Married life with Jude!!
headcannon for jude bc i’ve never done one! hope you enjoy! 🧟‍♀️🤍
masterlist | jude’s masterlist | send requests/ concepts!
would def introduce/call you as “wife” everywhere you go. doesn’t matter where you guys are headed he would so go “this is my wife y/n.” would make me feel so giddy i will not lie 😣😔
kiss your ring finger whenever he pleases, or when he notices you becoming nervous or anxious because he knows how much kisses with you mean. “relax darling, it’s us. me and you.”
have a random argument in the morning and jude being first to apologize bc he one, hates to see you upset bc of him, two due to the fact he hates when you’re not talking to him, and three bc he hates fighting especially with you. “forgive me okay? i didn’t mean it.”
would text you whenever either of you are out to check in, and starts the text with “wife…” or “husband” to remind to pick something up, or send a quick i love you text, to tell you about their days or something funny you guys saw, to say they miss each other. props if they send pictures instead of just texting.
on random occasions would pull out your wedding photos because it’s the most memorable and unforgettable night of his life. would explain to you how he felt in that moment and pull you his chest and tell you he loves you so much.
calls you “mrs. bellingham” to get your attention or walks into the room bc you and him love it. friends and family would make fun of you and you would shy away from it, but jude just smirks bc deep down it’s a reminder to everyone you’re married to him.
the two of you spending every morning together before he leaves for training or away games, having your daily tea/coffee with cookies/biscuits because you hate being apart even if it’s for just a little bit. “gonna miss you so much angel. wait for me so we can grocery shopping okay?”
LATE NIGHT TALKS BECAUSE WHATTT??? i have trouble sleeping at night and he would def stay up with you and you the same with him when you can’t sleep and just talk about kids, pets, friends and family, work, about the old times when you first got together.
brings you your favorite bouquet of flowers when he comes back from away duty, never getting over the fact that you’re married to him. kissing your forehead first and then leaning down to connect your lips together. “your favorite flowers, but you’re my favorite flower beautiful.”
annoys the shit out of you when he’s sick or clingy, begging for you to hold him and kiss his cheeks or temple because you apparently take the pain away. your hands massaging down his back and neck to smooth him, but sometimes he pretends just so he can feel you. “i need my wife to be with me in ‘sickness and in health’ remember?”
when back in england he loves doing date night at late night. takes you on walks after dinner and treats you to ice cream, buys you something to remember the night. his hand on your thigh in the car or around your waist when walking. “look so pretty for me. why are you so beautiful, wife?”
BYE IM SORRY BUT HES THE TYPE TO BUY SHIRTS THAT SAY “my wife” “his wife” and “my husband” “her husband” and force you go to public wearing them because he thinks it’s hilarious. “i’m sorry i can’t. i need a good laugh. please baby? do it for me?”
buys you small presents because he can’t stop spoiling you. “for you my wife. don’t start with that because i have every right to do anything to make you smile.”
would pull up to your work place when you least expect it and wait in your office/ designated area to eat lunch when he’s off. you would tell him all the gossip or topic of the day to reach, and he’s attentively listening because he loves hearing about the silliest thing that occur in your work place. everyone would just stare at the two of you in awe because you are the definition of couple goals.
when you attend his matches you would surprise him with a “his wife #5” jersey and he would smile wide and pull you close after the match ends. he would make fun of you at first but he loves the idea bc he know it’s a reminder to not him but the whole world. “my wife indeed. it’s gonna become my favorite jersey you’ve worn. gotta remind everyone who your husband is right?”
a relationship especially when married isn’t one sided, so the two of you always go above and beyond to make each other happy even if it’s the smallest word or action. squeeze in a cuddle even if it’s not appropriate timing. always communicating about how you to ensure the two of you are okay.
even the smallest glances you send when you’re not together, it’s glances like those that will never fail to put a smile on each others faces. like the of you would be the only humans alive.

Hey Daddy.
Pairing Travis Kelce x Reader
Words 3381
Warnings Some strong language and mentions of miscarriage, blood, losing a family member. There's a bit of angst and lots of fluff though!
