ᕚ---ᕘ
The streets were dark and deserted as you made your way home from visiting your possibly soon university. You were exhausted from the energy, hustle and bustle of campus life and longed for a quiet evening with Emily. She was probably already waiting for you at your family home, and you were really looking forward to spending the rest of the night with her, probably with a nice hot bath and a relaxing episode of your favorite series.
Tapping the steering wheel and whistling softly to the gentle tune from the radio, the silence was broken by the sound of screeching tires and a car getting dangerously close to you. You tried to stay calm as the car sped up and soon pulled alongside you in the opposite lane. You gripped the coating layer of the steering wheel, your knuckles already turning white as you tried to slow down. You thought maybe the person was just trying to get ahead of you. But it was too late, the car rammed you on the left rear of the vehicle and threw you against the guardrail.
You came to a stop with a thud. The accident wasn't serious, but you felt a sharp pain in your side as you sat up in your seat and watched as the other driver's car came to an abrupt stop. As you tried to calm down and get your bearings, you saw a dark figure get out of the black. Panic gripped you as you realized you were dealing with "A" who had been putting pressure on you and your friend group for years and so, in a desperate attempt to get help, you searched for your phone on the passenger side to make one last call.
Your fingers trembled in fear as you dialed Spencer's number. The phone rang once, twice, and you were startled as a shadow moved into your vision. “A” came walking towards you with slow steps. When you finally heard your sister's voice on the other end, you couldn't hold back your emotions anymore.
"Emily, please... help me," you whispered in a choked voice before your words were drowned out by a loud crash and a high-pitched scream. An iron bar had hit your windshield and gave way under the pressure. "Y/n, what's wrong? Where are you?" your girlfriend shouted, her voice sounding desperate and hysterically when she heard the ominious shattering of glass.
Her brow was furrowed as she threw the history class index cards on the table, standing up immediately to make way for her panic. Spencer, Hanna and Aria stood around her, their faces marked with fear and worry. "Em, I-I don't know how much time I have left in which I can speak. A is here to get me.“
You heard the girls' voices distorted through the phone and tears welled up in your eyes as you glanced nervously out of the broken windbreak. You sobbed as she tried to stay calm on the phone, even though she was already panicking inside, not being able to shake the uneasy feeling that you were in great danger. It gnawed at her and sent a cold shiver down her spine. "I don't know where he/she/it will take me. I'm scared, Em.."
Another shattering of the window in the passenger seat made you jump and a loud scream of your name came through the phone, followed by the voices of Hanna, Aria and Spencer, who were screaming in pure fear. "Y/n, listen, we'll find you, okay? Stay calm and do everything A tells you to survive!" Aria spoke, her voice shaking.
You felt how time was running out and the shadow under the hood was crowding you. There was no time to run away, especially since the stabbing pain wouldn't allow it. You shook your head. "You won't be able to find me, just like we haven't been able to find A all these years. Caleb will track my phone and then there will be no further trace of me. I will disappear.“ you spoke carefully, unbuckling your seatbelt and moving wildly looking around - the dark figure had disappeared from your view. "Emily.. I love you," you whispered in a broken voice, a stream of tears running down your cheeks.
“I love you too, sweetie,” the person addressed immediately replied with a halting voice, swallowing the lump in her throat as she looked to Spencer for help. Her mind was racing as she tried to think of a way out of this nightmarish situation. „I will find you. I will bring you back to me. I promise you!" you nodded involuntarily to yourself, listening to the voices of your friends encouraging you and promising to save you. But you also felt your strength fading, and you knew it wouldn't be long before something would happen that would end your life.
"Spencer, Hanna, Aria.." you whispered one last time and wiped your damp cheeks. "I-I.. thank you.. for everything."
Before anyone could answer, the door to your car was thrown open and you were pulled roughly out of the vehicle by the collar of your shirt. Your senses raged with fear as you felt a strong arm drape over your middle. Your screams were muffled by a rag held over your mouth as you listened tot he desperate cries of the girls.
The world around you blurred and the darkness started to surround you. You didn't know why you had to be the victim. But you knew you had to fear for your life.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Two weeks had passed since you were kidnapped, and your friends' desperation grew with each passing day. The girls and their boyfriends had searched tirelessly for clues, but so far without success. Every day that you weren't found felt like an eternity to Emily.
Everyone had vowed not to give up, and they worked day and night to pursue every lead they could find. They searched the city and checked every place outside of Rosewood where they thought "A" might be holding you.
Then, finally, after countless hours of searching, they came across a promising lead. Mona had given them a tip that led them to an abandoned place on the outskirts of New York. It was a gloomy place, overgrown with weeds and marked by decay, but they knew they couldn't waste time.
As they walked along the small cobbled path past a house, they immediately felt the weight of the darkness that must reign there. But they did not let their resolve be deterred. Especially not Emily. She ran into the house and searched every room, every corner, every deserted hallway, her heart pounding with fear and hope. But she found nothing.
But as Caleb was about to close the closet, he heard a faint noise from somewhere below him. He followed the whimper and knelt down before feeling the carpet that had been laid out and discovered something underneath it. He picked at the corners of the rancid carpet, tossed it aside and found a hatch that led to an underground cellar. "I have something here!" he shouted and Emily immediately came around the corner, her shaking hands holding onto the hatch and immediately pulling it up.
They carefully descended the creaky ladder steps and when she entered the basement everyone froze in shock. There, in a crummy corner, you sat huddled on the floor, pale and exhausted, but alive. A hint of relief flooded through Emily as she rushed over to you and pulled you tightly into her arms. Spencer couldn't avoid rushing to her sister either.
"You found me," you whispered with a weak smile, your fingers dancing on your lover's cheek while your other hand searched for your sister's. "And we never gave up on you."
They left the scene together. Tobi had already alerted Tanner and some rescue workers, who immediately took you away to look after you. Emily breathed out, close to tears. She finally had you back, even though she thought she had long since lost you.
ᕚ---ᕘ
After your long stay in the hospital, you finally returned home. Walking back to your room felt like a rebirth after all the days of imprisonment and suffering, a return to a place of safety and peace. The air smelled familiar and the warmth of home enveloped you like a blanket of security. A familiar hug that you so desperately needed.
When you took the stairs to your room and shortly afterwards entered it, your breath caught in your throat. The gentle smell of food rubbed under your nose, there were candles everywhere that flickered gently and casted a warm light into the room. A bouquet of colorful flowers sat on your bedside table and your eyes widened in surprise as you saw how Emily had transformed the room into a romantic paradise.
"Em...that's incredible." you breathed as you fully entered it and closed the door behind you. Your heart felt warm and light as she felt the love Emily had put into this surprise. Your lover stepped out from the shadows smiling, her eyes shining with love and affection. "Welcome home, my love." She said quietly and moved closer to you to press a tender kiss on your lips.
“This is... this is beautiful,” you whispered as tears of gratitude sparkled in your eyes. She gently took you in her arms and hugged you tightly. "I wanted you to feel loved as soon as you got home." She spoke quietly and led you to your balcony, where you sat down at the small table and began to enjoy the delicious meal that Emily had lovingly prepared. You couldn't believe how much effort she had put into making you happy. Every bite was like a declaration of love and you thanked the stars for the wonderful woman who was by your side.
“Thank you for always being there for me,” you spoke carefully, ruining the silence that had settled between the two of you. "Forever, don't you remember?" she asked, pulling up her sleeve. The colorful bracelet you had made for her years ago, before your relationship, was still attached to her wrist.
You smiled and pulled her towards you with a wave of your hand to press a gentle kiss to her forehead.
After dinner you relaxed on the balcony lounger, wrapped in blankets and surrounded by stars. Emily cared for you lovingly, gently stroking your hair and whispering words of love and care to you. "I'm so grateful you're home," she spoke softly, holding you tighter against her front. "I couldn't imagine a better place to be." You replied and smiled happily, leaning your head back on her chest and closing your eyes.
In that moment, your home felt not just like a place, but like the safest and most beautiful place in the world. With Emily by your side, anything felt possible, and you knew that with her you could overcome any challenge life threw at you. All the darkness and pain you had been through could be overcome by your soulmate.

