Wait what the hell is Aziraphale mouthing here. Lip-readers sound off!!
This is RIGHT before "The Metatron! I don't think he's as bad a fellow - well I think I might have misjudged him."
His line was: "I, um... [mouthing something]" THEN the above line.
This can't be nothing. Can it? "We need to get out"??? Not sure. EDIT: I agree with @maximumpenguinpuppy here, I think he's saying
"WE NEED HELP."
Tumblr media
Further deep dive on the most painful conversation I've ever seen:
Azi makes the most INTENSE EYE CONTACT I'VE EVER SEEN during "I think I might have misjudged him."
Tumblr media
"PLEASE HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING TO YOU RIGHT NOW."
After a few intercuts with the flashbacks we get to the really painful bit.
"He said that I could appoint you... to be an angel." His voice is so strained and high pitched even for him, here.
"Like the old times, only even NICER!"
Tumblr media
The super nice old times where you couldn't be together at all, eh?
Crowley starts his confession and we get the "What the blazes is he doing?" face as he starts to realize Crowley is NOT picking up on any of this. Azi's breathing heavily here, revealing how very stressed the fuck out he is.
Tumblr media
After this point is when things get really hard to interpret. Aziraphale sounds so genuine about "Come with me!" and "We can make a difference, I'll run it and you'll be my second in command." It feels like Crowley starting his very real confession broke through the charade of 'The Metatron knows something and we're in fucking danger'.
He blathers about Angels and Doing Good before breaking again, letting the "I need you!" slip. We get this HALF A SECOND look of the most profound sadness right before the "I don't think you understand what I'm offering you."
Tumblr media
"You idiot. We could have been us."
Tumblr media
Azi looks like he can't believe just how badly this went. This is right before he looks away.
OH NO NOW I'VE SEEN CROWLEY'S FACE RIGHT WHEN HE STARTS TO GO OVER FOR THE KISS AH MY FEELS
Tumblr media
Azi is not hiding his emotions well, right before the grab:
Tumblr media
Then of course we get the I Forgive You, which sounds like his most bitter one yet. A flash of anger and resentment, frustration, immediately followed by remorse and grief.
Having seen all that, my best guess now is:
Metatron made the (barely) veiled De Facto Partnership threats, implying he knows about the body swap and, implicitly, threatening Crowley with Holy Water, at least to some extent.
Aziraphale tries his damnedest to communicate to Crowley that Something is Fucking Wrong and they Have to Go to Heaven to Fix It.
Crowley, having been primed by the various chats with Nina and then the 2v1 chat with Nina and Maggie RIGHT before this, clearly timed by the Metatron, fully misses all of this and takes it all at face value.
Crowley starts to give his confession and Aziraphale realizes what he's trying to say, tries to adjust his Heaven Pitch to hinge on staying together as a team to fix things."
"You cannot leave this bookshop." "Nothing lasts forever." Azi has chosen the worst way to make another attempt at saying he has no choice but to leave the bookshop. I don't think this is about the Second Coming, given his reaction to the info later.
Everything deteriorates from there as Aziraphale tries again to imply something is Fucking Wrong by going back to the "Angels! Doing good!" shtick, but it's too late. It's always too late.
"I don't think you understand what I'm offering you." He doesn't but Azi is also communicating it very badly, likely because the Metatron is indeed watching.
Crowley thinks this is all real so he gives his No Nightingales line, etc etc. Aziraphale can tell there's no fixing this, gives up.
Crowley swoops in with The Kiss as a last ditch effort to get Azi to listen. Azi WAS listening, but cannot respond other than in anger and frustration that Crowley, in his view, refuses to listen to him again, has called him an idiot again. This happens multiple times throughout the show so there's history to fuel that assumption.
This is the precise outcome the Metatron was vying for, to split them up and emotionally/psychologically weaken them, to ensure there was no chance of a united front as there was for Armageddidn't.
My heart hurts, ow.

once again rotating the qsmp and it's depiction of parenthood in my head and yeno i just... it makes me so deeply emotional it's not even funny? i remember conversations about "mothers and fathers" being the true qsmp theme song and i will die on that hill forever.
the thing that i find so poignant about it is that this was (as far as we know) never meant to be the story they were going to tell — the eggs were meant to come and go, a chapter in a story that would be looked back on fondly but one that was firmly over. and yet, the love. oh, the love.
it's so rare in media that we get such a raw and slow perspective of parenthood from the parents' perspective, to see the bonds forming and solidifying from "a responsibility that scares me" to "i would tear the world apart for you" — going back to vods of the first day of the eggs is wild, because they're filled with novelty and interest, but then time passes and we see love blossom.
we see love through grief too, like fit's voice when ramon lost his first life, or bad's screams when dapper had his nightmare, or the grief that came with trump, juana, and tilin's deaths. the desperation and grief of parents is an uncomfortable thing to witness, but in a medium like the qsmp it allows people to explore stories that are sometimes too heavy or too dark to portray in a less "goofy" medium.
we watched people's focus shift to their children as they embraced parenthood, especially in the face of loss, and we saw them accept truths that aren't pretty: if the eggs are there to manipulate them, okay. if they're a way for the federation to control them? fine. it doesn't matter, they're their children. they won't let go of them, not even if they're ultimately a means to keep them subdued.
the only time we've seen these characters truly lose their shit and rebel properly was when the eggs went missing, and that says so much. they'll almost accept losing their autonomy, but they won't lose their children.
it's been almost a year of the eggs, and they're the center of everything. every event, every game, every day — eggs are always the focus, whether it be in a "we need to protect them" way or a "i wonder what they want to do today" way. it's all about those kids.
meanwhile, we get to see these people be scared shitless, not have answers, be lost and confused half the time and not knowing how to handle every situation — they try their best, but time and time again they fumble and say the wrong thing, and have to apologise and try to do better next time.
it's so fucking beautiful, man. we see a day-to-day experience of parenthood and family (government assigned, found, chosen) that shows and movies can't give us because they're not a daily, breathing, on-the-go medium where we get to follow this one (or multiple bc none of us have lives) character through just... life.
in having this opportunity, we're privy to one of the most honest, human, and poignant depictions of parenthood and maturing that i've ever seen. we get to live this journey with these characters, and i'd bet a lot of money that that's part of why we're all so deeply attached to the eggs too.
long story short, storytelling is so fucking awesome and sometimes the most beautiful stories happen by accident.

You scoffed as you made your way past the drunken slimy bodies, pushing everyone out of the way until you finally made it into the kitchen, having no idea how Steve had managed to throw a bash this crowded and your head was spinning too much to care now.
Stumbling a bit your feet picked you up toward the drink stand, shaking the empty bottles, you sighed. "Really? All of them?" you huffed annoyed as you turned around, spotting Robin with a bottle in her hand, you smirked.
"Robin! You are my hero." You giggled as you approached her, grabbing the bottle despite her protests as you chugged a huge sip, your face contorting at the taste.
"Jesus, slow down! You're going to get black out drunk again and then complain all day tomorrow." Nancy came up behind Robin as she scoffed, this is what you had been doing all week, and Nancy was starting to get worried but you rolled your eyes at her, while Robin gave her a 'don't say that' look.
"C'mon Nance, let her be. She's got enough on her plate as it is!" Robin made a suggestive look as you took another sip, turning to face her.
Nancy pursed her lips as she shrugged. "And what does that mean?" You asked, knitting your brows together. Robin pointed towards Eddie, and your eyes followed.
He was chugging the beer he had a firm grip on, face contorting as he took more and more sips, your heart dropped to your stomach at the sight, you knew he would be here, yet you couldn't help the tingles that overtook your body when you saw him.
You were so stupid.
"I don't know what you mean." You shrugged your shoulders, lying through your teeth, Eddie had been sort of avoiding you for some time, and now, for a whole week, he was acting as if you didn't exist.
You didn't know why or how, but it was eating away at you.
Spending your days drinking and smoking away your feelings had become a regular habit ever since he had started avoiding you, and Nancy and Robin had started to get worried about your current coping mechanism.
To say you were feeling hurt would be an understatement, you and Eddie were supposed to be friends, best friends even, in the last four years, you had grown close to him, so close that being away from him even for a second hurt.
And now this distance, his cold attitude, not returning any of your calls, and eventually pretending as if you didn't exist, was eating at you, your own insecurities were bubbling up at the surface.
What was so wrong with you that Eddie couldn't even tell it to your face?
"I mean, it is weird, I've never seen the two of you apart for an hour, let alone a week." Robin spoke up, mentally cursing herself for not being able to stop blabbering and Nancy gave her a look, one that meant, 'not the fucking time' and you narrowed your eyes, hurt twinging in your chest.
"Shutting up now?" Robin asked awkwardly, shrugging her shoulders in defense, "I hope." You replied, trying to hide the hurt in your tone.
Your eyes searched for Eddie again, he was now conversing with Argyle and Jonathan, he looked uncomfortable, he could feel your gaze on him and he was doing everything in his willpower to not meet your disappointed eyes, he knew he would soften up the second he saw you.
"I think I have a plan." Nancy muttered to Robin behind you as they quickly left your side, you were too busy to notice anything as you leaned on the wall chugging the bottle again, face feeling numb.
You meant to talk to him, ask him why he was avoiding you, but you were afraid of his answer, what if Eddie didn't want to be your friend anymore?
What if Eddie was going to tell you how much he started hating you and that he never wanted to see your face again?
You would much prefer the distance rather than be shunned by him. You doubted you could handle anything without him by your side.
You knew what you felt for him was far beyond friendship now, but you never could fully admit to it.
For months, Nancy and Robin had been trying to get you to admit to it, but you had always refused, saying the two of you were 'just friends.'
But you knew, and they knew that people who were 'just friends', didn't do what you two did, friends didn't have movie nights where they ended up cuddling each other and falling asleep in each other's arms, sometimes, Eddie would even place a kiss on your forehead when you fell asleep, tucking you in as a grin took over his lips, seeing how peaceful you were.
Friends didn't have dates in Eddie's van, seated in the back as the both of you ashed a joint, wasting away the night before you watched the sunset with him, his childish grin as he told you all of his stupid jokes feeling like a kick in your stomach now.
And you knew, you knew, friends didn't look at each other the same way both of you looked at one another.
So, you were nervous, nervous that you had fucked up the only good thing in your life, nervous of what he might say to you.
But this apparent nervousness was nowhere to be seen when you had drunk this much. Before you knew it, you found your two feet dragging you to his side, unable to take control of yourself, the drunk you had decided that you had enough.
You slid past the drunk bodies standing in the way of Eddie, your fingertips anxiously fiddling with the bottle, you could barely balance yourself, smushing yourself against the wall near him.
"Hi." You intended for your voice to come out soft but your words were slurred, and Eddie almost stilled when he heard it.
His heart was thudding inside of his chest, he knew you would be at Steve's party, but he never thought you would actually talk to him, not when he had been a complete asshole to you for a while now.
His gaze was avoidant, almost as avoidant as he was and your stomach was churning again, and this time it was not the alcohol.
It was all him.
"Hey." His greeting was short, your mouth had dried up, and the drunk version of you didn't have the tolerance you had for the past week.
Your eyes narrowed as you straightened yourself. "Hey? Is that all you have to fucking say?" You almost snapped, you hadn't meant to sound so sharp, the words left your mouth like word vomit, it probably wasn't fair how you spat them at him, but his coldness to you wasn't fair, either.
You knew once you brought the subject to him there was no turning back, you were afraid of the possibility of him never talking to you again but the liquid in your system gave you enough courage to do what you feared, ripping the band-aid off, and you thought maybe, maybe, ending the friendship would cause you less pain than whatever he was supposed to be doing.
"Hello?" He attempted to joke, and if you weren't this stupidly smitten over him, and maybe a bit buzzed, it wouldn't have worked, but it did. All it took for him to soften you up was a stupid joke, causing you to giggle drunkenly, as you leaned into the wall again.
"Really?" You shook your head, "That's the best you got?" You tilted your head to the side, giving him a warm smile, you couldn't help it, it was the most you had talked with him this week, and you were already putty in his hands, you hated him, and you hated the effect he had on you.
He shrugged, it was obvious he felt more comfortable, his eyes not leaving yours. "Made you laugh, didn't I?" you nodded, you didn't mean to get this soft on him this quickly, but you couldn't help it, not when he made you feel at ease this easily.
You hated and loved how everything with Eddie made you feel at ease, feeling safe with him like you could bring your guard down for once.
You huffed, mind more mellow as you eyed him. "Missed this, ya know?" Your words were slurred again, you knew it wasn't the alcohol talking, but at the same time without it, you never would have had the courage.
Eddie's eyes were glossy and riddled with remorse as they gazed into yours, you could sense it, sense that he was feeling guilty, you bit the inside of your cheek when he looked at you like that.
"What?" He asked, dumbfounded.
"Missed this-" you pointed between the two of you, "Just missed being with y-you." You couldn't help it when your words were tangled with each other again, it made you scared to admit any of this, while Eddie just gave you a sigh.
"You're drunk?" He questioned. "Again?" If you didn't know how Eddie had been treating you the past week you'd think he was worried about you, considerate even, but the way his actions changed made you doubt his sincerity.
Eddie had been aware of your new coping mechanism, his mouth felt dry when Steve told him how badly you had been taking Eddie's new demeanor.
"Mhm." You hummed, signaling to the bottle as you attempted to chug it again but Eddie shook his head, quickly taking it away from your hands. You gasped as you straightened yourself. "Rude."
"You will get shit faced and have the worst hangover, and I'm sure you'll curse us out for letting you drink that much." He raised his brows to warn you and you pouted at him like a child.
"You sound just like Nancy." You scoffed, biting back the insult you had at the tip of your tongue about how he decided to care about you now, instead settling on making him chuckle, and just with his laugh, you felt a tinge of pride swell in your chest, it was pathetic how desperate you were for him.
"No fun, I'm crossing you out." You whined as you draw an 'X' in the air, with pouty lips and soft eyes, Eddie had a foolish grin on his face when he was comfortable with you again, almost at peace with how your soul embraced his.
He felt like an asshole, and so fucking stupid for the way he acted, but it was the only thing he knew how to do: running away from his feelings.
"Come on, where the hell have you guys been, we've got some drinking games going on!" You were startled by Robin's loud voice, and as turning to face her, you heard Eddie's groans behind you.
"No way." Eddie shook his head and you threw him a puzzled look.
"No?" You furrowed your brows. "But, you love drinking games."
"Yeah, you love drinking games. Don't be a buzzkill, Munson." Robin interrupted, she shot a look at Eddie that made him confused but intrigued, and he couldn't say no when the two of you dragged him to where everyone else was gathered.
You sat down next to him and felt your hazy drunken state get worse, it was as if everything was becoming all too real.
Realizing that the conversation you just had with him meant nothing, not after he had been avoiding you for a week, and now your mind was swirled with the thoughts of what was going to happen when you two finally had 'the talk', anxiety riddling over your body again.
"What game are we playing?" You asked in an attempt to shake off your thoughts, it didn't help when Eddie's gaze landed on you and you could feel your cheeks burning with his gaze alone, causing you to chew on your bottom lip out of nervousness.
"We just played endless rounds of 'Never Have I Ever'" Nancy sighed, almost annoyed.
"Turns out Steve the King is bit of a slut." Robin semi-whispered as Steve gasped, holding his heart to be dramatic.
"Really, Robin?" He furrowed his brows. "Well, it's not my fault you hooked up with the half of—" Robin was interrupted by Eddie's groan.
