A general PSA, don't take my art, any of it, including the shitty goofy memes I make, without credit.
Don't take my art and then give credit. You ask first. You ask to use my art and then give credit. This applies to pfps, posts, etc. Reblogging is appreciated and beloved. Saving to send to friends or whatever is fine. Hell even a discord pfp is fine idc. But do not take anything of mine for your social media platform without asking me

curious on how to thank your number 1 fan? that's simple. just give them a ring, your family name, and you're all good to go.
Tumblr media
Oikawa Tooru
You screamed on top of your lungs as your boyfriend, Oikawa Tooru, managed to get another perfectly landed spike.
People were roaring, drums were beating and the players were beyond exhausted but not once did their defense nor offense falter. Every spike, every block and every drop was worth the point. With their adrenaline putting them on top of their game, both teams played as if their life depended on it.
And in the end, Oikawa's team managed to secure their victory.
With a giant smile on his face, Oikawa searched the crowd as soon as their winning point was received, and despite the number of people shouting and cheering for his name, yours was only one he could hear perfectly.
There you were, in the middle of the crowd, wearing his spare jersey while holding a handmade poster of his perfectly written name.
The sight of you brought him a lot memories and he can't help but thank god for giving him the opportunity of meeting you, and at this moment, he knew that this was it.
This was the perfect time and there's no way he's going to let it pass.
After shaking each other's hand, Oikawa quickly made his way to the back of the gym. He took a quick shower, changed into some fresh clothes and with shaky hands, took the purple box he had in his bag.
He made his way back to the court where he was instantly crowded with the media. Flashes of lights surrounded him and several microphones were almost shoved at his face.
With a chuckle, Oikawa scratched the back of his head and tightened his grip on the box he was holding.
"Mr. Oikawa, you were amazing back there. You seemed almost unstoppable. What drived you to perform at the best of your game today?" one reporter asked.
Out of all the questions from the interviewers, that was the one that caught his attention. Turning to face the said reporter, he took the microphone which made the reporter blush immensely.
"Well, of course, I always do my best. I'm always the best," he said which earned a chuckle from the other reporters. "But since you're asking what drived me to be at my top performance, I'd say that it was probably this person-"
You squealed as Oikawa tugged at your hand, effectively pulling you out of the crowd and to his side. You blushed at the action and hid your face to his chest in embarrassment, his hand immediately rubbing circles on your back as he grinned.
"Sorry, guys. It seems like my dear y/n-chan is still quite camera shy."
You grunted against his chest and lightly hit his arm, a quiet mumble of "shut up," slipping past your lips.
"But seriously, out of everyone that cheered for me, this person right here-" Oikawa paused for a moment, his hand angling your face to look up at him before he continued, "-was the one whose cheers never failed to reach me, and since we're already here, I want to take the opportunity to ask them a very important question."
Murmurs filled the court as the star player went down on his knee and looked at you with a nervous smile. There, in front of you, was Oikawa Tooru holding a ring with hope in his eyes.
You felt your eyes tearing up and you instinctively brought a hand to your lips. "Tooru..." you whispered with a shaky voice.
"Y/n-chan, you've been my number one supporter since highschool. Don't you think it's about time you get promoted?" he said with a teasing voice, "I can still even remember the way you fainted when I accidentally aimed a ball towards the stand and hit your stomach. God, as rude as it may sound right now, I'll never regret and forget that day. I mean, how can I? Iwa-chan scolded me for the whole day and ordered me to apologize to your fan group," Oikawa added with a fond smile as if he was envisioning the situation inside his mind.
"You didn't leave when I was at my lowest point, but instead stayed beside me when almost everyone had their backs turned against me. You were there in every matches we won, in every matches we lost to, and in every milestone that I got. You accepted the challenges of being in a distance relationship with me despite the doubts, insecurities and countless possibilities surrounding us. Heck, you even followed me here in Argentina after you graduated." With his free hand, Oikawa wiped the tears now trailing down his cheek, his voice becoming shaky with every passing second. "You were always there and I don't know what I'd do if I never have met you. So now, I'm asking you, can you not only be my number one supporter but also my wife?"
You instantly nodded your head, your figure now trembling as you cried out of happiness. "Yes, yes," you answered repeatedly.
With a relieved sigh, Oikawa slipped the ring on your finger and stood up. He enveloped you in his arms, burrying his face to the side of your neck as he tightened his embrace. "Thank you. I love you so much, baby. I promise I'll be the best husband. I won't let you down," he murmured against your skin before pulling away to stare at your eyes. "I love you."
You leaned to his hand when he cupped your cheeks, eyes almost closing at the soothing feeling of his touch. "I love you, my Tooru."
Your lips slowly met each other's. Your arms encircling his neck while his arms snaked around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
And as the flashes of cameras captured this moment, Tooru thanked his lucky stars for bringing you to him.
Tumblr media
Bokuto Koutaro
Bokuto heaved out a relieved sigh as he stepped inside your apartment. Making sure to close the door behind him, he carefully made his way to the bedroom where his face immediately lit up at the sight of you sleeping while wearing one his shirts.
He placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before heading to the shower since he didn't want to go to bed smelling like "sweat and rubber" as what you like call it.
With his head casted downwards, he allowed the water to drip down his body, a pleasant feeling enveloping him at the feel of the hot water relieving his tense muscles. Bokuto then noticed his wedding ring which he forgot to take off before he entered the shower. Well, it's not like he wanted to take it off in the first place anyway.
As he stared at the ring in his hand, he couldn't stop the fond smile from making its way to his face. Several scenarios started playing in his mind but the one he always loved getting back to was the day he first met you.
-
"Cheer up Bokuto-san," Konoha said as he gave Bokuto a pat on the back.
The team have been trying to cheer Bokuto up for almost half an hour now. The white haired male was currently seated in between two narrow walls, his hair casted downwards and a pout playing on his lips.  "I don't wanna," he mumbled childishly before looking away.
"What happened?" Akaashi, who was still panting, asked as soon as he entered the gym.
Konoha crossed his arms over his chest, giving a quick glance at Bokuto before shifting his gaze to Akaashi. "He's been like that since we started the second set of the practice match. He said that he can't spike anymore unless its you who's going to toss for him," Konoha answered with a frustrated groan. "We did everything we can. The rest is up to you."
Akaashi nodded in understanding before making his way to their captain. "Bokuto-san, let's go. Something came up so I was late but I'm here now. I'll toss for you so can you cheer up now?"
As Bokuto was about to answer, a sudden yell echoed throughout the whole gymnasium.
"Cheer up Bokuto senpai! You're the best captain and ace so please don't give up! You can do it!"
It was a feminine voice. A feminine voice yet loud enough for everyone to hear.
Bokuto looked at the bleachers and immediately spotted your figure. He can't help but grin at your determined look, you had a big smile on your face and a poster in your hand despite the game not being an official match.
Everyone was in awe as they watched their captain stood up, a sudden boost of confidence enveloping him as he puffed out his chest. "Hey, hey, hey!" he exclaimed with a booming voice, his hand pointing towards your direction before he flashed an almost award winning smile.
That was the first time they witnessed their captain cheering up because of someone that wasn't Akaashi.
From that day on, Bokuto would always scan the crowd and look for you, and not once have you ever failed in showing up.
It wasn't long then when the two of you finally talked, thanks to Akaashi's efforts. It was actually Akaashi who first invited you personally to watch one of their official matches.
Bokuto couldn't do it because despite his personality, he would always feel his panic rising at thought of inviting you himself. So, the solution? Whine continuously to Akaashi until he gives up and do it for him. Fortunately, it worked.
Everything went smooth sailing after that.
But even if your relationship with each other progressed, you still remained as his number 1 fan. You would still make posters and give him gifts everytime they win. In exchange, Bokuto would always do his best and give you the biggest hug as soon as each matches finish.
A few years forward, Bokuto became an official player of the MSBY black jackals. You were the first person he celebrated it with and the person who encouraged him to continue playing in order to achieve his dreams.
You became his anchor and his strength, the person he would run to whenever he was doubting himself and everytime he needed someone to hold him.
It was then during their victory party against the Adlers when Bokuto finally realized that you were really the one for him. As he watched you dance and laugh with his teammates, he got the feeling that he shouldn't let you go anymore.
You were it for him.
-
"I was looking for you," you said with a pout as you balanced yourself on your boyfriend's arm, your vision hazy and voice slurry due to the alcohol in your system.
Bokuto tightened his hold on your waist, his eyes scanning over your drunk figure as you basically clung to him like a baby. "Sorry, baby. I had to go buy something real quick, couldn't stop myself."
"Mhmm," you hummed, obviously not getting anything from what he said. "Carry me, please... Wanna go home."
Without any objections, Bokuto leaned down to scoop you in his arms and then placed a kiss on the tip of your nose before carrying you all the way to the car.
When you woke up, the smell of pancakes was the first thing you noticed. You stood up and padded your way to the kitchen where you saw Bokuto cooking with his back turned against you.
One of your eyebrows shot up as you heard him grumbling something inaudible. Silently, you sneaked your way to him and suddenly wrapped your arms around him from the back.
Bokuto jumped up in surprise before turning around. He quickly covered your eyes as he said in a panic voice, "Baby! Don't look at the pancake yet, okay? Go take a seat. I'm still not done."
"Hmm, you seem suspicious but alright," you answered with his hand still covering your eyes. You pouted your lips and smiled when you felt him giving you a short kiss before guiding you to the table.
