It isn't weird or creepy, it doesn't make you lonely or a loser or whatever. You are allowed to just exist as yourself.

If anyone can rally up a base, it’s Taylor Swift.
When sexually explicit, likely AI-generated, fake images of Swift circulated on social media this week, it galvanized her fans. Swifties found phrases and hashtags related to the images and flooded them with videos and photos of Swift performing. “Protect Taylor Swift” went viral, trending as Swifties spoke out against not just the Swift deepfakes, but all nonconsensual, explicit images made of women.
Swift, arguably the most famous woman in the world right now, has become the high-profile victim of an all-too-frequent form of harassment. She has yet to comment on the photos publicly, but her status gives her power to wield in a situation where so many women have been left with little recourse. Deepfake porn is becoming more common as generative artificial intelligence gets better: 113,000 deepfake videos were uploaded to the most popular porn websites in the first nine months of 2023, a significant increase to the 73,000 videos uploaded throughout 2022. In 2019, research from a startup found that 96 percent of deepfakes on the internet were pornographic.
The content is easy to find on search engines and social media, and has affected other female celebrities and teenagers. Yet, many people don’t understand the full extent of the problem or its impact. Swift, and the media mania around her, has the potential to change that.
“It does feel like this could be one of those trigger events” that could lead to legal and societal changes around nonconsensual deepfakes, says Sam Gregory, executive director of Witness, a nonprofit organization focused on using images and videos for protecting human rights. But Gregory says people still don’t understand how common deepfake porn is, and how harmful and violating it can be to victims.
If anything, this deepfake disaster is reminiscent of the 2014 iCloud leak that led to nude photos of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton spreading online, prompting calls for greater protections on people's digital identities. Apple ultimately ramped up security features.
A handful of states have laws around nonconsensual deepfakes, and there are moves to ban it on the federal level, too. Rep. Joseph Morelle (D-New York) has introduced a bill in Congress that would make it illegal to create and share deepfake porn without a person’s consent. Another House bill from Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-New York) seeks to give legal recourse to victims of deepfake porn. Rep. Tom Kean, Jr. (R-New Jersey), who in November introduced a bill that would require the labeling of AI content, used the viral Swift moment to draw attention to his efforts: “Whether the victim is Taylor Swift or any young person across our country—we need to establish safeguards to combat this alarming trend,” Kean said in a statement.
This isn’t the first time that Swift or Swifties have tried to hold platforms and people accountable. In 2017, Swift won a lawsuit she brought against a radio DJ who she claimed groped her during a meet-and-greet. She was awarded $1—the amount she sued for, and what her attorney Douglas Baldridge called a symbolic sum “the value of which is immeasurable to all women in this situation.”
Last fall, tens of thousands of people registered to vote after the superstar posted a link to Vote.org on Instagram. And in 2022, her fan base, so enraged after waiting hours to buy tickets to the Eras Tour only to be beaten out by bots, reignited conversation around antitrust issues with Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s mega-merger. A cringy Senate hearing followed, and an investigation into Live Nation’s agreements with venues and artists is ongoing.
Swift and her fans could advocate for legal changes at the federal level to pass. But their outrage could do something else: lead platforms to take notice. “When you have a really massive group of users saying this content is unacceptable in this very high-profile way, the power there is about what it says to the platform about what users will and won’t tolerate,” says Cailin O’Connor, a professor of philosophy at University of California, Irvine and coauthor of The Misinformation Age: How False Beliefs Spread. X did not respond to a request for comment on the images and its moderation efforts regarding deepfake porn. Elon Musk bought the site in 2022 and quickly gutted its moderation teams. Advertisers have also dropped off recently after Musk’s apparent endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
It’s not clear whether Swift will take on this issue. A representative for Swift did not respond to a request for comment for this story. Harassment of female celebrities is frequent and often brushed aside, but deepfakes are harming them and others without the same power. This could be a moment for Swift to use her powerful platform—or at least for her fans to push the issue before the public.

Listens to MC’s songs when he needs to unwind. Just listening to their voice makes him feel relaxed and happier.

After getting reprimanded for seeing MC’s celebrity status as a way to make money, he will act all cocky. Like, of course, it’s his human who’s a big idol with an even bigger fanbase. After all, the Avatar of Greed doesn’t make pacts with just anyone, y'know?
Will take his role as their first demon very seriously.
Will also sell autographed pictures of them. I can see him one day just barging into MC’s room with a stack of photos and asking them to sign each one of them.
But he will be greedy with one thing; their voice. He’ll ask them to sing some songs of theirs when the two are alone, preferably in one of their rooms. At that time he’ll set his tsundere nature aside, and if MC looks at him, they’ll see that he’s closed his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips as he listens attentively.
He will become pouty if they sing for his brothers though.

He definitely knew about MC before they came to Devildom, and almost passed out when he saw them for the first time.
He’d be a stuttering, blushing mess of a demon at first, but as time goes by, he’ll become more comfortable with having them around.

