hello! :3 i'm not sure how to fit this into a drabble, so i did headcanons about how Levi would have reacted to you being pregnant or having a child during these various points in time!

Dadvi Canonverse Headcanons | 2K Follower Event

ACWNR:

➼ Once it turns out that you're pregnant with his child, Levi hauls ass to get the two of you out of the Underground. He picks up shady jobs for the extra money (assassin!levi au anyone?) in the hopes that he can make enough to get you surface residency as soon as possible. ➼ With how uncleanly the Underground was, Levi would be very wary of where you were going. While he was never a fan of dirt and grime and it bugs him to no end to have it around, he was much more concerned about you potentially getting sick and putting further strain on your body that was already hosting a baby. ➼ With him picking up shadier jobs, things got more chaotic and he became more and more worried that he'd take a job he couldn't come back from. As a result, he'd spend every night with you in his arms, his hand over your belly, with him chatting to your unborn child, wanting to savor every moment that he could steal with you. ➼ If he was unfortunate and couldn't make enough money, he'd begin to have to plan on how to raise your kid in a hostile environment in a way that best avoided the type of childhood that the two of you had. ➼ Your pregnancy is one of the reasons why he jumped up so quickly at the opportunity to earn surface residency when he's recruited to assassinate Erwin. He knew he didn't have much of a choice when it came to taking the job, but having you and your unborn child as an extra incentive made him that much more motivated.

Season 1:

➼ Especially with how dangerous expeditions were, he would always go out of his way to visit you and your child regularly after expeditions. He'd be home whenever he could be, just because tomorrow was never guaranteed. ➼ If you're a Scout, he'll try to work with you to get you put on duties that you'd be able to do while pregnant that wouldn't put you or the unborn baby in too much danger. Unfortunately, that meant you weren't going outside the Walls with him anymore. ➼ When he hears that the Wall had been breached, he internally panics. He had promised to keep you in the Walls to keep you safe, yet even the safety of the Walls was compromised. The first thing he does after clearing out the Titans in Trost was to search for you and your child. ➼ Levi's a complete mess when he comes home to you after the Female Titan incident. His entire squad and a significant amount of the Scouts had died on this mission. Being around you and being able to hear you and your child's voice made it just a tad bit more bearable. You were the safe space that he needed to be able to process everything that had happened.

Season 2:

➼ As if to make up for lost time, Levi was able to spend much more time with you because of his leg injury. He hated not being able to do anything to help out with the Survey Corps, but he was also glad to be able to spend time with you and your kid without having to feel pressed for time. ➼ This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but Levi's the perfect house husband. He's great in caring for you while you were pregnant, especially since he had to be home due to his injury anyway. He's even better with caring for your newborn baby so you could occasionally rest. ➼ When he heard about the Wall getting breached again, he seriously began considering if he could fenagle a way to move you to the Interior. Of course, the idea of hiding didn't sit right with you, but you bet he's annoyed as fuck when you provided resistance. All he wanted to do was to keep you and your child safe, and things looked like they were falling apart left and right.

Season 3:

➼ Levi is writing you letters the entire time when he's on the run from the Interior Police. He couldn't visit you, and even sending you letters was risky. If you were pregnant, he would make sure that there was someone to help you out so you weren't just suddenly left on your own. ➼ Once Historia is crowned as Queen and he's able to return, he immediately goes back home to you, spending much time needed with you and your child since he's been gone for a while. If you were pregnant when he left and gave birth while he was gone, he'd be super harsh on himself about it even though there wasn't anything he could've done with the way that events played out. He'd overcompensate with the acts of service to try to make up for what he missed. ➼ He immediately falls into your arms after he returns from Shiganshina. If your kid was there to see him, he'd pull them in too. He didn't bother hiding it because you both believed in being honest with your kids about emotions and vulnerability. ➼ Once the Titans have been cleared, he takes you and your kid outside the Walls to visit the beach, trying to answer questions as best as he could as your child bombarded him with questions about humanity existing outside the Walls.

Season 4:

➼ After his initial trip to Liberio, he'd take you and your kid to visit, just to explore the wonders of civilization outside the Walls. It was nice to come here as an actual vacation instead of under the pretense of war. ➼ It absolutely breaks his heart when he sees the pained look in your eyes after he tells you that he was to leave you for a while to go into the forest to watch over Zeke. This was the last time you saw him until after the war was over. ➼ Since you're separated, he starts writing you letters again, sometimes sending back a flower or piece of nature that reminded him of you. He took immense comfort in the letters that you'd write back, bringing that subtle hint of your scent. He could almost hear you say the words and it helps him throughout his long days waiting for news that would never come. ➼ When the letters suddenly stop, and the Rumbling began shortly after, you began to panic. If it wasn't for your kid, you'd drop everything to find him, especially with the assumption that he must have died if Zeke was able to escape. ➼ When you see him again at the end of the War, you were both horrified and relieved. You were relieved because he was alive after everyone kept telling you that he was dead, but also horrified when you saw everything that he had gone through.

Post-War:

➼ If you get pregnant post-war, Levi does everything he can to find a good place to live with easy access to care to make sure everything goes smoothly. ➼ He's a little frustrated with himself at first, since he can't help you with the baby or kid in the same capacity that he would have been able to prior to his injuries, but the two of you adjust, and he figures out alternative ways to help. (brb currently crying over imagining Levi bottle feeding your baby from his wheelchair) ➼ Levi really likes going around town with you pushing him in his wheelchair as he's holding onto your toddler. It was good quality time, chatting with you as you walked him, and playing with your toddler that was essentially the split image of him. ➼ You bet that your child is absolutely fascinated with Levi's scars and is constantly asking for stories about the war. Levi was like a hero to them and they were completely enthralled by the fact that he was such an important participant in the war. ➼ He'd occasionally take you and your kid to Paradis Island just to visit and maybe show your kid memorable areas, like where the two of you got married or ran into each other for the first time.

Dragons Rising Season 2, Episode 3: Beyond the Phantasm Cave

We are baaaack!! Honestly, I like spreading out my rewatch because I binged all 10 in one sitting. Spreading out my rewatch makes the excitement last longer. Not that I'm running out of excitement. I will never get over this season and it's not even done AGH. ANYWAY. On to the episode!

I don't know how I feel about the Cloud Kingdom having a motor buuuut okay.

They really decided that this was the episode to upload clips from.

I love this moment because it addresses that Lloyd is doubting himself, it acknowledges that Lloyd and Nya have been through way too much stuff, and it shows us that Lloyd does not want to put Arin and Sora through something horrific. He doesn't want them to experience "the horrors" too young like he did.

Kai being mad that Wyldfyre stowed away but not in like an angry way but in a "I don't want you getting hurt" way is just sooooo.

Sora is so right to be concerned. I would be too if I were her.

I get what Sora was trying to do with the grappling hooks, but I also feel like this isn't going to bode well for Arin. She made his thing something "cooler" because their elemental powers are involved.

Arin: Fear of letting his parents down. Guilt that he "replaced" them with the ninja.

Nya: Jay not remembering her.

Wyldfyre: The wasting thing that's talked about later.

KAI: WE DON'T FREAKING GET TO SEE IT. LET US SEE IT.

I feel like we just need to remember all of their fears because it's absolutely going to be important to all of them later.

GRRR THIS EPISODE IS AMAZING.

I think we didn't see Kai's vision because they're going to bring it back later. I know some people are saying that it was of a corrupted version of himself, and honestly, I'd say that's a very likely assumption, given his history. He used to have a lust for power, and maybe he still does, it's just more subdued. If anything were to happen to him (pretend we haven't seen ep10 yet), he could likely succumb to that temptation for power.

ALSO I'm such a Lloyd "life" truther, so learning that it was the LIFE DRAGON who claimed him?!??!? Yes. I'm so excited to expand more on that.

Well, that was certainly an ending to a season.

I can tell what inspired the Hageman Brothers for the ending of Rise of the Titans (2021). It’s pretty much the same ending beat for beat.

I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't that.

I really don't have too many thoughts on the finale, it's mostly just "at least this was the ending to the season, and not an entire series". Was it the best? No. Was it the worst? No. Just meh.

Had I seen this 2 or 3 years ago, I might have felt differently, but RotT really did a number on me. (If you haven't seen any of the Tales of Arcadia series, please consider yourself lucky. It started off very well but ended Badly.)

I'm glad the the sky pirates turned out to be pretty ok in the end. I really grew to actually like them. I'm going to be sad if they don't show up again.

And Echo! Oh, gosh Echo. Sweet baby boy. I loved the little bit of time we got with him. I hope he comes back again.

I haven't looked to see what the next season will be called yet, but I'm hoping we learn more about the previous Elemental Masters. We've been getting a little bit here and there, but it feel like there's more to their story than we've been told so far.

