That's alright, let's find something else. I know! Have you considered the lore of Salazar Slytherin and Godric Gryffindor from the perspective of forbidden lovers? Not at all... Well I bet you could be now! But, I get it, you want something a bit more exciting. In that case, there's always exploring Grindelwald's life, love, and rise to power!

Guidelines
▪ This is a 16+ festival, where only 18+ participants are allowed to post sexually explicit material. Anyone who lies about their age are subject to being banned from future festivals.
▪ Promotion of homophobia, transphobia, ableism, racism, sexism, anti-semitism, fatphobia, other anti-LGBTQIA+ rheteric, etc is NOT allowed. Keep in mind and be careful of condeming any characters because of gender, race, sex, orientation, culture, disability, weight, etc.
▪ Anyone can prompt or claim for this fest; you do not have to do one to do the other.
▪ Self Prompting will be allowed when the claiming time comes.
▪ This is an anonymous festival. Therefore, talk of claimed prompts isn't encouraged in public.
▪ All fanworks should focus on a "villainous" character from the Harry Potter series.
Characters should be one of the following to constitute as a villain:
- An antagonist of the protagonists in the main series or in a spin-off. This includes but isn't limited to Voldemort, his Death Eaters, Grindelwald, his Acolytes, etc.
- Be part of Wizarding history and have a legacy for being evil in someway. This includes but isn't limited to Herpo the Foul, Morgan(a) Le Fay, Salazar Slytherin, the Bloody Baron, etc.
Yes, this does mean that certain morally dubious characters such as Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape, and Regulus Black count as villains for the sake of this festival. For the sake of simplicity, however, Albus Dumbledore does not count as a villain, regardless of his many messy and shitty actions within the main series and spin-off, Fantastic Beasts. However, characters who don't count as a villain under these parameters can still be prevalent in your fanwork. In fact, they can even be the second half of the main ship, but the main character who does count as a villain should be the focus of any story or art.
• Author Expectations - Fanfictions should have a minimum of 2,000 words. Authors must have an archive of our own account to add their fic to the collection. Additionally, fics should be new and unique to the fest. No add ons to previously posted works in progress are allowed. Sequels and prequels may be allowed so long as they can be read without needing to have read the previous part(s) of the story. Fanfictions should be tagged and warned for accordingly. "Author chose not to use Archive Warnings" is not an acceptable warning. Fics should not be posted elsewhere (ie on Tumblr, Twitter, etc) until after reveals. Fanfictions should be edited for SPaG to the best of the author's abilities. If you're in need of a beta, you may join our discord and ask for help!
• Artwork at any stage that the artist is happy sharing it in is acceptable. Artists must either have an archive of our own account to add their art to the collection or reach out to the fest host so they can possibly send their art to the author of their prompt, in order to post the art along with the fic. Additionally, all art should be new and unique to the fest. Art should also not be posted elsewhere (ie on Tumblr, Twitter, etc) until after reveals.

See young transmasc Harry has such juicy angst opportunities both with the Dursleys (who would fucking hate the idea of Harry 'trying to be just like James') and with Snape (that's a whole big mess with Snapes weird Lily obsession) and the wizarding world as a whole (everyone would know of the girl who lived, it would probably mean endless misgendering). I am such a sucker for angst potential at the moment.
I mean he would be yoinked at an age that he would definitely be dealing with the aftermath of the Dursleys but I’m absolutely screaming at the idea of an 11 year old Harry/Hadrian sitting there while they call his dead name over and over and just refusing to give in.
That’s not him anymore.
He knows that’s not him.
He doesn’t have to answer to that name anymore.
He won’t.
And when someone eventually turns to the only black haired green eyed child with a lightning bolt scar he glares them down with full confidence and proudly states his name.
He’s not their girl who lived.

a canon-compliant snupin from the hogwarts-era period through to first war. fantastic severus characterization, what a gorgeously bittersweet romance. an absolute masterclass in first-person POV, made me feel so many feelings.

Trans Draco Malfoy but with a deadly twist ...
Ok so this fic has been haunting my daydreams for a couple weeks now and I just HAVE to put it here!
Transmasc Draco Malfoy headcanon:
Narcissa Malfoy had a really hard time bringing a healthy child to term. Lucius Malfoy, her husband of arranged marriage, has killed previous wives for not producing an heir. When Narcissa is finally able to carry a child to term, she is devastated to learn that her child has been Assigned Female at Birth.
So she and the doctor come up with a plan:
She will raise Draco as a boy, she will support Draco in secret, and the doctor will help her.
It's easier than she would have thought - Lucius is not the type to change diapers on his own, and sees Narcissa's care of Draco as a weird post-partum thing. Of course, as Draco gets older, Narcissa knows she has to enlist her son in the deception.
Draco learns from a very young age that he has to present as masculine as possible at all times - but he also learns that he can fall apart with his mother behind closed doors. She teaches him Legilimancy and Occlumency as young as possible, so that they have a way of communicating safely.
Being raised this way, Draco associates his masculinity with prison and his femininity with death. He prefers not to think too deeply beyond survival. He doesn't feel comfortable dating, and after a few months of falling hard for Pansy Parkinson, he cuts that off for fear of things getting physical. He and his mother don't know how they will keep up the ruse when it's time for Draco to get married, but they keep putting it off.
When the war starts, she knows that things will be even more difficult: So she enlists Snape to protect him, which eventually means she needs to tell Snape about their secret. Narcissa cannot bring herself to murder Lucius, because she k nows if she did she couldn't guarantee her continued safety.
After the Battle for Hogwarts, Draco is taken to Azkaban and the intake guards are shocked to discover his secret. The story breaks as the scandal that it is, and considering the levels of lifelong coersion and danger Draco lived under, he is let off. It is at this point that Draco finally allows themself to think in terms outside of he/him, of being the Malfoy Heir.
When Draco receives their letter inviting them to 8th Year, they are welcomed as Ms. Malfoy. Draco is placed in a room with the 8th Year girls, and though they insist that they are Not A Girl, they agree it's probably safer than being housed with the Gryffindor boys. They don't feel the need to correct people's pronouns, because pronouns have never felt right. Being called "she" is just a new wrong.
Eventually, slowly, Draco and Hermione form a formidable friendship. Harry is fascinated with Draco, who blushes under scrutiny and - dare I say - positive attention from Potter.
Eventually, and after much soul searching (and possibly many years), Draco cautiously asks people to use they/them pronouns for them. Draco learns that masculinity doesn't have to mean power over others, and they learn that femininity is not a liability. They will never feel like a woman, but they learn to love their body. They will never feel like a man, but they learn to love themselves.
They remain incredibly close to Narcissa, who supports whatever gender decision they choose to make now that Lucius is rotting in Azkaban. They support Draco's experiments with fashion, willing to teach them her own feminine secrets.
ANYWAY - I kind of want to write this but I am embroiled in other WIPs at the moment but I just HAD to express this.
