I had a dream a little bit ago that I hung out with John on his porch which was, for some reason, underneath a highway. We talked for a while and he would get up from his rocking chair and pace from one end of the porch to the other while rambling about all his goings on! But then at some point, he got really excited about something in particular! In his excitement, he forgot about personal space and grabbed each arm rest of my rocking chair and jump scared me very suddenly!!

What's K.O. CRISIS?

Hey all. Over the past couple months, I've gotten a lot of followers who probably don't know about my OCs and portfolio projects that I'm also working on, so I'm making a quick master-post for it!

K.O. CRISIS is a series of artwork––character designs, illustrations, sketches, and animations––inspired by late-90s/early-2000s anime and Y2K culture.

Set in an alternate-history Los Angeles in the year 2001, the story follows disabled Taiwanese-American Ashley Tang as she fights her way to the top of the bracket in the national augmented boxing championship.

As the youngest female fighter in the championship, she'll have to fight tooth-and-nail to defend her place amongst the heavy-weights. While her rare dual arm prosthetics help even the playing fields, it'll take more than brute strength to prove her worth.

But this isn't a story about an underdog triumphing against all odds. Throughout the story, Ashley will push herself to the limit for the sake of validating her existence under the grinding heel of the sports media machine, in a world that values disabled bodies more than their lives. As the championship rages on, one question seems to linger through the roar: Is Ash strong enough to win, or is she brave enough to quit?

Through the project, I'm hoping to explore representations of prosthetic-users in pop culture as "enhanced superheroes," as well as discussions of trans-humanism under medical capitalism, the fetishization of new technology, and the commodification of disabled people as entertainment.

Accompanying her journey include characters like Noora Balakrishnan, a local transfem prosthetics engineer who doubles as Ashley's ringside mechanical cutwoman.

The project is still in its early stages, especially since I sorta rebooted it earlier this year (meaning I'm no longer using past, outdated art for the project). If you enjoy it, you can find more artwork for the project under the #ko crisis tag!

a week after the release of good omens S2 and i'm still going through it. i can't stop overthinking so i might as well put it into a post.

Aziraphale's initial rejection

so when aziraphale was recounting his conversation with the metatron, we saw him flat out reject the Supreme Archangel position at first. he explicitly states that doesn't want to go back to heaven. aziraphale has never been known to want power. we know that he loves his life on earth and everything that comes with it. that was so very clear in S1 since they literally stopped Armageddon because they didn't want earth to be destroyed.

but then the metatron brings out the big guns that supposedly made him reconsider— making crowley an angel again. OK so maybe this would've been a major PRO in aziraphale's internal pros and cons list and we're led to believe that it was actually what made him change his mind and accept the offer.

to put it simply, i imagine aziraphale's mind going like:

Supreme Archangel job = no thanks. Supreme Archangel job with angel!crowley = hmm interesting.

what i get from this is that he didn't want the job itself. he wanted it because it would've meant "restoring" crowley's angelic status.

(don't even get me started on the topic on whether i believe that he actually thought crowley would want to be restored in the first place)

but then crowley refused. not just refused but was offended by it.

so effectively, there are no more pros if we think about it. why would aziraphale still accept the job without crowley when we were led to the conclusion that aziraphale only considered the offer because he would get to take crowley too? there's something more. there's something we're missing here. there was definitely more to that conversation than what we were shown.

aziraphale's eerie smile at the end makes me almost sure there's something more at play here because they probably made michael sheen smile like a satisfied villain for a reason. i would be more willing to believe he came willingly if he had a blank expression in the elevator. why would he smile like that especially when he just had the biggest confrontation with crowley in their entire existence mere minutes ago?!?!

i don't buy into one particular theory but there's something going on for sure.

as for what that is, i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Hi!! I just wanted to say that I love your work and I find your rendition of Sage/Totk Link absolutely AMAZING!!

And this isn’t specifically a request or anything I just wanted to comment

(and idk if this would count as a spoiler for TOTK but just in case I’ll say it: just talking about Link’s home in botw and Totk)

But as much as I love Link’s new home near Tarrey Town…

I MISS MY COTTAGECORE ONE IN HATENO!!!

And this just might be me projecting but I feel like Sage would miss it at times too.

Especially since a certain princess took it over and made it her own home.

