Ok ok ok I'm not Tryna start discourse but bluestars prophecy was my first ever warriors book and bluestar will always be my favourite so I'm gonna make some counterpoints to you about her being a Smajor character

bluestar has always been led by an intense loyalty and dedication to those she loves and cares for - this includes her mum, her sister, her clan, eventually Firepaw when he joins the clan, and she has a VERY strong moral compass when it comes to doing the right thing - when she sees thistleclaw teaching tigerpaw to hurt a then baby scourge she very much discourages it and is against it

Afaik scott is Not like that, he doesn't have an emotional or love-driven moral code, he does things because they're smart decisions in the long term or because he wants to. Granted I havent seen a ton of his stuff but I have seen his limited life and 3rd life perspectives and he is very much a singular team player there, there to look after himself and well if people align with him that's great he's got allies (jimmy and Martyn) but he won't go out of his way to care for them

Bluestars defiance of starclan in the first series is BECAUSE she gave herself to them and what the warrior code demanded so much - yes she broke clan rules by having kids with crookedstar but she did everything in her power to make sure they'd have a happy life and felt terrible that thrushpelt was willing to say they were his to save her reputation. She didn't do it out of a selfish want, she only ever wanted to help her clan and those she loved, and her becoming clan leader is emblematic of that want. When she rejects starclan so wholeheartedly in the first series it's because THINGS KEEP GOING WRONG WHEN SHES TRIED SO HARD TO STOP THEM FROM DOING THAT - starclan has never cared about the sacrifices she made to keep her loved ones and clan safe, she lost her mother, her sister, her kits, her mate, literally everything, and things STILL KEEP GETTING WORSE. it's not a demand that she deserves to have everything good, it's a cry for help that shouldn't something go right after she's tried so hard???

C!Scott isn't like that. He puts himself above others and inherently believes he will get the best if he just plays his cards right, and he is good at it, he's very competent at lasting a long time in life series and getting what he wants - the ruthlessness of gem driven by desperation kills him in secret life, Martyn's complete fucking about face kills him in limited life, and I'm pretty sure it's etho who gets him out in 3rd life by luck. He doesn't plan to look after the ones he cares about, because he cares about himself first and foremost. Yeah you can argue when he doesn't get what he wants he gets annoyed, but his is less of a 'why don't I get this don't I deserve it' and more of a 'oh fuck this didn't work. Ok new plan double down on getting what I want by appeasing to people cos they're easy to read and therefore account for'

I don't doubt Scott would make a bluestar adjacent character if he made a warrior cats oc BUT his character would honestly be closer to darktail or ashfur than bluestar and that's that on that.

OKAY 1. this is fucking awesome thank you 2. i am going to do something new and exciting (advocate for scott instead of beating him to death with sticks) because unfortunately this bluestar info has only made me believe she is a smajor character even more.

As a general note when I talk about smajor characters as a collective here I’m referring to characters more in the realm of esmp/traffic/rats/pirates/etc, less vampire scott or necromancer scott who are intended to be villainous.

Scott characters tend to operate under a “If I am not a Good Person I may as well die” rule, and consequently abide by a strict moral code to keep themselves feeling clean. For instance: traffic Scott will never go back on his word, he will avoid dishonesty, and he won’t take from others unless he is sure that he can repay them. He will never betray his seasonal primary ally (even when they betray him first), and will often give people things just because they asked him nicely. He stakes a lot of his own identity on this, because it is through being a “good person” that he justifies his superiority (and, by extension, his own existence); in his mind he deserves the best and *is* the best because he is such a good person. When things don’t go his way, he thinks he doesn’t deserve it because he has been nothing but good, so he tries to place a reason. He often assumes that somebody must “have a vendetta” against him, even if this somebody is the world (see: him asking if limlife episode 1 boogeyman is some kind of joke played on him for not giving in to the boogey curse in Last Life.) which is very Bluestar to me, convinced that her misfortunes are a divine punishment.

This is all to say that Scott does have a strict moral code and deep sense of loyalty. Being a “good person” and devoted partner in the ways he understands it are so ingrained into what he is that I think he definitely has the capacity to be a Bluestar if he were raised being taught clan values, even if his internal systems are often built around never letting gross emotions be fully felt rather than what those emotions compel him to do.

How much scott genuinely cares about something is a forever undefinable concept #asks #he is genuinely a very good ally to have usually. like jimmy was very much the exception there #he does like helping people out he does. he’s just also emotionally detached so he tallies his favors and good deeds to bring up later if—#someone he’s helped decides to go against him. Very very random spontaneous au moment!!

•Vander let’s vi/pow live in a secluded cabin in the woods to get them away from his shady lifestyle (he wants to quit but silco and Co. want him dead) anyway vi does her best to protect them both but unfortunately Powder gets kidnapped. (They want to use her as leverage against Vander) And well,, vi as said above, does what she has to do to get her sis back. Brutally. In her rage she fucks up and leaves incriminating evidence behind, so, desperate, she goes to the only other person she knows.

•Caitlyn learns abt this and decides to protect Vi and fuck up evidence to help vi hide. Vi feels guilty for letting Caitlyn get caught up in her mess but caitlyn tbh doesn’t gaf (we Stan a morally questionable woman) and she just wants silco and co captured./ they r wanted for. A numerous amount of things, drugs, murder, etc.

•(Also vi befriended Caitlyn a bit before this happened. I was thinking that the two met after Cait caught Powder practicing her marksmanship in the woods. Caitlyn is a detective for the local town and is curious abt the two. Although a bit moreso of the scary woman who looks like she’s never seen a bed in her life lol.)

-Was also thinking of giving Vander and vi a unstable/complicated relationship. ?

•Vi loves Vander like a father (classic he took them in at a very young age blah blah) but still hates the fact that her and powder have been dragged into all this, also he kind is bad dad (sorry) and doesn’t know how to give vi the emotional support she needs/she still becomes basically a mom for powder since he’s usually never home.

-Vander is trying his best, very much reflective of how he is in canon. The whole, ‘I’m trying to keep u alive but it’s not enough to keep ur innocence safe’ thing.

Also Vander is worried about the fact Silco now knows of his kiddos, and seems to have shown an interest in powder (while she was kidnapped she offed some guys which showed off her talent with a gun and silco was like wow cool I could use that)

-also silco was present but pow nor Vi saw him/ he was quickly hidden by sevika after VI started going ham on his goons.