Another Anon request! This is my first Dad Travis/pregnancy related fic. As someone who has never been pregnant and doesn't plan on it in the future, I've avoided writing this sort of thing. But this is why I love getting requests as it brought me out of my comfort zone and I really enjoyed doing it! So, thank you Anon for making me branch out into a different style! "Can I request some dad Travis/pregnant reader? Travis has to travel for an away game and his wife (reader) is 9 months pregnant who has to stay home - unable to travel due to being so close to giving birth. She gets very anxious lately whenever Travis has to leave because she can go into labor any day now. Game day is here and the reader is not feeling well at all. She's curled up on the couch with a blanket and some tea, to watch the game. During the game, the reader's water breaks and she goes into labor. Travis' mom is in touch with her. Travis' mom notifies the team staff what's going on... and then they notify Travis during the game."
Tumblr media
"Baby, I miss you." Travis' warm voice made you melt as you held the phone close to your ear.
"You only left this morning!" You giggled as you clutched at the blanket and pulled it up to your chest, "You can't miss me already?"
"Yes I can! Are you saying you don't miss me when I leave?"
"Of course I do, Travis." You winced slightly as you shifted on the sofa.
Travis heard your slight noise of discomfort, "What? Are you okay? What's wrong?" He immediately sounded concerned.
"Relax, baby. I've just got cramp. I'm fine."
You heard him sigh in relief, "Man, I hate leaving you. I hate leaving you anyway, but you're sick and you know...ready to burst."
"Not long until the little guy is here." You gently rubbed your swelling stomach.
The Chiefs had a game in Dallas against the Cowboys and Travis had travelled to the game alone for the first time since you had been together. You only had 2 weeks left until your due date and luckily, Travis had had a bye week and two home games in a row, meaning he was around to take care of you. You hadn't been feeling 100% for the past few days however, meaning he was more worried, especially as he was about to be 500 miles away from you. You tried to keep him calm, reminding him that it was only an hour's flight home and he would be back before he knew it.
"Well, try to keep him in there until I'm home."
You laughed, "I don't think I'll have much of a say!"
Travis hummed into his phone, "And remember, you can call my Mom at any time."
You snickered slightly, "Travis, I'm fine. I'll be here on the couch with my snacks and my herbal tea, watching you kill it."
Travis sighed again, "Okay, okay. Baby, I gotta go. But please, take care until I get back, alright?"
"Alright. I love you, Travis."
"I love you, Y/N."
You hung up the phone and reached for your ginger tea, sipping it gently, the hot steam tickling your cheeks. A strong stab shot through your lower back again, causing you to stretch your chest upwards in an attempt to relieve any pressure. You had been having these pains for most of the afternoon but you didn't want to worry Travis. You picked up your phone from the arm of the sofa and texted Travis' Mom, Donna.
"I've had a few more of those pains, but I don't know how much more ginger tea I can have. I'm running the the bathroom every two minutes!"
Donna must have had her phone in her hand as they three grey dots appeared almost immedately.
"Just wait till you're at my age, sweetie!"
You smiled at her message, pulling the bowl of nacho chips onto your lap, enjoying the pre-game interviews. Your eyes danced across the room, cards from friends and family wishing you well for your pregnancy dotted around the surfaces. A brand new crib was located near the window, a bright blue bow secured on top; a gift from Travis' brother Jason and his wife Kylie. Your heart fluttered as thoughts of you and Travis becoming parents filled your mind. He was fantastic with his three nieces and they adored him just as much as he did them. You picked up your cup of tea, but as you brought it to your lips, you felt your bladder sting, groaning as you lifted yourself up for another trip to the bathroom.
By the second half of the game, you were out of chips and the Chiefs were down by 7 points. You grumbled to yourself with the dull ache that was radiating across your back and stomach. Gripping onto the blanket you opened your latest message from Donna.
"Keep up with those breathing exercises, honey. Have you got the birthing ball?"
Your eyes scanned over to the large, blue gym ball in the corner of the lounge. You knew that it would help with your pains but just the idea of getting up from the sofa was enough to tire you out.
"Yeah I have. I'll get on it now. I could really do with a Momma Kelce hug, that would make me feel better!"
"You only have one week to wait and you can have all of the Momma Kelce hugs you want!"