"C'mon you guys let's just play whatever this is and get on with it." His voice sounded annoyed, you turned to face him, but Eddie was already avoiding your gaze again, he looked nervous, and you wanted to roll your eyes, he was being an asshole, again.
You could feel anger bubbling up inside of your chest, and Robin could feel the tension in the air. "Okayy, truth or dare it is!" Robin interrupted with a nervous giggle.
"I thought we were playing Never Have I Ever-" You were shut up by Robin's shushes.
"Yes and now we switched to Truth or Dare, keep up, sweetheart." You furrowed your brows and giggled, turning to Steve as if to ask what was wrong with Robin, but Steve put his hands up in defense, shrugging.
Something weird was going on and you couldn't put a finger on it, and to be honest, your mind was too fuzzy to figure any of it out, filled both with alcohol and the thoughts of Eddie. Robin grabbed the bottle and spun it around the circle, the anticipation of it made her fiddle in her place, and when it landed on Steve, she groaned.
"Steve! I think you should pick truth, are you a virgin? Oh wait, you are not! Let me spin it again." Robin talked so fast that even Eddie threw her a look, you were usually used to her fast-paced actions but she was giving you a whiplash now.
"Robin, what the hell are you—" Eddie's words were cut short by Robin's shriek.
"Wow! It landed on Eddie, what a surprise." Robin rubbed her hands together almost like a villain in a cartoon.
"So, truth or dare, Eddie? Oh, also you can't say truth because Steve just picked that." Robin hit her hand against her forehead in a fake manner, and you giggled again at her actions, unaware of what was coming next.
"Okaa...ay, dare?" Eddie asked unsurely, and Robin mimicked a thinking face, you had no idea what was coming next, but you doubted anything Robin would dare him to do could fix whatever was going on with Eddie.
"I dare you to..." She paused for a minute.
"Go into that closet and not come out until you and Y/N make out." Robin's words were like a slap on your face, and she had that stupid grin on her face that you wanted to wipe off.
"Excuse me?" The two of you said in unison and you were afraid to look at him now.
"I mean... a dare is a dare." Steve shrugged, and Robin nodded quickly causing you to sigh.
"You are a child, Robin." You threw her a death stare, your mind was still hazy as you began to get up, and Eddie was still where he was sitting, he twisted his rings, an action you knew he did when he was nervous.
"Well, are you just going to wait around all day?" You snapped, not knowing what came over you when you were this drunk.
"You're okay with this?" Eddie's face was almost red as he looked up at you, hating the way a nervous tingle formed in your stomach with how he looked at you.
"It's just a d—dare, let's get it over with." You meant to sound confident but your words came out as a murmur.
"This is so stupid." He scoffed as he followed you into the closet, Robin following up behind the two of you. She locked the door when the two of you entered and she sent you a smirk before she did so, making you scoff.
"I swear I'm going to kill her." You said sharply, turning your back on the door.
When you finally faced Eddie you realized how close he was standing to your face, his tall figure towering over you was enough to make your breath hitch.
"Hi." was all he muttered as he looked down on you, making you realize how much you missed the warmth of his soft gaze and you hated yourself for how enamored you were with him.
"Hi." You managed to let out when you caught your breath, the room felt suffocating, and you could barely swallow the lump in your throat.
The possibility of him kissing you made you want to scream, both from excitement and fear.
"So... we have to kiss?" He said awkwardly, scratching his head, almost as if it were a question and you nodded quickly, knowing he was too nervous to make the first move so you had to take matters into your own hands.
"What's the big deal? It's just a kiss. We've been best friends for years, we can do it." You said, with a nonchalant tone, but the hint of nervousness was still visible.
"Let's just do it!" You announced excitedly, "kiss me, Edward Munson!" Eddie chuckled at that, making you realize how much you had missed that genuine laugh.
"Edward..." He tilted his head, "Really?" He raised a brow, causing you to pout.
"Yeah." You giggled softly, offering him a smile, knowing how much he hated someone saying his full name, he gave you a light chuckle.
“Okay, yeah, I think I deserved that." He attempted to joke, the air still tense but filled with your giggles.
"Let's do this...” Eddie added cooly, his hands at his side as he leaned towards you, licking his lips.
“Why are you licking your lips?” You questioned, making Eddie chuckle, as he stopped leaning in further.
"Should I not?" He raised a brow, "I mean do you want dry lips?” He asked sarcastically and you shook your head chuckling.
"No, no!" You protested, face burning from embarrassment. "Never mind..." You chuckled.
“I didn’t think it was—” Eddie started but you interrupted, “No.. no it’s okay.. I just..” You were a stuttering mess now.
"Let’s do it.. I—I’m ready.” His tone was soft when he spoke, he was less nervous and you nodded frantically.
You started leaning in but then abruptly stopped, making Eddie furrow his brows.
“Do you want tongue? Are you like a tonguer?” You asked, your face was serious and Eddie's eyes widened.
“Am I a what?” Eddie asked baffled as you chuckled, shaking your head.
"Fuck..." You cursed, giggles errupting in your throat from nervousness. "I didn't mean it like that, I just meant—" You were babbling, your heart hammering inside of your chest.
"I mean do you like tongue in kissing? I just— I wouldn’t wanna use tongue if you don’t want to..." You trailed off.
“Let’s just do it!” Eddie exclaimed interrupting as you let out another giggle, your nerves were getting the best of you.
“Yes, sorry. Are you ready?” You asked, weight of anticipation settling heavily in your chest as Eddie nodded, “Yes.. I’m ready.. let’s just do this..” Eddie let out slowly, scratching his head from nervousness as you nodded once again.
You barely moved when he leaned towards you, almost frozen in place you stared at him, stared at the sickly sweet brown of his eyes, stared at his dark hair that messily laid on his forehead, and you couldn't help it when your eyes lowered down to gaze at his lips, adoring the curve of his mouth.
Your gaze was stuck on him in a way that made your eyes glimmer with an array of emotions, not knowing if this would be your first and last kiss with him, trying your best to etch this sight of him into your mind forever, unsure of whether you could ever see him up this close again.
and as if Eddie could read your mind, he realized, he realized the weight of how you were staring at him. With more he studied your face, the connection between the two of you deepened, unraveling what he most wanted. You.
“Fuck— You.. you can’t do that!” He exclaimed, desperately, and you knitted your brows in confusion, “What... what did I do?” Eddie was being ridiculous now.
"Jesus Christ, you can't just do that to me." His face was burning up, he thought maybe, that this dare would be good for him, maybe the best way to get over his feelings was to kiss you for once, but the way your eyes glimmered was enough to make him want to stare at you forever, and he couldn't do that when he was trying to keep his feelings for you bottled up, forever.
Now, he was regretting the dare as he could feel the pressure building and you looked so pretty that Eddie felt his heart sink in his body, if he kissed you, he knew he couldn't contain his feelings for you no longer, he sighed, shaking his head.
“You can't do that thing with your eyes and face!” He exclaimed as you scoffed, “What the hell are you talking about?” You almost yelled, getting frustrated by his stand-offish attitude.
“Okay that’s it.. I— I can’t do it!” He huffed as he reached for the doorknob, struggling with it.
“Let me out guys!” Eddie yelled but Robin just chuckled, “You have to kiss her, you idiot!”
“Let me out of here, Robin!” He yelled louder this time, but instead of Robin answering this time Steve, Nancy, Argyle, Jonathan, and the gathered crowd answered to him, chanting “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” and Eddie rolled his eyes, cursing.
“Oh come on Eddie, let’s just do this! Just one kiss!” You said annoyed, and you felt a bit rejected at how much he wanted to leave.
Eddie turned around to meet your gaze, “No, I’m not gonna fucking kiss you.” His words were bitter and you bit the inside of your cheek to keep yourself from crying in front of him.
“Eddie we've been best friends for four years! A little kiss isn’t gonna change anything.” The words that left your mouth stung him, it wasn't easy on you but the emphasis on the two of you being best friends and how a kiss wouldn't change a thing between the two of you was the exact reason he was avoiding you.
Eddie knew if you had rejected him, and told him that you didn't reciprocate his feelings, it would eventually lead to the two of you not being friends.
And he couldn't handle that idea, he couldn't handle not being around you. That's why he tried to stay away from you, just so he could contain his feelings for you, at least for a while.
His gaze on you was agonizing, “Stop looking at me like that.” He muttered as you rolled your eyes, and crossed your arms around your chest, annoyed.
“God, will you just kiss me already!” You blurted out, now getting annoyed with him, not being able to comprehend why Eddie was making such a big deal out of this when it was just supposed to be a dare.
"No."
“Why not?” You questioned, eager to know why he had been acting this way, Eddie ran his hands across his hair, ruffling it before he gripped your shoulders to get your attention fully, “Because..." He took a deep breath as he put his trembling hands into his back pockets, he was trying to hold himself back, but he couldn't, not when you looked at him that way.
"Because I don't want to kiss you like this!” He almost snapped, his feelings taking over before his logic could, and you went rigid with his words.
His own reaction was delayed as his eyes widened at his own words, and he was standing close to you, so close, that your breath hitched when he said that. “What.. what does that mean?”  Your head was spinning as Eddie looked down, almost as if he was embarrassed.
“Nothing! I didn’t— I just... That’s not what I fucking meant..” Eddie stuttered over his words, he felt like his desperation had trickled into the very air he was breathing in, his own words suffocating him and your gaze mocking him, he couldn't handle it further as people outside the closet started chanting “Kiss! Kiss!” again.
Eddie scoffed again, “Shit— just, excuse me..” He cursed out as he tried the doorknob again.
“What are you doing?” You asked curiously, you wanted to talk to him now.
“Just need some air” He murmured and tried the door again.
“Robin, just open up!” Eddie yelled out making Robin groan, “Did you kiss her?” Eddie rolled his eyes, and he got ready to curse Robin out but you placed your hands over his mouth, shushing him.
“Yes, yes Robin! We fucking did, we even french kissed! You happy?” You yelled out as Robin giddily chuckled unlocking the door.
You threw her a dead stare as Eddie just brushed past her, hurrying his way out and you followed quickly behind him.
"Eddie, just wait!" You called out after him, you were curious to know what he meant, why he was acting this way, none of it was making sense to you and you were still very buzzed.
"Just leave me the fuck alone, Y/N." He didn't even turn around to face you and it hurt.
"No! I'm not going to fucking run away this time." You yelled, catching up to him, and Eddie turned around swiftly.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, his tone curious and not annoyed like before.
"I'm not playing your stupid game anymore, I don't care if you tell me you hate me, Eddie, just tell me what's wrong, tell me what I did to make you push me away this much. You can insult me and tell me to 'fucking leave' but I won't leave until you tell me to my face what I did to make you push me away, you fucking coward!" You spat out the words, rolling your shoulders as you felt your anger coming out to the surface.
Eddie rubbed his hands against his face, you were asking for him to be vulnerable, and he knew that if he opened up to you, you would probably laugh in his face.
"I just—" He scoffed, "I don't wanna do this. Not right now." He sighed, and he drooped his head, his gaze fixated on the ground now.
"Just tell me what the fuck is wrong, Eddie." You almost yelled, feeling your face hot with anger. "What did you mean by when you said you didn't want to kiss me like this?"
"And why have you been avoiding me, why can't you even look me in the fucking eye right now?" To say you were frustrated would be an understatement, liquid courage had worked a little too well and you were pouring your gut out to him.
You crossed your arms against your chest, feeling your cheeks burning up with anger, you were filled with fury, and nothing Eddie could do was going to change that.
In fact, it made it worse when he kept avoiding his gaze. "Fuck you." You spat out, index finger pointed towards him, hostility written all over your face, your feet picked you up before your mind realized, and you brushed past him as you angrily left his side.
"Just— fucking wait!" His words rang in your ears but you didn't care, you kept walking while Eddie was right behind you.
"Let me just explain!" He yelled out after you. "Jesus— you're fucking fast." He added as he tried to catch up to you.
You stopped in your tracks, and your back was turned to him. "Eddie, just get it over with." You crossed your arms against your chest again, feeling your insides twist as you waited for him to pull the band-aid off.
"What?" He raised his brows in confusion, and you didn't dare to look at him.
"You realized it, didn't you? I mean it took me a while to realize it myself." Your voice was timid, not trusting yourself enough that you wouldn't break down completely in front of him.
"And you realized you didn't reciprocate them, and you're trying to let me off easy by avoiding me." You could feel tears prickling your eyes but you shook your head to make them go away.
"I know you hate confrontation." Your voice was cracking now, and Eddie hated it, he hated being the reason you were about to cry, he hated being the reason you doubted yourself because of him.
"What are you talking about? Reciprocating what?" He didn't dare to turn you to face him, he was still shocked at the possibility of what you were hinting at.
"Feelings, Eddie. My fucking feelings for you!" You turned around to face him now, and his eyes had softened, he blinked slowly to process what you were saying. The air between the two of you was filled with unspoken emotions, your body ridden with anticipation and anxiety.
But Eddie felt stupid, so fucking stupid. He spent this whole week bottling up his feelings for you, and avoiding you to do so because he thought he wasn't good enough for you, he thought you would actually mock him.
He should've known you would never do that, he should've told the insecure voice in his head to shut the fuck up.
Because there you were in front of him, saying exactly what he was feeling, and he felt like the biggest idiot in the world.
"Your... what?" His eyebrows furrowed, and he wanted to laugh, he wanted to laugh at how stupid he was being.
"Just— let's just pretend this never happened." You could barely look at him, nervously fiddling with your fingers.
"Nope." He shook his head.
There was no fucking way he would pretend this had never happened, he had been waiting, for years to tell you how he felt, every night he would give himself a pep talk, encouraging himself to finally open up to you, but when he finally saw you in the morning, and you gave him that warm smile and those doe-eyes, he always backed out, scared of losing you forever.
"No fucking way." He shook his head, and a chuckle escaped his lips.
The look you threw him was filled with disdain, "Oh, so this is funny to you?" You were quick to judge him, turning around and muttering curse words as your feet began to pick up again.
"Jesus Christ, will you let me speak!" He yelled out again and you shook your head, walking faster. Eddie scoffed, "So. Fucking. Stubborn." He muttered under his breath.
He caught up to you once again and this time he reached out to your free hand, and he grabbed it in a tight firm, spinning you around to face him, you were about to cuss him out again, and throw him a death glare, but his gaze was so gentle that you couldn't help it, your eyes were mellow, sickly sweet, as they met his.
Your heart reacted before you could, thumping in your chest. Eddie was leaning so close towards you that you sensed his heavy breathing against your face, you didn't dare to move, not until his tender fingertips brushed against your cheeks, he leaned over so agonizingly slow that you couldn't help but close the gap between the two of you, soft lips clashing with each other as you whimpered the second your mouth met his.
Eddie's chest fizzled with warmness, the smell of your perfume mixed with alcohol dizzying him while your head was still pounding as you were trying to process what was happening, there wasn't enough air in the world for your lungs to pull in.
You deepened the kiss when Eddie's hands slowly cupped your cheeks, parting your lips as his tongue explored yours, shuddering at his touch.
Your brain didn't process any of it, not until the initial shock wore off, that's when you pulled back slightly, catching your breath as you blinked confusedly at him, unable to find the words to speak.
Eddie licked his lips as they twitched to form a smile, speaking up before you could. “In the closet.. when. I said I didn’t wanna kiss you like that... I meant that I wanted something like this..”  He gave you a slight chuckle as you returned it with a warm smile.
