I guess it wouldn’t be a good idea to put “prey” beastmen (rabbit, mouse) into Savanaclaw tbh… Probably a good way to avoid bullying.
[Referencing this post!]
Tumblr media
We learned in the latest hometown event (ie the trip to the Sunset Savanna) that tensions exist within subspecies of beastmen and that it has been a challenge to unite them. This is similar to what occurs between different kinds of fae. For example, Sebek’s mom and grandpa are nocturnal fae, who do not get along with the diurnal fae seen in Fairy Gala. This is also true, to some degree, of different kinds of merpeople. Recall that Azul was bullied for spitting up ink when he cried and for his bulky tentacles which made him a slow swimmer; these are traits associated with octopus merfolk. I’m sure tensions also exist between humans (such as mages and non-mages, something mentioned by Rollo and implied by Riddle when he talks down Yuu’s inability to use magic).
Twisted Wonderland provides us with several examples of group infighting. Furthermore, the environment of NRC and Savanaclaw itself perpetuates a hierarchical structure (which may contribute to these tensions). Something else that’s brought up here and there (especially in episodes 1’s duel and episode 5’s Vil vs Epel situation) is that “the weak obey the strong”. It’s not exactly a formal rule, but it seems to be a social creed that governs NRC.
With all of this in mind, it’s very easy to imagine that there may be tension between “prey” and “predator” beastmen (though as I said in my original post, I don’t think we can say for certain right now that the Mirror of Darkness separates the beastmen into Heartslabyul/Savanaclaw based on prey/predator status), as well as social issues surrounding strength and imposing it as a means of enforcing one’s will over the weak. It kind of reminds me of the conflict presented in Zootopia. That’s just a theory though a gaaaame theory, thanks for watching—

I know it's been days since Wish was released, but I finally watched it and...
I still think Enchanted (2007) is the Disney movie that celebrates the classics while bringing an original story to all audiences.
It has romance, music by Alan Menken, 2D animation, a cool villain, and a amazing cast!

Just a small reminder from an Italian from Italy to anyone wishing to know more and take inspiration from my country. Do it! But, to have a less frustrating research and frustrate the local less:
"Italian" as an adjective cannot be use to describe anything before the 1861, but the geographical peninsula.
1861 marks the unification and the official birth of Italy as a state. Before, it was divided into many different states, each with a different foreign domination, each with different dialects and traditions. There is no Italy before 1861. No Italian fashion, no Italian cuisine, no Italian whatsoever.
One of the mottos of the unification was, after the country was united: "We made Italy, now we have to make Italians".
This to say: Italy is a variegated country still today, pizza isn't the national dish, isn't typical of the whole country. All the various areas sprung from different states that were occupied by different foreign powers, bringing divisions further.
If you want to research on Italy, particularly during history, the golden rule is "research regional". The more regional you go, the more accurate you will be... And the more easier your research will be (from experience).
Also: the accents are significant! "Papà" means "Dad" in Italian, but if you write it "Papa"... It's "Pope". Univocally.
And: please don't write mafia or any criminal organisation without specific research. If you don't know who Falcone and Borsellino are, stop and go back before starting your Mafia AU. Particularly if your goal is to show the criminal organisation as noble and honourable against a corrupted state... Our state is corrupted because its ties with mafia. Not the other way around. If you're looking for that kind of story, you're looking for Robin Hood, not Toto Riina.
A last thing for everyone who saw White Lotus: any hotel concierge telling a client that she looks like Peppa Pig in the face would be fired in five minutes. :)

so it turns out the daily wire show, which is a conservative youtube channel are making a new version of snow white. it will have politics and conservative views in it.
I saw that! I’m learning that movies should communicate values; the studios making them should let those movies speak the values for themselves.
Example: one of my friends was shown a screening of Zootopia while it was still in development and he said that the Disney execs working on it introduced the clips like “check out this movie we’re making! It will have amazing worlds designed totally by animals, for animals.” And all the scenes were of animal puns and chases through the mice town, et cetera.
Tumblr media
Now, we know that Zootopia’s values and themes are all about trying to make the world a better place, and racism, and how everyone actually has a lot in common. But none of the trailers or promotional material made that the sole focus. It was more about how the world was entirely “animal.”
