KOSA Bill and why we shouldn't support it
The kosa bill is being supported by over 40 senators. Meaning it's a high risk of it getting passed. It is a human rights violation and they simply do not care. And our parents being able to see our phones isn't even the biggest issue, social media apps will have no choice but to simply not allow anyone to post about "controversial topics." This means topics on -politics -race -gender or sexuality -gun violence or simply gun information in general The kosa bill will affect anyone 16 and younger, however, it'll affect adults too, it will become extremely difficult to gather information on things happening in the world and I guarantee that's the entire reason they're supporting the bill in the first place The kosa bill will affect other countries, not only the US. Spread this message!

NOISEMAKERS of the Week
Women's Equality Day is observed each year in the month of August. The day celebrates the passage of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote on August 26, 1920. With the ratification of this amendment, millions of women across the country were finally able to make their voices heard by voting.
This week we celebrate as "Noisemakers of the Week" the trailblazing women who fought to deliver a better future for all American women. Suffrage activists such as Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony and Alice Paul defied danger, used their voices, and worked tirelessly for decades to realize what we know today as basic rights - the right to vote and own property.
The 2022 Women's Equality Day theme is: “Celebrating Women's Right to Vote" a right more important than ever in the wake of the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and eliminate a woman’s constitutional right to choose.
In acknowledging the day, The White House issued a Presidential Proclamation, reading in part:
"On August 26, 1920, after decades of hard-fought advocacy, women won the right to vote, and our Nation moved one step closer to living out our sacred ideal that all people are created equal. On Women’s Equality Day, we honor the movement for universal suffrage that led to the 19th Amendment, celebrate the progress of women over the years, and renew our commitment to advancing gender equity and protecting women’s rights." Arun Sengupta Empowering Lives Of Homeless Children
In India, many children live on the roadside. Such children spend their lives hopeless and hungry, living on the streets. Arun Sengupta is empowering thousands of children living on the streets of Calcutta by providing them education, shelter, and food.
Arun’s Childhood Struggles
Arun Sengupta lost his father in 1968. Arun’s mother turned to alcohol, and his sister started working to support the family. Unfortunately, Arun contracted Tuberculosis. He was thrown out of the neighborhood. He was abandoned and left to live on the streets filled with hopelessness. One day, he was recused by mother Teresa. He stayed in her care for two months, then moved on with his life.
Education and Job
Arun took up odd jobs to complete his education. After completing his education, he worked in the corporate world for 45 years. After retirement, Arun returned to Calcutta. He observed that the streets of Calcutta, even after twenty years, were filled with homeless and hopeless children living on the streets of Calcutta.
Birth of Notun Jibon
Life had given Arun a second chance. He had been through the same thing and was saved by Mother Teresa. He decided to do something about the situation of children living on the streets of Calcutta.
On New Year’s Eve, Arun, his wife, and a few colleagues distributed 200 blankets to the homeless kids sleeping on the streets. An NGO was established known as ‘Notun Jibon.’ In February 2019 Notun Jibon became a trust. The major focus of the organization was to teach underprivileged kids.
Suggested For You Motivational story of how Sabrcare is helping out children suffering from cancer by providing free assistance
Every morning, Arun started visiting different slums and teaching children. He would also play with them and feed them. Over the years, Arun has served over 3991 lives. He actively finds homeless kids and tries to help them.
Evening School For Children
Arun Sengupta and his team have also rescued sex workers from Kalighat. In 2019, an evening school was set up by Notun Jibon. The school provides evening snacks to the children. Various classes like sports, academic classes, art classes are held for the children. The school has employed the women who were rescued from Kalighat. They are referred to as ‘Nari Shakti.’
Read another interesting story of Dr Sunita Gandhi, who is changing lives of poor kids by making them literate.
Future Plans
During these COVID times, the women of the team ‘Nari Shakti’ are teaching women of Sunderban how to make mosquito nets. The beneficiaries are the widows of fishermen who lost their lives because of corona.
Many people support the organization by making huge donations. Arun has invested all his life’s savings in the organization’s development. Arun wishes to help more children and give them a second chance in life.

[𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐃𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘] First off, Salute to our American Queen @taylorswift for writing this song✨💗 It speaks more truth than anything else. In one song, our Queen has established the fact that still women are being judged for being women in this society. We tell we have got this society to accept feminism as a basic right. But the truth? Women are still being judged. While many are feminists in their thoughts as well as actions, there are still people who think that women are too 'unworthy'. In their view, women were born to serve men, and that they're too delicate to do a man's job. But you know what? Women can do whatever they want to. They are stronger, smarter and braver than what they let the world see. I'm not saying that men do not face any struggles. They do too. Society restricts men from showing their feelings because, apparently, they're 'men'. People are being judged based on their gender. This needs to change. WE NEED TO CHANGE. #taylorswift #feminism #Lover #theman #swifties #men #women #feminist #genderequality #lgbtrights #basicrights #taylor #equality #mustread https://www.instagram.com/p/B3ZZS2EBUx2/?igshid=f659eny0z7ms

So...finally came out to my family, I'm really honestly glad they didn't kick me out or disown me, and I cannot express how much of a RELIEF it is to finally be out of the closet!
But it's still pretty awkward when it's brought up at the dinner table for some reason. And I'm glad my family supports me, even if they do have the completely wrong idea about my sexuality sometimes lol.
I wanna thank @katzun (purple cat in te bg) for helping me come out as well! She and all of you guys in this lovely community have me the courage to be proud of who I am!
So even if I haven't fully come out to them (my family), it still feels good knowing they'll stick by me no matter what. Thanks guys!
-Sincerely A Happy He/Him Lesbian!

Be #mindful & #grateful for our clean water access on this global #waterday Mar 22. Not too recently Cape Town became the first major city to face the threat of running out of water. Cities like London, Mexico City, Miami, São Paulo & Tokyo are facing the likelihood of running out of drinking water. There is also #watercrisis in Flint, rural areas, and with the Canadian #indigenous communities. #WaterIsARight #WaterIsLife #WateraisSacred • • • • 📷 @kobuagency @unsplash • • • • #equality #humanrights #basicrights #save our planet #environment #environmentprotection #environmentalprotection #ohm #namaste #donttakethingsforgranted #fblogger https://www.instagram.com/terchablue/p/BvSsI7BgDuf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=2gqgzoufb60b
