agere outfits!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
im sure it’s obvious but just in case, the order goes patton, roman, logan, virgil, janus, and remus :3
i’ve never made outfit collage things before, so i hope y’all like these!!! i did my best haha
now for ages and headcanons and such under the cut :3
patton:
age range: he usually reaches like,, tiny baby age. i originally thought he’d be a bit on the older kiddo side cos i thought it’d be cute if he was like “i wanna help take care of the others even if im regressed” but nah his brain is like “you’re an infant now, let others help you whether you like it or not” ksjdjfkf
he’s nonverbal when he regresses, aside from the occasional single word sentence (such as “up!” or yes and no, though he usually nods or shakes his head for that)
it actually took him a while to realize he was an age regressor. he was the last of the group to realize their regression (though everyone else had their suspicions lol)
he doesn’t have a specific caregiver, everyone kinda takes turns caregiving, but baby patton is very (hilariously) attached to remus. his nickname for remus is “mouse” because he can’t really say remus or duke. mouse is just easier (roman is a bit jealous of the affection baby patton has for his brother, but he’ll take that to his grave)
roman:
age range: he goes from roughly 5 to 7, a bit younger if he regresses from stress
he started out being a rather proud regressor, not wanting to accept help from anyone. nowadays he’s the opposite, being extremely needy and clingy lol (no one really minds)
if you think he loves disney when he’s big, hoo boy little him is alllll about it lmao. he’s especially into bluey, watching at least one episode every time he regresses (and usually it’s not just one lmao)
big him isn’t really the biggest fan of remus, but when he regresses it’s a different story. he thinks of remus less as an annoying twin brother and more like a cool uncle that lets you do things your parents wouldn’t let you do. he’s embarrassed by this in a non-regressed state, and it doesn’t help that remus teases him endlessly for it lmao
logan:
age range: similar to roman, roughly 5 to 7, but much younger when stressed. he also has a tendency to age up slightly when others regress in his company. like if he’s seven, but patton goes baby mode, suddenly he’s twelve. not fully out of the headspace, but not as young as he’d prefer
surprisingly, he can be a bit of a brat. i mean this with love lmao. when he’s on the younger side, he has to have everything go his way or else. he also doesn’t handle rejection well. the others learned this very early on, and they each have different ways of dealing with it. but little logan’s smart and caught on to that, so when he needs or wants something, he chooses the big side he goes to carefully. little schemer <3
when he’s on the older side (or really when anyone is younger than him, which happens a lot), he becomes very protective. especially of patton, since he’s baby. he’s surprisingly good at knowing what patton needs, and verbalizes it on his behalf
when he’s feeling sad or stressed, he goes immediately to virgil. and if he can’t go to virgil for whatever reason, he goes to virgil’s room and lays on his bed. or, if he can’t go into virgil’s room, sits outside virgil’s door. virgil is his comfort person <3 or- comfort side. whatever kajdjfkf
virgil:
age range: he’s a teen regressor. like, 14 to 16 ish. he gets even more emo when regressed and no one knows how it’s possible skdjfkfkf
he has a paci he rarely uses, and it took a long time for him to become comfortable using it. he only really uses it when he’s particularly stressed (which, i mean, he’s kinda always stressed lol but the paci is basically for emergencies)
he’s an extremely protective older brother to everyone, and is almost like a caregiver even when regressed. on days where everyone’s regressed (as rare as they are), it’s him against the world lmao though he can enlist help from thomas (or remy if thomas is asleep) (remy only shows up in the mindscape when thomas is asleep)
he doesn’t need a caregiver since he’s always old enough to care for himself, but there are days when he goes to janus. he’s always mortified by it when he ages back up, but when he’s in the throes of teenage angst he needs janus’s support more than anything. he’s just grateful that janus doesn’t really bring it up when he ages up
janus:
age range: usually about 3 or 4, and doesn’t really go outside of that
lil dude loves hissing. but not like mean hissing, just excited hissing. he just goes “ssss!” and everyone knows he’s happy. the hissing is usually accompanied by hand flapping. stimmy lil snake <3
loves giving everyone hugs all the time. he just clings and won’t let go. he’s probably given the most hugs to either patton or roman, the latter of whom is basically always caught off guard by it. patton was caught off guard the first few times but has since adjusted (and happily so)
much like how little patton is very attached to remus, janus is extremely attached to roman. initially, roman wasn’t a fan of this, as he wanted as little to do with janus (both big and little) as possible. but once the two of them managed to bury the hatchet (as in, janus actually apologized), roman didn’t mind as much. it took a bit to become fully comfortable, but now roman is quite fond of little janus (and maybe big janus isn’t so bad <3)
remus:
age range: he could be any age, really. he doesn’t have time to figure out how old he is, he has mischief to get up to. he’s usually pretty capable when regressed, so he’s probably older than most of the others. he doesn’t act like it tho lmao
dude loves aliens. wants to be one. also pirates. his aesthetic can be summarized as alien pirates. or pirate aliens? thats actually why janus has an alien stuffie, it makes him think of remus <3
loves messing with the others when they’re also regressed. says things like “you’re now aware of your own breathing” and no one is a fan <3
definitely the most physically active of the regressors. if he’s not running, he’s jumping. and if he’s not jumping, he’s running kajdkfkfkf bro wears everyone out, even fellow regressed sides. the only one who can calm him down fully is janus, but only when janus isn’t also regressed. if janus is regressed he’s joining in on the chaos
thats the end of the post. i love these guys so much <3

Day 15: Candy
“Wait, Logan, one more time, where are we going?” Thomas asked as he was dragged through the mindscape, a sensation he was still only recently getting used to.
“Lost the last big person to chocolate.” Logan explained as he readjusted the falling goggles on his face. Yeah, that’s what Logan had said a minute ago, and it still clarified nothing for Thomas.