crAcked: Chapter 2
Characters: Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Alison DiLaurentis, Mike Montgomery, Byron Montgomery, Ella Montgomery, Darren Wilden, Jenna Marshall, Toby Cavanaugh, Noel Kahn, Ezra Fitz
TW: Grooming, fire, violence, death
Word Count: 1,861
Author's Note: This is a PLL fanfic that I mainly started writing for myself. It's been a hot sec since I've posted chapter 1 but I finally mustered up the motivation to write chapter 2. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
In all the chaos of Alison's funeral and that scummy cop, Wilden, vaguely threatening Aria and her friends, the small brunette had almost completely forgotten all about how Ezra Fitz had turned up at Ali's funeral. If Aria hadn't been so damn captivated by him, she might've stopped to ask herself why exactly a teacher that had never even met Alison was attending her funeral services. Sure, maybe he wanted to support his students--especially one student in particular--but still, why attend a funeral for someone you'd never even laid eyes upon?
The two of them had only had a brief moment to talk but the short conversation left Aria with more questions than answers. He'd apologized for "being a jerk" and he'd insisted that he cared about her. While she thought it was sweet, more than anything, it just left her feeling very lost.
So lost, in fact, that she hadn't even heard Spencer at first as they were sitting at the Rosewood Grill after the funeral. "Hello, earth to Aria," the brains of the group said. "Do you think Wilden knows about... You know, the...Jenna thing?" Aria let out a deep sigh and ran a hand through her hair. God, I thought we were fucking done with the Jenna thing, she thought to herself. "I don't know, guys. I mean... How could he know? We all promised to keep it a secret, after all..."
The Jenna thing, as in when the girls accidentally not so accidentally blinded Jenna Marshall, the new girl in town.
When Jenna first got to Rosewood, her long dark hair and her stunning green eyes had gotten everyone's attention. She was gorgeous and the minute Aria saw her at Noel Kahn's Halloween party, she knew Alison was threatened by her very presence. Not only was she beautiful, but she had made it clear that she was her own person who could make her own friends. Ali didn't like that, not one bit.
So when the blonde got the opportunity to get back at Jenna and her reclusive step-brother, Toby Cavanaugh, Alison wasted no time. Like so many bad memories, Aria could never truly get that night out of her head. It haunted her day and night.
You see, a little over a year ago, the five girls had been gleefully trying on clothes in Emily's bedroom. It was like any other sleepover until suddenly, Alison exclaimed "I can see you!" and raced to the window, pushing Aria out of the way. Ali insisted that she'd seen Toby in the window and that they all needed to go "teach him a lesson." Immediately, Aria had gotten a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She had tried to push back but Alison was not having it. Looking back now, she knew that she should've just stood up to Ali when she had they chance--they all should have.
Before she knew it, they were at the Cavanaughs' garage, hurling a stink bomb through the door and running away. What started out as a harmless little prank quickly turned into a raging fire that permanently blinded Jenna.
"We had the chance to stop Ali that night," Aria said regretfully. Looking at the other girls' faces, they clearly felt just as much as shame about the situation as she did. But what could they do about it now? Surely, they'd be in some sort of legal trouble if the fessed up to Wilden about it, right? And how would he even know in the first place? After all, Ali had gotten Toby to take the blame, somehow...
That night, as Aria was lying in her bed, attempting to sleep, she kept thinking about what Ezra had said to her. His words rang over and over in her head: I care about you, Aria, but this just isn't right. And as much as it felt right to her, maybe he had a point. After all, he was older than her, and wouldn't that make him wiser than her, as well? As she drifted off to sleep, she'd made up her mind. Tomorrow, she was going to nip this in the bud and transfer classes. Besides, with everything going on with her family, that weird cop, and the fact that the whole world now knew that Alison DiLaurentis was dead, she really couldn't handle anything else on her plate.
The next morning before first period, Aria went and sought out Ezra, who was grading papers at his desk. God, he looked so handsome in his tie and button-down shirt. Dammit, Aria, focus, she told herself. You need to do this. Giving a soft nock on the door frame, she said "Hey, can I come in for a second?..."
The young teacher instantly lit up when he saw her face and nodded, beckoning her to come in. Getting up from his desk, he said "Yeah, of course," and walked past her to shut the door behind her. Gingerly, she said "Oh, this will only take a second..." Besides, she didn't want to give people the wrong impression with the door shut--she was ending this and that was that. She took a paper out of her binder and handed it to him. "I'd like to transfer out of your class."
At her words, a look of obvious disappointment crossed his face, which was honestly a bit confusing. "Uh, I totally understand, but, um... I'd hate for you to have to drop the class, especially since we've already started working on our first novel. If you transferred to another class, you'd already be behind..."
Nodding, she said "Yeah, I thought about that, but... I don't know, I just feel like it's the right thing to do..." Looking up at him, he was clearly searching for words to say and he opened his mouth but then closed it again, as if he'd thought of something to say but then changed his mind. "Okay, then I'll go ahead and sign the transfer paper," he said, grabbing the pen off of his desk. "Thank you," she said softly, taking the paper from him and giving him a small smile.
Honestly, she thought he'd look a little more relieved, since he was the one who told her this...thing between them wasn't right. But then again, she couldn't deny that she was at least a little pleased that he wasn't jumping for joy at not having her in his class anymore. Maybe that that meant what he'd said was true--maybe he did really care about her.
Taking the paper back, she said "Thank you, Ez--Mr. Fitz.. I appreciate it." With that, she turned and practically bolted out of the door, sure that she'd change her mind if she stayed just one moment longer. She hurried down to the registrar to turn the paper in before she headed to math class.
However, the transfer was apparently not meant to be. During science class, a student aid had come by her class and delivered her transfer paper with a brand new bright red "DECLINED" stamp on the top of it. Shit, she thought to herself. Is the universe trying to get me to fuck up? Then again...what if this was a good sign from the universe? Perhaps a sign that maybe, just maybe, there really was a chance for her and Ezra?...
When she arrived at English and set the declination on his desk, she could've sworn she saw a small smile perk up at the edge of his lips.
Even though whatever was going on with Aria and Ezra was confusing, being at school was a million times better than being at home, that was for sure. Before Aria had gone away to Radley Iceland, she'd been keeping a huge secret for her dad. It turns out, those rumors about him sleeping with his grad students had turned out to be very true. Aria had seen it with her own eyes and she knew she'd never be able to forget that image of his father kissing another woman in the back of his car for as long as she lived.
At the time, he'd begged her to keep it a secret. Aria's father had told her that if she told her mom, their family would fall apart. She could still hear her own words in her head when she'd begrudgingly agreed to pretend as if nothing was wrong. Through her tears, she'd said to her father's face, "I don't think I'm ever going to be able to forgive you for this."
And she'd meant what she said. From the moment she'd gotten back from her sabbatical, she'd been short with her father whenever he attempted to speak with her. After all, over the past year, she'd had a lot of time to think about the situation and she'd grown incredibly resentful of her father. How could he have put all of that pressure on his own daughter? And all to keep his dirty secret of infidelity? What a fucking coward. What a fucking piss poor excuse for a father.
So on Saturday afternoon, when she arrived home from a coffee run, she didn't know what to say when her father confronted her about her attitude. "You're not very good at hiding your feelings, Aria. And your mother knows that something's up. You need to get past this."
"I need to get past this? I need to get past the fact that I caught you cheating on Mom? I need to get past the fact that you fucking begged me to keep that secret for you?" She shook her head incredulously. "You've got to be fucking joking." Her father looked hurt and taken aback by her harsh words but she couldn't hep herself. What else was she supposed to say? How could he expect her to feel any other way?
Still, she wasn't done yet. "Are you still seeing her?" she asked, her words as sharp as knife. Her father shook his head and said "What? Why would you even ask me that?"
"Answer the question, Dad. Are you still seeing her?"
He shook his head, but Aria really didn't know whether to believe him or not. "No, I am not seeing her. I told you, I'm done with that. I'm done with her. All I care about is our family." Yeah, fucking sure, she thought to herself.
"Whatever, Dad," Aria said with a heavy sigh, the feeling of exhaustion suddenly taking over her body. She couldn't keep doing this, she couldn't keep holding up all this weight on her own two shoulders. But, then again, she couldn't break her mother's heart like that--or her little brother's. She had to protect her family, that was her job. It was part of the reason why she'd done what she'd done that night...
