Abbachio is one of my favorites, and I do wish Araki had found ways to tweak his power into something more useful for combat, because it ultimately led to the character being sidelined big time. I think he's pretty indispensable into the gang's dynamics, with Bruno and the wonderful thing he has with Mista and Narancia. It took until the anime for people to catch on to this but Abbachio is consistently pretty funny especially with the other two idiots to bounce off of, as well as his beef with Giorno. I like that Abbachio never has any arc about coming to like Giorno or get along with him even after Man in the Mirror, but he puts his trust on him nonetheless even upon death.

I think Moody Blues is wonderful, one of my absolute favorite Stands in concept and visual and presentation. I don't have really that many Abbachio headcanons so much as I had to make up Moody Blues headcanons to write that fic from it's viewpoint and make it unique. Moody Blues is maybe my favorite part about Abbachio and one that definitely seemed like it was begging for more attention, but even besides that Abba's one of my favorites for sure

Ghiaccio:

White Album's one of the best JoJo fights and maybe the crown jewel moment of one of my favorite characters in the series (Mista), but I guess I don't have that much to say on Ghiaccio? I like him though, he's really funny. He's a pretty novel take on a character with ice powers even now, as the majority of those all tend to get played up as dispassionate and cold non-violent types, which is most definitely not Ghiaccio's thing. His voice can get grating but it's hard to fault it considering that's, the point, and it's done excellently as such. Ghiaccio is an obnoxious, tempestuous snob, but he's also an outlet for Araki to convey pet peeves and that specific feeling of being unreasonably angry about pet peeves and things others take for granted grating on you fierce, which is very appreciated on my end, and a lot of the times he isn't even outright wrong about the things he's getting murderously angry about.

I think part of why Ghiaccio works has to do with the fact that, despite what you'd assume, he actually isn't a big raging dummy 100% of the time, he's only a big raging and extremely dangerous dummy whenever he gets going about extremely specific pet peeves that piss him off. He's one of those characters who benefits a lot from Araki incorporating weird nonsense thought patterns into dialogue, because it makes his rage believable. He's not getting pissed off for nothing, it's because of THIS and THIS and THAT, and he goes through the trouble of explaining exactly why is it that this and that piss him off so badly, to the point that you the reader may find yourself agreeing with him. He's basically an AVGN rant on ice skates, he just happens to be doing that while shouting his lungs off and bashing cars into scrap and trying to kill people.

Trish:

I don't have anything to say on Trish, I kinda forget she exists most of the time even revisiting Part 5. It's not that she doesn't have her moments (even if half of those cool moments were done by Mista while they bodyswapped), it's not that the concept doesn't work, I just, I don't think Trish ever fully coalesces into the interesting character they could have been?

Trish kinda feels like a transitional mark more than anything, in the sense that she feels like Araki attempting to overcome his hang-ups about writing female characters and trying to give us the first female hero in the series who actually like, participates in the fights to any degree at all (a cool design and build-up doesn't make up for Lisa Lisa being completely useless you guys, I'm sorry, you all know she was done dirty). And Trish gets that a bit, she makes a great impression at The Grateful Dead and later gets Notorious BIG all to herself and then....that's kinda it?

There was an attempt here still and later we'd get Stone Ocean, which rules obviously and was Araki course-correcting as hard as possible on that front, and we probably wouldn't get Stone Ocean's badass leading ladies if Araki hadn't tested the waters with Trish so, she gets some points for that if nothing else.

Pesci:

I think Pesci (and Prosciutto, as they're a package deal) does a lot of the hard work in legitimatizing the Squadra as more than just your average assassin squad but instead a full-on rival anti-hero group opposite the protagonists, and honestly, Pesci's kinda wonderful a concept. Everything about their dynamic and set-up is made for you to think of Prosciutto first and Pesci second, and most people take the first half of The Grateful Dead fight as the frame of reference for Pesci which is why he tends to get perceived as a big baby, and of course this is a ploy to hide how Pesci is the real threat and the one who's gonna come unbelievably close to killing all of the characters on the spot. Bruno has to do an even riskier version of Jotaro's most desperate gambit against DIO just to survive, and even that wouldn't have worked if not for Pesci second-guessing.