“Logan, what are you--”
“Pat! I got him!” Logan interrupted, pulling Thomas into a living room. And for all Thomas’s initial confusion, upon seeing the living room, it felt like it cleared up fairly quickly.
Sitting in various locations in the living room were some of the sides, clearly in various states of regression and sitting in front of bags of Halloween candy. Thomas had known that some of his sides had planned on regressing and trick-or-treating, so that wasn’t all that surprising. What was a shock was that all of them seemed to have regressed!
Firstly, the twins were seated near the television on the floor. Thomas could clearly hear them arguing over who had gotten the most candy. Thomas had known those two were going to be little together the moment the idea had been brought up. The twins enjoyed being little together, much to the chagrin of whoever was in charge of them, since they tended to get into baby fights.
“I got 340 pieces of candy, and you only got 320! That means I got more!” Roman argued as Remus ripped open a mini bag of skittles.
“Nuh uh ‘cause you’re not counting all these!” Remus argued back just as he managed to get the bag open, sending a skittles rolling off in every which way.
“That’s not how that works!” Roman disputed, but dug through his own pillowcase and pulled out a pack of skittles himself and started opening it as Remus crawled around the room, looking for his loose candy.
He crawled all the way to Virgil, who was sitting on the floor by the couch. Even from his distance, Thomas could see how sticky Virgil’s hand looked. As some of the skittles rolled towards Virgil, the little one squealed and picked them off the floor and--
“No no, baby, yucky!” Thomas hurried over attempting to intervene, but Virgil was already putting floor candy in his mouth, smiling happily and humming in delight. Remus whined.
“Roman! He ate some of mine! It still counts!” Remus complained as he crawled back. As Thomas approached, Virgil smiled up at him sweetly, holding up his bag.
“Tho! Loo’!” Virgil held up the bag for Thomas to look inside, mostly finding a lot of loose candy and already opened packaging. Thomas smiled down at the toddler, though it was a bit strained.
“Did you eat all that candy already, Vee?” Thomas asked, kneeling down.
“No, Janus and him shared a bag.” Logan explained. He had walked over and held in his hand a wet napkin. Thomas took in gratefully and began to clean up the sticky mess from Virgil’s hand and face, much to the little one’s distress.
“Vee was too scared to go up to the houses, so he and Janus shared.” Logan explained. Thomas peered over at his Logical side as he spoke, wondering if he was still regressed or not.
“What about you? Where’s your candy?” Thomas asked as he finished cleaning up his anxiety. Virgil whined when Thomas wasn’t looking at him anymore, and started to pat his face.
“I don’t like candy.” Logan admitted. “So I gave it t’Patton.” He explained. Thomas nodded, but didn’t have much time to question it as Virgil grew fussy. Thomas sighed and relented.
“Okay bud, stand up and I’ll pick you up.” Thomas said. Virgil gurgled happily and clumsily stood up on his feet. Thomas lifted Virgil up and adjusted him on his hip. It was a good thing his sides were just figments of his Imagination and not actual adult sized men.
“My M&M’s only had 10! Why did yours have 11?!” Thomas heard Roman whine. He looked over at the twins.
“Roman, that’s just how candy packaging is, you probably have one that has more than Remus.” He tried to appease.
“Nuh uh! No way he does!” Remus argued, and it only seemed to spur more arguing between the two. Thomas sighed once more. How had all of them regressed?!
“Who was big with you guys?” Thomas asked, ignoring Virgil as he whined and reached for his candy bag he had left on the floor.
“Well, I was a little big for a while, but that was only ‘cause I was nervous.” Logan admitted, his face turning a bit pink. Thomas nodded, and smiled at Logan, hoping to convey he was proud of his logical side for being vulnerable. “And Patton was big big, but then he started eating sweets, and he didn’t stay big for very long after.” Logan continued to explain.
“Where is he now?” Thomas asked, finally bending down and picking up Virgil’s candy bag and handing it to him. Logan shrugged.
“He was here when I left.” He explained, looking around. Thomas grew a bit worried at that, until Roman piped up.
“He’s behind the couch with Janus.” He helpefully explained as he counted his candies again.
“Oh! I also getta count Janus’s candy ‘cause he took all my yellow ones!” Remus argued, standing up and hurrying over to the couch.
“Nuh uh! You gave them away then!” Roman argued, also standing up. Everyone made their way over to the couch, and Thomas peered behind it to find his two remaining sides.
“‘Mas!” Janus looked up and smiled at Thomas, lots of yellow candies and wrappers sitting in his lap.
“Hi.” Patton squeaked as he looked up. His face was covered in chocolate, and unlike the other sides that were all dressed in their pajamas, Patton still wore his blue sweater and tight pants. Thomas couldn’t stop himself from awwing at the sight. His Morality must have tired really hard to stay big if he hadn’t even had the chance to change.
Remus counted under his breath, before cheering.
“Janus has 32 candies, which means I win!” He declared, already running back to his candy bag.
“Some of those was his! You don’t get to count them all!” Roman yelled, chasing after his twin.
“Bellow!” Janus babbled, holding up a yellow box of Dots candy. Virgil’s eyes grew wide with want, and he reached out towards it, almost topping Thomas over.
“Oh geez, okay, I think it’s time for all my sides to go to bed.” Thomas called out as he bent down for Virgil to get the candy. The twins both let out audible whines, but didn’t argue. Which Thomas was grateful for.
“Wait, I forgot--” Logan gasped, before running towards the kitchen. Thomas was about to intervene, worried that he was trying to avoid bedtime, but then Logan ran back in with another pillow case of candy.
“Oh good, more sugar.” Thomas said teasingly. “Whose bag is that?” He asked.
“It’s for you.” Logan said with a small smile. Thomas was surprised.
“Huh?”
