Okay so I think it's time for another spaghetti theory:

Lilamoth isn't collecting moms. She's collecting sisters (or siblings)

Let me explain my thought process here. So a big complaint the fandom has is that we don't have a proper rogue gallery for villains. It's just the butterfly, and nothing else. It worked for early seasons, but things might be getting stale for some folks.

Enter new characters connected to Lilamoth somehow.

So she has 3 moms so far (that we know about.) All but one have something in common: dark hair and blue eyes.

From left to right we have Mrs. Rossi (red), Mrs. Bianca (white), and her third mother who is deaf could possibly be Mrs. Verdi (green).

Then we have this fourth lady that we see Lilamoth watching on her phone in the season 5 finale. I would NOT be surprised if Odille is going to be her 4th mom. Dark hair and blue eyes, and she is also disabled, just like her third mom.

(And I would not be surprised if we find out her surname is Nero (black), or Viola (violet). More on that aspect of this crack theory in a bit...)

Anyway, back to the concept of a rogues gallery. In the finale we see Lila in a disguise that 's VERY reminiscent of one of her moms:

Certainly she can't expect to disguise herself as a woman in her 30's-40's, and especially not with glasses and bangs. But she can pass reasonably as a teenage girl with a dark bob and glasses. You know, a sister.

So we know a certain main character whose name is in the title and wears red with black polkadots has dark hair and blue eyes. We don't know Lilamoth's motivations and and end goal, but we can surmise that she wants to take the place of Marinette.

(And I KNOW I've seen at least one other person theorize this, and I cannot find the post(s) so if you can find it please let me know so I can link it here!)

The pictures we see is one of Marinette with her classmates on the Liberty where Zoe is accepted in the friend group, Marinette with her parents, 3 pictures of Marinette with Kagami, and one picture of Marinette with Luka.

It's interesting to note that there isn't a picture of Marinette and Adrien together shown to the audience. You'd think they'd emphasize that, but no, it's mostly Kagami. I know it's because it's because the episode focuses on Kagami, but still. Other than her, it's just Marinette's parents, Zoe and Luka (Luka! Marinette's ex!) showcased in the closeup screenshot.

I got sidetracked! Anyway, I think other than similar coloring (and color-themed surnames haha) Lilamoth is trying to find other teenagers who are willing to join forces with her. She probably will get her hands on some Miraculous for them, somehow. But I don't think the new jewels will be from the Chinese box.

Here's where things start REALLY going off the rails with this theory:

All of Lilamoth's rogue gallery of villains are her adopted sisters (or siblings) and they are all Luka's exes. He's got a type for Italians with dark hair and blue eyes...

Going back to the surnames, all the surnames have something in common: they share the colors of all of Adrien's various transformations over the course of the series so far:

Rossi: Mister Bug

Bianca: Chat Blanc

Verdi: Aspik

We're just missing Chat Noir (could possibly will be the surname Nero, as it's Italian)

and Ephemeral (it's interesting to note that the surname Lee in Chinese can mean plum, which of course, is purple)

So naturally, my crack theory circles back to Lukadrien is endgame.

I will NOT be surprised if this girl with black hair in an extremely recognizable style is a disguise of another sister.

Is Lilamoth collecting blackmail to manipulate them later? She's very obviously walking disguised in areas where there would be lots of cameras (The inside of the Agreste mansion, and the hotel).

Now we know the synopsis of the London Special, I believe the disguises are to hide Lilamoth's tracks because she knows Maribug's identity. Bonus points if these girls were previous Ladybugs in past time lines that Lilamoth stole the identities of...

Actually excellent quality for an animated sequel - amazing songs, amazing cast and characters, amazing story. Who didn't have a crush on Kovu, huh??

Kovu

Because Lion King is basically Hamlat with lions and the sequel kept the Shakespeare theme and is basically Romeo amd Juliet with lions.

TSATS Theories

Hey y'all,

This is sort of my first post in general but I wanted to see if anyone has any similar theories for what Nico will leave behind based on the prophecy. I have 6 different guesses.

Theories on what will be sacrificed:

Nico’s memories of Will. Nico would sacrifice either his love or memories (or both) of Will. Honestly, this would be the least painful of the sacrifices in my opinion because I think Nico could/would grow to love Will again.

2. Will will sacrifice himself because he doesn’t want to put pressure on Nico or Will doesn’t want Nico to suffer anymore trauma. AKA Will would rather let himself be sacrificed than let Nico be self-sacrificial.

3. Nico’s memories of Jason. Because Bob and Jason was one of Nico's first friends, it would be an equivalent exchange.

4. Nico’s memories of Bianca. This is just like the Will's theory, but Hades and Percy would/could help Nico remember who Bianca was.

