Of the RWBY villains, which one(s) is/are your favorite(s)?

I love when you show up :D

So I’ve been thinking about this for a bit, and this is based off my current knowledge with where I’m at in the series. Honestly, the villains I tend to like are the ones that eventually change their ways, like Hazel and to my surprise Emerald, cause she annoyed me for a bit.

However.

I thought about it some more and I was like. You know. Out of everyone so far. The only guy that’s ever been like a serious threat from start to end is Tyrian. Like he’s just full psychotic and cruel, kills for pleasure. He’s like a rabid lapdog. I see him more a threat than even Cinder.

Pretty scary guy, gotta say.

I love Summer and Ruby because one of the biggest criticisms that RWBY gets in regards to them is how Summer is just a carbon copy of Ruby and there wasn't enough effort put in to her design to differentiate the two.

And while the counterargument has always been that that choice was deliberate to show how Ruby idolizes Summer, we now have Ruby's emblem, the symbol that represents Ruby Rose, being an heirloom gifted to her by her mother. This girl truly crafted in entire being into being exactly like her hero mother in ways we didn't even notice.

Realizing that while planning a "RWBY rewrite for just me to have fun" fic that I actually can just do things I want instead of conforming to what I think is 'the smartest choice' is actually freeing and idk why I wasn't planning the 'for me to have fun' fic for me to have fun before but yeah.

I don't want to kill off Jaune during the Fall of Beacon and instead want him to become a healer/support who takes a backseat to Ruby, so now that's part of my plan.

I don't want Pyrrha to die and I want everyone to think she's dead only for her to be alive later and for her to play a possible role in Emerald and Mercury's redemption, so now that's part of my plan.

I also want to bring Penny back in Atlas and want Roman to have survived the Fall of Beacon and wind up redeemed even though 'everyone who died is alive actually' would be a bad tiresome choice in real media.

I should cut down on the amount of characters that need attention, but I kinda want to keep Sun around, make Ciel a bigger part of things, make Whitley a bigger part of things, make May a bigger part of things so why the heck not?!

Kinda feel like the entire concept of main characters dropping into a different world separate from Remnant is a very bad idea that threw off the momentum of the main show and felt very disconnected and contrived, but also it would be a lot of fun for me to adapt it alongside some Coraline and Over the Garden Wall inspiration rather than Wonderland which I've never been that into. So you know what? I'm gonna put it in my plan!

Fun rewrite are supposed to be fun!