Once he was finished, you rose an eyebrow at the nervous look on his face while holding the plate filled with pancakes. "You okay, baby?" you asked in concern.
Your boyfriend only nodded before carefully placing the stack in front of you.
A small flower was neatly placed on the side but what caught your attention was the message written out of chocolate syrup on top of the pancake.
MARRY ME?
"Kou?" you whispered before taking your eyes off your breakfast.
What you saw next was enough to bring tears to your eyes.
Because as soon as you looked at him, Bokuto went on his knee and opened a small box, revealing an expensive ring that you'll soon be wearing. "I'm sorry if I only wrote marry me on the pancake. It wasn't big enough to write the whole 'will you marry me?' and that's why I'm here, down on my knee, to ask you directly."
Despite your tears, you can't help but giggle at the rhyming in his words. "You got that idea from Akaashi, didn't you?"
Bokuto pouted before mumbling a small "Dont interrupt me."
Seeing you nod, he continued, "Baby, we've been together for several years now and yet we're still here - going strong without any intent of separating any time soon. You were the first person who was able to cheer me up without Akaashi's help and the only person who caught my attention by shouting during one of our matches." He chuckled shortly before proceeding, "You've always been there to support me. You're my number one fan, my number one supporter and the best girlfriend I could ever ask for. I know that sometimes I'm not easy to deal with but still, I'm going to take my chance. To my number one fan, will you marry me?"
Bokuto stared at you in anticipation, a bead of sweat rolling down the side of his head as he waited patiently for your answer. The moment he heard you saying yes, he immediately felt as if he was the luckiest man in the world.
Slipping the ring on your finger, he stood up and pressed his forehead against yours. "Thank you, thank you, baby. Love you so much," he said repeatedly as he showered your face with kisses.
-
"Kou, are you done yet?"
Your voice brought him out from his daydreaming. Scanning the area around him, Bokuto chuckled as he realized that he was still inside the shower.
He then turned the water off and dried himself before wrapping a towel around his waist.
"I'm sorry, baby. I just remembered something important," he said as he walked over to you, placing a kiss on your forehead and murmuring a low apology for taking too long.
"Wanna tell me about it?" you asked in a sleepy voice as you both settled yourself on the bed.
Bokuto wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer, his hand slipping inside your shirt to rub circles on the small strip of skin on your spine knowing how much it helps you fall asleep faster.
"I'll tell you next time about it, okay? Go back to sleep." Bokuto watched as your eyelids fluttered close, your breathing soon evening out and your lips parting slightly to allow small amounts of air in.
"You already know about it anyway, my number one fan," he whispered as he soon also closed his eyes, letting the sound of your breathing lull him to sleep.

my light, my life
rowan x lorcan, pre-canon au, word count: 955
It’s nearing the end of the day.
Rowan studies the maps and reports spread across his desk, trying to distract himself. Around him, the advisors and commanders discuss plans, but he isn’t listening. In the back of his mind, a little voice whispers, He should’ve returned long ago. None of the scouts have even made it back. His throat tightens to the point of pain and Rowan drinks water from the jug.
Everything is fine. Lorcan is fine. Everything is fine.
But he should’ve been back hours ago. They agreed before Lorcan left that today would be for reporting and nothing else. No one was to engage in any sort of war-mongering.
The prince sighs and rubs his tired eyes. He sits down and stares at one of the candles, tracking the wax as it melts. It burns his eyes, but Rowan can’t bring himself to look away. The tears building in his eyes have nothing to do with the brightness. He blinks them away and sighs through his nose, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand.
Suddenly, the flame flickers and a dark feeling sweeps around the warcamp, so quickly that Rowan almost thinks nothing of it. Almost.
He surges to his feet and is vaguely aware of knocking people over in his mad dash. Rowan bursts through the heavy tent flaps and looks around, the look in his eyes nearing insanity. His eyes land on the nearest person and he snaps, “Where is he.”
“I-I don’t know, your Highness,” the young squire stammers, his eyes wide. Later, Rowan will feel a twinge of guilt about frightening him, but he can’t be bothered by that now.
Rowan makes a dismissive gesture and stalks to the camp’s entrance. No one dares to approach him. The steady flow of soldiers trickling in doesn’t ease any worries.
“Where is he,” snarls a familiar voice, rough and grating.
A half-sob of relief escapes Rowan and the crowd parts, leaving the path to Lorcan open. He runs, arms outstretched. Rowan crashes into Lorcan and desperately clutches the back of his dirtied wolf pelt cloak. Lorcan’s arms band around him and he breathes, “Prince.”
“Lorcan,” Rowan whispers, his voice thick with tears. He closes his eyes, forcing tears to spill down his cheeks. “Lorcan.”
Lorcan shushes his lover, blinking back his own tears, “I’m here. I’m here.” Lorcan closes his eyes and buries his face in the crook of Rowan’s neck. He breathes in, his canines ghosting over Rowan’s pulse.
The silver-haired prince exhales slowly, “I missed you, my love.” Lorcan’s heart flutters with the soft, soft term. He lifts his face and searches Rowan’s, tracking every miniscule detail. “What?”
Instead of answering with words, Lorcan lets his kiss be an answer. He cups the back of Rowan’s head and presses his lips to Rowan’s, “Stay with me?”
Rowan nods, “Always.” They part from each other and glare at the few people who were watching. The gossip surrounding the general and the prince is neverending. Neither understand it - it’s not like they ever tried to hide it.
They walk to Lorcan’s tent. It’s not as lavish or opulent as Rowan’s, the ones his parents insisted he take, which is why they prefer it. It’s cosier and they prefer the discreteness the general of Doranelle is awarded.
Rowan pulls the flap back for them both and they step in, their shoulders relaxing once they’re cut off from curious eyes. Lorcan throws a shield of his power around the tent, blocking prying ears so they can speak freely. He strips his disgusting clothes off and cringes when his matted braid touches his back.
“Love, come here,” Rowan beckons. He uses his magic to stoke the coals beneath the copper bath and melts the ice he summons. Lorcan pads across the thick carpets and kisses Rowan’s cheek as he steps in and sits.
Lorcan hums and sighs, tipping his head against the lip of the tub. “Oh…”
Rowan chuckles quietly and sits behind Lorcan’s head. He lets Lorcan soak and relax as he washes Lorcan’s long, long hair. Rowan prods Lorcan to sit, which he does, with a tortured sigh.
The dark-haired warrior picks up a cloth and efficiently scrubs it over him until his bronze skin gleams in the candlelight. Rowan washes his hair with a tonic and washes it out, then combs through a conditioning oil.
By then, Lorcan is clean and the water is grimey. He stands and Rowan passes him a thick towel. Lorcan dries himself and steps out, wrapping the towel around his hips. He walks to his bag and pulls out a pair of loose pants and a shirt to change into.
Rowan pulls him to the cot and they lie down, entangled around each other. Lorcan wraps his arms around Rowan and kisses his forehead, “I love you.”
“And I love you,” Rowan whispers, pulling a blanket over them both. He turns his head and kisses the curve of Lorcan’s shoulder. “I was… scared today. I didn’t think you were coming back.”
“Hey.” Lorcan tilts Rowan’s chin up and cups his face. His hands have slaughtered their way across kingdoms and taken countless lives without remorse, but when they touch his heart, they’re unbearably gentle. “I said I would return, darling. I promised,” he says, claiming Rowan’s lips in a long embrace. Lorcan slowly rolls them, using his weight to ground Rowan. He pulls back, stroking his thumb over Rowan’s cheek. “I will always come back to you.”
Rowan moves and kisses Lorcan again, overcome with emotion and relief, “And I will always wait for you.” He presses his forehead against Lorcan’s. “You are my light.”
“And you are my life.”

toji with a special grade sorcerer!reader (implied exes) and instead of encountering w satosugu he fights reader
so i feel like anon wants this more in an angst direction (?) so i will be writing angst today!
warning: spoilers (if ur anime only? also spoilers for this arc as well the star vessel arc) violence angst
word count | 1.8k
When you saw him it was as if time had stopped, how ironic as your cursed technique allowed you to do such within your own control.
“Toji...” You whispered out before being snapped back to reality, you had the vessel and along with the boys you needed to make sure they got where they needed safely.
“Yo, long time no see (l/n), unfortunate we had to meet like this isn’t it?” He asked and you glared.
By no means was your relationship with Toji smooth sailing, things were difficult, you came from a high clan and you had a reputation to uphold. As soon as your elders found out they threatened to strip you from not only status but being heiress to your clan. You relayed what they had said to Toji before leaving him broken-hearted. Now he stood before you, you could tell he had grown.
“Sensei, we have to deliver the vessel,” Gojo reminded you and you nodded.
“You two go on ahead I’ll handle things here,” You said unsheathing your katana, with a heavy heart.
“Not so fast,” Toji had said from somewhere behind Gojo, impaling him with his weapon while Getou made off with the vessel.
You quickly blocked him from attacking you, and he set off after the vessel you were hot on his tail. You had to leave Gojo quickly calling for medical assistance for him, while chasing after your ex before he could kill the vessel. You didn’t catch up in time as you yelled out for Getou to leave so you could do damage control, but it had been too late, Toji had killed the girl but at least Getou was out.
“Toji… I have to kill you now,” You whispered, you were seething.
