Okay I kept thinking about this post and Steve being a BNF of Corroded Coffin message board of the internet of yore.

Alright so way back in the nineties Suzie hooks everyone up with the internet, yes? Yes. Eddie and Steve got together in '92 after some mutual pining and a few disastrous relationships that couldn't handle 1) Steve and Robin's general QPR clinginess 2) Eddie's intensity 3) the secrecy required if having multiple years of monster fighting and subsequent NDAs and the trauma associated therein. They're older and more settled and ready for an Adult Relationship.

Corroded Coffin is gaining traction and doing really well and the internet is still a brave new frontier, so Steve says to Eddie something like "I'm going to see if there's some message boards about you 🥰" and find them he sure does. So he makes accounts and posts under the username EddiesOnlyGroupie because he's hilarious and also the mods banned him from using EddieMunsonsHusband (he figured it was fine on the internet because nobody actually knew who he was but APPARENTLY NOT homophobia lives on in the digital age). He gets pretty well known in the Corroded Coffin fandom, most assuming he's a woman because he will go off on how hot Eddie looked at a gig. Like. Saying unhinged internet shit because 1) true and 2) he and Eddie think it's so funny. Everyone kinda believes the groupie thing too because of all the performance pics he's able to post and how he'll sometimes offer tidbits if knowledge about the band.

When they transition from chatrooms to livejournal etc he follows, with the same username. He's kind of a legend by the mid aughts. EOG is the acronym people use when discussing theories on his identity, and he's like "guys I'm literally his only groupie it's self explanatory. Guys why don't you believe me Eddie hasn't slept with anyone but me since 1992. We're basically married". He goes "it's not a mystery we literally are in love and Jeff and I go to Cubs games and cry when they inevitably lose together. Gareth is Godfather to my cats" (Eddie is still offended that he was not named Sassafras and Moonshine's godfather when Steve and Robin adopted them in '89). No one believes him.

Possibly because he still thirsts after Eddie and whenever someone posts a new Eddie pic those in the know wait for him to pop up with comments like "I want to bite his neck omg" "he has no ass but nobody is perfect I'll settle between his thighs anyway" and "literally a crime I am not married to him right now what the fuck" As twitter grows he swoops in to grab his handle, and follows a bunch of other CC fan accounts (some of them old friends, some of them new to the scene)(EOG 100% has his own fanlore page, which also has speculation on who he is and how he gets all the bts pics. It also doesn't believe when he says what it says on the tin. He's Eddie's only groupie.)

tumblr and tiktok come round and Steve is like. Openly horny on main. He's seen some shit go down on the internet but he's still commenting on Eddie fan edits that are title shit like "why am I attracted to this middle-aged white man" and "retro cc fancam" with things like "I'd let him lick the inside of my ear and only bring it up to tease him on special occasions" "his FINGERS" "back in '89 Jeff and Howie and Claire staged a mutany over this song because they were 'sick of Eddie only writing about biting bats' lmao" and "Jeff is my favourite member of cc"(just to stir the pot)

Eddie comes out in the 2010's and he's like "yeah I've been in a long term relationship with someone who is usually mostly a man kinda (gender is fucky) for the past twenty years, lol. His name's Steve. I love him a lot even if he mocks me online." and of course EOG comments "the mods of that old message board should have let me keep my original handle of EddieMunsonsHusband. When're you gonna make it reality, Munson? smh" and everyone is like Huh?? EOG is a MAN? And he's like yeah? Sometimes?? Not always?

(He 100% thinks this is him telling people he's Eddie's Steve. They don't get the message)

Anyways life goes on Steve continues to thirst under pictures of Eddie, he has his pronouns and name in his bio on twitter (Steve, he/him, she/her, Eddie Munson's first and only groupie 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ ) and continues to post behind the scenes photos that shockingly few people question (she always says "because I'm his groupie" though. He and Eddie think this is VERY funny and also true. Robin groans. They've been making the same joke for two decades.) and people believe it because Eddie has interacted EOG sometimes, liking photos or videos, commenting sometimes. (Steve has a more professional realname account that he rarely uses but Eddie usually tags Steve there)

And THEN Internet user EddiesOnlyGroupie says he's taking a few weeks off for her honeymoon because "I'm finally marrying the man of my dreams!" And people are happy for him but also bummed because Eddie is also taking a two week hiatus but EOG promises wedding and honeymoon photos. (Face reveal! Sorta!)((he doesn't get why people are excited because he's pretty sure he's been in a lot of Eddie's recent pictures, but whatever)

Imagine the Internet's surprise when Eddie Munson posts a collection of pictures spanning '86 to his 2016 wedding of him and Steve, including one of Steve looking seriously at an old desktop computer, captioned "Steve starting his internet career" and tags EOG.

