I am being extremely self-indulgent again and just writing blurbs and information of fanfics I have written/started but haven’t posted for various reasons. They’re all Superman and Lois. All are not posted on Archiveofourown yet.
Once Upon a Time It was Canon-Compliant (Season one finished but pre-season two airing)
Title: In the Eyes
Genre: Mystery and hurt/comfort (there will be comfort...eventually).
Character: Jordan (POV), Jon (POV), Clark and Lois.
About: Jordan is struggling with the aftermath of being taken. He notices something odd about when Zeta-Rho tried to get to Jon. Jon is trying to act like it ever happened while stockpiling weapons.
Time Set: Post season one, AU from season one finale (Season two never happened).
Status: Fifty percent completed
Reason/s why: I wanted to try my hand at a mystery. I mostly regret it but not enough to stop writing.

Title: Threat
Genre: Mystery/family drama
About/Summary (WIP): Lois notices a strange pattern in the blackouts that have been occurring throughout the world. She doesn’t know what it is but, just like with Edge, she knows there’s something deeper occurring. With Lois focusing on the power outages and Clark focusing on Jordan’s increasing powers, will they notice Jon’s struggling has more to it than moving? Part three of my Assembly Series.
Status: Incomplete
Reason/s Why: I just wanted to write it. I do plan on posting this on AO3 once it’s completed so that’s all the reasons why you will get for now.

Genre: Can I say five plus one? Family? Slice of life? 🤷♀️

About: Five times people automatically assumed their last names was just Kent. Plus one time someone didn’t.

Status: Two out of five done and the plus one.
Reason/s Why: I like to think that legally, the twins names (except for middle names) are Jordan Lane-Kent and Jonathan Lane-Kent. And that Lois is fine with people assuming it’s just Jordan and Jonathan Kent since it’s the only family name Clark can pass on without putting them in danger. But in all their documents it’s “Jordan Lane-Kent” and Jonathan Lane-Kent”.

Genre: Hurt/Comfort is the best I can figure out.
About: After Ally is dealt with, Clark and Lois have Jon see a therapist and the family discovers. Meanwhile they are contacted by a lawyer in regards to the same doctor that diagnosed and prescribed Jordan.
Reason/s Why: Jon needs therapy, Clois need to be better parents to Jon and I decided to give myself a canon-compliant reason why Jordan was put on (what looks like) benzos AS A CHILD while the show decided to drop his damn anxiety.
And I will die on my “Jon-is-autistic-actually” hill and remain there in my afterlife. No one is getting me off this hill. No one.

Title: Warnings
About: Clark didn’t see the warnings of the Bizarro universe for what they were. Lois didn’t see the red flags of Smallville for what they were. This time, two future visitors may force Lois and Clark to understand.
Genre: Angst and time-travel, fix-it sort of but not really,

Reason/s Why: I just don’t like season two. This is one of my ways of dealing with it.

About: Olowe’s (Jon’s boss) POV through the X-K scandal and why he was fine with employing Jon despite appearing to not really know the Lane-Kents.

Status: Ninety percent complete.
Reason/s why: Olowe had one line and one scene but it was positive towards Jon. And since season two just crapped on Jon, this fic happened.

Title (WIP): Waves of Love
Genre: Romance
LGBT Character/s: Jon (bisexual)
About: Jon is struggling to date as a bisexual man. After leaving a supposedly LGBT club where biphobia is rampant, he accidently bumps into Ivy Holliday who takes one look at Jon and offers to listen.
Time Set: Future fic
Status: Fifty percent complete.
Note: Favourite line so far is:
“You would be doing me a favour,” Ivy shrugged, “My day has not gone well...at all,”
Reason/s Why: I’ve seen way too many people say that writing a bisexual person in an opposite-gender relationship is writing a straight romance. Bisexual people are still bisexual whether they’re in a relationship or single. Also yes, I am absolutely recycling one of my Heartstopper bisexual OCs.
...And I still have baggage about the fact that the only LGBT places I’ve been able to trust are those ran by bisexual people and transgender people. Also other related-baggage. This is a therapy fic for me tbh.

Title (WIP): You’re the Light of My Life
Genre: Romance, 5+1,
LGBT Character/s: Jon (bisexual)
Summary: Five times Jon and Lorraine had to hear biphobic statements from others while on their dates. Plus one time they didn’t.
Time Set: Future Fic
Status: Nearly completed. I’ve got four and the plus one done, just need to finish the five.
Reason/s Why: See reasons for “Waves of Love”. Except Lorraine is a straight OC instead of bisexual. And not a Heartstopper OC. Again, this is a therapy fic for me.

About: Transitioning journey. Largely focused on the positives.
Time Set: Post-season one, future-fic. Written before season two even aired.
Status: First version completed. For AO3 - Incomplete.
Reason/s Why: For a friend who wanted a specific representation. She then thought it should be posted on AO3 but since it’s extremely personal for her, I’m trying to edit the parts she doesn’t want up on AO3 out while still having a complete story.

Status: Draft completed. In the editing stage. This fanfic is going through my Original Work process because of the genres.
Reason/s Why: I just really wanted to write a time-travel horror/mystery fanfic. I wanted to get out of my writing comfort zones since neither of those genres are usually what I write. And Jon is my favourite character so this thing happened.

About/Summary (WIP): Ten years in the future, Jordan’s health deteriorates. It turns out the reason behind his powers developing so rapidly was something sinister.

About: Clark and Lois plan a family camping trip to a nearby forest. Jon’s wariness is brushed off.
Genre: Horror, Tragedy.
Status: Complete - I really just haven’t posted it. Also I have no summary that really fits the genre.
Reason/s Why: I was post-op and still under the affects of anesthesia. So I’m going to blame the anesthetic here - also I can barely remember writing this.
Okay, I am going to stop now. These are just ones I have to stop myself from talking about or posting since I’m going to try and finish writing before posting now. We’ll see how long it will last.

