#HappyTheatreDay to every actor, singer, dancer, musician, performer, writer, director, producer and everyone else involved with the creative side of any performance that goes on all around the world! I have really been #blessed to have been performing in and watching theatre all my life. From dance classes, Dragon's Theatre School, drama club, cello lessons, gymnastics and self-taught hoola hooping (and BGT) to cheerleading, being apart of my school choir & band, circus life & Dance Estelle and my GCSEs & College, I've done a lot! And I am eternally proud of the fact there is SO much terrific theatre down here that is right at my feet, I am so lucky to have the supportive family I do too - who have always pushed for me to write and perform all my life, as well as ensuring I have seen enough theatre to inspire me too, of which I am so grateful for, as I have so many happy and wonderful memories whilst going to the many different theatres I've been to both locally and around the country. And most importantly... I will always be thankful for growing up at Cherry Tree Holiday Park as it has allowed me to dance and see so many different types of performance and cabaret EVERY SINGLE NIGHT of my life, which is the one thing that has inspired me the most in life and pursued me into the performing and creative arts the most and has changed my life forever! I LOVE YOU ALL SO, SO, SO MUCH!!!! ❤❤❤❤ AND THANK YOU @theleagueoflocals FOR MY SPECIAL POST AT MIDNIGHT!!! 💖💖💖💖 Hey guys, even though my anxiety & depression has been shit today, I've had a great day! I got a new Outfit, a couple packs of Harry Potter Socks, a Wheelchair and then mum & nan took me to Curry's "for a tumble-dryer" only to surprise me with GETTING ME A LAPTOP! We then went shopping and such for a little while and I FOUND A VAL DENTON DRESS IN PRIMARK FOR £10!!! I met some YouTubers/Bloggers in Lush, which was one of the most unique things that's ever happened. I didn't see Darkest Hour, but the Frankenstein Acting Workshop & Open Rehearsal was... like being at college??? The workshop was basic acting activities that were "Drama College" Level taught by a "Professional" tutor who was Val Denton with the persona of Ollie Plimsoles and had not much knowledge on (male) mental health (that her adaptation of Frankenstein was based on), psychology or sociology. And we all ended up talking about how the activities made us feel and I pretty much turned into Derren Brown and explained how these activities work and why we feel relaxed or tense and why we laugh when we get things wrong etc. And the second half was an "Open Rehearsal" and she explained that basically, she has only written 2 scenes and most of the script has came from the book and prior tonight, they've only rehearsed for 2 hours and she had to ask the audience for 'advice' on directing the play. And as no-one else volunteered to give advice, I ended up directing a play. But overall it was a lot of fun and worth the £5. Just finished Torchwood: Exodus Code by @johnscotbarrowman and @carolebarrowman! Really enjoyed the effectiveness of the description and the ideology of the storyline. The characters were varied and somewhat interesting (to a point). Captain Jack was surprisingly badly written (from my point of view) and overall not a lot happened till the very end where Captain Jack miraculously just "knows" what's going on, travels to Peru and saves the day... then 2 weeks later Gwen's alive and everything is fine with no explanation. The ending was very rushed and the story itself just felt like a rather good fanfiction... It's a great read of you're a fan of Torchwood and/or John Barrowman but from a reader/writer's view I am a little bit disappointed with the quality of language used.