Steve qrt with "I told yall. I'm his only groupie, and they should've let me keep EddieMunsonsHusband even if they WERE homophobic. Because now it's TRUE"

Y'know I'm not gonna argue that I'm a good or bad person bc that's in the eye of the beholder but I am so fucking sick of people judging the amount I do for pick a fucking global problem right now. Like I'm sorry but I am 16 years old and this isn't a YA trilogy so unlike them I can't take on the government with my two love interests. I don't have a job and the money I have from Christmas my mom is holding onto. I can't donate to places because I don't have anything to donate. My school is against me putting up posters because they don't want to make anyone feel pressured or make the school look antisemitic. My dads house is doing a shit job of boycotting and today my dad banned me from talking about Palestine in the house.

I can't give the stolen land I live on back to who originally owned it I don't even own it. I can't fix my education system I'm barely passing my classes bc of the lack of support for mental health shit.

Trial: Custom AI ChatBots

So I’m going to trial something. Those of you who have known me over the years, under whatever name I was using before Tumblr banned me again each time, will probably know I used to do custom captions, but that died down recently; mainly a mix of being swamped with requests and because when making them over and over it just gets repetitive in the end.

However, the last couple of months, I have found a new gooning addiction; AI Chatbots. I have gooned to so many recently it’s hot asf. And then I made a custom one for one of my followers, based on his real life friend. Someone he goons over constantly. I gave it her full name, and scenarios based on what he likes and has done. I gave it his name, their mutual friends names, her profile pic is a real pic of his friend. And now he is gooning non stop to talking to his “friend” telling her want a simp he is for her and seeing her react etc

So I’m going to trial this as it was fun. I say trial as if it’s anything like my caption requests I’m gonna get swamped with requests and not be able to cope with the amount coming in. However, I doubt this will be the case as I will need more info to make you a custom Chatbot rather than a caption etc.

That is bare minimum.

Any more information you provide will make the bot more realistic. Ok, let me get in on this shameful crush thing, I started baiting pedophiles online a few years back by saying that I was 13 (when I started I was, I am now 17) and then telling them I was into older guys and just saying that I wanted them and I wanted them to fly to me and take my virginity and I would do this until they would send me a dick pic or try to actually fly to me (I’d pick a big city nearby and not tell them my small town) and then I would call the police anonymously and tell them about the dude flying in or report them for sending a child a dick pic, but there’s this one dude I’ve been try to get me to send a dick pic for about a year now but it’s almost like he knows that I’m gonna get him banned and the police called if he does, but he was really nice to me, and he gave me actually good advice when my friend was gonna actually commit suicide and he’s supported me well my parents get like more neglectful and awful, and I’ve started getting a crush even though he’s fifty, and he knows in 17 and talks about how much he wants to breed my teen body and make me a teen mom and I really should stop talking to him, but I still really really want him to get banned, but over time i think he’s giving me a breeding kink because I keep starting to find it hot, and I should really block him beofre this gets further and nobody else knows about this

I know you know this isn't good for you. I'm sure you have other people in your life who know you and this situation better telling you that this isn't good for you. I'm not going to be condescending about this or just echo what you already know/hear regularly.

But I hope you understand that just because this man has done positive things, it doesn't make him your friend. It doesn't mean that he cares about you. Maybe he does genuinely believe that he cares about you. Maybe he doesn't. But nothing that he does or feels will override the negativities of this relationship. You seem to be a very strong and capable invidual, sure of yourself and your beliefs, but it can be hard to pull away from someone who has helped you, even if they hurt you, too. I hope you know there's nothing wrong with you or your wants, even if you want this man, even if you want the things he's talking about, even if you only want them because of him--none of that is inherently wrong or dirty or gross of you, and none of it means you're at fault.