Everybody likes animals. Everybody is likely to have very little problem with going to see a movie about animals. Left or right, liberal or conservative, they’ll go see a story about animals. And the they’ll let their “guard” down. And they’ll be open to learn what the story has to say about what might otherwise be considered “political.”
But if Disney had come out and said (like they do in a lot of their promotional stuff for new movies like Snow White) that the movie was ABOUT racism, or sexism, or oppression, less people would have given it a chance. Only people who agree with Disney’s views on racism would have gone to see the movie; and they would have done it without objectivity, because they would’ve walked in, ready to champion a movie that represents their values, no matter how good or bad the movie actually was.
The problem with Daily Wire’s Snow White is that it is so obviously a political move, or a swipe at Disney, or a swipe at “woke” values. It is being made to do that, or it will be associated with that, no matter what. So people who think poorly of Daily Wire will not go see this movie, unless it’s to hate-review it, because they know it’s made by Daily Wire. The movie isn’t allowed to speak for itself.
That’s the problem. The stories are becoming all representation of politics and sides, and no genuine communication.
The whole point of a movie is to convince people of a truth statement. The story of Snow White should say “Innocent love is valuable.” It should not say, “I believe that innocent love is valuable.”
See the difference?
The first example of a statement is about the value. The second statement is about the person making the statement about the value. One is virtue-signaling, and here’s-the-side-I’m-on. The other is simply a demonstration of truth, regardless of who’s side you’re on.
Tumblr media
Nobody who is liberal or left-leaning or just plain doesn’t like the Daily Wire will go and see their Snow White in good faith. Instead, they’ve probably pushed liberal people toward the Disney version, out of a desire to demonstrate who’s “side” they’re on. Just like nobody who is conservative or right-leaning will go see the new Disney Snow White in good faith. Instead, Disney’s pushed conservative people toward the Daily Wire version.
Cuz it’s not about the story anymore. It’s not a story. It’s just an obnoxious political flag to rally under.
Stories are supposed to be HOW you open your mouth and talk about values. Whether it’s through your company’s press or the trailers or whatever, you’re not supposed to say what the story is really about; it’s supposed to say that for itself.
It’s like saying, “Snow White, tell everyone here your name!” Well, why? You just gave it away. Now nobody cares what Snow White has to say.

Voretober 01 - Welcome
Length: 2700 words Vore type: Oral Vore, F/F, Willing Prey, Implied Digestion Fandom: Zootopia Other info: snake pred, anthro prey, like 80% of this is plot
Ophilia took a deep breath, hoping to calm her beating heart. So she was moving to a city she'd only visited for a week. So she wasn't even living in the city proper. She was a grown snake; she could deal with all that. What was eating at her?!
The answer came easily, of course, no matter how much she tried to push it back down: her landlords-to-be were… bunnies. Really, it was more like she was moving in with a family of them. Her harness grew tighter around her dark, scaly neck and chest as she slithered up to the door, pulling her rolling bags behind her. In her mind's eye, she recalled every bunny tourist she'd seen back in Squamatoa, the way they huddled away from the reptiles around them, the way they flinched and apologized for a gentle (and soft! Very soft fur!) nudge on the street. Seeing that every day, knowing that she was the reason for it… it would weigh on her.
Nonetheless, Ophilia was at the doorstep before she knew it. She cast one more glance behind her, as though measuring out how hard it would be to simply give up. Too hard, she decided, the time for that had well and truly passed. So, with another breath failing to soothe her nerves, she pressed her snout into the doorbell.
The bell barely got through half of its "ding-dong!" before the door swung open. Behind it stood a bunny in jeans and a green flannel; Ophilia watched him look up to meet her face and his own cycle through curiosity, surprise, and more curiosity, before settling on a warm smile. "You must be Ofelaia, right?" he said, with just a hint of country twang, "C'mon in, let's get you set up."
"Oh! Thank you. Ophilia, though. Philip Lapis, right? I think I talked mostly with Jane." The snake managed to push her anxiety down enough to carry a conversation; besides, she knew him moderately well from their chats online.
"Yep, that'd be my eldest. Speaking of…" Philip turned and shouted back into the house. "Jane! Ophilia's here, can you show her around? Robert, Nathan, help her with her bags!"