Tomorrow, I'll be watching the Day of the Departed, and maybe the Wu's Teas shorts, if I can find those. Until tomorrow!

Below the cut are the predictions I got right and wrong.

Correct

The ninja will be caught at some point by the po-po. And get thrown in a jail cell with one bed.

Nadakhan will pick them off one by one.

The wedding is inevitable. It sure was something.

Mutiny from the crew. Better late than never.

Jay will recruit Echo Zane to help him rescue everyone. He did and he got more friends.

I'm going to cry bc of the wedding thing and everything surrounding that. I cry at things very easily, so this wasn't really a surprise on my end.

Incorrect

Cole will get cured of being a ghost this season. He sure didn't.

Pixal will get a new body. RIP queen.

Nadakhan is going to use Wu to draw out the ninja and make them retrieve the Realm Crystal. This is such a great AU idea.

Going The Mummy (1959 & 1999) route to raise a loved one from the dead -- to bring back Delara. She was brought back via wish, not an entire sacrificial ceremony.

Nadakhan will be trapped in the sword once he's defeated. *disappointed noises*

Flintlocke had a thing for Delara. I'm actually surprised that this wasn't a little subplot. It actually felt like something they would have done.

Jay will be forced to help piece Djinjago together. There were other plans.

Cole, Nya, and Lloyd are going to spend the whole episode planning on how to save Jay. The used that time to try to leave the island. I completely forgot that was something they needed to do in order to even start planning for a rescue mission.

Ronin will help in the rescue mission for Jay. He really didn't.

Jay knowing the ins and outs of the Keep will help them navigate their rescue mission. Yeah. He did all that cleaning for nothing.

Flintlocke swiped the poison and the dart from Clancee. Clancee told Jay where he hid it.

Partially

No one from the Cursed Realm will come back. Sort of? Clouse wasn't in the Cursed Realm when it collapsed, but he was a resident there for a while.

They won't lock Misako up. The didn't even get a chance to finish questioning her before she was kidnapped by Nadakhan.

Kai will be needed to collect the Tiger Widow Venom, and without him the team will struggle. They did struggle without him, but I'm not sure how much help he would have been given the circumstances.

We're going to learn how Jay lost his eye. Sort of? But not really.

Crosshair Misconceptions!

Seeing as we seem to be getting some new Crosshair fans in the fandom, let's quickly run through some of the things people get wrong about his character!

1. He's heartless and evil.

Nope! An asshole? Definitely! Heartless? Absolutely not. He says a lot of things to purposefully piss people off ("besides... he's just another reg") but he doesn't truly mean half the shit he says. You can dislike him because he's a prick, but he's not straight up heartless or evil.

2. He enjoys/enjoyed working for the Empire!

Once again, nope! Crosshair didn't enjoy what he did for the Empire. He was traumatised and didn't feel like he had a choice. "We do what needs to be done." It's about following orders. Crosshair can't imagine a life outside of being a solider and sometimes being a solider means putting the mission before anything else. Crosshair did what he was told to do, and yes, a criticism can be made for what those actions entailed, but to say he enjoyed them is incorrect.

3. His change of character in Ep 12 The Outpost was sudden and unpredictable.

We've been predicting that this would happen since season 1! Sure, we didn't necessarily know how or when it was going to happen, but we knew it was coming. It wasn't just because we wanted it, there was evidence there. This links back to the "evil and heartless" thing. Crosshair's moments of emotion are what let us know that there's a part of him in there that isn't happy with his choices and those are little bits that feed into his change.

I've said before that a redemption/recovery arc for Crosshair couldn't happen without Crosshair accepting who he is and the choices he's made, as well as him acknowledging the fact that while not everything was his fault, he still needs to work on himself. I also said that that realisation would most likely happen when he hit rock bottom. Which happens in this episode.

It wasn't a sudden change. This change was a long time coming and Crosshair finally snapped.

These are the main three misconceptions that I see surrounding Crosshair that I wanted to clear up. I'm very happy to see people appreciating this character more but there're still a lot of misunderstandings surrounding him that I hope will dissipate over time.

Saying that, I also don't want to say that you're a bad person if you don't like Crosshair. There are plenty of reasons to dislike him, but dislike him for the right reasons!

And there will always be subjectivity to what he needs to do to be "redeemed". The vast majority of Crosshair fans are fully open to acknowledging that his actions were wrong, we're not trying to claim he's completely blameless, but the level of things he needs to do to be considered "redeemed" is going to be different for each person. And for some people, he just can't be; for them, the things that he's done can never be forgiven and he can never be redeemed. And that's okay! This element of his character will always be subjective. But like I said, if you're gonna dislike Crosshair, dislike him for the right reasons. :)

you grumbled some variation of this under your breath for several minutes straight while preparing the flight out to dantooine

and obi agrees

the two of you are being sent on a long-term operative mission. there's no daily wars or hard combat to face—it was more of a stakeout of sorts—but still, you had to stay alert. just in case

you were mainly upset at the fact that you couldn't relax in your quarters or with your family for the holidays

obi-wan, sensing your blues, decides that he's not going to let that ruin the festivities

you're staying in a quaint little home for the next few weeks. it's plainly, but relatively tidy

"there's a life day market in town! we can pick some food up there, and decorations, if you're up for it" obi had suggested, so that's what you end up doing

while at the market, which is bustling with people from all over the galaxy (you later find out that dantooine's life day market is one of the biggest there is), the two of you are mistaken for a married couple

but hey, the status gets you several discounts on fresh fruit

even after you leave the produce booth, he keeps his hand interlocked with yours

(and you like it. though you'd die before admitting it lol)

you haul several giant bags and baskets of supplies back to your place

(correction, obi-wan does most of the heavy lifting. you're only carrying the tree decorations so you look like a tangled bundle of color that has no start or end)

it takes you everything you have not to stare at how his arms flex when he moves things

you didn't realize obi had a creative side to himself, so when you let him take charge of decorating, you didn't know what to expect

but once the two of you finish decorating you're pretty amazed

the tree glitters with woven string lights and ornaments that look like stars plucked straight from the heavens, shining in hues of rose gold and ivory white

"it's so beautiful," you exhaled

"indeed, it is," obi-wan replied, but he wasn't even looking at the light fixtures (he was looking at you instead)

you're about to unpack the groceries and start cooking but he stops you in your tracks, placing his hands on your shoulders and giving them a gentle squeeze

"let me handle this, darling. i insist," he says—and you can feel your face growing warm at the term of endearment

so you sit down by the fireplace with a blanket around your shoulders and watch as he carefully cuts up the starfruit and places it in a porcelain bowl, dices the meat and vegetables, and pours hot chocolate (you made a mental note to ask him later which booth that was from) into two mugs

for a moment you get completely lost in the idea of living a peaceful, domestic life with him. one where you wake up every morning to the fresh smell of coffee and berries and are greeted with a tight embrace

but you're brought back to reality with the reminder that technically, you're on a mission right now, and you're both jedi

so no amount of wishing and praying will make any bit of that domestic life come true

"you've been so quiet," he suddenly speaks up

"just...tired," you reply, and it's the truth. the entire flight over, you didn't sleep a wink—you always had trouble falling asleep

he decides not to question you further—he knows what's bothering you; he always does

dinner is amazing as always—you're good at cooking, too, but your skills pale in comparison to what obi has

after you eat, you sit down by the fireplace, wrapped up in several thick blankets with steaming hot chocolate in hand

"how long has it been since you last saw your family?" he asks

"seven years," you say. "we write letters to each other, but you know, given my schedule, it's hard to pay them a visit. i hardly see them anymore..."

"i can be your family, then," he offers with a sad smile

and you feel your heartbeat pick up speed just a little

not because you're secretly in love with him...of course not lmao

but because he's always been here for you and continues to be

you lean against him and close your eyes and just. take him in

like. how does this man smell so good...

it's as if he bathed in every warm and comforting scent you could think of

and you can almost pretend that you're right back home in the arms of the one you love, and not millions of miles away on a foreign moon

(jokes on you, he is your new home)

you're not sure how long you stay cuddled up like that for, but you wouldn't mind if it lasted for the entirety of your mission

"you know i love you," he says quietly after he thinks you've fallen asleep, and he gently kisses your forehead

but you manage to whisper back an "i love you too" before drifting off

obi-wan finally feels at peace

Ahhh man that is so much pressure! Inventing a whole new AU!

Okay, this is almost certainly not a new AU concept but! One I do not see enough of!

