Your local library's got the G💿💿DS !
Tumblr media
If you'd like to relive the 🎫Blockbuster Experience🍿 in person and without spending a dime... visit your local library!
Seriously! Grab a friend (optional, igi) browse what's available, and borrow a heaping armful of 🎦movies! borrow whatever catches your eye, no need to hold back, because it's FREE. Pretty much any game console or computer with a disk drive can read a DVD.
I've got nothing against pirates, we're all pirates here, but we can be ✨library-card carrying pirates✨😇😇😇

The Last Unicorn really created one of the most terrifying monsters in animation and said it was rate G.
(There’s a lot of other mature themes in this film, but that this was all in the first act)

Made a tier list of dog related movies from 1990-1999 because I don't want to go thru all the Air Buddy films honestly they deserve their own tier list.
Requirements
- has to be intended for children or a family friendly audience.
- must be live action with animal actors.
- The dog should either be the main protagonist, a significant supporting character, or be integral to the plot.
Perks
- if the dog talks
- if there's an over the top dog hating villain
- if there's more than one dog
- if the dog has a love interest
Docked Points
- the rules of who can and can't understand the talking dog are unclear.
- the dog dies or is severely injured
- the movie is not memorable
- the dog lacks personality
Please discuss whether or not my rankings are fair or if I forgot a movie.

Watched the fnaf movie, 0 out of 10 Sun wasn't in it
Slight spoilers below
jk jk it was fine, not scary at all in my opinion as a horror fan, which is a shame bc I felt like I could've been an actually pretty spooky flick if they just let it be a rated R since lets be honest most fnaf fans have grown into adults anyways... Oh well. BUT I'm sure some people will find it rlly scary and that's awesome!! I unfortunately am hard to scare so that's no fault of the movie.
It was fun, a fine experience if you just want something goofy and it stands alone fine if you aren't super caught up on the billions of hours of lore. I enjoyed the main character's storyline more than I expected to, tho some might think it takes away from the action... ehh, I'm cool with it. I thought it had some heart.
It's especially a shame cause some part of me hoped against all hopes it would get enough popularity it'd spawn a sequel or two buuuuut I haven't seen many ppl talking about it at all and the rating isn't good, soooooo... I sad. Shouldn't have hoped but still did like an IDIOT. (If I am wrong, which I SO HOPE I AM, I can die happy)

It's been over a year and I still cannot get over how bad Hocus Pocus 2 was. It has given me a a greater level of respect for Hocus Pocus than I ever thought possible. It's made me think better of almost all "bad" horror movie sequels I've seen, because say what you will about the later Friday the 13ths and Nightmare on Elm Streets, but at leas those were actual movies instead of 90 minutes of bullshit strung around a few set pieces that are just retreads of better ones from the original.

Decided to binge watch the entirety of Pokémon Generations again because it's been a few years since I last saw it and uh
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is it just me or is it a lot more fucked up than I remember
#Pokémon#Pokémon Generations#I GENUINELY CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE THAT SOME OF THESE ARE ACTUAL HONEST TO GOD SCREENSHOTS FROM OFFICIAL POKÉMON CONTENT#Featuring fun family friendly scenes of cute doggies burning to death!#A nuked ancient civilization!#A scene of frozen corpses right out of The Day After Tomorrow and Geostorm but drawn in Pokémon art style!#Team Aqua getting felled by hubris and devoured by Primal Kyogre!#Whatever the fuck Courtney has got going on!#I would have included Groudon blowing up Hoenn and incinerating Team Magma but I wanted to include only one screenshot from that episode#For variety#Also that scene of Mimi the Espurr getting punted like a football. :(#It's like the animators thought Hey This Is Only For YouTube and Only Older Kids are On YouTube Anyway So We Can Be Edgy :)#I saw Pokémon The Power Of Us in cinemas and they showed the Legendary Beasts backstory episode as a short before the movie#Only problem the audience was filled with the elderly and parents taking their kids to see Funny Cute Pokémon Movie#So I was pretty much the only one who had context for WTF we just witnessed#Actually that short caused one family to get up and leave :)#Imagine not knowing anything about Pokémon and taking your four year old to see Funny Cute Pokémon Movie#Only to have to take your crying kids out of the theatre cause they got traumatised by watching animated dogs burn alive#All before the movie even started#Core childhood trauma memory formed right there#Actually now that I remembered the old lady in The Power of Us had a traumatic backstory of witnessing her Snubbull burn to death in a fire#Number of animated dogs dying in a fire in this one cinema trip: 4#Like what the actual fuck