What if the Dark Knight Trilogy, Green Lantern and Arrow were all part of the DC Extended Universe?
In 2013, Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel was released. The Superman reboot, starring Henry Cavill, would go on to be the starting point of the DC Extended Universe, the largest movie franchise based off DC characters.
However, in the previous two years, three peculiar properties based off DC characters were released:
Green Lantern (2011), starring Ryan Reynolds, who was supposed to be the actual start of the DCEU. However, its poor critical recession and box office failure meant that all plans were scrapped (even though Zack Snyder did consider bringing Reynolds back as a future Justice League member, so, maybe, they would have retroactively decided to make this movie canon again);
The Dark Knight Rises (2012), which was the grand finale of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, which included Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Those movies were a critical and commercial success, to the point where Nolan was given complete freedom, and it was him who made sure that his version of Batman would be separated from the shared universe that started with Man of Steel;
Arrow (2012-2020), a TV show that was, initially, intended to stand on its own, until it became so successful that it spawned a huge franchise, the Arrowverse, which links many other DC properties through its multiverse, including the DCEU;
For a while, fans had started speculating if one of these properties was going to be part of the same universe as Snyder’s Superman reboot. The answer, obviously, was no (unless you count the Arrowverse and the DCEU being part of a shared multiverse).
However, what would have happened if all three were included in this shared universe?
Well, first of all, its age would have grown, since Batman Begins would have become its true starting point. That could have been a good choice if they wanted to avoid making it seem like they were just playing catch-up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, they could have just replied that their universe started three years before Iron Man (2008) took off.
Obviously, the tones would have been an issue. How do you merge a dark and realistic Batman trilogy, a campy and colourful Green Lantern movie, an almost serious Green Arrow show (which, during its first season, didn’t even feature superpowers) and a gritty, yet epic and hopeful Superman movie?
Well, first of all, it should not be a huge issue. After all, superhero comics do this all the time: the most serious stories can still share the same universe as the wackiest adventures.
However, in order for this to have happened, something should have changed. The right time for this change was 2011, when Green Lantern was about to be released, there were first talks about a Green Arrow spin-off and The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel were still in production. These are all the things that could have been made, in my humble opinion:
One of the Easter Eggs that Green Lantern was supposed to feature was a reference to “Clark Kent” as one of the potential bearers of the Green Lantern ring. They scrapped it, but I can imagine them being told to keep it, as a way to remind the audiences that a Clark Kent exists in the universe of that film;
Man of Steel was pushed to 2013 in order to avoid having to compete with The Dark Knight Rises. Perhaps, both could have been released in the same year. After all, two DC movies in the same year was unheard of back then;
Green Lantern’s post credit scene could have featured something broader, while keeping Sinestro wearing a Yellow Ring for the end of the movie. Maybe, Amanda Waller could be hurriedly called, as some strange signals starts disrupting communications. That signal would be the “You Are Not Alone” message that General Zod would send during Man of Steel;
Even though Nolan would be given full control of The Dark Knight Rises, they could negotiate that, after said movie, his Batman would start appearing elsewhere;
Said movie could feature a mention of Hal Jordan, or even just to Ferris;
As the Green Arrow show is greenlit, the producers are told to include references to Green Lantern, Batman and Superman;
With those simple tweaks, those three movies, alongside that TV show, already made some small, ambiguous connections that, perhaps, something links them together.
And then, the Batman v. Superman announcement would take place! It would be the same, but the main change would be that the Batman facing Cavill’s Superman would be the same one played by Christian Bale in the Nolan trilogy.
However, other than that, we get two more surprise moments:
A short scene, made specifically for Comic-Con, which shows someone hovering as he looks at a destroyed Metropolis, after the events of Man of Steel. Then, as the camera focus on him, we see that it’s Ryan Reynolds’ Hal Jordan, revealing that Green Lantern is also part of this universe;
Arrow’s trailer for season two makes some references to how crazy the World has become, since super people and aliens have revealed themselves. This is their way of announcing that Arrow is part of this universe too;
The inclusion of Arrow could also be seen as a way to beat the MCU to the punch. After all, Marvel had teased fans with TV spin-offs of their movie universe for years, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was finally going to release, so DC could have said “well, we already have a TV show set in the same universe as our movies”.
Now, what would have happened afterwards?
Well, I do believe that one thing which would have been kept from real life 2013 would be that Arrow sees the debut appearance of Barry Allen. He would appear because, well, having another Justice League key member appearing could tie this universe in a better way, especially when it comes to hyping up what’s going to happen.
Of course, how would Barry be presented? After all, if they follow the same route as they did in real life, this means that meta-humans would have only started showing up after Man of Steel’s alien invasion occurred.
Also, Arrow’s second season dealt with the League of Assassins. Since the Dark Knight Trilogy is now in the same universe, then it means that this is the same as the League of Shadows. Ra’s al Ghul and his daughter Talia appeared in Nolan movies, so Nyssa being used here makes perfect sense. Perhaps, she has founded another organisation, which can explain why they’re suddenly named League of Assassins.
In 2014, The Flash, Constantine and Gotham were announced (technically, iZombie as well, but that show was never even acknowledged by the Arrowverse, so we’ll treat it as its own). While the first two would be fine, Gotham would have to be retooled into a prequel to Nolan’s movies, so certain events must have happened accordingly. Of course, this could have been a nice way of seeing what would a Nolan version of the Riddler or the Penguin look like.
In late 2014, DC movies were announced. Nothing particular would have needed to be changed for most of them. However, Suicide Squad would have needed to make sure that their version of Amanda Waller is the same one as Green Lantern, while also including the members featured in Arrow, even just a couple of them, for continuity sake.
Titans was already announced back in 2014, although it would have been quite difficult to make a show where Dick Grayson wants to live a life away from Batman, when he was not even shown in any movie or show. Perhaps, Joseph Gordon Levitt could have served as that universe’s Nightwing, as a younger Dick Grayson is introduced as Robin.
Then, Supergirl. She would have been completely different. Perhaps, during the alien invasion in Man of Steel, she, who was already in the Phantom Zone, ended up on Earth, and, after having found Clark, the two cousins could be reunited. As such, even if she is still played by Melissa Benoist, she would not have been the same Kara who had lived for years and years on Earth, but still someone who is learning how to adapt there. Perhaps, Legends of Tomorrow could have happened as well. If anything, they could have been seen as a prototype Justice League, since they would feature characters such as Hawkgirl, Atom and Firestorm after all. Maybe, characters from the movie could have made cameo appearances, since the first season was originally intended as a limited event show.
As Batman v. Superman comes out, there needs to be something that ties together as much as possible:
Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl would have had to create special episodes to tie with the events of the movie. Perhaps, Star Labs would talk about what is happening around Metropolis and Gotham, while Supergirl would see Kara being worried about her cousin;
More references to the heroes in the show would appear in the movie, perhaps as some of the files created by Lex Luthor;
After those events, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman go as well as they could, when it is time for Justice League to come out.
It was released in late 2017, so the Arrowverse could have expanded on it with a proper crossover event. Maybe, all the key heroes that could have joined the League are seen dealing with Parademons and trying to stop whatever is going on.
Maybe, Green Lantern would have made a return in Justice League, as well as the inclusion of Martian Manhunter somewhere (if they wanted to keep revealing that General Swanwick from Man of Steel was, in fact, J’onn J’onnz, perhaps his reveal in Supergirl could have happened with Harry Lennix reprising his role).
Perhaps, other pieces could have been gathered along the way. Jonah Hex (2010) could be referenced when Legends of Tomorrow introduces their character, implying that Josh Brolin’s movie is actually canon. Then, an Arrowverse show could introduce the Human Target, but he would be played by Mark Valley, reprising his role from his short TV show. Lucifer could have perhaps be left there in his own bubble, since the DC Universe was now crazy enough that the idea that Lucifer, bored of Hell, would be living in California wouldn’t even seem that absurd.
Nothing particular would have changed, but, now, by 2017, there have been the following instalments:
Batman Begins (2005)
The Dark Knight (2008)
Jonah Hex (2010)
Human Target (2010-2011)
Green Lantern (2011)
The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
Arrow (2012-2020)
Man of Steel (2013)
The Flash (2014)

Supergirl (2015-2021)
Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022)
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

And all these movies and shows would be seen as a “Phase 1”-like franchise where the universe as a whole effectively comes together after 12 years of movies and shows. After all, it happened already in the comics: Batman and Superman shared a “World’s Finest” comic together for about a decade before the writers decided to actually have them meet.
Of course, this is just pure speculation, a fun creative exercise. We don’t know what would have happened after Justice League in this universe.

Captain Marvel has many secrets, the League is aware of this. A face from his past turns up, threatening to kill the League and accusing them of things they can't understand or remember ever doing.
Or the one where Captain Marvel has lived through dozens of universes, thousands of lives, some of which had the Justice League being his friends, family, and in some, even the protagonist of his nightmares. He gets stuck in these memories, and as the League goes into his head in hopes of finding him, they instead get to see many things that will change their view of him completely.

