Ace - Loves FPS - He plays games like Overwatch, TF2, L4D and Dead by Daylight. - He enjoys shoot first ask questions later type games. - DPS for life. - Borderlands is also a game he likes. - Saints Row, GTA, Duke Nukem. DOOM. Anything along these lines. - Action with a dose of horror element. - Explosions and fire are a huge bonus. Sabo - Sims - but on chaos mode. Jinbei - Games you can farm and fish on. - Also racing/driving games. - Is a beast on Mario Cart Robin - Fantasy games like Skyrim. - Indie horror like FNAF, SCP, Zoochosis, I have no mouth, and yet I must scream. - All the really intense horrors like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Condemned. - Just anything with awful, horrible monsters and lore, and she is all over it and thinks the monsters are cute.

Corazon - Candycrush mom. Kid - GTA, Bulletstorm, the most bloody and violent games you can get your hands on. - Ones that are banned in countries. - Wolfenstein. -  Also partial to the Guitar Hero/Rockstar type games. Killer - Cooking Mama - Guitar Hero/Rockband Marco - He doesn’t game alot, but if he sees an old-school arcade, he’ll go and play things. - House Of The Dead, Packman, Space Invaders, Time Crisis. He often gets dragged to the arcade by Ace.

This has probably been asked before, before I’m really curious given yours takes place alongside DP! What is the generals reaction and overall thoughts to trainers with legendary Pokémon?

Whether they’re like Lakota and just… befriended a Mewtwo, so it’s less trainer Pokémon and more a friendship, to actual trainer and Pokémon! Where they battle and go on all sorts of goofy adventures!

Also is there a different reaction to let’s say someone having a Latias, a legendary that’s more “common” and reproduces. To something like a reshiram where there may only be the one? ;0

I go with the personal headcanon that the bigger legendaries like Dialga, Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre, etc. who are classified as gods in the pokemon universe, there can only be one of each (Arceus definitely, cause he's literal God lol). Whereas with the smaller legendaries like Latias, Latios, Lugia, Celebi, etc. there can be multiple. I've never delved too much into the topic, but I'm sure there has to be some form of hierarchy or status ranking amongst the legends.

That being said, it's considered unwise to catch the higher legendaries because they have roles that keep nature and the world itself balanced, so catching them can possibly disrupt that. But with the smaller legendaries, there are likely more occurrences of trainers catching them. It's probably still a rare occurrence to see a traveling trainer walking around with a Latias following them or something though. So naturally, people's reactions would be to gawk or stare in awe. XD

Ohh yeah, Your eyes are not deceiving you, Ash Ketchum has changed.... for the next Pokemon Anime vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/po… when Sun & Moon finally ends and the Clone's Storyline finally ends, This is the Real Ash Ketchum, And he has been altered to a Degree, And it's sort of a Mix between XY ash and the Sun and Moon version, And.... to be honest.... I do like this new look for him, In-Universe Its possible how Ash altered it this loo may have been the Result of all 55 of the Pretty Cure All Stars inner light changing him.... At first I was afraid Ash was never gonna return in the Anime, But his Japanese Voice Actress put a rest to that claiming his Adventures is not over, It's amazing how much he's changed i.imgur.com/e9cnXq9.jpg

Also... with This new change of the Character and he's' still the same Age as he was in 1997, It's given me the opportunity to proceed with the Cure Master concept with Ideas from the Blueprints fav.me/ddcv5f6 But in the Blueprints as I would call the original Concept, the costume looked too familiar with his Kanto Costume which was the Idea with the Gold symbols of each of the Precure teams from the All Stars Pantheon, So I took some big libraries with the concept and came up with a Costume that's fits in line, His Cure Master Costume is a Set of Precure Armour that takes some inspiration from the Male PreCures from Hugtto PreCure, Even Jonathan Klondike AKA Joe Okada's suit of Armour, I did keep the Symbols of the Respected PreCure teams, They are Engraved in the Armour, In an edition, Ash now has a Sword called Blade of a True Pokemon Master and a Shield titled PreCure's loving Protection... if you look closely to it, You'll see the Angle figures on it are modelled in the forms of Nagisa Misumi AKA Cure Black and Honoka Yukishiro AKA Cure White, He's Research book is now complete with info linking the PreCures with there Respected Zodiacs, And he also has that Shard of the Miracle Star still giving off ever as you can see, Pikachu now possesses a Cloak of Levitation... Which Heartcatch PreCure use... Here’s the Cartoon Network schedule for Monday, November 1 to Sunday, November 7, 2010.