•Powder(nickname jinx, she still has a lot of mental issues but she’s getting treated so she’s not ..that bad) takes a liking to caitlyn when she realizes that she wouldn’t rat them out to the cops and also the classic ‘they both can shoot!’ Thing, I’m sucker for caitlyn and pow bonding

(Also potential for powder trying to get vi and cait together because she wants Vi to have someone to rely on that isn’t Vander and also sees VI’s too nervous/self deprecating to make a move on her obvious crush) :p

(A) attractive - what do they find attractive about u? how do they show this?

sean is attracted to anyone or anything that deviates the norm. dyed hair, unique background/perspective, and unconventional features. literally anything u think is unattractive and not up to the beauty standard about u, he probably rlly digs it. hell draw it in his journal always! but not in a way that comes across performative—he just draws u authentically. he doesnt feel the need to modify how u look in his art bc he thinks ure perfect as is (booo corny).

he shows his attraction through flesh-blazing, skull-burning staring. he analyzes his muses thoroughly after all... he knows where all ur freckles/moles are and can draw ur smile from sheer memory. in the months that he crushed on u, u couldn’t help but feel this pestering feeling of being watched in class constantly.

hes still a dorky teenage boy so if u share the same music taste as him or have the same hobbies hell geek out!! “no way she can skate AND listens to my favorite songs…” lyla will just roll his eyes at him in response. he acts like tom from 500 days of summer 😭

(B) baby - how do they act around kids?

sean definitely says he hates kids. hell talk about how annoying they are and use daniel as an example ALWAYS. that however does not hide the fact that he is REALLY good with kids. i wouldnt say its in a fatherly way but kids tend to look up to him as a cool older brother (even when he doesnt try to be one).

sean also secretly loves it when ur good with kids, despite him allegedly hating them. he cant help but grin ear-to-ear when he sees how happy u make daniel. once he becomes self-aware he tries to wipe his smile off asap. when u, sean, and daniel go out u guys are practically his parents. both of u know how to shut down daniels whining fast. albeit sean does more of the hushed, frustrated demands and u just try to defuse daniel.

(if u guys have ever seen the video of jake and tara with that baby thats how i imagine u guys with kids 😈 except ur both a mix of tara n jake)

honestly the two of u can never decide who’s big spooning and who’s little spooning. to solve this issue the two of u just kind of… stack on top of each other.

esteban will do his routine dad check up on the two of u (preventing teen pregnancy) and walk into u guys jenga-ed on top of each other. ur legs are a tangled mess and u look like two corpses laid on top of each other. scrolling through ur phones while stacked is the go-to. ull be muffled chuckling into sean’s stomach at random videos for an hour…

while cuddling sean always traces little drawings/words on ur body. when u ask him whats hes drawing hell probably say its a dick LMFAO. so romantic 🙄

at the beginning of ur relationship, sean always felt the need to be the “man” and cradle u like some big infant. overtime he got more comfortable and whenever u guys watch movies on the couch hell be sprawled out on top of ur lap. one arm up supporting his head and a leg propped up like a princess xoxo

(D) dates - what are dates with them like? what do they like to do?

concerts, fairs!!! and MOVIES for sure

sean casually drops half his check on good seats for one of ur guys favorite band. the two of u have a tradition of replaying their music for weeks until the concerts about to start. it literally does not matter how many times uve gone to concerts with sean—u guys stay excited every single time. the after concert high is so good and u guys always kiss in the car afterwards. the two of u mess up each other’s hair and shuffle back in ur seats with swollen lips. sean backs out the parking lot while awkwardly clearing his throat 😭

SEAN IS SUCH A BIG FAIR GUY. he gives less than two shits if the pop-up fairs are shady and will probably collapse at the slightest gust of wind. he WILL take u on all the janky rides and tease u for being freaked out. he holds ur hand while giggling like a lil boy on the ferris wheel bc the creaking starts to freak the both of u out. he also tries to win fair prizes for u and say its a “bullshit scam” when he loses.

u beg him to go into the photobooth and take cute little couple-esque photos. he says “fineee” after some convincing with a smile and he avoids ur gaze after too. he definitely secretly wanted to the whole time though!! when they print out, they come out with those face-adjusting filters. u guys are WHEEZING laughing in front of the slot where they regurgitate out those abominations. sean puts it on the back of his phone case bc he thinks its so hilarious 😭

sean is a film nerd considering he had goodlands on his laptop. hes definitely up to date on any movie releases and will want to watch anything new with u. u guys always dissect the movie aggressively afterwards. the both of u will forever and always argue about which characters u liked and didnt over some takeout.

(E) equal - are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

sean on the regular is passive. he never was the “dominant” type to like… back u into corners. in fact he was really awkward when u first met him. hes lowkey scared of women 😭

it took him a while to get comfortable/assertive. by “comfortable” i mean gaining the ability to tease u back LMAO. when he first gave u a snarky remark ur jaw kind of hung open and u guys HAVENT STOPPED SINCE. overall, sean usually was the one to wait for u to initiate something. he never wanted to put u in a situation ud be uncomfortable with.

(F) fight - would they be easy to forgive their s/o? how are they fighting?

u guys fight like an old married couple. playful arguments always happen but once it becomes serious/personal things go south. one thing leads to another and the two of u just get agitated with each other

when u guys do seriously fight sean eventually lets u have ur way ALWAYS. he always prioritizes what u need/feel in the end and is really good at saying sorry. a part of him feels like big fights indicate ull leave him so hell always choke out things like “i just dont wanna lose you” after arguments. it sounds really dramatic but he has DEEP-rooted abandonment issues. hell hold u—whether it be an embrace or ur hand just to feel comforted afterwards.

(G) gentle - how gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?

GAWWWWWWWWWDAUH sean is so incredibly very gentle. sure, he teases u sometimes but in the end, again, he always makes sure ur comfortable! he asks u if ur okay when u look clearly overstimulated/out of it.

physically, sean doesnt mess around. he will constantly playfully shove u, mess with ur hair, etc. obviously its never to the point where it hurts but this is the only way he can get his daily dose of pda, so!

(H) hugs - do they like hugs? how often do they do it? what are their hugs like?

sean is crazy on back hugs. he will always surprise u with one and he WILL trap u in it. ull be walking around his house and chatting with his leech-self wrapped around u. he likes nuzzling his nose in and u can feel his lips curl into a smile on the nape of ur neck when u make a joke (😢)

sean takes the opportunity to embrace u at any moment of privacy hes given. when daniel or esteban catches him he immediately flings off u and starts stuttering LMAO. hes kind of lanky so if anything his clothes are what cushion u. BUT he is very warm and is a personal heater #tbh. who needs a coat when u have sean???