Satan does worry about their safety though. He knows that some people can be rather creepy with how they interact with MC, so he has designated himself as their bodyguard.
Reads up on musical theory and likes to talk with them about it. Sometimes he even helps them write songs, though the ones he assists with always somehow end up being about cats or overly angsty and violent songs.

Squealed in pure joy when he saw MC for the first time and nearly got hung upside down by Lucifer
Asmo is always up to date with the newest trends, so obviously he’d heard about the up and coming sensation that was MC. May or may not have been thinking of paying them a little visit in the Human Realm before they were dropped into the Devildom-
Asks them to perform for him, but if they’re uncomfortable with that, he’ll settle for watching videos of their past performances, provided they are next to him.
He’s a highly sought after demon, so he’s had his fair share of experience with obsessed fans. He uses his charm whenever he feels like someone is making MC uncomfortable or has bad intentions.
Asmo often gushes about them on his Devilgram. There is an account devoted solely to record memories of him and them, and although it has more followers than his own account, he finds that he doesn’t really mind it.
Beelzebub
Is very proud of MC for still being caring and humble, even when they’re a celebrity. Beel is the part of the RAD Fangol team, and he’s seen firsthand how praise and fame can go to one’s head with a bunch of his teammates, so he really admires MC’s down-to-earth behavior.
Soft protector worries about MC a lot.
Always makes sure that they have enough to eat, and will make sure that they eat a well-balanced meal three times a day.
Beel likes work out with MC, sometimes dragging Belphie to the gym as well.
Very protective of MC, he’s always around them. And if for some reason he cannot look after them, he’ll entrust them to Belphie or any other brother of his.
Belphegor
The first thought that comes to his mind is dragging MC to take a nap with him. After all, being a celebrity must be exhausting, right? Always giving your best and entertaining fans must be hard work, so MC should rest a little.
MC thought he was clingy before? Belphie will literally cling to them at all times now, stating that he cannot go to sleep unless they sing him something.
On days when MC is tired or not around, he’ll fall asleep to the recordings of lullabies that he made them sing for him beforehand.
Uses his ability on them to give them good dreams, so that they’re refreshed and energetic the next day.
And if there were any demonic or human fans of MC who tried to harass them? Yeah, they’re not gonna see them for a long, long time…. And no MC, he didn’t have anything to do with it, don’t give him that look-

From bases in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, the gangs coerce their captives into carrying out complicated online scams that prey on the lonely and vulnerable around the world. Typically, such hoaxes involve using fake online identities to draw people into fictitious romantic relationships, then tricking them into handing over large sums of money in bogus cryptocurrency schemes. The scam is known as “pig butchering,” for the process involved in gaining the trust of its targets, which can take weeks — fattening up the pig, so to speak — before going in for the kill. Many of the people who have been abducted and forced to work for the scam gangs are Chinese, because the groups initially focused on stealing from people in China. But the gangs’ targets have expanded internationally. In the United States, the F.B.I. reported that in 2022, Americans lost more than $2 billion to “pig butchering” and other investment scams. Increasingly, people from India, the Philippines and more than a dozen other countries have also been trafficked to work for scam gangs, prompting Interpol to declare the trend a global security threat. The criminal groups try to break their captives with a mix of violence and twisted logic. Those who disobey are beaten. Once they start working, the victims are often led to believe that they have become complicit in the crime and would face jail time if they returned to their countries. The gangs often take away the abductees’ passports and let their visas expire, creating immigration complications.

A Palestinian woman sits on the ground, embracing her deceased toddler who's draped in a white sheet. Tears stream down her face as she silently cries and murmurs the word "alhamdulillah," a humble acknowledgement in Arabic that Muslims use to express gratitude and thankfulness to God regardless of difficult circumstances they may be encountering.
That expression of faith touched millions of viewers on social media, even resulting in life-changing decisions for some. And the 25-year-old Abbey Hafez, who’s married to a Muslim man and identified herself as a Christian, was one of them.
The American social media influencer began reading the Quran after watching this video and being captivated by the Palestinian mother's devotion. Sharing her story in an interview, she said, "I need to read this book and see what it is that they believe in to be this steadfast in their faith."
Like Hafez, whose videos have garnered over 35 million views online, there’s a widespread trend across Western countries where people are taking a keen interest in knowing Islam beyond its stereotypical portrayal peddled by mainstream media for decades.
From famous celebrities to activists with millions of followers, the trend of individuals announcing their decision to embrace Islam or, at the very least, start reading the Quran has become increasingly common on social media since October 7.
Examples include Henry Klassen, a renowned ophthalmology professor at the University of California, and former Spanish football player Jose Ignacio Peleterio converting to Islam. Hollywood star Will Smith has also expressed his interest in reading the Quran. In another instance, at least 30 women announced their conversion to Islam in Melbourne, Australia, deeply moved by witnessing the strong faith of Palestinians.