With the new normal at Warner Bros. comes to the new DC Studios movie universe having a shake-up.
Hey, and welcome back to my blog. I know it’s been more than a minute, but thanks for sticking with me.
With the new bosses come changes, like, for instance, the new branch of DC Film now going by DC studios (hmm…can I get some Marvel along with that baloney sandwich?). So if you didn’t know, the new heads are James Gunn, the guy responsible for the Guardians of the Galaxy films, and Peter Safran (yeah, I never heard of this guy until it was announced.), but I guess he had a part in making the Shazam movies.
Also, if you didn’t know well, the authorities of DC studios put up a video on YouTube a while back and mentioned how there would be a fresh new take with the new direction at DC comics. One of those changes. That’s right, instead of DC Studios, we’ll talk about that in a second; using the word “Phases,” they will be using the term “Chapters” for the forthcoming stories (it’s not only movies) for the new venture. I suppose that’s okay, but what is this a Marvel property? So yeah, that is what I hear is happening.
Not going to lie; I’m a little annoyed in this new direction. I love the characters of Henry Cavell and Ben Affleck’s interpretation of Superman and Batman, and I thought the duo had a remarkable dynamic similar to that of Steve Roger, aka Captain America, and Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, over at Marvel. Either way, I thought Zack Snyder did a great casting the world’s finest in their respective roles.
However, as I say this, let me ask you something. Did you like Cavill’s portrayal of Clark Kent? Someone had brought that up to me, as he wasn’t his awkward and nerdy self who was always trying to get a date with Lois Lane as the man, not Superman. Maybe it isn’t realistic when you are an adult in this day of age, but I don’t know.
Now, do not get me wrong. If the powers that be decides to have Cavell and Affleck back, I will be excited to have them back. Wishful thinking, I know, but at this point, they should move on, as I hate to see them being pulled back if nothing is going to happen. I’m a bit bothered, not Gunn or Safran, how Warner Bros. is jerking the duo around and getting fans’ hopes up, which I know was mainly due to the guy that starred in Black Adam (the best thing about that film was the Justice Society of America and the fight they had with Black Adam), but still, if they weren’t going to bring him back, then don’t have him appear in the movie.
Well, let’s see what this new Superman (yeah, that’s happening in the updated reboot, and no, they haven’t announced who will portray the new man of steel yet) has for us. Also disclosed is another The Batman 2 film, the one with the Twilight male hero, and I guess it is an Elsewards story, and outside this new rebooted universe. Another series slated to come will be Waller, who will be portrayed by, yup, you guessed it, Viola Davis, who starred in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad film and, most recently, Peacemaker, who was on HBO Max (what’s going on there?). Not only that, but Gunn also announced the Authority project (I would rather see a Wild CAT story, but who knows, maybe they will have a cameo). Also disclosed to us are a live-action TV series called Lanterns that will star the characters of Hal Jordan (finger cross, they get his portrayal of the character right, this time around) and John Stewart (who had a great run in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series. We will also be getting Paradise Lost set in the Wonder Woman mythos, which takes place before she was born. What’s a DC story without completing the trinity without Batman, who is a different Batman but is based on the same earth as Superman, Lanterns, Paradise Lost, and Creature Commandos? But here is the catch. The new film is called Brave and the Bold (I would find it weird if they did not put the Batman name in the film’s title). Also heading to film and tv will be a new Supergirl film and Booster Gold TV show. Well, what do you say? Enough to whet your appetite?
It certainly has my attention, and I will undoubtedly see it because I still like my superheroes fighting crime or whatever they plan to give us.
I am most annoyed with the many changes the DCEU (I still think it’s a better name than the DCU) has gone. But for real, I’m sure James Gunn and Peter Safran will do a fantastic job rebuilding the DC properties (fingers cross). Nevertheless, no matter how much they give us (whether it works or not), it will never be the same from where it started with the Man of Steel film. Like it won’t connect if that makes any sense. Also, I have to get used to not having Ben Affleck portray the dark knight, but he did a great job. Not saying he is the best Batman, only that he did the job well. As for Jason Momoa, I don’t know whether he will continue to play Aquaman (I enjoyed the Zack Snyder Justice League and the Aquaman film where he portrayed the King of Atlantis) or if he will play Lobo (I guess that’s the rumor going around). I prefer he stuck at it as the heir to the throne of Atlantis. As for Ray Fisher, who portrayed Cyborg (I still think the Doom Patrol interpretation of the character should have been in the HBO Max Titans show. It’s not a truly Titans tv show without Tech Titan. But that’s a whole different avenue) in the Justice film, well, I think he did a fine job. I would be happy if he ever returns to the DC property. However, I wonder if he will get a recast. Should the character come back to this new DCU era? Have any thoughts on that?
Well, this was fun. Almost like writing an angry letter to a boss and then immediately deleting it, except I am posting it for the world to see.

Teenager who was Crowned Dragons Den Investment was Arrested for Suspicion Of Burglary
A teen entrepreneur who snagged a PS80,000 investment on Dragon's Den has been arrested on suspicion of stealing his mother's house.
Jordan Daykin, 19 years old, was the youngest person to establish a business with the Dragons after Deborah Meaden offered the money in exchange for a 25% stake in his company.
Two months later, he was arrested by his mother after he allegedly attacked her home and snatched a number valuables including Swarovski crystals and four televisions. He also stole jewellery worth PS4,000.
Claims: Jordan Daykin (pictured right on Dragons' Den earlier in the year) is said to have took money from the Westbury, Kent home of his mother Maria Daykin. He was later arrested and released on bail.
Permission: Jordan's spokesperson said that he was admitted to the home because his mother had recently experienced an 'unexpected disruption at her home'. Above, Ms Daykin claimed that one of the rooms was burgled
A spokesman for Jordan claimed that he had permission from his mother to enter the house and that he was helping his brother get out of the house after a row. He claimed that the items they took belonged to only them.
Maria Daykin, mother-of-two, 45, stated that she was "disgusted" by her son’s alleged actions. They could be an element of a family feud.
She said: 'I had to call the police because it's an invasion of my privacy. My house was completely destroyed including the TV and furniture. I came home to find it totally destroyed.

Ms Daykin claims Jordan as well as three other people as well as Ms Daykin are the ones responsible for the raid that she claimed was planned. Above the statement: Ms Daykin claimed that Jordan and three others had planned the raid for the time she was away from the house.
"Violation: Ms. Daykin claimed that she returned home to find her home in ruins. She also claimed that items like four televisions, two beds, and jewelry worth PS4,000 were taken.
Ms Daykin, from Westbury, Wiltshire, said the incident took place on the 9th of October. She said her son was quickly detained later that night by Wiltshire Police.
She claims Jordan and three other people planned the raid for her even though she was not present.
He was detained overnight and was released on bail after extensive investigation.

The teenager's spokesman said Jordan was simply helping his brother leave the house after a dispute.