(I) i love you - how fast did they say the l-word?

i feel sean is VERY quick to fall in love but takes forever to actually utter the words out. he will have a love at first sight moment with u and only have the feelings grow bigger and bigger as time goes on. sean is overall a reserved person and wouldnt go out of his way to tell u, no matter how much lyla encouraged him.

he would only say it once it becomes overbearing for him. like, to the point where the extent he loves u has become pervasive and PERSISTENT. it will just explode out of him at some pivotal moment. u guys will be laughing hysterically at something only u guys would laugh at. then, boom, it slips out like its something he had to swallow back down a hundred times before. because its so sudden, it will definitely catch u off guard.

he would repeat it because he didnt think u heard it the first time like a dork. his stomach acid is doing fucking somersaults at this point. u will visibly see this guy’s face drop and his hands start to fiddle anxiously. his eyes will kind of dart all over ur shocked face in fear. he’ll choke a lil “sorry i have no clue why i even said that-“

(J) jealousy - how jealous do they get? when do they get jealous?

sean is always a bit wary of specific guy friends or potential suitors u have in ur life. again, sean picks up on LOTS that most people brush over. he knows when people flirt with u and he always bites his tongue before he says anything.

whenever u talk about other people too much, he gets a little… sassy. ull be thanking some guy in ur class for giving u the answers and hell be grumbling “i wouldve gave them to u…” under his breath. u shoot a look at him and he just defensively puts his arms up LMAO. he never seems to stop either. the amount of times u caught him rolling his eyes… criminal.

(K) kisses - what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss u? where do they like to be kissed?

sean is so shy when it comes to kisses. when u first began dating, sean never kissed u without a shy “can i?” before. he never knew when was appropriate or if u wanted to kiss him at all. his ears would flare up in red and his eyebrows would furrow in concentration each time.

overtime, as he got more comfortable, sean began finding the “right times” himself. whenever u leave his house he always gives u a quick peck. daniel never misses his opportunity to scream “EWW” as loud as he can. sean will be like “one more” and smooch ur cheek and then say “wait another one” and just KEEP GOING. if he wore lipstick u would look like u were dunked in a pig’s blood.

smiling into the kiss happens without fail—every single time. sean cant help himself, hes a lover boy!! he will always slowly open his eyes and pray u wont catch him sneaking a look. once he pulls away, he laughs while covering his mouth with his wrist. he gets butterflies still, no matter how many times u kiss 😭 im sick.

(L) love language - what is his love language?

sean’s family is big on quality time so he definitely prioritizes it. impromptu hangouts are his absolute favorite and if he could, hed spend every hour he could with u. sean never fails to randomly invite u over and hold u at gunpoint to do family time with him, daniel, and esteban.

also sean is a big gift giver! he will always give u doodles of ur favorite characters and little things that remind him of u. u guys have matching pins, keychains, bracelets, etc. not only does he go all out, but he also knows EXACTLY what u like. again, sean is the most attentive bf ever. hes the kind of man who would spend hours making coraline dolls of u two.

(M) mornings - how are mornings spent with him?

sean is not a morning person. he is almost always running late to first period, so oftentimes u cover for him. he will come to class with messy hair and will lizard-blink at literally anything u say. when u tell him that u gave the teacher an excuse, hell let out a croak-ey "thanks" and he will on a 99% chance knock out right after. he'll probably dazily open his eyes at u every so often and go back to sleep LMAO.

on weekends, sean will... barely be awake for mornings. ull be up and ready, watching hawt dawg man on the couch with daniel while eating cereal. sean shortly comes out of his mancave, stretching and yawning. hell come to lean on ur shoulder and stare blankly at the screen. its never particularly productive but sean couldnt care less honestly.

(N) nicknames -what does he call u?

sean has a disdain for nicknames. uttering any of them out loud just seemed so embarrassing to him… unless he’s making fun of them. he does however love “girlfriend.” its not exactly a nickname but he loves saying ur his girlfriend or “my girlfriends coming over” to people.

at a certain point he started using it in sentences that wouldn’t make sense. he’d go “hi girlfriend” every time he sees u. he’s so stew peed… 😢

(O) on cloud nine what is he like when he’s in love? is it obvious for others?

lyla never hears the end of u. shell be talking about something entirely unrelated and sean will be disassociating with his mouth open. when he finally snaps back into reality the first thing that comes out of his mouth is “do u think she would find it a turn off that u drive me everywhere?…“

“yeah obviously— were u even listening sean?”

“mm okay…” he just goes back to tuning her out again LMAO.

esteban will be asking for his tools from sean and he’d be totally zoned out just thinking about u. esteban will pull himself out from under the car and groan “augh… lover boy…” without sean even saying anything to him… so yes hes obvious.

(P) pda - is he upfront about your relationship? does he brag about you with others? or he rather shy to kiss, etc. when others are watching?

i already wrote on this but sean would rather keep intimate contact privately. that is, unless hes really in the heat of the moment. for example, at a concert hed just get so riled up. the lyrics of the song perfectly aligning with the way he feels about u MIGHTTT just make him collide lips with u, who knows! at special moments he won’t hesitate to kiss u but he’s just usually not a show-ey person.

too many times have the two of u attempted to sneak away to be romantic alone and gotten caught. whether it be lyla, esteban, daniel, or any of sean’s guy friends—they always tease u guys. lyla is so dramatic and she’d probably do the most, screaming and squawking when all she sees is sean hugging u 😭

(Q) quizzes - how much would they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they kind of forget everything?

just like i mentioned earlier, sean remembers every little thing. he knows which side of ur smile leans more toward, the distinctive mole on ur arm, etc etc etc. he loves u like how a husband with a camcorder loves his late wife <3

sean has pulled multiple joe goldbergs before u started dating. he will give u some small knick knack of ur favorite video game/show/band and ull thank him, visibly confused on when u mentioned it. hell notice and just go “i heard u talk about it like three months ago.” he only realizes HOURS LATER how creepy he sounded and his ass will start sliding down a wall dramatically in his room.

(R) rosy - what makes them blush?

sean is quick to blush. honestly, any time u guys are intimate in any sort of way his ears are probably burning up. he’ll try to hide that he’s nervous by giving u quick one-liners back but inside his heart is RACING.

(S) security - how protective are they? how would they protect you?

sean goes to great lengths to protect people he loves, like u. in relation to actual life is strange 2 lore, sean definitely does anything in his power to not involve u in the incident. if u try to contact him or find him, he’ll probably be EXTREMELY upset. at first, all he can think about is how much he wants u away from all this mess. he just wants u to live a normal life—and if that meant being far away from him he’d be okay with it. u would beg him to let u back in his life and eventually, with much hesitation, he’d oblige. keeping u alongside daniel on the road allowed u to see another side to sean. he had been hit and came back up so many times just for u. all he wants in his life is to keep u safe.

exempt from life is strange 2 lore, sean always does little things to keep u safe. there are many times where he treats u like daniel—aka a big baby LMAO. he’s big on acts of service as well so he’ll always make u walk on the inside of the sidewalk, hold ur hair away from ur face when it’s windy, help u jump off of places too high up, etc.