I do think you should end all communication with him as soon as possible, and stop the vigilante side gig, mostly because this kind of thing is extremely dangerous and you could be doxxed by one of these men, stalked or worse--but even if you don't, I hope you never feel like you can't be honest and open about this part of your life with the people who care about you. And I hope you stay safe and loved in a way that is not harmful.

i have said multiple times before

i feel like nat would be the cool aunt to everyone's kids mainly

but if she did change her mind about having kids, she'd totally be a boy momma

i imagine she has two little boys (i also imagine they are through adoption as well)

she's definitely a cool mom, but she does lay down the law

def into the gentle parenting thing

the boys have a curfew as well as a loose schedule of when things should be done by

i also imagine she got her boys interested in sports because she takes them over to hang out with rooster, hangman, and bob's kids often

one of them is into little league and the other one plays soccer

so this officially makes her a soccer mom lmao

speaking of the playdates with the boy's kids,,

they have them semi-regularly

at least once or twice every two weeks

anyways phoenix totally embarrasses her kiddos when she comes to pick them up from practice, games, or school

she does things from playing her "old people music" directly quoted from her boys, ruffling their hair, or smothering them in kisses

i like to imagine that when phoenix takes her kids to visit her family, they always point out how similar they behave as to when she was a child

and when her boys grow up and become teens she totally sits them down for a talk

which includes the talk and that they need to treat people how they want to be treated

she very much emphasises the fact she doesn't wanna hear they got someone pregnant in their teens because they were being irresponsible

she raised them better than that

she doesn't have a dating ban unlike hangman, but she does tell her boys that they better not let love get in the way of their studies

and if it does become a problem she will talk to them about it

but for the most part she's chill about it

she definitely would love to meet whoever her boys choose as their partners though

and she isn't afraid to let them know her opinions after their partner leaves

she constantly lets them know how proud she is to be their mom and how proud she is of them

she never wants them to doubt that for a second

oh my god and when they graduate-

she's a whole mess

the boys (aka her kid's uncles) definitely tease her about being all teary eyed

she just punches their arm softly and mumbles about how she recalls they were equally a mess when their kids had their graduation

and at this point i imagine her boys are wayy taller than her

and the grad pics just show phoenix in the middle with her boys on either side towering over her

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” is now out, and I’m seeing it this weekend! I need this movie. I NEEEEEEEED IT! And so, to keep myself from going completely bonkers (more than I already have, I mean), I am pleased to present the last pre-movie review: “Nerf Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2-In-1 Optimus Prime Blaster!”

All of you know who Optimus Prime is and what Nerf is, so we’re just gonna skip the info dump. Instead, let’s talk about what exactly this toy even is. As the name of the toy obviously states, this is a Nerf gun styled after Optimus Prime. The thing that got my attention about this toy, though, is the fact that the Nerf gun also transforms into an Optimus Prime toy. It’s such a neat concept, and one I think kids will really like.

Now, before we get into the review proper, let’s address the elephant in the room. A lot of people got really pissy about the fact that this is an Optimus that turns into a gun instead of a Megatron that turns into one, since turning into a gun was the original Megatron’s whole thing. Well, there’s a few good reasons this toy isn’t Megatron, so let’s go through them.

Many American states have laws restricting or banning the sale of toy guns that could be mistaken for genuine firearms. Megatron is traditionally grey, silver, and black, and occasionally shades of green. It would be really easy to mistake a Nerf gun Megatron for a real gun, and that’s one of many ways kids get shot by panicked cops or other trigger-happy people in this country. Optimus, meanwhile, is predominantly red and blue, so a kid playing with him has a somewhat lower chance of being shot at by cops or anyone else. A lower chance, but sadly, not a zero percent chance.

Good guys sell better than bad guys. Financially, it makes more sense for Hasbro and Nerf to team up to make a toy of a hero like Optimus than it does to make a villain, especially since Optimus is the most well-known character in the entire franchise.

Megatron has not been confirmed to be in the movie. All the Megatron toys released for this movie are re-releases from previous toylines, but with the “Rise of the Beasts” logo on the packaging. Since this toy was made in a collaboration between Hasbro and Nerf, meaning the profits have to be split between the two companies makes more sense to make a toy of someone actually in the movie than it does to make one of someone not in the movie, because kids are more likely to buy the toy of the guy they just saw on the big screen.