Your blorbos are a Gate Team out of Stargate Command. You get to decide which ones are military or civilians or aliens, what their specialties are, and which one keeps dying and being resurrected, and they go have weird hijinks on alien planets that all look pretty much like the outskirts of Vancouver, featuring populations of humans transplanted by ancient alien/gods!

So for instance if I was gonna do a Sandman Stargate AU

(I'm not!)

Hob is the anti-Dr. Jackson--he seems to die on a very regular basis but he's never actually dead. If you think he got killed on an alien planet you need to go back and look for him again because he will be there! Not at all dead!

Dream is some sort of civilian expert--an anthropologist specializing in common narratives and the way stories show relationships between societies--who somehow got recruited from the UK and displays a constant vague distaste for all the military everything and all the violence right up until the chips are really down and then he reveals himself to be terrifyingly badass actually

(he just dies the once.)

In season 3 it's revealed that Dream's younger brother was a mililtary member of a Gate team who disappeared under hushed-up circumstances and that's actually why Dream got himself into the program, to find out what happened to him--and it turns out he went AWOL voluntarily and is living very happily on an alien planet somewhere, but a lot of people get killed in the string of missions that lead to them finding that out, and he refuses to come back and relocates to a different planet as soon as they're gone so he can never be found again)

In the pilot episode Matthew's there as a military intelligence type guy on their gate team--the obligatory American to Hob and Dream and Jo's Brits--and then he gets killed but Dream figures out how to use a weird alien artifact to save him, except he gets transferred into an alien bird's body instead of it fixing his own body

Jo is British Army, from a long line of family members who have died in military service, usually doing something really weird and secret

her dad was on an early gate team, maybe even the first one--the one from the movie, that went to Abydos and fought Ra and thought that that was the only destination the gate could go to. He was killed there, and Jo wasn't told what really happened to him, but she knew it was something other than what they told her--and she was vindicated when she was recruited into the Stargate program by somebody who was with him on that last mission.

(Her dad was also an asshole, this is not like a touching vindication of him as a hero, he was a complete dick and a terrible dad and probably would have been an even worse one if he hadn't died, but that didn't mean Jo wasn't going to find out the truth and follow in his footsteps.)

Episodes 2-5 include a tragicomic subplot about Matthew's plight as a dead human and live alien bird and whether he's allowed to still be on the team or is just going to be a mascot in the SGC, and meanwhile a new charming blond American guy is temporarily assigned to Hob and Dream and Jo's team, and it's when Corin reveals he's an alien plant and tries to murder Dream that you first see Dream really turn on his badassery

after that they get young Lt. Rose Walker as their obligatory American for the rest of the series. Matthew is also on the team but they prefer to field four people who can all do stuff requiring thumbs.

Arcana Twilight Newbie Guide

NOTE: The things I'll write here are not from my experience. I'm purely compiling tips I've searched in the internet so it could help me (and probably you) in the game. Think of it as my game notes or something like that.

You get a free 10-pull in the tutorial. There's a chance for you to get SSR card from it, which is the current highest rarity card in game. It is advised to reroll your account if you didn't get any SSR card from that 10-pull.

Finish the tutorial and do the 10-pull, if you got the SSR card of the character you like, you could stop here.

All about SSR cards

Collecting SSR card is the endgame goal to have. SR cards could work for early game, but would need to be replaced once harder content comes in game.

There are two types of cards needed to create a team - sorcerer cards and wish cards. Sorcerer cards can be obtained from Constellation room in Scout, while Wish cards from Wish room. Constellation room and Wish room are considered standard banners in game.

NOTE: You can't have 2 cards (be it sorcerer cards or wish cards) of the same character in 1 team. You need to have varying characters for each attribute.

There are several ways to get SSR cards:

a. Pull from Constellation and Wish rooms with crystals or magic tickets. (Scout > Constellation/Wish)

b. Pull in Possession Room with 27000 gold. This gives at least 1 SSR card shard per 10-pull (not guaranteed tho). (Scout > Possession)

c. You could grind the SSR card shards in hard stages. The hard stage is called "Twilight mode" in game. (But the catch here is that the shard drop rate is too low. One player tried to grind for one Alpheratz SSR card but it took her 7 months to complete it.)

d. Buying the SSR card shards from shop using 15 or 135 unicorns. (Shop > Exchange shop > Piece of card)

e. Pull from limited event banners with crystals or magic tickets. SSR card shard pity varies according to event banner (e.g. 200, 250, and 300 are the pities from previous event banners). The pity or total summons could be seen in "View Details" button above the "Scout 10 times" button.

** It is advised to save up the crystals for the limited-time event banners.

f. Buying the SSR card shards from the Seasonal Event Shop (Shop > Seasonal Event Exchange Shop > Card Piece). To obtain the currency for this limited-time shop, you must complete the "Seasonal Event Missions".

** One card shard costs 60 event currency each, which means you need 3600 event currency in total. But currently, there is only a total of 2280 event currency in the Seasonal Event Missions, which means you can't buy all 60 shards...

** I can't find more info about the details on event banners. Might update this part later on when I actually experience how the event is done in this game.

NOTE: You need 60 shards and 40,000 gold to form a single SSR card.

Summon of Sorcerer (SOS)

Every time you manual battle the stage, a character would appear in SOS after the battle, regardless if you 3-star or 2-star the stage, and if you got their touch interactions right, you'll get either 1000 gold or 10 MP. There is no cap with the SOS rewards.

Preferred touch actions after battles (SOS):

Alpheratz: Ignore three times

Arcturus and Pollux: Stroke head/face three times

Sirius, Spica, and Vega: tap shoulder three times

There are several ways to obtain gift items for characters during SOS:

can be bought in Contell shop, but availability is random, costs 12,000 gold

can be bought in Shop > Items > Present, costs either 30 or 270 gems

can be bought in Shop > Exchange shop > Present, costs unicorns

by unlocking the first gift node of SSR and SR wish card

by pulling in Possession room in Scout

All about Crystals/Gems

Crystals are premium currency used in game and can be bought using real money.

From one-time crystal sources [free]:

Main story normal mode and twilight mode. Each battle stage gives 50 crystals.

Missions > Sorcerer Mission

Missions > Beginners Event

From recurring gem sources [free]:

Mission > Daily Mission (50 crystals daily)

From Arcana Club [paid]: (Shop > Arcana Club)

2750 crystals when you buy it

total of 2250 crystals over the course of 28 days

NOTE: All R sorcerer cards have first 2 gift space in Milky Way that rewards crystals (70 crystals in total). Worth upgrading those nodes.

All about Magic Tickets

Magic Tickets are used to pull in Constellation and Wish rooms. These can also be used in limited-time event banners.

Buy the discounted 10 magic tickets in shop. A 10-pull costs 2700 gems in Scout, but it is only 2220 gems in Shop. Refreshes every month. (Shop > Items > Scout)

NOTE: All SSR and R Wish cards have magic ticket as the last gift space in Milky Way. Worth upgrading those nodes.

All about Gold

Gold is used to upgrade card levels, to unlock nodes in Milky Way, to buy items in Contell shop, and to pull in Possession Room in Scout.

Different ways to obtain gold:

doing the highest floor stages in battle x3 you have unlocked and opting to watch ad to double the reward

doing the highest floor stages in manual battle for a chance to get 1000 gold from SOS

sending the characters in "Visit"

watching ads from "FREE! +2000 Gold" button

watching ads to make Visits quicker (1 ad = 10 min reduced) and doubling the rewards

watching ads in Contell Shop, but the availability is random

All about Unicorn

Unicorn is used to exchange items in the Exchange shop. (Shop > Exchange)

Different ways to obtain unicorn:

You could get unicorn by pulling in Possession room with 27000 gold. Doing daily 10-pull can give you SSR card shards and levels up the SR, R, and N cards in your roster. Once you have maxed out the skill level of SR, R, and N cards, when you pull those same cards again, it would convert it into unicorn.

Another source of unicorn is from gift nodes in Milky Way of SSR and SR cards, not R cards.

All about Keys

Keys are used for unlocking premium chats and messages.

Ways to obtain keys:

unlocking the level cap nodes of sorcerer and wish cards, any rarity works

giving a gift to a sorcerer during SOS for daily mission

first gift node of N wish card

second to last box on SSR wish card gives 2 keys

All about Milky Way materials

Milky way materials are the items needed to unlock the nodes in Milky Way.

Several ways to obtain the said materials:

by farming the normal mode and twilight mode stages that drops the needed materials

by watching ads and buying with gold in Contell Shop

by sending the sorcerers in Visit

Miscellaneous information

"1 star picking from Milky Way" in Beginners Event in Mission means unlocking the last node in Milky Way. The purple node with star and has "picking star" subtext.

