So, quick disclaimer, I know next to nothing about Enhypen besides their music. I'm getting into them more beyond that, of course, but I'm still trying to learn who's who and trying to feel them out as people. So, this is definitely going to be unbiased, even if my other readings were as well. Hasta & The Final Girl Trope In Horror Films: A (Mini) Analysis

Here on this post, I wanted to make a short analysis on how I think Hasta connects to the The Final Girl Trope.

☆ Please note that the Final Girl Trope actually has evolved. The trope characters are not what it used to be, I will be going back to the original origins of this trope.

☆ In addition to the Hasta Nakshatra, I found that many of the women playing have Mula, Revati and Mrigashira as well. My research today only focuses on Hasta but please note it is not limited to this Nakshatra only.

☆ Many of these references that are used are personal opinions and theories. If you do not agree or have a different opinion I would love to hear it! But please be respectful in doing so.

The Final Girl Trope

The Trope Itself

Before diving deeper into the hasta Nakshatra, let’s look at the ‘Final Girl’ trope description.

The final girl in movies is usually the last person standing or is the only woman that can make exit in the movie. They are usually described as being the virgin or sexually unavailable, refraining from sexual activities, as well as alcohol and drugs. Additionally, many of the Final girls portrayed had Brunette her instead of Blonde (blonde characters - specifically women, were perceived as highly promiscuous). If not all the time, most of the final girls are known to be more intelligent or at least carry smarter decision-making. They are the first ones to sense that something is ‘off.’ As mentioned before, Hasta’s sign of Virgo, is ruled by Mercury (Mercury exalts in Virgo). Mercury rules human intellect, as it is a combination of the sun (the soul) and the moon (mind).

If we look at even the basics, the sign of Virgo is ‘The Virgin.’ Virgin women are often stereotypically described along the lines of being pure, innocent, chaste, and so forth.

Additionally, the women have an androgynous appearance - with their names and clothing sometimes being unisex. Claire Nakti in her Hasta Nakshatra video discussed how they manifest their traits through purity and by detaching from male influence. Claire also talks about how “Hasta women like to prove their worth without needing men, as well as female power separated from female appearance/sexuality” (this can be depicted in numerous ways such as their work, appearance and so forth). Hasta picks up all external influences, analyzes them, and discriminates based on their observations. Hasta picks out men and realizes only the divinity is deserving of her.

It’s hard to exactly state if The Final Girl trope exudes the real meaning of feminism, or at least women standing up for themselves against evil. However, I wonder if Hasta’s appearance in these films unconsciously aims to reject the typical views that some males hold of women (i.e. unintelligence), and how his perception of the Final Girl often ends up with the evil male lead having to disappear to avoid being killed or eventually is killed. Claire Nakti also mentioned how many Hasta women are involved in using books or poems to criticize male behaviour, male sexuality the struggles of women opening up, and the promotion of female independence regarding intellect. The Final Girl in the film must use her wit to decipher the situation and defeat the Killer through the use of her hands.

If we decipher Carol J Clover’s book on the Final Girl trope, she does mention how the victims in Slasher films are mostly viewed as women, whereas the evil characters are males. Often these Final Girls are initially stereotyped for the male gaze at the beginning of the film, but eventually, the viewer roots for the final girl to defeat the monster. The woman becomes ‘masculinized’ when she is forced to defeat the monster by utilizing a weapon.

Carol further emphasizes this action while discussing how the killing of the monster/killer can be related to ‘castrating’ the male, which in return eliminates the ‘threat’ to the uterine. The body part that represents Hasta’s is the palm of their hand. The Hasta Nakshatra is known for manifesting outcomes with their hands. In Komilla’s Sutton book, she describes how Hasta can be related to elephants, as they use their trunk as an extra hand to complete their task. I thought this was interesting considering the quote ‘to hold something/someone in the palm of your hand,’ pretty much means you the influence or control of something/someone. The symbolism of the hand of course can be also correlated to their Deity, Savitar - The Sun God. Savitar was known to be skillful with his hands.

In all, I do think Hasta has some correlation with the Final Girl Trope, whether it would be in films or tv shows. I do think there are many of factors (my own personal ones) and others that are discussed in Clover's book. It wasnt that long, but I hope you guys enjoyed reading it! 🧤Pluto energy x Lilith energy get along so well! Their vibes and self expressions are similar and they understand each other to a T, especially if it’s in the same aspect.

For example, someone with sun conjunct lilith may get along with sun conjunct pluto.