“Oh yeah! We tricked or treated for you too!” Roman explained, rushing over, his bag gripped in his hand.
“Yeah! I got you the most candy though.” Remus added, which was immediately refuted by Roman.
“Janus took all the yellow ones out though.” Logan explained as he handed the bag to Thomas. At hearing his name, Janus looked up again.
“‘M ‘bellow.” Was his only comment to that.
“That was…very kind of you guys,” Thomas said genuinely touched that his sides thought about him. “Thank you…Now, let’s get to bed.” Thomas explained, setting the candy down. He knew he would have to get them to bed soon, or else they might begin to question why Thomas wasn’t eating any of the candy that was made up in his own head.

Bears Aren't Green! ...Or Are They?
Summary: Logan doesn't understand why Patton is colouring his bear green. In point of fact, bears aren't green! But what if it's an imaginary bear? Can they be green?
Warnings: A meltdown scene, not super graphic, but it is a meltdown
A/N: Agere Logan, Roman and Patton angst-turned-fluff with a slice of tween!agere Remus because yes :3
Logan, Roman and Patton were all colouring together. Logan was colouring a picture of a spaceship, Roman was colouring in a little prince, and Patton's picture was a bear. Logan was colouring his picture the same colours as his toy spaceship, blue and red, because it made sense. Roman was colouring the prince's cape red, and the crown yellow. That made sense too. What didn't make sense, however, was that Patton was colouring his bear green.
"In point of fact, bears aren't green," Logan stated. Patton looked up from his paper.
"They're usually brown or black. Or white. But never green," Logan continued. Patton turned to Roman, unsure what to do.
"You can colour your bear green if you want to, Patton," Roman assured the youngest one.
"But they're not green!" Logan argued. He was getting frustrated, not understanding how a bear could possibly be green.
"Imaginary bears can be green, Logan," Roman explained. Logan frowned.
"But... It's wrong! He's colouring it wrong!" Logan pointed to Patton. At this point, the youngest one had stopped colouring the bear. He didn't want to make Logan upset by doing it wrong. He hugged his frog plushie close to his chest, silent tears dwelling in his eyes.
"You're making Patton upset, Logan," Roman reprimanded, moving closer to Patton so that he could give him a hug.
"But bears aren't green!" Logan crossed his arms stubbornly.
"Patton can colour his bear whatever colour he wants to, Logan!" Roman jumped to the youngest one's defense.
"But... Bears aren't green! He's doing it wrong!" Logan repeated his previous argument, too frustrated and confused to be able to come up with a new one.
"You can't do it wrong, there's no rules to colouring!" Roman argued. Logan didn't know how to put his thoughts into words anymore. Instead, he huffed, frustrated tears dwelling into his eyes. Roman sighed. It was his duty, as the oldest, to settle this. Only...he didn't know how.
"Logan, why do you care so much about what colour the bear is?" he asked. He wanted to understand the middle one's point of view.
"Not green," Logan muttered, his frustration and confusion limiting his vocabulary.
"Why not?"
"Not! Green!" Logan yelled, grabbing the green crayon and chucking it with all his might. It went flying to the wall, and split in half.
"Logan! You know we don't throw stuff!" Roman reprimanded, as Patton hid behind the oldest Little.
"What's going on here, what's all this ruckus?" Janus asked from the doorway, having been alerted by the noise.
"Not! Green! Not! Green! Not! Green!" Logan kept repeating like a broken record, banging his temples with his fists.
"We were colouring, and then Logan got upset because bears aren't green, and then Patton got upset that Logan got upset, and now I don't know what to do!" Roman explained, the pressure getting him to tear up now as well.
"I'm sure you did your best, my little prince. Let the grown-ups handle it now," Janus gently pet Roman's head. The snake summoned Virgil for help, and with that, the caregivers set to help the Littles. Virgil took Logan to his designated Quiet Room to calm down, meanwhile Janus stayed in the nursery with Roman and Patton.
"Think you could tell me what got you so upset?" Virgil asked the now calmed down Logan. They were both sitting on bean bags, and fidgeting with Tangles. Virgil's was black and purple, whereas Logan's was metallic indigo. Logan also had a weighted lap pad on his lap.
"Not green," Logan muttered.
"Bears aren't green?" Virgil confirmed, having been filled in on what had happened by Janus. Logan nodded.
"Did it confuse you that Patton was colouring his bear green?" Virgil asked.
"Not green!"
"Alright, I hear you. And you're right, real bears aren't green," Virgil spoke gently. Logan nodded again, keeping his eyes to his Tangle. He was glad someone was understanding him.
"But you know, the cool thing about imaginary bears is that they can be whatever colour you want! Even green," the emo continued.
"If you want to colour your pictures accurate to the real world, that's totally cool. But if Patton wants to colour his pictures differently, that's okay too. Right?" Virgil concluded. Logan nodded hesitantly. The caregiver didn't fail to catch that.
"Tell me what's going on in that little head of yours," he said. Logan stayed quiet, tensing slightly.
"Is it hard to put it into words?" Virgil sympathised. Logan nodded, relaxing again.
"How about this?" Virgil pulled out his phone, opening it to an AAC app that he had installed. He offered it to Logan, but to his surprise, the boy shook his head.
"No?" the caregiver asked. Logan shook his head again. Virgil pocketed his phone, not quite sure how to go from here. For a moment, they both sat in silence, fidgeting with their respective Tangles.
"Why green?" Logan suddenly broke the silence.
"Oh, why did Patton colour his bear green?" Virgil confirmed Logan's question again, receiving a nod in response.
"Hm, well, I don't know. Do you think he needs a reason?" the emo gently encouraged Logan to think. The child thought for a moment, before shrugging uncertainly.