A pair of bunnies, around the same size as Philip but visibly younger, scampered out the door. One nearly tripped, gawking up at her (feeling self-conscious, she lowered her head closer to their heights), and earned himself a light smack from his father to hurry him up. Ophilia detached herself from her bags and thanked the pair as they vanished inside, luggage in tow. Philip followed them, cautioning them to be careful around the walls.
Seeing a few faces not visibly terrified settled the snake's heart, so she wound her way inside. The entryroom was deceptively big for the front facade, and held a half-dozen bunnies; through a couple of doorways, she saw another quartet sitting around a game console, a few enjoying salad bowls, and one in the windowsill glance at her before returning to his book. Yet one more bunny, this one in a yellow sundress, hopped down the stairs in three jumps, then skipped up to and past Ophilia; a well-measured kick closed the front door with a click rather than a slam. The bunnies all looked similar, but Ophilia was confident on this one.
"Jane? I'm glad to see another familiar face. U-uh, I mean-" she stammered, painfully aware of how many bunnies were staring at the black snake in their home.
"Good to see ya, too! No worries there, you'll figure out most of 'em in time, I'm sure." Jane bounced in a weak approximation of a curtsy, then skipped down the hall and beckoned Ophilia to follow her. "Anywho, your room's down this way. Ground floor with a lever handle - wish I could say all of Zootopia's as accessible to a snake, but I ain't gonna make a liar of myself."
Ophilia followed on autopilot, weaving past a number of bunnies in various outfits and activities, from a small child doodling on a whiteboard in an oversized shirt, to one taking selfies in far too much makeup, to one who tried to kickflip over her tail (and, luckily, succeeded). She still felt all those eyes on her, but at least they seemed to be looks of curiosity rather than mortal terror… mostly. There were still a few who leapt away, with one even clinging to a ceiling fixture. On the whole, though, not as bad as she had feared. Finally, Jane turned and stepped into a room, rather than a hallway.
It was a modest room, a little smaller than Ophilia's last bedroom, but certainly comfortable enough. Carpeted, too, which she knew she'd appreciate at night. The bed was too small for her, not that she had been intending on using it. And on it were her two unopened suitcases, the rope that had been tied to her harness, and…
"Delilah, Franklin, and Janet Lapis! Just what do you think you're doing?!" Jane shouted at the trio sprawled on the bed, clad only in underwear. One of the girls tried to hide behind the other. Ophilia noticed her own jaws hanging open in surprise and quickly closed them. Jane had warned her that some of her siblings were… less than subtle, but this was beyond what she'd expected.
Franklin rolled his eyes. "We're trying to be familiar for our guest in a strange and unknown new place, duh." Next to him, the braver sister added, "you said we could, remember?"
Ophilia gave her best bewildered look to Jane, who glowered at her siblings. "That was for after she- ugh, fine!" Arms crossed and foot rapidly tapping, she turned to address Ophilia. "They want to be eaten. This ain't a trap or nothing, they're just weird; feel free to toss 'em out of here if you don't wanna indulge 'em - hell, I would've done it myself if I knew they were here."
Thoroughly confused, Ophilia stared back and forth between Jane and the three underwear-clad bunnies. "They- I- wait, what do you mean if I don't want to-?"
Jane shot her siblings a flat look. "Toldja it was an outdated stereotype. Go find a fox or something - I know you're already banned from that wolf bar."
Ophilia noticed she'd tightened into a coil without thinking. She tried to force herself to relax from the tonal whiplash, and asked again, "no, I mean… it seems beyond bad manners to kill my landlords' family, to understate things. Also, probably illegal?"
Jane scoffed. "Do I look like a cop?" As though remembering she wasn't just talking to her family, the bunny froze and tried to rephrase, "that is… look, we bunnies tend to have big families. Even if nobody gets outright murdered, we've probably got a half-dozen-odd cousins kick the bucket every month or so, and that's not even counting up or down a generation. People die, we keep moving. Especially if they wanted to go."
"Like Uncle Saul, who kept free-diving for as long as possible. 'Til he didn't come back up." Franklin chipped in. He hopped off the bed and shot Ophilia a smile as he passed her out the door. "Anyway, come find me if you change your mind, or just wanna save me for later. You seem nice."