In Constellations and Wish tabs under Scout, if you look at "View details", you'll see the Scout completion reward. By clicking on "Reward Renewal", you could refresh the summon rewards if you don't like the card rewards without losing your progress. Even after passing the rewards you don't have to claim the pieces right away, you can still change it, but you won't be able to claim the next reward marker until you claim the first one. Refresh is free every 24 hours.

You can get gifts up to 3 times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at certain times. For more info, you could check it out here.

SR wish cards give amplifier stones in gift nodes.

All about Main Story Affection Gain

An otome game player and blogger named Nakimushi has compiled a list of chapter dialogue options that give affection gain on sorcerers. Link for Chapter 1 (Part 1) can be found here. The other chapters can be found in a link in the sources below.

All about Card Mechanic

It is worth noting that some card skills have faster charging time (i.e. decode, shield deployment, and skill power up). Use these kinds of cards because the enemy could freeze, put you to sleep, or drain your skill gauge. The card mechanic is further explained here.

All about MP

MP is used to do battle stage. Without it, you can't really do anything in the game, besides watching ads while waiting for MP to replenish. It takes about 5-minutes for 1 MP to regenerate.

There are other sources of MP as well if you are in a pinch:

SR sorcerer cards give 100 MP in the first gift node.

You get occasional 50 MP in mail, but it depends on weekend event.

Doing the battle stage manually and getting the SOS interactions right could give you 10 MP.

1. the character everyone gets wrong

Faragonda. People either think that she's secretly a villain or that she's a meek, old grandma. The villain part is really annoying because people act like Faragonda sending the Winx on life-threatening missions is a writing choice made in regards to showing her character when it's a writing choice made for the sake of plot. The writers don't care how Faragonda comes off if they can get their little plot with getting the Winx to save the day work. It's true about everything. How come she spies on the Winx but never does it when they actually need help and she could save them but at the cost of interfering with the plot? Her seemingly keeping the Agador box (4x01) is just the writers being lazy with coming up with a new design for something that will be on screen for 10 seconds. Honestly, name one of her "shady" actions that cannot be explained as a plot convenience. The other side of the spectrum is honestly just... Are you blind? She clearly has a lot more backbone than people realize, yet when that's noticed, it somehow makes her a villain. I am tired.

Somebody implying that Daphne is at fault for getting killed by the Ancestral Witches because she chose to sacrifice herself for Bloom and she could have just let her baby sister get murdered if she'd wanted to save herself. What even???????? *flips table*

I block over too many wrong opinions or just a few opinions that are Very Wrong TM. So it's usually that. I don't try to remember what exactly made me mad.

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?

Roxy, kind of. I don't hate her but every time I see someone whining about her not being part of the later seasons and bemoaning the fact that she was supposed to be the seventh Winx but then dissapeared, I start to hate her... until I distance myself from that part of fandom. I think Roxy has much potential in her quality of being a foil to Bloom, someone with a very similar backstory but completely different feelings on magic and being a fairy. However, the writers are so hellbent on making her Bloom 2.0 that they completely ignore the differences between the two that they themselves wrote in and the fandom just makes all of that worse when they try to shove Roxy everywhere and force her into the same mold that the Winx fit into. Roxy should have gotten to decide for herself and instead of going to Alfea should have stayed at home with her long-lost mother. Morgana was literally the queen of the Earth fairies. I bet she could have taught Roxy everything she'd learn at Alfea and more, considering that Earth seems to have a different branch of magic altogether that probably differs from the curriculum at Alfea. Plus, that way she could have spent some time with the mother that is a stranger to her and she could have found her own path instead of being forced into something she clearly didn't want just to be like the Winx and, more importantly, Bloom.

8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

The idea that SotLK is a better movie than Magical Adventure. The way that Bloom makes headway in her search for her parents is so fucking random. We never learn how the Winx found Hagen, the English dub cut the part where Daphne explains why she now thinks that the Roc might have survived when, for 20 years, she believed it to have been destroyed, and the Book of Fate is the literal fucking worst plot device ever. It straight up tells them that Marion and Oritel are in Obsidian. Don't even get me started on the whole mess that happens once they get there or the search for the key to Obsidian. And the theme - if it can even be called that - is a joke.

Magical Adventure suffers from the fact that the scenes have to be in a certain sequence to make sense and keep the suspense but that sequence makes the story feel like two movies mashed into one. However, the two segments are not bad at all. Sure, there are things that don't work (ugh, that montage with the suitors - what were they thinking?!?!?!). But the movie tries to focus on Bloom's relationship with her birth parents, which the first movie completely skipped over. Bloom and Sky are actually somewhat likable. We see the Winx without magic which hasn't happened since when? Season 1? The Ancestral Witches are actually scary when they possess the Trix and the fights are interesting and creative. Plus, there is a coherent theme about how parents' actions affect their children (there was another nuance here that I can't remember now because it's been a while since I watched it).

Anyway, Magical Adventure supremacy.

9. worst part of canon

I already talked about all the bullshit in SotLK and besides I really hate what they did with Zenith. The source of most technological advancements and, of course, they made the whole society be logic-based and emotionless. I. Cannot. Stand. It! They should have made Zenith's technology come from a place of empathy, of wanting to improve life so much for everyone that they become too focused on their work and don't notice how they isolate themselves from everyone else, including each other. It would have been so much more interesting and they could have kept Tecna as a logic-driven person, who's not good with feelings because that's just who she is. She'd fit even better with Winx if she comes from a planet so dedicated to helping everyone else that they neglect themselves and their emotions.

10. worst part of fanon

Blorboifying Valtor. I'm sorry but if you think you want a real-life Valtor, you need to go outside and touch grass. Not to mention that Valtor stans in general seem to have a very distorted view of him. This man has the temper and anger management of a fucking toddler. The only reason why he manages to remain collected and calm a lot of the time is because pretty much no one can stand up to him and pose a threat to his plans and his ego. At the same time somehow people completely miss the fact that he's vain and self-centered and clinging so desperately to his charisma and skills because he knows that deep down he is nothing more than a monster that was created to be a tool for the Ancestral Witches and he hates that. He's practically in constant denial mode about how truly sad his existence is.

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

Krystal! She's already at a disadvantage because she's introduced in season 5 AND is instantly shoved in the bullshit drama between Helia and Flora. I have seen people hate on her and call her a shady bitch when all she's done is be overexcited about seeing Helia and managing to defeat the Winx at volleyball and then realizing that maybe the situation came off wrong to Flora and trying to talk to her and tell her that Helia only loves her and he and Krystal are just friends. She's just an excitable teen and she's not at fault for Helia acting weird as fuck and introducing Flora to her as his "friend" as if they haven't been dating for 3 years. Smh. #JusticeForKrystal2kforever

14. that one thing you see in fics all the time

Giving alien features to the girls. Like, I get it but it's always surface level because in the end it's so much easier to work with humanoid characters that you don't have to invent a whole new biology for. It seems completely pointless and usually doesn't come into play a lot. It feels like it's added more for diversity points rather than because it's fun or interesting.

16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

Making Flora a drug dealer. The "Flora does recreational drugs" take honestly feels like people are desperately trying to make her interesting because they don't like her as she's portrayed on the show. And the idea of "Flora is okay with parts of nature that are dangerous and volatile" somehow always seems to lead to "give Flora a gun" when the two have nothing to do with each other. Flora wanting to protect all nature as it is is one of her defining traits. It feels like people are trying to erase her gentleness because they think that a mild-mannered character is worthless. Honestly, the show doesn't help. They make her empathy come down to "don't hurt it" even when the "it" in question is trying to kill her friends. They could have improved on that by letting Flora specialize in restraining spells that don't hurt the creature they're used on so that she can protect her friends and stick to her beliefs.

22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores

The Company of Light. Even the writers ignore it because a) they did not think it through when they added that backstory and created several plot holes, b) they never did anything with it (for the last time - where's the fucking spin-off?!?!?!?!) and c) they constantly make all of the Company members appear incompetent and weaker than they are for the sake of the plot and letting the Winx in the spotlight. Give these people screen time! They are interesting and important! *cries*

to <3 anon, I was gonna say definitely play the event since you have the cheat cards, but playing through the battles can be time consuming the first time around if your team isn't built. Since you'd have to play everything one by one at least once (I'm so used to skipping the battles ajsjd). Once you get through everything once with an A or S rank (can't remember which), you can quick clear (and then you can collect AP/joker cards/other things to save up for when you're ready). You could also skip the story parts if you're worried about spoilers?

I am someone who plays both, and I can tell you it's wild. I'm stuck on OG around lesson 60, I need to build my cards more, but I'm completely caught up in NB and have full teams that are all 98+ level wise. I log in on both apps to do daily tasks every day

I do both events simultaneously, log in to collect the AP at both times (NB is priority because it loads faster), but I just quick clear the battles every night to get the prizes. NB is the one where I'll try to use up all my AP before work so that when I get home, it's fully replenished.