There was no way you nor the boys, minus Gojo would be forgiven for this disaster easily.
“I’d love to see you try,” He said and you smirked.
You set off blade ready and clashed with him, a smirk on your face. The two of you clashed around for a bit. You didn’t even notice you were outside once again until you heard a bird chirping.
“Why aren’t you using your technique, you could easily beat me with it,” Toji said he was amused.
“Shouldn’t use it on scum like you,” You said, you couldn’t believe this was happening right now honestly it felt like a nightmare.
“You dated this scum, so I couldn’t be that bad,” He said with a smirk and you felt like you could scream.
Your body was on fire and you quickly slashed at him but he dodged it quickly. You put your hands looping your thumb behind your middle finger with the rest of your hand draped over it, Toji’s eyes widened.
“Domain Expansion: Time Stops All,” You whispered and there was a warping noise before you were both thrown into your domain.
Within your domain time would be slowed for your opponent, not for you. You quickly grabbed your sword and walked over to Toji, taking your sword and impaling him in a fatal place, you undid your domain and began to walk away only to hear him weakly call out for you.
“What is it Toji, I don’t have all day,” You said quickly and you turned around seeing what state you left him in.
“I have a son, Megumi, take care of him, please make sure that he doesn’t return to the Zenin Clan,” Toji whispered and you looked up.
“You never made leaving easy, you’re a bastard but I once loved you. I’ll do it, so rest in peace Toji, I’ll take care of him,” You said and saw what seemed a smile appear onto his face while his eyes slowly closed.
You groaned while wiping your tears, and quickly met back up with Gojo and Getou who seemed to be in better conditions.
“Sensei, we’re-” Getou began but you cut them off.
“No apologies, I have to quickly take care of some business, can I leave the reports to the both of you?” You asked and they nodded.
You headed home quickly changing before heading off to the direction Toji had whispered, slipping on glasses. You walked up to the home sitting on the porch with your legs crossed, and the boy came up to you with a confused look.
“Yo, your dad sent me,” You said with a small smirk and the boy looked at you.
“Are you one of his friends?” He asked and you nodded.
“Listen, you’re going to come to live with me, you’re a sorcerer and there’s a clan looking for you, but I’ll protect you Megumi,” You said and he nodded, still looking confused.
You extended your hand with a soft smile and he took it. You quickly hoisted him up with a smile and carried him off into your car helping with his seatbelt. It took everything within you to not cry, as he looked exactly like Toji, a carbon copy. You both rode in silence as you had to think over an excuse as to how to tell the boy his father wouldn’t be coming back. You also had to go to the Zenin Clan and had to talk over how Megumi would now be under your care. You sighed and the boy looked over at you.
“Is my dad coming back?” He asked and your eyes widened.
“Not for a long time, you’re stuck with me kiddo,” You said and he nodded.
When you got to your estate with the child in hand your elders looked like they could die on the spot.
“(y/n)-sama, what is the meaning of this?” One of them asked and you picked up Megumi walking past them.
You introduced him to the household maid asking her to watch over him while you spoke to the elders. After a long meeting the elders caved in to your pleas of keeping him. They told you that you would have to go alone to meet with the Zenin to which you nodded. You went back over to see Megumi doing homework and you crouched down.
“Hey buddy, we have to go somewhere okay? You can bring your work with you,” You said and he nodded.
You heard his stomach growl, to which he blushed, and you only frowned slightly.
“We’ll get something to eat on the way too,” You said and he nodded.
“Can we have sushi?” He asked and you smiled.
“Of course, we just have to stop by someone’s residency first, yeah?” You asked and he quickly nodded.
You both set out to Gojo’s place and you sighed, this had to be a headache. You stopped, parking outside the estate and taking Megumi with you. You knocked stating your name and that you had to see Gojo, to which you were let in and made your way to the meeting room. You quickly put Megumi down holding his hand and you both made your way to see him. Gojo’s eyes widened to see you with a child, you quickly explained the situation. He nodded agreeing to back you up and you let out a sigh of relief, smiling down at Megumi.
“Are you going now?” Gojo asked and you nodded.
“Yeah as soon as I take him to get sushi, it’s off to tell them,” You said and he nodded.
You said your goodbyes and you looked down at Megumi.
“Who is that man?” He asked and you smiled.
“That’s a friend and a student, Gojo Satoru, very strong boy,” You said and he nodded.
“I want to be as strong as him then,” He said and you smiled.
You both got into the car and you drove to a nearby sushi place reassuring Megumi he could order whatever he pleased, multiple times as he wasn’t sure. After you both ordered and got your meals, you set out to the Zenin Estate, taking a deep breath. You got out with him, hoisting him up on your waist as he had passed out and stepped in, all eyes following you in deep silence. You walked into Naobito’s office with a scowl, as you had a rough encounter with Naoya beforehand, and you knew he’d be in there. Both men looked at you in utter shock when you came in unannounced with Megumi in your arms. Naobito, went to open his mouth but you gave him a piercing look and quickly put your hand up.
“The (l/n) clan will be looking after Megumi Fushiguro as long as I live, I have already spoken with the Gojo Clan, and they plan to back me up, there is no buts, ifs, nor objection. The child will fully go under my custody,” You said while glaring and turned your head to Naoya. “Get out of my sight now, your father and I have lots to discuss.”
Naoya looked at his father who only nodded and he left glaring at you. You rubbed Megumi’s back in a soothing manner as the door slamming startled him.
“Hey buddy, back to sleep okay?” You whispered and he nodded.
He fell back asleep and you looked at Naobito, still glaring.
“You ought to teach your son manners, how will he get a woman if he’s so… brutish?” You said and Naobito only glared.
“What is all this about your clan taking Megumi in, it was said that he would become a Zenin,” He said clearly confused.
“I'll make it brief, I killed Toji, so I guess since I did you a favor, ridding you of him, permanently, you could do this for me and stay out. It was Toji’s final wish for the boy to stay with me permanently. I plan to honor it,” You said and Naobito proceeded to stare.
“Well, I’ll allow it under one condition, if you were to become dead or mentally incapacitated, Megumi is handed over to me, and then made sole heir to our clan,” He said and you thought it over. “I can assure you’re not walking out here cleanly with the boy, if we don’t come to an agreement.”
“Alright but I also have a set of terms, if you were to die or become mentally incapacitated, Megumi goes over to Gojo Satoru,” You said and Naobito nodded.
You stood up slowly extending a hand, to which he took and you gripped it hardly.
“And may hell rain down upon you if you do anything to sabotage this, also he is never to find out I killed his father,” You said and let go, walking out.
You made your way out the manor not before Naoya cornered you. You looked up at him, displeased to say the least.
“Get out my way,” You said and he shook his head.
“Not until you apologize for disrespecting me,” He said and you laughed.
“Didn’t know you had a pair now, out of my way,” You said, shoving him and continued to walk.
Watching over Megumi wasn’t an easy task, you had no idea how children worked, but he was such a good kid you couldn’t help but spoil him. Megumi would often have bad nightmares as a child where he would think you had abandoned him, which broke your heart because as long as you lived you’d stay by his side.

Peter was almost finished helping Mr Delmar un-pack into his new store. He set down the last box and waited for Mr Delmar's further instructions. Suddenly there was a faint growl coming from outside that sounded like Murph (Mr Delmar's cat). Peter knew it would take a while before Delmar would be finished upstairs, so he decided to head out the door to see if Murph was alright.
You were limping on your way back home, maybe taking the shortcut through the sewers wasn't the best choice. It had been over a month since the accident, where you lost your brother to human carelessness.
You remember how he talked about this sandwich store that was moving to your old apartment. You knew it wasn't safe roaming out in the open, but ever since the humans living in that apartment moved out, you really needed something to eat.
You had just arrived at the store. Exhausted, you sat against a wall to take a break from that long walk. You took out a piece of ripped cloth from out of your bag in an attempt to start wiping the blood off your leg. But Suddenly, From the side of the store crept the biggest rat you have ever seen, or at least you thought it was a rat. It had huge pointy ears, You could barely see its eyes because of all that fur, but you knew it was a threat as soon as you heard it hiss at you.
You felt your stomach clench, your leg was busted, and you were so exhausted. You really didn't think you could outrun that thing.
“This is it,” you thought as you fixed your eyes on the creature, covering yourself with your arms, braced for impact.
Just then the huge door of the shop flung open, followed by what looked like a boy.
The cat lifted its paw and went straight for you. Although you were expecting it, you were shocked at the impact.
You swallowed your scream, but you couldn't hold in your tears. As soon as the first one escaped, a whole river flowed down your dusty cheeks.
"shit, shit, shit, fuck, this can't be happening," you whispered as you tried to control yourself. Now wasn't really a great time for panic attacks.
You rubbed your face hastily trying to define your emotions. You pushed yourself up from the wall and prepared to run, you couldn't let another human see you, not again. As you turned your back and started sprinting, the creature's huge paw flung straight for you and pushed you back to the floor. You groaned in pain hoping that this was all just a bad dream.
Peter bent down to pick up Murph, barely noticing you. “What's wrong Murph,” Peter said as he stroked the Murph's fur.
"That thing has a name?" You thought as you pushed yourself back up.
The cat turned to you and hissed down at your little form. The human turned its attention down to what or who Murph was hissing at.
You stared at the towering human hoping he wouldn't notice you, or just leave you alone. But then again, one look at your bloody ass foot and you decided you were a literal recipe for attention.