You smiled as you put your phone back down and slowly rose to your feet, one hand lightly supporting your large bump. As you settled down on the ball in front of the TV, the third quarter was beginning. You gently bounced, breathing deeply and feeling some of the pain release before your core tightened again.
Travis' face flashed up onto the screen as he was settling into position for the first play of the quarter and you smiled, feeling an immense combination of love, pride and respect. Your relationship had developed over a few years, through your friendship with his teammate Eric Fisher and his wife Elizabeth. When Travis was drafted to the Chiefs, he was invited to numerous parties, dinners and barbeques that you had attended and a close friendship blossomed. Travis eventually asked to take you out on a date and you agreed, with a little persuasion from Elizabeth and Eric. He was kind, caring and attentive to you, with staunch manners and an incredible sense of humour. He made you laugh, made you feel safe and always put you first when he could. The two of you had married after 4 years surrounded by your family and friends and it was truly the happiest day of your life. You couldn't believe how lucky you were, staring up at the handsome man who was promising the rest of his life to you. It was a mutual decision to start trying to have children, and you got to work almost immediately after the wedding.
When you found out that you were pregnant, Travis was overjoyed, choking up as he kissed you repeatedly, crying "Thank you" into your lips. You prepared the house for your new arrival, painting the nursery and spending your Monday nights building new furniture. Everything was falling into place until during your second trimester, you suffered a miscarriage. You had been putting some groceries away when you felt a strange sting deep in your abdomen. You grabbed onto the kitchen counter and doubled over, clutching your stomach with your other hand. You breathed through the intense pain and when Travis walked through the door, he rushed to your side. Picking you up and moving you to the sofa, his face turned white when he saw the trail of blood that ran behind you and he quickly drove you to the hospital.
The next few months were numbing. You felt that you had let Travis down, that it was your fault that you had lost his first child. He insisted every day that you had done nothing wrong and stuck to your side as you grieved.
Just as you were beginning to heal, life threw you another cruel blow. You had invited your Mom for coffee and you knew something was wrong with her. She was quiet and fidgeting so you pushed for answers. You wished you hadn't as it was then when she explained that she had found a lump in her breast and was awaiting for the results from the Doctor. Only days after you saw her, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and she passed away soon after. Coming from a single parent household, you and your Mom were extremely close. She was your rock and was elated on your wedding day, constantly telling Travis how happy she was for the pair of you. You had felt like your life was falling apart around you but the one constant support you had was Travis. He would hold you close as you cried yourself to sleep. He would stay with you when you were too drained to leave the house. He took a year off of football to help you and to care for you. You were undeniably grateful to him and when you fell pregnant again, he was reasonably cautious. Reading baby books, attending lamaze classes with you and checking up with you every hour when he wasn't with you. His attentiveness made your heart burst with love, seeing a glimpse of his parenthood skills.
Your attention was brought back to the screen when you heard the commentators begin to raise their voices. Travis was sprinting down the field, the football safely cradled in his arm.
You sat up further, clenching your thigh muscles, "Go on, baby! Come on, keep going! Go!"
Travis made the touchdown with ease, dropping the ball as he raised his hands to the sky, blowing a kiss in your honour, as he always did. You clapped your hands and shouted with happiness until you felt a sudden wetness release in your sweatpants. You stopped, slowly standing up from the gym ball. Feeling the smooth texture with your fingers, you looked down with an initial sense of panic. The liquid was clear and you froze on the spot. Your water had broke.
You immediate reaction was to call Donna.
"Hey honey!" Donna sang down the phone.
"Uhh Donna, I think the baby is coming." Your voice was panicked.
"What?"
"I was cheering for Trav and my water broke."
"Oh shit. Okay, stay calm, relax, I'm gonna call Travis' team staff. Have you called the hospital?"
You paused, "Umm...no. I called you straight away."
"Okay. Call the hospital straight away."
You swallowed hard, "Donna, he's not supposed to come for another 2 weeks."
"I know, it's okay though."
"I'm scared. I'm on my own and I'm scared."
Donna sighed, "I know you are, but trust me, everything is going to be fine."