I love OG to death, present Mammon would have to be ripped from my hands, and I love how much more of his character we get to see in NB. But it is a little frustrating and discouraging when I can't get past battles in OG. I've been playing NB since day one, even without finishing OG, all because I didn't want to get "left behind". I've got so much uhh fomo (?) from past Mammon cards that I never had a chance to get in OG. Which has now turned into me having every single Mammon card in NB... 💀 Even memory cards that feature him (except HDD .5 charge mission memory card, I was broke at the time)

I am dedicated to this man 😭 anyway sorry that got kinda sad at the end. I have my reasons for loving both games, and OM Mammon will always have a chokehold on me. I'm gonna be old one day and using a cane that's probably yellow because it reminds me of him 💀 It's silly things like that that get me through the day, I even have a photo card of him in my wallet 😗

also apparently my store made 10k over predicted sales on Sunday. I don't know what the prediction was originally, but jesus 😭 there's been lots of wild customers and things going wrong, but I am still kicking. I run solely on caffeine and spite !!

Oh gosh, I am used to skipping the battles, too lol. It does depend on what your goals are, I think! I personally play through every event... though sometimes it's almost painful because the stories are often not great. (This one was especially underwhelming.) But I read them because sometimes you get good one liners lol. And I only grind for stuff if I want the cards, but if you wanted to use up your AP you might as well use it on events! Then you'll get rewards, even if you don't get the cards.

Yeah, OG is messed up when it comes to getting through all the lessons and NB is shaping up to be no better. But there are a lot more lessons in OG, so it takes longer. Back when I first started playing, I got through like the first two seasons and then didn't play the main story for months while I leveled my cards. Then the same thing happened between season three and season four lol. Then they were like NB is happening! And I was like oh hell no I am gonna finish season four if it kills me.

Yeah you got it with FOMO! Fear of missing out! I had that, too, with past cards that are just... lost to me forever. I did a similar thing, but with Barb. Every NB Barb card is belong to me! I've been spending my time getting some of the older ones from Lonely Devil in OG, too. And just unlocking everything like chats and what not.

A loud crashing and the feeling of the ground shaking under me, startled me from my sleep in the early morning. I shot up from my sleep in a panicked state. Curious of what that could have been. My mind ran wild.. My first thought was, Could it be THEM. I stumbled back over my own feet at the deadly thought. No…it couldn't be. I felt sick at the polluted thought that crossed my mind. I took a staggered breath and composed myself. I need to check this out for myself.

I hurried through the rough trails of my home. Anxiety building in my chest, the pressure and fear feeling like a lump in my throat, scared of what I may find.

As I came up on a crash sight, I could feel my heart in my stomach as I saw the crashed aircraft. I proceeded quietly and cautiously towards the large and unknown vessel… It didn't appear to be Imperial, but I still didn't trust it. I snaked around the front to try and get a better idea of what and who this was.

As I approached the front, I caught a quick glimpse of a man through the front of the ship. He was unconscious but alive, I could sense it. The man didn't look imperial either. But if he wasn't imperial, then who was he? And what was he doing all the way out here? I thought to myself. Suddenly, I was pulled from my thoughts by movement. He was waking up, and I had to make myself scarce!

I watched from afar as the man emerged from his ship, followed by two others… All three were very similar in appearance but different? but, the one who I saw unconscious on the ship caught my eye.

They were all tall and had a deeper complexion, but the one man.. The one I saw in the ship, he had lighter hair, and it looked as if gold shone through his eyes.

I shook my head to regather myself, I didn't know if these men were dangerous or not, but I would soon find out what their true intentions were.

Two of the three men strayed from the ship and were making their way through the thick forest. What were they looking for? I had so many questions burning inside me that I just had to find out. So, I trailed loosely behind them. Just enough to keep my eyes on them.

The men moved quietly and smoothly through the forestry, their steps intentional and driven. The one with the light hair, he had this forward presence to his movements, and he led the other one forward with confidence. He must be in charge. I slightly cocked my head to the side at this thought.

Abruptly pulling myself from those thoughts, I witnessed as they came to a clearing. A clearing that I was all too familiar with. My breath hitched in my throat at the thought of returning there, returning to the place that was once called home. My heart ached at just the memory of it. But, the sight of it… just made my chest get heavy. I hesitated, seeing my once beautiful home, charred and desolate.

Returning meant I had to face that inner pain. But, I had to find out more about these strangers. So, I reluctantly followed.

When we came to the clearing, I made sure to stay back so they couldn’t see me. I watched as the two men paused, and all went even more quiet than it already was. It piqued my interest, so I got closer so I could hear them better.

“What- were those huts?” the one man stuttered out. The other man took a moment to respond to the others' question. I could sense..sorrow, he felt sad? For my home? Then he spoke. “Yeah...yeah Wolffe, those were huts.”

Wolffe? That must be his name… Hmmm. With my interest peaking even more now, I decided to keep trailing them. I wanted…no, I NEEDED to know more at this point.

The two strangers trekked onwards. At this point, I'm really not sure what it is they are even looking for. If they are even looking for something. I started to question if they had ill intentions or if they just were simply stuck here. At this point, the only way to find out what they wanted would be to confront them.

They were coming up on a cove where fresh water poured down and collected from the cliffs. The light haired man spoke again “We'll stop here, Wolffe. Gather some water before heading back to the ship and Gregor.”

The man he spoke to, the one he called Wolffe. He just nodded his head in reply before veering off to go get water.

This was my chance, my only opening to confront them while they had their guard down.

I slowly crept towards the man by the water, trying not to alert him that I was there. My guard was up, no weapon drawn but I was ready if necessary. As I quietly approached, I went to lunge forwards to grab him so I could disarm him of any weapons but I was the one who was instantly caught off guard.

He turned on me quickly, reacting to my presence. The next thing I knew, I was pinned into the shallows of the water. My fight instincts kicked in as I struggled beneath the large stranger. I screamed out in frustration while trying to slash my hands at him to free myself. Water splashed into our eyes as I struggled. He quickly restrained my arms and pinned me down harder. My eyes narrowed in on the man's face, and pure fear started to flash through my mind. I could hear my heartbeat get faster and I could feel my blood start to rush through my body. My brows furrowed up at the man. My realization of the situation kicked in, I couldn't get free! The thoughts of What have I done?! plagued my mind.

I looked up at the man with scared eyes before my voice cracked out in fear. “Please…please don't hurt me.”

Suddenly, the light haired man spoke loudly and abruptly. “Wolffe! Let her go! You're freaking the poor thing out!”

KH OC Profile Part 1 : Ursus

It as been long overdue that I share the story of my OCs. While not all of them are quite finished (plot, ending, screenshots...) I owe you at least one. I'll try to complete the others but know that, one way or another, not matter how long I'll take, they all will be there.

ANYWAY !!!! Let's start with...

"I'm not sure I'll make that much of a difference, but I'll be darned if I didn't try !"

Wilhelm was 12 when he was called to the Station of Awakening and received his Keyblade. Before migrating to Daybreak Town proper, he was a quiet dreamer living with his family in the countryside, wanting to see many new things but always laking the courage to do so.

His first few mounths were a bit lonely : Wilhelm was never someone to make the first step toward others and during missions with other Ursus members, he was polite and focused. His first real friend was a seasonned weilder nammed Lyra :

The 17 year old girl was the one who helped Wilhelm come out of his shell. While this gal was also mission focused and "by the book", she was also a secret nerd. It's also her that nicknamed Wilhelm "Billy". Their friendship lasted a whole year before Lyra simply vanished. Her Keyblade was never found so Billy keept hope that she was alive somewhere.

Billy's favorite world to discover was Wonderland ! Because he was always facinated by the intricacies of the world/worlds, visiting a place where logic don't apply was a fascinating experience , even if some locals might be tiring to deal with. Wilhelm might also have a small crush on Alice.

It was during a contemplative stroll on the beach that Billy met and befriended Summer, Google, Mio, Dennis and Ethel. Having a friend group was a breath of fresh air and allowed Billy to grow more confident and snarky while still maintaining his patient and loyal demeaner. He eventually formed the Multi-Union Squad with Ethel, Théa, Fulgur and Clover. And it's 3 years after becomming a Keyblade Weilder that Player arrived in Daybreak Town and later became his friend.