I really love Pesci's design because everything about him screams that he's an easily disposable sympathetic grunt, he's ugly and cartoonish in that way Araki reserves for one-off gag characters or oddballs like Shigechi, which goes a long way to getting us to ignore Pesci compared to the more proper Prosciutto. People joke about how the "Stand users look like anybody else" concept is patently untrue but, Pesci looks and acts like the kind of jerk that Kenshiro would explode without looking, or a dumb goon that Naruto or the MHA kids would beat up and dismiss on their way to whatever bigger bad they had to tackle.

Instead, he gets applied the exact same kind of dramatic last-minute cunning and resolve that usually makes JoJo protagonists win at the last second. He gets his world turned upside down and loses the person he cares about the most and responds by dramatically turning the tides against his enemies, and he only loses because he gets desperate and makes one false move, and still continues to fight with a broken neck and winds up getting a final victory still by informing the others about Coco Jumbo. Pesci rules, plain and simple, and The Grateful Dead's viewed as a series highlight for good reason.

The least worried of the group, but still somewhat concerned.

He knew what you were capable of. He took you in after seeing the extent of your abilities. It didn't matter what the gang thought of you at first, they would eventually understand, was what he told you.

He's never seen someone so physically drained in his life and he'd love to believe that you may have a clinical condition that explains it.

Gets so frustrated when you don't listen to him during briefings and go to do your things on your own in missions.

It's so dangerous and he gets so scared. Even if you always succeed, sometimes without a single scratch, he still can't help but worry.

He stomps to you and when you think he's going to yell at you or slap you for being so reckless, he instead takes you in his arms, relieved.

"It's only a matter of time until something happens to you... God you scare me..."

Otherwise, he has no problems letting you lean onto him when you're feeling spent, or want to nap on him in the car.

Abbachio

Really? That was the new member Bucciarati trusted and brought in?

He was so pissed and frustrated whenever you laid halfway onto the table during meetings, or dozed off when someone reported for duty.

You were so lazy, undisciplined and churlish he couldn't stand it at times.

Some people, like him, worked their ASSES off to get to where they were, and you were just hunched over and drooling?

He was okay with a member feeling a bit sick or tired occasionally, especially if it was Bruno who overworked, but you were just too much!

He constantly slaps you to wake you up or get your attention and scolds you for it.

The way you handled the missions with such endeavour and skill was so contradictory to your usual slow attitude, he was so surprised.

To be honest he's terrified. How could someone be so two-faced?

But now he finally understood why you had been taken here by Bucciarati. You were indeed a valuable addition to the team, he had to recognize it.

It takes time for him to actually trust you and make sure you won't betray them, but he's still very admirative.

Giorno

He wouldn't show it but he was a bit worried. About the gang but mostly about you.

He guessed that you had some vitamin defficiency or anemia maybe? That would explain it, but he was no doctor.

He likes to believe that you're not just plain lazy and careless. If Bucciarati took you in, it was for a reason, he wanted to trust you.

And he was absolutely right.

He had been stuck, alone and in the verge of death on one dreadful mission. Nobody was there, and he couldn't call out for help.

He had used Golden Experience as a desperate last resort to call for one of the members, but he had no hope of anyone coming just in time to save him.

He was beyond shocked when, barely a few minutes after his call, you bursted through the place at lightspeed and took him away, not letting anyone even find you as you brought him to safety.

How did you come in so fast? Where were all the enemies? Did you... take them out all by yourself?

"Thank you, Y/N... I... I owe you my life..."

Otherwise, he puts a bunch of flowers and leaves on your hair when you nap.

Mista

He was pretty laid-back and lazy himself sometimes too. When he sees you chilling, sleeping, looking all jaded he just chuckles and join you in.

When you join the gang at first, he doesn't doubt that you could be a great spy, or a healer, maybe you could spot enemies like Narancia?

Surely he was NOT prepared for what kind of abilities you truly hid behind your tired and deviant facade.

The way you were fighting and the speed and clarity in your movements, he couldn't even catch everything with his two eyes.

The pistols had called for you, as Mista was in a dire situation and surely enough, you were there mere minutes after. He wondered if you had teleporting abilities or if your Stand gave you some kind of hyper speed. Turns out, you were just that fast.

You told him to hang in there and took his gun to finish off the enemies. Taking them one by one.

Your tone and the energy you had in your voice sent electricity down his spine. You were so... Different than what you has used him to.

You patch him up with expertise and he can't help but stare at you like you were a Godly revelation.

"Not gonna lie Y/N, that was kinda hot..."

Narancia

Pranks you all day. And I mean ALL DAY.