All those late-night stories about how you should be extra careful around them. never take any risks, they'd keep you in a jar on their nightstand for all their friends to see. They wouldn't hesitate to pick you up without your permission. You always thought it was kind of insane the way your brother described them, but once you let that thought slip to your head you started sweating.
You weren't exactly against human's existence, you just didn't want to deal with them.
It took a few seconds for Peter to comprehend what he was seeing, but as he slowly bent down again and let Murph go, he could make out an actual real-life borrower.
There had been several reports on capturing these little things on camera over the past few years, but Peter never imagined himself actually having an encounter with one.
She looked so scared. She was covered in dust, dried up bruises and scars. Her ankle looked like it was bent in an unnatural position. That huge scar on her waist looked fresh. Did Murph do this? did she- was she crying?
"H-hey bud, are you ok? you look really torn up"
yeah, no shit sherlock.
You forced yourself to look up at his huge empathetic face. You didn't like how he was looking down at you like you were some weak little shit in desperate need of help.
You tried to force words out of your mouth, but all that came out were weak whimpers, you felt unsteady, the bright sun behind the human made you feel dizzy.
Peter noticed this and used himself to block the sun. "That's ok you don't have to talk, d-do you maybe want something to eat?" Peter said expecting maybe a nod or anything indicating "yes". But you couldn't even hear him, white dots covered your vision as you grabbed your head trying to stop everything from spinning.
And then you blacked out.
You woke up on a cold smooth surface, you turned your head around trying to adjust your eyes to the light. you felt tired and your stomach felt empty and weak. you sat up slowly rubbing your eyes, suddenly a familiar voice filled the room.
"Thanks, May, but I'm stuffed!" Peter said with a small laugh as he entered the room and closed the door behind him.
You turned your head towards the noise, and once you set your eyes on the large room and the human you saw from before, you started panicking again. What time is it? Where am I? What the hell is going on.
This time there was no one to save you.
"you're awake," Peter said surprised. "I got u some leftover pizza, figured u might be hungry," Peter said as he strolled across the room towards you. You immediately stood up ignoring your aching leg but fell back down in an instant.
"WOAH Slow down, that leg's not gonna get any better if you keep putting pressure on it, trust me, I've had experience," Peter said with a small smile.
He set down a piece of pizza on a folded tissue and carefully slid it towards you. You scooted back a little but once you laid eyes on the piece of food he offered, you thought that maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a little.
You grabbed the piece of food like you hadn't eaten in days. You were still having your doubts though, like why this human was giving a shit about your wellbeing, but once you took the first bite, you were in heaven. An unforced smile spread across your face for the first time in a while, Peter couldn't help but smile too. He always felt good helping people.
"Hey is that leg okay?" Peter said as he shifted his gaze down to your bloody ankle. You looked back up at him again. You were a little scared to make converstation. I mean this human could crush you in seconds, but it had been a real long time since you actually talked to someone, so not wanting to make this any harder you cleared your throat and responded.
"Well, nothing has changed, still hurts like hell," you said with a weak smile. You tried speak as calmly as you could, panic attacks were a real common guest nowadays. Peter frowned, he didn't think anyone like you should suffer like this at such a young age. borrowers have it real hard huh.
"M-My name's Peter by the way," He said scratching the back of his head. "What's your name?"
You were a little surprised he even cared, "Oh uh, It's y/n".
"What are you going to do to me?" You said, sounding concerned.
Peter hadn't actually thought of it that way, he only brought you in because you looked like you were in really bad shape, and considering what Murph might have done, he naturally thought he owed you something.
"I- I just wanna help, just until you can get back on your feet again." He stood up and ran across the room to pull out a box from under his bed. He came back with some gauze and wipes. "I-If you'd let me".
You thought it was crazy he even bothered to help you. Still, you weren't sure you wanted to be handled by a human, If he was anything like the other human...
Peter noticed the doubtful look on your face. "I promise I'll be careful," He said almost whispering. You did have nowhere else to go, the dried up blood was starting to make you feel really uncomfortable, and if this human's intentions really were to help you, you're seeing humans in a whole new light.
you gave a weak nod and sat up straight so Peter could see the cuts. He rubbed the cold wipes gently on your leg. You jumped a little at contact and pressed your lips together, the wipes were a little too cold. But after a few seconds, you could handle it.
You stared at Peter, it was almost unbelievable how gentle he was. Usually, you would pay attention if someone was wiping your cuts, but something was comforting about Peter. When was the last time you could rely on someone other than yourself?
When he finished, he glanced back down at you. "T-Thanks Peter," you said with a smile. Peter beamed back, he was just happy you trusted him to help out.

beneath the lightning and the moon
With apologies to Coleridge, the Navy Hymn and the Submarine Service, a very quick Halloween story.
“Sea monsters.” Scott pinches the bridge of his nose. “Actual sea monsters."
“I know it sounds pretty crazy but --”
Buddy twists, his hologram beckoning out to someone out of frame, and Scott takes the opportunity to roll his eyes in Virgil’s vague direction. His actual view of his brother is blocked partially by the Pendergasts, but mostly by Gordon who’s leaning forward like an over excited pup facing the prospect of a particularly juicy bone.
“Ellie!”
“Hey, Gordo!” She waves. “Buddy filled you in?”
“Yeah!”
“Yeah, about that.” Scott holds a hand out, palm up, to keep Gordon from jumping right out of his seat. Just like puppy training. Kinda. “Thunderbird Five’s been scanning the area since you called it in, we can’t find anything untoward.”
“I know what I heard.” Buddy shakes his head. “Ellie took a recording, didn’t you love?”
“Sure did, hold on.” She taps at her tab, and Scott calls up John.
“This again?” he mutters, side eyeing the Pendergasts who are pressing their heads together over the tab. “I’ve run every scan --”
“Ah ha! Here, listen to this!”
Gordon practically falls off the sofa in his eagerness, Virgil catching at his belt loops to hold him in place. John is already turning away, his concentration already caught by something far more interesting than Buddy Pendergast’s --
“Report. Report.”
“Crikey! Did you hear that? What in the --”
The roar that echoes round the villa has Gordon flying back in his seat, brings Alan to the top of the stairs with his fingers in his ears. It’s a deep, awful sort of sound, muffled by water and distance, but there’s a sharpness  to it that reminds Scott of sheering, screaming metal. Of blood and flame and dust. It is not the sort of sound the Pendergasts ought to have been party to in a bathyscope. Sea monsters or not.
“Lion?” Alan yells. “‘S new!”
“Not a lio --!” Scott bellows back, but then the sound cuts off as sudden and as awful as it had begun. On the recording the only sound is the panicked panting of the Pendergasts, the gentle, steady beep of the sonar, and;
“Report. Report. Report.”
“Ya hear that?” Buddy shakes his head, and Ellie pats his arm. “I’ve heard some things in my time -- the cry of the Ozarks Howler, a Yowie party but this --” His eyes drop. “Was something else.”
Ellie’s arm wraps around his shoulders, and she turns a pleading expression on Scott.
“There’s something out there, you heard it.”
“Most of New Zealand heard it,” grumbles Alan, dropping down to sit next to Scott. “But -- I don’t get it. If you’re looking for sea monsters -- maybe you found one?”
John scoffs, but Buddy’s already shaking his head again, his gaze fixed to his feet.
“That’s not the issue,” Ellie insists. “Could be a Kraken, could be a Pleido -- either way --”
“I’m sorry.” It’s Virgil’s turn to interrupt, though at least he's more polite about it than John’s likely to be. “If you’re not calling us about the Sea Monster --”
“Either way,” Ellie continues, eyebrows pulling together. “Since when do sea monsters ask you to report?”
---
“You there yet, mate?”
“I think he means status, Thunderbird Four?”
“No drama, status Gordo?”
Gordon grins down at the twin holograms. John’s arms are tightly folded across his chest, but Buddy’s bouncing on his toes, his eyes bright.
“I’m good, coming up within range now. No sea monsters yet.” Buddy deflates slightly. John rolls his eyes. "Anything on the scans, John?”
“Clean as a whistle, I might find you some nervous clams if you’re --”
“MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY KWLF034 KWLF034 KWLF034 POSITION 32.27.46.S 177.38.13.W.”
The words come again in a steady, heavy monotone. Male, probably. Human, anyway, and John’s eyebrows disappear into his hairline, his hand flying over his equipment as Gordon grabs for the comm.
“Kilo Whiskey Lima Foxtrot Zero Three Four, this is Thunderbird Four.” He glances briefly at Buddy who’s biting at the skin of his thumb. “Report.”
Static blares through the comm. John scowls. “Nothing! How can --”
“I’m nearly five kilo deep, John. Whatever’s down here is not having a fun-- shit!”
The sound is worse down here, down deep in the dark where the only thing Four’s running lights catch on are the rising peaks of underwater mountains. It’s a scream, a shriek of metal and men and the thundering roar of water where there should not be and Gordon ducks, throwing his arms over his head in a frantic attempt to protect himself from -- from --
He peers out into the blackness. Four bobs gently in the current, unbothered and untouched.
“Report,” pleads the comm and every hair on the back of his neck stands to attention.
“Nothing’s -- What --” He hits the comm, fingers slipping slightly even through the neoprene. “Zero Three Four, state your position!”
“Report, LR5.” Definitely human, definitely scared. “LR5? Do you read me?”