"Could he have wanted to colour his bear like Clover?" Virgil helped out. Logan processed for a moment before nodding slightly. It did make sense that Patton would want to colour the bear like his plushie. The small Logic's eyebrows furrowed as his shoulders slumped, his gaze fixating somewhere between his lap and the Tangle between his fingers. Virgil took note of this.
"What's wrong?" he gently asked. Logan didn't answer right away, needing some time to collect his swarming thoughts.
"M I... M I bad?" he mumbled, looking up in the caregiver's eyes for just a moment before averting his gaze again, eye contact still being too uncomfortable.
"No, of course you're not bad, bud! You just got confused is all, mistakes happen," Virgil assured the little boy.
"Don't like making mistakes..."
"Aw, I know. But you know, you could fix it by apologising to Patton." Logan perked up slightly at Virgil's suggestion.
"How?"
"I might have an idea," Virgil smiled surreptitiously.
Some time passed before Virgil and Logan returned to the nursery room. Patton and Roman were contently building a castle out of some blocks, Patton mainly cuddling with Clover and occasionally handing Roman a block. The youngest one was surrounded by plushies, amongst them the frog from earlier. Janus was watching over the two with Remus by his side, the latter having regressed to a tween and now entertaining himself with his iPad.
"Patton? Logan has something he'd like to say to you," Virgil gently announced their entrance. Patton tentatively looked up as everyone else was snapped out of their bubbles too.
"Um," Logan started, cluthing a piece of paper and a green crayon behind his back.
"Go on, it's okay," the caregiver encouraged softly.
Logan took a careful step forward, taking a deep breath.
"I'm– I'm sorry!" he blurted out, taking another breath before continuing; "I'm not as good as Ro-Ro, but... here," he held out the card from behind his back. Patton reached for the card, curiously looking it over. When he noticed that there was text, he held it out to Roman.
"Ead?" he mumbled behind his pacifier.
"Of course I'll read it for you!" the prince said, taking the card in his own hands and holding it so that the both of them could see.
"It says: 'I'm sorry I made you upset. I didn't mean to. I didn't understand you wanted to colour Clover.' signed, Logan," Roman read outloud.
"And look! It's you and Clover!" the six-year-old pointed to the picture Logan had drawn, receiving a happy noise and a few hand flaps from the two-year-old.
"And... I'm sorry I broke the crayon. Vee helped me get you a new one. It's the exact same colour as Clover, so you can colour a new picture of her," Logan spoke nervously, holding out the new green crayon. Patton carefully took the crayon, carefully looking it over.
"What do we say?" Roman prompted softly.
"Ankoo!" Patton squeaked, before carefully standing up and toddling to Logan, holding out his arms. The four-year-old opened his arms, letting the toddler collide into him.
"Wuvoo!" the two-year-old declared, squeezing Logan tightly. Logan had to process for a moment before realising to answer the hug. He smiled in relief, his eyes glistening slightly.
"...I love you too."

The difference between nightmares and bad dreams.
Agere Logan, cg Virgil, Cg Patton.
They weren't nightmares. He didn't wake up crying or shaking like the others did when they had nightmares. He didn't have any confusion about what was happening. He knew he had been asleep, his dreams were unpleasant and then he woke up.
There was no need for him to go find someone to help him calm the nervousness. Logan didn't wake up in a cold sweat like Virgil did, he didn't scream out like Roman did, he didn't shake like Patton. He wasn't confused at what was dream or not like Janus would be and he didn't need to have someone tell him he was fine!
He knew he was fine. He had unpleasant dreams all the time. If he got unnerved by the dark he turned his light on and got to work. He didn't go back to sleep, not when he knew he was just going to have more unpleasant dreams. What was the point of sleep if it stressed him out more than helped? Besides, he wasn't real he didn't need sleep.
Logan knew he was lying to himself but he couldn't tell what parts were the lies. Maybe he wasn't lying so much as he was wrong. That was a thought that made going and asking someone for help not an option. He was stubborn and he didn't need help.
He might want it though. He had already been awake for four hours, barely sleeping for two before his dreams had forced him out of bed and to his desk. He wasn't working tonight. At least he had started off working but ended up playing with his pens as he regressed. He knew there was a moment where he realized he was regressed but since he didn't regress for a bad reason he was fine to be by himself.
That made sense. He should only need someone to watch him when he needed help the most. It was too early to watch anyone else up. He couldn’t make sense of the clock so he was just listening for someone else to start moving around outside. Then it would be awake time- morning and he could go hang out.
Just hang out, he didn't need watching!
He heard a door open quietly then close. Footsteps on the stairs. It sounded like Patton! Patton go up kinda early sometimes so maybe it was morning now. Logan opened his door slowly to make sure he didn't wake anybody else and tiptoed down the hall to the stairs.
Virgil was sitting on the couch with his weighted blanket wrapped around him looking upset, Patton was in the kitchen making something. Probably hot chocolate or tea since Virgil must have had a nightmare. He looked like he did. Logan almost jumped when Virgil looked at him and jumped.
"Jeez Lo don't sneak around in the dark." Virgil muttered as Logan walked over to the couch and sat down sideways so he could face Virgil.
Logan sat with his legs crossed, "Sorry. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, just...fucking nightmares am I right?" Virgil said with a shaky laugh. Logan glanced towards the kitchen when Virgil cursed but Patton didn't hear them so it was alright. He wasn't going to get Virgil in trouble for swearing.
"I don't get nightmares." Logan said flatly.
"I bet you don't have dreams at all." Virgil said. "You never talk about any of them."
Logan didn't want to argue. He wished Virgil was right, then he could sleep all night and he wouldn't have to spend so many hours alone in the nighttime before other people woke up.
"Logan!" Patton yelped as he stepped in the room with two mugs of tea from the smell, peppermint. Logan liked peppermint tea. He didn't have a nightmare so he didn't need any, he firmly reminded himself. Beside its for Virgil and Patton who have had a rough night. "What are you doing awake?"
