#literally so ecstatic that book ideas keep coming to me and getting life breathed into them#I’ve had this book series on the back burner for over a decade#just waiting for it all to click#I’ve tried to force it to click a few times and it never would#but the ideas just won’t!!! stop!!! coming now!!! once everything fit into place#before I had a barebones idea for a first book with (extremely extremely) loose ideas for the second and third books#like oh in book 2 they leave their city and in book 3 they come back#but now the central themes and symbolism of the first book have all clicked into place and the story makes SO MUCH SENSE#and!!! I understand the theme of the three books together now!!#and the second book’s plot just keeps hitting me in waves and it’s SO INTERESTING#I really love the symbolism of it#took me a second to get used to it but I really love it now#I’ve even found the passages to include at the front of the books that authors always do for cool fiction novels#at least for books 1 and 2#the titles of the books also came to me which is GREAT bc I only had the first one originally#and the second book?? it’s missing one central piece - what the society they enter looks like#it needs a central monument or image for the reader to latch onto#but the rest built around it is??? so good???#my book 3 is still relatively barebones but I think that’s probably good#I now understand what the theme of the third book will be and some pivotal scenes that drive it home#the rest should probably wait until the first two books are cemented in#but??? idk I’m just so excited??? I think these books could be a big deal#like they just have a certain quality about them that makes me very excited lol#now to just get all of this on to a paper

Can you do Rook, Malleus and Lillia trying to give period pain relief the old fashioned way
Tumblr media
Period Pain Relief~The Old-Fashioned Way | Yandere Twisted Wonderland
They realize that pain is a natural predecessor of the period. Now Twisted Wonderland is not devoid of painkillers and magic meant to sooth your laboring body. But would you know that? No. And the ones dangerously tipping on the edge of their sanity would much rather ease the pain themselves. The old fashioned way:
Tumblr media
Lilia Vanrouge
“C’mon love. Let’s do it my way! I’ll make it better I promise.”
While he may not have had a lot of sexual partners he’s already seen so much
Lived for so long
He’s bound to know the perfect spot to rub and the perfect pace to have you reeling
Blood is no obstacle
He’s a former general!
Though your blood is the only kind he’s interested in he doesn’t mind it or eating through it
He’s sure it will help those pesky cramps of yours
No pain killers needed
Or at the very least distract from it
“Is this better my love? To fill your pain with the pleasure I give you? Want to see if it works all throughout the week?”
“L-il-ah~stop talking!”
“Oh yeah! I agree! It’s a great idea! All week let’s not stop!”
He’s focusing on your pain right now and getting rid of it
Whether your together or not soothing you is his goal
And that’s almost enough to get him off on his own
He doesn’t even think about the true and core cause of your period
“Hm a baby…that would be nice. To be a papa again….what would you say about that Mama?”
“Forget it Lilia! This is a one time thing.”
“Sure sure until next month! And the rest of your life.”
Tumblr media
Malleus Draconia
“Soothing your pain is a necessity but the root of the problem still remains!”
“I..don’t follow.”
“Your body burdens you because of your empty womb. Naturally the best way to resolve it is to fill it.”
He doesn’t believe in simply plugging the leak he prefers to drain the lake
Aiming to impregnate you once he gets a hold of your cycle’s schedule
Obliterating Your pain aside he’s binding you with him forever
No mirror or pesky pest that takes your attention away can take his place as your child’s father as his wife
The period is a sugarcoated excuse to do it
He’ll take your refusal and delegation as human-fear
Are you worried he won’t fit
That you won’t be prepared
About the future
No worries he’s Malleus Draconia
Your Tsunotarou
He’ll prep you properly, he’ll fund everything, he’ll even put a ring on your finger to make it official
In the end he’s here for you him
“M-Malle~hmm we can’t…it won’t~ah~”
“Shhh hush my child of man! Hng~our child is the true solution to keeping you beside me forever.”
He doesn’t quit care that it will return after the pregnancy but if your smart you’ll know his exact solution
“Then I guess we’ll just have another.”
“What?! I can’t handle that! I can barely handle one!”
“Fear not my treasure! My magic will soothe your pain.”
“You have magic that can do that…?”
“Yes.”
“Then why didn’t you use it before!?”
“I wanted a child with you and the period that plagues you would have ceased. This is what you would call a ‘win win situation.’”
Tumblr media
Rook Hunt
“Oh mon Dieu! Please my ma beauté ultime! Ma délicatesse magnifique, let me bring you comfort!”
If you relent or are in so much pain you can’t explicitly refuse him he’s giving his aide
Blood is nothing to him
That’s not true
Its everything to him
he delights in the carnal satisfaction he has when his mouth is drenched in it
Like the predator he aspires to be he stalked you, warded off interested parties, and has finally pounced
Free to indulge in your flavor
The forbidden that only comes once a month
“Mmm parfaite!”
“Rook~Don’t talk just~eek”
“Ah I understand! Smeck~ <3 Forgive my neglect.”
Hours upon hours
He’ll happily stay between your legs
Sending a second of a glare before he lets up
You’ll regret interrupting his feast
Studying your biology to know you inside and out
He realizes he could stop your period for 9 months
He plays with the idea
But ultimately decides he has more work to do
Your cage isn’t quite ready yet
“Rook I’m tired and I’m not in pain so can we stop?”
“Non non! This hunter’s got a ways to go before I tire my amour!”
“But I want to sleep!”
“Go ahead! When you awake I’ll be right here with you!”

“Are you sure this is safe?”
“Of course. I wouldn’t put my best friend in an unsafe situation,” Reina says, unlocking the gate to the vault.
“Right…”
“You just have to change into one of Vault-Tec’s jumpsuits beforehand.”
“Why?”
“It’s what everyone will wear in the vaults, frozen or not. We want to test how they hold up being frozen, how they react to the oils on our skin. That type of thing.”
“…I see.”
Something in your gut tells you this is a bad idea. You could turn back now and tell her that you changed your mind. But her hopefulness stops you from saying no, the desire to not want to disappoint your friend. She’s been working on this for months and she seems so proud of it, so sure that it’ll be vital to saving the world in the face of war.
“So you’ll be compensated for your time after the trial is over,” she says as you descend lower into the vault.
“Got it.”
“And like I said before, you’ll be guaranteed a spot in the vaults should we ever need to use them… But I’d get you in one anyway, of course.”
“Thanks, Reina.”
She leads you into a bleak room, with copious racks of blue and yellow Vault-Tec jumpsuits. On the back of the suits, there’s a large zero in yellow writing. There’s a shelf of boots in the back of the room, along with a wall of lockers.
“Find one that fits and then you can place all your stuff in one of the lockers. And make sure you grab a Pip Boy, okay? It goes on your left wrist.”
“What’s a Pip Boy again?”
You vaguely remember seeing an ad where they were mentioned but don’t remember any details.
“They’re on the shelf next to the boots. We just want to test how they hold up when frozen.”
…She didn’t answer your question but okay.
“Alright. Thanks,” you nod, starting to get undressed as she opens the door.
You slip on the suit and find that it’s slightly uncomfortable. But at least you’ll be unconscious the entire time you have to wear it. You find a pair of boots in your size and slide a Pip Boy on your wrist. You still don’t really understand what it is. From what you can tell, it’s just a thick silver cuff with a black and green display on the screen. It asks you to register your information so you do so, figuring it’ll be important for the trial.
But once you’ve changed, you meet her in the hallway, anxiously walking through the vault. She brings you to a room full of large silver cylinders, a large glass panel in the middle of each of them. She opens the door to the first one, helping you get situated inside. Your nerves are shot, adrenaline coursing through your body. It’ll be painless, that’s for sure. But who’s to say you won’t come from this experience a changed person?
It doesn’t matter. It’s for the greater good.
Now or never.
“See you on the other side,” she smiles, sealing you inside.
You do breathing exercises until everything fades to black.
-
You’re ripped from your chamber, the sleepiness still settled in your limbs. Before your eyes can adjust to the light you’re thrown onto the floor, scrambling upright. Why would Reina or another Vault-Tec employee for that matter wake you up like this?
You blink a few times and look at who’s standing before you– two men and a woman, dirty, wearing ragged, worn clothing. The two men grab you by your upper arms and force you to stand up.
“Do you work for Vault-Tec?” you ask, utterly confused.
They share a laugh, exchanging menacing smiles with each other.
“I don’t understand. I’m part of an experiment for Vault-Tec. I was just supposed to be frozen for a few days for a thousand dollars cash and a guaranteed spot in the vault.”
“Oh, you got a spot in the vault alright. Bring her to the surface, boys,” the woman says.
“Who are you people? Where’s Reina?”
“If you don’t stop yapping, we’ll gag you,” the woman says, rolling her eyes as you’re forced to head up to the surface.
As you walk through the vault you notice the place is trashed. Blood is smeared on the floor, all over the walls. Dead bodies litter the place, all donning the same jumpsuit you’re wearing. The fear surges through your body, your legs threatening to give out underneath you. If it weren’t for the men holding you upright you would’ve collapsed by now, the fear and shock finally settling it.
How long were you frozen? Where’s Reina? Who are these people and where are they taking you? Why is this place full of dead bodies?
The harsh sunlight on the surface stings your eyes. You glance around once your eyes get adjusted and find that the surface is… different to say the least. It’s a barren wasteland, void of any life, except for the group of people standing near the prisoners. A band of people, similar in appearance to the ones escorting you; rugged attire, faces affected by the harsh climate, and dirty. But as for the prisoners, they’re dressed like you; blue and yellow jumpsuits, boots, a Pip Boy on their wrists, a big zero on their backs.
You’re forced to your knees, in front of the group of prisoners. Your wrists are bound together with rope. You look around you, hoping to recognize someone. But it isn’t until they bring up the last prisoner that you see a familiar face; Reina.
She’s placed beside you, staring straight ahead of her and not daring to glance in your direction. The group of… raiders stand before you, arms folded, menacing smiles on their faces, and covered head to toe in weapons. They outnumber you. They’re a group of at least ten compared to your group of five. A woman who seems to be their leader starts speaking first.
“I’m sure you’re all feeling lost right now… Let me summarize the past two hundred years for you.”
A pit forms in your stomach. The weight of reality threatens to come crashing down on you. You want to scream. You want to cry. You want to run. But for the sake of learning what’s been going on for the past… two hundred years, you listen to the strange woman.
“Those of you who signed up to be a part of Vault-Tec’s little experiment… They failed you. They forgot about you long before the bombs dropped, before the war even started.”
She paces back and forth, hands behind her back as she continues.
“And now thanks to us, you've awoken from your eternal slumber. So, to repay us, you’ll be living as our servants.”
You feel like you’re gonna be sick, nausea washes over you as the wind whips your face. The weight of reality threatens to crush you, an overwhelming sense of hopelessness on the brink of swallowing you whole. Your ears start ringing and everything around you turns to white noise. You’re forced upright and placed into a single file line. The group of raiders surround you, guns drawn to prevent anyone from trying to break away. Reina’s in front of you. You have to ask her for more clarity. But maybe once your anxiety subsides.
Your mind is swirling with questions.
War. Bombs. Vaults. Your family. Your friends.
Cooper.
You can't process that it’s been two hundred years since that fateful night Reina locked you in the freezer. Your mind refuses to accept it. But as you walk through the wasteland, you slowly work up the courage to confront her.
“Did you know?” you say suddenly.
“Did I know what?”
“That they were just going to forget about me for two hundred plus years.”
“…Yes.”
“Quiet!” one of the male raiders shouts.
But you don’t listen.
“I should’ve known better. Cooper always talked about how shady Vault-Tec was,” you mutter to yourself.
“Cooper?”
Fuck.
“Do you mean Cooper Howard?”
“Uhh…”
“I said quiet!” the raider shouts again.
“If I’m telling the truth right now then so are you.”
“He would just tell me about how his wife worked there and how the company seemed to have suspicious motives.”
“That’s not what I’m asking.”
“Then what are you asking?” you retort, scoffing at her audacity to even be demanding answers from you right now. You fucked a married man. She locked her best friend in a freezer for two hundred years and yet she’s the one acting like you committed a heinous crime.
“Under what circumstances did he tell you all this?”
“After we slept together,” you say smugly.
You expect to get yelled at again but instead, another raider chimes in.
“You slept with The Man From Deadhorse?”
“How long?” Reina asks.
“Not that it’s anybody's business, but from when I started on the film up until the day of the premiere.” You wanted to rub it in her face. She had been single at the time, bemoaning the fact to you whenever you hung out.
“So you were sleeping with him until about two days before you entered the vault?”
“Yeah, but that’s beside the fucking point. You need to tell me everything you know now.”
“Vault Zero was originally an experiment to see how long the body could last in a cryogenic freezer.”
“You told me it would be a couple of days.”
“I lied.”
“But… why? We were friends. Why would you do this to me?”
“They were pressuring me to find test subjects.”
“What made you ask me? Did I just mean nothing to you?”
She doesn’t answer, continuing forward but you press further.
“What about you? How did you get thrown in there?”
“Against my will. They were short on test subjects and threw me in there a few days before the war started.”
“When did the war start?”
“…October.”
Ten months. Ten months before the war had even started, you were locked in that vault.
Ten. Months.
Two hundred years and ten months.
You fight the urge to cry, instead opening your mouth to fire a retort back at her. But the raider walking beside you shoves you with the barrel of his gun.
“Gossip time is over,” he grunts.
But now that you think about it, you don’t have anything to say to her.
-
You walk for what feels like hours upon hours. The rope on your wrists irritates your skin and you want nothing more than to rip it off you and run as fast as you can. But on second thought, you know you wouldn’t last an hour in the wild on your own. There’s so much you have to learn about the world again. It’s overwhelming, thinking about what’s changed over the past two centuries. You’re left wondering what became of your home, what became of your family and friends, what became of Cooper.
But for that, you feel fucking stupid. Your affair ended months before the war started. Who knows what has transpired in life since then? He could’ve patched things up with Barb. He could’ve moved on and forgotten all about you. He could’ve found another young production assistant to spend his nights with.
Maybe he thought about you in your absence. Maybe he asked Emil about where you went. Maybe he stayed up late at night, thinking about what could’ve been.
Probably not.
Suddenly you wish you were never pulled from the freezer.
-
After what feels like forever, you arrive at the raider's base camp; a shanty town of tents and old cars. The place is littered with rubble, piles of old machinery, and oil drums. The raiders force you and the others on your knees again in a single-file row. The same woman as before paces back and forth before the group, hands behind her back like always, getting ready to tell you what’s expected of you as their new “slaves”.
But then she stops, looking past the group and out into the distance. She draws her gun and points behind you in the distance.
“Get outta here, you fucking shuffler.”
You try to look behind you but all you can see is the silhouette of a man, wearing a hat and a long ragged coat.
“Not goin’ anywhere until I get what I’m after.”
That voice.
You hear the sound of a piece of paper unfolding, prompting the woman to say, “That’s not me.”
“Sure looks a whole lot like you.” You can tell by his voice that he’s smirking.
Could it be?
“You’re outta your mind if you think I’m going anywhere with you… At least not without a fight.”
She shoots at the mysterious man. The crackle of the gunshot rings through your ears, making you flinch. You try to crouch down lower to miss getting caught in the crossfire and shield one of your ears with your shoulder at least. But you expect him to be dead now, falling to the ground with blood pooling around him.
But instead, he laughs.
“Well… I was afraid you’d say that.”
Another gunshot. But not from the woman, from the man.
She falls to the ground, gurgling blood in her throat and trying desperately to yell, “After him!”
The other raiders open fire, bullets flying all around you. Some of the new prisoners try to run, seizing the opportunity to make a mad dash. Some of them succeed, running far away into the wastelands. But some fail, getting hit by stray bullets and collapsing to the ground. You stay low, inching farther away and taking cover behind an oil drum. You listen as the gunfire rages on, people screaming and crying out in pain.
You’re at war with yourself, part of you screaming, run far away from here. But the other part of you tells you to wait it out, let them all shoot each other to death, and loot their supplies after. You decide to listen to the latter voice instead.
You peek out from behind the oil drum, watching as the man reloads his gun. You haven’t seen the front of him yet but you’re dying to see his face. That voice… God, it sounded so familiar.
You return to center and close your eyes, hoping everything will stop soon. You’re not sure where Reina is, if she ran off, if she’s dead or alive. But to be honest, you don’t care. You’ve quickly learned one rule of the wasteland so far– do this shit alone.
But eventually, the gunfire and the screams stop. You don’t open your eyes yet, listening intently for any signs of life. Footsteps creep near you and you freeze, hoping no one looks behind the oil drum. But it’s too late.
“What do we have here?”
That voice.
You open your eyes and look at the strange man standing before you– rugged skin, no nose, no hair, tattered clothing, and hazel eyes. You’ve seen those eyes before.
The man crouches down and reaches into his pocket for a switchblade. You flinch for a moment but realize he’s just cutting the rope around your wrists. Once your hands are free you soothe the irritated skin on your wrists, looking up at the man again. His gaze softens. And now that he’s closer to you, you can confirm that you’ve definitely seen those eyes before.
“Cooper?”
“How’d you know it was me?”
“Cooper Howard, I’d recognize that voice anywhere,” you say, brushing your thumb over his textured cheek. “And those eyes.”
He closes his eyes and melts at your touch, placing a gloved hand over yours.
“I didn’t think I’d ever see you again,” he whispers.
“Me either… But I’m glad you found me.”
An overwhelming emotion washes over you and you can’t help but pull him into you, clutching onto him for dear life. You’re breaking down, letting the hot tears roll down your cheeks.
“Cooper, I’m so scared.”
“I know, sweetheart. I know,” he says, rubbing your back. “Let’s get you out of here,” he whispers, warm breath tickling the shell of your ear.
He helps you stand upright, snaking an arm around your waist as he leads you into the colony of tents. He brings you to one messily labeled “med” with spray paint. Inside there are a few stretchers and copious amounts of medical supplies lining the perimeter of the tent. He sets you down on a stretcher and kneels before you, inspecting you for any injuries.
“Are you hurt?”
You shake your head no.
“I promise I’ll explain everything to you, okay?”
“What happened to you?”
“Exposed to radiation, sweetheart.”
“And it turned you into-”
“A ghoul.”
A ghoul… You’re not sure what that means. Everything’s so confusing and overwhelming.
He gets up and grabs a canteen of water, handing it to you as he sits on the stretcher beside you.
“Are you… alone out here?” You ask after you take a sip.
“...I am.”
“Can I tell you something?”
“Of course.”
“I still want you.”
“Sweetheart… trust me, you don’t.”
“But I do.”
“You don’t want to wake up next to this mug every morning.”
“Cooper, I’m still attracted to you now like I was back then. I’ve always loved you for more than your appearance. Plus… it was hot watching you kill all those bad guys,” you say, turning towards him.
“Oh yeah?”
“Mhm.”
You lean forward and kiss him. It feels different but also the same simultaneously, caressing the face of your man, the new version of him. His hands roam your body, running along your outline in the jumpsuit. He pulls back and murmurs, “Let’s get you out of this fuckin’ suit.”
He moves off the stretcher and works to undress you, starting with your boots and working his way up. He unzips the top of your jumpsuit, helping you up so you can shimmy out of it, tossing the Pip Boy to the ground. And once your bra and underwear are off, you’re completely bare.
You lie back down on the cot, legs spread apart as he gets situated in between your thighs. He tugs off his glove and spits into his hand, playing with your entrance. A shiver of anticipation runs down your spine. He inserts one finger inside you, curling it painstakingly slowly against your soft walls. His other hand gravitates to your breast, caressing the outline before traveling to your nipple. Your breath hitches as he takes it between his fingertips, working into a stiff peak before moving to the next one.
“All these years later and you’re still just as desperate for me,” he teases.
“Shut up,” you shoot back with a shaky breath. “It’s only been like a couple of days for me.”
“You know I’m only teasin’, sweetheart. Love gettin’ you all worked up like this,” he says, adding a second finger.
He makes a come here motion with his two fingers, curling them against your g-spot as you writhe against the stretcher.
“Gonna cum, pretty girl?”
“Mhm,” you respond, voice high-pitched and dripping with arousal.
“Let me feel it,” he commands.
With one last motion of his fingers, you cum around them, clenching and releasing them erratically. Your moans and the wet, squelching sounds of your cunt fill the tent, looking directly into his eyes as you cum. You roll your hips into his hand, riding out the remainder of your high. He pulls his hand from you when you’re done and brings it to his mouth, tasting your spend.
“My good girl. So sweet,” he praises.
He pulls his cock out of his pants and hovers above you, gathering more of your spend with his hand and spreading it on his cock. Another shiver of anticipation runs down your spine. God, you needed him.
“Ready for me, sweetheart?”
You nod and it’s then that he finally enters you, splitting you apart with his cock. Your moan gets caught in your throat as you get adjusted to his size, staring directly into his eyes again. He places his hands by either side of your head, thrusting in and out of you repeatedly.
“Still feels just as good,” he says, jaw going slack as he watches your squirm underneath him.
You’re past sentences, only responding in the form of whimpers. Your moans grow incessant as your pleasure builds, thanks to his cock sliding in and out of you. He slams his hips into you one final time and with that, you finally cum. Your cunt convulses as the muscles in your core contract and release, waves of pleasure surging through your body. Your moans are like music to his ears, a familiar sound he’ll never get sick of. He curses under his breath and before you know it he’s coming inside you. His cum paints your insides as his thrusts grow sloppy. You finish riding out your highs together, feeling like you’re on cloud nine. Eventually, his hips slow to a stop and he remains inside you, looking down at you with all of the love and admiration in the world.
Maybe it’s the rush of hormones. Maybe it’s the past twenty-four hours making you emotional. Maybe it’s the weight of being reunited. But you’re reminded of how much you love him. And now that he’s finally yours you’re not afraid to say it.
“Cooper?”
“Hm?”
“I love you,” you blurt out, studying his face for his reaction.
But he just smiles and says, “I love you, too.”
He leans down and kisses you, soft and gentle before trailing kisses down your jawline.
You feel his cum leak out of you and remember he came inside you for once.
“I can’t believe you actually came inside me.”
“Speaking of that,” he groans, sliding off the stretcher and rummaging through the medical supplies. He grabs a clear bag filled with a brownish liquid, labeled with the word RadAway and an IV.
“You’re gonna need this, though.”
“What’s this?”
“Gets rid of the radiation I just released inside ya.”
You sigh and lean back on the stretcher, letting him hook you up to the medicine.
“What about like… pregnancy?”
“Ghouls are sterile,” he chuckles. “You got a lot to learn about the world, sweetheart.”
“I know… But at least I get to do it with you.”
“Wouldn’t want it any other way.”

