The things humans see in the stars is so telling.

We put stories in the stars as soon as we developed language. We put God's both flawed and flawless to entertain, protect and punish us. We put great hunters and beings to control the sun and seasons. We put our dead and loved ones there, streets or gold, endless fields, giant monsters to remind us we are small and temporary.

Then in the 60s we put the enterprise into the stars. We imagined a world where humans moved passed capitalism, racism, sexism, homo/transphobia and abelism. We put stories of inclusion and healing and unification. And every star trek sense adds more. "Infinite diversity in Infinite combinations" only makes sense to be lit up in the stars.