As she started to walk away, her father said "Aria, where are you going? I'm not finished with this conversation."
"Well, I am," she snapped back. She turned away from her father and swiftly walked up the stairs. She'd be fucking damned if she let him see her cry again. She couldn't give him that kind of power over her.

Alison gonna Alison...she is who she is.
The next to the last chapter of Infatuation is here. There is...a lot going on.
We’re in the home stretch now. There is one very long chapter I’m contemplating splitting (the final chapter/s), which would give two more chapters. And an Epilogue. I’m still trying to figure out the logistics. I have so enjoyed writing Dark Alison. And even more-so...serial killer Alison and the horrid nature of the NAT Club we didn’t get in the show.
If you want to start from the beginning, peep This.

PLL rewrite question
Ever since the show ended, I've wanted to rewrite the show with it being more decisive and taking the darker route of things like NAT and villians going to jail and no A fake outs. They could have different reasons for being As minions but the girls' suspects are all a part of it. (Which gets revealed with Big A).
So, question: if Toby was a minion ( yet is friend's with Emily and Spoby still happens), first because he wants to get back at them and then because of his mother (and being in too deep), would you reveal his part of the A team
A) right after the girls get that "Toby out of the way" text in season 1
B) in 2A finale
Or C) where the show did it (3A finale)?
Just curious. Thanks.

A Kiss A Day Keeps The Doctor Away.
PSA: this is my first fanfiction in a decade, pls be gentle <3
Tumblr media
Warnings: Could be kinda smutty if you squint. Injury (nothing explicit). Dom Emily. No use of Y/N!
Context: Reader gets hurt in the field. Once Emily knew you were going to be okay, she gave you the silent treatment. No talking, no glances, nothing the whole ride home from the hospital.
As you both stand at the front door of your apartment, Emily is rummaging through her bag to find her keys. Neither of you have spoken in a few hours, both of you as stubborn as the other. After a few seconds of Emily struggling to find her keys, you huff and pull yours out, unlocking the door. You put your arm out to let her go first, but instead, she grabs your arm and drags you in.
Emily takes you to the bedroom to make sure your bandages are still okay. As she undress you slightly you get a little frustrated from the silence.
'Em, will you please say something?' you sigh.
'No.' She says, without looking up at you.
'The doctor said you have to stay off of your leg for at least a week. You're going to follow the doctors orders, correct? Or are you going to ignore them like always?' Emilys tone meant she wasn't even slightly amused.
You open your mouth to argue something back but decide against it. You choose the gaslighting route and bite your lip. 'It's really not that bad..'
'Don't.' She spits, not falling for that. 'You will follow the doctors orders.' She rewraps the bandage.
'Understood?'
The dominance radiating from Emily is intoxicating, you start to enjoy this side of her. You look up at her, as if in a trance.
'Is that an order?" you bite your lip, looking at her through your eyelashes.
She raises an eyebrow at you for a moment. Considering what way she wants to take this. 'Thats an order. You will rest until the Doctor says you're okay. Got it?'
You tap your chin in an over exaggerate way, as if you're thinking for a second. You give a cheesy grin and then adds 'Ill do it on one condition.' You take her hand and sit both of you down on the couch.
'Oh?' As she sits, she crosses her arms and stares for a moment, raising both of her eyebrows at you.
You tilt your head slightly, looking from Emilys lips to her eyes again. 'Kiss me?'
She blushes slightly at the request and clears her throat, trying to stand her ground. 'You're going to follow the doctors orders in exchange for a kiss?' She asks, making sure she heard you right.
You know what you're doing to her.
'Well, maybe a few kisses to keep me in check for the next week.' You lean closer to her, you can feel her breath on your lips. 'Its up to you.' You smile.
Emily lets out a soft sigh, fighting the urge to have you right here and now. She leans a little closer, mad at you for turning the attention away from your injury. Her mind is racing, she wanted to kiss you as much as you wanted to kiss her.
Before you knew it, her hand was resting on your neck and her lips had landed on yours. You melt into her touch, her hand placement driving you crazy. Emily notices this and deepens the kiss, leading to a moan escaping your mouth.
Your moan was enough to get Emily's blood rushing. She holds the back of your head gently, as she moves to get into a better-
'Ah shit!' you hiss, the movement from Emily causing a sharp pain from your leg.
The unexpected jump from you getting hurt pulled Emily out of the trance. She looks at you full of worry and looks down, checking your leg. 'Fuck! Are you okay? Did I hurt you? Im so sorry!' You can see her mind is going to the worst places first.
'Babe, babe, its okay. Im okay, it was nothing' You try to hide your pain and give her a small kiss. She hesitantly returns it.
'I love that you care,' you smile at her and start to play with her shirt.
Emily rolls her eyes, but she can't help but smile at your statement. 'I'll be here everyday to make sure you're not on that thing. Okay?'
The idea of your girlfriend being here everyday to give you kisses makes your heart swell. 'They do say a kiss a day keeps the Doctor away.. Or something like that.' You both laugh a little.

It was supposed to be a regular Tuesday. That’s all.
You hadn’t intended any for this. The pain, the darkness, the silent, deadly suspension between life and death. The cold isolation from everything and everyone you loved—from her.
It just was supposed to be a regular fucking Tuesday. Where did it go wrong?
**
You couldn’t catch your breath; your lungs were on fire and pumping over time from the relentless running, running, running. Sweat matted the hair to your forehead and neck while your ponytail lashed at the wind and your arms and legs muscles screamed from the exertion. You didn’t feel it, though, not with the adrenaline and anger coursing through your bloodstream and the news that a 7-year-old girl’s life was hanging by a thread in a hospital bed and five more lay dead in the morgue because of the motherfucker.
You couldn’t stop. You knew if you did, he would disappear from your radar only to pop up 2-3 years later with the flashing headlines of another murder taunting and screaming at you from a pixelated screen for letting him get away.
So you kept running and running and running. Down street after street, Derek and Emily running perpendicular to you, and the rest of the team split into two cars coming from other directions.
Hotch was giving you orders, and the comms line was buzzing with information from the rest of the team as they tried to predict which direction he would turn next.
But you didn’t hear any of it; it was all white noise, with your surroundings blurring into flashing colors. You were the closest to him. So close you could nearly reach out and touch his shirt collar. So you gritted your teeth into near pain and pushed your tired limbs to go just a little farther, just a little faster.
Your lungs screamed because you hardly had any breath left to give, but you didn’t care—you nearly had him dammit.
Just. A. Little. Farther. And at the last second, without even thinking of it, without feeling a thing… you jumped. Careening toward him, clasping around his torso with an iron grip, you sent both yourself and the unsub flying in a mass of limbs through the street.
Your body smashed against the gravel and rolled with your head slamming into the concrete…but you never let go because you had him dammit. And you didn’t feel a thing.
**
“Y/n!!”
“Y/n! Hey, wake up!”
You jolted awake and flinched away from the warm hand on your already burning body. You couldn’t see a damn thing in the dark, and the air wasn’t reaching your lungs because part of your exhausted mind thought you were still back there—in the dream that wasn’t a dream but a faster and more truthfully terrifying version of the reality you faced the day before.
The sheets were becoming twisting, confining vines around your legs. You still couldn’t breathe right, and the shadows in your room were morphing into ghouls and demons that only caused the sweat on your body to run cold with quickening fear.
Just as you were making up your mind to run, a light flicked on, and a familiar face came into your hazy vision.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. It’s me, it’s Emily.”
Briefly, you looked at her with trepidation before your mind finally caught up with you, and your crumpled look of fear and confusion relaxed.
“Em.” Sighing, you fell back into your sweat-soaked pillow and closed your eyes while the first breath since waking up eased into your tired lungs.
Emily lightly brushed the matted hair from your forehead and looked at you with concern and solemnity. Because she knew this would come, had learned to expect it not just with you but herself also. After years of fighting the flesh and blood monsters, the imaginary ones would come to take their place until those two could be conquered.
“Deep breaths, angel. That one was rough,” she said while rubbing your arm gently. She would never admit it to you, but it scared her to see you like this.