I GET DRUNK ON JEALOUSY!
Tumblr media
including satoru gojo & a batshit crazy reader.
content warnings of swearing, slut shaming, threats, hints of insecurity, reader has problems, no use of y/n
notes lmk how we’re feeling ab obsessive reader after u finish this… readers so cheeky. reqs are open. i didn’t proofread this btw so ignore mistakes thx bye
Tumblr media
the first times you brought up your concerns to satoru about his obscene amount of female friends, he shrugged you off without a second thought. which led to you going through his phone while he showered and finding various messages of the girls he called “just friends” openly talking about you and your antics.
i dunno how ur not seeing it satoru. all she does is gaslight you :((
u deserve better toru ! there are so many girls out there who would treat u 10x better than wtv she’s doing <3
of course satoru shut down these ideas the moment they were sent, but that didn’t stop you from fighting the urge to gag as one of his friends called him by his nickname. your nickname. an eye twitched as you heard the shower turn off and you exited out of his phone before going back to apply your makeup, satoru coming out shortly after.
“so who do we know that’s going to be there?” it was a joke of a question, really. you knew it all. it was some fraternity horndog hosting the house party, so you weren’t too suspicious.
“probably just like… my whole friend group.” satoru shrugged as he buttoned up his loose shirt, approaching your vanity as you glanced at him in the mirror. you hummed in acknowledgment, nodding slowly.
“so… those girls? god, i just can’t put a name to any of their faces. you’ll have to remind me once we see them tonight.” cocking your head to the right ever so slightly, you made your passive aggressive comment to satoru.
he bent down to kiss your cheek before walking to put on his shoes. “s’not like they matter. you ready to go?”
coincidentally, you do run into one of those girls that happened to be talking about you in satoru’s DM’s. her outfit told you everything you needed to know about her. goddamn skank. the urge to strangle you is so strong— your thoughts are interrupted by satoru pressing a chaste kiss to your lips before murmuring in your hair.
“i’m gonna go catch up with suguru, ‘kay? don’t get lost on me now,” he teased and you grinned, nearly falling in love all over again. honestly, you can’t blame the girls.
satoru’s presence left your peripheral and the girl (still too unbothered to acknowledge their names) opens her mouth to introduce herself before you cut her off with a raised finger and a small smile. “stop messaging satoru,” your voice dropped an octave, and her face went pale. the music muffled your conversation to everyone else surrounding, only pushing you to threaten her further. “talk all the shit you want about me to whoever will listen, but don’t let me see it on satoru’s phone. or i’ll shove a butchers knife down your throat ten times bigger than the dicks you suck.”
you brushed away any lint from your tight fitted top before smiling once more at her, tucking a stray strand behind your ear innocently before turning to see satoru and suguru laughing in a corner. “this was a good talk. hopefully won’t see you around.”
satoru opens his arm for you to tuck yourself under with a smile as he sees you approaching, before placing another soft kiss to your hairline. “have fun, baby?”
“lots.” you grin, “lots of fun.”

Would you do a fluff with a hint of angst Chifuyu request of Chifuyu being extra clingy and affection with his s/o after Takemichi tells him the truth about their future and tells him his future wife (aka his current girlfriend) is also killed by Kisaki? Also feel free to make it gender neutral if you’d prefer!

Warnings: Mentions of canon death, not great clingy writing from an arospec person
      To say Chifuyu was stunned was an understatement. He just found out that in the future not only is he married to his current girlfriend but they are killed at the hands of Kisaki. Multiple feelings were running through his head, happiness and joy that he and Y/n worked out even twelve years from now, but also sadness that his loyalty to the true vision of Toman gets her killed. What was he supposed to do? He could break up with her and save her from being stuck with him or he could help Takemichi stop Kisaki. Yeah that sounded like a good plan, just stop Kisaki instead of coming up with a shit lie to end a perfect relationship.
      Chifuyu was pulled from his thoughts when Takemichi spoke again. “You can’t tell anyone. Who knows what it would do to the future.” He stated like it wasn’t obvious. “I honestly shouldn’t have told you, it all just slipped out.”
      Calming his freaked friend, Chifuyu spoke. “Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone, they’d call me crazy if I went around spouting about the future. Let’s go get some food, and figure out a plan, Ok?” He asked, still shaken from the information but trying to push down his anxieties about it all.
     After discussing plans with Takemichi, they decided that at the Captain’s meeting, Takemichi would try to bribe Mikey into not letting Hakkai leave Toman, Chifuyu bid his friend good night and head home. Once home he sent a quick text to his girlfriend, nothing crazy just an ‘I love you, and hope you have a good night’. Now on the other end of the text conversation, Y/n was confused, sure a good night text was normal, but why that phrasing their conversations were normally just quick and shortened texts because let’s be honest texting on these phones sucked. Brushing off the confusion, y/n responded with her own simple ‘good night’ and fell asleep, after all Chifuyu was probably just being clingy, he did lose a close friend a month ago so it’s fine.
    The next day before the Captain’s meeting, Chifuyu opted to invite Y/n out for a lunch date. Y/n wanting to spend time with her boyfriend happily agreed, meeting him at their normal lunch cafe.
     “Hey Fuyu, not that I don’t love the spontaneity, but what’s with the random lunch date? Isn’t there a captain’s meeting today?” She asked as they entered the cafe. Y/n was in the loop with everything Toman, not only was she dating the vice captain of the first division, but she’s also the second division captain’s younger sister.
    “Uhhh, yeah there is. I just wanted to spend some time with you beforehand.” Chifuyu responded, grabbing her hand. He led her over to the counter quickly ordering their usuals and paying before she could protest. Once their order was placed they walked over to a booth in a back corner to sit and chat.
    As Y/n took her spot on one side of the booth, she was confused as Chifuyu slid in right next to her, normally when it was just the two of them they sat across from each other, so this was odd. “Chifuyu, why are you sitting there?” She asked, trying to understand his weird behavior.
    He just shrugged and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. “So how has school been going?” He asked, trying to shift the topic from his random clingy behavior.
    They spent the next hour chatting about random things and enjoying their lunch. But Y/n couldn’t help but notice that no matter what was happening Chifuyu always had a hand somewhere on her, whether it was his arm across her shoulders while they talked or his hand brushing her leg as they ate. She didn’t want to seem put off by the affection so she once again brushed it off as still being clingy after Baji passed. It was harder not to question it when they were leaving. Normally at the end of a date they would share a quick kiss and hug, before going their separate ways if they hadn’t planned to do more, but it seemed like Chifuyu didn’t want to let her go.
   “You need to go, you have that meeting to go to.” Y/n said, gently pushing Chifuyu off her. He hesitated for only a second longer before releasing her, pulling away with what Y/n would describe as a sad smile making her concerned. “Are you ok? What’s wrong?” She asked cupping his cheeks.
   Chifuyu just kept smiling and brushing her hands with his. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just love you so much.” He said getting ready to leave.
   Y/n just looked at him confused for a second, before chuckling. “Love you too, now go before Taka calls me asking why I’m keeping you from the meeting.” Chifuyu let out a laugh at that, placing a final kiss to her cheek and running off. She was left standing in front of the cafe staring after her boyfriend’s retreating figure. Sure he was acting a little strange, but you know what, she would take a clingy Chifuyu over a distant Chifuyu any day of the week, so she’ll let it slide for now.

