This is in a new 5.5x8.5 sketchbook so I'm hoping this'll get me back into it 🤞 I do miss my markers and colored pencils

I know Copic vs Ohuhu has been argued since Ohuhu came onto the scene, but I stayed out of it in favor of Blick Studio since they had both the brush nib/chisel combo and were refillable like Copics, but cheaper like Ohuhus. But now Ohuhu not only has the brush/chisel combo but are refillable now too. All the big name art YouTubers are saying they're using Ohuhu now but like. They'd sell their souls to corporate if it meant they get first dibs on whatever will end up becoming the trend everyone else will endlessly copy from them for views so like. Real human being artists of tumblr: are Ohuhus worth the switch from Block Studio?

I was told by my stationery geek group that Uniball Signos and Vision Elites are plane-safe (as in, won't leak or rupture and leave a mess in my bag), which is great for my writing but for my art I don't know if brush pens (Sakura Pigma Brush) or liners (Kuretake Zig Millennium) will leak. Anyone know?
And does anyone know what the flashpoint of alcohol markers (Blick Studio) are, and will they leak? Mine are dual tip brush (more like a sponge than bristly) and chisel, if tip type makes a difference

Villian Todoroki
This is some BNHA/MHA fanart I drew for fun and practice. I headcanon that Todoroki would dye his red hair green as a second smack in the face to his father. (this has absolutly nothing to do with the fact that both of my red markers are out of ink and I finished this sketch and I was to lazy to change it.)
My headcanon is that if Todoroki went villian with Dabi, he would grow his hair out long and dye the red bits green and help run the LOV with the other ex members of 1A which I may or may not draw later.
I am putting a supply list under the cut (or at least attempting to. I have never done so before.)

Because I typically use the Deleter Neopiko Markers more than I do Copics (a small price difference and I use both with excellent results), I decided to make a mini tutorial on how I build up color to achieve Isabel's lovely tan skin tone.
The first image looks really white washed, but that's only because I realized during a different drawing I was coloring that I needed a lighter color to help enrich the darker color that I was using to capture the skin tone I am trying to achieve. The only marker I currently have that is close enough to the color I want to work with is actually a Blick Studio alcohol based marker. But like watercolors, you have to build up on that color and layer it up to achieve the look you want. I also used the Copic Colorless Blender to help smooth out and blend the final product.
