Comic Log
Writing all the comics I'm reading here as I deleted the Notes app :P
-The Amazing Spiderman (reading to understand Spidey's story but not very enjoyable)
-Spiderman/Deadpool (love this comic sm!! Reading too quickly need to read sum else before I finish it XD)
-Love Unlimited: Deadpool loves the Marvel universe (just #40 as I heard there was Spideypool in it)
-Ultimate Comics Spiderman (only just started but I LOVE Miles so I'm pretty certain I'm gonna love this comic)
-Spider-Gwen (love her in Spiderverse [movies] so wanted to learn more about her)
-Spider-verse (Gwen's comic takes place after and I do love the movie so I started reading this one too)

edit. i want it on the actual post that i am not actually making a de-th threat against the staff. that's shitty. the caption quotes the fucking costco hot dog meme, which i originally said in the tags. if any staff member sees this please do Not take it personally

New blog
Since I’ve formed a new special interest (being comics [in particular Marvel comics]) I’ve descosed to start a new blog dedicated to posting MCU/Marvel comics/related things.
My main acc is a cross between many things but is mainly used as a Hermitcraft fan acc (another special interest) and as I don’t want my comic reblogs to be hidden by floods of other fandom stuff I’m moving it.
The blog is called: @/sp1dey-riel
Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!!

Jason Todd’s death storyline was perfectly executed because they killed him figuratively (killed his innocence) before actually killing him. It’s a tragedy because he died in two separate ways. And the reason his resurrection is just as much a tragedy is because only one of the things killed can be brought back and it wasn’t the thing that made Jason who he is (his innocence and kindness).

my personal hc for why Felix is Like That
Image id by @anistarrose below the cut! Thank you!
[Image description: a digitally drawn, gray-shaded comic of Eugene Finch and Anna Log from Drawtectives. The first panel shows them conversing by phone, and Anna begins: "Hi, I'm done with the animatronic you commissioned."
Smiling brightly, Eugene replies: "Alright! Thank you so much! Seriously, I can't thank you enough. I know it's pretty weird to ask for an animatronic vessel for the spirit of a dead cat."
The next panel cuts to Anna alone, where in the background, a humanoid animatronic with a mustache is sitting limply on a bench. Anna's eyes become tiny dots, indicating shock, and she echoes: "C-cat?"
The last panel shows Anna and Eugene together in person, together with Felix, who is an animatronic with a cartoonish cat head and otherwise very humanoid body. Anna gestures to Felix, smiling sheepishly and saying:
"So you see, I gave him an anthropomorphic body to, uh, maximize helpfulness. Because of, y'know, the opposable thumbs and stuff." A small arrow labels Anna as "completely BSing."
Eugene replies: "Oh yeah, that makes sense." A small arrow labels him as "Not very bright," followed by a heart. End description.]