Soon after, a loud crash echoed down the hall, followed by a woman shouting Jane's name. The bunny in question pinched the bridge of her snout and sighed. "Ugh. I'll have to show you around more later. Just real quick, if you do eat 'em, do the rest of us a favor and wait for 'em to stop moving before you slither out, okay? And if you don't, I promise we'll all understand if they need a shove out." With that, she left the bewildered snake alone with Delilah and Janet.
Ophilia stared at the closed door, then turned to the two bunnies. The ears on both of them drooped, and the shy one was actually the first to speak. "Sorry we came on a bit hard, miss Ophilia," she said, "Janet and I don't get many excuses to visit the more predator-heavy parts of the city, so… we were a little excited that an actual snake was coming to live here."
Janet pointed at a small pile of clothes in the corner, and smiled sheepishly. "I told her not to expect much, but when we saw how big you were in the front hall… well, I got my hopes up, myself."
"Weren't your brothers just in here to drop off my luggage?" Ophilia asked, then immediately questioned herself, "wait, why is that the biggest issue I have here?"
"Cousins, actually, and it's nothing they haven't seen before. Stay here long enough, and you'll see laundry day surprise everyone. They basically just called us fools and left."
"Taking it light because they didn't think anything would happen?"
"Nah, we just don't get along." Janet cracks a wry smile. "Honestly, when I get eaten, I hope my spirit sticks around long enough to see if he'll actually congratulate me on fulfilling my dream, or if he'll still say it was a stupid dream in the first place."
Ophilia looked again between the door and the scantily-clad bunnies. "Huh, you guys really were serious about not getting in trouble for eating you…"
"Yeah. Just 'cuz we actually want to go out that way, though, I wouldn't go after Nate if I were you." Janet's ears flicked upright and at attention. "But wait, is this leading into something?"
In response, Ophilia hooked her tail into her harness to take it off, and let her body swell and shrink with a nice, big breath. "Maybe. I don't want the others to be scared of me, but… if it helps you out, and takes care of my meals for a bit…"
The grin on Janet's face stretched remarkably wide on such a comparatively small head. She grabbed her sister by the shoulders and gently shook her. "Y'hear that, Delilah? We get to be part of the food chain, like in the old stories!"
If not for her dark scales, Ophilia would have blanched at that thought. "N-no, just you, for now. Even if you say they'd be fine with it, I just got here; I don't want to push it."
Janet let go of Delilah, who flopped back on the bed before propping her head up on her arm. "In that case, d'you want me to tell the folks that we talked you into it? For a bit of extra convincing?"
Ophilia brought the tip of her tail to her snout, a smile on her face but still in thought. "Would you do that for me?"
She got a giggle in reply. "Franklin wasn't just being polite, he was right: you are a nice person. And of course - especially if it means I'll wind up on your menu later!"
"Thank you. Um, now then…" She slithered up to the bed, looming over Janet. "Those are polyester, right? Could you take them off? I don't think my stomach would agree with it." In a flash, the bunny sat, bare, before her. Once again, Ophilia felt her heart race from nerves, even though it wasn't fear the bunnies around her were looking at her with. "Okay. S-sorry if this hurts; I've never done this with anyone alive."
Janet nodded and Delilah scooted a bit away - still paying rapt attention, but out of the way. Ophilia leaned in, opened her jaws, and clamped them down around Janet's shoulder and chest. Almost automatically, she drew back and twirled, surrounding grey and white fur with lengths of black scales. Janet shuddered in her grip, and Ophilia pulled back, but with another smile and a nod, the snake readied herself for the main event.
The bunny's ears folded back easily at her lips, laying flat against her head. Soft fur slid over her forked tongue, the taste remniscent of a grassy field on a warm day. Ophilia licked under Janet's muzzle, then muffled her resulting giggle with a gulp. Feeling her neck stretch and separate her scales was a rare, but satisfying feeling, and with Janet's head giving her a preview, Ophilia salivated further at the promise of shoulders and hips. One loop of her body twists and releases, just in time for her mouth to stretch over the bunny's shoulders. She half-expected a change in taste, for the worse, but since her meal had slipped off her top, it was just soft, tasty fur getting wetted down between her jaws. She felt the bunny's chest expand slowly, in sharp contrast to her quick-beating heart, and quietly wondered how her own nerves were doing - well enough to keep eating, for sure.