When Wilhelm first met Aced, he was intimidated but also awe inspiring. And, funily enough, Wilhelm had an easier time talking to an adult than his fellow teen comrades. That's how Billy became the Ephemer to Aced's Ava. Aced knew that Willhelm was capable of great things and kept encouraging him, in turn, Billy became an attentive ear for when his master needed to vent. That's how Billy became one of the first and few to know about the "traitor". But Billy knew deep inside that something was wrong about this affair. And when THIS happened :

Wilhelm knew that something was wrong because he knew his master and Aced never acted this violent, nearly killing Player. That man who talked about power, worthyness and war was nothing like his master who wanted the Unions to bend together against darkness and prevent the war from taking place.

Despite his potential, his fighting style combining calculated strong blows with spells like Graviga, Mines and Magnet, Wilhelm was a pacifist at heart. Like Skuld, Billy did his best to defuse tensions between Unions, being diplomatic and resorting to his Keyblade as an ultimate resort. Maybe naively, Billy wanted to believe that the war could be prevented, so when he was approched to join the Dandilions, he refused.

During that fated day, Wilhelm ran through the battlefield, defending himself but never harming anyone on purpose, desperatly trying to find a way to stop everything. But he is cornered by Ira and Billy stand his ground as best he can. When Billy thought that Ira was gonna end him, Aced arrived and got Ira to battle him further away, saving Billy, who for a moment recognized the master he once knew.

Despite his best effort, the War continued and Billy ends up gravely wounded. Player was nearby and tried to help his friend. Regretful yet fulfilled for the life he lived, Wilhelm draws his last breath, his heart joining the Final World.

There you have it : the full story of Wilhelm from Ursus. But for those who wants a peak in my crazy brain...

oh boy.

So, I've watched all of S&B season two in less than a day. And let me tell you...I'm very disappointed!

As a show, there were things I liked. I'll start with some of those-

the acting: Really good! I really took to all of the new actors- especially Nikolai and Wylan, who have always been two of my favorites. Strong seasons from Daisy Heard, Jessie was great as always, and really came around on Nina's actor too.

Costumes: I enjoyed about 90% of them (not Zoya's dress at the end of the season. but that's a whole other can of worms). Jesper looked great!

The Darkling: He was shown to be as pathetic and sad as he's always been. Him dreaming about Alina and her stabbing him was wonderful. Happy Genya and Zoya helped put him in the ground, at least for now.

Zoya/Nina: I was actively really upset when Zoya wasn't sending Nina off on her mission before season 1. Their dynamic means so much to me and the narrative, but I had assumed we were going to have to sacrifice Zoya's SoC storyline to allow her to build her S&B storyline! But we weren't! They got to interact. I wish it had focused more on Nina leaving in the middle of the war, and what it was like for her to come back, but there were just too many different characters and moving pieces to get in depth focus on that, and I understand that.

Jesper!: He was great. he's always great. Zero notes! Loved him a Wylan having a past. It made up for the other Crows reallyyy going through it with their love interests.

And the bad things:

As an adaption: Really rough. Like I understand the desire to get through both S&S and R&R. but they completely butchered my favorite book in the trilogy (maybe the whole series!) to do it. They took the Apparat out entirely. They lost most of the Sun Summoner cultists and Alina granting her power to them on the Fold. Nikolai did not become the monster and spend half of the season chasing the crew around. No firebird hunt! Alina lost her little trip with her friends, lost the comradery that came from traveling up and down Ravaka with Mal, David, Genya, Zoya, Nadia, the twins, and Adrik. No Oncat at all!!!! Alina never thought she had more to lose because she never realized she even had it!!!!!!!

They rushed her into wanting to save Ravaka, pulled her away from the girl who wanted peace to herself and to help children like she was.

I understand they didn't want to lose Jessie, Archie, and Ben at the same time. (Debatable about Ben. but that's for later). The set up and destroyed so much of the story for the hope they might get a season 3 (with Netflix's trackrecord, i'm not hopeful).

But man. they lost so much of what i loved about the trilogy. I know most folks don't love it. even going through the tag I can see most people are mostly here for the crows. Where was the huge awful civil war!!! one battle!!! with a rip-off Zoya (bangs and all). And a different squaller got to do lightning before Zoya!!! I'm grumpy.

and there is a slim chance that we get a season 3 that ends with Mal and Alina on their little farm. but man, i don't want to take that bet. What a waste!

Matthais: i love the boy, but man, ever single one his scenes at hellgate were like pulling teeth for me. insane he had a whole arc to himself while zoya was shoved whereever the writers needed her to be.

Nikolai's Monster: So happy they snuck it at the last second. But man, it should have happened earlier. My favorite R&R Zoyalai scene is not the ones with Alina, but when Nikolai turns back into a man and Zoya catches him falling out of the sky, a scene that is paralleled in RoW. I get it, yet again, that the viewers barely knew Nikolai, so turning him into the monster halfway through the season was silly, but they could have done it in episode 7 and i think it could have worked.

DAVID!!!!: Are you kidding me!!!!! I know he could alive, as there was no body, but we already went through this one. GENYA already goes through this once. this happened solely so the triumvirate could be Alina, Zoya, and Genya. But when Zoya said the world I literally burst into tears. It's supposed to be David :( Alina's "oh we don't need the orders anymore" is supposed to come from Zoya figuring out in KoS/RoW that the lines are not so neatly drawn. David has to help Nikolai with his inventions!!!! Like!!!! Who's going to chain up the monster!!!

Mal: he should not have fucking left. that speech he gave about being happier on the ship with Strumhund is NOT his story. it's Nikolai's. He would never leave Alina!!!!

Zoyalai: I'll just get to it. It feels like the writers were baiting me specifically. "Let's let Nikolai interact with literally ever other character in the universe. but Zoya!" And at the end, when i thought we might get something with Alina telling Inej to tell him where Zoya was. Nothing! (Well, Elivabeta's Bee was a nice touch) but! not a single conversation! Alina's going "comfort him" while he's king. She's still in charge of the second army, while Zoya's just "in charge of training". They're still engaged!!!! I literally thought she was stopping the engagement when she gave the emerald back. but nope!

i have no faith there will a season three, and honestly. not sure i want one. what a mess. if these showrunners had wanted a crows show so badly, they should have just fucking done one. the trilogy is not perfect, but had a solid, good storyline with characters with arcs and purposes and and it's really hard to see how they redeem that.

Nexus: ogre slayer [1/6]

(ha ha... So yeah. Season 1 is pretty damn short. Anyway I hope you all enjoy.)

[Season 1] "inari festival under threat"

We began in Hunter HQ as a red alert blares out. Johnson Lucius xander jay and some other hunters all emerged from the barracks. "What the hell it's been 11 days since the last read alert!" Jay shouted as a flat screen TV descended from the ceiling and started playing a audio.

"Attention hunters there's been a report of 12 ogre beats approaching the inari festival in the Tokyo district. 13 of you will be dispatched. Your mission is to evacuate the festival and then promptly either kill or dispel the ogre beasts" the audio said as a few hunters looked around and nodded to each other.

"Your transport will be waiting for you in the front of HQ we only need 13 hunters with a Hunter rank of 5." The audio continued then finally stopped playing as the TV was then lifted back up into the ceiling.

"Wait what do you mean by Hunter rank of five" Johnson asked confused. "Oh you see every Hunter starts off at rank 10 which is the lowest rank. And zero being the highest" jay answered. "So basically leveling up?" Johnson said as Jay and xander nodded.

"Well then I guess me and Lucius are out of the equation all right you two what Hunter rank are you at?" Johnson asked.

"I'm at Hunter rank 4 and Jay is at Hunter rank 5" xander said. "Well alrighty then get going people are in danger!" Lucius said.

Jay and Xander nodded and headed to the transport. They got on along with 11 other hunters and the transport Departed.

"So I guess you got a new team now huh?" Jay asked looking at Xander. Xander looked back then sighed "yeah I guess.... Okay look Jay I'm sorry I left but-" Xander said "no I get it you didn't want..... you didn't want another rin to happen...." Jay said looking down.

".... This is more then just about me having a partner isn't it?" Xander asked. Jay didn't say a word. "Jay. answer me." Xander said sternly.

"Why did you have to leave me..... I get the fact that rin dying sucked but.... I thought what we had was special!" Jay said. Xander shook his "so it is about me breaking up with you. Look Jay our relationship was failing. you wanted to retire have kids but I wasn't ready I still care for you but that spark we once had is dead, our relationship is dead." Xander said bluntly. Jay sighed and they simply didn't talk for the rest of the ride.

The transport finally stopped and the doors opened the hunters exited the transport and saw 5 ogre stags, 3 ogre hounds and finally 4 ogre boars. No wonder this hunt was was rank five and up required. This was an invasion.

We see Xander and Jay get off the transport as Jay took off his backpack they had carried around. He then took out a remote pressed it and then the backpack transformed into a command center.

