Not all melanated brothers who date outside of their community have self hatred. Not all dislike or disrespect melanated sisters. Not all have a preference that doesn’t include you. My husband has dated white women in the past. So what? He loves women period. Please stop projecting your insecurities.

i love how when u like to get high every once in awhile if even if ur lucky ur an evil unhealthy addict who doesnt care about anyone and it 'changes your personality' but when someone else takes pills every day that are going to give them early dementia before even trying Not Being Dependent on a Drug and looking for another solution they are good and healthy and morally correct and it definitely doesn't affect their personality at all even a little bit and it's definitely 100% safe to stay dependent on a drug for your mental health for years and years (ignore the long term side effect studies PLEASE we NEED your MONEY) and your plug is an evil person for giving people their fix but their psychiatrist is good and correct for giving people chemical lobotomies and somehow the fact that you get high sometimes means you're a badwrong person and is the same exact thing for your health as being addicted to meth crack and heroin.

and by love i mean hate. stop treating addiction like a moral judgement, stop expressing judgement disguised as fake concern that someone is an addict despite them not being dependent on or addicted to what you take issue with stop thinking you know what everyone's health and life looks like stop acting superior because your drugs are govt-sanctioned stop treating all substance use like it belongs in the same category of 'problem' because I am pretty damn sure that having a trip every once in awhile is not remotely the same thing as taking something daily and worrying that if you get off it it could actually literally kill you. genuinely. leave drug users the fuck alone and if you want to express concern do it with maybe someone you actually know well like family who you see is actively dependent on something and instead of telling them "stop ur a bad person u need to stop immediately" ASK THEM WHATS UP AND IF THEYRE DOING OK. ASK THEM WHY THEY TAKE WHAT THEY TAKE DAILY. ASK THEM IF THEY'VE TRIED ANY ALTERNATIVES AND REALLY LISTEN AND BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE AND STRUGGLES. SOMETIMES THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE AND YOU CAN SUPPORT THE PERSON YOU CARE ABOUT IN LOOKING FOR HELP. SOMETIMES THERE JUST ISN'T AND YOU NEED TO FUCKING SUPPORT THEM ANYWAY AND NOT JUDGE THEM FOR WHAT DRIVES THEM TO ADDICTION OR DEPENDENCE BECAUSE TRUST ME NO ONE BECOMES AND STAYS AN ADDICT FOR FUN. as a dsmp fan who’s afraid to say they are a dsmp fan, here’s a little psa

people can like what they want. not everyone is going to be in that awful side of the fandom. i got bullied by my own friends for liking it and yesterday i was bullied out of a server for it.

i like tommy’s vlogs, i like charlie and james marriott and wilbur and schlatt. these creators are FUNNY and they make me happy.

of course i don’t agree with some of the stuff they’ve done, but the wrong thing to do is pull up a google spreadsheet of every single wrongdoing of everything they’ve ever done like you’ve had it ready this whole time. because i can name so many creators who have done worse, but you don’t see me bashing your interests.

i don’t mean for my tumblr page to become a rant one but the public needs to hear this. STOP HATING ON PEOPLE FOR BEING A PART OF A FANDOM. not everyone is going to be as awful as, you know, and judging a thing by its fandom is exactly the problem.

Why do people always have to judge how u cope with shit 🤦‍♂️ like me personally I cope with the shit going on in my life with horror movies and nicotine I know it's not the healthiest way but it helps me get through everything going on. Like can we stop juading the ways others cope?? (Only if it's not something downright disgusting and morally wrong or against the law) like just leave people the fuck alone and let them have the things that help them cope.

I know this is probably gonna start a long discussion, and I'd like to point out first and foremost that everyone has their own opinion and mine are not there to change anyone's mind, but I think this "lets hate everything that has to do with HP world because JKR has been a massive idiot, so let's judge and shun everyone that's excited about new HP things " is going a bit overboard. For me the books have been a solace, they made me grow to be more understanding, to accept each person as they are, to not judge, regardless of their views or beliefs. Regardless of what I think is right or wrong. Because if you go and look at it, no one is without blame. At one point in our life, we have all been insensitive, we have said the wrong thing. I am not condoning her words or actions, I felt deeply betrayed by them in contrast to the world she built and that I perceived that it made me a bit sick to think about it. But I cannot not be excited to have more of this world come to life, I'll take all the good and make a good arguments of the bad to educate people around me, not to change their minds but to give them a different perspective and something to think on. I am learning new things every day, about me and those around me, people I know and people I don't. It just doesn't seem fair to see posts that say "don't talk to people you know anymore if they are excited about the new HP TV show/game". Having been part of the fandom from the start, I think a lot of people are missing the point of what that fandom really is. That fandom is not JKR and her views. It's a lot of people from so many different backgrounds that have come together, made friends, changed things, made a family out of outcasts and not, just accepted unconditionally whoever wanted to be a part of it. To me HP has always meant that. Accept yourself with your faults and don't fault others for theirs, talk, understand, communicate and most importantly, don't be an hypocrite saying that someone is a d**k because they have different opinions than yours or don't accept someone else for their differences. At that point you're only creating more hate and fuelling a fire that really just needs to be fu****g extinguished.

I can't be the only one in this world who finds it very disgusting that people judges others who desperately wants to be better than their mistakes and past. Like, nobody is perfect, not even the ones who judges you. So if you come across people who will immediately judge you by using your background against you, tell them to look in the mirror. Because the people who judges like that thinks they can use your background against you, but they can't because you learn from your mistakes and move on.

I still don’t get the point of being pro-life and being against abortion PERIOD.

Some of these people are taking their personal feelings to the next level. I get if YOU don’t want to get an abortion ever personally, but that doesn’t make it right to take everyone’s right to abortion away. You aren’t taking away abortion. You’re taking away SAFE abortion.

And before you call me a baby killer, stop. I personally WOULD NEVER get an abortion unless my life was in danger, however, I’m not going to stand in the way of others choosing to get one.

I’m Pro-Choice all the way.

Also, stop yelling at peoples outside of planned parenthoods. You look stupid. Abortions aren’t the only thing that they do and not ALL Planned Parenthood’s do abortions. They also offer cancer screenings, help with getting birth control, sex ed, STD testing, Treatments to prevent HIV infection, infertility services and more. You’re foolish to judge people going into places like this when you don’t even know what they’re there for. Anyways, You only care about the child until they’re born and sometimes (not all the time) because of it being forced on the birth parent(s), that child could end up being mistreated or abandoned. Practice what you preach and go foster some kids or even adopt since their lives are “so precious” to you.
