nanami kento is definitely the type of man to go to farmers markets. he’d wake you up early on a sunny saturday morning, that he was lucky to have off, and greet you with a soft “morning”. you’ve done this so many times before you know what the plans for the day are. once you get up breakfast is already done for you. you two eat as nanami discusses what he’s planning to make for dinner that night. once breakfast is finished you both get ready. nanami in a button up and dress pants as he rarely dresses casual outside of the house.

when you guys arrive, he is quick to lead you to his favorite vendors. he always gets bread from this one small bakery, which he claims has the second best bread he’s ever had. then you make your way over to the produce, where nanami buys the vegetables he will for the coming weeks dinner, as well as fruits for breakfast or snacks. no matter if you’re with him or not, he always buys a fresh bouquet of flowers for you <3. after you’ve gotten the rest of your groceries, he drives you home and places the food where it belongs. he even puts your flowers in a vase for you. the soft romance of it all has him looking forward to saturday’s with you <333

i cant stop thinking about eddie munson in a secret relationship with someone popular but one day they just have enough of their friends comments towards eddie and go OFF LIKE

just imagine him on one of his rants in the cafeteria, being loud and annoying basically everyone. the others around you started talking about how much of a freak druggie he was and other terrible things. you constantly heard them say things like that but never joined in or tried to stop it. you weren’t sure what caused your breaking point on this day but after jason yelled at eddie that he was a freak (for the hundredth time) something in you went off.

“can you just leave him the fuck alone? you snapped. the people at your table started muttering to each other. jason looked over at you and laughed a bit. “why do you care so much about that freak?” you sighed and rolled your eyes. “you guys always pick on him and it’s fucking annoying. don’t you have anything better to do than make fun of someone for being themselves? god you guys are so shallow and pathetic sometimes.” you stand up from your seat and promptly left the cafeteria in an attempt to calm yourself down.

“the hell was their problem today.” jason grumbled before sitting back down to continue his conversation with his friends. eddie, (after taking in the fact you stood up for him in front of your popular friends, which could ruin your reputation you tried so hard to build) followed you out of the cafeteria. he easily spotted you down the hall sitting on the floor outside of the bathrooms.

“that was fucking awesome.” he grinned and leaned against the wall by you, then slid down so he was sitting next to you on the ground. you turned to face him and giggled lightly. “you really think so?” eddie turned to face you to and nodded. “of course i do! popular y/n y/l/n standing up for eddie the freak munson in front of all their douchey friends? has to be one of the coolest thing to happen at this school.” he gave you a goofy smile before wrapping his arm around you. “you know, you didn’t have to do that for me. don’t wanna ruin your perfect reputation because some jocks decided to pick on me as normal.” he gently placed a kiss on the top of your head. you shrugged and then leaned on him. “i know i didn’t have to, but i wanted to. i got sick of them being rude to you all the time.” you glanced up at him seeing the lovesick smile that was on his face. “thank you…” he whispered so quietly you almost didn’t hear. “i‘ve never had anyone willingly do that for me…” he looked away as the faint embarrassment was starting to show by the blush on his cheeks. in response you simply kissed his jaw and rested your head on his shoulder. “i’d do it again in a heartbeat.”

nanami kento never leaves for a mission without telling you he loves you.

it didn’t matter if you two were in a fight causing little conversation that day, if he was at work, or even on a regular day.

he always did. his job was unpredictable, there was no guarantee that he would come safely, or even come home at all. regardless of whether the mission was small there was always the slight chance something could go wrong. he never wanted to risk leaving you alone, especially without some sort of closure. the least he could do was tell you he loves you, because he does. the love he feels for you he is sure he wouldn’t be able to recreate in another life, unless it was with you.

so, he would sigh, inform you he’s off to a mission walk over to you, plant a kiss on your forehead, and softly declare how he loves you dearly, then leave for what could be the last time.

oranges and pinks painted the sky as the sun set. the colors so vibrant it showed on your skin. megumi looked at you, your face colored with the warm tones the sky was giving off. he couldn’t help the smile that formed on his lips. half an hour ago he was in his room, reading another nonfiction book when you came in, telling him they had to show him something, and now here they both are. sitting on top of the schools roof watching as the sun set. it was truly beautiful. the soft breeze flowed past the two, making you shiver gently. silently, megumi took off his jacket and laid it over your shoulders. he didn’t bother asking if you wanted it, he would’ve given it to you anyways.