(T) try - how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?

he’s so bf coded of course he puts maximum effort at all times! he gets crafty for you every anniversary—a collection of drawings of u and a curated playlist/burnt cd is the MINIMUM he’s capable of. he’s the kind of boyfriend that can actually pick up on subtleties. something u mentioned liking once? it’s now in his cart.

when sean feels like switching it up he’ll try to do things he’s not used to like pottery and completely fail 😭. he has some place in the back of his closet for all the clunky diy gifts he’s tried to make for u in the past. despite this, he’ll give u a perfect trinket dish and u’ll wonder how he’s so good at everything… well, one day in his room he’ll ask u to go get something from his closet. u go inside and see a cardboard box with 15 versions of that very same trinket dish he made.

(U) understanding - how well do they know their partner?

sean does his best at understanding you as a person. when u talk about complicated emotions and unique experiences he doesn’t quite share, he’ll have this really pensive expression. he nods along and tries to understand ur perspective to the best of his ability. because of this, its really easy to open up to sean.

sean has you down to a T. hes so so so perceptive and knows when u feel uncomfortable. a small falter in ur smile, the glossy glint in ur eyes, ur lip quivering, he sees it ALL. he will immediately try to get u out of whatever situation ure in.

(V) vanity - how concerned are they with looks?

he could give less than two farts tbh. he loves when u look like a mess, more drawing opportunities for him. he however will make a big deal about looking good in front of u. he will be styling his hair for an hour in front of the mirror before going on a date with u, hogging the bathroom. he also practices the way he approaches u and lays out his outfits to impress u LMAO.

(X) xtra headcanon

sean loves cats so much. if u have a cat, he will spend the whole time at ur house trying to befriend them. bro will be crawling all over ur house on all fours... it gets to the point where u guys can never pass by a petsmart without sean making an impromptu visit to see the cats. plus, u guys have matching cat profile pictures!!!

(Y) yearning - how will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

sean coops up and calls and texts u as much as u can. its to the extent where he will send u nonsensical texts just so he can open ur guys' chat. ur phone will be vibrating so much and out of curiosity ull open it to just see random symbols and letters strung together. he'll send u random photos throughout the day that remind him of u and make unplanned video calls. u guys do mundane tasks together in silence for HOURS. they never fail to end with him just falling asleep on call.

(Z) zzz - what are their sleep habits?

I present, from my new Lanyon drinks the potion AU (working on the name), Robert Lanyon and his HJ7 Alter ego!

Taking pictures of colored pencil drawings is the bane of my existence, bc lighting is so annoying.

Anyways!!! I've settled on the first name Elias, bc I feel like Henry would help name him and Elias is a letter off from Alias (which means a fake/pen name), so I thought that'd be funny :3 still working on the last name tho.

Yes, that is Hyde's vest that Elias is wearing. Henry gave it to him on his first night alive after clearing everything up with him and Robert about what just happened to him. Since he's near Hyde's size, Jekyll decided that he needed some clothes, at least temporarily, but Elias refuses to give it back now, despite having his own clothes. Why? Because Henry gave it to him, and he loves Henry so much. it's also Hyde's vest, who's part of Henry, so by proxy he's gotta love him too, right? How could he hate any part of Henry?

Unlike Hyde, Elias isn't some self-proclaimed evil incarnate. He's very easy to read emotionally and is very honest to everyone around him. He's very open about his feelings, which are generally very quick to change, especially towards those he cares most about (*cough* JekyllandHyde *cough*-) and he strives for praise. He likes accomplishing things and has more of a liking for "sciency stuff", he also recalls most of the doctor things that Lanyon learned from university and isn't deterred by gross things and blood. He shares hyde's wanderlust and will run around town with him, though Elias prefers parks and nature over the slums of London, and he also enjoys the rooftops.

Timeline wise, Lanyon accidentally drinks the potion after all the blackfog and queen Lucy stuff, when they "kidnap" Hyde. Specifically, it happens right before Jekyll dumps all the HJ7 down the drain- like, right before. Lanyon kinda interrupts him doing that. Henry reenters the room in the middle of Lanyon's transformation, so he's there when Elias kinda "wakes up".

Anyways, please please PLEASE ask me questions about him, I'd love to answer them :3 also, I'm currently working on a fic for this!! The first chapter is almost done I think, I just need time to actually sit down and write.

Also jejvkekkvke character design is SO HARD, shout out to people who do it all the time. Also apologies if the skin looks off in any way, I've never really used colored pencils to color any characters, much less any colored characters, so I kinda had to figure it out as I went lmao.

🌀 so lets start off with NO END. NO END is basically a story that i made just usings ocs that ive thrown away, given up on and just stopped loving. in NO END, when a characters gets given up on, thrown away or is stopped being loved, they get stripped away from their usual lives and go or get teleported into, we could say, to this deep dark void of nothingness with the other characters. the story revolves around those characters trying to make their way out of that place while traveling to different universes and eventually with some 4th wall breaking elements,,,,, so.... yeah :D

🍄 then, lets move on to SFAP. so SFAP's story revolves around this guy named mark ( he's a whiteout btw ). so mark is basically an anxious wreck with no friends, 0 social life, anxiety and a bunch of unfortunate events that have made him spiral into the point that he's in now. one day he hears of a competition show called Search For A Place and decides to join bc his life just needs some flavor yk???? plus he thinks its a good opportunuty to improve and challenge himself + meet new people! and when he joins he actually meets some cool people, thats until everything falls apart when the competitions true nature gets revealed. first of all, the host is actually among the contestants and the show is led by their co-hosts because of that. if you lose a challenge, you get brutally murdered by the host in a dark secret room and because of how the host is among the contestants, the contestants have to find the host AND continue the challenges while also trying to not to die. theyre also trapped so they cant escape. and in the end, theres no prize. the story tells what happens to the contestants, marks growth as a person, the challenges he faces, his relationships and the other characters :D

🔨 so L.W. is about sentient objects that live in the house of a girl named Lucy. lucy has previously lost her home, family and "best friend" (omg they were roommates ) bc of an earthquake. so now shes in a new city with a whole new life waiting for her. but she doesnt know that the house she chose belonged to a witch years ago and there are sentient objects living inside it, sentient objects, now, with a purpose. so theres this other girl called Tiffany thats a bully of Lucy. lucy doesnt/cant do anything about the bullying because of her low self esteem and hardships about standing up, and one day,,,,, tiffany kills lucy. when this shows up on the news and lucy doesnt come home for a few days, the objects get worried and decide to search for her. then they remember this tiffany bitch exists and go to her house. but suprise suprise,,,, in the house are also other sentient objects that are rivals upon our lucys crew!! the rest is about how they react to other sentient objects, how they deal with the rivalry, what kind of events the rivalry brings, and.... lucy. also that tiffany mf. ( can you tell i hate tiffany )

SILVER:

I think most ppl don't know, but I used to really dislike Silver when I was first introduced to this character online. Not a game, no no, but YouTube AMV vids of this dude with cutesy shippy art of Silvaze. His portrayal was so degraded to me (I was 11 at that time?) that I believed he was a self-insert character for some popular artists to ship themselves with Blaze, in the girl-boss dynamic. Ofc, I looked for more info online and realised Silver was an actual character.