Baking? Piece of pie...or not
One-shot
Masterlist
Dean Winchester x Fem!Reader
TWF x Fem!Reader
A/N: I bake a lot lately and it gave me this idea. It's a bit silly but I truly enjoyed writing it.
This morning, I decided to wake up earlier to prepare a pie for the brothers. Well, it was much more for Dean but still. There wasn’t any special occasion. I just wanted to do something nice for them. We all had a rough week with the last hunt. I knew that I had a chance to cheer them up with a nice dessert. Nothing fancy, just a simple apple pie. But I knew that the gesture would mean a lot to them.
I got out of my room as quietly as I could so as to not wake anyone. As I tiptoed to the kitchen, I tried to remember, without looking at the paper, all the steps of the recipe my mother used when I was younger. Once in the kitchen, I directly went to check that I had all the ingredients needed for the pie. Everything was here, ready to work the miracle of the glorious pie. As I placed everything on the table, I managed to make one of the mixing bowls fall loudly on the floor.“ Son of a bitch” I swore under my breath at my own clumsiness. I truly spend too much time with Dean, for sure. I just hoped that my clumsiness wouldn’t get in the way the whole time.
Once I was done with the crust preparation, I checked the clock. It was almost 7 AM. Given the time, I knew that I had at least another thirty minutes to myself before one of the brothers got up. It was now time to slice the apples. Cutting them was always one of the worst parts for me because I always managed to hurt myself. I know, it’s weird for an experienced hunter. The amount of apple pieces was so big that I couldn’t even imagine how it was supposed to fit in the pie plate. But at least it would be a very generous pie. To Dean’s joy, I guess.
I suddenly realized that I forgot one of the steps my mother used to do. I wanted to check the piece of paper but finally remembered that I left it on my nightstand. I now had to go back to my room. I sighed loudly, looked at the mess I caused with the flour, apple peels, sugar everywhere, knowing that I’ll have to clean while the pie cooked. I checked the clock one more time. It was almost 8 AM. I wanted to be done by 9 AM but if I kept messing things up, it would take longer than that. Maybe until lunch at this rate.
As I remembered, the recipe was on my nightstand. Exactly where I could see it when I woke up. What an idjit! I hurried back to the kitchen but what I saw almost made me scream. Almost all the apple pieces were gone. What the hell?! But maybe I wasn’t alone in the kitchen. Maybe a certain blond hunter decided to pay a visit while I wasn’t there?  tried to look in all the most obvious places: under the table, behind the door… He was nowhere to be seen. Then, I decided to catch him red handed by pretending to go out of the kitchen.
As I hid in the corridor, I heard a bit of commotion and snapped my head by the door. There he was, with his mouth full. I finally caught the food thief. He was there, smiling like an idiot. “Dean! Stop stealing the pie ingredients!” His smile grew even bigger. “Hey! It’s not my fault. It was here unattended.” He chuckled and I couldn’t help but melt at this. “You’re worse than a raccoon. I knew it was you when I saw that half of the apple pieces were gone.” “Hey! How come you knew it was me and not Sam?”  He said while faking hurt. I just looked at him with one eyebrow raised. He sighed “Alright. But you weren’t even able to spot me.” He said smugly. “Okay. I must admit that you did great at hiding. Where were you by the way?” He tried the Blue Steel look on me while saying “Well, I’m Batman, sweetheart.” I rolled my eyes. “And I won’t tell you about my hiding place. How will I steal food next time?”.While saying this, he stole another handful of apple pieces. “Dean!” As if he defied me, he looked at me in the eyes and threw the stolen apples in his mouth. He will be the death of me. “You’re lucky  I love you.” “I know.” He said, imitating Han Solo’s voice and snaking his hand toward the apples.I smacked his hand. ”Don’t push your luck, Winchester.”
I then had to cut more apples. While Dean was sitting on the table, telling me stupid jokes. He was at a good distance from the apples but I knew that one second of inattention and he would dive in the bowl of apples. Then went the moment where I had to take one more apple from the counter behind me. As I walked away from the table, I could see him watching my every move. “Dean, if you just do so much as moving a finger, I promise to make your life a real nightmare.” I just heard him chuckling.
As I cut the apple, the knife slipped and cut my finger. “Goddamn it!” I screamed. Dean jumped off of the table and came by my side. “You okay?” I showed him my finger and said “Yeah, it’s just a cut. I’ll grab a paper towel and it will be okay.” He got it for me, wrapped my finger in it and said”I don’t understand how you can handle the worst monster all by yourself and still cut your finger while slicing an apple.” I slipped my hand out of his and said. “Oh shut your cakehole. It’s not my fault that I am better with a machete than a simple kitchen knife. Plus it wouldn’t have happened if someone didn’ t eat the vast majority of the apples I had already prepared.” I was about to throw flour on him but he dodged and Sam who just arrived behind him received it right in the face. His deadpan expression was priceless. He had flour all over him. Dean burst into laughter and Sam grabbed a handful of flour and threw it at him.
Cas appeared at the moment flour touched Dean’s face. “Hello.” He said in a deep voice. He looked at us with a confused face and asked “Is throwing cooking powder a normal step in the human cooking process?” We all looked at each other and laughed. It made us laugh even more when Cas took flour in his hand and spread it on his face. The serious expression he had during the whole process was gold. He approached me and said “May I?” I just nodded. He thoroughly spread flour on my face. “Now we can cook.” He said once he was done.
In the end they all helped me. It was almost time to put the pie in the oven but I had to do one last thing. “Time for my secret ingredient.” I announced. “What is it?” Asked Sam, visibly curious. I tried to hide the label that spelled cinnamon while pouring it on my preparation. “Is it some aphrodisiac? You know that we don’t need that.” said Dean suggestively while trying to steal it from me. “Stop being a dork and let me do my thing.” Once the pie was in the oven, we began to clean everything.
As I took the pie out, I saw that Dean was about to jump on it. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” “Come on, I’m a tough hunter who's been in Hell. I don’t fear getting… Argh!” he screamed as he burned his hand on the plate. “I told you, tough hunter. Now put your hand under the faucet.” I said with a small smile. He swallowed his pride and did as I told him.
The pie was finally ready for lunch. They were all waiting for me at the table when I brought the pie we all made. They all looked amazed at the dessert we made together. I saw how eager they all looked at the sight of the pie. So I served everyone and we began to eat it. The expression on their faces made me understand that it was good. “God, Y/N. What kind of sorcery is this?” asked Dean, with his mouth full of pie. Castiel spoke before I could. “It has nothing to do with the practice of witchcraft, Dean.” We all laughed.“Are you sure? Maybe Y/N is a witch?” He seemed to think and said “It is a possibility, indeed. When was your last ritual, Y/N?” I then replied playfully. “When you all arrived. The magic happened at that moment.” Dean threw me a loving look. Then Sam decided to ask “What is that secret ingredient of yours?” “Well, Sam, I can’t tell.It wouldn't be a secret anymore if I told you”. I said while trying to have a mysterious expression on my face. Cas swallowed another bite of pie and decided to intervene ”I don't understand how the secret ingredient is supposed to be a secret if you can feel all the molecules contained in cinnamon.” He said that very calmly. “Cas! You just exposed my most well guarded secret.” I said in fake indignation. “I’m sorry, Y/N” He seemed a bit confused when I finally laughed and patted his shoulder.
“Next time you’re baking, I’ll make sure to come here to participate. It was very entertaining” said Cas. “Aw! I’ll make you an angel cake next time.” I said while hugging him. He seemed a bit confused. “Is it a cake made for an angel to eat or a reference to celestial food? Because angels do not need to feed.” “ It will be a cake for an angel in a trenchcoat .” Dean approached to kiss me on the lips and said “Thank you for the pie. It was amazing. If I were alone, I would've eaten it entirely. And Sammy always gets upset when I steal his food.” “But you always steal my food!” replied Sam.
If I ended up in Heaven, I knew that this day would be the one I’d relive for eternity.

Heartbreak Princess

Summary: After breaking up with her on the phone and ignoring her, Y/N and her band, decide to play a special gig at the hideout... right before Eddie's set to go on and play.
Warnings: childhood friends to lovers to ex's. Angst with a happy ending. background Jancy breakup, mentions of Ronance, the drummer is Gareth's little sister, (hastily proofread)
SET LIST

Tumblr media
Ah, childhood romance, one of the most precious things you can have… Flirting on the playground, getting married with 25-cent machine rings in the 5th grade, kissing for the first time at a Sadie Hawkins dance, losing their virginity to each other in the middle of the summer between freshman and sophomore year… in their Senior year, they won prom king and queen even though they weren’t on track to graduate at all. In their 5th year together they just had fun, they really stopped trying to pass at that point, but Y/N did anyway. She graduated in Steve Harrington’s year, it was weird accepting her diploma without Eddie, but she did it.
She graduated, she got into hairdressing school, she took out some loans she got an apartment and she was living in Indianapolis with the preconceived notion that Eddie would try this year and move in with her once he was free of Hawkins High…
And now she’s sitting in her room, alone, without a best friend or a boyfriend because he’s an idiot. Something happened over his march break, something that he wouldn’t tell her about, something that caused him to be on an FBI watchlist. And then something in him said they should break up because he was holding her back… from what? She had no fucking idea?? He just dumped her. Like it was easy like he had no problem doing it, on the phone in 27 seconds and then he was gone.
It’s not like she had huge life goals and they both knew success in high school didn’t translate after… just look at Steve Harrington at scoops ahoy? And now the video store? He was on track to be the most successful just because he was the most popular at school, where was Y/N on that list? She didn’t know, but it was probably closer to the bottom.
She calls him again, not getting him, only Wayne. “Dude, I’m in hairdressing school it’s not like I’m going to be the fucking president? What does he mean holding me back?”
“I don’t know,” Wayne sighs. “I can’t keep telling ya his secrets, you’re gonna have to talk to him about it.”
“He won’t talk to me?!”
“He’ll have to if you just showed up here?”
He was right. She knew it. “okay.. I’ll see what I can do.” And she left him alone after that.
She couldn’t get back to Hawkins for a while, she knew he wouldn’t be in Indianapolis for the unforeseeable future, so she just had to sit and stew in her feelings. Something she wasn’t really good at doing. She didn’t like to keep them in and she no longer had him there to tell everything to. She hated it.
She wanted to get the feelings out so she picked up a pencil and started scribbling out her feelings, noticing how some of it fit and rhymed and made sense more as a song. A breakup song, mildly angry, mostly confused… but a song nonetheless.
She was tapping on her desk, humming, “call me, say it’s over… I was your best friend we were the perfect shade… out of every colour, how did our love turn, how did our love turn grey?” She sings to herself.
With some of his stuff already at her apartment, the place he was supposed to move into next month, she finds his first ever electric guitar and his old amp, the ones that mean the most to him (much like how she felt) and plugged them in. She couldn’t stop herself from finding a riff, bounding her leg along, imagining hard drums, the kind of music she and the boys used to pretend to make in Gareth’s garage.. and it makes sense.
And it’s good.
So the plan changes, she makes a few phone calls, and then she has a band and then they’re coming over for practice and then it becomes a real song. She knew a few girls from the school band that had their hearts broken, she knew they’d be able to bring the energy that she wanted to this song and they sure fuckin did.
Gareth’s little sister, Gretchen, was her drummer, she was just as pissed off at Eddie for breaking up with Y/N as she was, and even angrier that the whole mess resulted in Jason breaking her brother's hand. Buckley could read notes, so transferring from trumpet to Key’s was easy for her and she really enjoyed it. She even added some extra sounds, synth, sandbags, and a cowbell? It brought another level to the song she didn’t know they needed, and the finishing touch was someone she never even knew had any musical talent, but Robin vogued for her. Nancy Wheeler could play guitar and she was fucking awesome at it. And also incredibly pissed at her ex, Jonathan. So it helped. It helped a lot.
The 4 of them were all angry and talented, and so the song reflected it.
So, on a stormy Tuesday, with all their stuff piled into the back of Nancy’s station wagon, they drove from practice in Indianapolis all the way to the Hideout in Hawkins. She knew they had a gig, or Eddie did, they weren’t a full band with Gareth’s hand still in a cast, so the boys just sat in the audience, turning his crowd from 3 to 6.
When Y/N called the hideout and booked their spot she gave them direct orders to not advertise who else was playing before Eddie’s spot. They didn’t care, it was a weird request but they kept their word. Eddie had no idea when he walked in that his ex-girlfriend would be coming out in a few minutes with his old guitar in his old clothes, singing a song about how he fucking hurt her for no reason.
He gets a drink to calm his pre-show nerves like always, sitting at the bar and watching the roadies set up the stage. It’s not unusual for him to not know who was playing, it was however for no one working there to give him a hint or a name, or anything really about who it was. For some reason he thought it was someone famous, he thought maybe the town being on the news brought someone new in, and the growing crowd fed his suspicion.
And then people he knew started coming in.
Steve and Dustin, who had a blue wristband on to let the bartender know not to serve him. “What are you doing here?”
“Oh, Robin's playing tonight,” Steve shrugs it off.
“She joined a band?”
He laughs, not knowing that Eddie didn’t know yet. “Yeah, with Nancy and Y/N?”
“What?” He barely has time to get a response out of Steve when the lights dim and the curtain closes.
Steve places a hand on his back, “get ready, man.”
“Fuck…” his heart drops to his stomach, he feels absolutely sick about having to see her… but he also wants to cry because he’s missed her so fucking much. Hating himself for the choice he made from the second he hung up the phone, he hasn’t been able to face her in the wake of everything.
He just couldn’t ruin her life being associated with him that closely.
When the curtain opens again the lights turn red and blue, making her glow a beautiful purple as she stands there with his guitar swung around her shoulders. He makes his way through the crowd to the front, watching her with big eyes as she introduces everyone.
“Hi,” she smiles, unable to see past the blinding lights, she had no idea he was this close to the stage. “I’m Y/N, and we’re Heartbreak Princess… and we’re really excited to share our first song with you guys.”
She turns around singling to Gretchen to start the song, it was really happening now. With light drums, she turns back to the mic, eyes closed, she takes a deep breath, “Everything was simple, I was your best friend. We were the perfect shade. Out of every colour… How did our love turn, how did our love turn grey?”
She steps away from the mic, biting her lip as she prepares for the reaction, “Fuck yeah!” Robin shouts as the beat drops and the song kicks in.
Stepping back in, playing along, she sings: “I’ve never known the glitter and gold or why I feel numb at 20 years old? Oh, why do I always do this again, again?
Tried to fill a boy who was empty inside. Traced around the edges, started crossing the line. Don’t just tell me it’s all in it’s all in my head.”
“It’s all in my head!” The girls sing backup.
“Call me, say it’s over. I was your best friend. We were the perfect shade. Out of every colour, how did our love turn, how did our love turn grey?"
Gretchen fucking kills the drums, angry as possible, really making it hit.
Letting Nancy take over as she mimes along… “Here we go, we’re at it again, I need a little time, could you pencil me in. I’ll make you hate me just to see if you can,” she puts in the dramatics.
“Let’s see if you can!” The girls sing back.
“Out of every colour,” Robin sings, first, followed by Y/N, “You were my favourite.” “We were the perfect shade,” they sing together into the silence.
And then the base drops and she jumps, singing loud enough still that the mic picks up her cry, “Oooh! Oh!”
Gretchen goes off! Nancy shreds so hard a press on nail pops off onto the stage, and the whole room erupts into chaos! It’s incredible.
“How could you say it’s over? When I was your best friend and we were a perfect shade. Out of every colour, why did our love turn, why did our love turn grey?”
She steps away, joining Nancy in the most epic guitar solo known to man, the two of them facing each other, letting Robin sing the rest of the song as they played together.
“Why did our love turn grey?”
She plays out the last few notes, turning back to the microphone as the band stops but the room doesn’t go quiet. “Thank you.”
He’s absolutely dumbfounded.
Standing in the front, bombarded by people rushing to the front in the heat of the moment, just absolutely blown away by how amazing she is.
He had no idea she had that in her, and by god was he proud of her for doing it. He claps and cheers, whistling so loud she locks eyes with him and knows he’s there close to the stage. And it pisses her off a bit.
“That was for my dickhead ex, this one is for me,” she announces before they start another song, a cover this time, Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks to be exact.
She has a whole set to finish before he’s allowed to talk to her before he can say sorry, so he backs up into the crowd and gives the front to someone who wants it, letting Y/N have her moment.
And he’s gotta give it to the girls, Gretchen is kicking ass almost better than her brother… and he’s spent a lot of time playing in front of Gareth to know. Nancy is fucking awesome, he didn’t even know she knew how to play and he bet she could play better than him with those delicate fingers. And Robin can sing. Like really sing! Singing most of Edge of seventeen, hitting every high note of the background music, it was fucking amazing.
And with the song fading to quiet, Robin shows off again with her piano work as an all too familiar favourite of Eddie’s comes on. Head Over Heels, by Tears For Fears… it’s like she’s singing right into his soul.
He was wasting time. He took her heart, he broke her heart and he threw it away and she didn’t want any of it.
Like she’s singing right into his soul, he can’t believe he’s hurt her like this all for his own peace of mind. She didn’t give a fuck if he actually killed those people, she’d still come to knock on the glass and hold that prison phone each week to talk to him. She loved him more than anything.
He knew that now.
And in their last song, bringing them to the end of their 20-minute set, Nancy switches place with Y/N to sing Separate Ways by Journey. Which is when Eddie sees Jonathan head towards the door and right out of the bar.
All the girls up there were going through something. Eddie knew more than most people in the crowd, that confusion that Nancy was singing about was her newfound interest in Robin and her betrayal from Jonathan, changing the plans they had. And she lets out every feeling on that stage because of it, Nancy Wheeler is a rockstar.
There’s a 25-minute interval after gigs, a random playlist is played to fill the silence as everyone mingles back to the bar to refuel and Eddie heads backstage, waiting for her to come out and talk to him like she’s been dying to.
“I’m sorry,” are the first words to leave his mouth when he sees her.
She takes off her, well, his guitar and places it in its case before she pays him any mind. He can’t take it so he walks over to her, crowding her space but not touching her, “I’m so sorry.”
“You better be,” she crosses her arms and looks up at him. “That was so fucked up, you know? Not everyone in the world hates you, and so fucking what? I don’t! Let me love you, you fucking idiot.”
“Okay,” he doesn’t fight her. “I am an idiot, I really thought you wouldn’t want to go through life associated with me…”
“I don’t care what people say, and you shouldn’t either, we both know it’s not the truth,” she reminds him, stepping closer to him and placing her hands on his chest as she looks up into his eyes. “I love you.”
“I love you,” he cups her cheek in his one hand, caressing her with his thumb. “It’s been so hard ignoring you I’m literally so fucking stupid, I can’t believe I—
“It’s okay now,” she takes a deep breath and gives him a smile. “But I’m still going to perform that song all the time.”
He laughs, “as you should it’s fucking amazing. You’re amazing.”
He leans in for a kiss, pressing their smiling lips together as their noses bump. He breathes her in, the kiss softens and his hands both wander to her back to pull her in flush with him. She holds him back just as tight, very content with him back in her life.
Of course, all it took was a song for him to get that they were meant to be together forever. But at least he got it now.