“thank you.” y/n looked at him and gave him an appreciative smile. god he was pretty, black sleeved shirt hanging loosely from his body, collarbone exposed. the colors from the now fading sunset in the reflection of his eyes. he nodded a bit and let out a soft mhm at your words. there was so much he wanted to say but couldn’t, words had never really being his strong suit. he hoped you realized how much you meant to him despite his stoic self and seemingly closed off heart. he really did care.

by now the sun had set, the breeze from before a bit colder. megumi would occasionally shiver at it but he didn’t mind as long as you was warm. the silence between them was comfortable, which he was thankful for. he looked back over to you to make sure you weren’t too cold. you were looking up at the partly clouding sky, smiling faintly as your eyes traced between stars to connect the constellations, the moonlight shining onto hour face. megumi found himself watching you silently, unable to look away. he watched as your eyes darted between each star. you looked so calm, so delicate yet strong as you stared up. warmth crept up onto his cheeks as he watched you. he was falling, and he couldn’t stop himself even if he tried.

megumi could feel your warm breathe on his face. the closeness between the two of you faintly getting closer. the room was dark, the lights were off and the sun had retreated west. crickets chirping could ever so slightly be heard from outside. your eyes scanned his face, his emotions barely being readable, but that was normal. deep in his eyes though something was bothering him, and you had known him well enough you could tell.

“gumi…?” you spoke softly, as if he was a child you were so gently trying to wake up. his eyes met yours and he could feel his guard fall. he felt safe, secure, happy. but he should be one to know good things don’t always last. they can’t last. they never have.

“yes, my love?” his voice barely above a whisper as he still kept his gaze on them.

“is something bothering you? you feel… off.” fuck. he hated how you could do this. see through him so easily. he had always been good at putting a wall between him and others, but when it came to you it was no use. you easily knocked it over with just a breathe. an action no one else could do. he thought about your question. he knew something was wrong, he wanted to tell you. but he had never been comfortable with being open. though even if he lied you would know. you always do.

“i just…” his eyes flickered down to your collarbone, anywhere but your face. “i just don’t want to lose you.” his words were barely audible, but with the little space between you two, you heard. he glanced back up at you. his wall was completely destroyed when it came to you. his eyes were softer than usual and he wasn’t as tense. the seven word sentence he spoke had held more emotions, more meanings than it would seem to others. he never liked talking about how he felt. now here he is. laying closely in front of his partner as he states how he has been feeling, what has been consuming his mind.

“i won’t ever leave you. i’ll always be here, with you. i promise.” you told him as you watched him with a loving, caring gaze.

“you can’t promise that in this world. you don’t have a choice.” his words came out more bitter than he intended, but it was the truth. anyone could die whenever and no one got to decide it.

“i know.” you let out a gentle breath. “but if i have a choice in it, i’ll always choose to stay with you…” you reached your hand to his face slightly, carefully wiping away the tear that had escaped his eye. after all he had been through, everyone he cared about or had been close to him left, he wanted to tell himself no. he wanted to tell himself that they could die or leave him whenever. but he didn’t. he felt protected even though anything terrible could happen to them both. he had never felt so at home, despite not truly having one. he felt in love. he looked back at you. eyes brimming with tears as he put his forehead on yours.

“and i’ll always choose to stay with you. no matter what, because i love you.” he confessed as he let the tears in his eyes roll down his cheeks.

- so when you couldn’t see each other one night you decided to facetime

- pls shoto the poor baby it confused him at first

- though after like 2-3 face times he ended up getting it because he’s a fast learner
