice I was behaving... maybe she'd become nicer if she found someone... not you, though! You're all mine~" He planted a big kiss on your cheek to emphasize his point. "Hush..." you manage to say as you felt your face getting a little hotter.
Even if he wasn't the smartest cookie around, Itto was extremely observant with you, and even in the weak light of the early evening he managed to notice the light shade of red invading your face.
"Huh? Are you getting hot? Is it too humid? Are you running a fever?" Well... he was observant, but he didn't exactly have Heizou's detective skills. "Drink this! It's refreshing and you'll feel better!" He shoved a bottle of dango milk in your hands and watched you expectantly as he waited for you to drink it.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked with such worried eyes that it flustered you even more. "Y-yeah... it was nothing, really..." You managed to stutter, but what you didn't expect was Itto connecting the dots.
"Wait! You were just flustered!!!"
He yelled it so loud that you tried to cover his mouth with your hands. "Hush..! Even Lady Guuji will hear you if you keep yelling like this..!" You whisper-yelled, but the oni had a smile even wider than before and a playful glint in his eyes... and you should've noticed.
"Aweee I have the cutest partner in the world!! Come here you!!" He quickly sat up and pulled you on his lap, and before you had the time to defend yourself or protest, five fingers found your tummy and started scribbling on it. "Awe... your giggles are so cute, Sinny~" He cooed while listening to your sweet laughter.
"Nahahahahehehe pfft- Ihihitto wahahait pleahahaseee..!" You squirmed in his lap, but he was too strong for you to get away. "Nope, no waiting. Now I wanna hear you laugh!" None of you two knew why, but your blushy face brought out Itto's playful side, and now there you were, squirming in his lap while he poked your tummy all over.
"Nohohohohooo" You squealed while kicking your feet in the air as if it could help you in any way. "Yehehehes!!" Your boyfriend mocked you without relenting even for a second. "Come on... you know how much I love your laughter, and take this as a revenge for this morning!"
Thinking about it, you shouldn't have tickled him awake that morning...
Knowing it was almost time to stop, the oni decided it was time for the grand finale and lifted up one of your arms while his free hand went to town on your now exposed armpit. "KYAHAHAHAHAHA NAHAHAT TEHEHEHEHEHE NOHOHOHOOOO" You yelled while laughing your head off.
Itto listened to your little howls (and even a couple of tiny snorts) and cherished every second of that moment, but he knew it was time to stop, which he immediately did and let you recover.
"So, did you have fun? It was quite the conclusion for our date, huh?" He asked you while smirking smugly. "Well..." You hesitated a little, because you wanted to act tough but you also didn't wanna lie to him, "well... I surely laughed a lot..." you mumbled. "Oh sure you did..." the white-haired guy chuckled knowingly as you let out a yawn.
"Ohoho... someone's getting tired after all that running around, eating and tickling hahaha" He said before getting up, and before you could do the same, you felt two strong arms wrap around you, one on your back and one under your knees.
"Aaand up you go!" The oni cheered while lifting you up as if you were a tiny feather and carrying you bridal style. "Come on, let's go home."

Flower Husbands Florist AU
have a flower husbands oneshot loosely based on this tumblr post :)
word count: 1228
full fic under the cut!!
It had been a long shift. Jimmy wasn't normally one to complain (he's lying about this) but he feels like he deserves it today. His boss had booked him in to make 20 flower crowns for a hen party happening tonight that he didn't find out about 'till this morning, he had couples in and out all day for valentines' flowers and had to do the displays for tomorrow. And no one else was working this week! What a joke.
He was slumped against the counter, face pressed to his palm and eyes fighting to stay open. He had 10 minutes 'till closing and was practically counting down the seconds. The flowers in the display case glistened against the rim lights pointed at them causing a ripple of light against the wall facing Jimmy. He should really turn them off. No one had come in for 20 minutes and it's not like anyone's gonna come in at quarter to 10-
“Oh thank god. I've been searching for a place still open.” A man entered hastily, the doorbell ringing as he did. Teal hair stuck to his forehead in clumps and eyeliner ran down his face. He put his collapsed umbrella onto the counter. “I need a bouquet to tell someone I hate them.”
“Hm?” Jimmy spoke- nearly asleep.
“It is valentine's day tomorrow, right?”
Jimmy sat back on the stool, trying to avoid the rainwater pooling near the cash register. “Yeah.“
”Okay, so I need, like, a reverse 'I love you' bouquet.“
Jimmy stared at the man. He sighed and pulled out his floriography book.