Gordon’s nose crinkles, “LR -- must be interference. Hang on. John I’m gonna send a pulse you ready?”
“Might as well,” John grumbles. “Nothing else is -- Eos! Have you been rearranging the databanks again?”
“Launching Ultra Sonar.” Gordon hopes that John’s too preoccupied with whatever Eos has done to the communication array to notice the way he squeezes his eyes shut before pressing the button. He doesn’t believe in sea monsters -- not Buddy’s kind of sea monsters anyway -- not any more than he believes in mermaids.
But there’s something out there. Something loud. Something loud and invisible to human eyes and John alike, and the last surprise the Ultra Sonar turned up had really not ended well for him at all.
Lights flare into life across the dash as the Ultra Sonar sweeps through the crevices, dips down toward the distant trench bottom, and Gordon finds himself holding his breath, waiting, waiting --
“MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY KWLF034 --”
“Roger that Zero Three Four, I am receiving you loud and clear what is your status.”
The static fizzes again, louder, more insistent, and over it, through it, the clang clang clang of what sounds like a hammer against a hull. His hull.
“Jesus fuck what is that? John!”
“I’m getting nothing from here!”
The noise grows louder, closer, and he can feel it through his seat now -- any second -- any second and it’ll be beneath his feet, right where the running lights reflect his own sheet-white face in the plexiglass.
Until they splutter, stutter. Die away to nothing and the darkness left lit only by the faint, static laden glow of the comm symbol and two pale, watching faces.
The silence is perfect.
The silence is awful.
Buddy opens his mouth; Gordon presses a finger to his lips, and he snaps it shut.
The comm symbol flickers, red to amber.
“Zero Three Four,” Gordon hisses, “God damn --”
“-- ur power evermore whose arm doth reach the ocean floor --” the voice on the comm warbles, unsteady and growing much, much higher. A boy's voice, almost. Clear of static and as pure as though the singer were sat beside him, and Gordon listens, enthralled, as the running lights flicker back into life.
Or at least, someone’s do. Someone huge and black, rising from beneath him with running lights turned green with age and a hull torn and tattered. Colours not used for a century flying from a mast that hangs limp, a looming blackflashed conn tower where someone -- someone still sings.
“Virgil! Virgil I need you now!”
A dozen someones, no, more, two dozen, a hundred, and Thunderbird Four’s engines howl in displeasure as Gordon throws himself backward, heaves himself towards the surface, sweat in his eyes and blood in his mouth and his ears -- his ears ringing with a hundred voices, clear and bright and impossible as they beg:
“-- dive with our men beneath the sea.”
---
Buddy hovers over him, generously letting him finish puking his guts up against the wall of the module before he says anything. He’s good like that. “Not sea monsters, then?”
Gordon shakes his head weakly.
"Not unless season 17 is heading in a very different direction, no."
Virgil hands him a towel.
“Deep sea pressures can lead to hallucinations, there must be some --”
“Pardon me Virgil mate, but I heard --”
“Me too.” John is quieter than usual, his grip on his arms unusually tight. “There was nothing on the scans but --”
“M-mass hysteria,” Brains concludes, popping out of Virgil’s wrist comm to tut at the state of Four’s post-dive. “It’s the simplest --”
“General quarters.” Gordon doesn’t look at any of them as he wipes his face with a shaking hand. “The hammering -- they were calling me to General Quarters.”
“I don’t know --”
“Battlestations,” he rounds on Virgil, panic curdling into anger in the last of the bile he spits onto the ground. “No one -- no one came to help them. They wanted me to help them. And I ran.”
“Gordon --”
"You don't get it!"
"Gordon, I do, I understand but -- there's no such thing as ghosts."
Buddy and John let out similarly uncertain little noises. Brains presses the heel of his hand into his forehead. Gordon just scowls, and jabs at his comm.
“Kilo Whisky Lima Foxtrot Zero Three Four, do you copy?” The line hangs, Gordon’s fingertips white with the force of pressing it down, the balric shaking under his hand. “Repeat, do you copy? I’m sorry.” It’s a whisper, a plea. “Zero Three Four, stand down. All clear, I repeat. All clear.”
“Gordon, there’s no one --”
It’s different up here. A thin, ready warble. Distant and skittish, as though being played through some ancient radio frequency that skips with every heavy breeze, but it comes all the same. Plays through Gordon’s comm and echoes off the carbon fiber frame of Two, wraps itself around Four’s still dripping nose.
“ -- keep them safe from peril in the deep.”
Someone -- John -- whimpers, but Gordon grits his teeth, stares out at the churning ocean and swears, "Roger that."

You don’t like him.
You hate him.
You like him.
You love him.
Break.
Please…
Help.
~~~
Having slipped out of his bed an hour before, Tenko stared out of his window and into yours. He had a lot on his mind while he blankly stood there and watched. He hadn’t even changed into his school uniform yet. It was as if he was waiting for something but he didn’t even know what he was waiting for.
Your bed was located directly under your window, he could see your legs peeking out from the blanket and that was all he could see. He was unable to avert his gaze or move.
Your bedroom door opened suddenly and your mother started yelling at you to get up or you would be late for school.
Tenko heard you groan and watched you stretch in your bed before finally leaving your comfy bed to get ready.
He saw you smiling to yourself and blush furiously as you picked up your uniform. That made him look away.
~~~
“Have you decided which universities you want to attend to, Shimura?” The counselor clicked his pen impatiently. “Time is ticking, you know. If you don’t want to attend one, you have to tell me. We don’t need to do this every week-”
“Please… I just need a little more time to decide.”
Tenko’s desperate voice made him drop his pen. The kid had talked with him for the first time. The two of them stared at each other in silence before the counselor cleared his throat. “One more day,” he said, holding a finger up. “I’ll give you only one more day.”
Tenko nodded.
The counselor waved his hand to dismiss him.
~~~
“Whaaat?” The blonde stared at you in shock. “You have a boyfriend now?”
You blushed, “Y-yeah.”
“Who is it?” she asked, scooting a little closer to you on the bench.
“It’s-”
Tenko covered his ears and closed his eyes. He resisted the urge to scream only because he didn’t want you to find him behind the bushes.
“You’re so lucky! He’s so popular too!”
“Haha… Is he? I didn’t know…” you mumbled. “Are you done? We should get going, it’s gym class soon.”
“Ahh, I forgot my swimwear!” your friend whined. She covered her face in embarrassment. “You can go! I won’t be joining the class anyway,” she mumbled behind her hands.
“Are you sure?”
“Mhm.”
“Okay, I’ll see you at lunchtime?” You got up from the bench and took her empty carton of strawberry milk to throw it away along with yours. She nodded rapidly in response.
“Then you can bring me my lunch bag to the rooftop!” you laughed. “I’ll leave it on my desk!” You heard her mumble something in confirmation as you walked away.
Your friend watched your back shrink smaller and smaller from between the gaps of her fingers. She laid back on the bench with an audible sigh, ignoring the sound of the moving bushes behind the bench.
~~~
Tenko waited patiently outside of the classroom. It had been twenty minutes, nobody was in sight.
He entered the empty classroom, his eyes directly landed on your desk. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts as he moved closer to your desk. Carefully, he opened your lunch bag with his shaky fingers. A bottle of soda, a set of snacks, and a bento were inside. He reached for the bento and fished it out.
Your bento consisted of rice and chicken. Nothing else. But Tenko was already drooling over the rice. His saliva rested on top of the moist rice before sinking.
Without hesitation, Tenko closed your lunch bag, taking the bento with him into the boys’ restroom. He locked himself in the booth and panted loudly as if he had run a marathon.
His hands moved on their own, he put the bento down on the toilet and unbuckled his belt. His pants dropped down to his feet the next second.
Sweat droplets started forming on his forehead as he palmed his rock hard erection. Unable to wait for another second, he pulled down his boxers to sprung his cock free. Precum had started to form on the tip and as soon as he wrapped his hand around the base, his cock twitched.
He closed his eyes to think of you. You were swimming in the pool and you noticed Tenko by the poolside, you smiled at him. Even in his fantasy, he looked around to see if you were smiling at him.
“Aren’t you coming?” you chirped, still smiling at him. Your smile and attention were directed at him and nobody else.
Tenko’s hand moved slower on his cock, he tightened his grip, moving from base to the tip sluggishly. The sensation of the gloves made him shiver.
He joined you in the pool. You swam towards him to meet him halfway and wrapped your arms around his neck before clashing your lips with his.
Tenko tried to imagine what it felt like kissing you even if he didn’t know what it felt like kissing anybody. His mind was full of your lips and your tongue, nothing else.
One of your hands made their way down and into his trunks, grabbing his cock.
Tenko let out a soft sigh. His breathing was irregular, his hand started moving faster. His cock didn’t last longer than a second at the fantasy of your hands wrapping around it.
He had to grab onto the wall to keep his balance as his legs shook from his oncoming climax. His cock throbbed in his hand before the thick spurts of cum landed on your rice.
The thick substance didn’t sink like his saliva, it visibly stood on top of your rice.
Wiping the sweat droplets that had formed on his forehead, he put his pants back on. He took the bento and sat on the toilet, staring at his masterpiece for a moment before sticking one of his unclothed fingers into the rice to stir it until his seed mixed into the moistness of the rice.
He closed the lid of your bento with a smile and left the restroom. The tension had left from his shoulders, he felt a lot better than he did in the morning.