“We’ve been together for a year and 10 months” “the only reason I didn’t tell you is because I didn’t want my brother finding out cause even when he doesn’t know he’s trying to fuck everything up” as I finally told them the truth I kept hidden they looked at me in silence.
“Wait… run that back” Miyeon finally broke the silence trying to figure out if she heard that right. “You hid this from us for a year” “and 10 months” I corrected Soyeon, who looked pissed at the confession. “I understand why you hid it from my Yunho, but us?”
I looked at her with an apologetic look, as I tried to apologize “I’m so sorry it’s just that we didn’t know who to tell so we decided to just keeping a secret from everyone.” They hugged me reassuring me that it’s fine, we walked out of the toilets and went back to our classes, I looked at mingi and mouthed that they know he nodded and smiled.
Once school was finished Mingi went up to me and we go to his house together after I told Yunho that I was going to Miyeon’s house. Mingi back hugged me as soon as we stepped into the house, he pouted knowing that I was gonna mention the date “baby I’m so sorry this is happening” “what do I do, I don’t want to go on the date, I have you” I turn around and he looked at me and I cup his cheeks telling him the only thing he could do. “You have to go on that date” “just promise me you won’t fall for one of them” he immediately told me not to worry and promised me that he won’t and pecked my lips.
“So now your friends know” I nodded as Mingi stated, trying to change the topic of our conversation “Yep and now they’re gonna tell their boyfriends” Mingi nodded and rested my head on his chest. “Let’s just hope they don’t tell Yunho.” “Oh yeah speaking of, go get ready for that date” “wait you actually want me to go?” Mingi looked at me confused and since he didn’t want to go “yeah, when is Yunho coming anyway?” “Oh um he never told me-“
We heard a knock, I immediately went to Mingi’s room to go hide. Yunho walked in and walked into Mingi’s room, talking about how good the date is gonna be, Mingi tried stopping him but his best friend ignored and carried on walking. “Yunho I don’t think I can come I feel sick” Yunho looked at him confused as Mingi tried looking around to find where I was hiding so he could make sure Yunho avoids it.
“I see you’ve already picked your outfit” Mingi looked at Yunho confused, finally focussing his gaze at the outfit sitting on his bed. “Go on get changed” Yunho picked the outfits up giving it to him, Mingi put the outfit on and Yunho admired the fit on him, I was hiding under the bed so I took a quick peak at Mingi’s outfit and smiled at my masterpiece.
Mingi saw me and immediately pushed Yunho out of the room so they could go to the date. As soon as I heard the door I came out of my hiding place and went home, I texted the girls since I truly hated the idea of my boyfriend going on a date with some girl.