Last week Jordan was short-listed as Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the GB Entrepreneur Awards.
After she expressed an interest in Grip It Fixings' universal fixing that is suitable for all types of plasterboard, Dragon Deborah Meaden gave him PS80,000 in August.
Jordan will benefit from the investment, which will cover new machinery, stock increases and a deposit for their warehouse at Melksham in Somerset.
Jordan quit school at the age of 13 and his first venture was an online site known as RS2Services which was motivated by his love for RuneScape, an online fantasy role-playing game.
The site offered players the top RuneScape products at a lower cost.
Then, he created Tutor Magnet, a nationwide tutoring agency. It currently employs more than 400 tutors and generates more than PS2,000 per month.
Jordan came up with the idea for Grip It Fixings while putting up curtain rails with his grandfather, who was 74 years old Stan.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: 'We are able to confirm that a male of 19 was arrested on the 9th of October at around 7pm, on suspicion of burglary. He was taken to Melksham Police Station.
"He has been released without further inquiry."

my own thoughts:
i didnt think it would happen to me. cancer is something that happens to other people. to my patients that i would encounter. to other people's parents. in kdramas and greys anatomy. cancer was just another disease to learn about in lecture and memorize sxs and
i have always been a mind over matter person. i could push through any discomfort. pain was temporary. grit was admirable. pushing forward when it got tough was something to strive for. to quit is to be weak minded and that was not an option for me. i worked hard and kept working hard until i succeeded. i would not feel proud of myself if i fell short. my ego would shatter if i gave up.
my body couldn't keep up with my mentality.
and even after treatment it still cant.
im tired. i sleep in all the time. i can socialize but im so tired afterward. i cant run a mile at the same pace or distance as before. i ran a half marathon just 4 months before my diagnosis. i was so healthy. i still cant believe this is happening to me.
"the pain of cancer lasts forever" said the moderator. i literally fucking hope not. i would be so pissed if that's true. that will not be me.
what is harder? concurrent high dose IV hospitalized chemo and radiation for 5mo or oral chemo for 3 years.
disservice to myself to tough it out. to think that i am tougher than everyone else. i am not. don't be so vain.
i did not get to choose my path. cancer chose for me. emotionally coasting thru treatment. detached from my life. living my best life > no solid ground to stand on. how to proceed? finishing treatment was the most challenging day. fear. anxiety. unpredictable. who am i now. trying to feel excited. performative for the fam and clinical team who was more excited than i was.

If they keep the Cushings around they need to give them a storyline that's not annoying as hell (like the cheating by both Kyle and Sarah, and Sarah being a bitch to Jordan after cheating on him and expecting him to be friends with the girl she cheated on him with), and they need to incorporate them into the main plot more because their side plots just seem like they're on a completely different show.// I agree with this, it's like they have their own show and their plots are not strong enough on their own nor do people care about them. It should be more about the Kents but with proper development. One thing that has been bothering me is how Clark and Lois parent the boys. It gets so tiring watching Lois explode and send them to their room and say nasty things, then she calms down and talks to them, then Clark is the one upset when he gets around to it. Then he's the bad guy bc Lois is already calmed down. It just doesn't feel good to me. I much prefer how Irons and Natalie handle their family issues. But I guess it's changing, hopefully? Also hope the writers come up with another formula next season, it's getting predictable how Lois' human villain turns out to be superhero villain and then we lose Lois' plot entirely. Or how the villain seems to be one thing and then turns out to be another. I don't know, two seasons of it already feels played out. I'm still gonna watch and generally enjoy it 😅

After Superman took over the Earth alongside his mysterious brother, you fled to a new one. Your father, Cisco Ramon temporarily opened a breach to Earth-Prime, allowing you to escape. You fled to Smallville, a place your father told you so much about.
It was easy to fake your identity, seeing as the Cisco Ramon of this world never married your witch mother, whom was dead for the past decade. You went by the alias ‘(Y/N) Saunders’ after Kendra Saunders who trained you to be like your father, a hero.
When you arrived at Earth-Prime, your soulmate mark appeared. It was the house of El crest on your wrist with the words ‘El Mayarah’.
So you’ve spent the last three months trying to decipher the tattoo and saying.
“(Y/N)! You going to the football game in Metropolis this weekend?” Jon Kent, a close friend of yours asked, walking alongside you. You both hit it off when you first started at Smallville High, his twin brother Jordan included.
You nodded at his question, your bags already packed back at the warehouse you hid and converted on the outskirts of town. You must have drifted out of reality because the next thing you know, you’re on the floor rubbing your backside.
“Sorry! (Y/N), I am so sorry!” Jordan’s voice panicked, trying to pick up your books. You quickly took notice and helped him, forgetting about your soulmate mark. “Why do you have Superman’s logo on your wrist?” Jordan asked, highly confused.
You stood up from the floor, dusting yourself off. “Dunno. When I find my soulmate I’ll let you know” You sighed, grabbing your spellbook from the floor. “I’ll see you both at the game. I gotta go” You changed the subject before running out of the school.
The moment you left the town to go back to your home, the overwhelming feeling of pain, confusion and anger took over. You fell onto the road, your bag dropping beside you. One thing you hated about being an Empath Witch, the negativity of others.
But this was different. It was like two complete strangers fighting over something, something you’ve only experienced once in your life. “So you’re the little witch? I’ve heard stories about you Ms. Ramon. Some said you were a low-grade Supergirl back on our planet” A man taunted you, walking closer as you tried to find a power dampener in your bag.
The man yanked it out of your hands, throwing it to the side. You looked up to see a man in an oversized metal suit. “Let me guess, you’re the guy who tried to kill Superman? Captain Irons?” You guessed, recognizing his emotional aura.
No answer.
“Remember me? The little girl you left motherless when you decided that all powered beings were evil” You retorted, your eyes glowing bright (F/C). Irons readied his hammer, it’s mere presence taunting you.
“You shall pay for Mariposa Delfaine’s death” You swore, snapping your wrist to one side. Irons. A wave of concerned emotions overtook your senses, making you turn. Looking at you with wide eyes, Superman landed to see the scene in front of him. “How?” He asked, coming closer to you.
You felt his emotions increase, causing you to clutch your head in your hands. “Sweet Jesus!” You groaned, falling to your knees. “This feels like the time I accidently read Clark Kent’s emotions” You compared, breathing heavily. “What can I do to help?” Superman asked.
You looked at him in shock.
“What can I do to help?” Clark asked you, seeing you limp towards football practice. “Excuse me?” You asked him. He looked down to your clearly broken leg, how you hadn't screamed with every step was beyond him. “Your leg (Y/N), it looks broken” He sighed.
Of course it was broken, you jumped from a thirteen storey window last night after you stole some information on Kryptonese. “I’m fine Mr. Kent” You answered, praying he wouldn make contact with you. You wouldn’t be safe feeling his emotions after his mother’s death. “(Y/N), you need medical attention. If you're not comfortable with Nurse Kelly, I know some basic first aid” Clark offered.
You shuddered at the thought of Nurse Kelly giving you first aid, that girl is kinda weird and her emotions match. You reluctantly sat down on the bleachers, praying he wouldn’t make contact. Clark kneeled down on the concrete, pressing his fingers gently into our leg. *dolor cesset humano tactui* you chanted in your head.
However when Clakr touched your skin, you bit the urge to scream. So much pain, loss… grief and regret. For a man that looked like he had everything figured out, his emotions were like a normal human only ten times more intense.
“Clark? You’re Kal-El?” You asked in a hushed tone. It wasn’t really a question for him but yourself. He was shocked, his emotions shifting rapidly causing you more pain. “My bag…. I need my bag.” You moaned once more, the emotions getting stronger. Clark reached for your bag, bringin it to you. “There’s an old book, open it to the page titled ‘Aliena Adfectus Donec Cantus’ and I need the first spell” you instructed.
Clark read out the spell, coping his words with better punctuation. Soon enough the pain ceases, allowing you to stand without an ache. You turned to Clark smiling kindly. “You know what El Mayarah means by any chance?”
…
You sat outside the Kent Farm, apparently Irons trapped Clark and Lois along with the boys tried to save him. You waited patiently for Clark’s red truck to drive into the farm, Jon and Jordan safe and sound.
“(Y/N)!?” Jordan’s voice yelled, looking up from your spellbook. His hair was a mess. He had soot and scraped cheeks as he smiled at your presence. His clothes were filthy but that didn’t stop the rush of excitement you felt in your core. “Jordan!” You screamed, running into his arms. You felt a weird tingle on your wrist but that didn’t matter. He was okay. “I was so worried when your Dad told me what happened” You muttered into his chest.
You both parted from the hug before you hugged Jon as well, scolding him for driving and ruining his Dad’s truck. “It’s weird having someone else know about Dad’s other life” Jon commented as you bandaged their wounds. “Well now you guys know how I can tell how you’re feeling now. Thank Jesus that it isn’t as intense as your Dad’s” You smiled, putting away the medical supplies.
Clark had returned, hugging his sons the moment he walked in the door. You felt the love seep into the room like a tsunami, you felt lightheaded in a goodway. “You okay (Y/N)?” Lois asked you, seeing you sway side to side.
“Empathy takes effect on my body. Positive emotions are like helium gas wehreelse negative ones are like touture. Kryptonians emotions affect me ten times more to a normal human” You slurred before Lois guided you to the couch. “Motus temporaliter coniunctus Clark Kent” you chanted lazily before the effects of Clark’s emotions wore off.
“I need to make a totem for your emotions. Is he always this happy go lucky and sappy?” You asked Lois, pointing to her husband. “Living embodiment of a golden retriever” Lois answered. You stood up, grabbing your bag. “I better be going before I walk into a trash pile” You huffed, walking to the door.
“What does El Mayarah mean? I can't find a meaning anywhere!?” You asked Clark, the door half opened. “Stronger Together, it’s what the House of El stands for” Lois answered for him. “How did you know that?” Clark asked his wife. “Kara”

