Jub for ones something very different :)) didn’t skribble my Linksona, Ajal, for a while. Ended up giving him a different skin tone, the old one was to orange!

But to them three, a future Au with them, Ajal and Maphi (Zeldasona) as archeologist finding a cursed item, that had Ganondorf sealed inside.

At first he is quite happy to have the other two triforce holders right in front of him. But this “happiness” changes to honest happiness and he starts enjoying the time with them in this weird future.

Valentine Event

“Billy?” You said as you opened the door and found him on the doorstep. “Oh! I need you!” You said and grabbed at his belt buckle. He glanced down at your hand and let you pull him by the buckle into your house. He had been grinning, about to make a joke until he saw your room. 

Every flat surface had paper stuck to it. The floor has notes, scribbles and drawings over it like a thin carpet. “What the fuck!” He said.

“Dustin. You know Dustin, Steve’s little friend. He found this code and they cracked three words and they found a quote in a magazine in another code and now I need the rest because they need it.” You pointed to a walkie-talkie that was crackling on your desk.

“What you need is a glass of water and fucking shrink. Nut job.” Billy said. He helped himself to the kitchen and got you a cold drink. He made you down it before he would take a seat and listen to you. He honestly had thought that you had finally cracked and invited him over for a little fun. But you looked like you hadn’t slept in a while and he didn’t like the manic way you’d looked at him while you explained.

“So what… what is going on?” Billy asked. You sat next to him and showed him the code that Dustin had given you. Then you explained that together you had cracked two of the letters and Steve had gotten another. There was a second code that had been cracked but no one knew what it meant. You handed that one to Billy and he grinned.

“You don’t know what this is?” He asked.

“Nope. It isn’t coordinates or a phone number.” You muttered. Billy sat on the floor, leaning against the foot of your bed and inspected the scraps of paper you’d given him. You knelt down next to him and watched him wide eyed as if expecting him to have a stroke of genius and leaned in.

“Ok if you get any closer you’re going to be in my lap so I can think or I can…” He smiled when you sat up quickly.

“What’s happening on the code?” Steve said over the walkie-talkie.

“Billy’s having a look.” You answered. There was a long pause before Steve said.

“Oh. So we’re completely out of ideas then?” Steve said.

“Fuck of Harrington.” Billy said as he frowned at the paper.

“Did you crack it?” You asked, looking over to him. He looked up at you and glared.

“No.”

After several hours of looking through books and listening to the others over the radio you were tired and close to giving up. Billy was laid on his back, arms and legs sprawled out taking up most of the free floor space.

“Maybe if I hold them like this.” You said and stood up. Holding out the bits of paper over Billy he frowned and looked up. Then he laughed.

“That one spells boobs.” Billy said with a snicker to his voice.

“You mind doing a little bit of thinking with your upstairs brain?” You asked and he sat up. He licked his lips and looked at you.

“Seriously. It says boobs. Look at it.” He watched you look at it and stood up, turning it the way he’d seen it and traced out the word with his fingers.

“Why would it say that?” You asked and he shrugged.

“Maybe they’re sending messages to each other in tha magazine.” Billy muttered.

“What magazine?” You asked him and he smiled.

“It’s a dirty one. Shit for porn it’s all articles and agony aunt columns. Not tits.” He said seriously. You frowned at him, your nose wrinkling before you sighed.

“Are you sure?” 

“Yeah. It’s made in Indiana.” Billy insisted. You went to the walkie-talkie and told Steve to go onto your usual channel that was just with him. He did and you filled him in. Then he agreed that you should split the stores to find a copy and compare as much of the code that had been cracked with the magazine and see if anything stood out.

“We have to go to these stores.” You said and gave Billy a list of places that sold magazines.

“Firstly. Why we? Secondly, how are you expecting to get there?” He asked. He looked down on you and grinned when you frowned at him.

“Because you came over to help me. Also… I can give you.” You trailed off and emptied a cute little pink piggy bank. He watched you tip it out and counted exactly two dollars in silver coins. “This much money.” You tipped it into his open hand and closed it around the coins then looked up at him with doe eyes as if you were hoping he wouldn’t bother checking how much money you gave him.

“Did you just give me two dollars in a load of coins?” He asked.

“It’s so many coins though.” You offered hopefully and gently shook his hands so the coins jingled. He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

“Come on then.” He relented. You smiled and grabbed his hand, pulling him to the door. “I know how to walk.” He muttered but you continued pulling him. He snatched his jacket off your bedroom door where he’d hung it and let you pull him out to his car. When he pulled up to the store you stomped off confidently. He hung back a little and watched in amusement as you hurried back and looked a little startled.

“What’s wrong?” He asked.

“I don’t like it in there.” You mumbled. He laughed softly and let your grip onto his arm as he led the way into the seedy shop. He was sure a couple were going at it in the back and someone who was almost entirely nude tried to talk to you which made you jump and squeeze against Billy’s side while he told them to leave you alone. Billy set the paper down with the information on the counter and the man behind the till hurried to get what he needed. They swapped cash and the magazine and Billy led the way out.

“Your little world been rocked or are you ok?” He asked as you stayed clung to him until he unlocked his car.

“I’m ok.” You said though he watched the way you climbed in the car like it was the safest place in the world. He drove back to yours in silence and the two of you went back to your room. 

“So what do we need to look for?” Billy asked as he flicked through. You were eyeing the magazine like it was a wild animal that broke into your house.

“Um. Well… something like this.” You showed him the half cracked code and he hummed to himself as he flicked through. When he turned the magazine sideways to inspect a picture you whomped him on the head with a pillow. “We’re fighting evil, not ogling people.” You insisted and he grinned.

“Do you want to look?” “No.” 

“Suit yourself… he flipped through a little more and reached a column that made him stop. 

“What is it?” You asked and sat next to him, leaning on his leg.

“Gimme the paper.” He demanded. You handed it over and he lined it up under one of the questions. “That looks right? It’s a personal ad. Somewhere to meet up.” 

You looked at it and nodded. He was right, it matched. Billy watched you update Steve who said he’d found a whole back log of the magazines and that he, Nancy, Jonathan and Jonathan’s mum were looking through them. When he updated them on where to look there were several cries of found one. 

“We did it!” You said cheerfully.

“I did it!” Billy said from the floor. He’d laid down again. You tidied away the bits of paper and stacked them neatly then did the same with the books.

“Thanks Billy.” You said when you were done.

“Uhu. So what was this all about anyway?” Billy asked you. 

“Um… evil Russians with monsters. Also magic girl. But I can’t really talk about it.” You said quickly as you went to the kitchen to find something to eat and left him in your room.

“What the fuck do you mean you can’t talk about it!” He asked as he shot up to his feet to follow you.