Your eyes were still closed to try and stop your vision from spinning, but you could hear the soft tremor in her voice. “Hmm, oh, I don’t know. I give it a 4—you pulled me out of it pretty quickly, huh?”
“You still haven’t caught your breath, though, nor opened your eyes.”
At that you did look at her. Slowly, you let your eyes wander over her face: the telltale wrinkle of worry between her brows, the adorable bed hair that she would never stop arguing with you about how it is, in fact, not cute; the soft, flushed cheeks that you can’t help but want to kiss every second of the day; those completely kissable lips that are pressed into a frown; and finally, the endlessly beautiful dark brown eyes that could hold a thousand emotions at once and whose depths you could happily become transfixed by and lost in for eternity.
You looked at her with a familiar comfort and love that is as old as time itself. The kind of love that could cross time and space to reach two people who will continually find one another in every lifetime, in every universe.
“I’m okay, Em. I’m here with you, so I’m okay.” You reached for her hand, kissed her palm, and placed it against your chest so she could feel for herself.
Emily laid back down next to you and let her hand feel the steadying of your heartbeat. Moving her eyes over the plains of your face, she still marveled at how beautiful, strong, and human you were. After nearly two years together, she still was amazed at how much she loved you, at how you could continually make her feel like the most important person in the entire world, at how alive and human you could make her feel after years of feeling numb and cold to the world because of her demons.
“You’re okay. We’re both okay,” she said quietly. Without taking her eyes off of you, she turned off the lamp and pulled you closer to her.
“I’m still sweaty–”
“I don’t care. Let me hold you, please.”
“Okay, Em.”
She could feel you smiling against her neck, and she kissed the top of your head before burying her nose in your hair. Sighing in relief, she let herself be lulled back asleep by your soft breathing, because you were okay.
Right?
**
Later that morning.
“I still think you should go in—at least to get some stronger painkillers than fucking ibuprofen.”
“Emily, I’m fine,” you sighed in exasperation. You knew her worrying would only increase; it always does for either of you when something like this happens. “I got checked out yesterday, remember? And the headache will pass. It went away yesterday, and it’s going to go away today. Just give the pills time to work.”
You could see your words weren’t getting through to her with the way she was watching you like you would drop dead right in front of her. Her fingers were fidgeting already, and you knew she was fighting with herself not to start biting them.
Grabbing her hand, you rubbed soothing circles into her palm. “If it gets worse, I’ll tell you and will go, kay?”
Emily stared at you for five more seconds, letting the colors of your eyes, the feeling of your hand in hers, and your soft smile ease the stuttering, painful feeling in her chest before giving in. She pulled you back into her embrace, leaned back into the couch with you, and exhaled into your shoulder. “Okay…”
**
Five, ten, fifteen minutes into the movie that was playing, you could still feel her eyes on you—watching you for any signs of pain or discomfort. And to be honest, you could feel the headache creeping into unbearability and part of you hated both the headache and your body for falling out of your control.
The stabbing pain escalated to explosions across the back of your brain, the characters on the TV blurred in your failing vision, and you could feel the dizziness slowly clouding your senses.
“Alright, fine, let’s go.”
Emily’s breath hitched because you are always an inch more stubborn than she is, and if you're giving in, then it’s real this time, and no matter how many times you get hurt during a case, she will never be ready for it.
Slowly exhaling, she whispered, “I’ll get the keys and let the hospital know we’re coming,” because to say it any louder is like solidifying your pain into reality.
She lightly kissed your forehead and went to the kitchen to call the closest ER. You could hear her talking in the other room, and even that was becoming increasingly unbearable as the headache worsened.
Breathing in unsteady but measured breaths, you slowly stood and walked to the foyer where your shoes were, and just as Emily came out of the kitchen, you glanced up at her, and time slowed.
The explosive headache pain swallowed your mind, and black dots sporadically burst into your vision. You could feel the strength leaving your muscles, the sound of her voice escaping your ears, and for the first time since waking from your nightmare earlier that morning, you were terrified again. Your body felt so weightless and heavy at the same time—like you might fall through the floor or float up into space without a single tether to your life with Emily.
Slowly, you watched your hand limply reach out to her before the growing black dots finally swallowed your vision, and the last thing you saw was the look of terror on Emily’s face as she dropped her phone, screamed something you couldn’t hear, and ran to catch your body before it fell to the floor.

Thoughts on unsub spencer reid fics?
Hi! I'm not sure if you wanted more of a general answer or meant this as a headcanon or gen request, so I'm just going to go purely on vibes and answer this as a question.
Spencer as an Unsub - Thoughts
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: Anything negative said here is absolutely not an insult towards any specific writer or fic. I don't really read unsub Reid fics, due to facts I'm about to get into, so I'm really not knowledgeable enough to be throwing shade 💀 This is personal opinion!
I personally would need a lot of convincing to believe in an "unsub" Spencer Reid.
In Criminal Minds, it's clear from very early into the show that Spencer is very empathetic with certain unsubs. The entire team have their own types of cases that they get more personally involved in (Morgan and cases involving child victims, JJ and apparent suicides, Emily and quote unquote battered women cases) but Spencer is the only one whose personal attachment to cases leaves him empathising with the unsub instead of the victim.
He's the only member of the team who could have seen himself committing violent acts the way unsubs do had his life veered down a different path. And, based on Spencer's background and the psychology of the show, he's probably right to be concerned.
He's a white male, at the peak of the show in his mid to late thirties, with a background of abuse and a family history of mental illness. By season four, we know he's highly skilled with a gun, and by season 12/13, we see that he can be pushed to violence when he is at the very edge of his limitations.
And then they make his character so intrinsically moral that you never question him ever again.
To a certain extent, Criminal Minds is about the perpetual cycles of abuse that human kind can inflict upon itself. Many of the unsubs were once victims, some of them perhaps still are. The heroes of the story are characters who have been able to break the cycle.
Spencer is neglected as a child. He has an absent father abandon him, a mother with schizophrenia who does physically beat him when she is having an episode. He is bullied heavily in school for his high IQ and his lack of social skills. But he is shown to deeply care for him mother and empathise with her deeply instead of coming to resent her like many of the unsubs in that situation. He resents his father, for sure, but instead turns that resentment into drive, leading him to "just keep getting more PhDs." And his personal experiences with bullying allow him to empathise with the unsubs that have gone through similar circumstances.
So I don't think canonically, Spencer is ever in danger of becoming an unsub. He deeply cares about the world and the people around him, and whilst he does have a kill count on the show, he either expresses deep remorse at having to oull the trigger, or it is in the best interest for everyone involved.
Basically, all that to say: I think Unsub Spencer Reid in fanfiction has to be written incredibly carefully, or it runs the risk of being very out of character. To be clear, I'm not too bothered about characters being slightly out of character in fics because it happens. I've probably written a lot of stuff where Spencer is OOC, too. And that's fine.
I do kind of draw the line at grabbing random unsub traits from the show and giving them to Spencer for a fic. For example, Spencer would never end up as a sexual sadist. He probably wouldn't be a spree killer, either. Not that anyone wants my writing advice, but if you're writing an unsub Spencer fic, think about his background and the profiles they generally give for the kind of signature/ crimes you're about to give him.
If this was a request, I apologise for the misunderstanding. But here's a little hint at what I might do with a general "unsub Reid" request.
☆ It would most likely take place after the events of Season 12/13.
☆ It's angst or nothing.
☆ The basic plot: Reid's headaches come back after taking a blow in the field. He tries seeking help for it but can't find any relief. On his next case, because of his chronic pain, he makes a mistake that gets his teammate, the reader, shot. The unsub escapes, but the reader falls into a coma. When it looks like reader is not going to pull through, he tracks down the unsub and beats his to death after a brawl. Massive overkill. The reader pulls through that night, and he feels no guilt for getting that monster off the street. But each time the readers health takes a turn, or they require a new surgery, he is compelled to go back out there and track down and kill another serial killer until the reader finally wakes up.
☆ I don't think it'd be very well received because there would be no morally grey smut. This is some tragic angst shit only, lmao.
☆ please don't put a request for this in my inbox. If I feel like writing it later, I might, I don't have the brain power right now, though 💀
That's all I've got right now, but I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on unsub Reid :)

Emily Prentiss - The littlest hero
Part II
Tumblr media
⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️ This one-shot includes the topics of abuse, trauma, child neglecting, punishments and the plots are presented. If this triggers you too easily or you just can´t handle the subject, I urge you NOT to read this work. I am NOT embellishing this topic under any circumstance. Read at your own risk.