Logan shrugged as he watched Virgil take the mug of tea from Patton and wrapping both hands around it. Most likely using the warmth from the mug to ground himself. Virgil tended to have the most lingering discomfort from nightmares. "You have a nightmare?" Patton asked offering Logan his mug of tea, Logan politely declined it.
"He doesn't get nightmares." Virgil said smiling a little bit. A wistful tone in his voice.
"A bad dream then?" Patton asked looking at Logan concerned. Logan could tell by the way Patton's tone had shifted just slightly that he knew that Logan was little.
"I'm fine." Logan said looking down to pick at a loose thread on the end of his pants.
"Lo did you have a bad dream?" Virgil asked.
"Yes." Logan admitted.
"I'll go make you a cup of tea." Patton said getting up.
"You don't have to. It was just a bad dream I'm fine!" Logan said a bit grumpy. Maybe a tiny teeny bit happy that they seemed to care even when it was just a bad dream.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Virgil asked, his tone also shifted now. Great they were trying to take care of him because he was little not Virgil who needed help!
"Because it's just a bad dream! it's not like a nightmare." Logan huffed grabbing a spare blanket and wrapping it around his shoulders. He had been an older kid but now he was getting younger and that wasn't fair! He shouldn't be upset just answering questions!
"Bad dreams are still upsetting." Patton said softly.
"Do you get bad dreams often?" Virgil asked as Logan refused to look up at either of them.
"Maybe." Logan muttered.
"You are allowed to ask for help ducky." Patton said firmly pushing his untouched mug of tea into Logan's hands. Patton stood to go make himself another cup and gave Virgil a glance that Logan couldn't read.
"What makes a bad dream not a nightmare?" Virgil asked. Logan sipped at the peppermint tea and hummed before answering.
"It's not so bad that you have to have help." Logan said.
"So bad dreams aren't scary?" Virgil asked scooting closer to Logan and letting him curl up against him.
"They can be! My dreams can be really scary." Logan said hugging the warm mug to his chest, the warmth reminding him that he didn't need to be afraid of the shadows.
"Then why aren't they nightmares?" Virgil asked.
"I don't wake up screaming, or confused, or crying." Logan listed off. "So it can't be a nightmare!"
"If someone else had one of your bad dreams do you think they would call it a nightmare?" Virgil asking making Logan think.
"I think so." Logan said, a bit grumpy to admit that he might have nightmares after he said he didn't.
"Well nightmares or bad dreams." Patton said returning. "My door is always open."
Virgil gave Logan a one armed hug and seconded that.
Next time Logan woke up in the middle of the night he would go to Virgil's room and be reassured that everything was fine. He would crawl into bed with him and they would sleep untill morning, Logan waking up feeling better rested then he had in months.
For now he would drink his tea and listen to Patton and Virgil talk about light topics to ease the mood.

Janus and Logan love to tease and make fun of each other. They're really close and know they're both joking.
One day, Janus teasingly treats Logan as a child, but the soft speaking voice and the words he says causes Logan to regress . And now Janus has an actual child Logan to take care of.

i bet logan asks so many questions when he’s little
“why did we invent swear words if we can’t say them”
“how did we invent the first tool if we didn’t have tools yet”
“how do i know im real and not in someone else’s dream”
the list goes on and on

Day 16: Orange and Black!
Logan stood in the kitchen entrance bashfully, hiding his card behind his back, waiting for Roman to notice him. He really wanted to show him what he had made, but was a bit nervous as well. Even though he was regressed, he still was hyper aware that he was Logic, and Romanw as Creativity. So for him to try and be creative, it was a bit…
He just hoped that isn’t how Roman thought.
He still hadn’t found the courage to speak up to gain Roman’s attention. He was standing at the fridge, staring into it. It was the second time Roman had gone into the fridge looking for something, but not ever taking anything out.
“I know I want SOMETHING, I just don’t know--” Roman stopped mid sentence when he turned around, and finally noticed Logan. Logan felt his face heat up and he immediately looked away, gripping his card tighter.
“Hey ‘Silent but Nerdy’, what are you doing?” Roman asked with a smile. Logan felt a bit of his confidence waiver at the teasing, since it meant Roman hadn’t realized he was regressed. He bit his cheek, trying to be brave like Roman. He would never ever be scared to show off his work.
“Made you something for Halloween.” Logan admitted, taking a tentative step into the kitchen, still hiding the card, just in case he last minute decided to not give it to his caregiver. Roman tilted his head in confusion.
“You MADE me something?” Roman asked for clarification, and Logan nodded once, before very quickly throwing the card onto the table, so he couldn’t change his mind anymore. Roman took a second to look it over, before recognition filled his eyes.
“Oh! My stars, do I have a little cosmonaut with me?” Roman asked, eyes lighting up, and Logan felt himself smile a tick. It had been a few months since he last fully regressed, what with filming and planning and editing and writing, but with the holiday coming up, Logan was no longer able to fight its call.
“I did it when I woke up.” He explained. It had still been dark when he woke up, so he had used his nightlight to draw the picture. And he used his best hand writing and everything. “Did it for Halloween, used the right colors black and orange!” Logan was especially proud of himself for that.
“You did amazing, my little prince! Now, come here!” Roman cheered as he scooped Logan into a hug. The boy laughed in delight, and allowed himself to truly and fully slip back into that comforting regression he hadn’t had in a long time.
+++
Roman ran his fingers through Logan’s hair as the little guy napped. He had fallen asleep with his head right on Roman’s lap after playing all morning, and it would have been cruel if Roman were to try and move. He looked over the card Logan had made him once more, admiring the little bats he had drawn, and how hard he clearly had worked to make sure each word was spelled correctly.