"I'm sorry for the way I acted." He gulped, feeling guilty for his actions in the past weeks, but he always poorly reacted to things that involved his feelings.
"I thought if I just stayed away from you, if I just pushed you away for a while, I could bottle up my feelings for you and—"
"You have feelings for me?" You asked, interrupting, eyes widening despite the kiss being undeniable proof of that but you still couldn't believe it, you still couldn't believe that the man you had been in love with was actually reciprocating the feelings you harbored, the feelings you tried so hard to contain inside of you.
"Are you kidding? Of course, I do." Eddie affirmed. "I mean how could I not?" He chuckled, pointing towards you. "Jesus, you're so beautiful, so fucking pretty..." he flashed you a mischievous smile.
"You're nice, and god, so fucking kind that it makes me sick sometimes. And shit— you get along with Wayne so well, I think he thinks of you more as his kid than me at this point." You gave him a light chuckle.
"Also... you are funny sometimes too." He added, giving you a light nudge with his shoulder as you pointed towards yourself mouthing 'Little old me?' sarcastically, making him smile.
"Fuck— if it wasn't for you, I'd be so lost, sweetheart. I'm so glad you came into my life." Your heart warmed at his words, gaze softening as your lips twitched into a smile.
"And you're always fucking there for me... even when I don't deserve it." He nervously fiddled with his fingers, he didn't deserve someone as perfect as you.
"Like right now, even though I've been an asshole, avoiding you, and even more of an asshole in the closet, you still came after me." He looked down, embarrassed that he had pushed you away, he knew you deserved better, so much better.
"You didn't deserve any of it, you just deserve every fucking good thing there is, and I'm just none of those things." You shook your head, opening your mouth to speak but Eddie didn't let you.
"Can you even picture it? You and me together? You— god, you are so fucking perfect." Your heart pounded against your chest, the rhythm of it erratic and suffocating because of his painful words, if only he knew how much you loved him.
"I'm just me, Eddie. I'm fucked up, a 'freak', a fucking drug dealer." Deep lines etched his forehead, he chuckled bitterly, and your heart throbbed at him describing himself as anything but good.
"I guess I just decided I wasn't good enough for you. Fuck— I chickened out." He eyed you nervously, and what he didn't expect was you slapping him on the shoulder, harshly.
"Ow!" He yelped, "Eddie never, ever make decisions on my part ever again." You chided him and he nodded quickly, "Jesus, that hurt."
"Good, because I also don't allow you to speak that way about yourself either, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me Eddie and I mean it. You're not fucked up." You affirmed him.
"God, you really are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Eddie. I don't think I've ever been happier, or more comfortable with anyone but you, you helped me realize so much about myself and have been there with me through everything." You didn't blink once, and Eddie's mouth was agape, he couldn't believe that someone —and not just anyone, you— saw him as anything more than a fuck up.
"I love you, Eddie, and I mean it, I love you so fucking much." You added, your eyes glimmering. "I can't stop thinking about you, ever... and it physically hurt being away from you for just one fucking week."
"I'm sorry for that..." He muttered again, embarrassed. "I love you so fucking much, honey. And I promise I'll never do something as dumb as this again." He gave you a warm smile, and his fingertips were gentle as they grazed over your cheeks.
You tilted your head in hesitation, "Yeah, I doubt it." You giggled, and Eddie squished your cheeks in response.
"God, you're so lucky that you're so pretty and so lucky that I fucked up big time because I will agree with you on whatever you say for the next few days." Eddie's lips formed a smirk and you raised a brow, "I'm thinking for the next month." You pursed your lips sarcastically.
Eddie chuckled and leaned in once again to kiss you, "Whatever my pretty girl wants." He murmured into your lips.
You whimpered again when your lips touched, both of you groaned when you were interrupted by Nancy's voice.
"See, I told you it would work!" Nancy pointed towards to two of you kissing as Robin and Steve almost gasped.
Robin turned to Nancy crossing her arms against her chest all-knowingly, "Yeah but it wasn't working a minute ago when they were yelling at each oth-" Robin's words were cut short by the glare Eddie and you threw at Robin.
"Sorry!" She yelled out, giving a sheepish smile, making you laugh.
"So, this was all you?" You asked, pointing towards Nancy, but before she could answer Robin scoffed.
"As if I didn't put your stubborn asses in that closet!" She mocked. The puzzle pieces of Robin acting weird all night coming to you and Eddie at the same time.
"You guys are all idiots." Eddie huffed, but his smile never faltered, and the three of them knew that was his way of gratitude.
You turned towards them with a sheepish smile on your face mouthing a 'thank you' to Robin and Nancy, and giving Steve a thumbs up, they waved you off as if to say 'No problem', and you turned to Eddie again.
"Eventful night, huh?" He asked, a smirk playing on his lips, and you gave him a playful nudge. "Shut up."
"So... you ready to go home?" Eddie asked as he threw an arm around your shoulder, you nodded, melting into his comfortable hold.
"Mhmm." You hummed, as he pressed a kiss on your hair. "I love you, pretty girl." He murmured.

childhood sweethearts II a.russo x reader
"and you promise you'll not burn yourself out again right darling?" you sighed at the obvious concern present in your mums voice on the other end of the phone line. "yes mother i've learnt and i've grown and i'm doing all the self care things!" you cheered sarcastically, switching to hands free as you moved to stir your dinner.
"ha ha ha. i think you forget that i still know where you live and i have no issues just popping in every now and then to check on-" the older woman began to threaten as your eyes widenened.
"okay okay there's no need for that mum! i'm doing well, i promise." you responded a lot more sincerely as the woman on the other end simply hummed. "this school and my workload is a lot less intense, really! my colleagues are very friendly, my boss is approachable and i love my class. better?" you sighed as you switched off your stove and began to dish yourself up a bowl.
"and it's brought you back closer to home, my favourite part!" your mum cheered as you playfully rolled your eyes.
"yes it has however i maintain that i have boundaries mum. you, lily and harry are only welcome to visit with an invitation." you warned, half serious and half joking as you grabbed your phone and moved to the living room, sinking down into the sofa.
"yes you made that very clear, feeling very loved darling." "you know i love you ever so dearly mum but i also love my own space."
"oh god i almost forgot. you'll never guess who i ran into the other day!" your mum suddenly gasped making you chuckle, if you'd even tried guessing you could have been stuck on the phone with her for hours, your mothers social circle seemingly never ending.
it used to be a point of contention for you in your youth, hating the way you were seemingly forever pulled away to dinners or parties or barbeques, having to beg your parents to leave once it grew late in the night and your social battery had long hit its max.
as your siblings grew older they were always excused from going to these elaborate social events and you'd beg to be given that same privilege but as the youngest that was one thing you coudn't talk your way out of.
though once your dad passed you watched that break her down to nothing, seemingly just a shell of the woman she once was when he was alive and all was well.
but with time you grew to watch your mother pick herself back up slowly and start to rebuild her own support net. recconecting with her inner circle after isolating herself from the outside world for so long, it warmed your heart and was something you would forever encourage for her.
knowing that the older woman would always thrive and be at her best as a social butterfly and the hostess with the mostess, it had helped her to heal.
"if i guessed we could be here for hours and i have an island full of gorgeous single airheads and a bowl of pasta calling my name, so who did you run into?" you chuckled, shoveling in a mouthful of food as you awaited her answer.
"carol russo!" you choked at her words, spitting out the pasta you'd half chewed and breaking out into a coughing fit, scrambling for the glass of water on the coffee table.
"oh honestly i wish you'd learn to chew before you swallow, the food isn't going to disappear!" your mum scolded you as you finally caught your breath again.
"oh i'm grand mum, thank you for your concern!"
"anyway. well i've not seen her for years as you'd know and then there i was just browsing the strawberries, i needed some for a new crumble recipe i'm trying, and there she was, just grabbing a bunch of carrots!" you had to withhhold the urge to laugh at the way your mother told stories and just how animated she'd become, so fixated on the small details as she basically told you their entire conversation and coincidentally revealed her entire shopping list as she went.
"so we're all going out for a meal on thursday to catch up properly." you hummed, only half listening at this point. "that sounds nice." you mumbled, flicking through the tv.
"so you'll be there then? i said half past six since i know you're normally home from work around five." now that had you tuning back in. "wait, you what?" you directed your full attention back to the conversation.
"dinner with the russo's. half past six at paradiso, your brother and sister already said yes." your mum repeated as your stomach dropped and you fell silent. "darling did you hear me?"
"yeah i did. but look mum i have lesson planning to do and that's a school night and-" "oh y/n please! carol made such a point to ask how you've been and how much she'd love to see you. i know you and lessi drifted apart but you're both adults now darling i'm sure you can find some common ground, and the two of you used to be inseparable."
and there it was.
you could have just maybe deluded yourself into thinking that there was a slight chance the youngest russo wouldn't be present, perhaps you'd get lucky and she would be too busy off being a european football superstar.
but now you knew she'd be there the pit of worry and dread forming in your stomach only widened, quickly going from a small hole to a gaping chasm as the nerves already settled in at the thought of speaking with her after so many years apart.
"actually no you know what darling i don't care if you're an adult now, you're going. no arguments!" your mum decided, hastily excusing herself and stating she couldn't wait to see you, ending the call before you could utter another word.
~
"oh god, get it together! they're just regular people and its just one dinner." you mumbled to yourself with a shake of your head as you fixed your hair in your rear view mirror for the fifth time, sinking into your seat with a long exhale.
you jumped and let out a yell of shock as someones knuckles rapped against your window, an all too familiar toothy grin shining down at you as you grabbed your bag and popped open your door.
"shortstack!" giorgio cheered, surprising you as he scooped you up into a bearhug. "well, maybe not so much anymore." he placed you back down as he looked you up and down with a beaming smile.
"hi gio." you laughed fondly, hugging him again as he squeezed you, having been just like another brother to you as you'd grown up, it seemed he hadn't changed a bit.
"still shorter than me though, and definitely shorter than lessi." the boy teased as you felt a wave of nausea wash over you as the realization once again sank in you'd be seeing her again after all these years.
"so its been years, how have you been?" the italian laughed, throwing an arm over your shoulder as you briefly caught him up on what you were doing now as he did the same, the two of you wandering into the familiar restaurant.
"hasn't changed eh?" he chuckled as the both of you looked around, fondly recalling memories of all the dinners your combined families would have here throughout your childhood, the same owners still preserving its legacy and charm years and years later.
"hey, i was really sorry to learn about your dad. he was a good man, one of the best." the boy gently grabbed your arm and tugged you to the side a little, genuine sorrow in his eyes at the words as your lips pressed together and you nodded.
pity, you hated pity.
"thanks gio." you squeezed his shoulder with a small smile as the two of you resumed your chatter and you spotted the rest of your families already gathered together at a large table up the back, the same table you'd always sat at.
it seemed the two of you were the last to arrive as cheers erupted and you both made your rounds saying hello, without even needing to look to your right you could feel a certain blondes eyes burning holes in the side of your head, but you weren't quite ready to accept that just yet.
"sweetheart look at you! absolutely beautiful." carol beamed, pulling you into a very tight hug after you'd finished once again being lifted into the air both by mario and luca, seemingly an italian tradition as thats how it had always been for you with the men of the russo household.
"its so lovely to see you again carol, mum was delighted to have bumped into you, i know she's missed you since it all happened." you admitted softly, the older woman nodding in understanding and rubbing your back comfortingly.
though the gesture was not anything new it did send your heart racing, as you knew another russo who was fond of that exact same thing and at the seemingly simply action a million memories came crashing down onto you and your knees buckled slightly.
doing your best to shake them off you greeted your own siblings and mum, and then without anyone else to use as a buffer you found yourself having to take a seat, and of course the only seat free would be next to her.
your stomach dropped as finally you had no choice but to look at her, the girl thankfully caught up in conversation with your sister sitting across from her you found her eyes no longer gazed back at you.
it presented you with a small fleeting moment to actually take her in.
long gone was the grubby ten year old brunette who would tackle you to the ground and sit on you to paint your face with mud after she'd spent the afternoon kicking footballs at your head, now sat before you was a woman.
you knew she'd forgone her natural hair colour for the bottle blonde, in fact you'd been the very first person she told the moment she even started to consider it. you'd gone with her to the salon for her appointment, showering her with praise at her new cut and colour which she'd clearly stuck with over the years.
gone was the baby fat which once rounded out her face, her features though still soft had become more defined over time, and you couldn't help but allow your eyes the luxury of roaming her incredibly toned arms which sat on full display, likely attributed to the hours she dedicated to training every day.
she had always been strong physically, easily able to overpower you during countless wrestling matches in your early youth, or pinning you down on her bed to steal the breath from your very lungs with a searing kiss in your teenage years, forever teasing you to no end at all the ways she bettered you in strength.
sat with one leg crossed over the other you marvelled at the tight fitting dress which adorned the curvature of her body, another thing that grubby ten year old alessia would have scoffed at, forever foregoing fancy dress ups and heels for football boots and a tattered hand me down manchester united jersey.
of course over the years you'd grown up together there was changes within you both, the biggest of everything being the fact you realized you loved one another in a way best friends shouldn't, thinking about one another the way the rest of your friends spoke about liking boys.
it was how the two of you had wound up being one anothers first everything, though that was a secret reserved only for the two of you to share, and one that would take much more time than a quick dinner for you to really unpack.
so swallowing down the hard lump in your throat at the cascading emotions washing over you, you screamed at your legs to move and cleared the distance between you and her, your sisters eyes flickering toward you alerting alessia the chair beside her would no longer be vacant.
sneaking a glance up toward you she had to stop herself from gasping. much like your own observations, to alessia gone was the shy smiley ten year old she'd chased around her backyard every afternoon and sat giggling for hours with tucked away in pillow forts on rainy days, replaced instead with a well spoken and quite frankly drop dead gorgeous woman looking to her expectantly.
alessia quickly stood to her feet, wincing at the obnoxious scrape of her chair against the hard wood floor, the two of you sizing one another up clearly unsure how to proceed.
"hi." you started softly, alessia swooning at the dimples which hadn't left you over the years, your nose still scrunching slightly as it always had when you smiled.
"hey." the striker managed to force out with her own nervous smile, the two of you hesitating for a moment, clearly both ticking over if a hug was the next most appropriate step.
though right as alessia began to move closer, arms ready to envelop your shorter form, it seemed the decision had been made for both of you as servers arrived.
handing out menus and starting to take drink orders meant the two of you dropped down into your seats, refusing to look one another in the eye as you spoke to everyone and anyone but each other.
alessia ordering a glass of white wine with a grateful smile her ears perked up and a slight frown appeared on her face as you murmured to the man you were content to stick with water.
"let me guess, no drinking on a school night?" your older sister lily had mocked with a teasing grin as you rolled your eyes at her over the lip of your glass.
"oh yes your mum was telling me you're teaching now! and you've just gotten back from working abroad?" carol tuned in at that point, seated beside your sister as you nodded.
"yeah i was in australia for two years teaching, i actually only got back a few weeks ago and started a position here in a local school." you confirmed with a smile, alessia glancing toward you with a look of surprise at the new information.
“oh that’s just wonderful, I can see you’d be the most amazing teacher. what age?” carol complimented sincerely as you sent her a grateful smile, you’d definitely found the right work for you and you adored your job so you always appreciated when it was picked up on by others.