At that time I was playing Sonic Riders Zero Gravity and only unlocked Shadow/Rouge/Cream. After knowing what characters were avaliable, I tried my best to unlock the rest, including Silver. I also did not like his voice in English at that time, so much that I decided to switch the voice-overs to Japanese. And I also did not like it 😂 Not because it was grading! But more like, I was shocked by the drastic difference between the two. Kid me had to decide which portrayal I prefer more (ofc not aware of narrative difference of the scripts, I just chose based on my preference) and ended up with Japanese bc I vibe with the calm seriousness in the voice more. Eventually I did get used to both voices after more exposure of this character, watching playthrough videos online.

Talking about watching 06, I was not expecting him to be so different from my first impression of this "whiny/incapable/loser" kid. Silver actually was serious about fighting for his future, like a dedicated soldier. Blaze was *not* the girl-boss, she was on equal grounds with Silver. (Really... I was like 11/12, now that I think about it, how come ppl's comprehension skills so drastically apart that we can get totally different character interpretations?) I started to find charming traits on Silver, and that was when I started looking up for this character's info more & more.

And then I discovered the Rivals series. I watched the whole thing, 1&2, and this Espio character... Wait they're kinda nice tgt. (it was year 2012?? AAAAA I can't believe I'm still insane about Espilver/Silvespio, they're my sons now at this point 😭✨) I remember using Skype and talked about the ✨chemistry✨ between Silver & Espio, and my friend said I was tripping 😭

Anyway here's Espio:

At that time I didn't have that much knowledge on Espio, I just thought their Eng voice in Heroes sounded like he's dying in a few years with how gruff & grandpa it sounded LOL. Mostly I only draw him with Silver bc I realised no one shipped these two back then. (there was ppl but there was no tags for them) So I felt like, no, impossible. I need to COOK for them! So I started shipping them like FedEx with my limited skills 🥴

My Espio appriciation was mainly started by shipping him with Silver. As I reflect on why I enjoy this ship so much, I dug up traits that I like about Espio. He was helpful, supportive, and overall has a rather peaceful way of communicating with others (aka SILVER hhh). Compared to other characters, especially in Rivals, he was really chill and kept his head clear, and unconditionally aided Silver simply bc he knew he was helping someone with a good cause. Such admirable traits that I'd say are pretty rare even irl.

Still, Espio did not have that much screen time. His portrayal in my mind I do admit was half canon, half fanon. Silly ninja with goofy teammates that values teamwork & is capable of aiding others, plus saint-like patience & wisdom. (Haha...really, a lot of his traits are get from Rivals 2, his ways of interacting with individuals was way more informative than games & anime shows combined 🤧)

But yeah, with time I like these 2 characters even more, started to make all kinds of headcanons that I won't be able to elaborate here. The texts are already getting too long here 😂 I've imagined them, either tgt or separately, in fluff/angst/spice/AU/wholesome/dead dove/anything really bc I just enjoy these two so much 💕

It's kinda selfish to say, but with how little Espilver there was during that time, it was almost like they got a clean slate & I was not swayed by any other ppl's interpretation of these two for a few years. And ofc by time these two surely became my favorite characters. LOL I realised in my busy years of not drawing often, Silver & Espio were the only characters I drew 😂

I’ve come to realize this grimwalkers needed their own palisman! So here we go!

Alexander’s palisman was the easiest of them all since his hair have always reminded me of lions; Lions symbolize courage, protection, leadership, passionate relationships, and strong self-esteem. Lion is a powerful “golden leader” that uses integrity and compassion to help shift the world towards positive change.

Alexander is the eldest which means he has a strong sense of protection over his family, he also has a strong self confidence when he’s in charge of some project, he’s also the most passionate on his work and uses every recourse in his possession to make it absolute perfect.

His palisman also has Bat wings and that’s bc Bats have qualities of both the bird and the mouse, rendering this animal a symbol of ANDROGYNE; it also has strong associations with darkness and obscurity, as a creature of the night. In Christian terms, the bat is viewed as "the bird of the devil", an incarnation of the Prince of Darkness.

That way we can view the duality in Alexander’s character, being a charismatic leader, a golden statue and a responsible role model that also struggles to overcome his own struggles with being a control freak that will keep all of his teammates in the dark in favor of protecting them from the truth or to do what he thinks is the best.

Allegra’s palisman was originally meant to be a frog which represents Poison, Hallucination, Transcendence: The Alchemical Amphibian. One of the other forms of power that frogs and toads wield in many cultures and myths is chemical, or alchemical: frogs are viewed as the purveyors of poison or of powerful drugs, which can heal or induce hallucinations. Frogs also represent wealth, abundance, ancient wisdom, rebirth, and good luck.

THIS PALISMAN DESIGNS MIGHT CHANGE IN THE FUTURE

Allegra is the first youngest of the group (before hunter at least), that’s why i wanted to represent her intelligence and hyperactivity with an animal that is known for their energy but at the same time for their adaptation capability.

For some reason i also wanted to add a scavengers features to symbolize her interest in necromancy, she’s a very intelligent and curious person but she can’t let things go, much less people. Her necessity to know everything lets her to be TERRIFIED of death bc it’s unknown for her

This also led her to harm herself a lot in pursuit of understanding what death really feels like, it’s only luck that she didn’t accidentally ended up killing herself in one of her “experiments”, but somehow she seems to not notice or maybe she actively ignores it. She constantly hallucinates with death people talking to her, her own brain is trying to convince herself there’s life beyond death.

Isaiah’s palisman was quite a problem, I wasn’t convince with any of the animals was a good reflection of him. At first i wanted it to be a bird like a parrot or a monkey or a fenix, but none of them fit right for me. Then it hit me; Isaiah is a very lonely, depressed, melancholic and self-hated character. Someone who looks very thought and threatening but in reality he doesn’t care about anything.

That’s why his perfect companion would be a shark; in tarot Shark speaks of how you survive, and how willing you are to keep moving, even in the face of adversity. Shark is a feared predator, and if Shark is showing up in your life it does so to guide you through conflict and tough decision making. This creature reminds you of your personal power and the inner strength necessary to get rid of negativity.

I don’t know how to draw fishes but i did my best. i decided to draw it with fins that act like tiny little legs, just bc it looked cute, no other reason.

Isaiah is the second oldest, he can relate a lot to the others and acts like the guide they need when there’s a dangerous or stressful situations. When needed he’s the shield or the knife, but when not he just passes by calmly.