You nodded your head against the phone, "Yeah, yeah. Thank you so much Donna."
"I'll speak to you soon, sweetie."
You paced the floor with nerves, unsure of what to do. Usually, Travis would be the one to keep you calm so you looked towards the screen. The game was still playing and you stared as Travis was completely unaware that his wife was in labour.
You called the hospital, clutching at your stomach, explaining that your water had broken two weeks before your due date. The call handler explained calmly that they would be sending an ambulance as soon as possible but that you were still in the early stages of labour and not to panic.
As the current play ended, you saw Travis sitting down on the bench, breathing heavily and watching the action on the field as he sat this one out. A member of the Chiefs staff approached him from behind and tapped his shoulder. The camera panned away and you groaned through what you assumed was a contraction, waiting to see your husband on the screen again. When his face finally appeared, his eyes were wide and his head was whipping from side to side, anxiously shouting to everyone around him before he was quickly ushered out of the stadium.
You felt restless. Glancing out of the window, you tried to slow your breathing down in an attempt to relax. You watched the trees swaying with the breeze, almost replicating the movement with your own body and taking deep inhales. Closing your eyes, your hand instinctively cradled your baby bump just as another stab of pain shot through you.
"Come on, just stay in there until Daddy gets back." You muttered.
You hunched your back over and pressed the palms of your hands against the wall for stability as your phone started ringing. Without checking who it was, you answered the call.
"Hello?" You groaned.
"How are you doing, sweetie?"
You winced as you sat down on the gym ball, "I don't know if these pains are contractions but they're kicking my ass, Donna. Did you speak with the team?"
"Yeah, they're getting him out of the stadium now and onto a private jet to bring him home as soon as they can."
You sighed with relief before letting out a throaty cry, "I need him here."
"He'll be there, honey. He isn't missing this."
Your phone beeped in your ear, signalling that another call was trying to get through. You pulled the phone away to look at the screen, seeing a selfie of you and Travis on your wedding day, a huge smile on your face as he pressed a kiss into your cheek.
"He's calling me now, Donna. I'll have to go."
"Okay, call me later on."
You switched the call over quickly, hearing Travis' breathless voice.
"Baby, baby! Are you okay?"
You smiled, "I'm fine, it's painful but I'm okay. They're sending an ambulance as soon as they can."
"I'll be home in an hour and a half. Just sit tight and keep breathing. I love you so much."
Your voice shook, "I love you too, I can't wait to see you be the best Daddy to this little guy." You held your baby bump tenderly, feeling movement through your sweater.
Travis cleared his throat, "I'm getting on the jet now, I'll see you soon."
"Bye, baby."
You dropped your phone on the sofa and began pacing the floor again, grasping at your back as the sharp stab began to change into a dull ache. Your groaned through the pain, gritting your teeth and scrunching your eyes.
It wasn't long before an ambulance arrived to take you to the hospital. You were anxious about having to do this first step on your own but knowing that Travis was on his way eased your mind slightly. He was your birth partner and knew what to do to keep you relaxed, the correct breathing exercises to do and you were desperate to have him by your side.
Once you were in the hospital, you were quickly brought to your private room, your husband wanting only the best for you. It was bright, comfortable and quiet, just what you needed. A cheerful nurse appeared in your doorway with short grey hair and a wide smile.
"Mrs Kelce, my name is Heather. I'll be looking after you today." She beamed as she made her way to your bed.
"Hi Heather." You whined quietly, "My husband is on his way so please could he be let straight in when he gets here?"
She nodded and picked up your notes that were hanging on the end of the bed, "Of course, anything you want. Now, how is your pain."
You scrunched your face, "Manageable at the moment, I guess."
Heather stretched on a pair of gloves, "You just let me know if you would like any help with the pain, but first thing I'm going to do is check how far along you are, if that's okay?"
You nodded as she made her way to the end of the bed, lifting your gown up. You shifted as she examined you, trying to relax.
"Okay, so you're around 4 centimetres so I'm afraid we've got some time to wait, Mrs Kelce."
"Please, call me Y/N."
Heather smiled as she removed her gloves and placed them into the bin, "Now, can I get you anything?"