Rain poured outside the warehouse you bought. You say bought but really you just spelled the owner into giving it to you for free. Your dog, Krypto snuggled up against you as you stared at your wrist.

A/N: Back to back ‘getting stuck in a room together’ fics, I hope you guys don’t get sick of them. For this fic, let's pretend that Superman & Lois actually acknowledges the existence of other shows in the Arrowverse. Also, let's pretend Jordan actually knows how to use his powers so he helps his father. Please ignore the lame superhero name.
Summary: When the team gets tired of you and Jordan hiding your infatuation with each other, you both are locked in the speed lab together where you bond over superpowers.

“Whisp and I can provide back up... If-if she wants to, of course!” Jordan nervously suggested to the room of heros, referring to your superhero name, before turning to you, “Do you want to? Canvas the city I mean.”
Frost visibly rolled her eyes at the boy for what felt like the hundredth time. She hasn’t even dated anyone but she knows that she has more romantic confidence than him.
In Jordan’s defense, he was fourteen while Frost was twenty-two. However she and anyone else would bet that in eight years, Jordan still wouldn’t be able to speak in certain sentences around you.
Unaware of the teen’s struggle, you simply chalked Jordan’s strange behavior up to nerves about his first big mission.
You had started saving the city with your dad only a year after you first discovered your speed. But you had been told that Jordan had only recently gotten a grip on his powers and this is the first time he’s properly been able to help.
At first, you doubted how much the boy could have learned in the few short months he’d known about his powers. But you were pleasantly surprised when you saw that his speed was almost able to rival your own.
Debriefing you all on his plan to finally catch the villain of the week, Barry was about to confirm you and Jordan’s roles when Iris cut in, “Sure. But first we need you both to run a couple of tests in the Speed Lab.
You groaned at the idea of your speed being checked again. Ever since you’ve become Whisk, Central City’s second quickest hero and the Flash’s trusted sidekick, you were constantly being tested and your parents had threatened to take you out of the field completely if your vitals showed any sign of stress.
“Really, mom,” you complained, “We were literally checked a couple hours ago. What could have possibly changed since then?!”
As a fellow protective mom, Lois answered your rhetorical question, “It was also once believed that the strongest man in the world could only lift one thousand pounds. We’d rather be safe than sorry when it comes to metas and superpowers.”
Your shoulders dropped in defeat at her argument and you and Jordan exchanged futile looks. Sighing, you and him had no choice but to follow your mothers to the speed lab.