ᕚ---ᕘ
Exhausted, Emily headed towards the kitchen. The day started early for her, it was going to be a long day at work and she just wanted to spend the day at home. Happy to have a refreshing hot cup of coffee, he walked past a room and heard a quiet murmur through the door.
She carefully went to the door, placed her ear against the ajar door and listened. That was not really the special agent's style, but she had been through it many times over the last few years. She could hear you from inside, but you did not speak clear sentences, just fragments and could clearly hear the word "dad" pronounced several times. Then she realized that you had to experience another difficult dream.
She poked her head through the crack as she heard you getting more nervous and louder. Nightmares like that were no joke and when you suddenly started calling for her name in your sleep, she had to come to you. Your cries became more and more irritated and desperate. By now tears were streaming down your face too and it was hard for her to imagine the hell you had to go through in your past.
You tossed and turned restlessly in your bed, sweat glistening thickly on your forehead. With quick steps, Emily bridged the last few meters between her and you. She gently shook your shoulders, "Y/n, sweetie. Wake up!" you jumped up, breathing shallowly and quickly, trying to find your bearings in the darkened room you were laying in. "You are safe, I am here."
A hand placed itself on your chest, feeling your heartbeat drilling into it. You nodded, your gaze wandering around the room disoriented before your sight stopped at Emily´s face reliefed. "Your father can not hurt you anymore. It is all good," the black-haired woman sat on the edge of the bed, her hand still firmly on your chest. "That was just a nightmare."
Exhausted and looking for support, you let yourself sink into her protective embrace and were glad that she was with you now. "Do you want to talk about it?" she asked, brushing through your silky hair. You silently raised your shoulders and let them fall again. "No, I do not know."
You looked over at the window. The first rays of sunlight penetrated through the shutters into your pink room and you realized she must have just gotten up from her own sleep- her hair messy while her tired features were soft and relaxed. The sight alone made the storm inside you slowly subside.
You were safe. You had always been safe since you came into the care of the black-haired woman. It was just a dream of your past that you did not seem to push aside as quickly as you wanted. " That is okay, you do not have to talk about it," she spoke softly and began to move into the tiny space under your duvet, but rested her head on her hand and looked at the little penguins skiing on your pajamas. You nodded and pushed yourself into the far corner of your princess bed to make more room for her.
Emily knew nightmares, there was hardly a night where you did not get any and slept peacefully, but you both worked on it with a psychologist. The dreams were actually always just about your father or the white wardrobe. Depending on what your subconscious was processing, it tormented you even in your own childhood dreams.
And today was an especially hard night. Your father's funeral was yesterday and you could hardly stand the thought of saying goodbye to your father. In your eyes, he deserved to finally die. You had discussed it openly with your adoptive mother and she had decided with you that you had no obligation to be seen at his funeral. It would probably cause you more pain and reopen old wounds than it would provide you with any kind of release.
You wanted nothing more to do with your father and your past. You finally wanted to live and arrive, in the here and now, without being constantly chased by the ghosts of the past. You needed time to process all of this and come to terms with it. It would take time, after all it was a long-term trauma, but your new life together with Emily taught you courage.
After a few minutes of silence, in which you enjoyed her closeness and your heart calmed down, you spoke up again. "Can you maybe sleep with me today?" You asked sheepishly and smiled, watching as Emily began to grin mischievously.
She graced your stomach with one finger, before dropping down and starting to tickle you like crazy. Your laughter lit up the entire apartment in a cheerful and happy atmosphere as you loudly tried to get out of her grasp. The nightmare disappearing from your memory.
"There is no more sleeping here, princess. It is time for school, math is calling."

Criminal Mind Fanfic
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x Fem!Reader
Synopsis: You are an FBI agent with a past and you were about to enter the BAU.
Trigger warning: BAU stuff like killing, violence, assault, mention of rape and suicide. I tried not to get too graphic with the decription
Note: This is a slow burn so I hope you can bare with me. I am trying to make it as short as possible. ( I actually wrote this note when I am writing the first chapter and now I have 8 chapters on my draft sooooooooo)
I know that it is a long read but I tried to make each chapter as interesting as possible by adding some case. And as a reward here is a smiling Thomas Gibson
Tumblr media
You can view other chapters on Wattpad
Master list:
Chapter 1
You arrived at the BAU one hour earlier. No one was there yet so you roam around the office to make yourself busy, trying not to touch anything. You don’t want to evade any privacy or think that you were snooping even before you get the job.
As you roam around you study each of the desk. There is a desk with a lot of books and science fiction stuff. The desk was tidy but not organize. You know that this is a guy in his late 20s. He was hired by the FBI not because of his strength but his intelligence.
The next table was easier to identify because of a family picture on the table. It was the blonde woman who is an FBI and her husband? You figure that he is a cop. You were about to go to the next table when one of the office at the top of the stairs open.
“Can I help you?” A man says with a soft voice. He is fit, tall and handsome. You can see a hint of tiredness in his eyes. Or was it sadness? All you know is that he havent left his office since yesterday. You got a glimpse of the name tag on the door. It says Aaron.
“Mr. Aaron Hotchner, Hi I am [Y/N/L].” You hurriedly went upstair and held out your hand. “Nice to meet you sir”
He shakes your hand and spoke “You too. But you were early, our meeting was not supposed to be in an hour. Please come in” He opened the door.
When you enter the room you see some paper works. He go to one end of the table and he asked you to sit on another.
He read your file. You know that half of it are true but the other half? Its only your previous boss knows.
“This is a good recommendation that you’ve got. However, your experience with the bureau is… short. I am not sure if it can be sufficient with what we need right now.” He said while he continue reading your resume. You can see the hesitation on his face.
“I do understand that you wanted to hire someone who has experience. But I know that I can be of help with you here, sir. I can be of help so you dont have to pull all this all nighter and spend the rest of your time with your son.” You told him. He looked at you intently. You knew that he was not convinced but both of you also know that this interview is just a formality. Hotchner does not want to hire anyone through nepotism. And this scenario reminds him of how Emily Prentiss started in BAU and he is afraid that the history will repeat it self
He sighed and put the folder down. “ I want to be honest with you,” he said in a low serious voice. “I dont know who you are but everyone on the higher ups wanted me to hire you. But this job. What we do, its important and dangerous and if I cannot trust you or you lacking the experience you might be endangering us all”
“Then try me.” You said, sighing in between smile. “If my experience is not enough for you then put me on the field so I can show you what I can do. I know that I have all these backers but I also studied behavioral science and profiling so I know what I am doing. I pass my exam here in Quantico so I am qualified as any of the agents here. I am top of my class. ” You said with conviction. A knock on the door interrupted your meeting. The door opens and a bubbly blonde open the door. You figure out that she was not the same kind of agent that you are.
“I’m sorry, sir but the Texas PD called and they need our help.” She said.
“Thank you, Garcia. Tell everyone to meet at the conference room.” He said.
“Yes, sir.” She said then closed the door.
“I hope you have your travel bag with you. Follow me please.” He stand up and headed to the door.
We arrived at the conference room and everyone fell silent and looked at us.
“Everyone this is [Y/N]. She will be part of the team “Probationally”.” Hotchner Said emphasizing the probationally.
He starts introducing everyone. Reid, the guy with all the book, Jennifer, the woman with a kid and cop husband, Penelope, the girl who knocks at the Hotchner’s door, Morgan and Rossi.
They were talking about a mass shooting in Texas but they cannot find the shooter.
“An L.D.S.K. “Reid said as a matter of fact.
“What is L.D.S.K?” You asked.
“Long distance serial killer” Reid answers.
“A sniper?” You asked. Hotchner click the remote and shows the victims photo.
“Most likely yes. It seems that the victims were being assassinated. The shooter is from a high a place and shot in the victims in the head and the trajectory of the bullet is in downward position” Hotchner explained. Great! You thought. The last thing you need is a case related to your past
“We need to go to texas. wheels up in 30.” Hotchner added and then he headed out of the conference room.