6: Dismay
Underground visitor, gn reader x monster (male drider). Sfw. TW for forced touching, violence - Morgan should come with their own warning tbh. Previous Next
Your tension was already running high when walking around outside, but it’s tenfold now that Morgan has decided to forcibly tag along.
Their steps are so close you feel you have to constantly lean away as to not accidentally bump into one of their legs.
"What are you so interested in magic for?" your 'companion' asks, casually glancing around the marketplace.
You note that, out here as well, no one is staring at you anymore. More-so, everyone is doing their utmost to stay far out of your way.
Or well. Perhaps out of Morgan’s way. It’s hard to tell just who is being avoided with the monstrous spider practically breathing down your neck.
You reply with a question of your own. "What do you want?"
Morgan smirks. "Something for the same thing?"
"Forget it."
They laugh. “SO - I don't see your custodian anywhere?"
"He should be around here somewhere," you deflect.
"Hmm. I'll wait with you, then. I’m sure he won’t mind.”
“He’ll mind if I’m trampled flat by the time he gets here,” you grunt, once again sidestepping one of Morgan’s pointy legs that got too close for comfort.
“Not to worry sentry, you know I’m not gonna let anything happen to you,” Morgan states as-a-matter-of-factly, either not getting what you meant or simply choosing to ignore it.
“Then try not to step on me,” you snarl to make it clear for them.
“Wouldn’t want to lose you in this rowdy crowd, now. Just walk normally, I’ll find your rhythm soon enough.”
You don’t like the way they said that, coating their words with meanings you don’t understand and somewhat keeping things out of your reach. You have no idea what their motive is, though their behavior makes darn sure you don’t want to find out. How the hell do you get rid of them?
Morgan speaks up again after a brief pause. “You know, I’m not jesting when I say walking around alone out here’s not the greatest idea. You did notice you were followed before, right?”
Oh yeah. The reason you fled into the tavern in the first place. You look around, but don’t see the snatchers anywhere anymore. You had completely forgotten, considering you now have to be wary of another very unnerving shadow tailing you.
Wait. if Morgan knew about that, how long have they been watching you wander the market without your notice?
“Are you their substitute?” you ask flatly.
Morgan chuckles darkly and leans in over you, red eyes glinting. “I’m the upgrade.”
You wrinkle your nose, having passed by 'too close for comfort' eons ago. That’s enough.
You twist and duck out underneath them, purposely slinking in between two stalls too narrow for them to fit through, hoping to put a little distance between you and maybe enabling yourself to blend in somewhere. You hear Morgan heave an exasperated sigh as you do so.
And then you hear someone else let out a startled screech.
You flip around, and watch as Morgan simply steps up on top of the two stalls and starts climbing over them, uncaring of any wares their spindly legs roughly shoves aside. A birdlike person behind one of them flails backwards, snaps its beak at them and glares in anger, but doesn’t make any move to stop them. Food, pots and clothing items scatter and litter the ground.
Morgan fixates on you with a determined stare, and you feel yourself rooted in place. Something about the uncanny view of them towering over everything else, slowly making their way toward you, has made you freeze in place. The stalls creak and protest under their weight as they casually step down and stop in front of you again.
The seller glares at you, and begins picking up their dirtied wares from the ground. They’re not the only one staring. Multiple eyes look at you judgmentally, as if you’re the one responsible for Morgan’s antics.
“Anything else?” Morgan asks you casually, ignoring them all. They wipe some grease off their front legs in the grass.
It takes you a second to regain control of your body. When you do, anger bubbles in you. You gesture at the poor salesman. “You couldn’t have walked around?” you snap at them.
They cog an eyebrow at you. “Couldn’t you?”
You groan and walk away. Morgan follows you.
You try and find the most crowded spaces you can, instincts telling you to stay in sight of the group where it's safer. Though your instincts may have failed you here, as it seems whenever you approach somewhere, people around you quietly filter away. No one picks up on your silent pleas for help to get rid of the dangerous person actively stalking you in plain sight. Common-folk turn away before you’ve even uttered a word. Morgan keeps to your side, patiently waiting for your bluff to be called out.
You glance up at them, a knowing but humored look in their eye. You get the feeling they're enjoying this.
It’s sometime in the late afternoon as you round the last row of the marketplace. Some common-folk are starting to pack up their wares, their deed done for the day.
In the end, you’ve exhausted your options, and you feel a small sting of terror in not knowing what will happen now. Morgan is still glued to your side, having succeeded in keeping you walking with their legs stepping in place close to you. You haven’t had a single chance to dart in between the stalls or make a break for it.
As you reach a corner of a building, somewhat excluded from the rest of the market, Morgan decides the gig is officially up. They take advantage of your close proximity and promptly stop with two legs on either side of you, forcing you to halt lest you stumble into them. They turn into you and pushes, gently but firmly getting your back up against the wall of the small building.
“Alright, that’s enough of that, I think,” they snicker.
You try and duck under their legs, but they quickly stop you in your tracks by leaning down and grasping your shoulders in their pedipalps.
“Christ, would you just leave me alone?!” you spit, grabbing uselessly at the two furry appendages keeping you in place while two front legs cage you in by gently pressing on either side of you.
Morgan observes you with an amused expression. “You sure are stubborn, I’ll give you that! I do wonder what you’re so on the fence about. It’s been fun messing about, but this has gone on long enough.”
The lean down, holding your chin in their hands and forcing you to look at them in the eyes. Red fills your vision. "I know you're alone, sentry," they whisper.
You shudder.
"Don't try and fool me. No custodian in their right mind would ever let you walk around like this, so nervous and on edge. Need to stay safe, yes? Why won't you just let me help you?"
“Help me?” you grit you teeth and try to squirm out of their grip. They don’t let you. “You’ve been terrorizing me for several hours! What the hell is your deal? What do you want from me?”
Morgan looks at you a bit funny, tilting their head. “..Is that not obvious?” they ask. “I want to take you in and be your custodian.”
..Come again?
You stare at them.
Morgan smiles, brushing a thumb across your cheek. "It's very cute how nervous you are, even if I don't really get why. We are literally built for each other. You have nothing to fear from me. Why won't you just accept my offer?"
“What are you talking about – built for each other?” you ask, finally pulling your head out of their hands.
They regard you in confusion again, brows slightly furrowed. It’s not unlike the way Dren first looked at you when you got here. “Well, I’m a custodian. You know, a drider?” Morgan’s lower body chitters quietly as if to underline the fact. They give you a lopsided smirk as if you’re both in on a joke. “And you’re a sentry. We tend to team up from time to time.”
Oh. So that’s what they look like.
You don’t really know what you expected. You only wish Dren would have warned you a bit sooner that there was one specific kind of common-folk to watch out for. But perhaps that has something to do with the fact that he is one and the same.
It certainly explains some of the odd anxieties that seemed to blossom within him at times you were near.
“I do wonder why you’ve kept up all these walls for so long,” Morgan continues, bringing you back into the unpleasant moment. Their look softens, the most gentle expression you’ve seen on them yet. “Are you running away from someone? Promise I won't make you go back if you are.”
Shivers crawl down your spine.
You throat is dry.
“Or maybe I’m just your first?” they ponder, brushing a stray hair out of your face. “It doesn’t really matter if it’s one or the other. You know I’ll take good care of you regardless, so why wont you just let me? Why have you been fighting me all day?”
There’s something suffocating about this closeness, being trapped up against the wall and stared down. They wont listen to your words, and you can feel a prickling sensation of fear threatening to start clouding your mind with survival instincts if you don't get out of here soon.
Morgan shifts ever so slightly, and their legs pushes against something in the satchel at your side that pokes against your leg. You faintly remember you did not come unarmed.
With quivering hands you reach into it, keeping Morgan distracted by looking them in the eye - your hand reaches the handle of the small knife. In one motion, you've snatched it from its space inside the satchel, and jab it at the leg at your right side with a grunt. The blade scrapes across the tough chitin, creating a superficial cut.
Morgan flinches with a low hiss, the kind of noise you'd make when startled by being hit with a drop of hot water from a boiling pot - nothing that really does a lot of harm.
That move might have been a mistake.
Morgan briefly looks down at the open cut that's now running across their leg, before focusing back on you. They mostly look a worried, alongside a little disappointed.
"So afraid.. Who did this to you?" they ask, free hand snatching your wrist before you can cause some real damage. "Drop that."
They knock your arm against the wall behind you, causing the knife to fly out of your grasp and it lands on the grass below.
The legs keeping you in place slightly curl inwards, latching onto your legs and lifting, and suddenly your feet have stopped touching the ground.
You gasp. “Stop – stop, stop, put me down-” you struggle against them again, squirming in their grip.
“Shh, shh, none of that now, you’re safe,” Morgan coos, leaning their torso in. “I’m not angry.”
Their pedipalps shift, maneuvering so that they hold your waist rather than your shoulders, legs supporting your weight and keeping balanced. From this vantage point they have an easier time pressing their torso up against you. “It's alright. How many time do I have to tell you you’re not in danger?” they chuckle.
You’re completely wrapped up in them. It feels like the walls are closing in on you.
“Not in – just let me go!” you cry out.
You try and fail to keep any distance, putting your hands on their chest to at least keep their upper body a bit at bay. You’re surrounded from all sides. It’s claustrophobic.
Morgan slowly trails their arms over your shoulders and lean you into them, completely ignoring your hands shoving at their chest. “Don’t be scared,” they say gently. “Calm down. Nothing’s gonna hurt you.”
They hold you there for a bit, patiently waiting for you to stop straining in their grip, muttering soft words and reassurances. You struggle with all your might, but, in the end, Morgan is simply stronger than you. Eventually you exhaust yourself and remain frozen, frustrated at this fruitless battle.
You heart is galloping a thousand miles and hour as they close the rest of the distance once you still.
“Let me take care of you,” Morgan mutters in your ear, securing their arms around you.
A sudden warmth spreads from them as they do so, but you don’t really register it as their body heat. It’s something else. There's some sort of energy rolling off of them as they lean in; It’s comforting, like being wrapped in a blanket. A pleasant sensation that's trying to lure you in, calm you down. A promise of safety if you just let it inside.
"You feel it, don't you?" they ask, smile in their voice.
The warmth burrows inside your chest and something inside you shifts. You feel strangely drawn to them, your tense muscles going lax. You suddenly want nothing more than to just breathe out, trust them, close your eyes and believe you’re finally somewhere safe. You have to actively restrain yourself from leaning back into them, your mind still going a million miles an hour.
It’s not right.
"I can't," you whisper, trying to wriggle backwards out of their grip despite your body actively trying to prevent you. "I can't, I'm not-"
"Shh, sure you are," they purr. "You’re almost there. Just -" they're cut off.
Morgan suddenly recoils with a startled hiss, narrowly dodging the pointed ends of a black pair of spiders legs that forcefully slams into the ground where they just stood a second earlier.
Morgan tries to pull you with them, but something tough wraps around your torso and legs and yanks you out of their grasp in the millisecond the startle loosened it. You fall to the ground and slip backwards, your body still lax and feeling strange from whatever Morgan just did to you. Something soft curls around both your shoulders, steadying you. You sense movement all around you, that comes to a sudden halt, a familiar pair of black legs crossed in front of you protectively.
"This one is spoken for," Dren's voice sounds above you, thunderous and snarling. "Leave them alone."
You feel like something inside you snaps, like a cord traveling through your chest is suddenly torn. A chill seeps through your heart and panic settles in your core, and now you find yourself unable to either fight or flight. You're in some sort of catatonia, your entire body shaking.
Morgan stops and stares at him, eyes narrowed to slits. "Is that so?" they hiss. "Sure didn't seem like it when they wandered around on their own. Were you even aware you left them exposed to snatchers?! Some custodian you are!"
The tension in the air sends another wave of nausea through you, and you roughly palm at the pedipalps holding you in place. You have to run. Get the hell out of here.
Let me go.
“And you’re any better forcing your care upon them?” Dren counters angrily, without noticing. “Get out of my sight or I’ll tear you to shreds.”
They size each other up for a moment. Dren’s bigger, but you have no idea what else Morgan is capable of.
Morgan looks between Dren and you for a bit, and then their eyes widen, taking in your shaking form. “Wait a minute. You’re not even bonded, are you? What gives you ANY right-”
"Choice," Dren booms, causing you to whimper. "You've ignored all of their signals. They're terrified of you. What makes you think you could ever take care of them like that?"
Morgan glares at him for a bit, but they frown when they look back at you. You're having a hard time focusing on anything, your eyes darting from one to the other. You chest is aching, heart pounding. You feel like you can't breathe.
"Choice," Morgan repeats slowly, purposely keeping their voice down, measured and controlled. They shift their threatening posture to a slightly less tense one. "That's a little hypocritical, isn't it? It seems this sentry has not made any choice at all. They're terrified of both of us."
You hear Dren take a breath to argue, though stops himself, probably finally feeling your trembling. You just stare ahead blankly, superficial breathing not doing much to clear your razing mind.
Dren very carefully bends down slightly, guiding you down to sit. You wobbling legs don't argue as you go down.
He releases your shoulders and stands up straight to get a look at you, though keeping his legs still blocking you from Morgan.
You try and calm your haggard breathing, but you can't. Panic comes in waves, muscles locked like you’ve been twung like thread and pulled tight. You sense Dren coming closer, slowly reaching for you, but you frantically bat him away, unable to stop yourself. "Don't touch me," you spit at him.
Dren immediately backs off, looking at you surprised. "I'm sorry," he says quickly, fidgeting.
“See?” Morgan hisses at Dren, slowly stepping a bit closer to you though remaining out of his reach. “You’re just making it worse. Get away from them.”
Dren takes a deep breath, and softly calls your name. “I want to help you, but I’ll have to pick you up. Is that alright?”
You can’t respond.
“If you touch them again you wont have limbs to touch with anymore,” Morgan growls lowly, and looks to you. “If this poor excuse of a caretaker is the reason you’ve been so afraid I’ll take him on. Say the word and he’s gone.”
Dren ball his fists, realizing he cannot help you right now, and turns to face Morgan again. He blocks you from their view, to which Morgan chitters angrily.
“This is your doing,” Dren snaps, placing his legs firmly as if preparing for an impact. A warning clattering escapes from his lower body. “I suggest you leave.”
“And I suggest you let me handle this. As opposed to you, I can actually do my job,” Morgan huffs, not intimidated, readying themself as well.
The commotion has attracted attention from the rest of the marketplace. It seems the common-folk have finished their duties and are now anxiously looking on as tension rise between Morgan and Dren. There’s shouting, suddenly, the onlookers notifying each other of what’s happening.
You don’t know what to do. It looks like they’re about to duke it out, and your fate is left up to whatever the outcome of that might be. Once again, you’re in no control of what happens to you. You let out a shuddering breath, and heave in another as deep as you can, forcing the air to stay in your lungs. Dren hears your sudden shift of airflow, and quickly casts a glance back to check on you.
Control, you repeat it in your mind, feeling the constricting foreign panic that flooded you release its hold just a fraction. Give me back control!
WHAM.
Morgan takes advantage of Dren's momentary distraction, forcefully leaping into him and knocking him to the side. Dren topples over, skidding to a halt with a gnarly hiss, legs rapidly twisting to get himself upright again.
In the brief seconds of his absence Morgan rapidly descends upon you, reaching forward to grab you again – though their arms are blocked by Dren having recovered, and leapt to intercept. They collide almost on top of you, causing you to curl in on yourself to avoid collateral damage, yet somehow both of them manage to deftly step around you as they forcefully struggle against each other.
There’s another smack and a snarl as Dren clocks Morgan square in the jaw with his right fist, and he plants his legs firmly around you. Each of his steps are thunderous as uses his size advantage to force Morgan backwards, legs skidding through the grass below and efficiently pulling the fight away from you.
Morgan bucks down, following the direction Dren is pushing them by leaping backwards and out of his grip. This results in Morgan now basically landing on top of the common-folk that had looked on until now, and they all scramble for cover. Morgan hisses in annoyance, preparing for Dren that’s coming at them like a freight train.
They collide, twisting and turning around each other as the stumble through the market place, knocking over carts and thrashing stalls. The common-folk evacuate the premises from the two, and startled screams and yells of warnings ring through the air.
You’ve managed to somewhat gather yourself, having space from them and the effects of whatever had gripped you somewhat diminished, and you get to your feet. You watch the carnage as Morgan and Dren, uncaring of anything but doing damage to the other, thrashes the marketplace.
You turn to a common-folk, the bird-like one you saw earlier, that has taken shelter at the outskirts next to you.
“Why isn’t anyone stopping them?!” you yell.
The bird immediately recoils from you as if you’re infected. He stares at you, incredulous. “And what would we do? They’ll kill us all!”
“But they wont kill you,” a gnoll next to him adds. “Why aren’t YOU doing anything?” she snaps.
Why aren’t you indeed.
Hissing and clacking of limbs colliding fills the air, and the occasional groan of wood being splintered. If they don’t stop soon, at this rate the marketplace will be reduced to nothing – though watching them clash renders you immobile. Even if you had the courage to intervene, you don’t think you could stop them.
Morgan manages to take revenge from the sucker punch by ramming their elbow into Dren’s solar plexus and he lets out a painful wheeze. In turn, Dren’s legs shoots forward and rakes across the side of Morgan’s abdomen, almost tearing through the rough carapace.
Morgan grunts, and quickly shifts to the side before Dren’s claws can do more damage. They crouch forward, and swipes at one of Dren’s legs just as he’s about to put weight on it. Dren falters a smidge, giving Morgan an opening that they quickly exploit.
They grasp around Dren’s torso and wrestles him to the ground, standing over him as he scrambles to right himself into a less exposed position. Morgan’s front legs lift to deliver a devastating blow, though Dren shifts, and uses the position to get his legs under Morgan’s lower body. He lifts Morgan off the ground, and hurls them to the side at a nearby building. The force of the impact knocks down the wall of the fragile wooden structure with a loud crash, and the ceiling of it goes down with it.
And then it’s quiet.
A somber silence settles over the marketplace in the fallout of the carnage as the dust settles. Dren slowly gets back on his feet, sluggish, heaving for breath. His entire body is shuddering, awaiting.
A few seconds pass.
Morgan doesn’t get back up.
Why is that causing a small ping of anguish in your chest?
A quiet muttering runs through the marketplace, as Dren rights himself with a disgruntled huff. He opens and closes his palms, deepening his breathing, grounding himself for a bit.
He turns and scans the crowd of terrified onlookers until his gaze lands on you. He starts making his way toward you, low to the ground and deliberately slow, though his eyes never leave your face. As if on cue, the people around you start filtering away, leaving you stranded alone in the corner of the destroyed marketplace while the custodian is quietly approaching.
Dren stops short in front of you and opens and closes his mouth. He looks reluctant, once again back to fiddling with his hands. You scan over the fresh bruises and cuts that now litter his body, a deep gash in one of his legs silently leaking a strange pale fluid.
“I’m so sorry,” is all he says, before he gingerly leans down and picks you up by the shoulders. He lifts you behind his torso and sets you on his back.
You don’t argue.
You can’t.
You stare back at the marketplace, and in particular the building where Morgan is lying in the rubble. The common-folk are slowly filtering back, almost like a steam of fish closing behind a predator that’s swum through them.
“Are they – did you-?” you manage, eyes still on the collapsed building.
“I don’t know,” Dren whispers, and starts walking.
You gingerly put your arms around his stomach for balance, legs settling on either side of his upper body. He’s surprisingly warm.

What if he and reader went on like a date or something and the reader baked/cooked something....or had like some lotion/chapstick/lipgloss/idk on and it had strawberries in it and the reader obviously didn't know and yeah.
Strawberries - Robert Chase
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robert Chase x fem!reader Word count: idk I wrote this right here A/n: idk if I got the hospital stuff right but shhh ignore.
Baking is your love language. You have always loved to make some sort of sweet for the people around you. Birthday? Here’s a homemade cake for you. Graduation? Here’s some cookies.
Part of that meant remembering everyone’s favorites. Your sister would die for a white cake with lemon frosting. Your boss had a soft spot for red velvet with cream cheese icing.
The one person you haven’t gotten that information on was the man of your eye, Robert Chase. You’ve been on one single date, a nice restaurant that he insisted he pay on. But tonight you asked him to come over.
You planned on making dinner and of course you had to make a dessert. Strawberry cupcakes were your personal favorite and since you were already anxious it seemed like a win-win. Robert would be able to feel the attraction you felt towards him and you’d be able to breathe while you ate.
Win-win.
As you waited for him to show up you nitpicked at everything. Just slightly adjusting the two plates on the table at least three times in an attempt to not over think. He was just running late, he wasn’t ghosting you and he’d be here any second.
Which was true. Just as you started to think maybe you should give up (which is dramatic, it’s only been ten minutes), there was a couple gentle knocks on your front door. “Coming.”
You weren’t dressed up to the nines but still, the dress you wore was fancy enough that it was fitting for a nice dinner. His outfit was similar. Dark but well fitting jeans but a nice buttoned up shirt that was rolled up to his elbows.
“Wow you look… amazing,” his accented voice made you blush as it always did, ducking your head down slightly.
“Thanks, so do you. Come in. I made spaghetti bolognese, hope that’s good,” you stepped aside, rubbing your thumb nail against your index finger nervously as he stepped into your apartment.
Sure you’d been talking for a couple weeks but you didn’t exactly reach the ‘visiting one another’s places’ stage yet. Or, at least not until now. So his intense curiosity at your decor felt a bit overwhelming.
“That’s fine, I like that statue by the tv,” he pointed towards the small Greek statue right next to your television, a small smile spreading on your face.
“Thanks, it’s a uh, Medusa. I won’t bore you with the lore and stuff,” you chuckled, motioning for him to follow you into the dining room.
He was quiet for a moment behind you before sighing, “I doubt it’s boring. But it’ll be a story for next time right?” A warm smile growing on his face as he saw the set up table. “Wow, this looks great.”
Once more you blushed, unable to stop the way his face and accent made your heart nearly leap into your throat.
“Thanks, uh, thank you. I’ve always liked cooking and baking, that’s why I offered to make you dinner. I hope it’s okay,” you said nervously, putting the bowl of food onto the table and sitting across from Chase.
Of course as soon as it was set and the food dispersed you ate, going on about work and just, getting to know one another. What life was like in Australia for him, how life was for you back in your hometown.
Simple things, casual dinner talk. “You said you like baking? How’d you get into that?” He asked, wiping his mouth with a napkin as you stood to clear the dishes.
“My grandma insisted that I learn how she made her snickerdoodle cookies and chocolate cake. That snowballed into messing with recipes when I was bored. Took home ec and culinary in high school.” You explained as you rinsed the plates off.
“What’s your favorite thing to make?”
“Oh god, probably cakes? I’ve gotten pretty damn good at decorating them so it’s fun. You can tweak any little thing to put your own spin on the flavor. It’s amazing.”
You couldn’t help but get a bit excited talking about it. It was the one major connection between you and your grandmother that felt strong enough to last centuries. Generations.
Chase stood, walking up next to you, “That’s really cool, you’ll have to show me sometime.” He grinned, leaning up against the counter and looking down at you.
“I uh, I actually made some cupcakes for tonight. So if you wanted to try some of my baking,” you offered, turning slightly to him.
“Yes please,” he answered immediately, “I’d love to.”
His response made your stomach flutter, reaching over for the container you kept the cupcakes in. “Here, have one,” you held it out to him, waiting for him to take it before you took your own.
“Thanks,” his voice soft as he unwrapped the treat and took a bite.
You paused in anticipation before seeing his face drop. “What? What’s wrong?” You asked quickly, putting your own down.
“Is this strawberry?” He questioned, you nodding, confusion very clear on your face.
Before he could reply again he fell to the floor, the cupcake rolling away from him slightly. “Shit,” you went to kneel next to him before stopping yourself.
911, call 911. You ran to grab your phone and called before going to kneel next to him. You were just a baker, you didn’t know the first thing about medical crap.
All you could do was loosen the buttons by his neck and check that he was still getting air in. Not too long after you called there was a knock on the door and the first responders were giving him epinephrine and taking him away to the hospital.
Of course you were right behind, driving as quickly (and safely) as you could, to get there when he did.
“Hi im uh, Robert chase just got brought in for a uh, well I’m assuming an allergic reaction, could I go see him?” You talked to the lady in the emergency room, being told to wait as she checked someone was even here.
When she came back she nodded, “follow me.” The lady guided you to a curtain, pushing it aside to show the blonde laying on the bed with an iv in his hand and a pulsometer on his finger.
“God, I am so sorry-“
“Hey, don’t be, you didn’t know.” He cut you off before you could even get the apology out. “I should have said something about the strawberry thing if anything. I knew you were cooking and baking.”
You shook your head, “I should’ve asked. But you’ll be okay right?” You questioned, moving a chair to sit beside him.
“Yeah, not the first time it’s happened. Definitely won’t be the last.” He sighed, shaking his head. “Life right?”
A soft chuckle came from you before you nodded, “Yeah I guess so. I’ll be sure to avoid strawberries from now on.” You offered.
“Probably a good idea.” He replied with a laugh, no hard feelings at all.
“I think this is the first time I’ve almost killed my date.”
“For my sake please make it your last too,” he joked, shifting slightly on the hospital bed.
You fake thought about it with a hum before nodding. “I’ll see what I can do.”