“I was teaching grade five in australia but my class here now are only second years which is a bit of a change.” you answered with a chuckle, it had definitely been an adjustment but you honestly preferred it to how things had been overseas.
"got over your fear of planes then if you made it in one piece to australia?" luca chimed in with a wink as you waved him off, having always had a paraylsing fear of aircraft it had taken a lot for you to board that final plane away from everything you knew.
but with a new adventure awaiting and having done about as much preparation as one girl could do, once you were in the air it relieved you to know it actually wasn't all that bad.
"lessi just got back from australia, well we all did actually what a place it is. and what a shame we didn't know you were living there at the time!" mario added with a regretful smile before returning to his conversation with your brother.
"yes i was sorry to see how that ended for you lessi, you played brilliantly though! lil and i watched most of the games, footy for breakfast." your mum beamed, alessia unable to not share a grin with the woman, her happiness always having been infectious just as yours was, it wasn't hard to see where you got it from.
"y/n was at the semi finals too, in person." your brother harry chimed in as your face paled, having hoped this wouldn't come up as you felt ocean blue eyes pierce into the side of your head. "you were?" alessia's voice was soft and laced with surprise, and you were sure you were the only one who had heard her as you nodded.
"our school was given a handful of tickets by one of the parents who sits on the FA board, so i went with a few other teachers. the only english woman among a huddle of australians i wasn't the most popular on the train ride home or at work that next day!" you joked, cheeks flushed slightly red at all the eyes on you, grateful once the conversation seemed to shift to another topic.
but alessia wasn't quite finished with it yet.
"i wish i'd known you were there." the blonde admitted quietly, sparing a glance toward you as you stiffened. "you scored the winner, i didn't miss that." you replied softly, messing about with your fingers and staring down at the table as alessia's wine arrived.
she downed it in one go, tapping the server and murmuring for another as he nodded and took her glass away, the blondes head buzzing with the much needed liquid confidence.
"did your friends need to explain the rules to you?" alessia smiled, her tone now much lighter as you shared a look, own lips curling upwards at what she was insinuating.
"mostly just how offside works and what the hell VAR was." you joked, seemingly relaxing a little more in your chair as alessia did the same. "i see your ever growing passion for football hasn't changed then." the older girl teased sarcastically, ring clad fingers drumming against the table.
despite it being her one true love you couldn't have cared less about the sport, the only reason you feigned any interest was not to upset her or have her feel unsupported, and so you allowed her to teach you the rules of the sport so you would appreciate every game you sat at to watch her play, and you hardly ever missed a single one.
though that also never ever stopped her from forcing you to stand between the posts as she and her brothers fired shot after shot at you.
you’d often run off after a few minutes of being hammered and your best friend would chase you down, dragging you back to the goal and demanding you try to stop at least one of her shots and she would switch with you and let you kick at her instead.
it was safe to say you never did manage to get a turn at playing striker.
"could say the same for you, champion of europe now isn't it? bit of a step up from winner of the backyard round robins one on one with your brothers." your shoulder nudged into hers slightly, setting alessias entire body on fire just from the marginal contact, something she'd not felt in years.
"seems we have a lot to catch up on then." alessia smiled, your stomach erupting into butterflies at the slight rasp of her voice, scolding yourself for such feelings as you settled again.
"well six years is quite a long time."
~
though alessia was hyper aware of all of the physical changes within you, it warmed her to see there were still some things which stuck around all the same over the time you'd spent apart.
"some things don't change do they." the blonde murmured with an amused smile seeing you pick out every single tomato from your side salad, subtly moving them to an awaiting napkin as you blushed having been caught out.
growing up you’d always do the same, normally not much of a picky eater but what you didn’t like you didn’t like. thankfully for you though the blonde beside you ate like a hoover growing up with how much physical energy she exerted daily, especially in her early teen years. and would always take whatever you didn’t want, making sure her mum never noticed as you were determined not to have her think you didn’t like anything she prepared for you.
"here." alessia chuckled, reaching out to grab the small handful of tomato’s you'd collected and depositing them on her own plate, in turn dropping a few of her roast potatos onto your own in a silent exchange, shutting down your protests with a firm look.
"thanks." you smiled gratefully, conversation turning toward alessia now as everyone picked at their food. "so arsenal then less? big shift from you as a die hard united fan." your brother joked though knowing the girl as you did you didn't miss the way a small frown of discomfort flickered across her face.
but as soon as it was there it had disappeared again and she was chattering away about how happy she was with her new club, and admittedly you tuned out a little bit as your mind wandered to your lesson planning for tomorrow.
"hm?" you hummed as you heard your name, shooting back down to earth and rejoining the conversation. "head in the clouds still sweetheart!" carol teased as you laughed nervously, apologizing for your lack of focus and asking your mum to repeat herself.
"we were just saying that lessi's new place is quite close to yours." the older woman smiled with a look in her eye you didn’t like, sipping at her wine as you forced a smile. "oh is it? thats nice." you nodded, looking anywhere than at alessia who you knew was waiting for you to say something more.
though when you didn't the conversation turned once again and you exhaled slightly, however of course the conversation had shifted to what you and alessia were like as children, your mums swapping story after story which frankly sent your head into a spin.
you abruptly stood, excusing yourself to go to the bathroom as you started to feel a little overwhelmed, alessia's eyes following yours with a concerned frown. "go make sure she's okay lessi." her mum ordered, shooting down her protests with a stern look and shooing her away as the blonde sighed and got to her feet, following after you.
she hesitated on the handle for the bathroom, she was almost certain she'd had a hand in why you left the table in the first place so would her coming to check in on you even really help anything?
she mulled it over for a moment, hand still on the handle before she shook her head, deciding against it and taking a step away. though no sooner had she made up her mind was it changed for her as the door opened and you'd come striding out, smacking into the blonde whose hands grabbed at you.
though with her notoriously clumsy nature she found her footing slipped and she was sent tumbling to the floor, accidentally taking you down with her as your bum smacked against the concrete with a wince.
"fuck, i'm so sorry." alessia blurted out as her face burnt red in embarrassment, hurrying to her feet and offering you a hand up. "it's fine." you smiled politely, the blonde frowning at just how quickly you dropped her hand once you were back on your feet, attempting to step around her to return to the table.
"wait." her strong hands landed on your hips, spinning you around as your eyes widened and alessia realized her mistake, hastily snatching away her hands and stepping back, mumbling an apology.
"you said to wait?" you reminded, eyebrow raised clearly giving her the opportunity to say whatever she had intended. "oh. can we get a coffee sometime? to catch up." alessia forced out, grateful for the few glasses of wine in her system that allowed her to swallow the nerves which threatened to drown her.
"alessia-" you started and the striker could tell right away from your tone and furrowed eyebrows that you were angling for a no. she had to swallow her wounded pride at the realisation you were also the only one at the entire table who'd not called her a single nickname all night, and if she was honest you were really the only one who she wanted to.
"please." the blonde almost begged, her hand reaching out for yours again but pausing midway as you ever so slightly retreated, fingers falling dejectedly back to her side as you sighed.
"alessia i really don't know if-"
"we were best friends for a lot longer than anything else went on. i want to hear about what you've been up to, properly. not just a few awkward sentences at a dinner you clearly don't even want to be at."
you hated her for how well she knew you and could clearly still read you like a book, despite the length of time it had been since she'd even seen picked up and glanced at the cover.
"i've missed you."
and there it was, the three word confession seemingly innocent however it was enough to drive a metal spike right through your insides, and had you wishing you could curl into a ball and be swallowed up by the floor right about now.
"please? it would just be two old friends getting a coffee, catching each other up about the last six years of their lives. completely normal!" alessia tried again this time with a joking smile, desperately trying to ease the fast mounting tension arising between the two of you.
you had to respect her efforts, the taller girl rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet nervously, hands rubbing at the material of her dress desperate to try and wipe them dry, her skin soft and clammy at the sight of you in front of her again after so long.
"okay."

Diner - Dean Winchester
Title: Diner - Dean Winchester Words: 1,622 Relations: Dean Winchester X reader. TW:
Prompt:
Dean watching you work at your diner and he smiles every time you look at him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I adjusted my hair in the mirror as my hair sat beneath my work cap. I smiled at my reflection before leaving the work bathroom. I work in a diner that was famous years ago for something mediocre but folks around here are sentimental and think that makes us famous forever. We're quite a big diner but it's all about the atmosphere and we have an abundance of that. Everyone is pleasant and good to work with, no one argues, and no one sexually harasses you but the best part about working at Dino's Diner is all the different people you meet going about their travels.
Today seemed like any other day. I walked through the kitchen with a bright smile on my face. "Hey, guys," I called through to the kitchen staff who greeted me before continuing their conversation. I walked to the main computer and clocked in before tying my apron and greeting the manager.
"You know the drill. You're on the left side," He informed me with a smile making me laugh. It's all routine. The same thing every day but I like the repetition. It's predictable. The day was going by, as usual, greeting, seating, serving and parting but the day was soon changed when my fellow waitress, Trish, approached me behind the bar with a wide smile.
"What you smiling about?" I asked suspiciously looking her over.
"You've caught someone's attention," She commented with a smirk. My eyebrows knitted together in confusion, she chuckled as she gestured with her eyes over her tables. I gave them a glance over to see that I made eye contact with an extremely attractive man. He had a pen to his lips and instantly smiled. I smiled back to be polite and played it cool. Not that I was very good at that. I looked to Trish who smirked and pretended to do work while she stood beside me. "I've been trying to get his attention for hours and you walk in and have it in seconds." She commented making me roll my eyes. "You're hot and ignore it, why?" She added making me laugh.
"You only say that because you know me." I chuckled. Everyone always says I am a funny and reliable friend. I would drop anything for someone I love.
"Well, that guy doesn't seem to think so," She mocked making me laugh. I shook my head and walked away. I kept myself busy by working but found myself wondering about the guy. I kept checking over. Sometimes he was copying something from a book, other times he was watching me but every time my eyes met his he did the most amazing smile. A smile I knew I wanted. I began thinking of who he might be. Copying from a book suggested a student but he didn't look like one. I stood behind the bar sorting out some cutlery pots when Trish hurried towards me.
"I really need the bathroom can you take the bill to table 13?" She asked in a hurry practically just running past me. I didn't even have time to agree before she disappeared through the staff doors. I laughed and grabbed the bill for 13. The table was just behind the attractive man's table so went around him hoping to get a closer look. Yep, definitely the most handsome man I've ever seen. Table 13 gave me their payment and I waved them out of the door. As I was about to walk back to the bar I saw the man looking around, probably looking for me. I smiled. He doesn't know I'm behind him.
"Looking for something?" I asked walking into his line of sight. He didn't seem to get a fright but looked up at me with a wide smile.
"Yeah, I'm looking for the courage to ask for your number," He replied, pretty smoothly I might add. I thought about it. I know for a fact he's going to leave here with it but better play a little hard to get. He has the kind of eyes that could get me naked in seconds but he's not allowed to know that. Well, not yet.
"Hundreds of men come in here a day and some ask that same question, why should I say yes to you?" I asked with a smile.
"Because I'm adorable," He commented pulling a face like I was blind making me laugh.
"But if you know you're adorable then how do I know you're not the sleeping around kind of guy?" I asked with a soft smile. His smile grew at the challenge.
"I guess you'll just have to take a chance," He replied softly. I smiled at his answer.
"I'm Y/N" I added putting my hand out for him to shake.
"Dean," He shook my hand and smirked. I couldn't help but smile. I got my order pad out and wrote down my number and showed it to him. He went to grab it but I smirked as I pulled it away.
"You have to earn it," I shrugged as I placed the paper in my back pocket and walked away with a smirk. Admittedly shaking my hips slightly as I walked and continued to work. Trish was just leaving the staff room when I made it to the bar. We exchanged a smile.
"Table 13's tip," I explained as I handed her the change and walked away. I finished up sorting out the cutlery pots and found that Dean hadn't stopped smiling but whenever we made eye contact he smiled a kind of goofy and teeth-baring smile like he couldn't hold it back. I couldn't help but do the same. I tried not to make eye contact with him and as the night progressed I was getting better at stealing glances without him noticing.
"See you later, Y/N," Trish called with her coat and bag on. Dean and Carl, A regular trucker, were the only ones left inside.
"Oh, you finished?" I asked but it was obvious. I could feel Dean's eyes on me.
"Yeah, Management's letting me go home early, you can hold the fort for half an hour?" She questioned making me smile.
"Yeah, no problem. Have a good night, have some wine for me," I commented making her laugh.
"I sure will, and talk to that guy," She replied making me laugh. "Night," She called back as she began to exit making sure to suggestively say goodbye to Dean. Dean's eyes never left mine as she walked by, Trish was disappointed so once she was behind him she pretended to have a tantrum making me laugh. Dean was curious as to what I was laughing at and so turned around. Trish stopped but he had caught her, she chuckled nervously before leaving making me laugh harder. I tried covering my laughter but struggled and it took a while for me to compose myself. I finished cleaning up all the tables before realising I had no other work to do so walked over and took a seat in front of Dean. He instantly put his pen down and gave me his full attention.
"So, you've officially been here for 7 hours, I think it's a record," I commented making him chuckle.
"What can I say? I like the atmosphere, the people, the view and the coffee," He replied making me laugh.
"What are you writing?" I asked looking over the books in front of him.
"A book... about monsters," He answered pessimistically. My eyebrows knitted together a little. "It's about a guy who has to hunt monsters and demons to keep a pretty waitress' like you alive," He added making me laugh.
"Oh, yeah? What happens in the end?" I asked with a smile staring deep into his eyes. He chuckles.
"Haven't written that part yet," He replied smoothly. I couldn't help but smile. I nodded slightly as I leaned forward pulling my number out of my pocket. Dean was smiling from ear to ear as I placed the paper on the table and slid it towards him. He looked at me like I had handed him billions of dollars.
"You'll have to let me know how the book ends," I shrugged making him chuckle. He bit his lip as he nodded. "Don't lose it," I joked making him laugh. He picked the paper up and put it in his front pocket.
"I wouldn't dream of it," He added making me smile a little wider. He seems goofy. The bell above the door grabbed my attention showing new customers. Two truckers would often come in.
"Hey, guys, take a seat I'll be over in a minute," I instructed as I stood up and started tucking my chair in. "Since you have my number and your coffee mug is full can I get you anything else?" I asked sweetly, his smile never fading.
"Don't suppose you have apple pie?" He asked sounding a little disheartened.
"We do actually, it's just not on the menu," I replied making him smile but also look confused.
"Any reason?" He asked.
"Well, I make the apple pies from scratch and I can't make enough for the whole restaurant so it's reserved for the kind of regulars," I explained making his eyes widen.
"You bake apple pies... You're marriage material," He commented making me laugh.
"One apple pie coming up," I announced making him laugh again.
"Ooh, make that three," A trucker added making me chuckle as I nodded and walked to the kitchen. I returned with their pies and as I placed Dean's in front of him he spoke.
"Go out with me," He said sounding sheepishly dominant. I smiled and nodded.
"I finish in 10 minutes,"

Top 5 platonic friendship moments
Thank you SO much for asking me this, I love friendship!!!!
Nick and Sand Kissing in Only Friends, Ep. 9
Tumblr media
gif by @aprilblossomgirl
I know you have your thoughts on Only Friends at this point because of how it ended, but there were a lot of things I do think Only Friends got right, one of my favorites being the platonic make out session between Nick and Sand. I mean, we talked about this before. It felt so queer, and it also did a really great job showing the difference between platonic and romantic feelings, because the kiss gave us nothing, and did the same for Team Second Option. I will forever love the fact that they made out, giggled, cuddled, and then giggled some more about it because it was kinda awkward and a little embarrassing, but they love each other as friends and that kiss changed literally nothing about their dynamic.