Another swallow, and her snout hid Janet's fluffy tail from her view, just as her own coil had prior. Regardless, her throat pulled the excited bunny deeper, and though she couldn't see the tail, she could feel it against her lips. And she was right: the wonderful stretch of a nice, big meal got better with more of the bunny inside. If she could, Ophilia wouldn't mind staying like this for a few more minutes; her body, however, had other plans, and the rippling waves of unconscious muscle dragged Janet's hips and rear inside.
The snake pivoted and pointed her head up, pressing her prey's furry feet against the ceiling. It wasn't a nice gravity-assisted swallow, but the pressure still helped her get Janet down faster. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Deliliah on her knees, straddling a pillow and staring right at her - or perhaps at her bulging neck. With a few more gulps, Ophilia finally managed to close her jaws around Janet's paws; from there, it just took a strong swallow or two to be able to lower her head back down. Delilah was still looking right at her, with a heavy blush.
As the snake and bunny looked at each other, Ophilia felt the lump in her neck descend lower and further, until coming to a slow stop in her stomach. Delilah was the first to speak, reaching out with a paw. "Can I… may I feel her?"
Black scales coiled around each other, hiding her prey from sight. "I don't think so. Not yet, at any rate. Would you mind leaving me- leaving us alone for a little?" To her relief, Delilah nodded and left the room, though her sing-song bragging about what her sister "got" to do was still audible for most of a minute after.
Ophilia slithered further from the door and nudged open a suitcase, then turned to the thick, bunny-sized lump in her belly. "Are you- I mean, you're not going to be okay, but was that what you thought it would be like?" Silence stretched for several seconds, and her head drooped with her mood, then she felt Janet move. Only a muffled "mm-hm" made it through the layers of scale and muscle, but it was enough to relax the predator, who went back to unpacking. "I'm glad to hear that. I've never - the others I've eaten had stopped breathing before I so much as touched them. Just… big pieces of meat, sorta. I don't know how I'll react when you- when my body treats you just like that. I guess, it was nice to meet you Janet, and goodbye?"
Muffled laughter answered her. Then, for the remainder of the hour, the only sounds in the room were the gurgle of a snake's stomach working on a large meal and idle conversation filtering through the door. It was a strange welcome, to be sure, but somehow Ophilia felt her new life would turn out just fine.

89!
89: Zootopia Au. Ooooh this is a good one that I have not properly expanded on at all!! Obviously, Hera is Judy Hopps, which makes Kanan Nick Wilde. I'm not 100 percent sure about the other characters-- Chief Bogo might be Fox, or Mace Windu, or even Commander Sato! The trouble would be the villain, honestly-- not sure who it would be
But! I do have one scene for sure that lives rent free in my head
"Did you just boot my stroller?"
As Kanan gaped at her in disbelief, Hera lifted her chin, confidence surging through her. She had him now.
"Kanan Jarrus, you're under arrest."
Lifting an eyebrow, Kanan said, "For what? Hurting your feelings?"
"Income tax evasion."
That made his ironic, confident exterior falter. And it fell away completely when Hera read the numbers she'd calculated within moments. Her first dream job had been an astronaut, and she'd always been told you needed to be good at math for that.
She'd chosen to help people instead, but the math part had stuck.
As she finished her spiel, Kanan seemd to recover some of his confidence. "Nice try, but it's my word against yours," he pointed out.
Hera couldn't quite hold back a grin as she held up the pen she'd been carrying. "Actually," she said, "it's your word against yours." And then she clicked the replay button on the record embedded in it.
Having a recording pen was very helpful in lectures in school. And right now, seeing Kanan's frozen and slightly panicked expression, this was the most helpful it had ever been.
She couldn't resist-- lifting an eyebrow, she said in a sweet tone, "It's called a hustle, dear."
From within the stroller, a snort of laugh came. "Oh, she hustled you GOOD," came the voice of the boy who'd been working with Kanan earlier. Hopping out of the stroller, the boy pulled the sticker Hera had given him yesterday off of his orange shirt and slapped it onto Kanan's. "You're gonna need that," he said, grinning widely. "You're the junior officer here now, Kanan."
With that, he headed down the street, laughing to himself as he did so.