He has an unwillingness to be victimised or intimidated by others. He’s quite emotionless and steely yet always seemingly maintain his sense of calm and determination.

He’s constantly seem as the confidant, Alexander relies on him when things are getting too much for him and he’s constantly ask for guidance or help in personal matters. Isaiah is not really afraid of managing other people's vulnerability and emotions (“be and let be” ) but he would rather drown his own insecurities in alcohol than open up to the people he loves.

This leads him to an unhealthy coping mechanism in which he would close off and drink until he collapses. His self worth is base in how he manage to survive all the trauma in his life, contrary to Allegra he’s not scare of death but he doesn’t chases it either. He’s a very calm person, even if drunk he never chases problems unless someone he loves is in danger or distress.

Ask and ye shall receive

So, I've got two ways this could go so far (though feel free to ask for more and I will happily come up with more)

The first is my Shirai Ryu Kuai Liang and co au

Kuai Liang and Harumi have been best friends since they were kids and have a very friendly but still competitive relationship, often challenging each other to see who can master a technique first, or who can do the most pushups in one go etc. Half the clan has money on them getting together at some point, there's really just debate on when.

Hanzo joins when he's about 15, it's the first time he's ever been away from home or learned any sort of kombat so understandably he struggles a bit with it. Kuai Liang is the first person to reach out to him, helping him figure out a technique during training before being called up by the teacher to demonstrate. As Hanzo watches Kuai Liang move through the technique like he was born for it, he starts to develop a bit of a crush.

He ends up sitting with Kuai Liang and his family during meal times, which is when he meets Harumi, who has just come back from her first training mission. She welcomes him to the clan and adds more food to his plate, concerned that he's too skinny, and spends the rest of the meal telling him jokes and trying to get him to laugh. Hanzo develops another crush.

So Hanzo's having a bit of a bi panic bc both ppl hot and nice to him and also he's seen them spar with one another now and holy jesus is That burned into his retinas, Meanwhile, Kuai Liang and Harumi are fighting over him, setting up a competition to see who gets to kiss him first.

Poor, flustered Hanzo then gets treated to the two of them flirting with him in increasingly elaborate ways and he is very confused but also NOT complaining as he tries to flirt back (the first time he makes an innuendo to Kuai Liang, the cryomancer short circuits until Bi-Han pours a bucket of water over him) (Harumi fairs no better when it is her turn)

Harumi ends up winning the competition when she and Kuai Liang go over to Hanzo's to play board games, but only by a handful of seconds bc Hanzo immediately kisses Kuai Liang as well so they call it a draw.

The conversation for setting up boundaries and ground rules for their relationship was surprisingly quick, as everybody was already on the same page with what they wanted it just needed to be verbalized.

Option number 2, Harumi comes back in the timequake (along with Satoshi bc I am not a monster):

Hanzo and Kuai Liang are already together by this point, but the moment Hanzo sees Harumi, Kuai Liang (being a tad self destructive) takes a step back, assuming that their relationship is over bc why wouldn't it be? (He's wrong but he assumes)

After Kronika is defeated and the timeline is fixed (not reset bc fuck that), Hanzo brings Harumi and Satoshi back to the Fire Gardens and they catch up on what has happened since they've been gone. He tells them about Kuai Liang, kinda worried about her reaction, but she just smiles and says she's glad he wasn't alone.

Harumi then asks when Kuai Liang is going to arrive so that the three of them can talk and figure out how this is going to work, and Hanzo says that he's actually not sure bc he hasn't had a chance to ask Kuai Liang about it (the cryomancer kinda vanished as soon as the timequake was settled to give them space and he hasn't shown back up since) and is surprised when Harumi calls him an idiot ("Of course he thinks you're dumping him, Hanzo! You didn't talk to him!" "Well there wasn't exactly time!" "Oh by the elder gods- Go talk to your boyfriend!")

Kuai Liang decided to hideout in his now empty temple and Hanzo refuses to let him stay there, threatening to drag him to the Shriai Ryu if he must. Once there, the three of them finally talk and hash out some boundaries and ground rules.

At first, Harumi and Kuai Liang are just planning to share Hanzo, as they don't know each other, but over time they spend more time together and slowly develop feelings for one another (Hanzo is watching from the sidelines and encouraging them and cheering bc getting to watch the two people he loves fall in love is a gift he'd never dared to dream he'd get)

Satoshi is a little confused at first bc he's like, 7, but mostly he's just thrilled to have another parent. Kuai Liang is not immune to Satoshi's puppy dog eyes like Harumi and Hanzo are, so he Literally cannot say no to him and Satoshi takes Full advantage of that fact.

her name is still Sakura despite beng from sumeru but i'll explain that in a sec))

long and kinda sad/trauma filled/edgy backstory bc im incapable of making happy backstories for my self inserts))

She is the child of 2 adventurers from sumeru. as a toddler she always joined her parents' adventures. one day as they were going to inazuma through a ship they came across a big storm. that storm wrecked the ship and seperated her from her parents. no matter how much she tried to go near her parents and save them she couldnt do anything as a little girl. as what remained of the wrecked ship was sinking she hit her head, seeing a light blue light before falling unconscious.

she was later found by a wlw youkai couple on an inazuman shore unconscious, holding her plushie and a cryo vision, protected by a cryo shield. a shield that broke only when she woke up. Due to the head injuries and the trauma she suffered, she had forgotten alot of stuff including her own name and the faces of her parents. the 2 youkai decided to adopt her as they have always wanted a child and gave her the name sakura because of her pink eyes and flower shaped pupils. the 3 later moved to sumeru in order to be safe from the vision hunt decree.

Growing up she was surprisingly energetic and happy. she had a big imagination that made playing house with other kids so much fun and she gained a reputation for coming up with the wildest scenarios and stories.

She was never interested in being an academia researcher. her interest was more in visual arts and crafts. drawing, painting, crocheting etc. but her biggest passion was sharing her stories so she started practicing acting, later getting in zubeyr theater. quickly befriending alot of people there including Nilou.

due to her childlike nature people are very 50/50 about her. some find it cute, some dislike it. but her childish nature and big imagination caused her to be the only grown up who can dream and see the aranara in sumeru ((yeah even the akasha couldn't completely make her unable to dream, it limited her creativity alot tho))

in her dreams she would play with the aranara and lesser lord kusanali, who she knew as nahida and thought she is just a regular kid until the samsara incident.

outside of theater work she likes to take walks around the forest and draw anything she thinks is pretty. she always carries her pencils, brushes and paints in the bag she made herself.

in the archon quest she helped the traveler figure out they are in a repeating dream with nahida, who she found out is lesser lord kusanali way before the traveler.

if she was in the game she would probably appear in the nahida archon quest and any quest relating the aranara

for her world quest,i think it would be about her finding out about her birth parents and real name through the irminsul and her dreams with nahidas help. that would make for some emotional cutscenes xp

Playstyle: she is a cryo catalyst support and shielder. her skill makes a shield and creates energy particles when enemy hits the shield. her burst freezes enemies without needing hydro kinda like Zhongli's burst, also applies cryo to enemies and buffs elemental reaction dmg

i feel like she'd be a 5 star but idk y'all can decide

Yeah, some of the spoilers are unavoidable, but I’m sure there are a lot of things we still have no idea about, and we’re definitely going to enjoy them tremendously once we’re at that point~ I love how you pointed out that Toboso’s writing is FUN, and I agree with you completely. There is so much to dive into and think about in her stories, not just the major plot points. We’re super looking forward to checking all of it out. This is actually one of the reasons we want to wait until the book 7 is done and we’ve rewatched all of the previous chapters.