There's a recurring joke about how you're going to be the first one to die because of how lazy you are and how you're probably gonna fall asleep mid-fight.

Bucciarati does not like those jokes, at all.

Takes great pleasure in waking you up in the loudest and most obnoxious way possible just to see you flinch and panick.

"Giorno, put a centipede in Y/N's ear. Come on it's gonna be fun!"

How do you manage to sleep with him, Mista and Fugo fooling around next to you all the time, that was a grand mystery.

He brings you pizza, claiming 'you need vitamins'. Because everyone knows pizza have the perfect amounts of nutrients...

He's so impressed and admirative of you when you absolutely kill it during missions. It's like you're a completely different person, he doesn't recognize you.

He's your number 1 fanboy, please sign him an autograph because wow, you're so incredible he can't believe you're real.

It's incredibly funny how you immediately start to yawn and sleep in the car right after the Tom Cruise stunts you just pulled 5 minutes ago.

Fugo

He thinks you're just lazy and he doesn't feel comfortable with you here at first.

Like Abbachio, he wonders what went on Bucciarati's mind to even recruit somebody like you?

But at the same time he's very curious. Did you have some kind of strange disorder he's never heard of?

Every time he saw you, you were either sleeping, slumped over, or just plain out of it.

Are you doing this on purpose to mess with him or piss him off? Because if you are, it's working.

He forces coffee, orange juice, soda, anything down your throat to keep you awake and focused on missions, and when you refuse, he starts biting his nails.

"You better stay focused on this one I swear to God...!"

He's so scared and anxious you're gonna fuck it all up and get someone, or worse even, yourself killed just because you're a careless slug.

When he sees how operational and strong you were and how incredibly fast you acted during missions, his view on you does a complete 180.

In the end, your down-toned presence was very cooling for his angry soul, and he couldn't afford to lose you so stupidly and easily...

Trish

The first time she saw you she wasn't too surprised to see you napping and being a bit slow.

You were in the mafia after all, not necessarily the calmest and chillest occupation. It was okay to feel sleepy once in a while... Or all the time.

She even believed that you weren't just tired physically, but rather maybe you were tired of them.

And honestly? She relates.

But when one day on a mission you went from dragging your feet slowly like a drunkard to swiftly grabbing her, lifting her in your arms like she weighted nothing and running like a freaking cheetah a second after hearing gunshots, she was FLABBERGASTED.

First of all, WHAT? Second of all, HOW? She is so shaken and her eyes couldn't possibly get any wider. You went from 0 to 100 REAL FAST.

She's even wondering if that's really you holding her right now or if you have been possessed or something.

When you show her a characteristic tired smirk as you run, all her doubts are wiped and she's so charmed and impressed, you litterally and figuratively sweeped her off her feet.

Ahh thank you so much for the nice ask!! I usually don’t write female reader but since I hadn’t linked to my rules yet before you sent this ask I’ll make an exception! (Though to be honest, even though I've had a female reader in mind writing this, I feel like it just naturally came out gender neutral anyway... I hope that's alright!)

Jotaro, Mista & Josuke getting called late at night by their s/o whose being followed

Jotaro 🐬

Jotaro had stayed up until late at night once again, getting lost in his work

It was already after midnight when he finally got up from his desk, so when he got a call from you he knew something must be wrong

"Why are you calling so late? Is everything okay?"

You told him about what happened, and though you tried to keep your voice calm so he wouldn't be overly worried, he could pick up the panic in your tone.

"Don't worry, I'm coming to pick you up. Just keep walking, and keep talking to me, alright? Tell me what you see."

He did his best to rush over to you. Luckily he knew the city you were in quite well, and thanks to your descriptions, it took less than 20 minutes before he found you.

He immediately ran towards you, even stopping time to get to you quicker, holding you in a close embrace and comforting you as best as he could.

When he spotted the man behind you, he did his best to imprint his face into his mind. What you told him made it unmistakably clear that this wasnt someone with good intentions. Part of him wanted to knock that guy down right then and there, but he decided against it. You were more important.

On the way back home he made sure to hold your hand for almost the entire drive. You were so exhausted, physically and mentally, that you couldnt help but fall asleep.

When you finally arrived Jotaro picked you up and carried you to bed, calmly tucking you in before going back to his office

He finished cleaning his desk and quickly drew a sketch of your stalker with SP's help, before going to sleep as well

When you told him the next day you felt like you'd seen this man following you a few times already, he didn't hesitate to file a police report. He took the day off to spend it with you, taking you out to brunch and a walk on the beach, making sure to distract you as much as he could by telling you his favorite little fun facts about sea creatures, and even picking up a shiny seashell he found to gift to you later.