Bryan/Claudio #22, slow dancing?
Predictably I decided to make this a future timestamp sequel to one of my verses. This time the roh/early wwe one, these things will never change for us at all.
This references a lot of stuff from that story, so I recommend reading it first.
Takes place right after the 6/22/22 dynamite when Bryan announces he won’t be at Forbidden Door but he has a secret replacement.
Just sap and fluff. A smidgen of angst & past Nigel/Bryan
If I just lay here (1400 words)
Bryan is running on adrenaline from the moment he finishes the promo, and all the way to the Milwaukee airport and back home.
(He booked himself on the red-eye, but Claudio refused to let him take a Lyft from the airport.)
He’s disappointed he won’t be facing Zack yet, but he’s also excited for what’s to come. They’re keeping it a secret as much as possible, but naturally the dirt sheets know Claudio’s contract expired and he hasn’t re-signed yet.
So there’s speculation. Just like there’s been speculation on Bryan and Claudio’s relationship for years now.
It’s an open secret within the business, they’ve just never felt the need to make some huge statement.
After Bryan came back from his retirement, they made things even more official than they had been — buying a modest house together, in Washington but also not too close to home.
It felt like a vow renewal, even though they’d never formally taken any. Bryan hadn’t been in a great place, during that period of forced retirement. He found himself playing out his own version of what happened between him and Nigel, and he was close to fucking things up for good.
It was actually Nigel who pulled his head out of his ass, told him to get whatever help he needed to sort it all out, so he didn’t throw away the most important thing in his life.
(The ‘like I did’ went unspoken.)
It had been the pep talk Bryan needed, and he stopped pushing Claudio away after that, had a lot of therapeutic conversations with Nigel, and channeled his uncharacteristic anger and frustration into meditation and holistic retreats.
He reconnected more with nature, trained as hard as he could, and got cleared by every doctor except the one who mattered. Until he finally did.
Things were perfect again after that, until Bryan decided it was time for another change, this time on his terms.
AEW felt like a breath of fresh air, as close to being in Ring of Honor again as he could get but also different, new.
Claudio had still been on contract when Bryan signed and not ready to leave yet, but they both knew it was coming. When Blackpool Combat Club began they couldn’t stop talking about it together, thinking how perfect Claudio would fit; coming up with ideas and storylines and training regimes for Wheeler.
Claudio had always been an unofficial member, from the start, because he’s an extension of Bryan. And soon he’d be here for real, albeit Bryan not joining him right away on account of his injury.
As if on cue, his shoulder begins to ache more as he carries his bag through the airport, breaking him out of his thoughts.
As does his phone buzzing in his hand.
I’m at arrivals. How are you feeling sweetheart?
Bryan’s smile is instant.
He types with one hand as he walks through the terminal.
Alright. Tired. A little sore, nothing terrible.
should’ve let me come with you. We’ll have a bath before bed xo
Bryan pockets his phone, still smiling although now feeling rather anticipatory over what a bath will undoubtably entail.
He knows Claudio wanted to come along with him, but it was best not to possibly be spotted, to keep this all as much on the downlow as possible.
Still, he can’t wait. Can’t wait for Claudio to be back in the same company as him. To travel with him once more, have their schedules line up. Be in the ring with him again. He’s so close to having everything he wants.
Bryan exits the terminal and spots Claudio immediately, leaning back against the car in one of his polo shirts that cling to him in all the right places. It’s the purple one he knows that Bryan loves, and it causes a predictable jolt of arousal to his dick.
His smile is met by a matching one as Claudio spots him, jogging forward and immediately grabbing Bryan’s bag to put on his own shoulder.
“I’m fine,” Bryan huffs around a fond laugh. Claudio will never change: always the protector, the worry wart.
“I know,” he says, wrapping Bryan up in a strong, tight hug. “I missed you.”
“Missed you, too.” He sinks into the embrace instantly, never taking for granted how good this always feels.
Claudio presses a discreet kiss to his hair before pulling back and popping the trunk and placing Bryan’s bag inside it.
The car is still running and there’s music playing as Bryan slips inside and buckles up.
Bryan recognizes what’s on; Claudio must have been feeling nostalgic.
“This The Playlist?” he asks when Claudio’s behind the wheel, even though he already knows the answer.
“Mmm. I was adding new songs, and decided to start at the beginning.”
Claudio puts the car in drive and places his hand over Bryan’s for the rest of the ride, while Bryan is transported back in time.
They talk about the show (which Claudio of course watched), Forbidden Door, how the garden is doing.
As they’re nearing home, a track comes on that makes Bryan laugh.
“This one seems a little too sappy for you.”
“Says the man who likes Ed Sheeran.”
“Fuck off, he isn’t bad,” Bryan laughs some more, Claudio joining in. They pull into the driveway as Snow Patrol still plays “Anyway, I always liked this song, I just dont think I realized you did too.”
Claudio kills the engine while looking over at Bryan, a hard to read expression on his face.
“What?”
Claudio shakes his head. “For someone so smart…”
He opens the door, so Bryan gets out too.
He rounds the car, meeting Claudio near the trunk. “Hey, what am I missing here?”
“You always used to hum it, or say ‘leave this on’ when it came on the radio.” Claudio grabs his bag out of the trunk, slinging it over one shoulder and wrapping his other arm around Bryan’s, careful of his injury. “Don’t you remember?”
They head up the walkway, Bryan jogging memories of decades past. “Yeah, now that you mention it.”
“I liked it because you liked it.” Claudio unlocks the door and they head inside, flicking on lights and toeing off shoes. Bryan’s bag gets set down in the hall and they head toward the kitchen, Claudio’s arm around Bryan’s waist now.
He bends down to talk low against Bryan’s ear. “It made me think of you. Especially…”
He trails off and they come to a stop in front of the kitchen island. Bryan turns to him, sling his own arms around Claudio’s waist. “Especially when?”
“The train from Liverpool to Kent. You fell asleep on my shoulder. I added the song to my mp3 player shortly after.”
Bryan blinks up at him. He remembers that. He’d been messed up after Unified, Nigel having to go to the hospital and missing the reunion event. He’d needed Claudio then, who always made him feel comforted, safe.
Loved.
It’d been a confusing time for him, knowing he felt deeply for Nigel but also acknowledging that Claudio felt like more than a friend. His brain and his heart can’t divide that way, and so when it happened with Nigel he was all in.
Looking at Claudio now, hearing him talk about that time, feels bittersweet.
“Play it.”
“Hmm?”
“Play the song on your phone.”
Claudio raises an eyebrow but takes his phone out of his pocket and queues it up, before setting it down beside them on the island.
“Now dance with me.”
Claudio laughs loudly until he realizes Bryan is serious, already stepping in closer and winding his arms around Claudio’s neck.
“Your shoulder—” Claudio begins, but Bryan leans up to kiss him for the first time in days.
“Just dance with me, Claudio,” Bryan whispers against his mouth.
Claudio groans, pulling Bryan closer with his arms around his waist before kissing him properly. They sway to the music, kissing slow and deep in time with it. It feels dreamlike and as cheesy as the lyrics to the song, but that’s also what makes it perfect.
They break the seal of their lips after a few minutes. Bryan drops his head to rest against Claudio’s chest while he presses kisses to his hair.
“Thank you for telling me that,” Bryan says when the song begins to fade, the two of them still swaying.
Claudio strokes his cheek. “You have to know so many songs on there are for you, about you.”
Bryan assumed there might be some, but they’d never really talked about it before.
Bryan looks up at him, eyes a little shinier than before. “Looks like you’ll have to add some more soon, with this new chapter starting.”
Claudio kisses him softly. “Oh liebling, believe me. I’ve already begun.”

15 Lines of Dialogue - Theresa Trevelyan
Thanks for the tag @theluckywizard! Tagging @inquisimer, @demawrites, and @varric-tethras-editor.
Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well!
Theresa can be a tough nut to crack for people. She's very guarded at first, and is plagued by resting bitch face and a piercing stare, so comes off as aloof or cold to most. But beneath that, she's passionate, righteous, generous, and protective. She's a mage who hated the captivity of the Circles, and is determined to use her power as Inquisitor to put an end to them once and for all. To create a future where mages are free, and without fear. She will always throw herself head-first into the fray, whether it's on the battlefield or at the Orlesian Court. Her greatest fear is losing who she is to this legend being made of her.
“Storms do not discriminate, Alexius,” I answered. “You would have done well to remember that when you agreed to unleash one upon Thedas in the service of a would-be god.”
“I do not traipse, Commander.”
“Should I expect such gossip to start taking up room on our agenda with regularity? Because if so, I shall have to make accommodations to allow for the extra time.”
"I can’t recall the last time I was allowed to just… be. Maybe I never was. I don’t think I even know how."
“I don’t have the right temperament for healing.”
“I have no idea what [Solas is] capable of anymore. I was a fool to believe I ever knew him. He hides his true face too well. We have that in common.” ... “I thought I could use that to protect myself from him. I warded my corner of the Fade using memories of us. Hoping the guilt would keep him away. It was the height of hubris. Something else we share.”
"Stop trying to mythologise it. There’s no grand purpose in this. No rhyme or reason. My pain is not simply a means to an end. It happened. To me. It's not divine. In fact, it's perfectly banal. His hatred… your faith… the fanatics who idolise me… it all comes from the same place.”
“I know I don’t really have a say in how the Inquisition moves forward, but I want to make it absolutely clear now that I will not participate in anything I find objectionable. And I won’t allow you to ignore me anymore. You don’t have to listen to my opinions, but you will at least hear them.”
“Safe?” I laughed at the absurdity. “We were never safe in the Circles. You’re forgetting I was raised in one. I could tell you stories of Templars that would make your blood run cold!”
“You took everything from me!” I screamed at them. “My life! My dignity! My home! I can’t love because of you! I can’t trust because of you! I have nothing left! It’s not fair! I hate you! I hate you! I wish I could have killed the lot of you! I wish I had caused the explosion! Then at least I would have had my revenge!”
“Yes, I am quite the rebellious bookworm,” I announced with all the weight of an oath of honor. “My reach is great. Fear my power.”
“Corypheus tore open the Veil in the name of faith. Templars slaughtered mages because faith drove them to fear us rather than protect us. I am not asking you to follow me out of faith. I’m not ‘chosen’. I have chosen. Chosen to stand between the flame and the world it seeks to consume. The Inquisition will - and must - fight for all of us. With all the power granted to me, and only for as long as you see fit that I should keep it, I give my word that I will be the shield that protects those most in need of it. And I vow to place my faith in all of you, who have helped uplift me. I will never cease working to be worthy of this honor.”
“We have been many things to each other. We’ve pushed and pulled each other, reshaped each other in ways I’m still discovering. Falling in love with you was like gravity. It was never an overt decision, it simply happened. But for love to last, it can’t be an excuse. Love is… a verb. A deliberate and conscious choice. And so I choose to love you. And I will choose it, over and over, because we have shaped a beautiful home in each other. You are the home I choose, Cullen.”
“Well, in that case, welcome to the Inquisition. I hear we’re a dour lot. Perhaps you can help liven things up.”
“I haven’t yielded yet,” she fires back. “Which means I haven’t lost.”