The classroom was still empty when he returned, your lunch bag stood exactly where he had left it.
Quickly, he opened the bag and put your bento back in it. He was halfway done zipping the bag when someone spoke.
“Tenko Shimura!”
Tenko flinched, he let go of the lunch bag as if it burned him. He stared at the girl entering the classroom in panic.
The girl started laughing at him, “You should have seen your face! Hahaha!” She kept on laughing as she closed the door. “Ahh, you look so stupid right now! I’ve never seen anyone turn as red as you before!!”
Oh, it was just some other bitch who wanted to make fun of him. Tenko’s eye twitched in anger. He moved away from your desk and strode for the door, only to be stopped by the girl.
She blocked his way and grinned at him. “You’re such a pervert.”  She pointed a finger at the lunch bag on top of the desk. “She makes her friends eat that you know!”
The color drained from Tenko’s face, his mouth gaped and he found himself speechless. This was your friend. This was your friend. This bitch was your friend.
Shit.
No.
No way.
Had he been found out?
How could this happen?
Father… he was going to be mad if he found out about this. He could see the disapproving face of his father.
The image of the rake flashed in front of his eyes. His father gripping the rake and swinging it at him full force.
He could not take it anymore. No, he was not going to let this bitch talk. He was going to make her unable to speak. If he got rid of her, nothing would happen. He could continue living in the shadows and- and- he could still watch over you from afar.
Tenko’s eyes widened and suddenly grabbed the girl by her collar. Her back slammed against the door and she let out a pained sigh. “I’ll kill you if you talk about this. I’ll murder your entire family and everyone you know if you dare to speak of my name.”
The girl looked unphased, she instead smirked at him. Her face started deforming, it looked like it was melting. Tenko didn’t let go of her, he didn’t know what her Quirk was and if he was confused, he didn’t show it on his face.
Her hair color and body changed and lastly, the slimy substance on her face moved around before starting to form a face.
Your face.
Tenko’s grip loosened. He didn’t dare to blink as you smiled at him.
“(name)?”
“No, silly!” The voice didn’t sound like you… at all but the smile… it was just as he had imagined. You were smiling at him.
“(name).”
“Geez, Shimura, just how dumb are you?” you laughed but the voice still didn’t sound like you. “I thought you were smarter!”
Tenko smiled softly, his eyes hazy.
Your eyes landed on his uniform and you blushed bright red. “Why are you hard? Oh my gosh! Shimura, you're so so so so disgusting!”
Covering your face with your hands, you looked away.
“Don’t,” he whispered, grabbing your wrists weakly to pull them away. “Don’t hide your face, please.”
When he pulled your hands away from your face he saw that your skin had started distorting. A wave of terrific panic washed over him, he opened his mouth to shout your name but a large chunk of slime fell from your face to reveal that girl’s red face.
Tenko moved away.
“Ugh! You’re so weird! Go die! Dumbass!” The girl yelled at him and wiped the rest of the slime off her face. “How can you get hard just from seeing her face?”
It was over.
She was going to report him.
He crashed on his knees, holding his head. He waited for the girl to run out of the door and slam it shut, get to the principal’s office, tell them everything and get him expelled. He wasn't worried about any of those though, the only thing he could think about was his father. The image of the rake sent shivers down his spine.
“What are you doing?” she asked mockingly.
Oh, so she wanted to make fun of him before ruining his life.
“Just go and get it over with!”
She was quiet for a moment before she asked with a laugh. “What?”
Tenko rose to his feet, his eyebrows furrowed while he glowered down at the short girl. “Stop looking down on me!”
“Do you have anger problems or are you just hungry?” she snickered and walked past him to get to your lunch bag.
He froze, she was taking the evidence with her to the principal’s room.
“Hey,” she said. “Today we’re eating at the rooftop but you probably know that already. If you go now, you can sit anywhere you like without hiding!”
“W-what?”
She pouted, her golden eyes squinted. “I’m telling you to get to the rooftop before us so you can get a front-row ticket to watch your beloved (name)!”
Dumbfounded, Tenko stared at her.
“It’s like talking to a wall,” she sighed before moving towards the door. “Anyway, see ya!”
Tenko’s legs moved on their own, he ran after the girl. “Aren’t you going to tell them?”
“Tell what?” she giggled. “To who?”
“T-the teachers. About the… you know-”
“Why would I?” She smirked at him.
Tenko’s thoughts came to an abrupt halt. His mind was completely blank as he stared at the face of the dumb blonde.
She laughed at his expression. She stopped walking right in front of the stairs and turned to face him. “I’m Himiko Toga!” she chirped. Her eyes landed on his hand and she grimaced. “I’d offer you a handshake but I don’t wanna touch your dirty hands. Did you even wash them?”
Tenko shoved his hands in his pockets, giving Toga the answer. But he had a question of his own. “Why?”
She knew exactly what he was asking her.
Why are you keeping quiet about this? Why aren’t you grossed out? Why are you talking to me as if I’m an actual person? Why are you encouraging me to go to the rooftop to watch her?
“We’re on the same boat.” Was all she had to say.
“What?”
The bell rang, announcing the lunch break.
Toga turned around her heels to ascend the stairs. She stopped and glanced over her shoulder, “You coming, Shimura?”
Hesitantly, Tenko took a step.
Toga smiled to herself and led the way.

“She changed her hair.”
Loki looked up at you from his book. “I beg your pardon?”
Your eyes were fixed on Wanda as she greeted Steve and Nat across the room.  She had just come home from a recon mission in Sokovia to help with the disaster efforts.  Though she looked tired, her long hair was lighter than before, lightly curled at the ends.
“Wanda,” you clarified.  “She changed her hair.”
Loki sighed and went back to reading his book.  “Women happen to change their hair often, Y/N.  It’s a fact of life.”
“Now that’s just sexist,” you pointed out.
“You’re right.  I suppose Stark spends more time grooming himself than you and Maximoff combined,” he snickered.
You rolled your eyes as Wanda walked over.
Her eyes were bright.  “What’s so funny?  Did I miss something?”
“No,” you replied quickly.
“Yes,” Loki groaned without looking up.
Wanda raised an eyebrow before quickly brushing her thought away.  “Anyhow, Cap wanted me to tell you that we have a mission tomorrow overseas.”
You glanced at Loki before giving Wanda a concerned look.  “But you just came back.”
She shrugged.  “Duty calls,” she said.  “Besides, I don’t mind going if it’s with you.”
“Sounds like fun,” Loki drawled as he flipped a page and continued reading.
Wanda sent you the smallest wink before going off to file some reports with Steve.
You found yourself exhaling sharply, realizing that you were holding your breath the whole time Wanda was in front of you.  You tried your best to catch your breath, but you kept thinking about her smile.
Loki glanced over at you and scoffed.  “You are absolutely smitten,” he said.  “And incredibly lame.”
“Well, I’m sure you’ve felt the same way about someone before,” you protested.
“Kitten, I invented love, but no one here is worthy of it.”
“Of course,” you deadpanned.  “You and your incredibly high standards.”
He shrugged.  “It’s true.”
“Okay, but what am I going to do?” you groaned.  “I’ll be going with Wanda to God knows where, and I can barely function when she’s around me!”
“Right,” he said, setting his book down.  “Allow me to make a suggestion.”
You leaned closer, partially curious as to what he had to say.
He sighed.  “You’ve had your eye on Maximoff, and I’m sure she’s noticed by now.  Maybe you should stop worrying about that and just be yourself.”
“Be myself...?”
“Well, yes,” he said.  “You’re a lovely human, the best I know.  She’d be a fool not to accept you.”
You bit your lip.  “Okay, but if I make a move and it turns out badly, then I’m gonna kick your ass.”
“A reasonable deal,” Loki said with a grin before going back to his book, leaving you to worry about packing for your impromptu mission.
--
You yawned loudly, causing Wanda to laugh as she drove your tiny getaway car through the narrow streets of Edinburgh.
“Sleep much last night?” she asked.
“A little,” you admitted.  “Just mission jitters, that’s all.”
She hummed.
You rubbed your eyes tiredly.  Truth be told, you got absolutely no sleep the night before.  Usually missions included at least a few more people, but now that you were alone with Wanda, it seemed too good to be true.  You were excited, but you didn’t want to ruin the friendship you had with her.
After a full day of scouting, the two of you checked into a small hotel.
It was a cozy building, the last of its kind on the bright, modern street.  It spoke of a time that was long gone, giving off an almost whimsical feeling to passerbys.
And the rooms were small.
Very small.
You stared at the one bed in the middle of the room, gulping nervously.
It’s okay.
It’s just a bed, and we’re just friends.
You sighed.  Be professional, Y/N!
“Something wrong?” Wanda asked, observing your inner turmoil.
“No, of course not!” you exclaimed.
She set her bag down.  “Steve thought it’d be a good idea to get a smaller room.  Lower profile,” she said.  “I could take the couch if you want.”
I should’ve thought of that!
You shook your head, trying to act as cool as possible.  “It’s fine!”
She smiled.  “Alright,” she said.  “I’ll shower first, if that’s okay.”
“Yeah,” you replied.
You found yourself looking out the window, and as soon as you heard the bathroom door close with a click, you sighed, sitting back on the bed.
“Maybe you should stop worrying about that and just be yourself.”