You pointed down to your bag that you had had packed and ready for the last 2 weeks, "Could you hand me the book that's on the top, please? I figure now would be the perfect time to get some reading in."
Heather reached into the bag and pulled out a large hardbacked book and passed it to you, winking, "Good idea. I'll be just out here. If you need anything at all press that buzzer and I'll be right in."
You smiled at her, your fingers brushing over the pages of your book. You held your breath as another wave of pain brushed over you, but this time it was longer and more intense. You clenched your jaw and closed your eyes to try and deal with the pain, not keen on taking any drugs throughout your labour. Squeezing your eyes further shut, you gripped the book in your hands as the pain began to subside.
Your knuckles were turning white when you heard gentle footsteps. You opened one eye to see Heather set down a cup next to you on the bedside table and lower herself into the nearby seat.
"Ice chips." She said with a smile, "You'll get a dry mouth, especially in this heat."
You took hold of the cup, "Thank you."
She placed one hand on yours, "First time?"
Your face relaxed as the pain subsided, "Yeah." You said with a slow exhale.
"I bet your husband is excited?"
Your lips curled upwards, "You could say that." Your eyes drifted to your phone which had lit up with a notification and was now showing your background of you and Travis on vacation together. "He's going to be an amazing Father."
Heather gave your hand a squeeze, "You'll need to buy an 87 jersey!"
You lowered your eyebrows in confusion.
"My husband is a Chiefs fan, I know who your husband is." She laughed.
"Well, I'm sure I can hook you up with an autograph...ohhhhh." You groaned in agony as Heather started to put her gloves on.
"Oh sweetie, let's just have a look and see what's going on here." Heather said calmly as she began to examine you, "Oh, someone's impatient."
Your eyes widened, "What? What does that mean?"
"It means your baby is coming." She smiled as she removed her gloves and discarded them.
You placed your hands either side of your hips and lifted yourself up slightly, "What? Now? No, Travis isn't here. I need him with me."
Heather took hold of your hands in hers, "Honey, this baby isn't going to wait. He's like his Papa, quick off of the mark." She laughed as she grabbed some charts and unlocked the brakes on your bed.
You closed your eyes, willing the tears not to start falling down your cheeks. You took a few shaky breaths before frantic footsteps in the hallway caused you to open your eyes and your breath hitched when Travis bounded into your room. His face was red and sweaty from rushing around and his expression softened when he saw you.
"Baby, I'm here, I'm here. Is everything okay?" He leaned down and kissed you gently.
You smiled into the kiss, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just glad you're here. I think they're taking me now."
"What, now? Right now?" His voice was panicked.
Your eyes filled with tears, "Are you ready to be a Daddy?"
His thumb brushed over your forehead, "Absolutely."
Heather appeared in the doorway, "Are we ready?"
You pressed your lips together and nodded quickly, "I think so."
______________________________________________________________
Your eyes flickered open and the room slowly came into focus. You swallowed with difficulty, your dry throat scratching. As you turned your head on the pillow, you saw Travis standing at the window, looking outside. You could hear him mumbling with a low voice, but it was too quiet to hear what he was saying.
Clearing your throat a little first, you croaked, "Hey Daddy."
Travis turned around, a bundle of blankets nestled in his arms. He looked up at you and smiled before looking down again, "Look, Mommy's awake."
He came close to you, leaning slightly so he could place the tiny baby on your chest. You looked down at a pair of large blue eyes blinking up at you.
"This is crazy." You whispered.
Travis grinned, bending his knees so that his face was lined up with yours. He pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead, his stubble grazing your skin, "I am so proud of you, baby. You are amazing."
You sighed, "Thank you for getting here in time, I don't think I could've done it without you, baby." You voice shook.
Travis cleared his throat, his emotions taking over, "You are so strong, you can do anything. You hear me? Anything. And I am so happy to start this new chapter of our lives together." He leaned further, kissing his sons forehead, "Our little family. You, me and Dashiell Kelce."

𝒾t would not be an over-exaggeration to say that there was no greater happiness at this moment than the way the innocent bright smiles of your grandchildren filled you up with warmth, even more so given the harbor’s chilly cold breezes of the night.