Floyd really is terrifying, and people do try to avoid him, and for a good reason indeed! But at the same time Floyd seems to be quite charming and popular?? I don’t know how exactly to describe it, I guess Floyd is the hell ride that you know for sure will kill you, but you can’t help but get drawn to it. Plus Floyd is good at capturing his prey lol

Oh we ship them quite strongly~ They’re kind of one of our favourite dynamics: a strict and rules-obsessed loud musclebrain + a snarky cynical little troll who is physically weak but know exactly what to say to get on the first guy’s nerves. It’s very specific I know lol

These two got to interact during the Glorious Masquerade and the Harveston events! I feel like every time they interact they end up pissing each other off, because Sebek really doesn’t like Idia’s attitude (he’s WHINY and he’s UNWORTHY he just CAN’T HAVE the same position as MALLEUS!) and Idia gets defensive and starts making fun of Sebek for being loud, self-righteous and not very smart.

You made such a good point, Anon; Sebek really is special in a way! He could stay as magicless as his dad, but he acts so loud and obnoxious about being a fae and worshipping Malleus Draconia of all people… he’s clearly misguided. But I feel like even if Rollo had this idea of making Sebek reconsider his own identity and being, he would change his mind the moment he sees Sebek again. He is so… so insufferable, it’s not worth it….

They could bond over their distrust of goats though, it would be so funny and almost cute. That one goat has made two mortal enemies lol

Also is Morro like apart of the Ninja team or more on the side and doing his own thing? Living his life(again). And for Seabound does Morro play a active role and have his powers acting up too since him and Nya are technically “not elemental masters” and are their own thing. I can see Morro feeling so guilty that Nya was the one that went and blaming himself, cause he isn't “needed for the team”(depending on how you're doing this of course and you seem to like angst as much as me). And where does he go when everyone seperates.

I'm not one to think TOO much about how canon characters would react to AU versions of themself, but I feel like Canon Jay would be like oh my First Master is this guy okay (spoiler alert he's not)

Since they both hide their traumas behind jokes, they'd probably see through each other pretty quick and have a mutual trauma dumping session lmao

i also decided that Skybound wouldn't get undone at the end of the season bc i Really Hate that plot point so Canon Jay (or at least how i draw him) and CM! Jay have different scars and I think it'd be funny for Canon Jay to be like "OH MY GOD THE SCARS FROM NADAKHAN ARE STILL ON YOUR FACE" and CM! Jay responding with "wELL WHY DOES YOURS LOOK LIKE A LIGHTNING BOLT SCRAPED DOWN THE SIDE OF YOUR FACE"

I think Morro would be like a temporary member of the team! He stays with them for a while to recuperate and get used to being alive again, but he does want to work out his own emotions and find a life and purpose outside of trying to be the green ninja. He has a room in the monastery and everything but he's only there like half the time. I DO think it'd be very interesting to have him play a role in Seabound, especially since wind and water would BOTH be affected by everything going down. I'm not sure exactly what that role would be since most of Seabound I was. Sobbing. And I haven't had the heart to rewatch it yet LMAO

Morro's biggest purpose in the AU so far is to help Jay, actually. The two become pretty close as Morro helps Jay go through the same issues HE went through in terms of coping with being an Alive Person again. This is partly self-indulgent bc I want Morro and Jay to be friends so bad so so so bad canon why did you take this from me they could've been pranksters together it wouLD'VE BEEN SO FUN-

also yes! my AU has much more angst than canon heehehehe I like the themes of hurt/comfort that angsty scenarios can provide, so I'm kinda fucking up Jay more than canon does heeheehehehe also it's kind of hard to make "trapped in a video game for half your life and not even realize you're a PERSON" not angsty

Skybound is 100% on me tho I looked at that season and went we did not see Jay suffer enough so it's on me to fix that and also fix the rest of the season too bc it kinda sucks i have a love-hate relationship with it

Vegas cases were always hard for Spencer. Between family drama and the possibility of running into people he grew up with, there was always something that could go wrong. The one thing he didn’t expect to be a problem though was the fact that he was banned from nearly every casino on the strip.

“Are you sure you’re allowed to be here?” Morgan said. He was eyeing Reid as the team rolled into the first casino. The unsub was killing dealers all across the city, so they had to visit the sites and Hotch insisted Spencer go because he would know these locations best. Spencer didn’t have the heart to tell him it was probably a bad idea.

“Yeah, I’m sure. Why do you ask?”

“Umm, you’re wearing a hat and told us not to introduce you to the owner. You also mumbled that it was good the security guard was new,” Emily retorted. Spencer had also been hiding behind the both of them as they came in.

“I might have been banned from this particular casino. Twice.”

“How do you get banned twice?”

“You wear a believable fake mustache and talk exclusively in Russian?” As much as he wished he was lying about the mustache, he wasn’t. Spencer was banned once when he was 16 for being 16. Luckily for him, they were nice because they hadn’t realized he was also counting cards, but in order to get back in after being banned from basically every casino he could get into, he invested in a convincing fake mustache and learned just enough Russian to be able to play. Now that time he was banned for counting cards, but he doesn’t like to talk about that.

“Reid, you should have stayed at the office!”

“Ow! There’s no need to hit me Emily,” Spencer said, rubbing his bicep where Emily shoved him. “There is no way the owner is going to recognize me. I promise. He could literally look at my ID and not be able to recognize me.” Even with his confidence, Reid still found himself hiding behind Morgan every time someone walked by in all black.

They all decided it would be best if Reid didn’t talk to the owner, so he was left to wander the casino. In hindsight, that was a horrible idea, but at the time it seemed he would be able to hide easiest among the crowds. It was a busy Friday night, so it was quite easy for Spencer to fold inconspicuously into the crowd. His long coat and flat brim hat obstructed his appearance just enough to seem nothing like himself let alone his 18-year-old self, but it was drawing an odd amount of attention from both patrons and staff alike. Not many people kept their coats on inside a sweaty Las Vegas casino, even in November.