You nodded to yourself.  You hated to admit it, but Loki was right.  If you wanted to make it through the night without being completely incapacitated with awkwardness, you had to take a step forward.  Maybe you wouldn’t confess outright, but at least try to carry on a conversation without blushing madly.
You didn’t notice Wanda coming back out, drying her hair with a towel.
She sat down next to you, making you jump.  “You okay, Y/N?  You’ve been really weird all day.”
“I’m fine,” you insisted.  You felt your breath hitch as she stroked your hair gently.  “Just on edge, I guess.”
“I get that,” she said.  “Sometimes I wish I didn’t have any sort of responsibility, you know?”
You nodded.  “But we’ve got each other, right?”
She smiled.  “Yeah.”
You smiled back, finding your body moving closer to hers until your lips brushed over hers.
You pulled back, your eyes wide.  “Oh, God, I’m so sorry!” you exclaimed before running to the bathroom.
You locked the door behind you, sinking to the floor.  Involuntary tears slipped down your cheeks as you tried to stifle your cries.  You felt your cheeks heat up with embarrassment.
There was a quiet knock on the door.
“Y/N?”
You hid your face in your hands.
“Y/N, can you please come out?”
You slowly stood, wiping your eyes before opening the door.
You barely had time to respond before Wanda backed you into the sink, her lips on yours.  Your eyes widened as she gently rested her hands on your waist.
You caught your breath as she pulled back.  “Wh-what...?”
“I’ve loved you for the longest time,” she said.  “Just couldn’t find the right time to say so.”
Shock made you speechless.  You searched her green eyes for any sort of lie, but you found none.
“I always thought you and Loki would eventually get together, but after talking to him about it, he said that wasn’t the case at all,” Wanda explained.  She laughed nervously.  “I’ve ranted to him about you ever since, especially when I couldn’t necessarily contain my feelings about you.”
You thought you were dreaming.
“Sorry it took so long,” she said.
“No, it’s okay,” you replied.  “I’m sorry too.”
She laughed.
You couldn’t help but smile like an idiot.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
And that was where you left it.
The two of you cuddled comfortably on the bed, eventually waking up in each other’s arms.  The soft morning light made Wanda’s hair glow against the white bed sheets.
It took a moment for you to remember what happened the night before, but when you did, you felt giddy all over again.
You just couldn’t believe it was true.
--
When you finally returned to the compound, the first person to greet you two was Loki, who was leaning against the door frame, smiling smugly.
“Shut up,” you laughed.
“I didn’t say anything,” he pointed out.
“You didn’t need to,” you said.  You held up your hand, which was holding Wanda’s ever so gently.  “You were right.  You happy?”
A smile grew across his lips.  “Of course,” he said.  “And now I get to stab anyone who tries to hurt you two.”
You and Wanda exchanged glances before laughing.
Loki chuckled along with you, watching the two of you laugh together.
He meant every word.
You had to be protected.

YAY UR ASK BOX IS OPEN!A scenario in which bakugou's s/o has a quirk where she can transfer someone's illness or disability to another person or delete the illness if she wants, and when they are fighting a wave of villains while protecting civilians his s/o takes notice of a villain that killed her parents and she transfers a very deadly illness to the villain which causes the villain to have a gruesome reaction to it and bakugou has to stop her from taking it too far. O.O
Literally I love this request so much and I hope my writing has lived up to it’s greatness, tha n k yOU :’)
The mission was supposed to be fairly easy, all the pros heard was that there was a few villains causing problems downtown, nothing too extreme.
And in the beginning, it was that simple… but things took a turn south too fast.
“Pfft, they really needed five of us to come down for this?” Kaminari scoffed, watching as his prior high school classmates took out what seemed to be the last of the drones surrounding the city.
Watching from beside Kaminari you chuckled as you watched your boyfriend light up what you could only assume was the last robot.
“I’m just curious as to where the actual villain is.” You commented, meeting up with Bakugou, Kirishima, and Sero who had just finished attacking all of the drones.
When the five of you arrived it seemed like something out of some weird movie, small drones flying all over the place wreaking havoc amongst the civilians downtown. Nothing extreme as to killing anyone, just scaring off the people of Japan and causing damage to the city.
“Well that was a nice little workout, let’s head back to the agency and report what happened to see if we can locate the villain causing this mess.” Kirishima said with a grin, the five of you seeming to nod in agreement until a sharp scream was heard behind you.
Whipping your head back you saw yet again another drone cornering a woman into a corner, your eyes scanning the streets as more of these mystery robots seemed to appear everywhere.
“Oi oi, where the fuck are these tin cans comin from?!” Bakugou hissed angrily, quickly blasting his way to the woman before blasting the metal head off the robot.
Running after the four boys who began to destroy the robots once more you bit your lip, looking for some sort of villain to be causing this mayham before letting out a sigh.
“Since my quirk isn’t exactly good with quick combat, I’m gonna go look for the villain causing this mess so we can put an end to this.” You called out to the four boys, all seeming to nod in agreement with your plan before going back to destroying the robots.
You couldn’t help but laugh softly when you heard your boyfriend call out a warning to be careful even though it sounded more like a threat as you ran around the corner and walked down the empty street.
It only made sense for the villain to be hiding nearby right? After all everyone had abandoned the area by now so it was the perfect hiding spot for the villain to be controlling his drones.
Letting out a bored sigh you began walking down each ally you passed, your (h/c) locks swinging behind you while you impatiently explored the empty side of town.
Sometimes you wished you had a quirk like your friends, of course your quirk had a great reward to it but it also made it more difficult for you to go into combat. All you really had to do was transfer your power to someone and they were out in seconds, no real fun to it.
It wasn’t that you were asking to get beat up or anything, but you wished to have more hand to hand battles that didn’t make you win in two seconds.
Pushing that thought aside you focused on the mission ahead of you, admitting in this moment your quirk would be of good use to knock the villain out fast and easy. You had just healed someone a few days ago from being paralyzed to the waist down, that would be the perfect disability to pass down to a villain so that he couldn’t move.
After all you knew your parents would be proud of you, they had such high hopes for you knowing you dreamed to be a pro ever since you were a little girl. How you wish they could be here with you, telling you how proud they were of the power you had received. Whenever you got annoyed with your quirk you just thought of them, remembering how they blessed you with such a rewarding quirk.
Once reaching the final alleyway of the block you eventually gave up, wherever this villain was had to be far away, there was no living creature in sight.
Pouting your lips out slightly in annoyance, you turned around and made your way back to the sound of explosions going off and metal being torn apart. The boys seemed to be having too much fun taking down the robots, especially since they knew they wouldn’t have to hold back since they weren’t living.
Just about to turn the corner your movements stopped when a low chuckle echoed around you, your body quickly whipping around only to see an empty street.
Maybe it was just your imagination? Your mind always did like to play tricks on you, especially when you were alone. Shrugging it off, you continued to walk forward until an actual voice spoke up.
“My my my, you’ve grown into quite the mature young lady haven’t you?”
The sound of the voice sent chills up your spine, your brain sending off some sort of warning signals in your head. Something about this voice just seemed all too.. familiar.
Ignoring your screaming conscience in your head you gripped your (s/c) fists and looked all around you with narrowed eyes, “Reveal yourself villain, and maybe then I’ll go easy on you!”
The dark chuckling sound filled your head again, sending another wave of chills throughout your body as you began to breath heavier, looking around rapidly.
“Ahh and you have his cocky attitude too, I knew you were daddy’s little girl”
Freezing for a moment you didn’t bother looking the direction of the voice, rather letting the gears in your brain begin to move. What was this man saying, what did he know about your father or even yourself? It must be some sort of trick.
“You know nothing of my father stop fooling around!” You yelled in a clearly annoyed tone, your head whipping around while you clenched for fists, “Reveal yourself now you coward!”
Shuffling was heard from behind you, for some reason you were slow to move awaiting to hear the man’s voice once more, “Oh I don’t know of your father now? I think I know more about your parents then you do yourself child.”
Once your eyes fell on the villain it felt as if you had been hit by a train, your brain going foggy as you observed the sickly looking man.
The man was tall yet fairly lean, you would have assumed he was weak if you hadn’t taken notice of the robotic arms he had, probably giving him his strength. Those drones must be correlated to him as well. Something about him was painfully familiar but it was as if your brain was screaming at you to run, to move, to do something.
His dark chuckle seemed to snap you from your thoughts, the villain taking notice of your confused expression, “What you don’t reconize me? You think you would remember who slaughtered your beloved parents, don’t you agree?”
That was it. The sudden alarms in your brain were gone, the only thing your body could do was let your mouth drop in horror. Of course that’s who this man was. How could you forget his smug expression from the night he took your parent’s lives. The gut twisting sound of his chuckle as he mocked your very existence.
“Y..You’re Sinister Blade…” You whispered out, more to yourself than to the villain himself but he still chuckled at your shell shock, walking around you with an amused grin.
The bastard enjoyed this, he had been planning this for years probably. Just to make you miserable, to taunt you.
“Ah yes the girl finally gets it,” The villain sneered narrowing his eyes down to you, “It appears you didn’t get your mother’s brains did you?”
A twisted feeling in your gut formed upon his teasing words, knowing he was referring to your mom’s quirk to detect any disease on a human being just by touching them. You hated how much he knew about your parents, and how much he probably knew about you.
“Y..You… you monster!” You screamed while tears flowed down your cheeks, not even realizing the warm liquid had been building in your eyes this whole time, “How dare you show your face, I..I’ll kill you!”