First off, let's talk how many shows there are on the schedule. 34 SHOWS are on the schedule. in 2023, CN only airs about 13 shows a week (not including ACME Night or Cartoonito, but definitely better than how it was back in 2021). But let's take into account that the schedule is broken down into 4 sections at this time:

Section 1: Weekday Morning Anime

This was where the anime (Bakugan, Beyblade, Pokemon) aired, might also include some action cartoons (Ben 10, Hero: 108, Hot Wheels) aired.

Section 2: Old Cartoons during Mid-morning/Early Afternoon

You'll probably remember in your youth, when you were "sick", These shows aired during that time, semi-recent cartoons that ended aired at the time (Lazlo, KND, Gym Partner, Chowder), some imports (JT, Garfield), and Tom and Jerry.

Section 3: After School Cartoons

I would consider 2pm the start of the After-School hours, although some schools don't let kids out until 3pm. Some imports (JT, League of Super Evil), some older, but beloved, toons (Billy & Mandy, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Courage), and the 6pm hour was a rotating slot (This month had live action shows at the 6pm slot) that would be followed by some primetime shows, or Garfield.

Section 4: Primetime

This was the gem for CN at the time. Mondays had the newest hits, notably Adventure Time and Regular Show, other new toons like MAD and the underrated short-lived Robotomy, Canadian toons like Johnny Test and Total Drama World Tour, and reruns of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays were the days that they aired Live Action shows, Tuesday was the more serious side (Tower Prep, made by Batman writer Paul Dini), while Wednesday had the more wacky side (as in it felt like TruTV's live action of the time) of Live Action Shows (Destroy Build Destroy, Dude, What Would Happen?, and Hole in the Wall, the one that had the families, not the FOX version). Listen, I know Live Action didn't belong on CN, but I was 5, so I remember them fondly.

Thursday was a repeat day for Monday, as they previously had a new Thursday night block before Mondays were the night. but Friday is where all the new Action shows aired. Shows like Generator Rex, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Star Wars: the Clone Wars, and Sym-Bionic Titan all aired on this night.

If you missed anything on Friday (besides Batman, but who didn't watch Brave and the Bold on Fridays), they all aired on Saturday Morning, in between anime like Pokemon, Beyblade, and Bakugan. Saturday also had a couple Pokemon episodes that led to a Pokemon Movie.

Speaking of Movies, Cartoon Network had them, Saturdays at 8pm is when the Flicks aired. This week, Flubber reran. (the movie with Robin Williams playing a Scientist who creates some Flying Rubber), that would later air next day at 7pm.

Also, yes, this was when back when CN had the 9pm hour. CN had that hour up until the next month. I really miss primetime CN, and how it was scheduled like this.

Pokemon Horizons Episode 32 Review - Lapras and Lucius

I’m a bit divisive over this episode, honestly. On one hand, there are good aspects of this episode that I liked. On the other hand, there are things that are nagging at me a lot. Sit down, relax and let me explain the good and the bad of this episode.

The good was the entire Ludlow sequence. That man is a crazy sailor and knows how to pilot a ship. This makes sense as the Brave Asagi used to be his small fishing boat, after all. Seeing Chansey rolling around and Murdock sliding on each side was a treat to see. I do hope that a Ludlow backstory episode will be shown one day; I’d love to learn what sort of person he was in the past for him to be just a regular fisherman now. The part where his Quagmire used Surf was great. I think the last time I saw Surf used efficiently was back at the Tag-Team Tournament in the DP era. 

I think the part where Diana asks Liko and Roy whether Lapras is good or bad for stealing food was nice. To humans, what Lapras is doing might be bad, but for Lapras and its friends, they’re doing it to survive. Good and bad are not applicable in Pokemon’s standards. It’s either survive or die. I do like that sort of nuanced writing.

I also liked the part where Lucius finally makes his debut. His face is fully shown and he looks like a male version of Liko in a way. The memories his Pokemon have of him end with him going to Rakua and promising that he won’t die and would come back—but he never did. That was why Lapras was upset; that was also why Galarian Moltres was upset at the time. It just builds up the mystery behind what Rakua is and why Lucius never came back. Regarding Lucius, he’s either a direct ancestor of Liko, or related to by another of Lucius’s family. He’s voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, who also voices Dot’s Quaxly.