"I see you haven't changed your technology at all Jay." Xander said as Jay started typing away at his computer. "How else am I supposed to connect to the mech lobbies I've created hundreds of." Jay retorted.

Xander shook his head and then went along with every other Hunter to evacuate the civilians from the festival.

Once they got into the festival the hunters immediately started evacuating the entire area leading families to safety halting all rides and taking off anyone who was still on a ride as well as overall creating an area to where there'll be able to have little to no casualties. The hunters then took out all their weapons and got into their battle positions.

It was going to take a while for Jay to connect to his mech lobbies so the main idea of the hunters was to simply take down as many ogre beats as possible until Jay was able to completely lock down the area and then access one of his mechs.

As they waited with their weapons drawn a ogre boar put its hands on top of the ginormous fence that surrounded the entire festival. And in one fluid motion the Beast tore down the fence as its eyes glowed pink like every other ogre boar. Then five over stags stormed the arena as well as every other ogre Beast.

Xander looked around and started to assess the situation there was currently 12 hunters ready to go into action each one of them was either a rank five or one.

Considering how they each probably have enough skill to take down a single ogre Beast it would make sense for them to stick to fighting one.

Xander ready to sword and after looking around for a bit he had the perfect plan. "Kangaroo style fang three. Outback bolt!" Xander shouted as he leaped forwards towards a pipe and turned his body to the correct angle to land on said pipe then bouncing off it having his sword sheathed.

He was headed straight towards one of the ogre hounds as it reared it's ugly head and opened its quadruple hinged jaw to its fullest as it released a Sonic howl towards the other hunters. Xander could feel his momentum starting to slow. He needed to find something to bounce off of.

He looked around but saw nothing until a giant mechanical hand shot its way through and went right under Xander allowing him to jump off it.

'jay I swear you have the most convenient timing' Xander thought to himself as he landed onto the blue mechanical arm and leaked off it gaining back a lot of the momentum he had lost. Xander unsheathed his sword weird his blade back. As he got closer he swung his sword absolutely cleaving the Beast neck in half.

Then the mechanical hand caught Zander as another one emerged and slugged one of the ogre boars in the face.

Then we see the colossal mech known as atlas. it's long spray painted cobalt arms powered by Pistons and motors as well as a gear system that allowed the arm to move and bend like that of a human. It's legs were equal as long if not longer. Then we see it's supposedly muscular upper body with a giant window in its chest cavity its head was absent.

Then we hear the familiar voice of jay saying "ganbare motherfuckers.". Then the ogre stages reared their horns as a thunderstorm approached.

Then a bolt of lightning struck the antlers of the Beasts as their mouths started glowing.

Then both the ogre stags and ogre hounds opened up their mouths and the ogre hounds released a devastating Sonic screech and the ogre stags released a giant beam of electricity.

All of the attacks seeming to be aimed at the hunters and the mech. This would normally be the end for any normal person.

"God speed!" A voice shouted Then two bolts of red and purple electricity fly by and turn into Johnson and Lucius as Lucius threw his axes absorb the electricity and into the ogre hounds mouths. He then closed his fists "Zeus Divine thunder!" Lucius shouted as purple electricity erupted from the ogre hounds tearing them apart from the inside out until they were nothing but Ash. Meanwhile Johnson prepared his blade and swung it into one of the ogre stags antlers cutting both of them off.

Then Lucius grabbed Johnson after his axes returned to him using his concentrated electromagnetism. "Godspeed" lucius shouted as he and Johnson turned back to red and purple lightning and zipped down to the ground.

When they got down there Johnson high fived Lucius as they watched as the ogre Beasts retreated.

The mechanical hand went downwards and landed on the ground as Xander hopped off it. "What the hell are you two doing here I thought you were at base!" Xander shouted frustrated.

Johnson turned to Xander "well Mr grumpy pants what we just did was take down the rest of the ogre Beast without even having to kill all of them we scared those fuckers off with our sheer strength that my friend is an accomplishment!" Johnson said proudly.

Xander sighed "well at least everyone's safe and I would be normally pissed that you two but considering how you did help us finish the job I can't really get mad at you for that" he said.

"Alrighty then everyone head back to the transport" Jay said through the mechs megaphone.

Objective: protect the inari festival from ogre beasts.

Status: Victory.

Meanwhile We see a masked figure standing over a building watching as every Hunter got onto the transport yet mainly focused on Johnson. The masked figures emerald eye glowed bright red.

End of season 1

it's hard to put into words why seb means so much to me but I'm going to try.

when I was little, maybe 3 or 4, my dad used to watch f1 every sunday, and as he was a complete and utter jackass, the most time I could spend with him was sitting quietly next to him watching the race. back then, my fav was button (because I thought he was in a pantomime I saw) back in his BAR days.

but as my dad left, so did any relationship with F1. I still felt like an odd little bit of a fan inside, but I didn't watch it and lost contact with the goings on .

suddenly, in 2018, my brother started watching it again. and I was quickly enthralled once again. 2018 was a spectacular season (thanks ferrari's definitely-not-illegal engine) and once again I did like I do, and made it my mission to know everything about it.

for some context, in 2018 I was pretty miserable, struggling in school, and at home. I was a pretty nasty person to be around, I can admit it. but suddenly this guy with the shittest haircut I had ever seen started grasping at my heartstings. he was kind and empathetic and fast! boy was the speed incredible, watching every one of his races puts that in undeniable evidence.

at that point I started to realise that maybe not everyone was evil. whether entirely because of seb, or he just helped I don't know. but since then, every time he had a chance to let people down, he chose not to. when he could have conceded at ferrari and become spiteful, he remained kind to the rookie teammate that so quickly overshadowed him. when he got in trouble for wearing the rainbow t-shirt in hungary, he could have conceded and backed down. but he took the attention and made sure everyone knew he cared. and as a little closeted baby gay, that meant a lot.

but most significantly when this man spoke about his wife and kids, when his eyes lit up and he got that smile, it felt l got to see what a true happy dad was like.

I'm not someone that needs a signature card or a selfie, but from now on I get to carry all the memories I have of the guy, who still has hair in need of help, but that truly cares about the world he lives in, and the people with which he lives with in it.

I know parasocial relationships or whatever you'd like to call them are dangerous, and possibly unhealthy, but some people you can't help admiring, and you can't help them starting to mean something to you. and seb is that for me.

STAR TREK: PICARD: 3x06: "The Bounty": Agent Crusher?

Beware: Season 3 spoilers! If you have not watched the first six episodes of STAR TREK: PICARD season 3, get thee to your streaming device and watch! Then come back for some secret space police speculating. =)

Thesis: Jack is a sleeper agent of Section 31 and Beverly is his handler.

"MAYBE I WAS DOOMED BEFORE I WAS BORN."

Jack exhibited unusual abilities-slash-symptoms as a child, including sleeplessness and traumatic visions. Beverly realized that they manifested as a result of traits unknowingly inherited from his father, someone who was once assimilated into the Borg and made into potential consort for their Queen, who was consumed by and then released from the Nexus energy ribbon, who traveled back and forth in time and visited alternate realities. With those ingredients, who knows WHAT you're gonna get, right?

Specifically, it's the latent Borg collective communication and coordination abilities that Jack inherited from Jean-Loc that make him valuable to Vadic and the Starfleet Revenge Squad (my name for the team-up of baddies responsible for all of JL & the gang's woes in season 3).

A DEAL WITH THE DEVILS.

Beverly did what she could to treat her son's apparent symptoms, but with little success. Having cut herself off from Starfleet and her friends to protect and raise her son on her own, she didn't have access to legitimate resources that might have helped. However, Section 31 had been keeping tabs on JL and his associates and were well aware of her son and his health issues. They approached and offered to help Beverly help her son in exchange for their cooperation when called upon. Beverly and Jack would continue living their otherwise off-the-grid Galactic Doctors without Borders lives without any changes, but every once in a while, Section 31 would call on them to pick up or deliver something or someone, or provide assistance to other agents operating on the Federation fringe.

Beverly agrees and S31 gives her access to data and treatments that Beverly uses to relieve Jack's symptoms. S31 continues to supply her with materials and assistance with Jack's treatment as long as she continues to complete the missions they give her.

THE CRUSHER IDENTITY.

To better protect and equip the Crushers for space cloak and dagger work, when Section 31 offered to train him as a sleeper agent, young Jack agreed. This involved all manner of intelligence, weapons, and martial arts training, but psychically compartmentalized, thanks to unique tech and procedures available to Section 31 (visit Daystrom Station =). It also required that Jack's knowledge of S31 be erased.