“Umm, sir, I’m going to need to check your ID,” said one of the bar tenders when he tried to order a jack and coke. With how suspicious Reid felt, he definitely looked like some teen trying to look older. No one could hide a baby face like his, even under that hat.

“Of course, yeah, for sure. Let me just… here, here you go.” Reid struggled to pull his wallet out of his pocket. Usually, he just reaches for his credentials, but he didn’t want to reveal his FBI agent status just at this moment.

“Cool cool. You alright man? You seem kinda nervous.”

“Yeah, I’m alright. I’m cool. Just, uh, haven’t been to Vegas in a while.” He shifted as he took a drink from the bartender. “Is it usually this busy here?”

“I mean Fridays can still be a lot, but this is nowhere near our usual crowd. That killer has a lot of people skipping the tables, going straight for the slot machines.”

“Makes sense.” Reid took a sip of his drink and turned to observe the crowd by the nearest set of slot machines.

“Wait, are you a model or something? You just have this familiar look, and I swear I’ve seen your picture somewhere.” Reid started to panic.

“Nope! Thanks for the drink,” and with that, he set his drink down on the bar and started into the crowd. Out of his peripheral vision he could see the bar tender call over one of the security guards. They glanced back and pointed at him. Immediately freaked out, Reid headed back in the direction of his team members. He needed to get the hell out of here.

“Prentiss! Morgan! I think we have to get out of-,” And before he could get the rest of his phrase out, he bumped right into someone tall and sturdy, knocking off his hat. “I am so sorry, sir,” he said, reaching down for his hat. “I was looking for my friends.”

“Do I know you?” the figure said. When Spencer finally looked up at his face, his heart dropped into his stomach.

“Umm, no man, I don’t think I know you, or you know me. I’ve never been to Vegas before today,” he sputtered out as he looked into the face of the casino owner.

“That’s not what you told me.” The bartender Spencer ordered from suddenly emerged after him from the crowd, followed by the security guard he was speaking to. They held up a picture of 18-year-old Spencer in his mustache from the last time he was banned.

“He’s a fucking card counter. For all we know, he could be the killer,” spat the security guard as he went to pat him down. He quickly found his revolver holstered on his hip, snatching it from where it sat. “I’m gonna need to see your registration for open and concealed carry.”

“PRENTISS! MORGAN! I COULD USE SOME HELP!” Emily and Derek came sprinting down the carpeted corridor to where Reid was being placed in cuffs. The bar tender still had the image of the young mustached version of Spencer held up for everyone to see.

“I think one of my guys got your guy,” the owner said, gesturing to Spencer and the image. The two agents, who had their guns readied for a takedown, holstered their weapons, and started to cackle.

“That’s really the mustache you chose? It practically swallows your face!” Prentiss said before she couldn’t get any more words out.

“That’s one of our agents. Let me grab his credentials.” Morgan pulled Reid’s FBI credentials out of the front of the coat. After flashing them to the guard and the casino owner, they finally let him out of the cuffs.

“Hey, listen, I don’t like seeing you back here, but unfortunately I can’t say no to Federal agents. Just catch this guy and get out of my casino, alright?”

“Yes, sir. I’m so sorry sir.”

“Hey, do you think we could keep that picture? Our supervisor would get a kick out of it,” Emily said, much to Spencer’s objection.

“Be my guest.”

“Hotch is so gonna kill you, kid. And Garcia is gonna love this,” Morgan said. All Reid could do was sulk back to the SUV. This was going to be a long case.

like roy doesn’t even really have any friends besides jamie. keeley says “don’t you ever want something more than just the yoga mums?” and roy says “nope this suits me just fine” but c’mon we know he’s lying. his only friends are people who know nothing about him. and that’s how he likes it, he claims. so he can remain guarded and stoic and keep everything under control. having friends who know nothing about you is Better Actually because then nobody really gets you and if nobody gets you then nobody can hurt you.

AND THEN JAMIE COMES ALONG, jamie who is so similar to roy’s past self that it makes him want to scream sometimes, jamie who has so many parallels and shared life experiences with roy that they Get each other even if they don’t Like each other, and jamie decides “i want to be friends with roy now” and By God Nothing Will Stand In His Way, not even roy himself. so it’s just jamie going “hey can we be friends now :) can we be friends now :) can we be friends now :) can we be frien” for like a whole season straight until roy is finally like UGH. FINE.

and now they will be besties who got all of their hatred of each other out early on so that now they just Get each other. they get each other and they get how to keep each other in check. and jamie is the only one who could ever draw roy out of his shell! because of course he could! he gets roy out seeing the sights of amsterdam and teaches him how to ride a bike and takes him to see a windmill! you know what roy would’ve been doing if not for jamie? sulking for hours on end and that’s it. and that’s what he usually does at home too. but jamie JAMIE is the only one who can fucking pester him enough into going outside and Actually Enjoying Himself For Fucking Once. partially because roy just doesn’t wanna put up with jamie’s Persistence if he says no but also after a while i think it just becomes habit to, if jamie wants to go out and do something, just go with him. he might grumble and complain on the way there but he’ll be smiling on the way back :)

and from jamie’s perspective. HOO BOY. i mean hello roy kent??? childhood hero roy kent??? on the poster on his wall for 10 years roy kent hello???? there’s a reason jamie’s been trying so hard to get through to him. roy laughs at a joke jamie said once (1ce) and jamie is On Fucking Cloud Nine for the ENTIRE rest of the night. literally Beaming for hours on end.

and also i think just like. with his teammates and all that, jamie loves them, but he’s still often very concerned with how he comes off to them. he’s still trying to be very considerate about Being A Good Teammate, and being Cool, and being One Of The Lads. he likes the lads and hangs out with them but i think he worries about what they think of him a bit too much.

but with roy.... like he and roy were at each other’s throats for fucking months. they know how to handle each other’s bitchiness. jamie lashes out and says something mean to sam and sam will just get all sad puppy dog eyes until jamie’s guilt crushes him. but jamie says something mean to roy and roy is just like “fuck u dick” and jamie knows to shut his mouth and that’s that.

roy’s hated him and tolerated him and held him sobbing in his arms. they’ve both seen each other at their worst and ugliest and weakest. jamie doesn’t need to pretend to be nice bc roy knows hes a prick and jamie doesnt need to pretend to be “tough” because they’ve both seen each other cry before. so there’s no need to pretend anymore, there doesn’t have to be any work to keep up pretenses. there’s no more reputation left to burn!!! they know each other too well for that!!! which is very freeing for jamie i think as someone who’s so so obsessed with his image.

i just. roy jamie friendship has such the potential to heal them both SO SO MUCH and i need it. i need it for my soul. thank u
