It was May 2023 when there was an incident in D.I.O. The younger brother of the CEO of the company, Diego Brando, was visiting, he went to the research area while waiting to see his brother, but something went wrong.

One of the lizards became violent, began to shake and the staff tried to stop it, a difficult task as it was quite large and strong. Diego debated among themselves to help them or to leave (he worked with animals and was quite strong), but what happened next was so fast that he barely had time to process it, in the struggle a capsule with a yellowish-green liquid flew out and fell and it broke right into the wall he was on, splattering almost completely. Hell, he feels like he accidentally licked up some of that stuff.

A scientist came to see him and gave him her identification, she recommended that he go to wash and disinfect himself in the staff bathroom, but then he had to return to see that there is nothing wrong. He agreed and did as he was told, although in the middle of the shower he started to feel weird. When he finished and began to get dressed, he felt very dizzy and his arm itched, he sat down for a moment and scratched and scratched again and again with more force, he did not notice that his skin was peeling off and underneath it was greener and more scaly .

Meanwhile, the scientists had already calmed down and locked up the lizard and were putting everything in order for when some visiting students came, they didn't notice that two spiders were missing.

A few minutes later they arrived and the guide started the tour. Among them was a boy dressed in orange and black colors, curiously named Narancia, he was taking photos of all the experiments and specimens, he liked science, and although biology was not his favorite area he could still enjoy it, that and because he had to pass grade.

When they were looking at the spiders, their pink-haired teacher Christine (although they call her Hot Pants affectionately) noticed and told the scientists that two of the aforementioned spiders were missing. They appreciated his observation and promised to locate them.

A few minutes later the student Narancia and the teacher Hot Pants felt a prick in their neck and arm, the minor reacted and patted the place, killing the spider that had bitten him, but the woman saw her arm and the spider that bit her, she took it carefully and wanted to call someone.

Narancia, scared that the spider was poisonous or something, wanted to call one of the staff, but he did not have time as an alarm suddenly sounded and a guard ran out, ordering everyone to evacuate the building. The students and teachers went back to school and none of them knew what happened until they saw the news on their phones that there was a problem in D.I.O with some loose reptiles.

The boy went to sleep a little groggy that night, as did his teacher who had kept the spider that bit him.

When they woke up the next morning, they had super strength and were sticking to the walls, it was a very strange day when they realized that they had obtained the powers of the Spiders.

And in Dio Brando's mansion, he was in an underground room watching his brother locked and tied inside a cage, with each passing hour his reptilian features were disappearing, but the DNA samples said that the lizard mutagen was still there, and at any moment it could return to being the monster that almost swallowed his employees.

Narancia didn't know what to do. How had that happened, and what was he doing now with his spider powers? That were the questions that lived for free in his mind. It probably had to do with that spider, but that didn't solve anything. Were the D.I.Os working with the spiders that gave the spider people their powers? WTF. As far as he knew the Spiders were only associated with the Speedwagon Foundation.

After much thought, the boy decided to try to get the attention of the Spiders, so he made a suit, he found out that he couldn't shoot webs like them, so he made his own shooter, and by the way, he also made some wings so he could glide. It took him several weeks to complete them, in which he also practiced how to live with his new abilities, when he was ready he put on his suit and started patrolling the streets hoping to find some Spider.

It didn't take long and he ran into Spider-Purple in the streets where he used to swing, it seems the internet did its thing and helped them track him down. Narancia told him how he woke up with powers, and Purple asked him if before that he had been involved in something with spiders, to which he remembered and mentioned that he had been bitten by a spider on a school trip.

Purple told him that his brother had also been bitten and thus obtained his powers, and these were transmitted to himself when he had to give him a blood transfusion. And he asked him if he wanted to be part of the spider society, part of them or part of the villains.

He obviously decided to go with them. So Purple took him to the Speedwagon Foundation to introduce him to the rest of the Spiders. He warned that there would probably also be someone else who had apparently gained spider powers as well.

When they were there, the Spiders were accompanied by a stranger dressed in pink, they discussed whether they should show their identities, it seems that they were all family, he and the pink one were the only strangers. He interrupted them and told them that he could tell them who he was and he took off his mask, the pink one was surprised and also took off his mask revealing that it was his teacher Hot Pants.

They all ended up revealing their identities, and decided that Narancia and Hot Pants would also be part of the Spiders' partnership. They complimented Narancia on his shooters and his wings, but both he and his teacher were told that they needed other costumes, Jonathan laughed, this reminded him of his own beginnings, his costume had changed since then, but his ideals never, he hoped this new allies would be as steadfast as well.

Later Narancia was known to the world as the Aero-Spider.

And Hot Pants was nicknamed Spider-Pink, the media considers her handrogynous, they have never confirmed her gender. By the way, Hot Pants confessed that she had kept the spider that she bit her and kept it as her pet. The Spiders asked him to examine her to find out how two radioactive spiders ended up in D.I.O, that would probably lead them to talk to a relative with whom they had cut almost all connection, they got along very badly, but this was more important.

Dio had given his brother clear instructions about what had happened to him and what he should do to avoid transforming into that monster again, however a short time later on the news he saw how a giant lizard attacked random passersby.

He managed to catch Diego before the Spiders did, and he reprimanded him, to which he replied that he didn't want those drugs, he wanted to control it himself, and perhaps with those abilities gain power. Dio said nothing to this, only that he would be watching and monitoring him, which Diego accepted.

Dio thought that he could take advantage of this, he would not tell Diego that he is Superior Spider, never, but he could take advantage of him and his powers in his favor.

A few weeks ago:

When the incident occurred in D.I.O they didn't realize that two spiders were missing afterwards, they had found almost all of them crushed even the spider that bit Narancia, but the ladybug spider (from Hot Pants) and the peacock spider did not appear.

Shortly after escaping from the building, a peacock spider landed on the shoulder of a blond boy in a wheelchair, and bit him. It ended up crushed.

after months of agonizing over it, he's finally here: the sonic variant from my original shatterspace! syzygy, or "ziggy," has a bad attitude, and no powers at all. that's right! after creating a sonic variant that's basically a god in terms of his power level, i've decided this one doesn't have any superspeed.

instead, he uses extreme gear to get around.

as for why he doesn't have a wisp... well, he used to, but it met an unfortunate end when he was still very young. since then, he became prickly and closed off. at least, that's what most people think.

in truth, the twist to his character is that he's the embodiment of sonic's "power of friendship." he's rescued several kids from certain death situations, and has formed his own little gang of superpowered loyalists. among these kids are this universe's cream, ray, and kit. more about them will come later...

also, something to note about this shatterspace: since the world is fractured in two, i figured it would only make sense for space to be like how it is in "treasure planet". so, there's breathable air up there. syzygy and his little friends spend most of their time traversing the cosmos, searching for a way to fix the planet--a goal that most people on earth have all but forgotten about.

The moment that made Bruce the man he is today was the moment his parents were murdered in the alley. He thinks that that moment for Tim had or will have to do with the deaths of his parents as well, like it was for him, for Dick, for Jason, all children whose lives were changed forever by tragedy. He doesn't realize that that moment for Tim was a decade ago at Haly's Circus.

Bruce thinks that he and his mission are the poison, that prolonged exposure will eventually drag Tim down into the darkness he resides in (or worse, like it did to Jason). He thinks of the child he once was, remembers that he became the Bat so that no other child might be suffer that same loss, that same transformation that he has. He doesn't realize that Tim's path was set from the very first day he can remember.

Tim doesn't know how to be any different. How to be anything other than a boy who deduced Batman's secret identity by accident. A boy whose heroes inspired him to become a detective, to pick up computer skills, to learn to fight. A boy who cared enough about two strangers at the circus to risk his life for them a decade later.

Becoming Robin was just the culmination. Becoming Robin is when everything that made Tim Tim started to make sense. The night in the alley was the night Bruce’s life changed, but that night at the circus was the night Tim’s life began.

Like sure, we haven't gotten like a Moria flashback, but you know, he literally told us all we needed to know himself, AND we got to see glimpses of him in the Wano flashbacks. Arlong didn't get a flashback of his own, but he did get to cameo in Fisher Tiger's flashback. And Rob Fucking Lucci got a flashback that was 6 whooping panels long

BUT CROCODILE?? Not only do we know almost Fuck All about his story, but also have never gotten as much as a glimpse at it? But his backstory has been HINTED and TEASED at multiple times??

Hi! To answer your question, I want to let ships develop naturally over time with the audience and allow y'all to have those ships largely without my direct influence the way the show for the most part does (almost every ship being implied rather than directly stated by the end of the series) because I think that'll be more fun for everyone involved!

That being said, if there is one ship I can at least say is somewhat close to my heart and by nature of the story has somewhat of a focus... Dinky's parents are that ship.