“Have fun?” A voice spoke up. Roman looked over to the stairs and saw Janus walking down them. Roman smirked and waved him over.
“So much fun, I’ve missed my little star.” Roman admitted, fondness in his voice. He then held the card up for Janus to see. “Look what he made me, my little creative guy!” Roman praised. Logan didn’t use his creativity often, but everytime he did, Roman was always so so proud of him.
“Those are some…interesting color choices.” Janus said as he observed the card. Roman chuckled as Janus stared at the olive green and dark blue letters.
“Yeah… I think Logan might be a bit colorblind.”

Logan's Starry Night
Summary: Logan isn't feeling sleepy. Star can't quite put stars finger on what this feeling is. Could it simply be a need for comfort?
Warnings: None that I can think of! Let me know if there's something I should list!
A/N: Some agere Star/Stars Logan for your agere Star/Stars Logan needs! Because self projection go brrrrrr hehe :3 Also, cg Janus for your cg Janus needs!
Logan was definitely supposed to be asleep by now, given that star was regressed. Star definitely wasn't supposed to be outside, swinging and looking at the beautiful night sky. However, that's exactly what star was doing. The stars in the sky were just so mesmerizing that Logan couldn't stop looking at them. Couldn't stop thinking about them. The sky was completely clear, the stars twinkling and the moon glowing. Everything was peaceful and quiet. Just how Logan liked.
So why did star feel the way star did? Star didn't like it when star felt like this. Star didn't like feelings in general. They were so confusing, and star didn't understand them at all. If anyone ever asked Logan how star was feeling, star couldn't answer. It's not that star didn't know the words, star did. Star just didn't know how to apply them to starself. Simple definitions like "happy" or "sad" just never quite fit.
Star stopped the swing, and let out a deep sigh. Star was thinking about earlier. About how star had screamed at Remus. About how star had lost control. About how stars schedule was yet again disregarded. Logan's bottom lip trembled, as all these grown-up thoughts kept circling in stars mind. Originally star had wanted to regress tonight specifically to get away from these thoughts for a while, but it seemed like they didn't want to leave star alone. So, Logan jumped down from stars swing, and decided to go to the sandpit instead. Maybe if star played with stars toy cars and spaceships for a bit, star could distract starself from the unpleasant thoughts?
Logan got to the sandpit, and picked up a white-and-red toy spaceship. Star liked it a lot, but it wasn't stars favourite. Stars favourite was an indigo and purple one, and star always kept it in stars room where it would be safe. Logan didn't feel like going inside though, so white-and-red would do. Star sat on the grass next to the sandpit, and proceeded to fly stars spaceship, making wooshing sounds for good measure. After a moment, Logan set the toy back down, letting out another sigh. This didn't feel right either. Everything felt wrong, and Logan didn't like it. Star got up, and decided to just pace around the yard for a bit. Maybe stimming would help? So, star begun pacing. Occasionally, star would flap stars hands, or chew on stars UFO shaped chewie necklace. Star tried repeating words and humming and quietly singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Star tried jumping, star tried stretching, star tried everything.
Logan sighed, having made stars way back to the swing. Star still felt off. Would stargazing do the trick? Logan guessed it wouldn't hurt to try, so star decided to lay down on the grass and find out. Star wanted to find some constellations.
"Ursa Major. Ursa Minor. Draco. Leo. Leo Minor. Lynx," each time Logan spotted a constellation, star pointed to it and said it's name outloud to starself. Star kept spotting and naming constellations, completely unaware of the passage of time.
Janus had woken up to get a glass of water, and was now sneaking back to his room. However, as he glanced out the window on his way, he could've sworn he saw Logan laying on the grass. Janus stopped in his tracks, and rubbed his eyes to make sure they weren't playing a trick on him. When he looked again, Logan was still on the grass. Now Janus was a little worried.
"Cama- Cami- Cam—"
"Camelopardalis," someone helped out. Logan got startled at the sudden voice, and hurriedly sat up. Star looked behind starself, and saw Janus.
"What are you doing up so late, darling?" the scaley Side asked, quickly picking up the fact that Logan was regressed. Star was wearing stars overalls and a long-sleeved shirt, clearly having no intention what-so-ever of going to bed.
"I...couldn't sleep," Logan said, avoiding Janus' eyes.
"Did you try to?" Janus raised an eyebrow. Logan sheepishly shook stars head, still avoiding eye contact.
"What's wrong?"
"Don't wanna go to sleep," Logan mumbled, desperately trying to hide the fact that star was tearing up.
"Why not?" Janus asked, taking note of Logan's demeanour.
"Cause...Cause then it's tomorrow and have to be Big again," Logan's voice broke slightly, and star tried to be subtle at wiping stars eyes.
"A- And... And so much Big stuff to do, and... Tommy not listen! A- And the wedding! Everyo- Everyone hurting! Yelled at Re, I—" the boy's breathing got faster and heavier the more star spoke, and Logan was getting dangerously close to a meltdown. Star was gripping stars hair harshly, occasionally hitting stars temples.
"Logan, everything is okay. You're safe. Breathe, space cadet. Breathe. Are you okay with touching right now?" Janus immediately began soothing the child, sensing stars distress. Logan nodded, not able to speak, before all but launching starself into Janus' arms. The latter summoned his extra arms, before protectively wrapping them all around the sobbing Logan. Three wrapped around his torso, one cradling his head, and the last two gently stroking his back.
"Everything will be okay, Logan. I'll make sure of it," Janus muttered in the child's hair, having just decided that star would be taking at least tomorrow off. The two of them stayed there for a while, Logan crying starself out in Janus' lap. Logan's sobs slowly died down to sniffles, and briefly nodded off before waking back up.
