-work 2 hours on school assignments (worked 3h) ✔️

-study French 1 hour (40 minutes but still counts) ✔️

-20 minutes exercise ✔️

Today I didn’t:

-studied a medicine topic

-drink 2L of water (I just drink maybe 750 ml)

Hope tomorrow will be better ❤️🙌🏻

Hey hey! I discovered your little guy dog series not too long ago and fell in love with them.

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before, but is Machete (the white dog, right?) based on a pet you had, or did it come to you randomly?

If I had to pinpoint the earliest inspirations I had for him, I'd say they were this photo of an Ibizan Hound in an old dog book from the 70's that my grandparents used to have:

I remember being fascinated by this particular dog, I hadn't seen that many sighthounds/podencos in person so it looked weirdly stretched and ghostly and pointy. I thought it was the coolest looking dog ever. I think I was in elementary school at the time.

Also my childhood favorite toy was this albino rabbit here, called Sissi (Finnish for guerrilla soldier):

I think they were one of my first toys, or at least the most important one, and I would consistently pick them whenever a daycare or preschool had one of those 'bring a toy with you' days (feels weird to have to call a plush rabbit 'they' but Finnish doesn't have any gendered pronouns and I don't think I ever thought of them as a gendered being). So albinism was something I was aware of from very young age and I drew a lot of all white, red eyed animals.

Give me fic where Bruce realised that he misses the little pre JL greet up back pats or the momentarily blissful hugs from superman after life and death fights. But everytime superman does that he would always be met by fake disapproving bat grunting. Add to the mix Lois and Diana dating and Lois shares Clark rambling about how batman hates him. And to spice things up hal Jordan who no one knows how overhears the convo and goes like it would be funny if supes stops being handsy with spooky and him actually missing it. There was moment of silence before Diana and Lois looked at eachother with wide eyes and then at Hal and all hell broke loose. Starting the mission "make spooky ask his supes for hugs".

nanowrimo wrap up: i have 25,000 words of a historical romance that i didn't have at the beginning of the month, whooooooo

i'm mostly really happy that i made myself write almost every day and i didn't hit the oh god everything is trash where's the quit button in the middle of the month like i usually do. having a smaller goal helped and made actually hitting big word count days feel super productive vs slogging to always hit 1,667

anyway, i'll keep plunking away at this project, but i'll take some time away from it to finish that epilogue and write a paper for finals (UGH) in the next week or two. hopefully i can end the year with around 40K overall for it!