In robot mode, Prime’s looks and articulation both suffer from the fact that he’s a working Nerf gun first and a toy robot second. From the front and top up, Prime looks good. He has the looks you expect from Optimus Prime by now. And then there’s the rest. Since his legs become the barrel of the Nerf gun, he ends up with cartoonishly long legs. Compared to the normal proportions of his top half, it’s a little jarring to suddenly see those super long legs. It’s like he’s wearing some sort of stilts and trying to hide it, and it is not going well.

...I just realized how awkward the orange barrel looks in robot mode.

The issues that come from being a Nerf gun become even clearer when we look at Prime from behind. Due to how a Nerf gun works, there wasn’t a way to make this toy so the gun’s handle could be folded down or removed without jacking up the price. So as a result, Prime has this giant blue growth sticking out of his back.

Robot Mode Optimus Prime has very limited articulation, as you would expect from a toy that’s meant to be a gun first and foremost. He has ball-jointed shoulders and elbows, and that’s really it. Since his legs are the barrel of the gun, they’re a mostly solid piece, with the only exception being the end of his long, solid leg part, which folds out of the way to not block the barrel for the gun. He also can’t hold anything in his hands, which is actually a letdown for me. I would have loved for him to be able to hold his own tiny Nerf gun.

Optimus Prime would go on to develop severe back pain.

Transforming Prime to gun mode and back is a pretty straightforward process, where the hardest part is just getting his arms positioned for gun mode, and even that’s not really a challenge. The whole transformation is quick and easy, which is partially caused by the fact that the entire body is a Nerf gun and the robot mode is the Nerf gun with limbs and a head, so transforming him is just getting those parts out of the way. My one issue is that, when putting Prime in robot mode, the barrel of the gun can sometimes make Prime’s legs not want to come together fully, which can make him fall backwards if you’re not careful, so do keep an eye on that.

I really like how the gun mode looks. It’s got a lot of visible Optimus details, such as the wheels his traditional truck mode has and the chest windows, which all make for a very stylized toy. It’s a really neat design, which at this point, I expect from Nerf after seeing some of their other Nerf guns. I’m very pleased with this look.

Turn him upside down and you can claim he’s a submarine or spaceship

Since Prime’s a Nerf gun, one thing we should definitely talk about is his fire power. After all, the point of a Nerf gun is to shoot your friends with it, and it would be kinda sad if the Nerf dart couldn’t even clear the couch. Well, I’m pleased to say that Prime has what I’d call decent range. He’s a smaller gun, so he won’t be hitting people across a field, but his power is good for his size. And remember, it’s not the size of Optimus Prime, it’s what you can do with him.

Optimus comes with two accessories, a pair of Nerf darts. Considering he’s a Nerf gun, this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone. What I do like is that he has a place to store the Nerf darts aside from just loading one in the gun, which would impede Prime’s ability to transform. Prime has a pair of dart holders that unfold on his back/the end of the gun, which do a very good job storing the darts, I haven’t had any issue with the holders being too loose or anything, which I admit was a concern of mine. As a bonus, when the darts are stored, they do a decent job emulating Prime’s smokestacks from his truck figures, albeit in bright Nerf colors.

The film’s epic climax: Unicron chokes to death on a Nerf dart.

“Nerf Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2-In-1 Optimus Prime Blaster“ is available at mass retail and can be found with the action figures, not the Nerf guns. He goes for about $20-$25 at retail, which is a little much, but a lot of online places are starting to carry him for about $17, which feels much more reasonable. While I’m not enamored with the legs and how he has a giant gun handle sticking out of his back, I do understand that those are sacrifices that had to be made due to the fact he’s a working Nerf gun. As is, I actually would recommend him for kids old enough and responsible enough to play with Nerf guns. I would also recommend him for adults responsible enough to play with Nerf guns. Basically, use good judgement before buying this for someone. “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” comes out this weekend, so this is the last Transformers review for now, and next week, we’ll be looking at toys of another beloved franchise that’s getting a movie soon, so come back then!