5. Nico would sacrifice himself without Will knowing, hence the cover of the book shows Nico pointing to the entrance/exit (???) and promising Will that he will meet him there, but in reality, Nico tricked Will into leaving without him. I feel like this theory is also supported from the preview chapters:

"You have to do something, Nico," said Will, his eyes soft and sad.

"I know."

Will shook his head. "It's more than you think. When the time comes, tell me the truth."

I think when Will says, "tell me the truth," this could possibly refer to Nico knowing he will be self-sacrificial from the start because he doesn't want to lose Will. And Cupid/Will (Wupid???) knows Nico will lie to Will about it 'when the time comes' to make the sacrifice.

6. Jason as a ghost would appear on their quest (as the unofficial 3rd member of the group) and sacrifice himself so Nico doesn't have to make the choice.

Though I made 6 theories, I only think 1, 3, and 5 are slightly possible -- especially 5.

What are y'all's theories? I would love to hear them and exchange notes.

drag queens and teaching stethoscopes

On the MDF Instruments website (which I peruse embarrassingly often for a non-medical professional) there's a teaching stethoscope with four sets of binaurals.

I understand its purpose as a medical tool, certainly. But for my purposes, I find it overwhelming to contemplate--quite invasive, and borderline terrifying. I love being listened to but omg--why would four people be listening? A part of me would want to become defensive, without being able to explain why. A part of me would want to run away. I shared this with a long-distance friend who is not a cardiophile but tolerates endless cardiophile talk from me, and she agreed that it's...a lot. "But would it be better if we imagined it was drag queens on the listening end?" I asked. We wholeheartedly agreed that that would eliminate a lot of the awkward feelings.

So of course that led to me wondering which drag queens (all from the drag race franchise in this case) I would choose and here's my list.

Bianca Del Rio

Bianca simply has to be one of them because I'm crazy about her. She would definitely diffuse any uncomfortable feelings by poking fun at the situation in some way. It doesn't hurt that she seems to be a genuinely sweet person underneath that Don Rickles-esque personality.

Willow Pill

I love Willow's unique perspective on life and everything. I knew she would be a favorite queen of mine when she described her love of fungi and even showed up on the runway as a bleeding tooth--not just the something predictable like a fly agaric. Genuinely interested in what she would have to say about someone obsessed with heart sounds.

Bob the Drag Queen

Much like Bianca, it's the acerbic wit for me. Bob also seems to have a way of looking at life that, to me, combines uniqueness with a sort of "everyman" relatability (not sure that's a word but oh well) which makes me watch her tiktoks and say to myself "it's funny because it's true" and her presence is so disarming I would probably tell her my life story if given the chance.

Mrs. Kasha Davis

It's true that I've always been fond of older women, and Mrs. Davis is no exception. I also can't resist a queen with a catchphrase like "there's always time for kindness." She would undoubtedly give me all the warm and fuzzy feelings and make me feel very cared for.

Note: this is just for fun, of course. I don't think I would ever approach any of them at meet and greets with a stethoscope. This is only if I were lucky enough to know them IRL.

But the main takeaway from this, and part of the reason I wrote it, is to say that drag queens make my friend and I both feel safe. It's the opposite of what conservative politicians want you to believe, because they are wrong.

OKAY OKAY OKAY TSATS THEORY ABOUT THE ENDING HERE

(Spoilers for the preview)

So I know we all saw Twitter and how Rick and Mark said no one has even been CLOSE to predicting the ending of TSATS, but I’ve been thinking about it and I’m very sure neither Will or Nico will die in this book.

There was this one line from the preview that really stuck out to me. It was the line about a mortals life not being equal to an immortals. And this is the key to my theory.

SO IT GOES:

There has to be three people going on a quest. Right? We have Will and Nico (obvs) but who is the third? Someone immortal, whose life is equal to a titans? Someone we know and love?

I think the third person going on this quest is the one who is going to die, because let’s face it, not everyone is going to make it out of Tartarus alive.

Out of all of the immortal beings we know; the gods, the titans, nymphs and so on, we’ve never seen them going on a quest… except for…The Hunters of Artemis. I know i’m reaching for this just bear with me for a minute.

We don’t really know any hunters do we? Only their names, maybe, but no one we really know?

EXCEPT FOR THALIA GRACE

yes so I am most very likely wrong but some other evidence/possibilities for my theory;

- this could be a great scenario for Thalia and Nicos relationship to be reflected upon; as they have a rough relationship (they have so much in common now that I think about it!?)

- Rick has talked about writing a book about the hunters in the past and this could be an opportunity to do that after the books release.

- It would bring back the fan favourite and be a very tragic (Ancient Greek) ending with both of the grace siblings dying in the end.

- JASON AND THALIA GET TO GO TO ELYSIUM TOGETHER AND BE REUNITED!?????