~Act V~
Having been directed to the rainforest biome, Techno knocked on the oak door in front of them. 'Philza Minecraft, Technoblade ZPD. We just want to know what happened to James Marriott.' The elytrian opened the door a smidge, not fully due to the deadbolt. Stepping into the light, he let it shine on his face, showing a scar across the eye. 'You should be asking what happened to me.' The duo shocked that such a tiny otter did that.
'Woah, a tiny otter did that?' Techno gasped.
'What happened?' added Fundy.
'He was an animal. Down on all fours. HE WAS A SAVAGE.' Philza thinking back to the scene; James jumping through the window separator after scratching the seat covers to oblivion. 'There was no warning, just kept yelling about the night howlers. THE NIGHT HOWLERS' Fundy decided that they shouldn't tell the whole truth as to why they were there, rather a fib. Placing his paws in his pockets, hunching his shoulders. 'So you know about the night howlers too? Good, good because night howlers are exactly what we are here to talk about, right?'
Prompting, 'Yep, so you just open the door and tell us what you know and we'll tell you what we know.' gesturing between the three parties present. Philza, just scared out of his wits, unlocked the deadbolt. 'Clever fox,' Techno praised the fox. Hearing a scuffle from inside, Techno decided to walk into the house. 'Buddy?'
'Are you...okay?' Seeing the bird's aggressive body language, Techno yelled at Fundy to run before bolting himself. 'What is wrong with him?'
'I DON'T KNOW' They both quickly backpedaled out of Philza's residence, moving in the opposite direction from which they came.
'JUMP' Techno proceeded to lead Fundy through the bountiful foliage. 'HEAD FOR THE SKY TRAM' the duo landing in a vine before performing a move you'd only see in Tarzan. 'Whatever you do, don't let go'
'I'm going to let go' 'RABBBIIITTTT'
During the chase, Techno had called for backup. For some random reason, the elytrian wasn't anywhere to be seen when the chief had arrived. Techno almost reluctantly returning his badge before being interrupted.
'Uh, no' The chief looked to the fox, disbelief in simply being told 'no'
'What I said was no, he will not be giving you that badge. Look, you gave him a clown vest and a 2 wheel joke-mobile and 2 days to solve a case you guys haven't cracked in 2 weeks. Yea, of course, he needed help from a fox. None of you guys were going to help him.' the chief sputtering, unable to get a word in. 'Chief, here's the thing. You gave him 48hrs and technically we still have 10 left to find Mr. Marriott and that's what we're going to do. So if you'll excuse us, we have a very big lead to follow and case to crack, good day.' Giving a two fingered salute, the duo walked onto the sky frame's open cart.

I hope you enjoyed it and loved it and want them to kiss as much me and @zootopiathingz do bc I will be someone else entirely physically and mentally and emotionally and just in general next year.
Also, thank you for enabling my addiction bc the wildehopps posting has just begun tbh. I could always be just a little crazier about the fox and the bunny who are partners but best friends first and foremost.

One of the issues with disney movies lately is some of the disney female protagonists is the adorkable personality. Which worked with Rapunzel and Anna but as time passed on, it seem to be the norm which the problem came once Wish revealed. Although despite that issues, all but Asha have reasons the way they are.
Rapunzel and Anna have been isolated from everyone with Rapunzel in the tower with only a chameleon as her friend and it didn't help that Mother Gothel is abusive to her while Anna stays in the castle with her sister being distant to her. I am not sure she is close with any of the servants since they are servants. Of course, they are socially awkward but they improve with Rapunzel having to experience social interaction in her TV series while Anna no longer has this in the sequel.
Moana is mostly serious and adventurous, which overshadows her quirkiness as only shown during her time in the ocean compared to the island as she fulfilled her duty as future chief. She has some laughable moments, but it doesn't stop her to continue her goal to saved the world and she is usually the serious of the two which the other is Maui.
Mirabel's quirkiness is the way she is because of how she isolated by her family and her village didn't pay much attention to her due to her being giftless which is why she tries her best to fit in. Her main personality is being empathetic as she helps her family with Antonio being brave enough with her favorite cousin by her side, Luisa talking about pressure that Mirabel listened, and Mirabel helping Isabel to let go of perfectionist. She can also be seen sassy like how she talks about Isabel.