Everyone started to stand up and followed hotchner. You stayed because you thought of something but Morgan interrupted your thought.
“Hey newbie, you coming?” He said,
“Yes, yes.” You said absentmindedly.
You arrived at the jet. Good thing that your previous boss told you to ready a travel bag because this assignment requires a lot of traveling. Derek and Reid are already seated beside each other, in-front of them is JJ. So you seated at the long couch beside them. Rossi and hotchner was seated at the other side of the plane. The screen opens and Garcia was at the monitor. Rossi and hotchner both stand up and join your area. Rossi seated beside you and hotchner seated on the armrest beside Rossi.
They started to discuss about the victimology. 2 of the victims are male both from a different age group and industry.
“I remember one of our L.D.S.K unsub. The nurse. He would use his car to hide himself and shoot his victim.” Morgan suggested
“Yes but he was not aiming for the head. He was only aiming for the stomach. And he was shooting as many victims as he could so he can save them. But this new unsub kills all the victim.” Reid said.
“Of course you remember it correctly. This is were you got your gun right, out of hotch pity because you saves his life.” Morgan teasing.
“I was able to pass my exam after that so I earned it fair and square” Reid answered.
“Alright, how about you [Y/N] do you have your gun. If not, I think Reid’s whistle is around here somewhere. “Morgan teases and started looking around
“She has a perfect score on her qualifying exam. She has the license to use any kind of guns” Hotchner said. You glance at him and you saw that he was looking at you. Everyone fell silent so try to join the quip.
“I can teach you when we comeback” You told Reid with a smile. “ But my tip is to Aim, shoot and follow thru.”
“Thats the same tip from hotch.” You look at hotchner and he was still looking at you intently so you smiled at him. To stop the awkwardness you address garcia,
“Garcia, do you know the height of the victim?”
“Not yet but I will send you the details as soon as I got the ME.” Penelope responded,
“And can you please check the trajectory of the bullet. Can they Identify the angle?” You added
“For what?” JJ asked,
“To find where the shooter was located during the shooting. We can narrow down the buildings and floors to search.” Rossi answered JJ. “That was impressive [Y/N]. You seems to know a lot about balistc.”
“Yeah” You answered.
“Rossi, [Y/N] and Reid, go to the hospital and check the bodies, you can get your answers there. Morgan, JJ go to the lasted crime scene. I will meet at the texas pd.” Hotchner ordered. They all go back to their seat. You read your case file again and analyze the crime scene.
“Newbie, what’s your story” Morgan asked you.
“What do you mean?” You answered peaking from the case file.
“What do you do before you join the BAU?” He asked, everyone was waiting for you to answer. Even Hotchner put down his case file to listen.
Of course you cannot tell them who you really are. It is confidential and they might not understand even if you tell them. So just tell them all the half truth on your resume. You study behavioral science and profiling in quantico. At the same time you do trainings to be a field agent. You have a short stint as an undercover agent and then you asked to be transferred to BAU to pursue your dream job and become a profiler.
“Why is it that your dream job is to become a profiler? It seems rare to find someone with that dream.” JJ asked.
“Because I can read people easily like an open book. For instance, you are married with 2 kids. You grew up in a farm and based on your body built you are athletic. When we are waiting for take off, you ere fidgeting your phone, contemplating whether to call or not but you opted to text. I concur that you had a fight with your husband and you just inform him that you were on the plane and might not be home tonight. I can go on but I dont want to be rude. But I guess you got my point.” You said apologetically.
“Thats amazing,” JJ said still in shock.
“I know, but it seems that I cannot read 100% of who they are and it still puzzles me how they can kill so many people. Do they have remorse or do they enjoy it so much. All I know is that there are alot of things that you can learn with the human behaviour.” You said passionately.
“I hope you’ll get what you needed here. “ JJ said warmly.
“Thanks” you answered,
The plane landed in Texas. When you embarked to the tarmac you see 3 cars waiting for you. You follow Reid and Rossi to the hospital.
At the hospital you confirmed that the unsub did the shooting at a high place. Approximately 18 floors. You asked garcia if there are building like that in a 10 mile radius and she confirm that there are 17 buildings. you were able to narrow it down because of the position of the victim when it falls. He was laying on his back so most likely he was facing the direction of the shooter.
You call Hotch and mentioned this to him. He asked Morgan and JJ to join you so that you can check floors 17 to 19.
You were able to find the bullet casing on the 18th floor and handed them with the ballistic team. Hotch asked you all to go back to the station to round up your findings.
On the way Garcia was able to find the connection on the victims. They were a member of robbers who were responsible on robbing a bank in the early 90’s. The statue of limitation was about to expire soon and they can now used the marked money that they were able to rob during that time. The team figures that one of the member was trying to eliminate the others to have all the share by themselves. There are still 3 members alive.
The team was able to profile the suspect. Male in their late 40s early 50s. Previous member of a gang. Not really an anti social but does not have any committed relationship in the past years.
The team investigated the bank robbery to identify the other suspect. You spent almost the whole day and still does not got anything. Hotch told everyone to go back to the hotel take a rest and start fresh tomorrow.
You were walking at the corridor when Hotch called you. You glance back and said “What’s up?”
“You did great a while ago at the building. You were able to identify the crime scene. It seems to me that you really know a lot with regards to guns and ballistic but it does not show in your resume.”
“It was just a hobby.” You said defensively. “I also read alot of cases before thats why I knew how to examine medical reports. And I guess watching alot of criminal drama also do good.” You told him smiling. Hotchner just nod but still examining you.
“Sure. Rest up and have a good night.” He bid you good night and open his door. You make way to your own room and started to settle in.
The next morning you all reconvene at the station. This time you made the connection. You were separated in 3 teams and went to each suspects house. All of them was out. On the 2 of the suspect you saw letters asking them to meet at the nearby plaza but the other one did not. Now you knew who is the unsub. Hotchner asked everyone to meet there but before you go with Hotchner to the car you realized something.
“Hotchner, wait!” Hotch glance back at you, holding the car door.
“I dont think that the unsub will be at the meeting place. If he used a sniper before, I bet he will also use one here. He will hunt both of them down.”
“You’re right!” He get his phone and dialed Garcia.
“How can I help you today lovely people.” Garcia greeted at the other side of the phone.
“Garcia, can you find a building near the park. around 10mile radius.”
“There are several, ma’am.”
“How about High rise building with atleast 18 floor?” Hotchner asked.
“There are 7 but there is one building with exactly 18 floors and the highest floor is currently renovated. I will send you the address.”
“Thank you!” You and Hotchner both shouted. You go in the car. Reid was waiting for you. While driving you called everyone and mentioned your finding. You will go to the building while the rest will go to the park. Hotchner also asked back up. While on the way you saw a taller building, atleast 20 floors high. You ask Hotchner to stop.
“Stop the car!” You shouted.
“Why did you find anything?” Hotchner asked.
“I am about to. You go to that building that garcia mentioned. I will check something here.” You said in a hurry. You were about to go down. When Hotchner asked you to stop.
“I did not authorized you to do any of this unless you tell me why. Why do you need to go to that building. What is the connection to the case?”
“I cannot tell you just yet. But I can promise you that I can help. just please trust me on this. If I screw up then fire me right here. Just trust me please.” But you know he will not do that so you immediately grab the black bag you stash under the seat and jump out the car. You heard the car go away but you did not look back.
You run in the building and asked the guard that you need to go to the roof. You show your FBI ID badge and they escort you immediately. When you were at the last floor you asked the guard to stay put and dont approach the rooftop until you said so.
When you are at the rooftop, you open your bag. Inside is your sniper. Which you always bring anywhere with you. What was not added in your resume is that you were a trained sniper of the FBI. You are one of the best there is. You assemble the gun and insert some bullets.
