The Patakis week has finally come to a close, and this is my final piece for it!
The context for this one is a continuation of the last one, so if you haven’t seen it or read the caption, I invite you to!
Sid, Rhonda, and Big Patty (not pictured, she would be the drummer but I didn’t want to draw a whole kit 😓) are all in a band together with Helga as the singer/writer/manager. The end of the summer is coming, meaning Arnold will have to leave back to his parents, and Helga isn’t handling it well. They get into a fight because it’s easier for her to push him away and reject him than to hold onto hope that a long distance relationship won’t slowly destroy them both over time. The band has their first big gig a week before school starts and Sid(guitar) is twisting the knife at Helga so she’ll get over Arnold, not just so she’ll perform better, but because he plans to ask her out. He thinks Helga goes hard, she’s cool and doesn’t take sh*t from anyone. However, he’ll have to break the news to Rhonda(bassist) who makes out with him after shows as an ego boost when she doesn’t have a raving fan boy.
Long story short, Arnold shows up to the gig on the night that his parents were supposed to pick him up, they decided to stay and rest for the drive the next day.
After the show, Helga apologizes to Arnold and they decide to figure it out together.
Easter egg - Helga is wearing Arnold’s shirt, shout out to Debbie Thornberry for fit inspo
I don’t think this is the end of me making Hey Arnold fan art, this week has given me a lot of cool ideas that I’d like to bring to fruition soon! However, I am open for commissions if anyone is interested, I would love to dedicate more time to stuff like this but I also have bills ☠️

I have no idea how this concert was free because it ROCKED HARD. I woke up with my neck sore as frick from headbanging, and that's when you know it's good.
But even more than that, Kevin Young has something to say. His sermons throughout the show were fantastic. People were led to Christ that night through the power of metal. People still think it summons demons, when it drives them out! You just gotta find the right band, and these men have something special. They spoke against suicide, against addiction, against depression. He reminded us that, because we woke up this morning, God still has a plan for our lives. The Christian rock scene is my home and I'd never belong anywhere else quite as well.
A bunch of Jesus loving freaks. Like me.
After the show I got the chance to speak to the band. I was explaining my appreciation to them for being leading forces in the Christian alternative movement and for making it easier to be so different. To be rejected by both rock elitists and the religious. Young interrupted me and just opened his arms. I didn't have to explain. He already knew.
Rockers are family. But Christian rockers?
We are held by a bond of brokenness and eternity: the outstretched arms of Jesus.
(The band saw my "Long Live the Rebels" shirt I painted and posted. They also complimented my look, so my diy and fashion dreams are pretty much complete at this point lol)

I like this design so im sharing it! feeling nostalgic about su these days...
A single gem who got inspired by Earth's 'impressionist' art. He's an artist that paints with liquid paint, as opposed to Homeworld's normalized digital art. He paints mostly landscapes, but occasionally has other gems appear in his paintings. He's always looking for inspiration and sees the beauty in everything. He has his own garden, full of aquatic plants similar to nympheas and trees that look like willows.
Inspired by this Black Opal! it made me think of Monet's Nympheas immediately, so i had to do a design about it!