Josuke 💜

Josuke had been worried for some time now.

You told him you would make a trip into town that day and might not make it home until late at night, but it's been hours now since he started waiting for you to come back. No text, no call, nothing. This was so unlike you, and the longer time went on, the harder it got for him to stay distracted.

But finally, his phone rang - and it was you! Letting out a sigh of relief, he answered your call, only to start panicking once more.

You didn't even greet him, just let out a meek "Josuke?" You sounded scared.

"(Y/N)? I've been waiting for you to call! Where have you been?! Is everything ok? You sound worried..."

You told him you forgot time. Instead of going right home after finishing your errands you wanted to stroll through the city, but you got lost on the way. And on top of that you could swear the man behind you didn't just walk the same way by chance...

"Josuke, I'm scared..."

"Don't worry! I'm coming for you! For now, try to head somewhere with more people. I'll make some calls and then I'll immediatly call you back, ok? I won't be gone longer than five minutes."

He quickly called his friends and told them what's up, and they agreed to help. They all got on their bikes and drove to the city, splitting up to search for you, all while Josuke kept you on the phone, make sure you knew he was there for you.

Okuyasu found you first, doing his best to look even more intimidating than usual, and making it clear to everyone around that you were his friend. He texted the others and took you to their pre determined meeting spot, keeping an arm around your shoulder until the man that had been following you was finally gone.

When you reached the others tears welled in your eyes. Josuke was pacing around, worriedly, while Koichi was trying to calm down Rohan, who seemed stressed as well, and obviously annoyed by Josuke.

Seeing your friends all worried for you, and even Rohan being there... it warmed you up inside a bit.

You ran towards Josuke while calling out his name, the former immediately catching you in his arms.

"You're safe... oh god, I was so worried."

He pressed a kiss to your forehead and wiped away your tears.

"Hey, hey, no need to cry! It's alright. You're safe. You're with me."

When you commented on the fact that Rohan was there, the mangaka's smile he had whole looking at you two turned into a frown and he started at the ground.

"Well, Koichi called me, and I still owed him a favor... besides, what kind of guy wouldn't help in a situation like this?!"

He was the only one with a car, so he drove you home, where you met with Josuke again.

You spent the rest of the evening watching an episode of your favorite comfort show, cuddled up close to your boyfriend, falling asleep next to him.

"No matter what you say, next time I'll make sure to come with you..."

Mista 🔫

You were out buying some new supplies for the gang. Until now you've always had someone along with you to make sure you're safe, but since nothing had happened for the past few months and you insisted on it, you went alone this time.

And of course, this was the day you should've taken someone along with you.

You'd finally gotten everything - it was a real drag to find the candy Narancia wanted for his birthday - you usually would've just gotten any other candy bar, but since it would be his birthday soon and he insisted these ones were the best, you went the literal extra mile and looked through every shop in the city you could think of.

By the time you'd finally found it the sun had already set, and when stepping out of the store and trying to make your way back, you realized you'd gotten completely lost.

You spent an hour wandering around the city, trying to find some kind of building or street you recognized, but it felt like you were running in circles. The exhaustion slowly got to you, and you wanted nothing but to lie down, yet you knew you had to stay strong.

After you arrived at the same street crossing yet again, you realized the man by the street lamp seemed more than familiar. You turned around and walked the other way, looking discreetly over your shoulder to realize you were indeed being followed.

Was it an enemy stand user? Someone who held a grudge against your boyfriend and the rest of the gang? Or just a creep who liked to follow young girls around at night? In any way, your first thought was to call your boyfriend.

"Honey bear? How are you baby? Have you eaten dinner already?"

"Huh? Oi, (y/n), what's up with the weird names?"

"Ah, so should I bring something for you? I can pick up some noodles on the way home ~"

"Hey,, you're acting kinda weird, is everything alright?"

"No, noo! It'll be just like that time two years ago. I got lost going shopping, remember? And then you picked me up and we had some noodles!"

That was enough for him. "So, you got lost and need me to pick you up, but can't say it outright, right?" "Yep!" "I'll be there in just a moment. OI, NARANCIA!"

The two ventured into town, and with Aerosmith's help they managed to find you quite quickly. They ran towards you, and you were more than relieved when you saw them come across the corner.