As Allegra hooked you and Jordan up to the speed monitors, you skeptically raised an eyebrow, “How do you even know how to do this?”
Shooting you an incredulous look, Allegra sarcastically rebutted, “It’s impressive right? I have powers and know how to do stuff!”
You playfully rolled your eyes as Jordan asked, “Where’s Caitlin?”
“She’s out of town visiting her mom,” Allegra answered, tapping buttons on the monitor, “So you lovebird’s will be stuck with me as your temporary doctor until she gets back.”
The second you heard her say ‘lovebirds’, your brain seemed to short circuit and you couldn’t find it in you to focus on the rest of her sentence.
Allegra simply smirked at her own words as she observed your gaped face and Jordan’s quickened breathing.
Deciding to cut you some slack, she stepped back and gave you both an out, “Okay, fifty laps around the lap-”
And before she said anything else, you were off, not wanting to stay for Jordan to see your panicked expression. He quickly followed your lead, not wanting you to be able to pick up on his internal alarm.
Letting your legs carry you, your mind was able to focus on distracting itself from your attraction towards Jordan that apparently everyone else has picked up on. You could only hope that he hadn’t noticed. Though with your luck, it’s likely that he had.
Less than five or even three minutes later, you had finished all fifty laps around the speed lab and came to a stop where Allegra was supposed to be waiting for you both to finish. Key word: “supposed”.
Your eyebrows scrunched together in confusion at her disappearance, and a second later, Jordan came to a stop next to you.
Noticing the missing interim doctor, Jordan commented, “Did we seriously take so long that she left?”
“I don’t think so,” you shrugged, checking the time, “She must have stepped out. I’ll go get her.”
Assuming that you’d be able to easily speed out the door and find her, as you had done so many times before, you ran towards the door. When it was unable to be opened, your body slammed against it, resulting in a loud bang and your pained groan.
Jordan yelled your name, rushing towards you to check on your withering form.
You grabbed the shoulder that made contact with the wall and hissed at the momentary ache. Although you were a speedster and therefore unable to bruise, , unlike kryptonians, you were able to hurt, especially from running into a wall at two hundred miles per hour.
“What was that?!” Jordan yelled, more in surprise than anger.
Feeling the pain in your shoulder quickly diminish, you gestured to the door, “It won’t open.”
He furrowed his eyebrows while reaching for the doorknob, “Are you sure?”
Twisting the handle, he quickly noticed that it wouldn’t budge which resulted in him applying more force. As you opened your mouth to warn him, the door knob popped off the door, the metal now resembling a crumpled piece of aluminum foil.
“Oh,” Jordan remarked, looking down at the now broken handle.
You rolled your eyes, “Wow, thanks for that. Now it’ll be much easier to open.”
He scoffed, “Well it’s not like you’re doing anything to help down there.”
You begrudgingly lifted your arm up in a silent request for help and he lightly chuckled at your bruised pride as he pulled you up.
The young kryptonian shrugged, “How hard could it possibly be for two superpowered teenagers to open a door?”
You shot him an incredulous look, “Considering S.T.A.R. Labs gets seized by a new villain every month and each room is designed to keep superpowered adults in or out, I’d consider it very hard.”
Throwing a punch at the wall, Jordan slightly frowned when it didn’t even dent.
“Hmm, maybe we just need to think about it a little.”
Your eyes brightened as you got an idea, “Wait! Dad taught me how to throw lightning a while ago. Step back.”
Jordan followed your instructions and backed away from the door while curiously watching you.
Taking a deep breath, you began speeding around in circles to gather enough energy. Once you felt every part of your body buzzing with electricity, you concentrated it all into your hand before throwing the harnessed energy at the door.
Slowing down, you were only met with an unchanged, shut door with black ash coating the front. You sighed as you sat down with your head in your hands.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt, Jordan gave you a comforting smile as he sat down next to you, “It looked super cool at least.”
A smile spread across your face at the compliment as it felt like butterflies were released in your stomach.
Trying one last power to open the door, Jordan’s eyes turned red as he used his heat-vision from next to you.
After a couple seconds of nothing, you warned, “I don’t think that’s doing anything and your dad will be insanely angry, or disappointed, or however Superman shows emotion if you solar flare.”
Jordan stopped at the threat of one of his father’s lectures before revealing, “Dad saves the anger for mom, he just looks at us with intense disappointment whenever Jon or I do something.”
You chuckled at the thought of Jordan or his brother doing something worthy of anger.
“Really, it happens!” Jordan defended, “Like one time we skipped class and we almost got grounded for a year.”
“Ooh, super bad,” you sarcastically chided, “You both are such rebels.”
He rolled his eyes, “Yeah, yeah. I can hardly believe that you’ve done worse.”
You raised your eyebrows in challenge, “I literally kick bad-guy butt every day after school. I don’t need to rebel.”
He understandingly shrugged before his attention was pulled elsewhere. Pulling himself off the tiled floor, he walked over to a power box on the wall.
“What if we cut whatever power that goes into the door that keeps it so tightly locked?
You raised an eyebrow, “Unless you’re secretly an electrical engineer, I don’t think we should be messing with something that connects to the entire building’s power.”
Jordan’s shoulders dropped in disappointment, “Oh.”
You sighed before patting on the ground next to you, “Come and sit at least, who knows how long we’ll be in here. Save your strength.”
Grabbing two water bottles that were luckily stashed in the room, Jordan walked back over to join you on the floor.
Laying your back on the ground, your legs perpendicularly crossed over his as you stared up at the ceiling.
Just as you closed your eyes, Jordan broke the comfortable silence, “So, how did Barry teach you how to throw lightning?”
“I honestly don’t know. I just kinda… do it. He just talked out how it feels. Like the whole ‘Run Barry, run’ thing that happens every week.”
“That’s cool. I don’t think my dad has many cool tricks with his powers.”
You lightly scoffed, scooting closer to him, “Umm… thunder clap, cape tricks, freeze breath alone is amazing… must I go on?!”
Jordan chuckled and you smiled as his jet-black curls bounced.
“Fine. But those are mostly Aunt Kara’s powers, Dad just flies around and punches stuff.”
“Okay, okay. But you must admit that it is a pretty strong punch.”
Jordan nodded as the conversation faded out. Reaching to touch his hair, you threaded the ringlets between your fingers.
Sure, you and Jordan have always been close, being the youngest members of both your teams. However, today was testing that intimacy to see if it would grow into something more.
And you hoped that it did.
Disrupting the peace you both had succumbed to, the door flew open to reveal Frost, Allegra, and your respective moms on the other side.
Removing your hand from his hair at a lightning fast speed, you both stood up and away from each other in an attempt to prevent the awkwardness that would ensue if they knew of the feelings that lingered between you both.
“Hey you two! We were wondering what you both got up to,” Frost exclaimed, having plenty of experience playing clueless to whatever scheme she was complicit in.
You crossed your arms, glaring at Allegra, “The door wouldn’t open. Did we miss the mission?”
“Yeah, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle,” Allegra remarked, ignoring your scowl.
Noticing your murderous expression, your mom cut in, “But what have you both been up to? I hope you weren’t too bored in here.”
Jordan shrugged, “Nope, just talking and stuff.”
“Stuff?” Lois inquired.
His face visibly reddened at the implication and you quickly explained before anyone could jump to their own conclusions.
“I’m going to teach Jordan how to throw lightning!” you blurted out, immediately regretting the responsibility you thrusted upon yourself.
Lois’ eyebrows shot up in surprise, “Throw… lightning?”
“Can kryptonians even do that?” Allegra asked.
You shrugged, grabbing Jordan’s hand and frantically pulled him away from the group, “We’ll sure find out.”
With that, you nervously smiled at Jordan and he returned your look with a wide grin of his own.
Taking their stunned silence as permission, you sped out the door and gestured for the young hero to follow you.
Before you were out the door, you heard your mom call, “Be home by ten!” before you and Jordan were long away from the lab.
As you both chased each other around the city, either by foot or flight, you showcased tricks for the other to copy.
With beaming faces and an obvious fondness between you both, you let the wind guide your hearts and soon enough, it felt less like you were chasing after the other and more like you were both naturally following the same path.

A Wondersis One-Shot

“And this! Dear sister! Is where my team and I meet to save the world!”
Her eyes were wide with wonder and awe, gazing around the room as she breathed, “Diana, you save the world here? Every day?”
Diana shrugged. “It is mostly every day. We typically arrive to the Watchtower when one of us has a mission.” She grinned. “It is usually Batman who calls us.”
Her head swiveled. “Batman? Is he here?” She smiled, taking Diana’s hands. “Oh, I so wish to meet all your friends! The Flash and Green Lantern and Superman and—”
“Peace, (Y/N),” Diana giggled. “I shall introduce you to them all.”
(Y/N)’s smile only widened. “You cannot blame me for being so excited sister. You come home and tell me stories of your adventures and it is all I can do to be—” she cut herself off with a gasp, pointing to something in the corner. “WHAT IS THAT!”
Her sister merely watched bemusedly as (Y/N) sped over to the machine, poking and prodding it. “That is an ice cream machine.”
“How does it work?” she questioned, and Diana walked to her side, grabbing a cup from the side before putting it under the nozzle.
“Like this.” She pulled the lever and couldn’t help but laugh as (Y/N)’s eyes widened, head cocking sideways as she watched the frozen treat swirl in the cup.
“Amazing,” she breathed, and Diana handed her the cup along with a spoon.
“This is chocolate ice-cream. Be careful not to—”
(Y/N) stuck a giant spoonful in her mouth, eyes widening as she blurted. “Iss o old!”
“Sister,” Diana sighed with amusement. “I tried to warn you.”
“Old—old—old,” she whined, snapping her mouth shut, and her expression morphed into joy as she swallowed. (Y/N) shoved the cup in her sister’s face. “This is fantastic! Who created this? I must congratulate them!”
Diana fell to pieces in laughter, her sister puffing her cheeks. “Why are you laughing at me, Diana! I am being completely serious!”
“I know you are, but the inventor is…no longer alive.”
(Y/N)’s lips pulled downwards. “How sad!” she stuck the spoon back in her mouth, holding out her hand. “Ow e ore!” Diana grinned and took her hand, leading her around.

