Friend. Friend. Friend. Imogen swirled the word around in her mind like a new flavor that she couldn’t decide was offensive or not. It felt strange, odd, out of place. Yet, it also brought unexpected feelings of warmth and reassurance. No one had ever referred to her as a friend. She had never earned that title before, never bothered to. Friendship did not possess anything of value in her eyes until recently, but she wondered what she could have done to receive such a standing with Cal so soon.

“Okay, what’s wrong?” He suddenly asked with a slightly exasperated sigh.

“What?” Imogen snapped back, annoyed that he would presume her mood.

“You’ve been glaring at me extra hard since we got here,” Cal insisted. “What did I do?”

hi again! it's the "modern day austen male lead" anon again

i just went through your bruce, dick, and kon master lists and OH MY GOD! there are 2 works that i really want to talk about a bit more:

sweet atlas was so emotion-packed in such a small amount of words. the connection between dick and atlas has been one of my favorites so far. i'm a huge greek mythology nerd and that line "sweet atlas with blue wings on his chest" really stuck with me. i absolutely love this comparison! it was really well written and i loved the backdrop of "friends with budding feelings" and like that see saw of emotions where neither wants to say too much that would scare the other off but also want to be open about their feelings.

all yours!! that part where he leans in and smells his body wash on the reader!! when i tell you i gasped! i was kicking my blanket, blushing. this one was more on the fluffy side but i really enjoyed it! it had a lot more depth to it as opposed to just being fluff without plot. it was cute and it felt like catching a glimpse of your two favorite characters interacting behind the scenes. i loved the flirty back and forth!!

once again, i'm a big fan!! and i just really am enjoying your works—for everyone! ♡ i'm gonna try to get through the rest of your list now, and i hope 2023 brings new writings from you :)