For the bad parts of the episode, I do feel like the whole Lapras portion was a bit hastily written. Lapras did fight off the Rising Volt Tacklers by freezing their boat, but afterwards, Liko, Roy and Friede just showed up at its base and after some convincing and seeing the flashback with Lucius, it goes along with Liko. I honestly thought it would be more reluctant than this. I do feel like these hero Pokemon go along with Liko so quickly that it doesn’t feel unearned. Well, in the case of Arboliva, they helped out with the forest, which earned its trust. But for Galarian Moltres and Lapras, it just meets Terapagos, thinks about Lucius and then tags along. It makes me wonder if there will be a hero Pokemon that will be harder to convince to come later on. I’d like to see that, honestly. I want to see multiple attempts of the group trying to convince a Hero Pokemon to come with them, but they are so doubtful of their intentions.

Though, I do admit that giving them food was the best thing to convince Lapras to join. I just want to know how Lapras ended up in that situation; did it get those scars before or after its awakening? Since Horizons focus more on the people part of the Pokemon world rather than the Pokemon, I guess Lapras’s scars will remain a mystery.

The Terapagos’s adventure segment has the little turtle explore the basement of the ship where Fuecoco and the other wild Pokemon sleep. It has cute interactions with all of them but Fuecoco especially. It’s nice to see Terapagos interact with the starters but still try to maintain their personalities.

Now that Shiny Rayquaza has shown up, I do wonder what’s going to happen. The next episode’s preview has it that Amethio is fighting the dragon with Ceruledge; all I know is that Rayquaza is going to wipe the floor with Ceruledge. It was nice knowing you, Ceruledge. What are your thoughts on this episode?

Was Pokemon XY and XYZ made to make up for the previous season's faults.

As you guys know, XY and XYZ are the most well liked Seasons of the pokemon anime. It is very often ranked #1 on most lists that rank pokemon seasons from worst to best. And there are several videos talking about why it is the best Pokemon season. However, I always found it a little ironic that the supposedly best Pokemon season came after the supposedly worst pokemon season that being BW. So in this post I will see how some things in XY was done in contrast to how it was done in BW and other seasons as well. I will also be sharing some of my thoughts as well.

I want to start off with Ash Ketchum himself. In BW and even in previous seasons, Ash always seemed to show some signs of immaturity. In OS he was an inexperienced trainer who made impulsive decisions. In AG while he had a little more experience, he was still quite cocky and impatient when it came to gym battles. He also still seems to make impulsive decisions in AG. I don't remember much about DP Ash since that was the series I paid the least amount of attention to but did seem to be even more experienced in DP but still showed little signs of immaturity. And then we have BW. This is the season that fans say Ash was at his worst when it came to competence and maturity. Here in the beginning, he seems to have lost a lot of the maturity and competence he had built up from all the previous seasons. This really upset older fans and I will say that if you go on forums or other sights of people talking about disliking Best Wishes, Ash's lack of maturity and competence is a lot of times the first reason people list. Obviously resetting Ash was not a good move on the creators part. However, In XY, we would see a huge change in Ash Ketchum. He became wayyy more mature, more serious, looked older, and more competent in battling. So as you guys guessed, XY Ash became a fan favorite among fans pretty quickly. People to this day consider XY to be where Ash was at his best. So it is very possible that Ash in XY was made the way he was to make up for how his behavior in Best Wishes.

Now let's talk about the traveling companions. So in Best Wishes, we have Iris and Cilan as the friends who accompany Ash. Iris is a wild child who aspires to become a dragon master while Cilan is a cook and an A Class Pokemon Connoisseur. In XY, we have Serena who has a crush on Ash and is a Pokemon Performer, Clemont who is a shy and geeky inventor, and finally Bonnie who is Clemont's cute and spunky little sister. On the surface, both sets look equally likeable. However, the two sets were received very differently by fans. I'm going to get into the female companions first. Iris when she first debuted was very disliked by fans. Mainly because of the catchphrase she would say to Ash at times. She was also disliked for the lack of dragon types on her team, and her sometimes hypocritical behavior. However, she was also very outgoing, confident, adventurous, and a pretty competent battler. The difference between her and Serena is night and day. Serena instantly became a fan favorite soon after her feelings for Ash were revealed. She was very gentle, sweet, sensitive, and girly. I do think it's possible that Serena was given a more gentle and girly nature to make up for Iris's wild behavior but I think her crush on Ash was just fanservice in general. Now for the male companions, Cilan and Clemont both have their geeky moments with Cilan getting over excited over subway trains and Clemont getting excited about one of his inventions and then it explodes. I did notice that Clemont seemed to be a bit calmer when it came to his geekiness and he seemed to get a little more development than Cilan. But I think they are similar when it comes to their character flaws so I don't think Clemont was made to be a direct improvement over Cilan. Bonnie I think was made to be an improvement over Max for sure. She was seemingly less annoying and got along better with Clemont than Max did with May. It is also to be noted that the XY gang got into wayy less arguments than the past travel groups have. So overall, The XY companions are an general improvement of past companions.

