Hi there! So this last week has been chaotic but great! I’m currently planning these next few weeks until classes start for me, and I’m looking forward to just relaxing. I’ve spent today just reading (not this book that I have pictured, this is just a quote I saved a while ago and figured I could share) as well as some embroidery. I’ve finally finished this piece of marron cream I’ve been working on for some time now, but I’m so happy with it. To be honest, it’s not that well made, I didn’t bother trying to learn to properly embroider, but I still enjoyed the process and I think it’s cute! However, I think I’m going to stick to crochet (*ﾉωﾉ)

I haven’t been doing well physically today so I’ve just been drawing and journaling and decided to start a digital anime journal! I do love making spreads physically but when I can’t print things out, I think having this will be a great alternative!

My first spread is about A Sign of Affection which I just finished watching the episodes out with my mom last night! She even wants to read the manga now too which makes me happy haha. I’m currently on volume 4 of the manga and I’m in love with it! The story, the art style, the characters, everything!

so this week i’ve been on vacation and it’s been the best. i’ve just been able to relax and get a lot of reading and studying done without stressing about a routine. to be able to just do things whenever i feel is a dream. also being up in a cabin has only made my desire to escape to the woods to just read and live off the land only greater.

hi there!

this last week i’ve been working with my dad to study arabic so that when we visit my grandpa in a month we can surprise him with at least a little bit that we’ve learned. it’s definitely the hardest language i’ve attempted to learn so far, although i can’t say i’ve completely learned many languages to compare it to lol.

i also found this pretty copy of alice in wonderland at my goodwill and am very excited to add to my bookshelf :)

its been a while but i’m getting back on track again with my language studies. i’ve been having a hard time trying to figure out which languages i want to dedicate my time to since there’s so many, but i’ve finally decided on japanese and korean, i even have made a weekly study schedule! i’m excited to continue my language studies while i still have some time off of school. i do have to say though, i am very excited to get back into school after a year of struggling to get my life in order, but i think i’m starting to get the hang of it!

hi there!

last night i got absolutely no sleep so i was able to get done the 2 japanese lessons i planned for the day at around 4 a.m. and now ,with somehow more energy, i decided to dip back into studying arabic. i know i’ve already planned japanese and korean study days, but with my grandpa moving back into town i had the urge to get down some arabic so i could talk to him. not only that but the language is just so pretty of course i couldn’t stay away.

i’ve been working on a habit to read for at least 30 minutes everyday to feel some accomplishment, and although it’s been hard i’ve still been able to stick to it! it’s given me motivation to do so much more and i haven’t spiraled :)

so today started off not so great waking up to a panic attack, but i finally feel like i’m better equipped to handle it and i was able to break out of that spiral! today i did a Japanese review since i’m falling way behind on the basics and i’m aiming to finish Annihlation today! things are slowly but surely getting better :) on another note, i’ve been getting interested in pen pals and how that works. i think i would like to try it no matter how shy i am.

hi there!

today, after picking this journal up from walmart for $4 (an amazing deal) i decided to start journaling. i already journal to some extent for therapy, but i wanted to try making something more positive as well as a place to kind of put all my thoughts on different things like books, games, and anime. i not sure how nice it will all look since i’m not typically good at journaling but i will see :) i also finally started to read the manga, nausicaä of the valley of the wind, after have been sitting on my shelf for months. i loved the movie so reading even more of what the story has to offer will be fun!

so after some major clean out this last few weeks i’m back on my game and working on making this free time better than ever! i wrote some letters for my friends (which love to do, would recommend) and also have started to set up my own notion page! i’ve seen it all over tik tok and youtube it was finally time to make one. though it isn’t as thorough or aesthetic as others i love it so far!