Your sudden outburst of a threat did shock the villain at first before that smug expression returned to his features, “Oh you came to kill me now little one hm? A shame because I was actually here to kill you! I’m sure you’ve noticed my little toy drones out there to distract your pathetic friends, I’m surprised some of the top pro-heroes in the world could be distracted with those tin cans.
Anways… I did promise your parents I would kill off your family blood line before I murdered them of course, and I must admit… I’m not one to break promises.”
The amount of rage that began to flow through your veins was overwhelming, how dare he speak of your parents like this. They were the best heroes you had ever known and he was talking as if they were some pathetic humans!
“I wonder if killing you will be as easy as killing them, my the way they left themselves so open they almost deserved to die!”
That was the final straw, you weren’t going to stand for this sick bastard to trash your family name any longer. It was time to show him why the (L/n) family was still alive and running…
“You shut up!” You screamed angrily, your hands beginning to glow a sickly green color while you narrowed your (e/c) eyes to him with pure hatred, “I’m going to wipe that shit eating grin right off your disgusting face!”
The sight of your hand glowing seemed to send a surge of excitement through the man, his eyes lighting up while he clenched his own metal fists, “My goodness I just adore your feistiness! It’s almost a shame I have to kill you, you seem much more interesting then your creators. And what’s that little quirk of yours I see? Tell me, did you get mommy or daddy’s quirk?”
“You’re going to wish I got their quirks.” You growled between grit teeth before running toward the man as fast as you could. Logically running toward a half cyborg man with a quirk of yours wasn’t very smart, but you already had a plan of how to take this asshole down.
The villain had his fist out, ready to punch you as you neared him before you slid down in between his legs behind him, causing him to spin around in a distracted manner just as you planned.
Without second thought, you leaped up and used your arms to push off his shoulders to launch yourself up in order to wrap your legs around his neck.
“W..What the, what the hell is your quirk damnit?!” The villain muttered in an annoyed tone, his robotic hand beginning to glow ready to fire at your form on top of him until you pressed both hands down against his forehead, the green magic that swirled around your hands now hovering around his face.
At first the man froze beneath you, confused as to what your quirk was. Nothing was hurting but for some reason he felt dizzy… as if he were getting weaker.
Then in just mere seconds his body collapsed to the ground, sharp cries escaping his lips while you gripped onto his head with such intensity you were surprised it didn’t just explode.
“You will pay for what you did…” You hissed angrily through gritted teeth, working your quirk to the extremes.
———-
“I..I think that’s about it.” Sero called out, bending over his knees while heavily breathing.
It’s not that fighting all of the drones was hard, it was just the fact that there were so many magically appearing out of thin air. Between trying to protect the remaining civilians and actually destroying them before appeared, it was safe to say the four boys were exhausted.
“Nope, there’s still more of these fuckers.” Bakugou growled while wiping sweat from his brow, the three boys groaning in unison when more of the drones showed up.
Surprisingly they hadn’t heard anything from you, whether that was a good or bad sign they could only hope you had found the villain and were working to shut these things down.
“Well all we can do is take em down till (L/n) comes back.” Kirishima said with a sigh, his arms re-hardening while he got in a fighting stance, “Just try and get them all down so we can go look for-”
Suddenly the red haired hero was silenced when all of the incoming drones dropped to the ground, a chorus of heavy clinks being heard along the street.
“Uh…” Sero muttered, scratching his bright blond locks while the rest of the boys looked around with confused expressions.
Not that any of the boys were complaining that the restless drones had stopped coming for them, it was just odd how they fell without any reason as to why.
“(L/n) must have stopped the villain!” Kaminari said with a grin, looking back to his friends while getting ready to head down the street you disappeared to until a loud scream echoed through the streets.
All eyes looked toward the sound, a surge of fear running through Bakugou until he realized that scream couldn’t have come from you… it was too masculine.
“That must be the villain, let’s go.” Bakugou said bluntly before running off down the street, the rest of the heroes following behind him.
After running past a few blocks and hearing the sharp cries grow louder, the four finally found the source of the screaming, the scene displayed before them rather disturbing.
The villain beneath you none of the heroes had recongized, but whoever he was looked horrifying. His face was broken out into a fevered sweat while his body was covered in a nasty looking rash, a look of fear painted over his eyes.
Above the cyborg like man was your own form, your hands gripping onto his head firmly while you glared down to him with blotchy eyes, your teeth clearly grit as your quirk spread around his entire body.
“(S/o) what the fuck are you doing?!” Bakugou shouted, wondering if he should interfere since he wasn’t quite sure what was happening or why you looked so full of rage and sadness.
Without breaking your ice cold glare with the villain you growled in response to your boyfriend’s question, “I’m giving this bastard what he deserves!”
The four boys watched as the man began to shake now, his body shriveling up while he began to cough viciously.
“I know she healed that paralyzed man this morning, but that wouldn’t be causing the villain to get this rash would it?” Kirishima asked Bakugou, the ash blond himself observing the man with narrowed crimson eyes until it clicked.
Just two weeks ago you healed a dying man with a severe case of meningitis. The man was on the verge of death but you just barely saved him in time, he only assumed you deleted the illness but if this villain looked this terrible, could you be…
The villain’s desperate cries interrupted Bakugou’s thoughts, his once deep voice now high pitched and terrified as he looked at the four pro-heroes, “P..Please help me!”
“She’s gonna kill him…” Bakugou whispered in realization before his crimson eyes widened and he looked to his friends, “She’s going to kill him stop her!”
The four were quick to move, Sero and Kaminari dragging the villain away from your grasp while Bakugou and Kirishima grabbed at your arms, yanking you away from the man.
“(S/o) stop it, you’re going to fucking kill him!” Bakugou shouted, grabbing your waist firmly now while avoiding your flailing arms and legs as he dragged you away.
The villain seemed beyond thankfully to be dragged away from you, the sound of ambulance sirens music to his ears as he shriveled up, feeling as if his body was being torn up from the inside.
Meanwhile you kicked and screamed in Bakugou and Kirishima’s arms, desperately crawling at them to try and get back to the villain before your boyfriend stood before you with intense yet fearful eyes, “(S/o) what’s gotten into you, calm down!”
“N..No, he killed my parents!” You screamed, tears rolling down your face causing Bakugou to freeze. Of course that’s why you looked so angry.. this was the man who took your only family away.
Taking advantage of the ash blond being distracted, you attempted to leap after the man only for Kirishima to grab you by the waist now and hold you back as the villain tried his best to crawl away from you, the paramedics now taking care of his crippling form.
All you could do his cry and scream desperately, watching as the man who savagely took your family away get carted away. Any sort of empathy had been sucked out of you, leaving you with only rage and forgotten memories of your parents.
Kirishima looked over to his friend that stared down to you with guilty eyes, the ash blond nodding to his friend before Kirishima handed you over to your boyfriend.
Your (e/c) orbs looked up into Bakugou’s crimson ones, the look of fury and sadness in your eyes sending chills down the ash blond’s spine. The quick seconds of your silence were short lived before you broke out into cries again, gripping onto your boyfriend’s uniform while you sobbed into his chest.
“D..Don’t let him get away with this Katsuki! He took away my family!” You cried into his chest, leaving the ash blond to pull you closer against him while grabbing a fist full of your (h/c) hair into his hands.
Bakugou knew what it was like to feel rage for a certain villain, hell he wished he could blast the whole League of Villains to begin with. But as a hero he couldn’t just let you do this, knowing you would regret it in the future. All he could do was show you empathy in this very moment, hoping to coax you out of this current state of rage you were in.
“(S/o) you can’t murder someone that’s against the law,” Bakugou said as calmly as he could manage into your ear, his hand running up and down your back, “We won’t let him get away with this, his sorry ass will rot in jail forever. But you can’t stoop down to his own level by trying to kill him… that makes you just as bad as him.”
Letting out small hiccups into his chest you looked up slowly with blotchy eyes to see Bakugou looking down to you with deep crimson ones, “Your parents wouldn’t want you to kill him (S/o), they would want you to do the right thing.”
Never had the ash blond spoke wiser words to you, all the rage you had pent up inside seemed to fade away as you nodded slowly. As much as you didn’t want to admit it, he was right… killing that villain only would have made you the villain.
“Y..You’re right…” You mumbled, wiping your face before looking up to him, your lip quivering as more tears threatened to spill, “I just miss them so much, I couldn’t save them then and I thought if I could kill that guy now…”
The ash blond cut your words off by pressing you back against his chest, his calloused hand running through your locks while he let out a sigh, “Your parents would be so proud of you right now, you’re doing the right thing.”
The amount of love you felt for your boyfriend exceeded any other moment you’d had with him. The ash blond was never one for being compassionate and calm but in this very moment, even with so much chaos happening behind him he brought this vulnerable side out just for you. Just to make you happy.
Sniffling quietly you looked up to him with a half-hearted smile that made his heart skip a beat, “T..Thank you Katsuki, I love you so much.”
Bakugou looked down to you as you placed your head back down on his chest, the extreme use of your quirk no doubt exhausting your body. Even with the loud sirens in the back and the screaming officials directing the trapped civilians to safety the ash blond was able to hold you close and drown out the noise. And when and only when your eyes were closed and hidden in his chest…
A small smile creeped upon the ash blond’s lips, matching the one you pressed against his heart.