You position your gun and look into the scope to locate the building that Garcia mentioned. You scan the top floor and saw the UnSub. He was preparing to shoot. You scan the park and saw the target and you also saw Morgan, JJ and Rossi approaching the 2 targets. When suddenly each of the swat team started falling down. You knew that the unsub was shooting. Before anything else, you point your gun to the unsub. You can see him smiling. And with your instinct you pull the trigger. It hit the unsub in the head. You saw his gun fall on the ground when he lose grip and fell down. Your heart was raising. This is the first time that you use your sniper after that unfortunate event. You were still looking at the scope when you saw Hotchner go to the window trying to find the one who shoot the unsub but you know he will not find you because you are a few miles away that the naked eye cannot see anymore. You look at him at scope for a while. Trying to read his facial expression. You know that he knew you were the one who did this so you know that he was angry at you. But when you look intently at his face, it was not anger, but rather worry that was registering in his face. He was scanning every single building around but to no avail. He frowned then you saw Reid joined him. He talked to Hotchner. Based on his lip movement you read that the others are fine and the officer that was hit was not critical. You smiled and put away your gun.
You retrieve the bullet casing and put it on your pocket. You went down and join the team at the park.
When JJ see you she was surprised.
“I thought you were with Hotch and Reid at the building where the UnSub is?” JJ asked
“Something happened thats why we have to split. How’s everyone? “ you answered her
“Everyone was fine. Some of the SWAT Team got shot as we approached the target but there were graze, I dont think the UnSub has any intention to kill them.” Morgan answered.
“And what will happened to the robbers?” You asked him
“The statue of limitation will not expire until tomorrow so they can still be arrested.” Morgan answered. You smiled.
“Thats great.” You know they have questions. Its not normal that the boss will let someone alone especially during they apprehension of the suspect. And the bag that you carry. You look more suspicious than any unsub there is. But you know that this is your last day. so you do not care anymore.
When you arrived at the station you saw Hotchner. He was shocked for a second to see you and is that a hint of relief? No, you must be imagining. And in a split second his face become serious again. He raised on eyebrow and then look away. You know that you were fired the moment you left that car. So you just approached him holding your badge.
“Sir,” You said in a low voice. When he turn around you stretched your arm, offering him your badge. He just raised his eyebrow again at the sight of the badge then he look at you
“We will talk when we arrive in Quantico.” He said then turn back to whatever he was doing. You retrieve your hand and walk away, joining the rest of the team.
The plain ride was excruciating. Hotchner was quiet and pretending you did not exist. The rest was minding also there own business. So you just lay down on the couch and tried to snooze all the noises. You cannot believe that you were able to screw your dream job.

Author's Note: This is a PLL fanfic that I mainly started writing for myself. I'm a die hard PLL fan but, like a lot of other people, I was thoroughly disappointed with a lot of their choices so I decided to try my hand at writing what I wanted to happen in the story. I've never written fanfic, as most of my writing experience has been via Tumblr rp's but I thought I'd give this a try!
Tumblr media
September 1st, 2009. That was a night that Aria Montgomery would never forget, not for as long as she lived. That was the night that everything had changed.
It’d be silly to ever think that she could erase those memories from her brain, so she didn’t even try. Instead, she had decided to accept it–after all, what else was there to do? Things had happened–things that were never supposed to happen. Yet, the events of that September night had changed everything. As Lady Macbeth famously said, “What is done cannot be undone.”
By sunrise, the whole town of Rosewood knew that blonde bombshell queen bee Alison DiLaurentis was missing and nothing would ever be the same again.
Even now, after a year had passed, Aria was still unsure about how she felt about the entire situation. As she unpacked her boxes and placed her books back in their rightful place, she thought about everything that had happened and the impact her choices had had upon everyone.
One thing was for certain–she was grateful to be back in her own bedroom. The warm, dark wood of her bedroom floor and bed frame were certainly much cozier than the cold, white walls she had grown accustomed to this past year. It felt good to be back at home again.
Of course, to the outside world, she’d been away on a special study abroad program in Iceland this past year, an incredible opportunity that had happened to arise in Aria’s time of need. Her little brother, Mike, had even agreed to try to keep her Facebook page updated with beautiful pictures of the stunning fjords of Reykjavik. However, the truth of Aria’s whereabouts were much more…complicated, per se, than a study abroad trip to Iceland.
She’d spent this past year locked away hiding away in Radley Medical Center, trying to repair her fragmented mental state. After September 1st, it hadn’t taken very long at all for her parents, Byron and Ella, to figure out that her best friend’s friend’s disappearance had taken a serious toll on her mental health. As soon as the “MISSING PERSON” fliers went up, Aria just about lost it. After attempting to take her own life near the end of September 2009, her parents felt as if they had no other choice but to try and get her the help that she needed.
However, in the town of Rosewood, being “mentally ill” was not acceptable, or even relatable–sure, everyone had their own struggles but you kept that quiet and to yourself. It was the “polite” thing to do. Besides, after Aria had woken up in a hospital room, realizing her attempt had been unsuccessful, she couldn’t face her friends–hell, it was nearly impossible to face her own family, especially her little brother. Therefore, it was decided: Aria would go to Radley Medical Center in order to heal, and no one would ever know. To the outside world, she’d be experiencing an incredible opportunity overseas in Iceland and none would be the wiser.
It was quite the ruse and honestly, her parents had been a little unsure about the entire thing. Sure, people who were open about their family problems were judged harshly in Rosewood but who even cared about petty scrutiny and gossip if their daughter wasn’t okay? But it was Aria that had begged her parents to keep the truth a secret, only letting the principal of Rosewood High School know what was actually going on so she could continue her studies.
Now, after nearly twelve straight months of intensive therapy and “rest,” Aria was ready to return to the real world of Rosewood and continue on with her life. Still, the night of September 1st, 2009 still haunted her–more than anyone would ever know.
In just a few weeks–and still, years from now–the town of Rosewood would be full of gossip: gossip about a particularly handsome new teacher and his apparent penchant for underage girls. Yes, by now, it’s no secret that Ezra Fitz had been taken with Aria Montgomery when they first met at the Hollis Pub the day before school started. However, what a lot of people don’t mention is how Ezra was able to manipulate his way into Aria’s life and strike when she was most vulnerable.
You’ll come to find very soon that everyone in the town of Rosewood has flaws and secrets–absolutely everyone. But some things are more forgivable than others. And what was unconditionally unforgivable was a grown man preying on the innocent young girls of Rosewood High. Ezra had zeroed in on Aria and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce.
After all, Ezra was already well aware of Aria’s own secret–well, at least one of them. You see, during his junior and senior year at Hollis, he had heard rumors about Professor Montgomery and one of his grad students. Now, Ezra didn’t usually listen to gossip–he believed himself to be above all of that. However, it had become rather difficult to simply ignore the rumors about a professor taking advantage of one of his students. Though he’d never actually had a class with Professor Montgomery, he knew of him and figured that the rumors were probably true.
Once he put two and two together–that Aria was the daughter of Bryon Montgomery–he knew that he had an in. He was aware that it was rather ironic. But this was different, he told himself. Ezra knew she was in a susceptible position–she needed guidance, someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on. That’s what Ezra told himself and that’s what he set out to do. Truthfully, as cunning as she was, Aria never stood a chance against someone so sinister.
However, that didn’t mean that Aria didn’t have her own ammunition. Sure, her family was holding on by a thread–but the other girls had their own secrets, too. They always had. Luckily, Aria had always been incredibly observant. Though she could certainly have her moments of outspokenness, she also knew how to sit back and listen. One could learn a lot of information when they were simply listening.
Take Hanna Marin, for example. Poor little Hefty Hanna–Aria had always detested that nickname that Alison had placed upon Hanna’s head. It was cruel and unnecessary. But Alison was the queen bee and whatever she said simply…was. However, anyone with eyes could see the toll that it took on Hanna. Aria remembered that one time, during a sleepover, the girls had been enjoying chick flicks and ice cream. They had been watching Mean Girls, one of Alison’s favorites. Aria always assumed it was because she viewed herself as Regina George.
Just before the Burn Book fight scene started–arguably one of the best scenes in the film–Hanna had gotten up to go to the bathroom. Aria thought it a bit odd but continued watching and laughing along with the other girls. But the minutes continued to pass and Hanna still wasn’t back. Curious, Aria mentioned checking on Hanna and got up off the couch and headed to the bathroom, her feet padding on the hardwood floor. When she got to the bathroom door, the unmistakable sounds of retching came from the other side of the door. Aria gave a small knock on the door. “Hanna?... Are you okay?” Hanna cleared her throat and quickly said “Yeah, I’m fine. I’ll be right out.”