You rushed to his side and Mista took your hand, pointing his gun at the man following you.

Considering how quickly he ran away it must've just been some rando. Still, you were more than relieved to be with Mista again.

With how tired you were after the day, he offered to carry you on his back and you immediately accepted, holding closely onto him and burying your head on his shoulder.

You didn't refuse the opportunity and gave him a little peck on the cheek, letting you hear that laugh you so loved.

Together you three ventured home, when after some minutes something was off...

"Oi, Narancia? Weren't we supposed to go left here?" "No, I swear it's to the right!" "Hey, wait a minute, weren't we just at this lamppost?"

...you got lost again.

In the end Abbachio came to pick you three up, though not before getting annoyed by your shared idiocy.

Finally feeling at peace, you feel asleep next to Mista on the car ride. Though your life had gotten consistently more dangerous since you met him, you couldn't help but feel like whenever he was around, things were finally alright.

You were roughly around Mista’s height so it somewhat felt as if he was talking to him sometimes.

“Giorno,” You walked you to him in hell’s for the first time. “Is this awkward for you?”

Mista

You two were only half an inch off each other.

This playful contest would go on for about a week until Mista finall faced the truth that you are taller.

Narancia is amazed by the difference. You were basically half a foot taller than him.

He going to do the whole “I’m such a baby compared to you” shtick.

Narancia will also offer to carry you, but he’s the one that ends up being carried.

You two will be picked on a bunch by Mista and Fugo at first but you know that Narancia will pull a knife on them.

Even though, he personally makes fun of the difference his attitude will do a 180 and be very protective.

You two danced together before and it was pretty awkward, but he loved being the girl role.

Fugo

Like Narancia, he will go ballistic if anyone makes fun of your height. Let alone pointing it out.

It’s only a two inch difference, but his hair hides majority of it so it’s not that noticeable compared to the other members,

Like Bruno and Giorno, he really doesn’t care about it because he pays attention to your character. Honestly, he would date an old lady as long as she was sweet.

Fugo is so dorky that he would say your genetics are great because you have nice long legs.

He always fills you up with compliments and says stuff close to “You should be a model”

Like Fugo, the hair will hide some of it.

Abbacchio has strict skincare routine that he follows! He always spends the most on facial scrubs and creams!

FUGO PANNACOTTA

He is a stubborn guy.... He screams and gets angry once in a while and is not afraid to show it. Once he was screaming at Narancia about some math problem or something and put up his hand grabbing a fork really close to her (his intensions were to hit Narancia) And she let out a quiet scream or yelp. He emediatly turned around to see her with a scared look on her face. Narancia was the first to speak while she shrugged it of and later told Fugo about it.

Fugo was in a loss of words... He felt angry about the scum that did those thin to her, at the same time he wanted to comfort his lover and tried to be sweet and calm about the topic.

NARANCIA CHIRGA

Narancia doesn’t really fight with his soulmate... he mostly raises his voice when he is excited or just angry at Fugo. He doesn’t want to be angry around her though. He probably came home really angry about something and didn’t know she was there so he just screamed at himself and on Fugo (he wasn’t there) and she thought he was screaming and talking this bad about her. Narancia understood when he went to the kitchen to grab something and found her crying in a corner.

Narancia is in shock as well but he is mostly angry at himself and that bastard. He apologizes profusely about that and is really sweet. He tried being calm but fails though, and is so damn angry with your ex. SO DAMN ANGRY!

MISTA GUIDO

Unlike the others Mista is a bit rough and touchy from the start but he probably learned about it by talking to her. Mista wants to know anything about her from the start! When he saw that the topic of past love made her really uncomfortable so he got worried and insisted on knowing! He said he wasn’t gonna get mad. (we will see about that!)

Mista101 has gone out of control. He immediately takes action! Without telling her that bastard is dead or paralysed in less that 24 hours. He comforts her his best and is super careful about how he and others treat her!

GIORNO GIOVANNA

He has some down moments but he hates being mad around his soulmate. I see Giorno examining the way she acts around physical affection and fast movement and comforting her about it in a calm way. As someone who has struggled to find a place where he can be himself (or rather in the midst of truly discovering himself) Giorno is the match for you! Giorno doesn’t believe that he is significantly special, but does his best in reminding you that even if you’re not special to most that you’re at least special to him. He understands the reserved nature you hold, as he has the same habit of being cautious around new people.
