Happy mother's day for all american :D Hope you told your mother you loved them today UU
In France it's not there yet, but i still did a little something...
It's Meng Yao and his mother Meng Shi in the Jiaoren AU. Probably their first bath In Yunmeng, free. A-Yao is a tiny guppy, around 6 years, and i had so much fun draing Meng Shi, especially her tail i wanted to make her the prettiest so A-Yao can brag about his mother é3è
Everytime someone complimented his tails he probably looked at his golden tail and went like "my mother's tail is prettier è3é" (It's not your fault boy, you're half human, she is full jiaoren U-U°)
Joke aside, i wanted to give her a etheral vibe (sea's foam vibe) because i'm merging western and eastern lore about mermaid, so when they die, mermaid turns into foam and fades away.
I hope you'll like it, i had ton of fun drawing and coloring it that's for sure :D

Here, anon, have some fun facts:
the fennec fox-yao is the smallest type of fox-yao in the world. With 8 inches tall and weighing 2-3 pounds, it's slightly shorter than the average house cat and a fraction of its weight.
Lives in the desert, can survive for extremely long without water.
The big ears hear everything, AND help them cool down.
Big tunnel diggers. Even their dens have several entrances and exits. Good luck trapping the fennec fox-yao!
Keeps the rodent, locusts and mean sect-leader population at bay. Useful lil predator and deserves a pet - important to make sure that he agrees to the pet.
Can act skittish and easily startled.
They are social beings, but may bite when scared or threatened.
They're nocturnal animals. Managing their high energy levels can be difficult in the late hours. When the fennec fox-yao stays up late with the paperwork, it is generally no reason to worry for their well-being, but letting him sleep in the next morning is advised.
Finally, the fennec fox-yao is monogamous and mates for life.

Some Jin-Ho facts:
-He's a year or two older than Yao
-Has a crush on Yao, therefore is really jealous of the Commander.
-Childhood friends with Yao.
-Doesn't really have an interest in JadeTech and only with the Brotherhood because he wants to help his father in any way he can.
-Met Yao while on a beloved trip to the Grub lane to play with other kids there
-Never been very fond of the rich kid life.
-Loves cats and dogs equally, takes in many of Kaineng's strays
-Got his hands on, hatched and raised his own skyscale, named Jade Bot.
-The fact that he's not into JadeTech is not a secret and Chul-Moo is trying to get him to find his own passion.
-Is very passionate about writing, however he does keep that to himself. The only person who knows he likes writing is, you guessed it, Yao.
-Still visits Yao at Xunlai, albeit never openly. Always sneaks in to his lab or his home.
-Is a Goldclaw fan.

The entire empire was in party mode, as they're celebrating the birthday of their beloved Huangdi. Their celebrations would start from the 10th straight to the 20th!
They would play music, dance, drink liquor and wine, and eat different native delicacies.

As we were saying Yao gege. I got you this little peony plant!
I got one for Xuan gege too.
Yao: how thoughtful! And that reminds me.
Fuying, did Zixuan receive his gift?
Fuying: yep. Successfully.
Su she: what did you get him?
Yao: a peacock brooch, made out of gold, Jade, diamond and sapphires. A pair of crystal bracelets.
Xue yang: hella expensive.
Fuying: Huangdi, Xuan Huangdi had sent you a diamond pendant with a fox and peacock, a bouquet of roses and tea set made out of gold and Jade.
Yao: awww how thoughtful of Zish. He's a sweetheart.
Mo xuanyu: yea!
Su she: *kisses his hand and dimples* happy birthday, my beautiful emperor.
Yao: thank you darling.
Su she: with the help of your staff, I bought new caravans for you. And the Moling Su sect is going to release fireworks for you.
Yao: aww, how cute! I love it. *strokes head*
Su she: we must do this, on such an auspicious day.
Yao: you and your sect are really sweet.
Xue yang: Jiggy *kisses him on his lips, then stuck his tongue in his dimple.

Su she: after he popped out of empress Shi.
Rusong: *laughing* oh gosh.

Xichen: *sigh* yea, lol. I'm getting very accustomed to their randomness.

A-Yao's beloved people came out to wish him. They hugged him, gave him delicate bows and hand kisses, and little trinkets.

Xue yang: how dare Lan lips put Song'er under a spell. He keeps taking for the this lipsy Lan.
Mo xuanyu: keeps saving him from us.

Later in the evening, team D gifted A-Yao with a half naked dage wrapped in ribbons and golden thread and a bow on his head.
Yao: *sits in a long leisurely robe while sipping on some peach blossom wine.
Xue yang: Jiggy! Look what we brought!
Su she: it's not the best of gifts.
Mo xuanyu: do you like!!
Yao: *almost chokes with laughter* TEAM DIMPLE! What have you done.
Mingjue: untie me and return me! You three stooges and your ring leader!
Xue yang: no.
Xichen: dage???
Mingjue: Xichen, I don't want to he here.
Yao: *stood up* ugh this golden robe might trip me, lol. It's not easy being glamorous, but someone has to do it.
*saunters over* awww I love this gift so much. Team d!
Xichen: ahh, well if A-Yao thinks he looks cute, then it's ok.
Mingjue: where did you gremlins putl my clothes!
Mo xuanyu: we left it in Qinghe.
Su she: oh come on. At least you're still wearing pants.
Xue yang: next year you might not have pants at all. So consider yourself lucky.
Yao: *makes his fox tail appear*
Mingjue: oh no.
Yao: *caresses his face* You look so adorable, dage.
Mingjue: *turns away, blushing*
Yao: why are you shy?
Mingjue: maybe because I'm half naked.
Yao: but it makes you look macho. *touches chest*
Mingjue: why did you ask those idiots to kidnap me.
Yao: *corrects* team dimple.
And they have minds of their own. Why would I ask them to do this.
But you do look lovely.
Xichen: *jealous*
Su she: awwww look who's drinking vinegar like their brother.
Xue yang: poor poor lipsy.
Mo xuanyu; we should have kidnapped him instead. Next time lipsy.
Xue yang: never too late. Go present yourself to the hulijing. Heehee.
Xichen: *blushes*
Guys....I'll be back......but how come you're helping me out.
Mo xuanyu: we're doing it for Yao gege. As it's his birthday. Yao gege deserves everything in the world.
Xichen: that's right.
(I'll change into lingerie later, heehee.)
Yao: *cuddling Mingjue*
Mingjue: get away from me!
Yao: do you really want me to leave? Then is your part hard?
Mingjue: I ate oysters! Now shut up.
Yao: heehee.
Mingjue: now what are you going to do to me.
Yao: ah, maybe taste a little bit of your yang energy. And let you go.
It will be very quick, because I have to go to Moling. Shanshan had organized fireworks for me.
Mingjue: why. *rolls eyes*
Yao: because I'm cute!
Yao: now say, happy birthday, A-Yao.
Mingjue: *blushing* happy......birthday.
Yao: *glares, then touches his abs* happy birthday who?
Xue yang: Gosh, Jiggy is so hot.
Mo xuanyu: he always get what he wants.
Su she: he better not displease my Huangdi or I'll chop him up.

Yao: sure. *glares at his attendants. Then they carried him to guest room*
Yao: maybe erase his memory and get him his clothes. When he wakes up, he can leave. I have a date with Huanhuan later.