Sure, Aria probably should’ve said something about it–but what could she say? Hanna was clearly embarrassed, you could hear it in her voice. Wouldn’t it just make it worse to question her about it? Aria tried to tell herself that maybe Hanna’s stomach had just been acting up but deep down, she knew the truth. She knew how Alison made Hanna feel like shit about her body–honestly, it wasn’t very surprising that Hanna would attempt to find comfort in bingeing and purging. It made Aria’s heart sink but what else could she do?
As far as Spencer and Emily went, their secrets weren’t too difficult to figure out, either. Really, all you had to do was have eyes. The way Spencer so desperately wanted to be like her older sister, Melissa, was obvious to everyone. On top of that, the brains of their group suddenly seemed to become a brainless lovestruck girl whenever her sister’s skeezy boyfriend, Ian, walked into the room. He was not only her field hockey coach but, as everyone figured, most likely her future brother-in-law as well. However, no one could deny the brunette’s heart eyes whenever Ian cracked a subpar joke.
Emily was somehow even more obvious. Between the odd comments from Alison and the way you could practically feel Emily’s giddiness radiating from her every time the blonde bombshell simply spoke, it was clear to anyone with a brain that Emily was in love with Alison. Not to mention the time that Aria had accidentally overheard one of their conversations during another infamous sleepover. She’d forgotten her phone in Emily’s room and when she was approaching the doorway, she overheard the distinct sing-song sweetness of Alison’s voice. It was the voice she used whenever she really, really wanted something
“Look, Em, I’m sorry that I was so mean to you the other day in the locker room. I didn’t mean to snap at you, I just… I just don’t feel…that way. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t still kiss–but only if you want to, of course.”
Alison’s voice was sugary sweet and full of softness–god, she was such a manipulative bitch. Don’t fall for it, Em, Aria thought to herself. But then, seconds later, Aria could hear the undeniable sounds of lips locking, so she slipped back downstairs and never told another soul.
Truth be told, Aria was mildly horrified at the state of her friend group when she returned to Rosewood High. The girls hadn’t even tried to remain close to one another? The brunette realized that it was going to be a lot more difficult to get her friends back together than she initially thought.
What horrified her even more, though, was the face that she saw at the front of the classroom during first period on the very first day of junior year. It was none other than Ezra, the man boy from the bar. He looked just as equally horrified to see her face and she was certain that he’d never speak to her again. And honestly, if he were even half a decent man, he would have quit his job right then and there–but of course, “decent” was the last word anyone would use to describe Ezra Fitz.
The situation with her English teacher might’ve fully taken over Aria’s brain that night if it hadn’t been for the sirens that began to ring out around 9PM, just as Aria was about to get ready for bed. The sirens were down the street but something made Aria’s blood run cold and she followed that feeling out onto the sidewalk. Sure enough, the sirens were just a few streets over, down by the DiLaurentis house. Oh, fuck.
Alison DiLaurentis’ body was found buried under the gazebo her parents had put up the previous summer. The backyard had been under construction at the time, making it the perfect place to dispose of a body.
The day of Alison’s funeral was what finally brought all the girls back together. They sat with each other in the same pew, as if no time had ever passed. While waiting for the service to begin, the four girls realized that they’d all been getting messages from a mysterious person who signed their messages with nothing but an “A.” Was it “A” for Anonymous? It couldn’t have been “A” for Alison. After all…her body was lying in a closed casket just feet away from them.’
However, it wasn’t until the very end of the service that the girls realized how serious all of this was. Detective Wilden, a hot shot police officer, approached the girls and vowed to find out what happened the night that Alison disappeared, which sent a chill down Aria’s spine. Just as he walked away, all of the girls’ cell phones eerily rang at the same time and the threatening message stared back at them through the screen:
“I’m still here, bitches, and I know everything - A”

I’ve feeling about making a fanfiction about a woman getting thrown into the hobbit trying to find her husband but also since it’s been so long maybe finding a new love? Let me know what you think!
I don’t own the hobbit this is merely fanfiction!
Thorin x OC
Emily fell into this world and her husband from her world fell in with her from what she thought, but she hasn’t been able to find him. See Emily had just married her best friend Mark but as they hiking up a mountain for a date they both fell into a cavern and it was lights out. When Emily awoke she was alone in a green field with small homes around her. The sun was high and it was the most beautiful place she’d even seen. Emily was wearing dark black jeans with combat boots, a burgundy hoodie, a thin rain jacket and a baseball cap. She had her old phone but that only lasted a day with her battery dying and she had her wallet with some photos of her family. She wondered for a bit before she found a green door. When she knocked on the door a little man name Bilbo Baggins opened the door. To say she was shocked was an understatement. She quickly realized she was in one of her favorite books. And as much fan-fiction as she read she thought she was going to save the line of Durin but…. Bilbo had just turned 57…. Meaning she had three years before the quest even started! Plus the fact she wanted to try to find Mark so she wouldn’t do it alone! But she had no means of travel, money or anything when she landed in the Shire besides the clothes on her back.
Her and Bilbo quickly made friends and he offered a room in BagEnd so she could get a footing. Within those three years she was gifted quite a nice bow set from Bilbo from Bree because she said she was an expert hunter which she was! Back in her world she often went hunting with her father or husband! She helped provide meat and get rid of a pack of wolves from BagEnd! Emily was quite helpful within the Hobbiton community. And it helped her make money for traveling or clothes. She first got five pairs of blue, a couple white cotton shirts, new boots, a traveling pack, arrows, a cloak with a hood made rain resistant. Now even though Emily and Bilbo were friends she kept her secret, never telling him her knowledge of what has yet to come, she wanted to meet with Gandalf and find her husband to return home…. If her husband is even in Middle Earth. She always wondered if Mark was here, alive or thought about her…. But she didn’t know.
All she knew was today was the day. It was Bilbos 60th birthday! Meaning Gandalf should be by today to inquisit some ideas to Bilbo.
She chuckled to herself not believing she been able to witness this world for three years, it went by so fast and now it’s almost time. Her arms ached with the want of going home and her head felt light. She was ready. As she was gathering rabbits for a stew Bilbo wanted she thought maybe I should have gotten more…for the company but she decided against it. This has to happened naturally well until Gandalf tells her to do soemthing.
It was afternoon by the time Emily left to go hunting and now it was dark, she should be able to see the mark and hopefully hear everyone’s voices or make it just after Balin.
She made her way through the quiet Hobbit town looking around she felt sad, she made a small but comfort life here. Made friends and helped more than she could have imagined. To be getting ready to leave left a small hole in her heart. Putting up her gloved finger to her eye Emily wiped off a small tear that threatened to fall. Chuckling to herself she couldn’t believe how attached she got. As she got closer to BagEnd she could hear Bilbo berating the pack of dwarves for pillaging the pantry.
Breathing in a deep of air, Emily had her hand on the door handle ready to start, and go back to her home. The door opened and the soft glow of lanterns lit the room and onto her face.
This is it. The adventure. The hope. Emily was ready. She would not fail saving the love of Durin, finding her husband and going home.
well??? Leave a review please! More chapter to come! I want it to be a slow burn? Hmmm have decided!::)

The FINAL Chapter of How Alison Met The Liars is LIVE!
Tumblr media
It was a journey but I have completed this story! The first story I have completed in years and it feels so good to finally do it. I really loved this idea when I started writing it and I am glad to see it through to the end.
This last chapter did cause some struggles for me but we persevered and got it done. Is it perfect? I don’t think so, it could have been written differently and it was a couple of times, but at the same time I do like the direction that I went with it.
So I hope you enjoy if you decide to read, I am not sure what my next story will be but I have some time to figure it out. At the minute I don’t want to commit to any long stories as I know I will get overwhelmed and probably abandon it halfway through so, I think I’ll stick with one shots and short stories for now.
Maybe when I feel more settled into the swing of things we will go for a big story again but I’m just happy to be writing anything, so we’ll take what we can.
Summary: Ever wondered how Alison and the Liars became friends? They seemed so different yet they all had one thing in common, Alison. In this series of short stories we discover how Alison uncovered the girls' secrets and wound them all around her little finger.
AU, loosely based on the TV show.
Trigger Warnings: In Hanna’s chapter there are snide comments about weight and language related to binging/bulimia.