Some twenty minutes later, the two women were walking down the hall when (Y/N) suddenly stopped, unbeknownst to Diana, who kept talking. “You would never know the Watchtower was up here. We have the ability to—(Y/N)?”
She turned, glancing at her sister who was staring out one of the bigger windows, eyes big and round with awe, mouth open slightly; her hands were pressed tight to her stomach. “Sister?” Diana worried, walking back. “Is everything alright?”
(Y/N) glanced at her, ushed tears in her vision. “The world…it is…beautiful.”
Diana’s face eased from concern to warmth as she wrapped her arms around (Y/N), resting her head on her sister’s shoulder. “It is.”
“I never would have believed I would be able to see it in its entirety like this. I am overcome with such emotion.”
“It is love.”
(Y/N) nodded. “Yes. It is.” She reached up and wiped her eyes. “I also have an urge to paint this wondrous masterpiece.”
Diana laughed. “I do not know if the Watchtower could hold the beauty your painting would produce.”
“You flatter me, sister.”
“Nonsense, I speak the truth.” She pulled away, glancing down the hall. “If you will excuse me for just a moment. I need to use the restroom.”
“Of course,” she nodded. “I will wait here for you.”
(Y/N) watched Diana walk off before turning back to the window, stepping up to it; she raised a hand and rested the tips of her fingers on the glass, feeling the chill on her skin. It was absolutely beautiful, the flow of the clouds against the bright blue water, along the green and tan of the lands. Her fingers itched to paint. To create. To weave and design tapestries that would remind her of this moment. All of it.
Someone’s arm fitted around her waist. “Hey Wonder Woman, you look absolutely beautiful in this light.”
She turned her head, seeing a brown-haired man with caramel eyes gazing at her. “Who are you?”
He blinked, eyes widening as he said, “You’re not Wonder Woman. Who are you?”
“My sister and I are two completely different women.” (Y/N) pulled from his grip. “But I asked you first. Speak or I shall drag the truth from you.”
“Is that a promise?” he flirted. “Because I totally have a thing for—NGH!”
His response was cut off by (Y/N) who yanked him forward by the arm and shoved him up against the window, pinning his arms behind him.
“Answer my question!” she shouted, shoving his arms up until he let out a grunt and raised on his toes to keep from feeling the pain.
“Hey! Easy! I need those arms!”
“You will need more than arms if you do not tell me who you are!”
“Hal Jordan!” he shouted. “I’m Green Lantern!”
(Y/N)’s eyes narrowed. “We shall wait for Diana to return to confirm that truth.”
“I’m telling you the truth!”
“And we shall see.”
Footsteps sounded from down the hall and she glanced over, seeing Diana coming down, a man in red and another in blue following.
“Sister!” she called out. “I have apprehended this man! He claims to be the Green Lantern!”
Diana sighed, dragging a hand down her face. “(Y/N)…Hal is.”
She looked at Diana, then to Hal, then back to Diana. “Truly? Him? He looks so…plain though?”
“Don’t sound so disappointed,” he muttered, cheek still smushed up against the glass; he glanced at the man in red. “Hey Barry.”
The man, Barry, snickered. “Having fun, Hal?”
“Oh, you know, this is just another Tuesday night for me.” He wiggled his fingers. “Is that your breastplate, pretty woman? It’s awfully cold. I’d be happy to warm it up for you.”
(Y/N) scowled, stepping away from his hands. “You are absolutely disgusting. Diana you cannot possibly work with such a lecher.”
Diana giggled at Hal’s outcry of offense. “You get used to him, sister.” She waved. “Now please, let him go. You’ll break the poor man’s arms.”
She did as Diana commanded, letting him go and Hal sunk back to the floor, shaking out his arms. “Damn, you’ve got a strong grip, pretty woman.”
“My name is not ‘pretty woman’,” she griped. “I am Princess (Y/N) of Themyscira.”
Hal grinned at her. “Pleasure you meet you, Princess.”
(Y/N)’s lip curled, and she turned her attention to Diana. “Are all men like this?”
“Thankfully, no,” her sister said, placing hands on both Barry and the man in blue’s backs. “May I introduce Barry Allen the Flash and Clark Kent, who is Superman.”
(Y/N)’s disgust fell away to happiness as she stepped up and hugged them both. “It is my honor to meet you both! Diana has talked about all of you in great detail.”
“Has she talked about me?” Hal questioned and she turned her head.
“No.”
“Darn shame. I’m a great conversation topic.”
She looked at Diana. “Is he always this arrogant?”
“No,” she shrugged. “Sometimes he is asleep.”
The sisters laughed whilst Hal pouted, and Barry asked, “Princess (Y/N), would you like to come to the cafeteria and eat some lunch?”
She smiled. “You may call me (Y/N), Barry. But yes, I would like to. That is, if Diana is coming too?”
“I would sister, but Clark was coming to get me for a meeting with Batman.” Diana excused, turning to Superman who nodded.
“We’re discussing some changes to the Watchtower communicators,” he said and (Y/N) merely smiled.
“I understand. We shall meet up later then.” Her eyes drifted to Barry’s. “Are you going with them?”
“Nope,” he said, popping his bottom lip. “Bruce said it was okay for me to skip out. He held out his arm. “May I escort you?”
Laughing, she looped her arm with his. “You may.” As she passed Hal, she held out her free arm. “Are you coming?”
He glanced at her. “I thought you didn’t like me?”
“It is too early to decide such a thing. Do I think you are a lecher? Absolutely. But that is merely my first opinion.” (Y/N) smiled. “I believe you will change it.”
Hal cracked a grin and looped his arm with hers. “See, if you really wanna change it, you should let me take you flying.”
“Oh? Like in a jet? Diana has one,” she chirped, letting the two men lead her down the hall.
“Of course in a jet. See there’s this place in Coast City—”

I feel like now would be great time to bring up Jordan’s mental health again on the show. With all the stress in his life and his metabolism potentially getting faster due to his powers growing, and his meds might therefor start having less/shorter effect, it wouldn’t be surprising if his social anxiety started to act up again.
I don’t know if the town jugding Jon bc of the x-k stuff could open up old wounds, since I don’t really know enough about social anxiety to know if other ppl being jugde might affect affect someone with the disorder, but I can see him worrying that ppl might become suspicious of his own success on football team last year. Doesn’t it look bad that someone his size being able to tackle like that and accidentally break his brother’s arm with a single punch ( trying to punch someone who has known him at least since grade school and was accusing him of juicing), and then next semester, that brother is supposedly doing and selling drugs? Maybe Jon wasn’t the first Kent brother to cheat his way onto the field? Either way, between the everyting going on with his family and relationship with Sarah, as well as powers potentially negating the usefulness of his medication, it wouldn’t be unexpected that his mental health could take a small hit at least.
It could be an interesting thing to explore. reminds people of the fact that mental health requires maintenances, it feels like a realistic thing that might happen, and it could lead to an interesting arc for Jordan. The worrying about the medication, the frustration of suffering such a setback, trying to control his heatvision and superstrength when his anxiety becomes too much (idk if muscle control is harder when you are experiencing social anxiety symptoms, but from what i gather it probably won’t help) and worrying that if he has a panic attack he'll lose control completely. It could also somehow tie into Jon’s story. Maybe it could make him realize that not everything in his family has changed and that he can still help ppl out without superpowers or being a world famous journalist.
Plus it could tie into a mental health related arc/discussion involving Natelie, Jon or Sarah or any combination of those three.