”Anything in particular you fancy?“
”Nah. You're the flower boy, anyway.“
Jimmy made a noise of disagreement but started flicking through the pages of the book anyway. “I might need a bit more context to pick the right thing.”
The man sighed. “It's gonna take a while, you sure?”
“Mhm.” Jimmy said, instinctively. He was still exhausted but this was more fun than sleeping.
“Well, tl;dr or whatever, My ex is in town. She still has a thing for me, and I don’t.
He stopped flicking through the pages. “That's... a story. Not normally what I make this time of year,”
“Yep. And I'm gay, which I don’t even think she knows yet.”
“Hm.”
”So. Flowers?“
Jimmy flicked through the pages briskly, scanning each page for something suitable. ”I'm intrigued now. How'd that all go down, then?“ He was never one for small talk.
”Well. We met in year 9 and dated that entire time 'til uni. She was getting fed up that we'd never done any of the romantic stuff our friends did. I genuinely had no clue that that was kinda strange, so I didn't see the problem. And before I knew it, she'd run off with the ex of my best friend. They weren't exes at the time, but trust me, after this it was fallout. I was angry, naturally, and she told me that it was my fault for not trying to fix our relationship before it got too bad. So, I broke it off. Hadn't seen her since.
"Until last week, when my friend told me she was in town. So I invited her round our house. Me and Cleo thought 'no harm done now. We're over it, we know why me and her were having problems, should be fine now'. Couldn't be farther from the truth. She comes round and immediately starts talking about how much she misses me. Says that now we're 'more mature' we can work it out like adults and that she still has feelings for me. Didn't even get to tell her I found out I was gay after I left her.”
The man had been looking at the displays while speaking, so he probably didn’t catch Jimmy’s jaw dropping before he could catch himself. He turned around to face him. “So, any good picks for the bouquet, then?”
Jimmy hesitantly flips to a page he dog-eared and turns it to face the stranger. They both move closer to the page to read it. ”Foxglove might be a good pick. 'Means insincerity. In older things it even means secrets and complicated situations, which seems fitting. And it's quite pretty, but that's more an aesthetic choice.”
“I like them.“ He stared up at Jimmy. Their faces were mere inches apart. His eyes were a light hazel with gold flecks nearly colour matched the piercings running down his ears. ”You alright?“
Jimmy blinked and moved back. ”Uhm, yeah. Sorry.“ He picked up the book and moved to the greenhouse door behind him. ”I've got a few picks that'll go great with the message. Should take, like, 20 minutes?“
”Okay. Thanks for doing this, by the way. I know it's, like, nearly ten right now,“
”No, don't worry, really. Uhm, can I get a name for the order?”
“Scott.”
Jimmy smiled as he spoke. “Scott. That name suits you.” He shut the door before Scott could respond.
The bouquet was placed on the counter with a thud, shaking Scott from his thoughts. The florist he was just thinking about stood with a smile. He got up and tried to shift his hair from his face (a pointless effort, he knew. Scott had checked how he looked in his phone camera while the guy was making his bouquet, and by god did he look dreadful. Make-up pouring down his face and clothes soaked through. Rained on just wasn't his look.) and walked towards the counter. ”Wow. These are beautiful.“
Scott wasn't lying. The foxgloves he'd recognised from earlier framed intricately placed white flowers. The vase the florist put them in was stunning too, glass patterns mirroring the stems of the flowers fractionally across its surface.
”Thank you. The purple are foxgloves, like I said, and meadowsweet is the white one. It means uselessness in floriography. Um, I would've put more flowers but I guess not a lot of people need 'I hate you' flowers.” He laughed awkwardly at that last bit.
His laugh was nice. It was higher pitched than normal, but fit him perfectly. Scott smiled along, pretending like he wasn't just staring at him.
Scott paid for the flowers (Jimmy gave him money off, not that he would find out until months later) and picked up his bouquet.
”Wait. Uhm,“
Scott turned to face the florist. ”Hm?“
”I have, uh, something else to give you,“ He held out a singular poppy with a slip of paper wrapped around it. ”'s just- Don't take it if you don't wan' it, but-“
Scott took the poppy before he finished speaking. He unravelled the piece of paper and read it carefully. ”'Jimmy'. That name suits you, you know.“
He blushed and turned away from him. ”Aw. Don't use my own words against me!“ He feigned anger but was smiling too much for it to have any bite.
Scott put the piece of paper with Jimmy's number in his pocket and took the poppy and tucked behind his ear. ”Thank you, Jimmy. I'll call later to tell you how the flowers went down.“
”Don't spare any details, I'm properly invested.“
Scott laughed as he opened the door. The moonlight had illuminated the wet concrete. When had it stopped raining? He couldn't have been in there that long. Scott turned to face Jimmy. “See you later, Jimmy.”