My favourite dynamic has got to be pluto 1h x lilith 1h tho. Just cat and dog energy. Don’t ask me who’s who🤷‍♀️.

🧤Mercury signs really affect self expression, even more than sun sign. If you have a Taurus sun, you may give off more Aries traits, because your Mercury is in Aries.

🤓 You might think having Sun in the 6th house in a woman’s chart indicates that your partner will cook for you, but no. They will cook for everyone, BUT you. Might be the main cook for friends’ gatherings or at a barbecue. However, this also indicates that he will take you out to a restaurant or often order takeout.

🤓 Cancer Sun, Venus or Mars love language is NOT gift giving. At least, it’s not the main one.

Astro observations pt.15 (very short tho 🥺)

Some astro observations based on a real life person (with whom i have a really fucked up 8H synastry)

These are his natal chart placements (coz why not 🫠)

💞 Mars square Neptune: major player energy. This placement is notorious for being a "wandering eye" and gets called out for this trait.(All the more he has 8H mars 😭😭). But its true tho (unless they're very much emotionally developed)

💞Mars square Saturn: he really rebelled with his actions against the school authorities. He never obeyed any rules and acted as if none of the punishments he got had any effect on him. Challenging attitude towards elders and authoritative figures.

💞Mars sextile Uranus: these people have really swift moves. I would really recommend dancing as a hobby! Speed and fast walking person actually.

💞Moon trine Venus 🤝 cannot really live without being in a relationship. He is known for being a big flirt 😂.

💞Mars in Taurus in 8H: sounds cliche tho, but this guy was reallyyyyyy possessive and jealous. I had a male bestie and when this guy knew about it...he harmed my him like physically, and bullying him etc. 🤦🏻‍♀️

∆Ok..moving on to others: (enough of that guy) 😂

💞 Leo and Libra in a chart makes a person not interested in love and relationships. My bff(Leo sun Libra moon)and my mom(Libra sun, Leo moon)both have vice versa placements. They actually think they're too good for someone (and that's true 😂)

💞 Why do Air moons need to have a music on while doing their assignment or work? ( My Virgo sun disagrees 😭😂)

🪴 Having your asteroid Juno conjunct other person's planets in the 1st house in synastry chart indicates that you see them as a marriage material and you want to be in a relationship with them.

🪴 Having asteroid Varuna conjunct the sign of your MC (Midheaven) mean that you could get well known in that field/workplace.

[Example: Varuna conjunct Taurus MC, Taurus deals with food related things, you could be well known for working in a restaurant, a chef, a waiter etc.]

🪴 Just a theory, the sign your asteroid Varuna sits in your natal chart can tell the people around you that might/already be famous.

🪴 I've seen people with default Lilith in 2H in Virgo/Gemini can make someone struggle with their self worth a lot to the point where they would hide themselves in their home & never wanting to come out; since Virgo is ruled by Mercury & it's related to thinking process, in their mind they would judge themselves quite harshly. It's even worse if they have their Lilith in Virgo/Gemini degrees. (I hope ppl with this placement are doing okay ❤️)

Simon Riley’s Natal Chart

i've really been thinking about what simon's natal chart would look like. (it's important to mark and immediately inform you that i don't know his date of birth. so what follows is purely my suggestion)

so after studying his life history, behavior in the game, manner of speech and other things, i came up with something like this

the sun: scorpio (i think he is november scorpio)

a strong personality. variability, emotions are not stable. ability to fight for a long time. passionate pursuit of life. can be strongly attached to people, and over too passionately express their love, because of which can scare people away. can not always control their impulses and emotions. extremely emotionally tolerate a change in attitude to themselves.

Both Minho and Han are already protective of their loved ones, especially their partners, judging by their personalities alone. But if you watch videos of them interacting (not only on stage or skz codes, everywhere) you can see how fierce they are about each other. I mean, let's not forget Minho is a fucking Scorpio and Han a Virgo. That's the epitome of intensity.

They never do things halfway. It's ride or die with them.

And so it's only natural for them to be protective of her, but if she's younger than them, those traits are intensified. Male Koreans already have the instinct of looking after females, even more the younger ones, so yeah. Hope she's blessed with loads of patience because these men are going to be exhausting.

If the Reader is younger, this would push Han out of his soft, childish persona to be this more mature, "manly" version of himself (but he's still funny and loud). They'll both want to provide for her in every way, take care of her and overall just treat her like the ground she steps on is made of gold.