"Let's get you to bed, hm, starchild?" Janus spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. Logan just nodded, too exhausted to talk. Stars fingers inched closer to stars mouth, but Janus caught them before they went in.
"Ah, no bud, your hands are dirty from being outside sweetheart. Use this until we can get you your pacifier, yeah?" he offered the now slightly smaller Logan his ChewFO. The toddler accepted it, contently nomming on it as Janus got up and carried star inside.
"Hm. I know you're tired, but I think we should give you a quick bath. You've got grass stains and dust all over you from playing outside," Janus mused. Logan was too tired and small to argue, so star just nodded lightly. Janus took off his own shoes before taking Logan's off too. He then carried the child to the bathroom, trying to be quiet so as to not wake the other Sides up.
"You wait here, okay? I'll go get your jammies and pacifier so we can get you all cozy after your bath," Janus set the child down on the floor, giving star a few bath toys to occupy starself with. Though, Logan looked so tired star might just sit and wait. Still, Janus thought it'd be better to be safe than sorry.
He hadn't taken long, but when Janus finally returned to the bathroom, Logan was already nodding off slightly. Star was struggling to keep stars eyes open, swaying a little from side to side.
"Such a sleepy baby you are," Janus coo'd, gently announcing his entrance. Logan perked up slightly, a whine escaping stars throat as star reached out to the caregiver with grabby hands.
"Aw, I know, let's get you all squeaky clean so you can finally sleep, hm?" Janus murmured as he began carefully undressing the baby. Once that was done, he moved to the bathtub, turning the water on and making sure it wasn't too cold or too hot before plugging the drain. He let it fill up, picking Logan's bath toys up and moving them in the tub. Once the tub was full, he turned off the faucet before picking Logan up.
"In we go," Janus sung softly, carefully placing the baby in the tub. Logan fussed a little, cranky from being overtired, but soon calmed when Janus handed star one of the bath toys, a giraffe that doubled as a teether. Star began nomming on it contently, letting Janus do all the work.
Before long, the baby was clean, diapered and dressed up in stars space-themed footed pyjamas. Janus was putting Logan to bed, having just clipped stars pacifier to stars pyjamas, when star kicked up a fuss again. Star began crying, stars feet kicking as star reached out to Janus with grabby hands.
"Shh, shh, little starlight, go to sleep love, you're safe," Janus shushed gently, offering Logan the pacifier. The baby took on to it gladly, suckling on it as star began to calm down and doze off. However, as soon as Janus attempted to set Logan down, star began fussing again, clinging tightly to Janus' shirt. The caregiver gave it a couple more times, but after the third unsuccessful attempt, he took the cue.
"Alright, alright, you can sleep with me on the couch tonight," he murmured. Logan really needed the comfort after all, having been so overworked and stressed lately. Janus was going to have to have a talk with Thomas later, they were all going to take some time off whether the host liked it or not.
The baby was out like a light by the time Janus got them both situated on the couch. The caregiver had made sure to set a bottle filled with water nearby, should Logan wake up thirsty. He checked that the baby was comfortable on his lap, under stars weighted blanket and with stars Crofter's bear mascot plushie tightly hugged to stars chest. Lastly, Janus gave a gentle kiss on top of Logan's head before finally allowing sleep to take over himself too.

IKEA
 Warnings- Food, bickering.
 Teen regressor Virgil
Little Regressor, Remus, Roman, Patton, Janus, and Logan.
A sleepover in an IKEA seemed like a weird idea. But when they thought about it, and having the imagination to make anything they wanted. Having tiny themed bed areas all close together in a large area with easy access to each other but also having their own room to move around? It sounded pretty good.
So Logan had a bunk over a desk space room, and Patton had a round bed with animals and a play mat. Remus and Roman shared a bunk bed in a castle shaped area. Virgil had a top bunk with a rope net shaped like a spider web to climb up to it. Janus had a canopy bed with thick curtains that were tied up at the moment. Everyone was running around between each other's spaces.
In the middle of the bedrooms there was a camping area set up with a picnic table with a mircowave and a fake fire. They normally use real fire when they all have a sleepover while big, but this time was for being little and since all of them except Virgil were under ten, having an open flame wasn’t the best idea.
Virgil being the oldest In teen space was microwaving the snacks, Popcorn, Pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, and Mac n cheese. Maybe not the healthiest meal but Virgil was in charge of the food so He would be making what he wanted. Besides, everyone else was going to enjoy the food too. So there really wasn't a problem.
Patton was helping Janus pick out a stuffed animal to sleep with from the large pile that he had next to his bed. Janus being on the younger toddler almost baby side, He had a black and gold paci firmly in his mouth and was watching Patton present different stuffed animals for Janus to inspect.
"A bear? no. That doesn't fit. Snake? no you need arm so it can hug you back." Patton said sorting through the plushies. Janus looked over at a stuffed bee and grabbed it hugging it to his chest. It was fuzzy and soft and black and gold! He made a humming noise as he made the bee 'fly'.. "OH that is cute too!"
Roman and Remus were arguing over who got to sleep on the top bunk. "I should be on the top cuz You got to last time!" Roman huffed as they both sat on the top bunk, the railing looking like stone walls of a castle.
"Well I should sleep up here and you sleep on the bottom cuz you roll out of bed all the time!" Remus pointed out.
"I do not! 'Sides, there is a rail! I can't roll out!" Roman argued.
"I bet you could anyway. You would roll so much you feel out and onto the floor and we would wake up to you crying." Remus said.
"I wouldn't cry! And I won't fall out!" Roman huffed crossing his arms. He did fall out of bed a lot and cry when it happened. "I should be on top with the railing cuz then I CAN'T roll off and the bottom doesn't have rails!"
"I thought you said you weren't gonna roll off!" Remus pointed out.
"I won't with the railing!" Roman argued back.
"Yes you will!"