The Snowball Effect
Feelings of solidarity, empathy or sympathy with Palestinians might contribute to the wish to learn more about their background and faith, Dr Vanessa Vroon of Social and Behavioural Sciences at University of Amsterdam explains.
Once people start to educate themselves about Islam, they often realise that “it is different from what they learn from the often negative media coverage of Islam in Western countries,” she tells TRT World.
When asked about what might be the political roots and implications of these conversions, Vroon says, “Politics are known to play a role in so far as people ask themselves: is Islam really that bad?”
“What might make a difference in light of the Palestine-Israel conflict is that in the news, day in day out, people see that amidst the devastation of war, Palestinians turn to Allah for help and strength. This, again, might be a first impetus to start learning more about their religion, possibly become convinced of its truth and consider becoming Muslim oneself,” she adds.
A young American woman, Megan Rice, was among the pioneers in sharing her exploration of Islam online, inspired by the Palestinian people. She began posting videos discussing her journey into Islam, particularly after purchasing the Quran, which garnered interest from her followers, prompting them to consider buying the holy book themselves.
While interacting with her followers and responding to their queries largely about her learning of the Quran, Rice established a digital book club where people could exchange thoughts and interpretations of Quranic passages. The number of Western individuals who have begun reading the Quran and sharing numerous videos detailing their positive and enriching experiences has thus increased over the months.
Megan's journey experienced a profound transformation as she evolved from being influenced by others to becoming an influencer herself, assuming the role of an initiator within her newfound community after her conversion to Islam. Now, she actively continues her social media activism by spearheading various campaigns.
The new young social media users aren’t just bold enough to reject Western states’ blind support for every Israeli action, challenge media biases, and seek truth through independent research; they also aimed to inspire others to join their quest for a more nuanced understanding of the colonial occupation.
Another American woman, 32-year-old author and content designer Kaitlyn Luckow, currently residing in Germany, launched a BookTok series—a type of content on TikTok where users share, discuss, and review books—after October 7 to impart knowledge on the history of Palestine.
“I knew I had to use the platform I had –regardless of how small it may be– to share learnings, resources, and books. I don’t know everything and I’m learning every single day. And if I can encourage others to do the same, then maybe we can collectively demand and create systemic change,” she told TRT World.
People around the world, especially the youth, are starting to open their eyes and educate themselves, Luckow believes, as they go on social media every day and watch as innocent humans are being murdered while their governments try to convince them that this is the right thing to do to protect their own interests.
Despite receiving numerous hateful comments every day, she remains determined to encourage people to question mainstream media narratives and embark on their own journeys of learning about pressing issues.
“While I am under no illusion that I am going to change someone's opinion immediately, I am hopeful that maybe I can help plant a seed of doubt regarding the information they are receiving and how to become more media literate,” she says.

TikTok Says It All
Experts say that 2014 was a pivotal year in shaping a new generation's understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. During that year, a war in Gaza resulted in the deaths of over 2,250 Palestinians, coinciding with protests erupting in the US when the police shot Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old black man.
The global youth’s opinion on Palestine took on a new dimension also when the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in Jerusalem witnessed settler occupation in May 2021. It marked the first time Palestinians, whose homes were occupied, could share detailed accounts of the Israeli occupation as it unfolded, thanks to Instagram's live-streaming feature. Notably, these accounts went viral, and people watched Israeli forces trying to expel the el-Kurd family from their homes for weeks.
Following these events, with TikTok surpassing Google in website visits in 2022 and experiencing the fastest growth to over a billion users among all social media apps, the collective memory of Palestine among the youth in the West began to take shape.
Right after the October 7 attack, a wave of online self-education has unfolded as TikTok users started posting videos inviting open discussions about the ongoing conflict, leading to many conversations delving into the history of Israeli occupation.
From October 16th to 30th, there were nearly four times as many views organically on TikTok posts with the hashtag #StandwithPalestine globally as there were on posts with the hashtag #StandwithIsrael, the Chinese app announced, in response to the accusations that it was pushing pro-Palestine videos deliberately, subtly influencing the youth of America.
The millennials and Gen-Z, who are the primary users of the app, are more aware that the Israel-Palestine conflict did not originate on October 7th. A recent survey indicates a notable generational difference in the American perspective on support for either Israel or Palestine, with younger generations showing a more pronounced pro-Palestine stance and increased scrutiny of US policies regarding the conflict.