The concept of "personal space" is foreign to them. Like, she shouldn't even try to explain it, they don't get it. Why would they prefer to be separated from the person they love? It doesn't sound right in their ears. They're never more than two steps away from her if they can help it. Their jobs keep them busy enough, so when the three of them are all together, they want to enjoy every second. They're glued to her skin. If they go out, they have to be touching her in some way every five minutes as reassurance or else they'll be moody. If she needs to get something from a high place, they'll reach for her, keeping a steady hand on her waist while their chests brush against her back. If she needs to go to the bathroom, one or both are waiting outside the door "just in case". Hell, if she has to go and shower, they'll storm in and sit besides the bathtub to speak to her like it's a normal thing.

Minho is the type to spoil her but without explicitly showing it. For example, if he hears she wants something, he waits until she's not looking and takes it. She refuses to answer why, but the red tip of his ears tell everything. Jisung is the attention-seeking one. He asserts his protectiveness of her by physical contact. Hugging her from behind, his strong arms surrounding her, chin on her shoulder and ocasionally kissing her exposed skin.

If someone bothers her or steps out of the line, well, good luck to that person, because have you seen these two's arms? Yeah, they can and WILL beat up a bitch for their partner if they have to. Also, they're very good at verbal attacks and Minho is perfectly capable of shaming someone's entire family line with a smile and not a finger lifted.

They've make her call them "oppa" more times than she wishes to admit. It gets them going...in plenty of ways. If she wants something, she only has to call them "oppa" and they're at her feet.

The types to give her their clothes to mark territory. They've replaced some of her clothing for theirs in the house so she has no option but wear those. If she's cold, she has Minho's jacket on her shoulder and Jisung's covering her legs. If someone is shooting their shot with her, the next day she's suddenly wearing an oversized shirt that doesn't belong to her with a pair of shorts that look longer than they should (and a few hickeys underneath to add spice)

They both love to baby her and take full advantage of the age difference.r. She's so cute and soft in their eyes. If they could, they'll put her inside their pockets and carry her around like that everywhere.

During her period, they're even more attentive. Minho cooks for her everyday and slaps her hand aways she tries to help, then Jisung snoops her in his arms and lays her down in the couch, saying she should be resting, that they'll take care of everything for her. Same if she's sick. At least one stays with her all times to check on her needs, regardless of the risk of getting sick too.

She never walks right next to the road. If they see her inching near it, they move her away fast. When one is driving and she's sitting as a copilot, they'll place a hand before her when they do slightly brute movements with the car.

Overall, Minsung would be extremely protective of Reader if she was younger than them, to the point they may seem to treat her like a child and a fragile thing. But they're hot about it, so I'm sure she can accept it.

if there should be a fix to any negative trait, it would be through working from within. passive-aggressiveness in a libra mars, alongside with other mars signs such as gemini, leo, pisces, scropio, and virgo mars, is a common trait, but they all share one root "cause." let me explain some to you:

you fear confrontation: in your case where the mars is in libra, libra in general does not confront or prefer negative attention. libra is a fairly timid sign who avoids confrontation at all costs. as a result, the only way of displaying anger is through indirect/passive-aggressive remarks and insults that don't exactly get you into trouble, but still get your point across. confrontation is feared because imbalance is therefore inevitable. for other mars signs, confrontation is feared or avoided for reasons such as ego, self-esteem, insecurity, etc... to "fix" it, you must recognize that not all conflict or confrontation is bad and that, actually, you cannot have the good without the bad. as someone who values balance so much (libra), it's quite hypocritical you avoid one side of the scale just to have the other. also, another observation of why this placement avoids confrontation is because libra is a major people pleaser and will often sacrifice their own happiness just to uphold external validation.

you're insecure: being passive-aggressive can stem from insecurity, especially in relationships where libra is often in an insecure placement. i may be pushing in my observation here but actually, i notice that in men (and women) a critical libra mars has a self-esteem that is low and highly malleable, meaning this placement will often make "jokes" about other people/themselves.

