Memory
They thought their memory had been wiped, but no, the hero remembered everything. They remembered things that they had forgotten. In fact, since the incident, their memory had gotten better.
But villain didn't know that. They also didn't need to know that. Hero liked how happy they had been once hero had woken up, confused and slightly dizzy.
At that time, they had truly forgotten everything. But an hour or so later they remembered everything again.
But the villain didn't know. They kept thinking that the hero had forgotten. They kept doing the dishes, humming along to the song in the ad on TV.
Villain wasn't doing anything illegal anymore. Ever since then, they had stopped. Stopped to live with hero.
The hero didn't mind. What they did mind was the fact that they couldn't keep lying. They knew that they'd slip up eventually, either accidentally or because they couldn't handle the guilt.
But right now, they wanted to stay in the cozy apartment, eating villains delicious but very salty soup and cuddle them on the couch until one or both of them fell asleep.
They were scared, of course. What if the villain would be mad if they found out? Would they even be mad, or would they be disappointed? Would they turn back to villainy?
Hero shook their head. None of that now. They would tell villain soon, they just needed some time to prepare themselves and -in a way- also prepare villain for the conversation.
They snuck up behind the former criminal, who was stirring the soup while slight swinging to the tunes on the TV ads. They slung their arms around there hips, placing their head on the villains shoulder, closing their eyes. "Don't oversalt it."
Villain only huffed in fake annoyance. They turned their head and pressed a light kiss to the heros cheek, whispering: "cook yourself then."

Bella’s heart raced. She doesn’t know why but he seemed familiar to her as if she has seen him before. Was he a celebrity?
The man slowly and leisurely crossed the distance between them. He went very close that their bodies touched. Instantly, Bella felt suffocated, but could only stand rigid in her place. With one long finger, he flipped a strand of hair that had stuck to her forehead. His brown eyes squinted at her. His skimming, smoldering gaze seemed to be stinging her exposed skin, boring holes to places he set them. Although she was wearing clothes, she felt naked.
Bella: (Who is this guy? Why does he come so close to me, but I do not feel threatened or afraid?) No thanks. I live a few blocks away from here. Its ok.
The rain suddenly pours even heavier, forcing both of them to huddle to the corner.
Bella: I’ll wait it out. Thanks.
Sang-Woo: Then I’ll wait it out with you. It's dangerous for a lady to be alone in these wee hours. I have nowhere else to go anyway.