The Counter-Effect
While TikTok and its young users remain a notable aspect of West-Islam interaction, the phenomenon of increased interest in Islam following catastrophes in the Muslim world is nothing new.
The September 11 attacks in 2001 marked the initial exposure to Islam for many Westerners, initiating a transformation. This shift has led to significant growth in the Muslim population in the United States, with numbers increasing from an estimated 1 million to 2.6 million between 2000 and 2010—a 67 percent surge—making Islam the second-largest religious group in the country and the fastest-growing religion in the world.
People who then first learned about this religion and began exploring it out of curiosity often mention experiencing a significant shift in mindset after realising that the religion stands in stark contrast to the extremist ideologies acclaimed by those responsible for the attacks.
“From September 11 onwards, you couldn't find a single newspaper in the United States that did not mention the words "Islam" and "Muslims" daily or weekly for years, and it has obviously had consequences,” says Wilfredo Amr Ruiz, the Communications Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Florida.
He mentions that it was in the early 2000s when pioneering academic institutions around the world began conducting studies on fields such as Islamic studies, Muslims civilizational studies, and Christian-Muslim relations.
"Whenever Muslims are portrayed, whether positively or negatively, people become curious about who Muslims are and what Islam entails. Usually when we talk about social media, the first thing people would think of is photos, reels etc., those entertainment stuff right? But do you know that social media is actually being used to prompt political movements as well? Let’s explore how and why it was done.
Digital citizenship and its importance
Before we dive into all that political stuff, I want to talk a lil bout digital citizenship. Anyone who utilizes computers, the Internet, or other digital devices to interact with society on any level, in a responsible manner, is considered to be practicing digital citizenship (Zook 2022). Basically, we can understand it as people who use the internet. Majority of us are digital citizens, more so ever since the Covid-19 pandemic. The reason I brough up digital citizenship is because it is intertwined with social media activism. Social media activism refers to the creation of ‘space’ (or we can think of it as public sphere) for organization, groups, and citizens to pursue justice through the utilization of social media to elevate opinions and stories, raise awareness and build relationships (Maryville n.d.). Digital citizenship is vital and should be fostered as it educates young folks how to use technology responsibly to avoid online dangers and advocate for human rights online, such as confidentiality security, and liberty (USIDHR 2022). With more news and media sources, fraud, misinformation, and disinformation increase hence, vital to being able to differentiate reputable sources from its counterparts. The idea is that for activism to be successful, we (the supporters) need to know which information to believe. The next section explore scenarios where social media is used to promote activism.

In 2014, there was famous trend on social media, especially Facebook. YES, you guess it. The purpose of this challenge was to raise awareness to fight the ALS disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The ice bucket challenge was a huge social media movement success with more than 17 million participations globally and 2.5 million participants from those donated an aggregated $110million for the ALS Association (Trejos 2017).

Another famous activism case would be the #BlackLivesMatter on social media. In 2020, Black Lives Matter propaganda flooded social media. Hashtags like #BlackLivesMatter and #BlackOutTuesday were popular on social media, and tweets about demonstrations and petitions were incessant. How it all began? The #BlackLivesMatter hashtag was used first in 2013 to raise awareness of racism against the black when George Zimmerman was acquitted for killing Trayvon Martin (Gawthrop & Illingworth 2022). The killing of another black teenager, Michael Brown, in the following year made the public believe that police violence against black people is a recurring problem in America that is frequently disregarded. The #BlackLivesMatter campaign blew up when the officer who killed Brown was deemed innocent by the court. The hashtag appeared more than 1.7 million times on Twitter in mere 3 weeks (Santoro 2020). These hashtags were used to demonstrate support with the BLM movement and educate people about racism (Evans 2020). Social media was utilized to alert people about BLM demonstrations and petitions to reform police brutality policy. Millions of petition signatures and contributions to BLM campaigns funded legal counsel and bail for many jailed protestors, as well as inquiries into the killings of other African Americans killed by police violence (Blackwell-Pal 2020). Finally, social media has helped spread the ‘defund the cops’ campaign massively. This movement promotes tackling police violence by cutting police budget and diverting that money into education and housing (Balsamo 2020).

In the physical realm, the words of professionals, celebrities, leaders, famous athletes hold great weight. But, what about those who don’t posses a title or power. Naturally, their words are less credible. On social media, everybody is ‘equal’ in the sense that if what they say matters and relatable to the majority, they can gain attention very quickly (Khiry 2020). I am sure we are all no strangers to account on Instagram that post random positive quotes and gain tons of followers. The owner could be just a little kid. That’s the power of social media. Social media activism can be started by anyone, not like physical activism, there usually needs to be a leader or some sort of advocates. Besides, social media provide great accessibility in the sense that everybody, wherever and whenever can be a part of the conversation and this is excellent for people who are busy or disabled.

In conclusion, while social media is a great tool for activism, users like us need to take note of some potential downfalls. Overexposure to social media movements may desensitize one’s passion regarding issues due to its passiveness (Gervais 2021). Also, we usually tend to jump to conclusion when we still don’t get the full picture (Matherly 2021). This may create confirmation and anchoring biases within us and lead us to lean towards a particular side (which could be bad side) (MasterClass 2021). With misinformation becoming more serious, it is important for social media users to always remind themselves that there are always two sides to a coin.

There are various NPCs you can talk to and befriend (which have friend quests if you get far enough) as well as these spots where you can have your drone record you doing a vlog, an interview with someone, or on rare occasions a livestream (which takes energy as it goes on and is basically a rhythm game without the music). There are three neighborhoods, which you choose which to live in when starting out, with different stores, people, and landmarks. Most of your time will most likely be spent outside. A/n: damn I can't write anything except actress reader? smh but this is for @londonspidey ‘s sit-com Writing challenge (ik I'm early lol) but I was so excited I wrote the whole thing in one go lmao the prompt is bolded!