Eventually as their addictions escalated, so did their need to make money and thus they began selling Blythe out. Prostituting her from the ages of 13-17. They earned 5k per client and often kept her out for 10+ clients everyday. Though their lifestyle went front trailer parks to gated neighborhoods, the abuse never stopped and Blythe was never treated like a person let alone daughter. Through out her entire life, Blythe felt as though something or someone was watching her. God ? She thought. Often escaping death through insane unexplainable coincidences. Failed suicide after failed suicide and yet never truly feeling alone. It was when she turned 18 that her suspicions were confirmed and an angel by the name of Freya, exposed her existence to her. The angel spoke of an innate need to protect her, a confession of love, sincerity. Blythe felt like she already knew her, the angel’s presence comforting alone. Immediately Blythe knew she wanted to run away with this being and they did but found it very difficult to escape the wrath of God himself. Without much thought, Blythe had heard rumors of an old well and a well dressed man. Upon inquiring the old well, she met a hand of Satan who led her to meet him face to face due to her special circumstances. In order to protect them from the eyes of God, Satan offered her and Freya two necklaces powerful to shield them , but Blythe would have to sacrifice her humanity over to him and in exchange she would become the very thing that tormented her. Sin Incarnate. Turned into an insatiable Succubus she was now forced to be Lucifer’s very own eyes on earth. Yet, she finds herself compromised when tasked with the mission of reporting back about Alistar, Satan’s most rebellious son. While she reports what she is allotted, she can not report it all. Her and Alistar at a stand still. He won’t get them exposed to God, She won’t expose him to Satan. They work in balance but secretly despise each other.

Years of work as an assassin and mercenary have made Luis hyper-vigilant, often to the point of paranoia. In a line of work where one mistake could mean your life, he had no choice but to be the best of the best, he’d often berated himself and hyperfocused on small mistakes. This trait has stuck with him to the current day, he’ll beat himself up over simple things that don’t really matter. Saying the wrong thing, accidentally bumping into someone, or even letting his guard down in places where it's completely safe feels like a complete social blunder to him, something that could ruin his reputation or get him into nonexistent trouble.

His mercenary years have also skewed his perception of strangers. Luis Vasquez was born in Vista Del Rey to an ex-nomad mother and a Valentino father who died just a few months before his birth. He and his mother had a close and loving relationship despite her working multiple jobs to support them. He spent most of his nights as a child at his mother's second job at the El Coyote Cojo.

At age 13, Luis's mother contracted bird flu and passed due to complications. With no other living relatives, he was taken in and cared for by Mamá Welles. He and Jackie were attached at the hip, whether Jackie liked it or not. He looked up to Jackie and even almost joined the Valentinos with him until Jackie’s accident scared him off that road.

2067 to 2072 (19 to 24 years old): Mercenary Days

During his early 20s, Luis’s life took a turn as he followed Jackie into mercenary work. Luis found himself falling into an intense niche of gigs: assassination and theft. This style of work, as well paying as it was, took an insurmountable toll on his mental health. He became paranoid and closed off pushing away his family and friends out of fear. He was repeatedly required to change his look and face well on hits, sometimes for days or weeks. He changed his look and mannerisms so often that he often had a hard time recognizing himself in the mirror. He fell into a habit of heavy drinking and dependency on Paxium and “Char” to deal with his day-to-day life.

It took several years and interventions before he even admitted that he had a problem, but a particular incident knocked some sense into him. After a particularly brutal assignment, Luis had actually entertained the thought of chipping in a new face, one that could change look at the drop of a hat. Then, it hit him. How crazy that was, giving himself a new face, the thought of coming home and having his mother not recognize him. That terrified him more than anything in the world.

He dropped all his mercenary work right then, ghosted all his fixers and clients, and sought refuge under the counsel of Sebastian Ibarra.

2073 to 2074 (25 to 26 years old): Recovery

Luis spent his next few years under the wing of Sebastian Ibarra and several other therapists. His recovery was rough, reconciling with his past actions and almost relapsing several times. Padre guided him through it, offering him words of wisdom and religious mentoring. He reconciled the faith he had lost during his dark years and reconnected with those he had pushed away. When Padre found that idle hands made him waver he offered a solution: a job as a Fixer in the Vista Del Rey district.

2075 to 2080 (27 to 32 years old): Present Day

As of 2077, Luis is a Fixer in the Vista Del Rey district under the mentor of Sebastian Ibarra, handing out mid-tier jobs and trying to stay out of too much trouble. He’s quickly rising in fame as a reliable and competent Fixer and gaining more reputation as the years go. He cares deeply for his crews and clients and his home district and does his best to keep them safe.

2080 and Onward (32+ years old): El león de Vista Del Rey

Luis's fame and reputation later skyrockets and he gains the title “El león” or The Lion of Vista Del Rey. He’s deemed the “King” of Vista Del Rey and then later the whole Glen after Padre steps down as a Fixer. He’s wealthy, famous, and well-established all over Night City, and puts his money back into his community and his family.