And just passing through Hateno and hearing all about how “how this is Princess Zelda’s home” and how there’s literally villagers who will go in and clean the place while Zelda’s gone like?!?!?

Where was this hospitality for Link?!

Honestly I somewhat headcannon that Sage would begin to start avoiding Hateno simply because of how prominent of a figure Zelda became there for the citizens and how all the citizens seem to forget that HE used to own that house, that HE worked hard to but said house and completely fix it up when it was going to be demolished.

I ALSO MISS MY HATENO HOME I LOVED IT SO MUCH THEN I HAD TO USE MY IMAGINATION AND CREATE MY OWN HOME??? wHICH, BTW, COST SO MUCH MORE?!?!?!?

I think that's where a lot of Sage's resentment towards Zelda would come from, if not where it started. Imagine, you wake up with no memories whatsoever, suddenly have an entire kingdom on your shoulders, find out your friends are all dead, forced to rescue this kingdom and save someone who treated like absolute shit, but still manage to find a life for yourself only for her to then take it over.

Idk about yall, but I would be LIVID.

And yk what? Sage is. He is fucking boiling alive with his anger. When he first moved in, to a house that was fucking falling apart mind you, the villagers of Hateno all avoided him. None of them, save for Bolson and his company, offered their help. Bolson's help came at a price too, so he barely even counted that.

But here's this brat with the palm in her hand, getting all the credit for something he did. He fought Ganon. He saved her pathetic life. He did it all. When he finds out that the Mayor's wife is personally seeing to it that his home is being kept clean for her?! He has to leave the village and find a monster camp to cool down.

He probably only goes to Hateno for Cece. Bc we love Cece here. She did as all a favor with that Hylian hood (Iykyk). Or milk up at the farm as the farmer's family also love Link. They probably don't care too much for Zelda as she's all about modern this and technology that, while Link is much more comfortable with the slow life.

The only good thing is that now, he can let Reader design their dream home! A place with no memories of Zelda, or the Champions (The bitch took his picture too), just him and Reader, and the family they'll build there. :)

So I know everyone has their opinion on this, but I’m one of those who’d love to see some physical stuff between Crowley and Aziraphale in S3. I’m pretty sure we’ll get a better/happier/loving kiss, but part of me is hoping for consummation dammit. End the UST.

But, I also think going that far will probably not happen because I think Neil will let the fandom take what they will so everyone can relate even though there was already a giant ass kiss and the camera was supposed to be spinning around them as if they were the center of the universe, do y’all remember that??

Anyway, if we don’t get to see the true blue physical manifestation of their love (the fic writer in me wants another wall slam—wouldn’t that be a nice bookend to S1?—or an arm-sweep clearing of a desk and somebody getting lifted off the floor, a knocking headboard, something) Where was I? Oh yeah, if nothing like that, can we please at least have a montage of some of the intimacy between them before a fade to black? No, not the clinking of glasses in a public restaurant, even if the loving gaze was heart-melting. But they’re not here anymore:

Anyway, I’m just jotting down my wishlist on a public forum because why not? I want to see the cottage. Show me the one bedroom and the one bed. Show me casual touches between them. Show me Crowley waking up in the early morning (disheveled hair is a must) and reaching across the bed to the empty side. Show him wandering in to the kitchen and hugging the angel from behind as he’s there with his tea, staring out the window. Show me Crowley digging in the garden while Aziraphale reads, but also peeks over the top of his book to watch Crowley stand up and wipe his brow. Can we see them snuggling together, talking quietly, or maybe every fanartist’s dream—Crowley napping curled up next to Aziraphale while the angel reads.

Anyone have a hc of their sweet, domestic life to add?

JKR Writing Fleur Delacour: So this french bird is super sexy but she's also incredibly shallow and vain and snooty, y'know how the French are. She's high fem which is a bad thing, tomboys are the best. She's also just incredibly annoying and full of herself. Constantly making herself the centre of attention even though nobody likes her and they call her phlegm behind her back. Hilarious, right?

90% of Fanfics when Writing Fleur Delacour: At first she comes off as entitled & full of herself, but as time goes on it's clear she's actually incredibly kind, compassionate and loyal. She also has a keen sense of matters of the heart. For the younger characters she takes on the role of a wise older sister. She's loyal and nurturing and and will always be there if you need someone to talk to. She is from a noble matriarchal race of fierce warriors and will fight tooth and nail to defend what is hers.