Porjai giving Mhok a Massage in Last Twilight, Ep 6
Tumblr media
gif by @khaopybara
I like that some of the shows this year are starting to get in to the relationship dynamics of exes who stayed friends after. Like, listen, I've never been in a relationship before, and I know why it does happen where exes never really speak again, but it never made sense to me why 99% of the ex-partner relationship dynamics I've ever seen are bad. Like, this is a person who matter so much to you, and then you're just never going to see them or talk to them again? I love this massage moment that Porjai has with Mhok especially because it feels familial and familiar and friendly, and it is the scene that made me be like "man I can't believe they used to date" in exactly the same way that Porjai was confused when Day called Mhok her boyfriend.
Wataru Being a Little Shit on Shiro's Birthday in What Did You Eat Yesterday? Season 2, Ep. 7
Tumblr media
Wataru is such a little shit, and I love him desperately, and his whole relationship with Shiro and Kenji is so strange. He's such a complainer, and while it can feel like the four gay men in this show hang out and are friends because they are the only gay people they know, it is moments like these that sell their actual friendship for me. Sending your friend a bouquet with a MASSIVE 50 balloon in it because you know it'll piss them off is pique best friend behavior.
Gay Boy Cuddle Pile in A Boss and a Babe, Ep. 9
Tumblr media
gif by @paisky
I am not immune to a gay boy cuddle pile. I will never be immune to a gay boy cuddle pile.
Having had multiple conversations with a straight male friend about how much cis men lack platonic, physical touch from friends I now get emo about when boys hug, cuddle, kiss cheeks, hold hands with each other especially if they are not dating or hoping to date.
Rose Trying to Steal Charn's Phone in Laws of Attraction, Ep. 4
Tumblr media
gif by @panncakes
It's such sibling energy, and I love it so much. As an immature adult, I love when adultier adults than me are shown being childish/immature themselves. No one should be expected to be put together all the time, and I moments like these show such a beautiful form of love.
and cause Laws of Attraction is technically a lakorn...
Sailom and Yiwa in the entirety of Wedding Plan
Tumblr media
They love each other so much they were going to enter a Lavendar Marriage just so that Yiwa especially could be free. I can't say much about them because if I start talking about them I won't stop. But it is by far the most sacred form of platonic love we've had all year.

I Feel You - Jamie Tartt x demi!Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello to my faithful followers! I'm sorry I've been so inactive for the past couple weeks I've been down in the dumps and sorta uninspired.
But the crazy thing is I've hit 1k followers! What? How is that even possible! I'm planning to put together a little celebration soon but for now, here's an unrequested fic that I wrote featuring a demi!reader on the acespec!
See y'all soon!
Words: 2.2k
Warnings: Fem!Reader (she/her pronouns), Drunkenness, I think that's it
OooO
Jamie had to be the lamest footballer in the world. It was a Friday night and instead of going out and finding a club to get drunk at, he was sitting on his couch reading a bloody book. Fucking Roy Kent had gotten to him, that bastard. He wasn’t expecting anyone to come by so when there was a knock on the door, Jamie was surprised.
There on his doorstep was (Y/N). Pacing, wobbly, back and forth seemingly trying to take off her shoes without sitting down.
“(Y/N)?” He opened the door, turning on the porch light.
(Y/N) was someone Jamie had been friends with for a long time. Longer than anyone else, maybe. She’d grown up with im in Manchester, and gone to college in London when he got called up. When he was busy being a prick and cutting people out of his life, she stayed, refusing to be cut. And here she was, drunk on his doorstep.
She spun in spot, her eyes lighting up when she saw him. “Jamie!”
She fell forward onto him in a sloppy hug. Jamie caught her in his arms, realizing with a chuckle that she was beyond wasted. He hoisted her up so she was tucked into his side so he could properly assist her while closing the door and turning off the lights.
“Jamieee,” She sang, sweetly, pulling Jamie with all her might to get them to topple over.
“At least one of us had a good night,” Jamie muttered.
“It was ‘meh’,” (Y/N) admitted, shrugging. “Felt all wonky all night.”
Jamie pulled her into his bathroom, sitting her down on the toilet seat. She slumped back, as it finally feeling her exhaustion. He filled up his water cup and handed it to her, having to help her put her hand on and grip the cup.
“Drink,” he instructed.
“It’s like, I’m over here, looking and waiting,” she continued, pausing for a second to glug down a large sip of water. “And everyone else is over there. Falling in love, dating, kissing, and I’m just,” she made a raspberry with her mouth.
Jamie found a cloth and the bottle of makeup remover she’d left at his house one time, dabbing some of the serum on the cloth. He walked back over to her, kneeling so he could be at eye height with her.
“Mmhmm,” he hummed, starting to dab at her face like she’d taught him.
“Why can’t I feel that, Jamie?” She whined, leaning into his touch. “Why can't I just find a dude and just kiss him? What’s wrong with me?”
Jamie frowned, pausing his dabbing for a moment. “What do you mean, darling?”
“I just mean,” now she was frowning too. “I try to go on dates, hook up with random guys, and I just feel… nothing.” Jamie, pursed his lips, moving the cloth gently over her face. Her eyes fluttered closed as he swished over her eyelids delicately. “But I’m so tired of waiting… I don’t want to settle anymore.”
“You shouldn’t have to settle,” Jamie agreed softly.
“But I also don’t want to be alone forever,” she opened her eyes and Jamie stopped washing her face.
“You won’t be alone forever,” he droned. This was a conversation they’d had before. She was afraid she’d never find the one, and Jamie reassured her that she would. Of course, she would. She was beautiful, and funny, and headstrong in all the important ways.
“I’ve only ever liked one person, in my whole entire life,” she hiccuped. “And he…”
“He what, love?” Jamie went to stand but she grabbed onto his pants, stopping him from moving away. He looked down and she looked very small. He’d never seen her look so small before.
“He’s been my best friend since we were kids,” she muttered, looking up at him. “When I look at him, I feel this flutter in my chest. And no matter how hard I try to feel that with other people, I just can’t.” She looked between his eyes. “I can’t.”
Jamie could feel his heart pounding in his chest, his blood rushing in his ears. Was she saying what he thought she was saying? She couldn’t be. Either way, she needed to go to bed.
“You… uh… you can stay here tonight, yeah?” He took the cup from her hand and filled it back up. “I’ll go put out some sleep clothes in the guest bed.”
She looked disappointed when he didn’t acknowledge her rambling, but she nodded, taking a pitiful sip from her cup of water. He watched her a moment before pounding on the sink and walking out to grab a shirt for her.
As he set up the bed for her, his mind was racing through what she had said. The best friend from childhood that she’d liked forever. It couldn’t be him… could it? Not after everything he’d put her through.
When he walked back to the bathroom, she’d fallen asleep on the toilet. Chest rising and falling steadily, her eyelashes resting against her cheeks. His chest fluttered as he looked at her, a gentle smile coming over his lips. He slid one arm under her legs and another around her back, resting her head on his shoulder. She curled into him immediately, nestling her nose into his neck.
He brought her to the room, he’d set up maneuvering her carefully so he could take her clothes off. She’d changed in front of him before, felt comfortable around him, but he still was careful of his hands and quickly putting on more comfortable clothes.
She mumbled incoherently as he laid her down and pulled the covers over her. His hand rested on her cheek for a moment, her face slightly flushed from her night out. He was tempted to get in the bed with her, keep her safe and warm in his arms but he swatted that thought away quickly. Instead he leaned down and pressed a kiss to her temple.
The next morning when he woke up, he went to check on her, but she wasn’t in the room. Then he heard humming and the smell of bacon filling the air. He padded down the steps and saw her in the kitchen, cooking and sipping on his coffee like she owned the place. He shoved his tongue in his cheek to stop himself from laughing as he watched her.
She spun around, dancing to the song in her head, yelping and freezing when she saw him.
“Oh!” She sighed, throwing her hand over her heart when she realized it was him. “Jamie! You scared me.”
“Scare you? This is my house, you know,” Jamie laughed, leaning across the island.
She rolled her eyes, sliding a cup of coffee across to him. “Two creams, one sugar, yeah?”
Jamie looked down at the coffee, knowing Roy would kill him if he took a sip. ‘Your body is a temple’ and ‘caffeine is a drug’ and whatever, but she was looking at him so sweetly there was no way he could say no to it. So, he reached down and took a sip.
“That’s it, yah,” it tasted perfect. No one else made his coffee like she did. “Do you know how you ended up here?”
She slowed her cooking for a second. He couldn’t see her face, she was turned facing the wall, but he saw her back tense just the slightest bit.
“Uh… I don’t remember, really,” (Y/N) answered. “Just woke up here… figured it was just where I thought I’d be safest.”
Jamie felt his cheeks heat up, trying to hide it by taking a sip of his coffee. “You, eh, were out with the girls?”
She turned around, sliding the bacon onto the two plates she’d set out. She was deep in thought, he could tell by the way she picked the skin off her lip, reaching up to pull a piece of hair out of her face.
“Yeah…” she whispered. “It was Larsen’s birthday. Wanted to go have a hot girl night. Find some guys to go home with.”
Ah. Now he got it. She’s gone out with her friends and they’d all gone home with guys and she was left alone. She was upset because she thought she was unwanted. He grimaced at her.
“Did Larsen ditch you again? I told you to stop hanging out with her,” Jamie comforted, reaching to grab a piece of bacon. (Y/N) didn’t answer, she just stared down at the greasy meat on her plate. “Oh, c’mon, (Y/N), you can’t really believe that because of one bad night that no one wants you.”
She furrowed her brow, shaking her head. “No that’s….” She looked up at him, looking back and forth between his eyes. “Do you really think that I couldn’t find one person to go home with?”
Now Jamie was confused. He pursed his lips, not sure how to answer.
“He was great. Attractive enough, I suppose, saying all the right things,” she mumbled, suddenly unable to meet his eyes. “We chatted for a while. But I just felt… nothing.” Her fist open and closed as she fought the nervous energy. “He was kissing me, holding me, doing all the things that should have made me feel… something. But it was like… I felt nothing! It was like there was something blocking my brain from just latching onto something random.”
“He was… kissing you?” Jamie cringed as he said it. He wasn’t sure exactly why he’d said it and she looked at him like she was crazy.
“Yes, he was,” she scoffed, running a hand through her hair. “He wanted to do a lot more but I couldn’t feel it. I didn’t feel anything.” She rested her elbows on the counter, her head in her hands. “God, what is wrong with me? Every other person we went out with went home with whatever stranger they’d met that night. But me? I feel so… stunted.”
Jamie was surprised by her sudden admission. It wasn’t something he’d felt before, but he wanted her to feel the things he felt for her. The care and softness that he felt for her.
“I know I want it,’ she continued. “I feel it sometimes… for… one person. He knows me and I know him. And I try to get myself to get over it, to feel it for someone else. Anyone else, but no matter how hard I try. I just… can’t feel it.” She shook her head, pushing herself off the island. “Sorry, I don’t know where that came from.”
Jamie stayed still for a moment, figuring out his thoughts.
“S’okay,” he finally responded. “I’m sorry you feel like that, you deserve to feel loved and wanted.”
Her eyes snapped back up to his, her cheeks turning red, spreading up to her ears. Jamie moved around to the other side of the island so he was right next to her, leaning against her side. She kept staring straight forward, her eyes turning shiny with unshed tears.
“You said… there was one person,” he implored, pursing his lips into a duck shape. “One person who you felt something for.”
She nodded, not speaking, brushing her eyes furiously.
“Who… who is that person,” he asked.
She let out a shaky laugh, cocking her head before looking up at him.
“I think you know,” she replied quietly, sucking her bottom lip into her mouth. He looked at her, letting his hand slide down to intertwine with hers. Her breathing hitched and her chest started to heave. “Jamie, wait, please.” She stared at their entwined hands, scared that it was going to go away. “I can’t… I’m not like other girls. I can’t give you what you want, not right away, maybe not for a long time.”
Jamie shook his head, moving his free hand up to touch her face. “I don’t want that, all I want is to make you feel loved. All I want is for you to feel how you deserve to feel. And I’m willing to wait however long it takes, and to do whatever it takes to make sure that you feel that love.”
“Oh, Jamie,” she gasped out, reaching up to touch his face too. They stood in the kitchen, the soft morning light dappling in through the windows, holding each other's faces. He looked between her lips and her eyes. “Jamie?”
“Yeah?”
“You can kiss me.”
His eyes were big and wanting as he looked at her. “Are you sure? Like really sure, like you aren’t just saying it to make me happy?”
“No, Jamie, I want it.”
The words scarcely left her mouth when he cut her off, pressing his lips to hers. And there it was. She felt it. She felt that electricity that her friends had talked about. It rocked through her, stealing her breath away as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, his coming to creep up her back, lifting her up slightly.
“Can you feel that, love?” he hummed, in between kisses. “Can you feel how much I love you?”
“I can feel it,” she responded, pulling back to look up at him. “I can feel you.”

Random Moon Sign Observations | pt.1
Tumblr media
(*based on personal experiences and opinions. look at the whole natal chart to gain insight, just one placement isn't enough and some aspects/house placements can make contradictions to the below information*)
• Aries moon •
-makes more moves in the night (esp 12H)
-extremely protective over those they love
-when comfortable with someone they will make little noises and funny sounds, very animated beings
-feels emotions intensely, the most reactive to their own emotions and environment, in the physical body they feel every emotion deeply
-will jump head first into new passions or romances unless the chart indicates otherwise
-it's like pulling teeth to get their vulnerable side out, as time progresses they learn that they don't have to be the hard-shelled thing their early environments created and that being vulnerable is brave
-most will only have a few people reach their inner soft core in their lifetime
-artists in their own right, alone time is essential for the creative process
-inner competition with themselves, instead of seeing others as competition they will try to beat themselves and be a better version of yesterday
• Taurus moon •
-always around close friends, typically has 1 or 2 people they grew up with that they keep in their lives forever or atleast as long as humanely possible
-is it bad to say these people are pretty when they cry? I've never seen a Taurus moon ugly cry before
-extremely grounded, and extremely guarded
-have a hard time letting people into their innermost self or world, but once they do you won't be going anywhere anytime soon
-emotional support person for close friends/family
-has emotional support accessories
-bad smells can put them into a very bad mood, very sensitive nose
• Gemini moon •
-consistently stimulating themselves through conversations/books/video games/hobbies
-can struggle with consistent mood swings
-appreciates design and loves to build things/put things together
-can be the friend that knows everyone's behind-the-scenes drama
-witty and goofy people (my fav)
-they tend to bury themselves in a hobby when they're not feeling the best mentally (sometimes as a distraction without actually addressing what's wrong)
-asking questions can actually make them feel better, even if it's on random things, emotional support knowledge intake lol
-extremely good at problem-solving
• Cancer moon •
-the most emotionally guarded moon sign, and will guard their family/close friends emotions like their own
-sensitive yet sensual
-gives the warmest hugs
-remembers the smallest details for the longest amounts of time
-has to let their emotional body go with the flow and ride the "waves", once they feel an emotion come over they can't go around it.. they have to see it to the end
-if conjunct the asc their emotions are painted all over their face
-if you've ever made one mad, you know what those claws feel like... they are some of the most scary people to make angry.. imo
-sentimental daydreamers/ and dreamers
-most can't get over that one ex
-4 course meal @ 2am is to be expected, especially if liquor is involved
-one of the brightest imaginations next to Pisces, their memories are alive, well and extremely vivid
• Leo moon •
-once you get close to them, they can feel entitled to spending time with you (in my experience)
-can let things bottle up and EXPLODE
-I've noticed when they are passionate about someone they can keep a lot of those feelings inside and slowly reveal them overtime.. not as extravagant as some would think, but they will definitely make you feel like you're the only one in the world when they care about you
-spending time with them is so fun because they will make everything into a joke and silly
-the goofiest of the moon signs imo (they do it for the attention but I love it, give me more)
-can be very demanding emotionally from others, whether it's communicated or not
-expects the utmost loyalty and gives it back in return, even on small things.. these people are probably the most loyal
-will place people on a pedestal within their bright orbit, sometimes they can fall into people that give them a lot of attention, and not for the right reasons..