Calling yourself a fan was an understatement. You were obsessed with anything and everything marvel. And oddly enough, you could after today say you were in the club. It wasn’t a public fact yet, until later that day actually, at the Marvel panel at comic con that you were being announced as the actress for the character, Felica Hardy and no one else knew except for the people who cast you and your best friend who signed an NDA. You were technically still a known actress for your roles on television mainly as Thalia on the PJO Disney + series and a couple of still decently sized films. 
You were currently wrapping up signing autographs for fans of yours for today. Your team had planned it out so it wasn’t suspicious that you were at the con with a few of your castmates scattered doing other junkets and press so people wouldn’t guess who they were acting as the cast for new marvel projects. 
You had been planning to go meet your best friend, who wasn’t in the industry before getting a text that she bought you both a photo-op with someone and she wouldn’t tell you who. You couldn’t only assume it was a marvel actor that you would indeed, freak out. 
Y/b/n: btw I brought you a mask. I get the wig lol.
You: please tell me it doesn’t cover my full face. Also, how are we posing?
Y/b/n: I bought as many photo ops as I could so a lot of different ones, And if I tell you the poses it’ll spoil it.
You: is this with the money I pay you to be my assistant with? Lol fine I’m omw with security
Y/b/n: maybe… 
Y/b/n: and they’ll need more backup security for who we’re getting a photo op with than you do for your hellfire.
You roll your eyes before taking your stuff and exiting the booth, before heading out the backways with staff security and your detailed security for the day. You only had security because you wanted to explore the con when you weren’t needed.
Your best friend had also been your assistant for the con weekend, but you didn’t want her to be confined to you the whole three days so when she could, you would let her explore it, at least she could experience it as a fan, right?
When you made it to that part of the building, you wanted to wait in line with her, which your security didn’t agree to so she texted you when there were about five people ahead of her. She was one of the last in line, with you asking her to be kind, so others would get their chance to be first with whomever it was. 
When she texted you and your detailed exit, getting a few stares and others taking their phones out to either take photos or tweet, you wave at them before joining your best friend in line.
“Here,” she says before handing you none other than a black cat mask before she puts on a red wig. 
You glare at her slightly trying to not make a scene, before putting it on. 
“I’m assuming you're Mary Jane?” you laugh figuring out that it had to be someone from Spider-Man.
“How’d you- never mind.” She laughs with you.
She then explains how she’s going to pose for your five photo ops, joking in between how she should “get a raise for this”.
You catch sight of him before sucking in your breath. This was either going to go down amazingly or terribly, there was no in-between with you. 
“Excuse Me, are you Y/n Y/l/n?”
You turn around and are met by some fans who were standing in line behind you.
“I am! How’s your con going?” you ask politely to the two of them.
“It's going amazing! We love you as Thalia! Could we maybe get a picture? Only if it’s okay?”
“Of course! Thank you for supporting me!” your best friend grabs their phone to take the photo, before you take off the mask, and stand between the two fans, and your best friend snaps a few photos. 
“Thank you so much! And Are you fans of Tom?”
You start slowly walking back to catch up to the line. 
“Yeah, I love him as Spiderman, but I also enjoy his other roles. He's very talented, I'd love to work with him one day!” 
“Have you seen him in Uncharted?  We love Him as Nathan drake!”
“I have, he was amazing per usual! How are you two posing with him?”
They show you their innovative pose. You laugh and tell them it's great before you have to wish them goodbye before heading up for your turn for the photo op. 
“How do we want to pose- hang on, I recognize you!”
You freeze slightly before your friend mouths for you to flirt. You look down at the mask in your hand before getting into character and saying “Of course you do Spidey, I'm always causing you trouble.” you put on the mask and wink. 
He seems slightly stunned, laughing, feeling like he’s seen you somewhere, not only because he found you extremely gorgeous, while in his peripheral vision he sees his brother/ assistant, Harry waving like a madman on the side. 
Your friend directs you both through the poses, first, one both him putting “webs” onto you as she looks over his shoulder, the second one, both of you kissing his cheeks, the third, all jumping in the air in your best superhero poses, the fourth one she gets a photo op alone and the last one she gives to you,
“Seriously, who are you?”
“Your Wildest dreams, baby,” you say, taking off the mask. 
Your best friend yells “freestyle” from the sidelines before Tom dips you, gently, with you shocked, holding the mask out with your free arm and the photo captures that moment. 
 He gently helps you stand back up fully, not before you drop the mask.
“Nice moves Spider-Man.”
“Not so bad yourself, Black Cat.”
You laugh before, taking off with your best friend, well more her dragging you to the printing station leaving the mask behind. Tom picks it up before shoving it in his back pocket to hopefully give back if he could find you.