An outline of the imagined steps…

Jack signs up for the S31 sleeper agent program. —

S31 partitions his mind to create Action Jack, who undergoes training. —

S31 modifies Jack's memory to forget that he works for S31 and is part of the sleeper agent program. —

S31 implants a trigger or triggers to activate and deactivate Action Jack when needed. He is automatically activated when Jack or Beverly is in mortal danger. —

31 trains Beverly to handle and monitor Jack and Action Jack's behavior and programming.

His "double agent" existence might be compared to those of characters in TOTAL RECALL, MOON KNIGHT, BOURNE IDENTITY, and SEVERANCE. I imagine two strong variations on how it could go, based on…

…what S31 wants. Action Jack is a separate persona, distinct from Jack, and programmed to follow orders as well as protect. Like Quaid in TOTAL RECALL, Grant/Spector in MOON KNIGHT, and Mark in SEVERANCE. —

…what we've seen. When in danger Jack enters a fugue state in which he can access his sleeper training on automatic, without a separate Action Jack persona. More like, but not identical to, Jason in BOURNE IDENTITY. Maybe measures taken by Dr. Mom have put a ding in "what S31 wants" resulting in this behavior, unintended by S31's programming?

TRUST NO ONE.

I believe Beverly and Jack's good standing with Section 31 changed a few months ago when Beverly realized that they wanted Jack for something more, something specific. Maybe at the same time 31 stopped or changed Jack's treatments, or, in going fugitive on 31, Beverly lost access to them, which has resulted in the return of Jack's spells and insomnia. She may also have learned that Section 31—or at least the cell or group that she and Jack have dealt with—are being run by Changelings. If she didn't know then, she certainly must realize it now. The Changelings, thru Section 31, have been tracking and programming/grooming Jack to play a very important role in their plan to cripple Starfleet, thanks to the abilities inherited from his father. Starfleet Revenge Squad's plan calls for Jack's will—compromised by S31's programming—to direct the currently latent hive mind collective that will emerge from the network of integrated Starfleet starships.

The visions of red vines and voices calling to Jack to "find us" and "connect us" are Starfleet ships calling for his help."Integration" has been achieved via the repurposing of Borg tech extracted from the Romulan Borg Artifact. Starfleet—under Revenge Squad's guidance—has turned their ship computers into entities resembling very simple Borg drones, sentient, but suppressed. The latent collective network among these drones is what enables integration, and Jack is naturally tuned into it.

ODDS & ENDS.

Some miscellaneous notes related to the above crazy talk…

This strategy for a Frontier Day attack seems like a perfect fit to me except for one thing—Borgnes and her Bjørg cooperative demonstrated the vulnerability in using Borg-derived tech in Starfleet ships when she overrode the Stargazer's systems at the anomaly rift in season 2. But perhaps the Revenge Squad's agents in Starfleet and Section 31 came up with a patch for that—an update that would prevent such an override by unfriendlies. Of course, it would be designed to identify Jack's techno-organic commands as friendly. —

I'm unclear on how much Jack remembers of Action Jack's activity, but it seems like none of it. He doesn't explicitly say anything about taking out the four Changelings who were ready to abduct him on the Titan, letting Shaw and Beverly discuss without adding anything. —

I think his visions are a combination of Action Jack programming bleeding into his waking life and messages he is picking up via Radio Free Borg. Each muddling the other somewhat. The red door might be an entrance to an S31 training location, and/or access to his memories of his Action Jack training and activities. Or maybe it's the gateway to Starfleet's version of Unimatrix Zero. —

Beverly uses Irumodic Syndrome as an explanation for any situations in which Jack's S31 programming "bleeds" through or is compromised by his actions in front of others or by leaving evidence.

I've still got more than a couple competing ideas about the Starfleet Revenge Squad and its motivations…

The Reman Viceroy is Vadic's boss. He's in it to bring down Starfleet (and Picard and friends) for cutting short the Reman rule of the Romulan empire and more than happy to ally with the Changelings to make it happen. He has delivered Romulan Artifact tech and research to the Changelings embedded in Starfleet to create the "integrated" fleet. Species 8472 is framing the Changelings. They have updated their isomorphic tech to allow them to shapeshift at will, but without regular boosters, revert to "goo" in reversion. Altho 8472 came to a peaceful accord with Voyager, there were hawks as well as doves among 8472, and as far as we know, no follow-up diplomatic communications were opened. Starfleet is the only enemy who defeated 8472, so their plan is to have the Dominion do their dirty work for them. A crazy long-shot, I know, but man, how awesome would it be to have JL and friends uncover the frame-up and have 8472 vs. the Dominion? =) —

Rogue 8472s are working with—enslaved by?—the rogue Changelings. 8472's Federation simulation training and genetic modification skills have helped Changelings improve their mimicking capabilities, resulting in their meatier appearance. I'm not sure why 8472s would end up subservient to Changelings—I would prefer a straight-up team-up arrangement—but if it is Changelings and 8472s, I think they must be the ones chittering behind the masks. Maybe they are unable to return to fluidic space because of environmental damage? Struck with a preemptive S31 plague? Specifically sought out, captured, and suborned by the rogue Changelings? Maybe JL and friends can cure or free the 8472s and have them turn on the Changelings and Squad upper management to turn everything around? —

Would also be happy to see a Weyoun or Bashir's Mutant/Augment Squad running the evil show. =)

And of course, I am still all for any of my zany "What's up with Jack?" theories, too!

Snippet Sunday double feature!

To Be Or Not To Be Chapter 3

The rehearsals went fine for the most part the last few weeks. Nobody forgot too much text or missed their cue. All in all, successful for a second rehearsal. Except for the fact that Astarion has to put up with his ex: Quinn. Quinn hadn’t been that huge fan of the arts like Astarion, but didn’t complain either when they went out to watch a play or have their second date there. But somehow they made it their mission to make Astarion’s life harder than it already is. They come too late to rehearsals, butt heads with the crew from time to time, and do their medical homework when they should be learning the script. One day was the boiling point for Astarion, when Quinn decided to exit the stage for no reason.

“What the hell are you doing?” Astarion called after him. “Why are you even here, if you don't take it seriously?”

“I'm not talking to you outside of the play.”

“Oh, very mature. You were the one who cheated on me AND broke up with me!”

“You wanna know why I cheated on you? You clung to your childish dream and still do. And you didn't satisfy my needs. I wanted it so badly and just cuddling and making out wasn't enough for me.”

Astarion stands still. Perplexed and speechless. He tries several times to begin a sentence until he finally chokes out: “Then why didn't you talk to me? You knew I didn't feel ready yet.”

“How long should I have waited then? Until we marry? Forever?”

“You're being very unfair right now. Why are you here?”

“My girlfriend Jenevelle wanted me to get a hobby and do something creative. I'm an aspiring forensic mortician for fuck sake. Not an artist. But apparently I cannot be replaced now until next season.”

“You wanted to be a doctor once. What happened?”

“Childish dreams die when you grow up. Yours should too.”

And Quinn exits the building.

Having heard the commotion Elisabeth walks over to Astarion and comforts him.

“Hey, are you alright?”

“You have perfect timing. You're awfully convenient at the right place and time. Second time in a row now, Lizzy.”

“Sorry, I didn't mean to make it look like I'm snooping. I just heard loud arguing and was wondering if you're okay.”

The Rockstar and the Groupie

The next week, Estellé was determined to find out more about Astarion’s manager: Cazador. Any interview with him or mentioning him was helpful. How did he get into the business? Who hired him before? What's his deal, exactly? Apparently he was a merchant's son with bigger dreams, he said once. Was left to run the business alone, but ultimately sold it to one of his childhood friends to pursue his dream. Or so he said, anyway. No mentions of whom he managed before, his age or where he came from. Some theorize he’s from Kozakura - Kara-Tur.

She rifled through magazines upon magazines, interviews and accounts of “colleagues” and “friends”. Even worked her way through the band member interviews, which are less in quantity than that of Astarion, of course. Nothing that she finds screams “criminal” or “shady person”. Just your average shitty manager. Until Estellé compares two pictures where Cazador stands behind Astarion and where he stands next to him. In one picture he has dark brown almost black eyes and in the other they shimmer slightly red. She inserts the cassette of the interview with Astarion and Cazador again and focuses on his eyes. It’s a tiny moment. The blink of an eye but they shimmer in a different colour for a few seconds before he puts his sunglasses on, complaining “the light is too bright, his eyes are sensitive”.

Estellé is so focused on her research that she completely forgets the time until her colleague, Ruberta, calls her. Ruberta is a feisty dwarf, who likes to threaten anybody with her great axe who dares to come too late to work. Estellé gets ready as fast as she can, not able to make any breakfast for herself. Just enough time to feed her pet “Brioche”. A cute corgi, that has the most magnificent thick coat in all Faerûn.
