Anon was smart enough to choose the right words. I can't speak for the Borra Fandom since I don't belong there. But comparing Makroh and Borra to something that no one consumes anymore is too far fetched.

In Makroh basically nobody makes stuff..... 5 years ago or even more!

No one can dedicate themselves to a hobby 24h, cool but too much stress.

The last fanfic written was this month. The last drawing published this month. It's true, there are very few new writers, but thanks to them, Makroh went from having less than 20 fics last year, to 150 fics currently, they can't be considered nobody!

The only current artist has drawn (based on her twitter countdown who is 80% Makroh) almost 80 drawings dedicating herself to Mako and Iroh II, since she joined the boat. Thanks to her finally makroh had their good quality content their deserve.

But thanks to Towiwi the hype towards Makroh came, if it wasn't for her me and probably more ppl wouldn't be here as a simple makroh enthusiast waiting for the next drawing.

Personally I was in other very inactive fandom that survive by reposting old drawings from 8 years ago, that is inactivity on the part of the content creators.

Makroh has its fanbase greatly small, but there are people who STILL make stuff for them.

Eh, Im getting cheesy, but you guys aren't nobody. I understand that some of you aren't curent artist but still appreciate the good work. :)

Mako/Iroh is such and underrated ship. I wish we saw more content but there’s like one fic that gets updated and one artist. Same with Bolin/Korra. Basically nobody makes stuff for them anymore.

personally i dont ship either of them, but yeah i do wish that rarepairs got more fics/art.