`You were sitting in the green room, trending on Twitter before you were actually supposed to be trending on Twitter, and god knows where else.  
Someone had snuck a video of you and Tom, up till him dipping you, and a video of you interacting with the fans in the line.
Your Y/b/n was currently reading off some tweets out loud
“‘A kind queen we stan.’  I agree, I also agree with ‘Date her if you can't date me tom!!!’.
‘THALIA AND PETER PARKER??? My two fandoms have collided.’ same, same. Oo this one says, ‘if she ain’t playing black cat I will sue marvel.’ I'm dying at the reply ‘She needs to post the photos or I'll sue her!’. This one’s funny, ‘she could squash him like a bug in heels but he liked his queen like that.’.”
She pauses watching you texting.
“Y/n? Y/n?”
“What? Sorry I was only half listening. I was texting my publicist. She said to stay on the DL until tonight. 
“Well we should get food, you haven't eaten since this morning.”
“By the way, your show has shot to number one on Disney +. Also, you have like three times the followers you had before, probably cause you're trending on every platform, even Tumblr!”
“Wow you should just become my social media manager now.” you joke trying to ease the joy yet weirded out feeling in your stomach.
“Does that come with a raise? Because after today I've spent way too much of what I'm paid.” she jokes back.

After finishing his photo ops Tom asked Harry who she was and to find out. By the time he finished autographs for the day, Tom and Harry walked to the panel room in the back for announcements, one that included him for the new Avengers movie, while Harry gave him the rundown.
“So she’s an actress, she plays Thalia on Disney plus’ Percy Jackson series, and that's her most known project. The other girl with her is her assistant best friend, and now she's trending everywhere. People dug up some old photos of her being a marvel/Spider-Man fan, so there's that. And she's here at the con for the rest of the weekend. She's doing photo ops tomorrow at one, and yes she's single from what I gather since you were looking at her like this.” he makes a weird face before tom smacks him.
“And plus you have time in your schedule to get a photo op with her, that is if you eat lunch quickly.”
That gave Tom an idea. 
“Harry I’m going to need you to book me one, oh and help me find a Spider-Man costume!” He says, before leaving harry to do ‘assistant’ work. entering the green room for the announcements, watching them announce a new movie.
“We are so excited to announce to the Marvel Universe, and spider-verse-” that perked tom’s ears, “-directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and today we are announcing our amazing Miss Felicia Hardy, please give a warm welcome to the stage, Your Black Cat!”
You suddenly emerged in an aisle way, dressed in all black with a leather jacket, black ankle boots, and of course black sunglasses indoors.
The music is marvel music until it suddenly changes after a recorded laugh from you into “I can’t be tamed by Miley Cyrus”.
You start owning the music while saying hi and touching fans’ hands. You decide to take off your sunglasses and throwing them to a fan, for them to keep, before getting on stage.
“What a Performance from the one the only Y/n Y/l/n!”
You laugh, being met with the loudest applause you had heard all con before being handed a Mic. 
“Thank you but I'm a terrible dancer.” You Joke.
Tom was staring at the screen stunned. You had been the black cat all along. You were in the marvel universe and spidey one,  so he'd definitely be seeing more of you. The hard part is that you seemed so genuine when you talked, interacted with fans and was no doubt, stunning. 
“Better close your mouth or the flies will get in.” Tom turns around to find the voice of none other than his friend slash bully, Sebastian Stan, along with Anthony Mackie.
“Looks like the kid has a crush!” Anthony laughs, pointing to the screen you were on.
“I-I don’t! I don’t even know her!” Tom tries to come to his own defense, hopelessly.
“She’s got you whipped already don’t even deny it.” Harry comes in, joining the teasing of one, Tom Holland.
“Maybe we can invite her out for drinks tonight, then fanboy over here can meet her, and then probably scare her off!” Anthony mentions.
“You haven’t looked on the internet? They’ve already met.” Seb says, before showing Anthony twitter. 
Anthony stands there slightly shocked before bursting into laughter.
“Well, she’s damn well a keeper for Tom since she obviously likes him.”
A staff member peaks their head in the green room to tell Tom he’s up next.
“Well, that’s my cue to leave you two!”
On the other hand, you were on an adrenaline high from being on stage, and seeing all the fans. You knew tomorrow was going to be crazy, as you expected people to book your photo op left and right since the announcement. 
You had decided to decline an offer from your fellow marvel universe castmates, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie, which they so graciously told you that whenever you’re free, the offer still stood. 
You had gotten to your hotel room seeing your phone blowing up on the social media apps for the second time that day. 
You responded to the important stuff, before heading to bed, knowing it was going to be hectic.

