decided to redraw this thing from 2016 because eki's character has gone through. so so so many changes since i first made him in 2015. honestly if you even recognize the name eki you deserve a Dorian Veteran's Discount

in this current incarnation, "eki" is the runaway prince kontekitann, heir to the throne of annoshik. he was set to start his training to become king at age 13 until his father was assassinated, kickstarting a series of events that unravels a myriad of conspiracies surrounding the royal family and its history. im still in the process of rewriting the whole thing bc ive had it in my head since 2020. we will see where that goes

Every now and then i get the urge to babble about Marth over here, but i'm barely holding that brainrot back with a stick (and the stick is androids) so it doesn't Consume Every Waking Thought as it has shown itself to do in the past 3 years.

...that said...the androids – while adoptable and thus you can do whatever and put them in whatever universe you want – definitely have a basis in that universe as far as my approach to them goes. Which is so fun because i inadvertently end up doing micro-worldbuilding with each one's design.

I just watched SAO: Ordinal Scale and honestly I couldn’t stop thinking about this:

Someone needs to use augmented reality glasses/gear to make a fitness based game. Like working out gets you xp and levels you up powerwise in game (and different types of exercises increases different skill stats) and when in your base (your home or a park or something) you can access a dungeon to fight. The prizes for it could be coupons or discounts for companies that fund it. If you die in a dungeon you have a cooldown timer before you can enter one again. You can craft weapons in game and win/find materials and gear for the dungeons. It encourages you to learn new skills and might even have baseline tutorials for wielding weapons (satisfy your curiosity and get you on the way to learning how to use them irl). Like an augmented reality version of Duolingo but instead of languages it’s for learning to fight and it keeps you active/healthy!

I would buy the shit out of this, I would play the shit out of this. Especially if it has realistic graphics. I’m sad it’s not exactly a thing yet but I feel we are very close tech-wise! It would get a lot of people to be more physically active for sure, especially if the rewards were usable irl!