not at all here to change ur mind about Kent and chara because we know chara to be a softy off the ice and taking pictures of pigeons to post on social media of course he’s there for this hurt but feral blonde kitten coming into the league lost and hurt
Aw, it makes me so happy to think that other people ship Kentara! Lol, yes, Kent is the feral kitten, and Chara is the gentle giant who takes care of him and lets him cry on his shoulder in Boston when Kent's visits to Samwell end in disaster.
Also, please have this unfinished Kent/Chara WIP:
Everyone in the League knew the story of Kent Parson and Jack Zimmermann. Between Zimmermann being the son of a hockey legend and an award-winning actress, the two of them being rumored to be lovers, and the two of them slated to be top draft picks of their year, culminating in Parson actually being the top draft pick, it was a story that had the hockey world spellbound for weeks. Personally, Zdeno found the fixation on the Zimmermanns’ and Parson’s pain to be both invasive and morbid. Every time he caught a glimpse on TV of some TMZ gossipmonger staking out the Aces prospect camp hotel and then badgering Parson with questions about his feelings on Zimmermann’s condition, he was flooded by renewed disgust.
The Bruins had the dubious privilege of being more familiar with the Parson-Zimmermann saga than anyone else; one of their first-year players for the season was Jordan Caron, who’d played on Parson and Zimmermann’s line in Juniors. The more gossipy of the Bruins (read: Marchy) took full advantage of this connection to attempt to scrounge up details that the press had left uncovered.
“What was he like?” Marchy asked as they stripped off their gear after practice. “Was he, like, an obvious cokehead? Coming to practice high, stuff like that?”
Caron shrugged, and even watching from the corner of his eye, Zdeno could spot the obvious discomfort on his face. “No, nothing like that. He was just an intense guy, you know? He really wasn’t like anyone who you thought would be using. Between them, Parson was the guy who liked to party. I mean, if I’d heard that one of the two of them overdosed without knowing who. . .”
Marchy and several of the younger guys continued to pester Caron with questions, but only until the end of that practice, when Chara firmly told them to knock it off, and they immediately obliged.
Whatever the gossip about Parson, whatever anyone had to say about what he did back in Juniors, no one could deny that he was a phenomenal player on the ice. It wasn’t just that he was good with the puck, either. It wasn’t just that he could score and make it look boring because it came so easily to him. He had speed. During the Olympics, Chara always made a point of watching the speed skaters, following their movements during each event and talking to them later to ask them about their techniques, hoping to improve his own skills. Chara was always conscious of needing to improve himself, always ready to give credit where it was due, so he would readily volunteer that seeing Parson effortlessly outskate any of his opponents was nothing short of incredible
It was utterly astounding to watch. In Zdeno’s experience, first-year players often needed extra help to improve their skating, struggling to catch up to the more stringent demands of the League. But Parson? He was a regular ghost out on the ice, disappearing into the corner of your eye just as you finally thought you’d pinpointed him. It was a good talent for him to possess, given that his size and scoring record made him a prime target for any rival team’s enforcers. Very rarely, however, did any of them catch up to him.
But Parson could catch up to Chara, no question.
It happened near the end of the third period of a particularly rigorous game, with the Bruins leading by one point but the Aces trying their damnedest to bring it into overtime. With Thomas starting to fade on blocking the shots and the Aces’ offense never slowing, Chara was fully expecting them to succeed.
Just as he was steeling himself for the possibility, suddenly, one of the Aces slammed into him at full speed, knocking him against the boards. As Chara fought to keep his balance and also fully realize that, yes, one of the Aces had actually attempted to board him, he vaguely registered that the same player had simply dropped to the ice in a heap. Steadying himself on his skates, Chara glanced down to find that it was Parson, the Aces’s new star and first year player, coughing and convulsing on the ice, seemingly struggling to stand.
Even though it was Parson who came at him, guilt instantly flooded through Chara as he saw the condition of the other player, and cold dread churned in his stomach as Parson let out a hacking cough, dark blood surging out from his throat to splatter across the ice.
Chara didn’t hesitate for a moment before signalling for a ref to halt play at the first opportunity.
It wasn’t until the end of the game, after the Bruins just barely scraped out a win over the Aces, that Chara fully understood what had happened. Parson had lost one of his skate blades mid-stride and, unable to control his direction any longer, plowed straight into Chara. The impact had knocked the wind right out of him and left him with a bloody nose. He’d fallen to the ice, barely able to wheeze in breath, while blood from his nose dripped down his throat as he tried and failed to stand up and locate his missing blade.
Parson somehow found him that night at the bar where the Bruins were celebrating their victory and apologized, backwards snapback hat on his head in all its glory. (It was just beginning to be recognized as his trademark.)
“I’m sorry about what happened during the game,” Parson told him, looking at him directly with an unflinching gaze. “It really was an accident. I really wasn’t trying to hurt you.”
Chara stifled a snort at the idea of Parson, who stood nearly a foot shorter than him and easily weighed at least fifty pounds less, deliberately headhunting him on the ice. He’d either have to be incredibly stupid or a complete goon, and he’d seen the way Parson played and knew he was neither.
“No need to apologize,” he told Parson, hoping that his accent didn’t obscure the sincerity in his voice. “What happens on the ice is fine to leave on the ice. We know this time was an accident and not a dirty play.”
“Thanks.” Parson’s lips tugged up a little bit, like he might smile, and suddenly Chara found himself overcome by the distinct desire to see it out in full force. Thinking back, he wasn’t sure he’d ever seen Parson offer up anything in interviews but a cocky smirk.
“You should let me buy you a drink, though,” Chara continued, letting a playful warmth flood his tone. “To show you I understand your apology.”
Parson laughed and ducked his head slightly, and Chara got his wish fulfilled as he glimpsed a small smile playing across his mouth. Combined with the faint pink tinge in his cheeks, it was, Chara decided, a very good look for him.

when you found out you were pregnant, you went to the only person you could trust: sarah. seeing as jordan lived with her and was with her at the time, and being friends with him as well, you decided to include him on everything; plus the fact that you are pregnant with his nephew, you felt like he had the right to know.
the four of you were all incoming juniors in college, and you knew you weren't exactly ready to start a family. you only had enough income to afford the apartment you and jon rent, as well as groceries and other necessities.
so, you needed at least some reassurance that things would go well.
"i don't exactly know what to do," you mumble, sitting down on the couch. they join and exchange a confused look.
"what's up, (y/n)?" jordan wonders.
"i'm pregnant, and i'm scared."
"scared about what?" sarah asks.
"raising a baby when i'm only twenty, not having enough to provide for them, not being a good mother."
"hey, you'll be an excellent mother," jordan interrupts. "i know you will."
"but what if i'm not? what if i completely fail and i'm left alone?"
"jonathan will be there with you. did he seem excited? because he's always thought about having a family with you."
"i, uh..."
"does he know about the baby?" sarah asks.
"does who know about what baby?" jonathan wonders obliviously, suddenly walking into the apartment. "sorry for barging in, but i really need to use the bathroom." he disappears into the hallway and as soon as the door shuts, you burst into tears.
"everything will be okay," sarah comforts you.
"why's he here?" you ask softly.
"i invited him over because i thought you two were going to lunch or something," jordan holds his hands up in defense.
"no, it's okay. i guess i just have to face him earlier than i was expecting."
jonathan returns and takes a seat across from you after kissing your forehead.
"i thought you and sarah were out at lunch," he smiles.
"uh, we were going to soon, but i had to talk to her and jordan about something."
"what's that?" the room goes dead silent and your eyes dart between the couple.
"uh, we'll give you some time," sarah clears her throat awkwardly, dragging jordan to their room.
"(y/n), what's going on? what did you need to talk to them about?"
"i'm pregnant," you sigh, not meeting his eyes. "and i wasn't sure how to tell you and i didn't know if you're even okay with having a family this young and-"
"so you came to my brother and his girlfriend to tell them and figure things out instead of me?" he asks rudely. you are taken aback by his abrasiveness.
"i didn't know how you were going to react, so i figured asking two people who you are incredibly close to would help me gain the courage to tell you and be okay with all of this," you reply, standing your ground now.
"so now you don't trust me enough to tell me things like you're pregnant with our baby?" as soon as he says the last two words, his entire demeanor changes.
his angry expression drops and it turns to a soft one, his eyes tearing up.
"our baby," he whispers, mostly to himself. "you know what, it doesn't matter that you didn't tell me first. the important thing is you're pregnant with our baby and i couldn't be happier."
he gets up and moves across the couch to sit next to you, tackling you with a huge hug, so hard that you both fall back.
"are things okay now?" sarah sticks her head out of the door. "can we celebrate?"
"yeah, yeah come here," jonathan excitedly yells, standing to bring his brother in for a hug. sarah goes right to you, and the tension in the room disappears as love and excitement takes over.
"i love you," jonathan whispers in your ear after making the rounds of hugs. "and i love our baby just as much already."
"i love you too, jonathan. i can't wait to have our little family."