You had been right, it was absolutely insane, the number of people who showed up. You had fully booked all your time slots for photo ops. You had seen so many people dressed up in marvel cosplay, ranging from Loki to Ironman, even some people dressed up as your character, which was wildly insane to see.
You had been nearing the end of the line and had enjoyed every moment with the fans, and you couldn’t wait for your autographing session later that day, to truly get a chance to talk to the fans and connect with them and how they felt about you being their beloved Black Cat. 
After a few more photos, posing how they wanted, you see a fully dressed, head to toe, mask and all, Spider-Man. You had seen some spider-mans but most took off their masks to snap a picture. The person was the last in line. 
“Hey Black Cat.” The southern American accented voice tells you, seeming very familiar. 
“Hey, Spider, what poses do you have up your sleeve?” you ask kindly.
“I bought a few, Cat.” they laugh.
“Okay, You can do whatever a spider can right?” you pull out a line out of the comics jokingly.
“I can do flips if that’s what you’re asking.”
“Is that some kind of nerd pick-up line? Because it’s only kind of working.” you laugh. 
“I really can, but this is one.”
He gets down on one knee, holding a black cat mask instead of a ring. The photographer captures the shocked expression on your face.
“I- Don’t- What- Spider I-” 
“Ow My feelings…” Suddenly their voice changes into a British accent before they pull off the mask to reveal-
“Tom?”
“I guess you don’t have a spidey sense darling?” The photographer captures the moment without warning eating the moment up. 
You laugh at that. 
“I guess you found out my true identity Spider. And it’s nice to officially meet you, Tom.”
He laughs, just as nervous as you, he notices he has gotten closer to you and a strand of hair loosely is blowing in your face, so naturally, he pushes it behind your ear. Another snap of the camera can be heard. 
“NOW KISS!” a voice belonging to your best friend yells from the side, mid-eating a churro.
You both laugh really hard at that.
The both of you calm down, slowly leaning lost in the moment. The camera snaps again. You both look at the photographer weirded out, and they just shrug.
“Wait can you actually do a flip?” you ask, pulling away, not wanting prying eyes aka the photographer, to pry in your business. 
“I can, though I’d show you later, maybe in the greenroom?”
“That sounds naughty, but, sure.” you joke around. 
He laughs before, you both take off from the area going to grab the photos.

After spending most of the day together when you could, you get Tom’s number, before heading back to your hotel room. He texts you as soon as you get back. 
Spider: I had fun today, minus finding our assistants making out.
You: we should ‘snog’ too, it’ll gross them out ;)
You: I had fun too btw. Are you leaving tomorrow?
Spider: lol we should. And yeah an early flight, 6 am to be exact. Hbu?
You: Yeah me too... another day another dollar lol
Spider: ill miss you, Cat.
You: stop talking like we’ll never see each other again lol. As a matter of fact, come to my room, we’re watching a movie!
Spider: alright, I’ll order snacks. 
  You sigh smiling at your phone. You haven’t felt this giddy in a long time.
Your phone pings with a few Instagram notifications.

I have a visual to share with y'all. Say welcome to my long ass 'The Foxes + tiktok' headcanon

