This original mixed media painting will be up for grabs during Bad Apple's July auction, scheduled from 28th JUL at 23:00 to 31st JUL at 23:00 UTC+02
Come, let's celebrate the Fool's Journey in the most whimsical way possible! See you at the auction!
ROBIN HOBB’S REALM OF THE ELDERLINGS

You know who I am. I have even given you my true name. As for what I am, you know that, too. You seek a false comfort when you demand that I define myself for you with words. Words do not contain or define any person. A heart can, if it is willing. But I fear yours is not. You know more of the whole of me than any person who breathes, yet you persist in insisting that all of that cannot be me. What would you have me cut off and leave behind? And why must I truncate myself in order to please you? I would never ask that of you.
Edit: Sorry guys I forgot Andrew Garfield played Spider-Man! (I have never watched a superhero movie ever.) It was in fact a grave mistake on my part to not have his picture. So, updated poll with the iconic Jewish bisexual Spider-Man!
short analysis of the tragedy of fang runin because she’s scratching at the walls of my brain like usual.
fang runin is probably the most tragic character i’ve ever read about. she left tikany to escape drugs, poverty and abuse, and then had to suffer tremendously by those factors again and again. she fought whole-heartedly to build a world free from corruption and oppression, even if her methods were… less than ethical on some occasions. hell, she refused to even sit on the throne because she deemed that there’s where her corrupt predecessors sat. that’s how badly she wanted to separate herself from the evil of nikara.
rin so desperately wanted to give her people the childhood and life she and the people she loved never got. and then only for her at the very end to realise that war and oppression won’t end and that her country could never be free. her country is broken beyond repair, and the only way for nikara to survive is for colonialism to put it the broken scraps together, the one thing rin fought all her life to defeat.