Now let's talk about the rivals. I definitely think that Alain and Sawyer was definitely supposed to be an improvement over Trip and Cameron. Trip's cockiness drove fans the wrong way same with Cameron's stupidity. Fans were also outraged that Ash lost to Cameron in the Unova league. Alain and Sawyer were definitely more well liked. Sawyer got a lot more development than Trip and Unlike Cameron, Alain was introduced well before the league and was more serious and smart. Now the side rivals are a slightly different story. Tierno was a decent rival but Trevor not so much. Stephan and Bianca in Best Wishes are overall decent characters. I think that Stephan and Tierno are equally good rivals for Ash. Both had interesting personalities and ways of battling. But Stephan was definitely better than Trevor for sure. I think the only interesting thing about Trevor was his Mega Charizard Y. I think Tierno was an improvement over Bianca but Trevor wasn't. So the secondary rivals overall are 50/50. The companions rivals are also a different story. These rivals are complicated because neither sets are well liked by fans. Serena's rivals Shauna, Miette, and Nini are disliked for being boring and not fleshed out enough while Iris's rival Georgia, and Cilan's rival Burgundy are disliked for their annoying and immature personalities, and lack of development. This one is also a 50/50 since While Shauna, Miette, and Nini are more tolerable and pleasant to watch. Georgia and Burgundy are more entertaining and interesting characters. Both sets have issues that are similar. Burgundy and Nini have really low win rates and both are put through constant misfortune. And Georgia and Miette both say things to their rival to tick her off, Miette with Serena's crush on Ash and Georgia with Iris's lack of dragon types. Overall the rivals in XY and in BW are 50/50 when compared.

My thoughts: while XY was supposedly better than BW. I will always prefer BW to XY any day. I just think that XY is too serious and mature for me. BW might have been better written but at least I felt some charm watching it. The characters in BW are so colorful and entertaining to watch while in XY, a lot of the characters were just kind of boring to me. I think BW deserves more appreciation and I know I have said that many times but it does. It's the truth. All in all, BW is better than XY and that is my opinion.

another shigesato essay for the “what was gary’s point of asking ash that question?” + other ppl saying gary’s appearance was rather pointless + other misunderstandings of this final episode and gary’s final appearance. 

well for the simplest reasoning, gary has always known what a pokemon master was. and he has always been guiding ash to it.  

ash has never necessarily spoken or fully expressed about what a pokemon master is to him, why he would want to become it, and gary has been there from the beginning (swear i’m broken record to discourses involving shigesato lmaoo) as ‘pointless’ as it seemed, those three seconds developed ash into a bigger person by the end of this final episode. 

ash has always trained, and battled in order to achieve his dream also intersecting with defeating leon. and ash has known that being a good trainer; lead to his actual win towards leon or any league faced in his journey. 

elaborating into my initial statement of this blog post, gary has always known the right key to make ash realize what a pokemon master was. in AG on road to DP ash win the battle frontier and reunited with gary soon after. this being a moment where ash; not being at the level of development and knowledge felt cocky, and quite over the top with his win thinking it was a sight of saying he could defeat gary or anyone he faced. because of this win. 

gary however still defeated him in this battle and after it and i quote he said “hey ash, it’s great you win the battle frontier but that doesn’t mean you can relax, there’s all sorts of tough pokemon in the sinnoh region that you don’t even know about yet. believe me, the world is a big place.”

this exactly paralleling to what ash described what a pokemon master is to him with “I wanna have lots more adventures, and meet more pokemon” + “i wanna make friend with all the pokemon in the world. That’s gotta be what it means to be a pokemon master.” 

gary has always known what a pokemon master truly was, he was/has always tried directing ash to it, testing and provoking him to those heights. 

and this final episode just truly is a masterpiece because ash finally has realized what a pokemon master is, and off of gary’s guidance.

because the world is a big place, and gary is the reason the line is what it is. shigesato is such a masterpiece ong

Something I wanted to explain that I don’t know if the Pokémon fandom is familiar with.  OK, if you’re like me, then you probably have seen the Pokemon’s YT channel upload clips from the second season, “Adventures in the Orange Islands”. But instead of putting the title of said series, they used the third season’s title, “Pokemon: The Johto Journeys”. 

Now, you’re probably wondering, “Why would they put the Johto Journeys title instead of Orange Islands?” Well, luckily for you, I have the answer!

Back in the early 2010s, if you looked up “Pokemon: The Johto Journeys.” on Pokémon.com, (the newer version when the DP TV series was airing Shinnoh League Victors during that time), the last 11 Orange Islands episodes are in the list:
