Summary:
When your parents and Sirius's decide to betroth you two in marriage you think it's the worst thing that could have happened to you. You and Sirius have hated each other for as long as you can remember, and with the engagement over your shoulders, having to live together at Hogwarts pretending to be a happily engaged couple is exhausting.
Eventually feelings grow between you and marrying in doesn't seem so bad anymore.
Your younger sister has been engaged to Severus Snape and even if there is nothing more than a cordial relationship between them, you know that he would give his life for her.
The day before your double wedding Sirius sneaks into your room, you two chat for hours and sleep together. When he leaves, you see him talking to your sister in the main entrance, you decide not to spy on them anymore and go to sleep or at least try to.
But the next day is the worst day of your life.
Your family was going crazy, the guests were whispering among themselves and Sirius was nowhere to be found. Neither did your sister. With your wedding dress on and the fear tightening your throat, you look for Severus, he comforts you and explains that, the night before, he saw them leaving the manor together.
With your heart broken in a million pieces, you decide not to ruin your parents' plans and you take Severus Snape, your best friend, in marriage.
You know, while it obviously sucks to find out a celebrity you liked isn't who you thought they were, there's still a silver lining I've noticed, as well.
Because, see, every time we learn that one celebrity we thought was great is actually pretty garbage, we also learn that there's at least one another who is at least just as great as we thought if not even better.
When it was more widely revealed/realized that R*wling was a pos, we also noticed how Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe (i can't remember who else, if anyone) were at least as amazing as we'd thought.
And when all that horrible stuff was revealed a few weeks back when Quiet on Set came out, we also saw Jerry Trainor and Cooper Barns being the heroes we knew them to be.
And while those are the only examples I can think of rn, there are plenty of other ones.
Because at least most of the time, when a horrible person's true colors are revealed, the person who was always being a hero but never needed any recognition for it is finally noticed.
Robbie Coltrane as Rubeus Hagrid in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Robbie Coltrane, the hulking Scottish actor beloved by generations of children for his role as Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died. He was 72.
His agent confirmed the news to BBC, the Guardian, and Deadline.
Coltrane was already a well-known actor and comedian in the UK when J.K. Rowling personally suggested him to director Chris Columbus for the part of Hogwarts groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid, who was born to a giant and a wizard and acts as a friend and protector to the titular protagonist and his friends. But his appearance in that first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), catapulted him to a new level of international celebrity.