-the most generous (and they mean it)
-likes to do things that gets them recognized, even in a small town/group setting.. they want to play sports to get that trophy and team photo
• Virgo Moon •
-please for the love of god bring your own tums
-one of the biggest nurturers
-very specific style and aesthetic
-always on time, or at least their internal clock is
-the sleepiest employee
-out of all the mutable moons, I think virgo can sit and process their emotions the longest
-can also be the same moon sign to brush off emotional encounters until they've processed their end enough
-prone to addiction just like pisces/12H moons, using a substance as an escape, becoming an addiction most times because they strive for routine, and if something bad just happens to fall into that routine.. they can have a hard time removing it (emotional security in routines, even if the routine looks messy from an outsiders perspective)
-literal sweethearts (angels in their own right)
• Libra moon •
-the most loved in the room when they walk in, idk how to explain it
-can be a tad on the partner crazy side, hopeless romantic
-emotional support person for a lot of people but they do expect the same in return
-depending on what else is in the chart, they can become very codependent on another person and FAST.. they won't listen to anyone when it comes to their beloved
-similar to a gemini moon, they can struggle to find emotional balance, but this is mostly caused by allowing outside influences to effect their emotional body (ex: partners)
-when they're good, they're GOOD and when they're bad, they're BAD
-does the best when they're in a 1-1 setting bouncing feelings and ideas off another person, they tend to show up or call at the most random times to chat about something like their car insurance, almost like, can you listen to this idea and share what you think? (I love them for it)
-i know I said it before but, HOPELESS ROMANTICS 💔🔥

Entwined Destinies: A Love Story Across Worlds | W. Maximoff
Tumblr media
Word count - 1,065
{synopsis ~ In the bustling city streets, Y/n's life takes a turn when they collide with Wanda, a mysterious woman with captivating green eyes. Their chance encounter leads to a moment of connection that feels like fate. As they exchange contact information, both Y/n and Wanda sense a pull towards each other, setting the stage for a story of unexpected romance and intrigue. The spark between them ignites a journey of discovery and self-reflection as they navigate the complexities of their growing relationship.}
A Chance Encounter
Y/n hurried through the crowded city streets, their mind a whirlwind of thoughts. The relentless pace of the day had worn them down, leaving a growing sense of restlessness that had become all too familiar. They felt adrift, searching for a purpose that continued to elude them, despite their best efforts.
As they turned the corner, lost in their own contemplations, Y/n collided with a figure, sending papers and belongings scattering across the sidewalk. "Oh god, I'm so sorry!" they exclaimed, quickly bending down to help gather the scattered items.
That's when Y/n looked up and found themselves captivated by the most mesmerizing green eyes they had ever seen. The woman before them possessed an aura of power and mystery that was both intriguing and a little intimidating.
"No, it's my fault. I should have been paying more attention," she replied, her voice soft and melodic. Y/n felt a jolt of electricity pass between them as their eyes met, and in that moment, they knew their life was about to change forever.
"I'm Wanda," she said, offering Y/n a warm smile as they finished collecting the scattered items.
"Y/n," they replied, their heart pounding in their chest. The name felt like a whisper on their lips, barely audible over the cacophony of the city streets.
In the days that followed, Y/n found themselves drawn to Wanda, unable to shake the feeling that their chance encounter had been more than just a random collision. There was something extraordinary about this woman, a quality that transcended the physical and tugged at the very depths of Y/n's soul.
They began spending more time together, drawn to each other's company like moths to a flame. Y/n found themselves captivated by Wanda's soft-spoken manner and the way she carried herself with a quiet confidence that was both alluring and a little intimidating.
As they grew closer, Y/n began to sense that there was more to Wanda than met the eye. She spoke of her past in only the vaguest of terms, and there were moments when a shadow would cross her features, hinting at a depth of pain and trauma that Y/n could only begin to imagine.
Despite the mystery that surrounded her, Y/n found themselves falling deeper in love with each passing day. There was an undeniable connection between them, a deep understanding that transcended the physical and spoke to the very core of their being.
They spent hours talking, sharing their hopes, dreams, and fears, and Y/n marveled at the way Wanda listened, her eyes filled with a compassion that seemed to see straight into their soul. In those moments, Y/n felt truly seen, their insecurities and doubts melting away in the warmth of Wanda's gaze.
Yet, even as their bond deepened, Y/n couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease. Wanda's past remained shrouded in mystery, and Y/n found themselves grappling with their own fears and insecurities, uncertain if they had the strength to stand by Wanda's side, whatever challenges lay ahead.
One evening, as they sat together in a cozy cafe, the conversation took an unexpected turn. Wanda's eyes darkened, and she reached across the table, taking Y/n's hands in her own.
"There's something I need to tell you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Something I've kept hidden for a very long time."
Y/n felt their heart skip a beat, a surge of both trepidation and anticipation coursing through their veins. "What is it?" they asked, their voice trembling slightly.
Wanda took a deep breath, her gaze unwavering. "I have... powers," she said, the words barely audible over the din of the cafe. "Powers that I've struggled to control, powers that have brought me great pain and suffering."
Y/n's eyes widened, their mind racing as they tried to process this new information. They had sensed that there was something extraordinary about Wanda, but this revelation was beyond anything they could have imagined.
"Powers?" they echoed, their voice barely above a whisper. "What kind of powers?"
Wanda's expression was one of equal parts fear and resignation. "I can manipulate energy, control minds, and even alter reality itself," she said, her fingers tightening around Y/n's hands. "It's a gift and a curse, one that I've spent years trying to come to terms with."
Y/n sat in stunned silence, their mind whirling with the implications of Wanda's confession. They had always known that there was something special about her, but the extent of her abilities was truly mind-boggling.
"I wanted you to know the truth," Wanda continued, her voice tinged with a vulnerability that Y/n had never seen before. "I've kept this part of myself hidden, afraid of how you might react. But I've come to care for you deeply, and I couldn't bear the thought of keeping this from you any longer."
Y/n felt a surge of emotion, a mix of awe, fear, and something akin to wonder. They had never imagined that they would find themselves in a situation like this, but as they looked into Wanda's eyes, they knew that there was no turning back.
"I... I don't know what to say," they admitted, their voice barely above a whisper. "This is all so... so incredible. But I'm here, Wanda. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere."
Wanda's eyes widened, and for a moment, Y/n saw a flicker of hope in their depths. "You mean that?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
Y/n nodded, squeezing Wanda's hands in a gesture of reassurance. "Yes, I mean it. Whatever this means, whatever challenges we might face, I'm in this with you. I'm not going to run away from this, from you."
As the words left their lips, Y/n knew that they had made a choice that would irrevocably change the course of their life. But in that moment, with Wanda's hands in theirs and the weight of her secret shared, they felt a sense of purpose and belonging that they had never experienced before.
This was the beginning of a journey, one that would test the very limits of their love and their courage. But Y/n was ready, their heart filled with a determination that would carry them through whatever lay ahead.
A/N - Hey guys, umm, sorry if this is bad. This is the first ever story I've written. I'm planning on writing more chapters, lmk if yall think that's a good idea. I'm also open for requests and all that. I don't really know what else to say, but other than that, I hope you enjoyed reading it. <3

I just wanna know how 7x09 goes from being this goofy, hilarious take on Groundhog Day, with moments like Daisy and Jemma casually DYING on the floor, with Deke proceeding to have a mental breakdown over it (because HELLO he just watched Daisy and his nana dramatically drop dead on the floor), while Coulson groans with annoyance about how much of a pain in the ass it is. And, of course, “phlebotinum”, and Enoch casually destroying everybody, and Coulson slowly but surely losing his mind, some cute Dousy moments too, among other absolute gems.
Then you get straight up gut-punched by conversations like Daisy and Coulson’s, about the irony of the time loop being a metaphor for his fear of the inevitable future where he will have to watch every single person he cares about die because someone “decided he should.”
Like wow. Hit me right where it hurts, why don’t you? (I could make a whole post about that conversation alone.)
Not to mention the power of Enoch’s last scene:
“Does it hurt?
It does, a bit. But it's not the physical pain that troubles me. I am acutely aware that in my thousands of years observing humans, I never used to feel lonely. I've been alone many times. To be candid, I preferred it, but it wasn't until I met this particular team of SHIELD agents that being alone meant feeling lonely. And I don't care for it. So, I am feeling, as you might expect, some anxiety now…
You don't have to. You're not alone. Daisy and I will stay with you right up until the end.
That is very kind of you. But, it's that last part, isn't it? You can stay with me up until the end, but you cannot come with me at the end. I will have to leave you and I will have to do that alone and I can't help wondering when that happens, will I feel lonely?
I can say with some authority that you're not wrong. Dying is lonely. But the feeling is temporary, at least for the person dying. The ones who are left behind… less so. I guess that's the one advantage to going first.
Yes. It's different watching your friends go before you, isn't it? I've been through that as well. It can be harder to stay than to leave. I'm sorry, Philip J. Coulson.
Enoch, the team will carry on the mission. We will survive because of you. Thank you.
You are most welcome. But Agent Johnson, while your friends will indeed survive, the team will not.
What do you mean?
I have seen the future. Carry on this mission and cherish it for it will be your last mission together.
That's not possible. Enoch, this is my family.
Of course. Yet, this is the nature of families. I have seen it countless times on countless worlds. People arrive, so we celebrate, and people leave us, so we grieve. We do what we can with the time in-between but the cycle is always there. No one escapes it. Not even me.
Which means you are not alone. You are apart of that cycle.
Like every other living thing.
Fitz... he was my best friend.
And you are a good friend to Fitz. You are a good friend to all of us.
As I have always...”
Like holy SHIT, man. I am on the FLOOR. It never fails to get me each and every damn time. I resonate on such a deep level with that entire scene, and it honestly affects me so greatly, even to this day. The emotional chokehold that it has on me is unmatched. Someone put the entire thing on my grave tbh.
I could go on about it forever, but basically, 7x09 is just my favourite episode of television ever, and I can say that wholeheartedly. Hats off to everyone who worked on that episode (and every episode let’s be real) I swear. It will forever hold such a special place in my heart.

———————————————————————————
You guys had been walking for what felt like forever. Dustin was in the front with the compass reassuring everyone that something was finally happening while the rest of you trailed a little behind.
“Dustin? Can you slow down? Dustin?” Eddie chases after Dustin, not doing much of anything as Dustin almost walks into lovers lake.
You all looked at each other a bit confused as to why there would even be a gate in lovers lake.
“a gate into another dimension at the bottom of a lake. That's not terrifying at all.” You mumble while shaking your head.
Steve was right beside you, and as the words left your mouth he took a small step closer to you, hoping maybe that it would give you some type of peace of mind. You hadn't really thought much about it and continued to listen in on the conversation.
You all had come to the conclusion that much like the Demogorgon, Vecna left open gates wherever he attacked. This specific gate being caused by the death of Patrick.
“I guess there's only one way to find out.” and the old wooden boat was uncovered and not so gently put into the water.
You and Robin were the first to get in the boat, both of you earning a look from steve that clearly said ‘be careful’
Though the look he had for Robin was much different from the one he gave you. Hers was a concern for a best friend, and the one he held for you was a concern for the girl he was unequivocally in love with.
It was clear that the little boat would not hold more than a few people so with five grown teenagers now on it, it was pushing the limits.
Dustin, Lucas, and Max hadn't been very happy that they weren't allowed to join on the adventure, but everyone on that boat would do anything to keep them safe.
Steve was sitting closely next to you while Nancy, Robin, and Eddie were on the other end.
“You good.” Steve tried to talk softly, but it came out more in a rough tone.
“Yeah I'm good,” you gave him a reassuring smile before you looked out into the water, waiting patiently for something to happen.
It was only a few moments later when the compass started going haywire. All of their attention was then focused as the boat came to a stop.
The silence was interrupted by a radio from Dustin, clearly confused as to what was going on.
While everyone was focused on the compass, a very bright idea popped into your head, as you stood up taking off your shoes.
“Woah there, what the hell are you doing?” Steve's eyes were wider than you had ever seen, and there was concern plastered on his features.
“Someone has gotta go down there.” Before Steve could say anything else you continued, “I can hold my breath longer than any of you guys, and I've been a certified lifeguard for years.”
Steve only scoffed at your attempt to convince everyone you should go, “I'm not letting you go down there. You are out of your mind.”
“Steve, I'm very capable of handling myself. I understand you think I'm a fragile girl, but I'm good.” You almost snap at him, not knowing the real reason he was so adamant about you not going down there.
“Seriously Y/N! That's not why-.” He was unable to finish his sentence because you had dove straight into the water, flashlight in hand.
“Y/N!” His heart was now racing terribly fast as he damn near jumped off the boat.
“Steve, she can handle herself, it's fine.” Nancy reasoned with him as Robin sat him back down.
While everyone was nervously waiting for you to resurface you had finally found the bright red gate. You couldn't help the curiosity as you inched your hand closer to the opening, what you didn't expect was a moment, startling you enough to drop the flashlight and swim quickly to the surface again. Luckily you had just enough air left in your lungs to reach the top, immediately grabbing the side of the boat.
“I found it.” You announced.
Steve didn't even waste a second before he grabbed your hand, getting ready to pull you out of the water, that was until you felt something tugging on your legs, almost pulling you under again.
“Shit! Steve, don't let go of my hand.” You pleaded as you started to feel the tugging again.
Steve was now desperately trying to hold onto you, but your hands had been too slippery for you to get a good grip, and before anyone could help you were pulled right from his grasp and into the water, headed straight for the upside-down.
You tried to fight against whatever was wrapped around your leg but it was no use as you were now being roughly pulled through to the other side. The tugging didn't end there though because as soon as air was filled back into your lungs, your back was now on fire as it was viciously dragged over the rough ground until you were thrown up against something.
You were letting out heavy breaths as you painfully stood up from the ground, taking a look around what seemed to be lovers lake with no water.
It wasn't long before your attention was pulled to something flying in the sky headed straight for you. You didn't have much time to prepare for whatever was heading toward you so your best option was to grab a wooden paddle from the wrecked boat on the ground.
You swatted at the monster, yet it didn't do much good as two other ones came from different directions. They had effectively knocked you to the ground.
“Get Off!” you screamed painfully as one had its tail wrapped tightly around your neck. You weren't ready for what happened next when one of the bats sank its teeth and claws right into your side, followed by another doing the same thing.
“AH,” You were now screaming in agony as a blinding hot pain shot through you, and you had almost accepted your fate when Steve showed up.
