All-Star Superman and Lois Lane
After being discovered by the US government, baby Kal K. was given to Agents Martha Clarke and John Kent, raising him as "Ma" and "Pa" Kent. However, operation head General Sam Lane couldn't foresee two eventual problems: Clarke and Kent's legitimate affection for the child, and his own daughter's whistleblowing on the his illegal activities. Helping the young couple escape, Clarke and Kent sacrificed themselves to give Kal the chance at a real life.
Kal and Lois spent months on the run, eventually falling in with The Planet, an activist group working to disrupt the activities of the Apex mega corporation, itself tied to the captivity of Kal and others like him. Lois's journalistic skills and Kal's superhuman abilities--speed, strength, able to leap miles into the air--proved a powerful combination, drawing other activists like Suzanna Hawke (The Green Arrow) and Arthur Shin (The Aquaman) to their cause.
At the same time, Kal discovered a new aspect to his powers: he could access a "Phantom Zone" brimming with ethereal beings. They would impart knowledge and power to him, bolstering his physical strength with strange visions, superheated beams of light, and eventually the power of flight. Chief among the phantoms was someone or something named Zod, and he had vested interest in Kal and the secret of his origins.
Kal shared that interest, but he had more important things on his mind. Namely, working to assure a better world for his partner and the child they were now eagerly awaiting...

I had some though, about the classic "Danny adopt Connor because Clark don't treat him right" scenario.
I'm not gonna defend Clark, first because he's objectively wrong (poor Connor did nothing to warrant rejection and he needs love!) and second because it seems like a strawman of the toxic masculine fear of "being trapped by a woman making a baby with him without his consent" (see also Damian Wayne...)
But.
Without being defendable, it's actually understandable that Clark didn't reacted like Danny. Because Lex is not to Clark what Vlad is to Danny.
Vlad wanted to adopt Danny. He is his father's best friend and, for a part of the phandom, his godfather. They had a prank war between us. They collaborate against greater foes. They're two of the only three halfas in existence. Dani was created has a potential heir to be loved, before being discarded by Vlad as not good enough.
Lex? Lex wanted nothing from Superman but him to stop existing. He's no kryptonian, nor want anything to do with them. He hadn't try to make a child or a pet but just a pawn, a thing that could punch his target hard enough. He stole the genetic material of a dying race to finish its extinction himself.
Would Clark had reacted the same if the clone was created by Zod?
