Re-Verse Mylene and Ivan!

Drawing these two was really fun! I kept Ivan mostly the same, but I went in a more scene-ish direction with Mylene. There's some really old character bio thing that called Mylene a "mischievous prankster", which doesn't fit her canon self at all, but I feel like this version of Mylene would be more like that. Both of them would be way less shy and reserved than their canon-verse counterparts. They're both still social activists, but to a much more extreme degree due to their world being a dystopian hellscape an all that gjsgdj

Before they join the resistence they aren't aware of The Supreme, but are aware that something is definitely wrong with the government of their world. They would initially form their own mini-resistence group investigating all the shady stuff happening, before finding out about the Supreme and joining Gabriel's resistence

Since the emo-verse has Gabriel as the butterfly hero, consider: Gabriel sending out akumas to help him defeat Shadybug and Claw Noir. He akumatizes someone (probably Kim again) into Dark Cupid to turn the villains into good guys (because there is no reality in which Gabriel's morality is not questionable if not outright awful), and Shadybug gets hit, so Claw Noir has to kiss her a la Ladybug to get her to turn back to the dark side but they are both wild and feral so it becomes a full makeout session in the middle of the street. I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.

Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.

Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

You all *really* liked my Re-verse designs so I did Rose and Juleka as well! The initial idea was to switch up their aesthetics, but being goth is like Juleka's defining trait so I just made her a slightly different flavor of goth jhkjjfjl

I've been throwing around some worldbuilding and backstory ideas for the Re-verse. The current idea for these two is that this Juleka is even more shy and reserved than our Juleka, since she never got to be friends with the other girls, and i feel like Anarka would be much more of a strict and controlling parent in this universe, similar to how Marinette seems to have the opposite homelife in the Re-verse. As for Rose, she didn't recieve proper treatment for her anime coughing disease™ due to the Supreme's influence on the healthcare system or something, so she's still sick. Due to Rose being bedridden most of the time, she also has little to no friends. Juleka and Rose are each other's only friend pretty much. The two of them would *eventually* join the Resistence some time after the events of the special (my hc is that by the time of the special the resistence consists of just Gabe, Alya, Nino, Max and Kim)