“yéye, nǎinai, bye bye!” the youthful cheers were just as energetic as ever despite the lateness of the night. the tiny mostly-humans waved at the both of you, some jumping and bouncing like overexcited hatchlings, others in a calmer manner reminiscent of your husband’s temperament.
“don’t run!” you reminded them as you waved back, a fond smile stretching your lips as you watched them walk further and further into the distance. the same expression made itself home on your beloved’s face, even as your not-so-small family turned around the corner, vanishing from view. a poignant silence blanketed the two of you, the solemn tune of tranquility momentarily accompanied by the squawks of the gulls passing overhead.
a gloved hand settled on the small of your back, and you inhaled deeply in pensiveness before following the guiding push. zhongli led you towards the calm docks, making sure to choose the flattest paths so your bad knees would have the least strain. as if that wasn’t considerate enough, you knew he was also attentively judging your condition from the way you gripped his arm to help you walk.
he was ever so silent and yet, you knew his head was full of many things. he seemed to be getting especially contemplative with each of the years that passed lately.
“….. liwen is turning out to be a wise mother,” he remarked after a few minutes of silence, “perhaps she had unconsciously learned the art of parenting from dealing with all of liwei’s sudden bursts of high energy ever since they were young, do you think?”
“perhaps… but i think she learned it from you,” you chuckled, “just like how she’d perfectly replicated your special slow-cooked bamboo shoots soup.”
“to be more specific, your slow-cooked bamboo shoots soup.”
“oh, i forgot about that,” you snickered, “’soup so good even rex lapis is hopelessly infatuated with it!’…. that past self of mine sure has great foresight, hm?”
“that you did, my dear,” zhongli chuckled, eyes twinkling just like that day, but this time with his convivial smile in full view. he had long since felt comfortable enough to bare himself in front of you, knowing that you would never turned up your nose against him across all of your lifetimes.
your conversation temporarily halted so you could focus on climbing up the small steps of stairs with zhongli’s help. a series of huffs and puffs later, you sighed deeply, one hand pressed onto your cheek as your husband paused in your walk just so you could take a little breather, “dear me…. i think for your next birthday i’ll have to spend it in a wheelchair.”
“then i shall be sure to speak to master zhang to get the commission started,” zhongli smiled, “may i propose a mechanism so it can only be pushed by someone who wields geo elemental energy?“
there he goes, flirting with you again.
“and whatever will i do when i need someone to help me push the wheelchair while you’re not around, hmm?“
“are you implying i will just abandon you at the side of the road? after all these years? you wound me, darling.”
“you’re so dramatic, i swear to rex lapis.”
eyes rolling, you shared a chuckle before continuing on your way back to your modest shared abode.
as you walked, golden shadows of the past clouded your eyes, the ghosts of the past playing moments remembered before the deserted streets, unconsciously creating an upward curl on the corners of your lips.
you saw the first time you walked back home, with the newborn twins tucked safely within yours and zhongli’s arms: with you panicking internally, because dear gods you were not ready for two babies, while zhongli merely gave you a comforting smile and tried to calm your nerves with his soothing reassurances. you saw the two of you chasing the two toddlers, nearly knocking over the pots of marigolds on your front porch: zhongli panicking because liwei’s shapeshifting had gone out of control and he was practically zooming about everywhere in his dragon form, while you couldn’t help but laugh at your husband’s attempts to lead him back home without attracting too many eyes. you saw the two of you seeing off the twins, the first day they insisted on going to school by themselves, because ‘all the big kids do it and we’re big kids!’: the both of you the most anxious you had ever been in your lives, despite knowing big brother xiao would be faithfully watching the little ones and would never allow any harm to befall them.
so many memories, so many years, so many birthdays... passed in the blink of an eye.
“hey, li…,“ you hummed and squeezed his arm with your wrinkled fingers, “…….. happy birthday. even if i won’t be here to say it next year, make sure to spend it with our family, okay?”
“yes, darling.”
“don’t get too lonely, okay? i’ll be back in your arms again before you know it.”
“…. i know, my dear.”
in actuality, he would gladly spend hundreds of birthdays without you, just to spend one birthday with you. but had he told you this, he had a feeling it would add a sad frown onto your lovely face, so he refrained. so instead, he planted a kiss onto your forehead, lined and creased with age and wisdom, with a fond whisper that carried the weight of his devotion.
