i used to cosplay my kindred spirit, Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri on Ice years ago ... would like to cosplay Yuri again, and debut him at a Weeb Night, and definitely gonna be him for next year's Connecticon! (If we get to go ... hope we do. Also wish to visit the ones in Rhode Island, Boston, and New York, plus Nintendo store.) Yuri and Android 18 were my main cosplays for a time, probably gonna change to Yuri and Sailor Mars, albeit I only have a skater dress for Mars, and not a proper cosplay, but I still wuv eet, my surrogate Big Sis got me the Sailor Mars purple wig (from Sailor Moon Crystal) and skater dress, i was sho happy, while Micky got me the Yurio jacket custom made for me, and also my Yurio wig (not pictured here ... that was my bleached hair when i was 27).

Off story

After Victor found out about the local cat café, him an Yuuri decided to surprise Yurio with a visit. Knowing Yurio liked cats and finding big amusement in teasing the younger Russian, Victor saw the cat café as an opportunity for a sort of harmless - slightly mocking - joke. To his big suprise Yurio got nothing but excited and showed a genuin delight over the sight of all the ragged cats, strolling around. Neither Yuuri nor Victor had ever seen such big grin on Yurios face and they were amazed to see how soft he turned with the fluffy, slightly stinking, creatures, giggling behind his back at the way he so carefully devoted every cat his equal attention. 

Yuri had the best day ever, only getting slightly  annoyed at the way Victor and Yuuri never - not even now - seemed to be able to keep their hand off each other. He had the cats and he would not let those annoying dog-people ruin his time with them. Even when they with disgusted faces made stupid comments about an extra cool, super cute, punk cat - did he let them get to him. (Yes, the cat stank and drooled, but so did them, so fuck off!) He simply lifted the stray cat to his chest and whispered as they walked away: “Don’t listen to them champ. They think they’re so perfect but we’ll show them! They suck and, you know, cool cats like us don’t need them, we’re fine by our own.”
