While working on this comic I'm realizing it's gonna be a lot of pages and parts, which I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT, I'll be doing as much as I can over this weekend bc I'm addicted to this lol. But since I posted this WIP on my other accounts I'll share it here too. Luckily this comic won't be in color, only greyscale, so it'll motivate me to actually finish it LOL.
This is how my rough drafts/blocking looks before I do an actual clean second pass over it all.
Poppy nervous because she's about to rock Branch's world with the biggest news ever hehe.
God this AU is eating me alive.

Thetis with the arms of Achilles
I saw several mosaics depicting this motive and decided to try my hand at it as well.
Also, I just find Thetis to be quite interesting as a character. There’s gotta be something fundamentally Tragic about raising a child, knowing that he will most likely die very young.

noooo don’t advocate to get rid of one of the main character’s two best friends who narratively and symbolically has always represented home safety and stability in contrast to the one associated with change and risk that ultimately form a nice narrative balance between the things that change and the things that don’t because both are important in life when growing up she’s so cute ahahaha

Easter eggs dyed with red onions.
I spent a couple of hours this morning dyeing these. Wish I had a lot more time though, it's such a therapeutic activity for me, I love it.

bbc merlin - 04x02 The Darkest Hour, Part II
this kid carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. and no one really knows. and he's so loved, even without his magic. and he doesn't get it.
everything is crumbling, because he can't use his powers. but only just about two people even know. he's still all those things - brave, loyal, kind, etc etc - without his magic. and he doesn't see it.

So there's this very old, unfinished, funny as hell overwatch SFM series on YouTube called Overclocked that I discovered a while ago and I decided to draw some of my favorite funny screenshots
Hanzo and Cassidy both being fucking dumbasses / comic relief is so Relationship Goals™
There's also these redraws from ep 3 where the series randomly switched genres from lighthearted comedy to angsty horror for some reason
Though I LOVED the Reaper Sombra father daughter angst

Okay. So. I've been seeing people say that Oscar is underperforming. Y'ALL WHAT?
If we're talking about just this race, we're not going to talk about who's at fault for the touch that hit Oscar's front wing. However, he went from 19th to 13th in, like, 14 laps. That is good
Additionally, this is his second season in F1. I think that people are forgetting that, because he's doing so well. People are comparing him with Lando (obviously), and Carlos, and Lewis, who all have so many more years of experience than he does
To add on to my point, Oscar scored 97 points in his rookie season (we're looking at # of points instead of standings, because I feel like that's more fair). The only driver on the current grid to score more in their rookie season was Lewis Hamilton with 92 points. Max scored 49. Also in his rookie season, he won a sprint. Against Max.
Of course, Oscar will probably place lower than Lando. It makes sense. This is Lando's 6th season, it's Oscar's 2nd, and Lando will get priority. It's just how it works
Outside of F1, Oscar is insane. He won the Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula 3 championship, and the Formula 2 championship in successive rookie years. He's the first driver in history to ever do that. Like, dude is insane
Basically, in conclusion, Oscar is not underperforming. If anything, it feels like he's overperforming. He's doing very well