“i know you always will.”

Remember Me? Part 7
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6
Summary: Under the Mountain, Y/n met the High Lord of the Night Court, Rhysand. She was scared of him, but soon she found out that he wasn't who he pretended to be. Despite her efforts at not falling in love with him, she fails. It's not that bad as he loves her back.
But now he's gone, and she's left alone with nothing.
Except for a very adorable reminder of him.
•○●⛦●○•
Tw: secret pregnancy, none more that I can think of, so let me know if I need to add anything.
A/n: Tagging this as Rhys x reader because rhysie makes an appearance.
don't really like how i wrote this chapter, but thats okay...right?
also, i wanna choke rhys to death
•○🌑○•
Y/n locked the door behind her, trying her best to ignore the heated gaze she felt on the back of her head.
When she turned back to her son and him, she found him staring at her, his eyes unwavering. He felt guilty, that much she knew. What for, that she didn't.
Or maybe she did, but a part of her didn't want him to feel guilty because her son deemed him worthy of being given the title of his father.
That thought brought her to a conclusion. Talking to her son. Getting to know the reason he called the High lord of Autumn his father.
She smiled softly at Fin, deciding she'd talk to her neighbours about her abrupt departure later. She was going to ask one of her neighbour friends to let the home owner know of her departure and return the keys.
The walk to the ice cream shop was tense, though Fin obviously didn't notice as he told Y/n all about the things he and Eris did in Velaris. While Rhysand had been in their home, trying to manipulate Y/n into taking him back.
Eris occasionally chimed in, his eyes constantly fixed on Y/n, and she knew he was trying to get a reaction out of her.
Despite the fact that she barely knew anything about him and he only really cared about Fin, Y/n had a very weird feeling blooming in her chest.
Eris was... adorable.
Fin was holding both Y/n and Eris's hands as he hopped along he path, his excitement filling his little body with energy.
As soon as the ice cream shop came into view, the one where Eris and Fin had first met, Eris stilled, his leg hovering mid-air, his gaze fixed on something in the distance.
Y/n finally glanced at Eris for the first time since Fin had called him his father, a question bubbling in her mind.
Before she could ask him what the matter was, though, he turned to Y/n.
"You two proceed. I'll be right there. I remembered something I need to do."
Y/n's brow furrowed, but she nodded. The next moment, Eris was gone, vanishing between the crowd on the streets of Velaris.
"Mommy, can we go there first?" Fin questioned, making her look at him. She followed his gaze to where he was pointing. It was his favourite bakery.
"Why?" She asked, subconsciously looking around to catch a glimpse of that familiar head of hair the colour of fire.
"Because I want to say bye to Miss Alina."
Y/n's heart swelled at that. Alina was an old lady who ran the bakery, and both the old lady and Fin had taken a liking to each other. Alina had never married after her lover died, so she didn't have any family other than a dying brother. She doted on Fin as if he were her own grandchild. And Fin, having never known the love of a grandmother, had instantly become a loving grandchild to a practical stranger.
"Sure my love."
Fin grinned happily at that.
"Thank you mommy!"
•○🌑○•
"Can I ask you something Fin?" Y/n questioned as she and Fin left the bakery.
Alina had practically been on the verge of tears the moment she found that Fin was leaving Velaris. As a result, she had stuffed anything she could find in sight into a paper bag and handed it to the little boy, telling him to eat all of it.
As fin walked, trying not to jostle his treats too much, he looked over at Y/n. "Yes mama."
"Why did you call Eris daddy?"
Fin nodded like it was the most reasonable question in the world. "Because he does everything daddies do."
"Oh?"
"Yes. Daddies play with children, take them out to have fun and let them eat ice creams."
Y/n held in a surprised laugh. "Where did you learn that?"
"By myself." Fin said proudly, puffing up his chest. "I noticed Sam's daddy did all those things for him."
"That is great my love."
After a moment's silence, Fin spoke again, though his voice was quieter. "Is he not my daddy?"