”You too.“

tl;dr: I don't have a conclusion. Just lots of love and sympathy.
We have so little info to understand why Chay decided not to go through with his uni exams.
Oh yes, he might be just an ungrateful little shit. Let's hear it for the boy, tho.
At the very beginning, when the situation got tough, Chay asked Porsche to sell the house and move somewhere cheaper. He also suggested, that it's not the time for getting education.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It seems to me that Chay doesn't think that his education is a form of "fighting". He's wrong, but Porsche didn't tell him enough. That unresolved issue still stands many months later.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I believe Chay when he says that he likes music. I believe him when he said that he chose Antranameka because his celebrity crush is studying there. Why Chay is making such a rough decision? I don't have an answer satisfying in its fullness. Just these thoughts.
Nampheung told very very young Porsche that he mustn't die before Chay will finish his education. Porsche's dream was to fulfill that request. Many sacrifices were made, Chay knows. Chay doesn't want sacrifices from him. He wants piece and love and his brother alive and near. He can make sacrifices too.
Then Chay comes to the point where in several days period he learns that Porsche is in grave danger. That his first love was lying about loving him back (that's what concerns Chay the most about Kim). That his life now is changed beyond recognition. He needs strength and time to regroup. Chay still doesn't have a confidant, a friend who can help him. Ohm is trying, bless him. Ohm is helping a bit with the heartbreak. But since Chay says later that Porsche doesn't have to tell him all and Chay himself doesn't tell Porsche all of his concerns, Chay doesn't consider Porsche as support, but rather as a part of the problem. He must support Porsche now. Just on his own terms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chay starts behaving like Porsche when he has problems. He turns to the vices, he changes his look and he... sacrifices? He makes decisions for himself. Maybe for the first time in his life he makes such an important decision as he did about the uni.
It wasn't about the money for Chay. It was symbolic from the start. To help his brother by being good Nong and good student. But did Chay think that it was a fair trade? He is the smart one. He grew up and saw that it was unfair for Porsche.
I never forget the first thing Porsche said about Kim, when Pete told him as little as "Khun Kim moved out a long time ago".
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will talk about it later, hopefully, when I finish that big long-ass post about Kim, Korn and conspiracy that eats my draft folder like a bunch of termites.
But Porsche. Porsche is opposed to that. He doesn't want to be an egoist. He is responcible, he is a good son. It is cultural thing too, which I'm only now learning, so I hope I understand this enough not to make grave mistakes in my conclusions.
So, Porsche doesn't like egoists. Does Chay count himself as one if he let Porsche do such awful things for him like being in mortal danger? I think he does. When Porsche made stakes so much higher and didn't even tell Chay, all bets were off.
In the end (of the series) Porsche didn't change anything from this drastic situation Chay found himself after the kidnapping. So the changes were on Chay then. Chay is no longer trusts Porsche with his problems (he didn't in the past too, I guess, but there were little kid problems which Porsche didn't need a permission to solve). I guess there had to be a confrontation between Kittisawat brothers at the beginning of s02, where Chay's uni application would be the cause, but the reason would be elsewhere.
Well, we'll never know. I just think that Chay believed that he was solving something. Sacrificing his dreams to get off of his brother's back. Maybe he planned to run away, who knows. Or to join Porsche in that fighting on equal footing. One thing is clear to me: Chay didn't want a normal more or less safe life while his brother would be risking his. Yes, Porsche had other reason named Kinn. But what did Chay really thought of Kinn? Chay answered Kinn's questions, he tried to be friendly, but it was romantic love which tied Porsche to Kinn and romantic love just bit Chay on the throat. If Porsche is happy with Kinn, so be it. Chay thinks he can take care of himself so his brother wouldn't have to. Porsche was his age and supported them both. And Chay wants, Chay...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And he still is barely 19. Kim reminded him that his decisions can have severe consequences. But the thing is, you can't be told about it. The only way out is through. Chay went that way.
He threw everything he loved in the trash (well, the guitar and all the WIK merch didn't fit but it's the thought that counts :)), because pursuing it makes him an egoist (and Kim talked about sacrifices too, they both were similar in the way that their older brothers let them pursue their dreams by cost of their own (and it's Kinn who let Kim have his long leash, Korn didn't let Kim shit, and Kinn is a hostage in exchange)) and is an empty canvas now. His talking shirt is giving us a hint.