All he could see was red when he saw you were being hurt. Between him, Nancy, Robin, and Eddie they had managed to get the last bat off of you.
You weren't sure if it was the adrenaline or something else that willed you to stand, but you did, helping as much as you could to fight off the bats.
A few moments passed and the bats seemed to settle around the gate blocking everyone off from going back to their dimension.
“Shit, shit, shit…are you okay.” Steve was now at your side, running his eyes up and down your entire body taking in all of your injuries.
“I think they took a little fresh but I'm okay.” You reassured him, honestly not feeling as bad as you probably should have as the adrenaline was coursing through your body.
“Guys come on!” Nancy began ushering them all into the tree line hoping for a little peace from the bats.
With Steve holding tightly onto your hand, you all ran as fast as you could to safety.
After you all had made it to skull rock, you started feeling the true effects of your injuries. You stepped away from the group a moment as your vision blurred, sending you falling into the side of the big rock.
“Y/N!” Steve rushed over to you, supporting the majority of your body weight, knowing you couldn't really hold yourself up.
“I-I’m good. Just got a little dizzy.” Your voice was small and painful.
Steve gently rested your body against the rock, getting a good look at your torso, “You're not okay, you're losing too much blood.” He was now panicking.
Before much else could happen Nancy ripped the fabric from some of her clothing and handed it to steve.
“Here, let's sit you down.” He gently wrapped his arms around you, allowing you to drop to the ground onto your knees. “I need to take your shirt off.” Steve blurted out, unsure of how to word it.
“Wow Harrington, don't you think you should ask me on a date first.” You tried to make light of this very shitty situation.
“Humor is intact, that's a good sign of not being infected with rabies.” Robin's nervous voice rang through the air, earning another small giggle from you.
Though you had been completely joking, it hit a little too close to home for Steve and the look on his face sent a curious thought through your head, though you didn't have much time to explore it because Steve was now lifting your mangled shift off your body leaving you only in a black bra. It was then that his hands had started to nervously shake and he was trying his best not to focus on how you looked in a bra.
“This is gonna hurt.” Steve was preparing you, fabric in hand ready to wrap around your waist.
“Please just get it over with.” You shut your eyes tightly, waiting for the contact to be made on your sore skin.
Steve tried being as gentle as possible, but every whimper you let out sent a crack through his heart.
“All done.” He finished the bandaging off with a small tie holding it in place, then gentling pulling you up off the ground making sure you could stand steadily.
You hadn't had a chance to thank him before he began taking his own shirt off. Even with the pain you were in, you couldn't help but stare at his bare chest for a moment, suddenly realizing how close the two of you truly were.
“Here put this on, your shirt is pretty done for.” He watches you struggle for a moment trying to get the shirt on without pain shooting through your side.
“C-Can you help me?” Your voice was timid, but Steve immediately helped get the shirt over your head and in the proper spot.
Your hair was now ruffled and covering your face, from the shirt going over your head and Steve couldn't stop himself from brushing it out of your eyes.
“Thank you, Steve, for everything.” He was now intensely looking at you, brain clearly going in overdrive.
An overwhelming amount of emotion had washed over him, immediately sending tears to the brim of his eyes.
“I'm sorry I couldn't hold on to your hand.” He was now recalling the moment you got pulled underwater.
You knew exactly where his mind was going, and you also knew that absolutely none of this was his fault, “Don't even go there. This is not your fault okay? You saved me.”
“I love you.” was all he could think to say.
“I love you too,” You uttered back, not understanding the connotation of what he just said.
He took your face into his hands, one resting on each cheek. “No Y/N, I love you, like I want to be with you.” He tried explaining as a warm heat crept up his neck and cheeks.
Your heart did a few flips in your chest immediately sending a sweet smile to your lips. Steve loved you and if the past day had made you realize anything it's that you most certainly love him too.
You had been so excited you forgot to say the words back to him, you immediately pulled him into a gentle kiss. He is mindful of your injuries and ops to run his fingers through your hair instead of wrapping his arms around your waist like he wanted to.
You abruptly pulled away from the kiss, realizing you hadn't said it back to him yet.
“Oh! Shit! I love you too.” You exclaimed.
His forehead fell against yours in laughter, “After we get out of all this, I'd very much like to take you on that date you were mentioning earlier.”
“I'd like that too Steve.”
The endearing moment was interrupted when a jean jacket harshly hit Steve in the side of the head, causing him to look in the direction it came from.
“Modesty man.”

It's two part again. Happy thanksgiving!
Dang, moving is always such a hassle :') I wish things go well for you. *sends love*
It's been a while so I can't really give a detailed story, but to sum up, this is what I literally dreamt of. Y/N works as an Oiran in a busy district in Wano, and Ace once visited it when he was still in the Spade pirates. They had an intense night, and Ace could not forgot the sensation and basically fell in love at first sight. He saved up money to buy Y/N out (not really buying a slave but actually freeing Y/N from the place) However, when he came back for Y/N, he was told that they escaped and the place no longer know Y/N's location.
Ace was disappointed, but that was a story in the past, Ace is now part of the WB pirates. He was secretly still searching for Y/N, though. Then, he recognized a familiar face among one of the member in the nurse crew of WB pirates ship. It was Y/N. The man was over the moon, until he realized, he couldn't possibly come to her and start a conversation with "Have we met? I think I've had s3x with you before". It turned into a cute story between Ace who is now very awkward but is trying his best to start a conversation with the person of his dream. And Y/N who is obvious. Until Y/N finally recognized Ace, and started teasing/flirting him which end up with another heated night for the two of them.
It's a miracle how I can dream of Ace lol, but it was a third person view point dream so I couldn't enjoy much either. It's not the first time I have a weird dream though, for some reasons I keep dreaming of a strange blonde who I have established a romantic relationship with. Well that's way too off topic, I only want to share my ideas with you for fun. I do hope that you prioritize your personal stuff before starting to write again (even tho I miss your write, a lots :'))
Aight that's it for now. Have a great day, have a great thanksgiving week. Best wishes.
- two part
TWO PART ANON! I had a pretty boring Thanksgiving, our oven was broken so we weren't really able to do anything special, that's okay though. Plus I had covid. I'm... mostly better now, still have a cough, but I'm covid negative and raring to go once more! Here's, lol, PART 1!!! All the smut will be in part 2, I hope you enjoy it!
Part 2, Part 3
Warnings: mentions of previous sex, no actual sex yet though (that’s for part 2)
Word Count: 1680
It felt like it had been an eternity ago since he’d last seen you. In truth, it had only been a couple of years, but with how his heart yearned for you, it felt like longer. Ace hadn’t been one to believe in fairytales, no ‘happily ever after’, no ‘peasant becomes the prince/princess’, and no ‘love at first sight’. At least, not until he’d met you. A courtesan in Wano, no, an Oiran, on par with the greatest of them, with even the great Komurasaki. The first time he had laid eyes on you, he knew he needed to talk to you, the first time he heard your voice, he knew he needed to spend the night with you, and from the first night with you, knew that he needed you in his life. Not just for one night, but for all of them, forever. A passionate night, more passionate than any you had previously known, more loving and caring. One where he couldn’t stop every desire from pouring out of his mouth. His desires for you, to have you, to be with you; and the shocking part, the part that made his heart stop, that shook him to his core, was when you reciprocated it. When you told him you wanted him in your life too. You shared things you’d never told anybody else, told him your past, your desires, and your dreams, and he knew that he’d do anything to make sure you saw them realized. A promise, one to find enough treasure to ‘buy’ you. To pay your debt to the man who held your fate, to take you away from such a life. But he’d been too late, you couldn’t take it after that night with him.
Pretending that you enjoyed the company of other men, giggling at dumb jokes and ‘enjoying’ fine food and drink sitting next to men who weren’t Ace. It didn’t matter how rich or good looking they were, you only wanted Ace. So you ran away. In the dead of the night, you gathered all your most precious belongings, every cent you could carry, everything of worth, and disappeared into the night. When Ace had asked about you, stating that he wanted to pay your debt, to ‘buy’ you, the man had merely scoffed, saying that you had run and despite his best efforts, he hadn’t found you, that you still owed him so much money. Ace had paid your debt to the man, whether or not you were there. Should the man ever stumble across you again, you could still be free. Eventually, he’d learned that you’d escaped Wano, somehow managing to break the biggest law of the strange land and escaping to sea.
From that day, he searched for you. He never told anybody, never said a word, made it seem like he was simply living his life, but any time he was at an island, his eyes were searching the crowds for your familiar form. The man was certain he could never forget the shape of your body, the color of your hair, or your scent; not the scent of the perfume that you had been forced to wear as an oiran, but your natural scent lingering just beneath that. Every detail was carved into the backs of his eyelids, teasing him each time he closed his eyes with your beautiful smile. Your real smile. Not the one you had given him upon first being introduced to that night’s company, but the smile you gave him the next morning as you placed a soft kiss to his lips. Only a few people knew of his secret, of his love. Deuce, his first mate, his friend, his second-in-command. Whitebeard, his captain, his adopted father, the man who accepted him for him. And Izou, the Wano man had been by accident. He’d wanted to learn how to make your favorite so that if he ever found you, he could make it for you. Except the man wasn’t dumb, he noticed the concentration on Ace’s face as he worked to perfect the food, noticed the soft smile when Ace thought about when he’d first tried the food, saw the pain when asked about why it was so important. He’d confronted Ace about it, smiling as he listened to Ace’s tale about the beautiful oiran who’d stolen his heart. Izou kept an eye out for any Wanoan women after that, he never said anything, but as a favor to his friend, fellow commander, and brother-in-arms, he always kept an eye out as well.
Sighing, Ace leaned back in his chair, taking a large gulp from his mug. Pops was docked at another island to restock, giving his men shore leave once they were properly restocked, allowing his sons to enjoy themselves, whether it be in food, drink, or women. Women, ha! No woman would ever compare to you, to the beautiful tennyo who’d stolen his heart. He chuckled to himself at the thought, tennyo, so many things you’d taught him in his short time with you. He missed you so much right now, missed the strange terms of endearment you used for him, so strange to him, but never failed to make his heart skip a beat.
Ace’s brow furrowed as he took his feet off the table to sit up straight. His ears strained to catch the voice that had caught his attention just a moment ago. The accent, the lilt, it rang so familiarly in his head. Looking around, he only saw the familiar faces, tattoos, and clothing of the crew. His division knocking back drinks as they laughed, a few Whitebeard nurses dispersed amongst them. Still, his eyes scanned the crowd frantically, searching for the familiar face that filled his dreams. Finally, it landed on one of the nurses. Ace didn’t know all of the nurses that tended to Pops, the man’s deteriorating health requiring near constant care. Yet this one, he was certain, or almost certain.
Swallowing hard, he mentally shouted for the nurse to turn around fully, to give him a proper view of her, rather than just the small glances at her. Finally, she turned, looking to one of the other nurses, stopping Ace’s heart. Your hair was different and the layers of make-up were gone and the kimono replaced with a pink dress, but he was sure it was you. The young man almost shot up in his seat, wanting to run over to you and pull you close, to bury his head into the crook of your neck, hesitating when a thought hit him. Would you even recognize him? You might be forever engraved in his mind, but was he similarly engraved in yours? It had been a few years ago and it had only been a couple of nights together. Did he mean as much to you and you had meant to him? How would he even talk to you, how would he strike a conversation? ‘Hey, this sounds crazy, but I spent a passionate night with you a few years ago. Wanna go have dinner with me?’ No, absolutely not! He’d sound deranged! There was no way you’d recognize him after all this time. You’d been an oiran, he was probably just another paying man spending a night with you, getting too caught up in your act. To you, he must have just been an overly passionate man who was drawn into the fake little world you created for all your customers. Slouching into his chair, he stared at you in longing, he wanted so badly to go over to you, to pick you up and spin you around, to pull you into the most mind blowing kiss, but he couldn’t risk freaking you out.
You’d heard tales of the new second division commander, but had yet to find the time to go see him yourself. Whitebeard’s health took priority and the other nurses had come to rely on you a great deal, leaving you with little time to yourself. On top of your work as a nurse, you were kept busy with a million other things. The young man from years prior always lingered in your mind, his smile like the sun seared into your mind, as if forever branding your mind, heart, and soul as his. Freckles that dotted his cheeks like the stars in the sky, making you think of him every night when you stared up at the twinkling lights, he burned so brightly, as if he were made of sunshine and stardust. During the few daylight hours in which you weren’t caring for Whitebeard, your thoughts were taken up by this man. His voice and name still rang in your ears late at night when things were quiet and still. Ace. Portgas D. Ace. Still, you were on shore leave and the other nurses, as thanks for always taking their shifts, had given you the night off, you’d earned it. So you’d come here, hearing that the second division, and its commander, was here. So far, you’d yet to spot the young man who’d caused such a stir. Talking with one of the second division men, a flit of bright orange caught your eye. Turning, you noticed a familiar orange hat being pressed down on a lowered head before the owner stood up to head out of the bar.
“Who’s that?” You asked, pointing to the young man who’s back was turned to you. Despite the tattoo that covered a good portion of his back, you were almost certain you recognized his form. How could you forget that physique, the back that had sported the evidence of your night together in the form of long red scratches, the shoulders that you’d held so tightly, as if your life depended on it.
“Hm? Oh, right! You haven’t met the new division commander have you? That’s him, FireFist Ace! Kid’s crazy, but he’s strong.” the man you’d been talking to said with a grin, proud of his new commander. You smiled as you watched him leave, Ace, you’d finally found him.

PRIDE & PREJUDICE PROMPTS *  assorted dialogue from the 2005 film
you must know... surely, you must know it was all for you.
are you out of your senses?
we've been nonsensical!
i have struggled in vain and i can bear it no longer.
are you rejecting me?
did i just agree to dance?
makes it all so much more enjoyable, don't you think?
you really do love him, don't you?
i appreciate the struggle you have been through, and i am very sorry to have caused you pain.
you're wasting your time with me.
count your blessings.
don't look at me like that!
only the deepest love will persuade me into matrimony.
i'm very fond of walking.
no, i prefer to be unsociable and taciturn.
may i have the next dance?
these past few months have been a torment.
i wonder who first discovered the power of poetry in driving away love?
my brother gave it to me.
i have never been thus treated in my entire life.
do you talk, as a rule, while dancing?
so this is your opinion of me.
i had to see you.
it's been many years since i had such an exemplary vegetable.
oh, believe me, no one would suspect your manners to be rehearsed.
i've been so blind.
i've come to tell you the news.
oh, very well then.
i must ask you to leave immediately.
you have insulted me in every possible way.
not all of us can afford to be romantic.
i could not have parted with you to anyone less worthy.
i will never see you again if you do.
he looks miserable, poor soul.
yes. a thousand times yes.
i will not and certainly never shall.
i thought that poetry was the food of love.
you are too generous to trifle with me.
all of these things i am willing to put aside and ask you to end my agony.
there's a lot to be thankful for.
don't you dare judge me.
i don't understand.
thank you for explaining so fully.
now tell me once and for all: are you engaged to him?
if your feelings are still what they were last april, tell me so at once.
have you no objection other than your belief in my indifference?
believe me, it was unconsciously done.
what a shame, for i dearly love to laugh.
and those are the words of a gentleman.
my affections and wishes have not changed, but one word from you will silence me forever.
you have bewitched me, body and soul, and i love... i love... i love you.
i love you.
i cannot tease you about that.
forgive me for taking up so much of your time.
how are you this evening, dear?
is this your reply?
they are far too easy to judge.
i do not have the talent of conversing easily with people i have never met before.
i thought you hated the man.
will that make you happy?
we're doing our best to find a fault in you.
i never wish to be parted from you from this day on.
i wish you would not call me "my dear."
perhaps you should take your aunt's advice and practice?
what endearments am i allowed?
please, do be seated.
one of these days, someone will catch your eye and then you'll have to watch your tongue.
people do not die of colds.
i was wrong. i was entirely wrong.
are you too proud? and would you consider pride a fault or a virtue?
this is a charming house.
i am well acquainted with you.
please do me the honor of accepting my hand.
what do you recommend to encourage affection?
what should i call you when i am cross?
are you... are you laughing at me?
i can admire you much better from here.
shall i call for some tea?
i cannot believe that anyone can deserve you.
i love you. most ardently.
good day. it's been a pleasure.
i have no idea.
did you walk here?
let us take a turn about the room.
it is a small kind of accomplishment, i suppose.
will you not join us?
i've never seen so many pretty girls in my life.
she is the most beautiful creature i have ever beheld.
why do you ask such a question?
what have you discovered?
we are all fools in love.
i have other reasons. you know i have.
i do not deny it.