Whereas Asha has no reason for the need to be quirky and awkward, she seems to be accepted by her friends, family, and the kingdom before the events of the story. She could have been an introverted, graceful woman who admired the king that she wanted to fulfilled his footsteps before realizing the truth.
Raya, Judy, Elsa, and Merida are the four disney female protagonist (not counting Pixar, I only included Merida since she is a princess) to not have that personality which is why are likable. The only issues they have is the movie itself especially Raya's movie theme being the trust message that is dangerous to followed, Zootopia's twist villain, the way Elsa is handle in the movies, and the bear curse parts.
Disney TV shows also have this issues with female protagonists, but not gonna say much since I am not sure if you know or not.
I haven’t seen like 3 of the movies listed here (Moana, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Brave) 😂 but I’ll trust that you know what you’re talking about, since I’ve seen Asha being compared to previous “adorkable” female leads like Rapunzel, Anna, Moana, and Mirabel in other Wish reviews.
The other 4 can have their quirkiness justified by being extremely sheltered and/or an outlier in their respective communities. However, this is not true of Asha, who is not only well known but also loved in Rosas—by her family, her friends, and heck, even the QUEEN.
It definitely feels like Disney got too comfortable with its formula, and in trying to please both modern audiences and older fans, they ended up pleasing no one. They’re so focused on making sequels and live action remakes now (which I guess is… easier??) 😅 I don’t know why Disney doesn’t make characters that are unique yet strong in their own ways. They’re capable of innovative characters (even if the execution of the overall stories aren’t great), as we see in Frozen and Zootopia (movies I have seen).
I did hear there was a lot of executive meddling in Wish’s production, so I wonder if this is why Asha had an unexplained quirkiness to her rather than a character that makes more sense for what she is and where she comes from. With her dad being a philosopher, I could see Asha working better as a quiet and introspective type who learns to be brave and to speak up for her own dreams and the dreams of those she loves rather than being a passive stander-by. This would actually give her a stronger character arc and growth rather than remaining static as she does in the actual movie we got 😔

Welcome To Kervin Fire Stories
Welcome to my blog called Kervin Fire Stories. Since I can't do something fanfic related (yet) and I don't use my personal account @kervinfire isn't much use since my personal account caused a lot of fights and unwanted attention.
Just like every other blog, my asks are now open.
So I am using this blog to either make fanfic updates or make one-shots.
But most importantly if I had a budget I may also work on commissioning into comic book stories.
Either way, I am going to copy-paste from my previous posts..
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO USE MY FAN FICS AND MY REQUESTED AND COMMISSIONED ARTWORKS WITHOUT PERMISSION AND NO RIGHT TO DO NFTS.

Formerly known as Project: End Of Days. Operation: F.T.F.S. (Finish/Fix The Fan Story) is mostly known to fix controversial Fan comics, Fan Fics, Fan Videos and but mostly also fixing certain short fan stories all thanks to comission money like PayPal. The only catch is that it needs to be commissioned to the original artist who made the either a controversial comic, video, fan fic and etc. in order finish the story by fixing a new comic for example.
The name change took inspiration from Cody Rhodes WrestleMania 40 victory and previous name Baron Corbin's Finisher called End of Days.
Zootopia - "Birth of a New End" Needed to be commissioned by Borba (Coming Soon) Set in a different AU. Kervin (Zootopia OC) has met Nick and Judy as a married couple who moved to the same apartment and interacted with them becoming good neighbors however as time passed one day Kervin received a call that he got a part of the new career he is working on but after the call he overheard an argument next door and he knew something does not feel right. Kervin has to choose to either ignore it to proceed his career and pretend it never happened or prevent it from bad things that can happen in the future.
Coming Soon
ORIGINAL STORIES (NON Fanfics)
Public School Domain - (Coming Soon) The first original and non fanfic story inspired by school games like Rockstar's Bully Scholarship Edition. The story is set in a modern fantasy world era in the 2000s about an original character who is a wolf fox hybrid student who came to a city bay area who enrolls a new school filled with plenty of public domain characters and locations both inside and outside of school grounds including historical artwork, folklore, fairy tales and many more. The only main objective is simple which is to graduate however with a place like that there are more adventures to come.