A collection of dialogue from Rick Yancey’s The Final Descent. To be used as sentence starters. As per usual, feel free to change pronouns or whatever you see fit. Mentions / implications of death, murder, violence, alcohol.
“ It would be humorous if it weren’t so painful to watch. ”
“ I have no idea what you’re talking about. ”
“ It’s positively reckless going back in there. ”
“ I strive against the dark that others may live in the light. ”
“ Do you think your tears will bring them back? ”
“ I was a child; what choice did I have? ”
“ When was the last time you had something to eat? ”
“ Speak plainly. I haven’t the time for riddles. ”
“ The bridge of trust has been burned. ”
“ I’ve made a tactical error. ”
“ I thought you might like another cup. ”
“ What if I fail? ”
“ Don’t you have anything better to do? ”
“ This is excellent brandy, by the way. ”
“ You’ve no idea what trouble it is. ”
“ What in heaven’s name have you done? ”
“ Every second is precious now. ”
“ It is not fame I crave; it is immortality. ”
“ You are now resisting the urge to brag. ”
“ You are the most even-tempered man I have ever met. ”
“ You aren’t coming? ”
“ I can see that your heart is troubled… ”
“ The less who know about the find for now, the better. ”
“ Stop that. Don’t be childish. ”
“ I believe I am in charge of my own death. ”
“ I’ll stay here, if you don’t mind. ”
“ It isn’t my fault you don’t have a sense of humor. ”
“ You aren’t half as clever as you think you are, you know. ”
“ I should very much like to kiss you now. ”
“ I should very much like for you to kiss me again. ”
“ May I ask you something? ”
“ You are the first and only girl I’ve ever kissed. ”
“ I wonder what other intelligence he may be privy to. ”
“ Where do your fascinations lie? ”
“ Your passion carries the seeds of damnation, not deliverance. ”
“ I’m beginning to think you’re merely full of shit. ”
“ I would suggest getting some sleep if you can. ”
“ She annoys the hell out of me. ”
“ Cursing is the crutch of an unimaginative mind. ”
“ You are the last person I expected to see. ”
“ Tell me what to say, and I will say it. ”
“ I can’t help but feel that we got off on the wrong foot. ”
“ Of course I pray. I won’t bother asking if you do. ”
“ I’ve no obligation to explain myself to you or to anyone! ”
“ Do not say such things! ”
“ I’d no idea you were a killer. ”
“ You always were a terrible liar. ”
“ You may very well have just signed my death warrant. ”
“ I don’t recall requesting the pleasure of your company. ”
“ I do not think you should lecture me about arrogance or simple human decency. ”
“ You’re easier to read than you may think. ”
“ I don’t care what you want. ”
“ You’re not being honest with me. ”
“ This was an act of revenge: rash, vindictive, heartless, monstrous… ”
“ I never asked to be this. I had no choice or say in it! ”
“ I sacrificed everything for you! ”
“ I owe you nothing. ”
“ I think I’m going to be sick. ”
“ I have no home to return to. ”
“ Of course, you are always welcome to stay with me. ”
“ I am a burden, a hindrance. ”
“ I have saved you from yourself for the last time. ”
“ I shall decide if and when to end her misery. ”
“ You are my eyes in the dark places. ”
“ I haven’t killed anyone for a very long time. ”
“ I am glad to see you. I was afraid you might be… gone. ”
“ It was worth a try, wasn’t it? ”
“ You ask questions when you should be quiet and hold your tongue when you should ask! ”
“ Do you think it means anything that I’ve murdered three times before I’ve fallen in love once? ”
“ I’ve always thought, if heaven is such a wonderful place, why is entering it so absurdly easy? ”
“ So you see there is no need for anyone to keep me human, for there is nothing human in me to keep. ”
“ You know next to nothing about the matter, and I would appreciate it if you dropped it and never brought it up again. ”
“ Please don’t begin the conversation by saying you had nothing better to do or some other insulting remark that you mistake for wit. ”