Leo has been the leader since day one
Alright, I haven't seen this conversation yet, but I can't be the only one who's noticed this. This isn't my usual post- not that I post often- but art is WIP.
~aannnnyyway~
Leo has been the (back seat) leader of the Mad Dogs since day one.
Mobile users, RIP no seriously, you are digging your own grave
In the first two episodes he shows his potential, he thinks ahead, guides the team, makes astute observations, shows his knowledge of his team (including himself), and makes his own plans (even if Raph has made a plan, he almost always has his own).
I'll go through the first two episodes chronologically.
First is Mystic Mayhem.
Tumblr media
-This is a good example of understanding himself-
Leo: So . . . You guys from Jersey?
Mikey: Really Leo?
Leo: What? I can't make a joke in the middle of the craziest thing ever? That's how I cope.
Tumblr media
-Leo stops his brothers and forces them to think ahead-
Mikey: Should we just ask him for it?
Leo: And what do we say when he asks us why we want it? That we need to go after our best friend, who disappeared into a wall after our priceless weapons were destroyed by mystical jogger guys?
Tumblr media
-Not only is Leo showing how well he knows his dad, he executes his own plan when Raph's first plan fails, without asking his brothers first-
Raph: How'd you get that?
Leo: You know he always passes out after milk and cake.
Tumblr media
-Now, this example is a debatable one, yes it shows his understanding of Raph, but it may also just be to shown to establish relationships in general since this was the first episode-
Donnie: A few hours ago I would have called this foolish and impossible. Now I just call it foolish.
Mikey: Say what you want Donnie. Raph'll pull is off 'cause if he doesn't, we'll loose our best friend forever.
Leo: Mikey, don't say that. You know he chokes under pressure.
Donnie: Leo, he's even more self-conscious when you talk about it.
Tumblr media
-Here, while happy to see April again, he keeps the team on the task that got them in the hidden city in the first place. It can be argued if this was on purpose or not; but it still showcases his natural ability to lead-
Donnie: According to my calculations, we are in a tertiary-metaverse.
April: Actually, I've been doing some exploring, and we're in a hidden city deep under New York!
Leo: So where's the dog thingy?
Tumblr media
-There are even subtle moments where Leo takes the lead; after Donnie takes out Draxum's robot with his tech, Leo is the only one talking to Draxum directly for the team. This is another debatable example, you could say Leo is just being the face man here, but I'd like to include it-
Draxum: Accidently impressive. With a little bit of training you can be formidable as I hoped.
Leo: Okay, well, great, and since you're surrendering. . .
Draxum: Baron Draxum does not surrender.
Leo: Okay, well, when he gets here we'll deal with him. . . oh, ho, ho, I see. You're doing that whole "sinister talking in the third person" thing.
Tumblr media
-Here, he is the only one to once again question Raph's decision, and present his own idea instead-
Raph: We just defeated a boss villain. We're heroes. We deserve a name like Mad Dogs.
Leo: Mad dogs? You don't think something like Mutant Ninja Turtle Teens or. . .I don't know. Maybe - we'll keep brain storming.
The very next episode has soooo many parallels to the movie.
Origami Tsunami.
The dialog is long on this one and, despite the humor, throughout this scene Leo guides his brothers to the best mission for their skill level.
Tumblr media
Mikey: Yo, Leo, we're gonna be heroes!
Leo: Okay, what's the plan? Solve the city's rat problem?
Splinter: Hey now. I am standing right here.
Raph: Pfft, no way. We're crime fighters!
Donnie: Okay, check this out. The Spine Breaking Bandit!
Raph: Yeah. Go big or go home!
Leo: Yeah, go home in a stretcher. What else you got?
Donnie: Hmm, well this one's kind of lame. Someone stole paper from a delivery truck.
Leo: Not on my watch! This is exactly the kind of junior level mischief we can put an end to.
Tumblr media
-Leo then hypes his brothers up for this mission-
Raph: Really? That'll make us heroes? But it's only paper.
Leo: It's only paper. I'm so sorry. Donnie, what did he say? Did he say it's only paper?
Donnie: Yup.
Leo: Did he say it's only paper?
Donnie: Yes, he did.
Leo: Okay! That's what they all say. You think the road to hero town is paved in real crime? No! It's paved with the tears of the poor paper man. And who helps that guy? I'll tell you who; we are who!
Raph, Mikey, and Donnie: Yes!
Tumblr media
-When Raph's first plan fails, and he sees how discouraged his brothers get...-
Donnie: Uh, quick question. Did we seriously get schooled by paper thieves?
Raph: I didn't swoop like a boss. I swoop like a noob.
Mikey: Man, this seemed like a really cool idea until we didn't succeed at it.
Tumblr media
-...so, Leo gives a "hero" speech, like he does in the movie. Although this motiving speech needs some help, he still tries-
Leo: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Where'd my brothers go? Mikey, where's your. . .legendary optimism? Raph, where's your, ya know, your go-getter attitude? And Donnie, where's your. . . your thing, your - emotionless passion?
Donnie: Here.
Leo: We can still catch these lame old paper crooks and be heroes!
Tumblr media
-In continuing this scene, we see the Leo make and execute his own plan, now that Raph's impulsive plan has failed-
Donnie: Yeah, that's gonna be hard. This was the last paper store in town.
Leo: Hmm. . . or was it?
Donnie: Yeah, I. . .I literally just said that.
Tumblr media
-Again he takes the lead talking to the foot clan first (could just be that he's a face man here, but nonetheless)-
Leo: Okay twerp. . . and surprisingly big man. It's four against two. So what you say we just call it a day, right?
Tumblr media
-Leo uses his observations to guide the team, here when the foot are making their origami soldiers, Leo realizes taking out the paper ninjas isn't a solution-
Leo: We're getting no where fighting these guys. We gotta take out the source.
Tumblr media
-After Raph ~properly~ uses his ninpo for the first time, Leo again uses his surroundings to find a solution, in doing so he shows both guiding his team, and astute observations-
Leo: Hm. Mikey, the sprinklers!
-Even at the end of the second episode, they look to Leo for reassurance and support-
Mikey: So. . .does this count as a win?
Leo: Well, I don't know. Let's think about it. Did the bad guys get their big supply of paper? Uh, no. Did they build their army of soilders? No. No they didn't. Are they otherwise Thwarted, and we unscathed?
Raph, Donnie, and Mikey: Yes!
Leo: Hero mission accomplished, my friends!
Alright.
First off, if you've made it this far, thanks for attending my not even close to life changing ted talk. I hope you have enjoyed my rant.
In conclusion,
Leo has the potential to lead, just prefers to do as little work as possible. He almost always passes resonsibility onto someone else, however when he has no other choice but to lead he does it well without realizing it. There are many other subtle examples sprinkled throughout season 1 and 2.
I have more thoughts on this, but this post is already the height of the empire state building.
Class Dismissed.

do a story about (y/n) who is the sister of Nanami from Kamisama Hajimemashita. (y/n) is the one who becomes a human god instead of Nanami and they both fo live at the shrine. Tomoe finds (y/n)'s strong will to become as good of a human god as possible endearing and possibly cute. Tomoe slowly falls in love with (y/n) and vows to her that he'll forever protect her and stay by her side, no matter what happens.
Tumblr media
Bound by Love
The Mikage Shrine stood in serene solitude, its grounds bathed in the soft hues of twilight. As (Y/N) sat alone in the shrine's peaceful garden, she couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. It was moments like these when she found solace in the tranquil beauty of her surroundings.
Unexpectedly, the quietude was broken by the arrival of Tomoe, the familiar fox spirit who served the shrine. He had a reputation for his gruff exterior and sharp remarks, but there was something about him that (Y/N) found intriguing.
"(Y/N), what are you doing out here all alone?" Tomoe grumbled, his crimson eyes sweeping the garden as if searching for potential dangers.
With a soft smile, she patted the space beside her. "Just enjoying the serenity of the shrine, Tomoe. It's a rare moment of peace."
Reluctantly, Tomoe took a seat beside her, his posture still tense. "Nanami is quite fortunate to have such a dedicated sister," he remarked, his voice softened.
(Y/N) felt her cheeks flush at the unexpected compliment. "Thank you, Tomoe. That means a lot."
As the two sat side by side, they found themselves drawn into an easy conversation. Tomoe shared tales of his centuries of service at the shrine, revealing a side of himself that was rarely seen—a fox spirit with a wealth of experiences and wisdom.
Over time, (Y/N) and Tomoe's interactions became a daily routine. Whether it was tending to the garden, preparing offerings, or exchanging playful banter, their bond deepened. Tomoe's gruffness only seemed to add to his charm in (Y/N)'s eyes.
One crisp evening, as they stood together in the shrine's courtyard, (Y/N) looked up at the starry sky. "Tomoe, do you ever wonder about the future? About what might happen to the shrine, to Nanami, and to us?"
Tomoe turned his gaze toward her, his crimson eyes filled with a flicker of curiosity. "I try not to dwell on such matters, (Y/N). Life is unpredictable, especially in our world."
She nodded in agreement, her gaze fixed on a distant star. "I want to be the best human god I can be, for Nanami's sake and for the shrine's sake. I want to protect them both, just like you do."
Tomoe watched her with a newfound warmth in his eyes. "(Y/N), I promise you this: no matter what challenges we face, no matter what dangers lurk in the shadows, I will be by your side, protecting you and the shrine. You have my word."
Her heart skipped a beat, and she turned to him, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thank you, Tomoe. I know I can always count on you."
As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Tomoe and (Y/N)'s bond continued to grow. Tomoe's feelings for her deepened, and he couldn't deny that he had fallen in love with the human girl who had become such an integral part of his life.
One evening, beneath the starlit sky that held countless secrets and stories, Tomoe couldn't contain his emotions any longer. He took (Y/N)'s hand in his, and his crimson eyes bore into hers.
"(Y/N)," he began, his voice uncharacteristically gentle, "there's something I need to tell you. I've come to realize that my feelings for you go beyond friendship or duty. I... I love you, (Y/N)."
(Y/N)'s heart soared at his confession, and she felt a warmth enveloping her. Her cheeks flushed as she whispered in response, "Tomoe, I love you too."
In that magical moment, beneath the starry heavens and within the sacred grounds of the Mikage Shrine, Tomoe and (Y/N) sealed their love with a kiss. It was a kiss filled with promises of a future together, of unwavering devotion, and of a love that had blossomed amidst the tranquility of a shrine but was destined to flourish in the world beyond.
Their love story, born in the quietude of the shrine, had become a beautiful and enduring romance—one that held all the warmth and enchantment of the serene Mikage Shrine itself. And in each other's arms, they found the true meaning of love and happiness.
As days turned into weeks, Tomoe and (Y/N)'s love continued to blossom, unhindered by the challenges and adventures that lay ahead. While they cherished their time at the Mikage Shrine, they couldn't ignore the pull of the world beyond.
One sunny morning, (Y/N) approached Tomoe with a glint of excitement in her eyes. "Tomoe, how would you like to accompany me on a journey beyond the shrine? I've always dreamt of exploring the world and helping those in need."
Tomoe raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her proposal. "And what would be the purpose of this journey, (Y/N)?"
She smiled, her determination shining through. "To spread kindness, love, and goodwill, just as we do at the shrine. I believe there are countless people out there who could use our help."
Tomoe couldn't deny the sincerity in her words, and after a moment of consideration, he nodded. "Very well, (Y/N). I shall accompany you on your journey, and we will face whatever challenges lie ahead together."
Their travels took them to bustling towns and remote villages, where they encountered people from all walks of life. (Y/N)'s innate compassion and Tomoe's protective instincts made them a formidable team. They healed the sick, aided the needy, and brought hope to those who had lost it.
During their journey, Tomoe found himself falling in love with (Y/N) all over again. He admired her unwavering dedication to helping others, her boundless kindness, and her radiant smile that could brighten even the darkest of days.
One evening, as they sat by a campfire beneath a star-studded sky, Tomoe couldn't contain his feelings any longer. He turned to (Y/N), his eyes filled with affection. "You know, (Y/N), I've come to realize that I love you more with each passing day. Your kindness, your strength, and your heart inspire me."
(Y/N)'s cheeks flushed, and she smiled warmly at him. "Tomoe, I feel the same way. I love you more than words can express."
In the soft glow of the campfire, they sealed their love with a tender kiss, reaffirming their commitment to each other and to the world they had set out to make a better place.
Their journey continued for many years, filled with adventures, challenges, and unforgettable moments. Together, they made the world a better place, leaving a trail of kindness and hope wherever they went.
But as time passed, (Y/N) couldn't help but notice a subtle change in Tomoe. He had become more open, more expressive of his feelings, and more willing to embrace the joys of life beyond their duties at the shrine.
One crisp autumn day, as they walked hand in hand through a golden forest, (Y/N) couldn't contain her curiosity any longer. "Tomoe, you've changed so much since we started this journey. You've become more... human."
Tomoe chuckled softly, his eyes filled with a warmth that mirrored the autumn hues around them. "I suppose I have, (Y/N). Being with you has shown me the beauty of the human experience—the capacity to love, to hope, and to cherish every moment."
(Y/N) smiled, her heart swelling with affection. "And I've loved every moment we've spent together, Tomoe."
They continued their walk, the fallen leaves crunching beneath their feet. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the world in a gentle twilight, Tomoe stopped and turned to (Y/N).
"(Y/N), there's something I've wanted to ask you for a long time," he began, his voice filled with a vulnerability he had rarely shown before.
(Y/N) looked at him, her eyes curious. "What is it, Tomoe?"
He took a deep breath, his crimson eyes locked onto hers. "Will you marry me, (Y/N)? Will you become my partner for all eternity?"
Tears welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as she nodded, her heart overflowing with joy. "Yes, Tomoe, a thousand times yes."
In that magical twilight, amidst the rustling leaves and the soft glow of the setting sun, Tomoe and (Y/N) embraced, sealing their love and their promise to spend eternity together.
Their love story, which had begun in the quietude of the Mikage Shrine, had taken them on a journey beyond its sacred grounds—a journey filled with love, kindness, and adventure. And as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives, they knew that their love was a bond that could withstand any challenge, endure any hardship, and shine as brightly as the sun setting over a world they had helped make better.
