Are you wondering if your art has been stolen and illegally used in A.I. image generation models without properly purchasing the legal right to license and use your images in their datasets from you?
Well, there's a website for that.
-Here's an article from ARS TECHNICA about it.-
"In response to controversy over image synthesis models learning from artists' images scraped from the Internet without consent—and potentially replicating their artistic styles—a group of artists has released a new website that allows anyone to see if their artwork has been used to train AI.
The website "Have I Been Trained?" taps into the LAION-5B training data used to train Stable Diffusion and Google's Imagen AI models, among others. To build LAION-5B, bots directed by a group of AI researchers crawled billions of websites, including large repositories of artwork at DeviantArt, ArtStation, Pinterest, Getty Images, and more. Along the way, LAION collected millions of images from artists and copyright holders without consultation, which irritated some artists...." (cont. in article)

I just need to say this rq: people are freaking out about ai like it’s all we’re going to be consuming in the future, but as long as there’s people who want to make art and storys that’s just not going to happen. Ai should be used to inspire human creativity not replace it. So this is your friendly reminder to commission some small artists if you can afford it in these trying times, and I don’t encourage bullying often, but if you see anyone who makes some ai images and calling it their art, then I highly encourage you to bully them of the face of the internet. So basically this is a very elaborate way of saying: fuck the government, fuck people who want to replace artists with ai, and your not going to be irrelevant in the future as long as you fight in for what is right in this shitty era of humanity. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.

"ChatGPT has meltdown and starts sending alarming messages to users
AI system has started speaking nonsense, talking Spanglish without prompting, and worrying users by suggesting it is in the room with them"
:-D
Imagine, there are some people that trust that garbage to... anything?
It's as if they took the Internet-of-Things (...of Shit) actually harmful trend, looked at it and had a long hard think about "how can we possibly do anything more idiotic and harmful to the general public" and then they found it.
