There in her neighborhood

It had been a difficult week.

She'd just been praying

Asking God, for some kind of relief.

Then she looked up and happened to see

Another low down, no account thief.

She got up, back on her feet

She stood and watched in disbelief.

He was stealing and taking

From those in desperate need.

That family didn't have much

They had several children to feed.

She became angry

Watching the mother plead.

The mother was obviously upset

Frightened, frail and weak.

Life was hard enough

It was already looking rather bleak.

Now the thief was leaving them with nothing

No food for them to eat.

So she quickly dropped

Back down to her knees

She began to call out to God and weep

She begged for God to intervene.

Then, what do you know

The thief's phone began to ring.

Suddenly, he had to flee.

Thankful the neighbor was there to intercede

Thank God for those that pray and believe.

I have to tell the truth. God is truth and I want you to know because I want us all to win! I want all of us to make our way in through the narrow gate where we can live forever in a place no evil can dwell. Only God can give us that. I want your name to be written in the lambs book of life. I want God to say yes I know you not to say depart from me I never knew you.

I may have written about this before but I will never stop telling the story. The day I got saved my pastor said to me what can I do for you? Filled with anxiety I told him I believed in God but I didn’t know God. I said I want to know God. I really thought I was asking something of him that really wasn’t possible boy was I so wrong. That day he introduced me to God. What I realized as time went on it was all set up. It was a divine appointment by God. By his spirit Jesus was calling me to him. I was in a bad place and seeking him for help. I stopped everything I was doing wrong and started doing everything right. I was praying and fasting, listening and seeking. With that said he led me right to the man that introduced me to God. Pastor Jerry told me exactly what I needed to do. It was a powerful day!