"No I won't!"
They continued their back and forth as Logan made his way over to the picnic bench and sat down watching Virgil microwave the pizza rolls and play with Tarot cards while he did so.
Or rather he was sorting them out as he waited for the food to cook, like some magic game of solitaire. Logan watched as Virgil set aside the "Major" Cards, the ones with words on them and weren't like the four suits of the "minor". "Can I look at those?" Logan asked pointing to extra cards.
Virgil handed him the tarot cards as he found them, Logan spreading them out and looking at them. The cards were purple with pictures of people and creatures. Logan found the world, sun, moon, and star cards and set them aside as his own little galaxy of cards. Virgil smiled as he watched Logan trace the outline of the pictures.
Virgil pulled out the pizza rolls and set them to cool before pulling out the tray that had everyone's cups and filling them with punch. "I'm eating." Virgil yelled instead of food was ready. If he said that the food was ready everyone would just wander over eventually, if he said he was eating-
"Let me have some!" Remus yelled climbing down the ladder before Roman could making him yell and both of them race to get over there. Patton let Janus hold his hand as they made their way over. Janus sitting down next to Virgil and happily taking his sippy cup of punch. Bee still firmly hugged to his chest with one arm.
Virgil set up everyone's paper plates and handed it to them as they sat down. Remus and Roman on either side of Logan. Patton on Virgil's other side. "Why you got your cards out?" Patton asked.
"Are you gonna read my future?" Roman asked excited.
"It's gonna be you sleeping on the bottom bunk." Remus said in a sing song voice. Roman throw a chicken nuggets at him. Logan carefully moved the cards he had away from the twins so they didn't get them messy.
"Do wr have napkins?" Logan asked. "Janus is eating the Mac n cheese with his hands. " Janus had let his paci fall, hanging by the clip and was eating his Mac n cheese with his fingers. He giggled as he saw the exasperated face Virgil made when he saw him.
"Yeah there are napkins." Virgil said, Patton grabbed the paper napkins and handed some to Virgil before giving the rest to Logan.
Other than the food toss between the twins and Janus trying to squirm away from getting clean, supper went smoothly. And they all settled down to watch a movie before bed. They ended up watch Tarzan before Virgil said it was pjs time.
Virgil helped Janus get in his pjs and then got in his own. Logan and Patton managed fine. Remus and Roman got distracted fighting over the top bunk and Virgil had to walk over to get them to stop. "Alright! Since you two can't pick I will." Virgil pointed between the two of them, muttering under his breath. "Caught a tiger by the toe, My anxiety can not handle this." He ended up pointing at Remus. "ok Remus gets top bunk."
"WHAT?" Roman yelled.
"Yes! I got it!" Remus said sticking his tongue out at Roman before going to get changed.
Roman looked at Virgil betrayed. "That's not fair! Ree got to be on top last time!"
"Well then maybe you shouldn't try to start a food fight next time." Virgil said firmly. Roman huffed before stomping off to get changed. Virgil rolled his eyes. He was on his way to step up a board game before they went to sleep and saw Logan already in bed.
"What's going on?" He asked. Logan wiggled deeper under his covers, eyes already sliding closed.
"m sleepy. good night." Logan said making Virgil laughed under his breath at just how blunt Logan was when he got tired.
"Sleep well." Virgil said pressing a kiss to Logan's forehead before going to set up the board game further away from Logan's spot so they wouldn't disturb him. Logan peeked out at Virgil as he left before ducking fulling under the blankets and using the glow from his phone to look at his "galaxy tarot cards" some more.
Candy land was tense, Janus was dozing off leaning into Virgil's side, Remus and Roman weren't talking to each other and Patton was laying his chin on his puppy squish mellow and seemed to be almost drifting off to sleep too. Virgil was glad when the game ended with Patton winning and they could all go to sleep. He carried Janus to his bed and tucked him in with his bee plush. Paci in his mouth and he snuggled up in his blankets.
Virgil spent ten minutes piling stuffed animals around Patton after he was laying down. Surrounded by plushies, "Night night vee vee." Patton said before sleepily giggling.
"Night night Pat pat." Virgil said back watching his eyes already slid closed.
Remus and Roman were alright in bed, Roman pouting on the bottom bunk as Remus was worrying his lip on the top. "Hey, you guys ok?" Virgil asked softly.
"yes!" They both answered at the same time. "Night." Roman said rolling over so his back was to Virgil. Virgil frowned before looking over at Remus. Remus shrugged, "Good night vee."
"Stinky dreams." Virgil said, happy that it made Remus smile a bit. He went to his bed, climbing up the net and settling in his nest of blankets and pillows. His sleeping area was placed so he would be able to see everyone else easily. It was at the perfect height for him to feel safe from any under the bed monsters and see that everyone else was safe too.
Virgil grabbed his headphones and started watching some YouTube videos on his phone. 8 in the evening might be the littles bed time, but Virgil wasn't sleeping till at least 10.
---
In the morning Janus woke up no longer little and before anyone else got up. Patton had managed to knock almost all of his plushies off the bed, his limbs sprawled out. Logan was hugging cards to his chest, sound asleep peacefully. Virgil still had his headphones on and was sleeping with one foot hanging off the side of his bed. Roman and Remus were both asleep in the bottom bunk. half laying on each other.
Janus started a pot of coffee as he waited for everyone to wake. Watching as Roman woke up and yelped before shoving Remus out of the bunk, causing Remus to startle awake before laughing and hitting Roman with a pillow. Patton woke up and dragged himself over for a cup of coffee.
Logan woke up and got coffee next, the tarot cards placed on the table with the others. He said nothing about it so Janus didn't either. Patton was too sleepily to notice. Virgil woke up last and jolted upright and scanned the area before he relaxed and removed his headphones.
Janus smiled into his mug.