Past, Present, and Future. There Consequences
*Coughs violently*
This fic is a continuation of @dotster001 ‘s fanfic which can be found here, I was given permission to make this and proof for that is the replies in that post.
Because it’s Lou’s birthday today, I decided it will be a great idea to post this now especially with the time of events this fanfic was finished.
This wasn’t 100% proof read, if there’s any mistakes then you now know why lmao
Warning: This series may contain spoilers for the princes path. I have only gotten to chapter 3, if any information is inaccurate then please understand.
Before we start I just want to clarify a few things.
N/N = New Name (not MC’s name)
L/N = Last name (MC and her rebirth don’t have the same last name.)
And with that, enjoy this series of unfortunate events.
Genre: Fluff(for now-)
——————————
I felt the last of my strength leave my body and the world go dark as my eyes finally closed. They did it. Iritium succeeded. They won.
I will never forgive Lou for his betrayal. In this life or a new one. How could he do this? Wasn’t he meant to be the neutral one? Wasn’t he meant to be the one I wouldn’t have to worry about using me like many others would have if given the chance?
I guess I was wrong.
I hope he’s happy with this outcome.
…mumbling… I hear mumbling… wait, what? Why am I hearing people talking? Am I being revived? Was my death not enough for them? Everything felt wrong. I felt myself being pulled down by an invisible force. Oh god please tell me it’s not what I think it is!
A sudden bright light filled my vision. Everything hurt and there was a strong smell I couldn’t pinpoint that overwhelmed me. Crying. Was I crying? … …No. It sounded more like loud whining. I hated these new sensations, I hated the overwhelming smell and the new feeling of a touch I couldn’t recognize. And as quickly as it started, I felt myself being put into an embrace. A comforting one.
Why was I mad again? I couldn’t quite remember… One after another of failed tries to remember, the bright light diminished as I fell asleep in the new comforting embrace.
I wonder why I was mad in the first place.
~~~~
“Miss N/N, please slow down!” My nanny, Cathryn, called out. I laughed as I ran away from her in this newfound game of chase.
My 8-year-old legs can only take me so far yet I continued to run and dodge the attempts at catching me and I hid behind a tree. I covered my mouth to hide my laughter as Cathryn called out to me. Hehe, she can’t find me!
I ran again until I found myself in a forest area. This should be harder to find, right? I went to find another hiding spot.
A shuffling in the bushes causes me to halt. Was I found already?! But Cathryn would have called my name out by now… The bush was also too small for her to fit in there! I walked to the bush and pulled away the leaves to find an injured cat. Blood stained its white fur.
“Aw no! Poor kitty…” I paused for a moment. Should I bring it back home with me? Maybe we can keep it! But it’s injured…. What can I do to make it feel better? Maybe I can kiss it better? Momma does that whenever I get hurt. Yeah! That sounds like a great idea! I slowly went up to the cat and it hissed and swung at me and I backed away. Uh-oh.
I kneel, “It’s ok, I won’t hurt you!” I let it smell my hand once it seemed to calm down and I gently pet it once I got the OK. Hehe, it’s so cute! I gave the cat a kiss near the wound and began to pick it up. “Alright, let's get you home!” I got up and looked around to try and find where I’d come from, I think I came from this way!
I started walking and I looked back down to the cat. The wound seems to have stopped bleeding, that’s good! Wait, no, the injury is gone completely! I stand there confused. Weren’t they hurt just a moment ago?
“N/N! Where are you?” My name was called out again. Maybe I can ask Cathryn about this?
“I’m here!” I ran towards where I thought I heard her voice.
“Milady! There you are!” Cathryn runs towards me, tears staining her red eyes. Weird, why did I feel strange about being called milady? She calls me that all the time. “You can’t run away like that, I was sick with worry when I couldn’t find you!”
In the end, I wasn’t allowed to keep the cat and I couldn’t find the time to tell her what happened. She wouldn’t have believed me anyways.
That was one of many weird things that happened to me.
~~~~
“Mama! Look what I found!” I ran up to my mother with a flower in hand and gave it to her. “For you!” I smile at her and she smiles back.
“Thank you, darling! You seem to have a knack for finding flowers, don’t you think?”
“She certainly does!” My father says as he picks me up. “She’s our flower so she obviously must be able to find other beautiful flowers!” I laugh as he spins me around.
“Be careful with her, Morse!” My mother warns though she’s also laughing at our antics.
“Again!”
“You sure? Alright! Whoosh!” I get spun around in the air a few times before he puts me down and ruffles my hair.
“Lady Mortisha, I have what you asked me to fetch for you!” Cathryn says.
“Oh, perfect! N/N, may you come here for a moment?” I walk up to my mom as she takes the box. “I have prepared a special gift for you, will you open it for me?”
“Okie!” She hands me the box and I open it to find a golden necklace with a red gem inside. There’s also a small pouch inside the box. “So pretty…” I say aloud.
“Try it on then check inside the pouch.” I do as I’m told and put on the necklace then check the pouch. There’s a small mirror inside. I look into it to find myself and two red eyes. What happened to my black eye? I look up at my mother in confusion.
She smiles at me. “Now your black one is hidden. There’s no need to hide it anymore!” Wait what? But why would- My dad puts his hand on my shoulder and interrupts my train of thought.
“Make sure not to take it off, alright?” He kneels to my height. “Promise me you won’t.”
“I promise!” I replied.
“Good. Thank you” He smiles at me and ruffles my hair again.
That night, I swear I heard a familiar voice. “Your very existence here will shake this word to its foundation.” Wait what? “You are but a defenseless chick here in the magical realm.” The voice is distant and barely coherent. “Listen to me: you are a rare and wonderful creature.” Who is that? I just barely caught those last words before falling asleep.
~~~~
The shops in the town aren’t things I normally see, so it was a nice surprise when my parents said we were going to town together. I saw clothing shops, bakeries, restaurants, and many more! I looked around curiously as my mom and dad both held my hand.
“Mama! Can we go to the flower shop?” I ask.
“We can go after we get what we need.” My mom said, holding my hand tighter so I can’t try and escape.
My dad laughed. “How about we go now, Morticia? It wouldn’t hurt to go for a few minutes.”
My mom sighs, “Morse, if we go then she won’t want to leave and we’ll be stuck there for hours. Let's go find the clothing shop first and get what we came here for then we can spend as much time there as she wants.”
I pout. “But I want to go nowwwww!”
“N/N. I said we’ll go after we finish. Do you want to go or not?”
“Yes, mama….” There are a few moments of silence before my dad interrupts.
“Can you two stay here for a moment? I’ll be quick about it.” My dad says.
“What’s wrong?” My mom asks.
“Just stay here for a moment, alright?” He kneels to my level and he ruffles my hair. “Behave for your mother, alright? I’ll be right back.” He gets up and walks away.
“Mama, where’s dad going?” I ask.
She sighs and holds my hand a little tighter. “I guess we’ll find out when he comes back.” We stood there for a few minutes before I saw my dad with his hand behind his back. “Oh my creator…”  I look to see a look of surprise and amusement on my mom’s face. Now I'm even more confused. What’s going on?
“N/N, close your eyes and open your hand for me for a moment, will you?” I do what he asks and I feel him put something in my hand. “You may open them now!” I opened my eyes to see a flower was given to me. My dad grins at me, “Does this satisfy your need to go to the flower shop until we finish our shopping?” I smile at him and nod and he smiles back at me. “Alright, let’s go then.” He takes my hand and we walk to the clothes shop.
“So you found her?”
“Yes, your majesty. She appears to be about the age of 9.”
“Keep an eye on her. I command you to watch her whenever you have a chance.”
“ with certainty.” The valet bows and goes back to work.
~~~~
The smell of the seawater fills my nose. I look out at the sunrise, enjoying the changing of colors. My current destination? The Royal Academy of Concordia. Tomorrow is the entrance exam.
I feel a bundle of emotions, excitement, nervousness, and fear. This is the first time I’ve been away from my parents, the freedom of them not always watching me however is freeing.
When the ship docked, I found an inn and got a room. I’ll be staying here for the next few days so I might as well get comfortable.
The day came and went and now it's the next day. students filled the exam hall and I quickly found an empty seat. The classroom was filled with talking and laughter, I liked how cheerful it was even with the exam happening any time now to decide if we actually got in or not.
“May I sit next to you?” I looked up to find an Invidian girl. I nod and she sits next to me. “I’m Arya, nice to meet you!” She smiles at me.
I smile back, “I’m N/N. It’s nice to meet you too!” We engage in pleasant conversation and before we know it, the exam starts.
A hush falls in the classroom when a man in white shows up. He looks around the classroom and introduces himself as the headmaster. His gaze lands in my direction and stays there for longer than he does with the rest of the class. I wonder what he’s looking at?
The exam finally begins.
~~~~
Dear N/N L/N,
You are hereby granted a place within the Royal Academy of Concordia.
Royal Academy of Concordia
Headmaster Lou.
~~~~
Some time has passed and new students are walking around the academy and figuring out their new room situation. I am doing the same. My room is at the end of the hallway in dorm Tradis. The room feels strangely familiar but I conclude it’s because it’s somewhat similar to my room with the star pattern to the bed. Something feels missing though…. It’s probably nothing.
I look at myself in the mirror and at the choker that is my sigillum arcanum. My necklace dangles around my neck, making it look as if I have two.
I heard a knock at my door, “Just a moment, please!” I fix myself up to make myself more presentable then open the door. “Arya! What are you doing here? How did you know where my room was?”
Arya laughed, “I actually just saw you walking around and followed you to try and surprise you! I’m glad I remembered where your dorm room was or this would have been really awkward.” She laughs.
“Do you want to come in?” I ask and I step aside. She nods and comes in.
“Wow, your room is beautiful! How come you got a pretty room?” Arya jokes.
“Does your room not look similar? These were in here when I arrived…”
“Maybe it was from a previous student who forgot to take it back? Perhaps you should ask the headmaster about it when you get the chance.” Arya said.
I sigh, “I’ll do so tomorrow after it’s hopefully less busy, I wouldn’t like to bother him with how busy he likely is.” I look around my room again. I can maybe buy something similar once it looks how it’s supposed to. “Have you looked around yet?”
“I haven’t, actually! I was hoping we can go together and familiarize ourselves with this place.”
“I like that idea. We may go now if you like.” She nods and we walk out of the room to look around our new school.
Perhaps if we look around, I can distract myself from the feeling of being watched.
~~~~
Our first class started a few days after the move-in. Arya saved me a seat near the back and I of course sat next to her.
“Is it just me or does something feel off?” I ask.
Arya looks at me confused. “What do you mean?”
“I don’t know why but I was expecting a lot of the girls to be at the front of the class…”
Arya thought for a moment before speaking again. “I think a lot of the girls used to do that when the kings were students here. Are you talking about that?” Before I could respond, however, the professor walked in. To my strange surprise, however, it became silent.
“What is going on with me…” I thought to myself.
Class started as any other would. Since this class is Introduction to Magic, we’re learning the basics.
“Correct again, Miss N/N. Very good.” The professor says. He laughs, “Have you by chance already learned this? You might as well be in more advanced classes.”
I try to laugh it off. “Thank you, but I don’t think that will be necessary.” Even I can't explain how I know this, to be honest. It’s as if I already learned this before without having the memory of it. Spell after spell, question after question, I seem to already know the solution on how to do it.
“You should help me study with how much you already know of this lesson.” Arya teases. I give her a small laugh and continue with the lesson.
Once the class ends, however…
“Miss N/N L/N, right? You seem to know so much about what we were learning in class! Can you perhaps become my tutor?”
“Miss N/N! You did amazing! Did you study this subject before?”
“Miss N/N! Can you-”
Students were asking me questions left and right and I tried my best to make excuses for them. I quickly grab the rest of my stuff and run out of the classroom in hopes of avoiding more questions.
The forest at the academy is a good place to get some quiet, I learned. Not many people will go looking for you here, especially if you go off the path. It’s only been a few classes already and I seem to already be popular…. Arya joked that at this point I might become an A rank after the first few tests.
“…I probably just studied this when I was younger.” I thought to myself. Yeah, that must be it! I walk deeper and deeper into the forest, getting farther from the main path, and mentally drawing a map so I remember where I came from.
I heard a soft rumble just over yonder of where I am. Did I just hear snoring? Is someone sleeping? I go check to see who it could be. To my horror and gratitude, a magical beast was asleep. What’s a magical beast doing here? Especially so close to the academy? I slowly back away, not wanting to wake it up. Luck, however, wasn’t on my side as the beast’s snores stopped and its eyes opened. Dragon's teeth…. I hid behind a tree but the beast seemed to have seen me already as attacks started. I curse myself while trying to dodge attacks and hide behind trees. I really wish I learned defense magic before coming here! Think, N/N, think! What spell could help you here?! “Wait, no!” In my distraction, I slipped as the magical beast attacked. I try to brace myself for impact. The attack slammed me against a tree trunk, my vision blacked out.
Cheering… Why were there people cheering? My body moves on its own and I open my eyes to see what looks like an arena.
“Do you still intend to fight?” I look up to see a man in red with black hair on a dragon. Where am I?
“You’d better believe it!” Was that me talking?
“Grooh-rooh!” Whosoever body I’m in right now climbs on the back of another dragon and they fly into the air.
“Straight up, Shifah!” The inhabitant of this body says. The man narrows his eyes and starts chasing us. Wait, is this the familiar Royal? We dive straight down before I could register what’s going on. I look back to see ‘Shifah’ slap their tail at the other dragon’s side, causing the dragon and the rider to get off balance. “Take that!” Wait, is this…?
“Steady now, Ertl!” The man says. The two right themselves and before I could blink, we collided with the ground.
“Gruh-rrr-ruh!” Shifah doesn’t look too well…
“Shifah?!” The inhabitant of this body tries to lift themself only for me to feel a pain in my, er, their wrist.
“You cannot stand, can you?” The man in red asks, next to us.
“I can and will.” I don’t think we can…
“Yield.”
“No.” The man chuckles. “Huh?” I’m just as confused. Why is he laughing? I feel myself being floated in the air.
“What the…” We land in the man’s arms right as he gets down from his dragon’s back.
“You have done well.”
Cheering is heard across the stadium. “Victory to Guy Avari!” Wait, Guy Avari?! As in the king?! My vision goes dark at this realization.
“How…-”
“concu…- she ne…-”
“N/N!-”
“Calm…- frac…- ..st.”
These voices were distant. Everything was sore and I felt like I couldn’t move. Everything went silent after a little while…
“Mmh…” I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar room. I sit up but flinch at the pain in my back and in my head. I notice I'm in an unfamiliar bed. Where am I?
“Oh my creator! N/N!” I feel someone hold my hand and I look over to see Arya. “You’re awake! How are you feeling?! Are you in any pain?!”
“I-“
“Stay here for a moment! I need to go tell the medic you’re awake!” Before I could say anything else, Arya ran out of the room to presumably find the medic. I sigh to myself as I relax into my pillow more, relieving the pain in my body slightly. What was that dream? Who was that? That memory seemed so familiar yet I couldn’t explain why. Why was His Majesty there? I heard the door open and I looked to see Arya with someone who I will assume is the medic. “I brought the medic!”
One medical examination later, I was finally able to relax again. “If I may…” I start, “Who saved me? I don’t remember seeing anyone while I was being attacked by the magical beast.”
“The headmaster saved and brought you here, miss N/N.” Said the medic.
My eyes widened. “WHAT?” How did he even know I was there?! I know he’s the headmaster and he watches over the academy but unless he was already in the forest he couldn’t have known I was there, right?! I’m grateful he saved me and all but that still doesn’t answer any questions!
“If you seek answers from him, you may ask him the next time you see him. For now, please rest so your injuries can heal, miss N/N. I’ll come and check on you again later.” And with that, the medic walked away. Arya stood there in silence for a moment before hugging me.
“I’m so glad you’re ok! You have no idea how worried I was when I saw the headmaster fly into the academy and I saw you were in his arms injured! What happened back there?!” Arya interrogated. She let go of the hug and gently held onto my shoulders as I explained to her why I was in the forest and how the magical beast attacked me. “You should have stayed on the path, it’s a path for a reason!”
“I know, I know, I’m sorry for worrying you. I won’t stray from the main path again, I promise.” I say in hopes of reassuring her.
“You better! Otherwise, I’m not letting you out of my sights!” I laugh and she laughs with me. “Do you need anything? I can get you something from your room or the refectory if you want something.”
“I’m fine for now, thank you. By the way, how long have I been unconscious?”
“Since yesterday. I’m surprised it wasn’t more considering how bad your injuries were…”
“I would have thought longer too, to be honest. I guess I’m lucky! Even with the magical beast attack, haha!” I joke. She smiles at me and looks at the time on her pocket watch and sighs after putting it away.
“I need to get to lectures soon. I’ll give you the notes to the lessons you miss so go ahead and rest. Got it?”
“Got it. Good luck!” Arya leaves the infirmary. I should thank the headmaster for saving me. Maybe once I heal I could buy him something to show my appreciation. What could I get him though…. As I get distracted, I fail to notice that I’ve fallen asleep.
Form Shapes Nature
Rating: G
Wordcount: 1,338
Prompt: A twirling-you-around hug
Characters: Dog, Adam
-
The hellhound, newly-christened as “Dog,” was not used to seeing the world from this angle. Before his Naming, he had towered over most lesser creatures, and could knock a full-sized demon to the ground with one good leap. Now, he was so low to the ground that everything else looked twice as big, and his short legs had to move twice as fast to keep pace with his new master.
If his master wished Dog to take this small size, Dog was happy to obey. They didn’t quite understand the point of it, though. Surely it would be easier to subjugate all the peoples of Earth with a massive, intimidating beast by his side? Surely his new master would want Dog to be able to knock his enemies flat and rip out their throats, instead of jumping uselessly at their knees? Did dog really need to be so small that a solid kick could send him flying?
He was obviously missing something. His master had said he wanted a dog he could have “fun” with. Dog didn’t know what this “fun” was, or how it fit into his master’s plan for world domination. Maybe that would become clear in time.
His master reached a flat road and walked alongside it. Dog padded dutifully by his side, and his master’s lackeys followed behind him, talking about something in human language. “They’ve got to let me keep him,” said Dog’s master, in response to something. He looked down at Dog with an expression Dog hadn’t seen in Hell, baring his teeth without any aggression. “Look, he’s already bonded with me. And he’s really well-behaved. Aren’t you, boy?” he crouched down to ruffle the fur on Dog’s head. “You won’t pee on the carpets or dig up mum’s flowers, will you?”
If that was what his master wished, then no, Dog certainly wouldn’t. Once he learned what “carpets” were, he’d make sure to avoid peeing on them. And he’d be careful to only dig up other people’s flowers.
One of his master’s lackeys said something. Dog’s master turned to snap back, “He can too understand. Can’t you, boy?”
Dog barked in agreement, though it came out as more of a yip, now that his voice had lost its deep, intimidating growl. Of course he understood his master. They were bonded, and he needed to be able to understand the commands he was given. But when the other humans spoke, it just sounded like noise.
“See? He’s smart,” said Dog’s master. “Don’t listen to him,” he added in an aside to Dog. “He’s just jealous ‘cause I got the best birthday present ever. No one’s gonna send you away, don’t worry.”
The very idea of anyone separating Dog from his master was absurd. As if his master would let them.
The group followed the road down to a street lined with houses, surrounded by fenced yards. Dog’s master stopped at one of these and opened the gate. “Come on, boy,” he said to Dog, holding it open. “This is home now.”
Dog’s home had always been Hell. But then, now that he’d found his master, home was wherever his master happened to be. Dog yipped and trotted through the gate into a green, fenced-in space. The lackeys followed.
The door of the house opened and another human came out. A human much larger than Dog’s master. Dog stood at attention. Was this an enemy? A threat?
She made the same face Dog’s master had made earlier, showing teeth without aggression, and spoke to the four of them. Then her gaze landed on Dog, and she hid her teeth again. She spoke, and an uneasy tension came over the group. Ah, Dog understood. This was the human they thought might try to separate him from his master. Well, his master would soon put her in her place.
“This is Dog,” said Dog’s master, crouching down beside him to ruffle his fur. “I found him in the woods, and he followed me home. Can I keep him? Please? He doesn’t have a collar, and he’s really well-behaved.”
Dog tilted his head, confused. His master was…asking for permission? To keep what was already rightfully his? Was this also part of his plan to lay waste to the world, or did he have a different plan that Dog didn’t know about?
The big human looked uncertain. They looked thoughtful for a moment, then said something and went back inside. When the door closed behind her, the lackeys started talking in hushed voices.
“She didn’t say no,” said Dog’s master. “And if she didn’t, my dad definitely won’t.”
The lackeys didn’t seem to agree. Dog barked to silence them. Before his Naming, his bark had been like a thunderclap, sharp and deafening. Now, nobody paid him any mind. He tried barking more, in case that would help, but his master turned to him and said, “Quiet.” Dog let out an embarrassed whine and obeyed.
The big human re-emerged from the house a moment later with an even bigger human. This bigger human squatted down in front of Dog and offered a hand for him to sniff. He didn’t smell unfriendly. There were traces of something sweet on his fingers, which Dog licked off.
“His name’s Dog,” said his master. Dog looked up at him. “See, he already knows his name! Look at how friendly he is, he won’t be any trouble. And it is my birthday.”
The big human who was still standing by the door let out a sigh. The bigger human straightened up and turned to her. They talked in low voices for a moment. The big human shrugged, and the bigger human motioned to Adam, and then the big human nodded.
Dog’s master straightened, his face lighting up. “So I can keep him?”
The big human adopted a stern expression and said something else to Dog’s master. Then he nodded as well.
“Yesss!” Dog’s master ran forward and threw his arms around both big humans. They hugged him back. “Thank you, thank you! I promise he’ll be the best dog ever!”
Dog’s master’s excitement was so infectious that Dog could no longer stand still. He yipped and started running around the little yard, circling his master and the two big humans and jumping at their knees. He was too small to knock them over even a little bit, but that was for the best. His master seemed to care an awful lot about their opinions, so Dog would make sure to never hurt them.
“You hear that, boy?” Dog’s master let go of the other two humans and knelt down to his level. “I get to keep you, and you’ll be my dog, and we’ll go on the best adventures!”
With another yip, Dog jumped up at his master’s chest. To his surprise, his master caught him and lifted him high up in the air. That was a new experience. Dog had never been small enough to be lifted up like this. If it was anyone else, it would have been terrifying. Dog would have thrashed to get away before he could be hurt, even if it meant falling the now-considerable distance to the ground.
But it wasn’t just anyone, it was his master, which meant Dog was safe. The arms around him were there to support him, not hurt him. He stretched up to lick at his master’s face, and his master laughed and spun around until Dog felt dizzy. Dog buried his nose in his master’s chest. His tail flipped happily back and forth, and now that it was short and fuzzy, it couldn’t raise burning welts in his master’s skin. Which was lucky, because Dog couldn’t have made it stop moving if he wanted to.
So this was why his master had wanted a little dog. This was “fun.” Dog understood now. They didn’t have anything like this in Hell, so his master must be very wise to know about it. This was much, much more important than world domination.
Note
So I was listening to Midnights from Taylor Swift and couldn’t stop realizing that it fits perfectly to fmo/djats au. Like the three main characters have songs that fits them so well, specially reader (I call her mother ‘cause she is always mothering). Also the album have the vibes of djats.
~Lavender haze - Reader and Alys at the same time ~Vigilante sh* - Alys (but also reader in the universe where she in her villain era and has her lick back) ~You’re on your own kid - Reader in her boss queen era 👑 ~Midnight Rain, Quiestion?, Bejeweled, Karma ~ Reader specially during and after the divorce ~Snow on the beach - Aemond & Alys while in the honeymoon phase of the relationship ~Maroon & Sweet nothin - Aemond and Reader (could picture Aemond dedicating songs like these to reader when his grovelling for forgiveness and wanting her back) Also I feel like at some point in her teenager time Daella would write a song about all this mess, specially after knowing of the cheating; like I imagine her singing emails I can’t send (from Sabrina Carpenter) to her dad.
As much as I love this mess of a family it really is missing baby Alaric, like as if all of the situation was not messy enough… boom! Here comes a new baby. I can’t imagine how the media and the general public would react to reader in her best moment as a professional showing all of the sudden with a baby bump (from their Friday night because yes just pulling out is not a great pregnancy prevention method) and then it’s revealed that Aemond it’s once again the baby daddy; or in the universe where she gets her lick back and it backfires on her with a surprise baby .
Aemond would use the new baby as his excuse to be all the time around reader; like he would sneakily star moving back to her house with the excuse of the newborn 👶 or as a drama queen bought them a brand new house.
This would be Aemond in the djats universe after sleeping again with reader (specially if he got her pregnant…again):
Tumblr media
Sorry for the long text I just love your writing so much ❤️
No problem, I love detailed asks. I feel like Taylor is the artist I get the most when people talk about fmo. Ngl I don’t interact with her music much but if people think of my work while interacting with other media, I think I’m doing something right. Also yes to emails I can’t send.
This compelled me to do a little something about pregnant (with alaric) reader. Though it’s messy, I like of like the idea bc Aemond is present. Very different from what we get in original recipe fmo when she’s pregnant with alaric. Also slight mention of quinton bc some of y’all have asked about their relationship post divorce.
This works a bit more in the context of the Friday night hookup (post divorce, and therapy) but I think it could work for both scenarios
What to Expect….
You woke up in the middle of the night to back pain, and an empty bed.
When you go into the kitchen, you find Aemond sitting at the table with a glass of water in front of him. The single sink light illumating him from the back.
“Couldn’t sleep either,” his voice is soft, and the smile on his face is tired.
You nod softly. “Your son won’t stop moving around.”
His smile grows at the mention of son. It matches the excitement that flashed over his face when the two of you found out you would be having a boy.
Despite being a mom for years now, you find yourself more scared for this pregnancy than you were with Daella. You are in the same place - with Aemond, in the apartment, worried for the future. But everything feels slight off kilter.
Aemond moved back in a week ago. He was happy, Daella was thrilled, but it all happened so suddenly. You always wanted another child, and now you have him. It should be a positive occasion but you can’t help but be scared.
Scared you will end up be hurt again. This time with two kids to worry about. You felt like you have moved forward just find yourself facing the same fears.
“Aegon told me that he gives us permission to use his name.”
You laugh. “That is very kind of him.”
Though Aegon is a Targaryen family name, you have no interest in naming your son it. You bit your lip. Aemond seems in a good mood; if there is any time to bring it up, it is now.
“I think I have a good contender for a name.” Aemond gives you a curious look. “Alaric.”
He nods softly, thinking. “Alaric,” he repeats. “I like it. Any special meaning behind it?”
You pause for a second.
“Ummm actually Quinton told a story about his first music teacher. The one who got him playing the drums. His name was Alaric. I don’t know; the name sort of stuck with me since.”
It felt disengenuous and hypocritical to have another child with Aemond, mends things with Helaena and Aegon, but not try to do the same with Quinton. You wait for Aemond to make a snide remark about Quinton. But all he does is stare at you before reaching over and grabbing your hand.
“We will put it on the list,” he squeezes your hand softly.
He means the list of baby names you two had narrowed down. You two share shy smiles.
You don’t know if things will be different this time with Aemond, but you have fallen once before. What is one more time?