Basically Nicky gets tiktok but all of the foxes show up eventually and just use his profile.
• Most of the videos are with nicky and allison, also matt and dan and occasionally neil.
• Allison and nicky learn so many dances.
• Their duet of make his pockets hurt with Mariah and Zane from the vlog squad is the first one to go v i r a l.
• Yeah most of their followers know them but some and a lot of the comments are non exy fans that just watch them because they're cool
• So many of the "what is exy" "stickball game??" "dont even bother explaining to me what is the sport they play I dont care I'm just here for neil." And related comments get a liked from creator (andrew told nicky to like them)
•The "Oh my god she's coming." "I'm so afraid of her." Audio are the twinyards and nicky shows up, he had to bribe them to be a part of that one.
• They post another version but it's Kevin that enters and Allison and Nicky talking
• So many comments thirsting over them and calling matt and dan parents
• "the real bisexual struggle is simping for matt and dan in the same tiktok." -> liked from creator nickythefox_es commented/replied: ASDGFKSSDWADKWB
• Someone makes a 'put a finger down: Neil Josten edition' and nicky drags him to do it. They both smile as they listen to the prompts and Neil obviously puts all his fingers down but they're like "put a finger down if you clapbacked/if you bad mouthed someone (bonus points if it was on national tv)" "put a finger down if you're under 6 feet" "put a finger down if you love exy" and the last one just says "put a finger down if andrew minyard." Neil does and smiles at someone off camera. Needless to say it goes viral as well. A few weeks after nicky gets verified.
• Allison becomes friends with thenavarose and wisdom sorry I dont make the rules (they're fashion tiktokers)
• They make a series of rating each of the foxes throughout the day, including one of Wymack.
• They do receive bad comments, from bitter ravens fans or just recalling their pasts and nicky sits down and makes a video telling everyone about how they do this videos for fun they dont need hate and negative comments on their videos and all that
• Then another one posted minutes after, neil comes in and nicky says "okay neil you have one minute. Rant off." And neil goes on this rant like how they already hit Rock bottom a single comment is not gonna hurt them and "do you get how insignificant and meaningless your lives must be? You took the time to write and post a comment that you thought was gonna cause an impact and failed. Also thanks for the comments though it helps nicky stay on the algorithm." NICKY SCREECHES AND THE VIDEO ENDS WITH THEM SMILING
• Allison vlogs neil and her going shopping or thrifting also cutting Neil's hair
• *neil walks into the room wearing his orange bandana* *camera moves and zooms on Andrew's face* he doesnt lip sync but the song sings "oh noo I think I'm catching feelings" andrew tells him to delete it "but it already has thousands of likes andrew"
• They post some of their work out routines per request
• One of them is the fast and "I'm spinning like a ballerina" chill of neil just running on the treadmill and doing sprints and squats and leg stuff while it cuts to allison doing a bit of everything but looking like a queen on a matching set.
• A fun one that goes viral for "vine energy" is: it's very quiet on the court and Kevin, very in the zone, throws the ball to the goal, which Andre's catches easily and almost without moving. The camera goes back to kevin as he screeches and let's himself fall on the ground. Neil is standing beside him shaking his head and looking at the goal with a smile on his face.
• They try to teach neil the dances but while filming one of them he just leaves. They post it either way.
• They're in the bus, nicky is on selfie mode and says "it is game day my dudes" he turns and shows the whole bus S C R E A M S, in the corner Wymack is covering his face.
• The iconic "they say drunk thoughts are sober words" or something like that and it cuts to a series of videos of the foxes drunk af. Example: Nicky grabbing Allison's face and saying 'Remember. Bread. Head. Leave.' And allison nodding.
• Nicky films kevin standing up and put the "do you ever wonder what is going on inside their head?" And it cuts to pictures of racquets and exy and Jeremy Knox and one that says history stuff.
• Another one that goes viral is kevin very seriously and p e r f o r m i n g, rapping Jefferson's side of the cabinet battle #1 from Hamilton then towards the end andrew stands up in front of him and with his iconic bored expression he starts rapping Hamilton's part. Behind the camera there's a soft "...oh my gOD" and kevin is shocked eyes widen open and then the camera zooms on Neil who's mouth is open in shock but GRINNING and ~impressed~
• Dan and matt do The challenge, you know the one that like has to flip them over and all that and they ace it, nicky points the camera to where andrew and neil are stating and Andrew says no.
• A few minutes later another video of the challenge is posted only this time is matt and neil.
• Nicky and allison are in full gear filming a dance video (maybe savage or captain hook) on the court and someone films them filming that and then Wymack looking at them SO disappointed cut to Wymack with nicky's phone, having confiscated it and nicky besides him "coach, it's cardio!"
• Hours spent trying trick shots
• Foxes: "get back! Move!" Ravens: "Let me in! I be the I g g y!" Trojans: "Oh my God do no let her in" Foxes: "I am trying!"
• Nicky lying down: "okay but someone needs to tell me how old is the shirtless pottery guy. I can't be part of another controversy. It's for science c'mon. *debby Ryan's*"
• Someone comments "he's eighteen. Simp away, nicky." And he makes a video with his feet swinging and smiling. Aaron gets on the frame and says "we are deeply in need of some bowls." The caption: hi @ papapots
• They are verified so obviously he gains a couple of thousands followers and he duets smiling and with a package in his arms. Text: thanks for the support (and hi new followers from sport side of tiktok hope you enjoy my pots) caption: hi @ nickthefox_es I got you aaron.
• After the package comes they duet it with nicky screaming and showing off the goods and then he moves stop show andrew eating ice cream out of one of them. Caption: AJSNEPWLDKSS THANK YOU DAX
• Allison and nicky do the "I love you!" "No you dont topper! You love the idea of me. You love being seen with me but you dont love me." But nicky is Sarah and allison is topper. Next day the obx ig page reposted it "we stan the psu foxes pogues for life." And chase stokes posts it on Twitter saying "yoo the palmetto foxes watch??? my show???" Nicky takes a screenshot and on green screen he says "hi chase!! We do! The whole team binged it. Currently we've been debating who of us is going to dress up as pogues for Halloween." A lot of voices start arguing and as nicky is gonna enter the debate the video cuts.
• Allison does the facetime *deep male voice says hey* prank on them. Neil doesnt react. Nicky doesnt look up from his phone but does the finger thing and says "get that d, allison!" Dan and renee look at each other and then at allison and she bursts out laughing.
• aaron studying to be a doctor: *two plus two is four etc sound* andrew (eating pretzels from the bag while watching a game show lying down in a bean bag) and his eiditic memory [basically not needing to study]: *three is a magic number sound*
• Nicky runs through the court and enters the lounge beside the photo wall there's a poster he shows the camera as the sounds says it "alive ahaha fuck"
• Somehow they convince all of them to show up and do the wipe it down trend that ends up with wymack throwing the towel at the mirror.
• Comment: so how many members of the team listen to girl in red or sweater weather? Nicky stands there with the color filter: 👁👄👁👉👈 caption: yes❤
• He gets neil to duet to the whole "british people be like". "Neil I'm not british." "Part of you is so just read the tweets." He does and the comments are all thirst and simping

(The comment gets hundreds of thousands of likes) they make a video, everyone on the team except aaron who walks out raises their hand as the sound says "welcome to simp nation" kevin rolls his eyes but raises his, says something that nicky captions "i simp over his exy skills". andrew doesn't at first, but next to him neil whispers something and after andrew says yes, neil grabs Andrew's forearm and raises it. Andrew looks away and neil smiles.

He reads the box on the screen and frowns he walks and stands next to the window, where Andrew is sitting down and is barely seen on frame. "uhmm, the internet is confusing. Our carpet is like this" he turns the phone and shows the floor (grayish carpet) and then back at him "but we don't have drapes so, technically they don't match, I dont know." Andrew's head goes up and simply says "Neil." Neil turns "what?" And the video ends.