Y/n blinked. She wanted to say that Eris wasn't Fin's father, but it was as if a power greater than something Y/n could understand was controlling Y/n's words. "He is your daddy."
Fin's face brightened. Then he gasped at something in front of him, and Y/n lifted her head to follow his gaze. There, stood near the railing of the Sidra, exactly where they had first met, was Eris, a slash of a cruel smirk on his mouth. And he...
Was talking to Rhys.
Feyre and Nyx also stood there next to Rhys, watching the exchange between the two high lords.
The lapse in Y/n's focus gave Fin the perfect opportunity to break free of Y/n's hold and run to where Eris was standing.
"Daddy!" Fin squealed, the sound making Rhysand turn to look. His face broke into an disbelieving smile, his eyes going wide as he stared at Fin. His eyes met Y/n's for a moment, and he looked so grateful Y/n couldn't help but feel pity for him.
Fin ran straight into Eris's arms, laughing when Eris's hands found the little boy's ticklish areas and tickled, just a little before scooping him into his arms.
When Eris met Y/n's eyes, his were filled with weariness and caution, because he knew to never mess with a mother who was protective of her child. He still smiled widely at Fin, but his eyes spoke a whole different story.
And Y/n let a little, tiny smile bloom on her face as she walked towards Eris.
His eyes widened, his smile vanishing, his lips parting in surprise. That was when Y/n realised that she had never smiled much around Eris.
If she had, it had only been directed at Fin.
That had her feeling something she had not felt in a long time.
Feeling a heated gaze on the side of her head, she turned to find find Rhys glaring holes into her.
She tried not to swallow at the cold fire in that violet gaze.
She was intimidated, but still held eye contact with her former lover.
The tension in the air increased, the world ceasing to exist around Y/n and Rhysand.
A small, sinister smile curled his lips, and a shiver wound its way up Y/n's spine. The bags under his eyes and his overall tired look made him look like he was about to level the whole of Velaris for some fun.
Y/n felt guilty and wanted nothing more than to crawl to her true love, beg for his forgiveness and be with him again. Let him back in and love him in the all consuming way she had always loved him. Sit Fin down and tell him Eris was not his father and Rhys was.
Y/n?
Y/n jolted, blinking rapidly as she searched around for the mortal scum that had stolen her lover-
Fin was looking at Y/n when she turned to him, and concern was evident in his features.
And Y/n realised three things in that moment. The first being that two people had been in her mind. The second being that Feyre was concerned and had been trying to call for Y/n, and when she didn't respond, Feyre had slipped into Y/n's mind.
And that Rhys had been trying to control her again.
Her blood boiled as she met Rhys eyes again. They were hard now and filled with murderous intent.
"Daddy, can we get ice cream now? Then we can share the cupcakes miss Alina gave me." Fin asked, and that was enough to draw Y/n's attention.
Eris shot a look between Y/n and Rhys, his brows furrowed. Y/n shook her head slightly, and then Eris turned to Fin, smiling. "Sure, let's go."
Eris walked off, asking Fin about Alina's wellbeing. Y/n watched them go, smiling slightly at the happiness on Fin's face.
Every child deserved happiness without having to worry about anything.
But her stomach churned, knowing what she was about to do next might very well ruin a child's life.
Y/n turned back to where Feyre stood, holding Nyx in her arms. Feyre had a slight smile on her face, staring after Fin and Eris as Nyx began wiggling in Feyre's arms, and she let him onto the ground.
Nyx waddled the short distance to his father, looking up at the male with wide, innocent eyes as he tugged on Rhys's pants.
"Papa? Can we go too?" He asked in a sweet voice, one that would make anyone in the world cave to his demands.
Rhys didn't bother looking at the little boy. "No."
Nyx blinked, as if not having expected the answer. "Please papa."
Rhys sighed, his frustration showing through his voice. "I said no, Nyx. Can you not understand the simple answer?"
Nyx's lip wobbled, and Y/n's heart clenched. By the look on Feyre's face, she felt the same.
"Papa please. I want to eat ice cream with Finnie." The little boy was on the verge of tears, not used to such a harsh behaviour from his father.
Rhys shot a scathing glare at the little boy. "You want to go have fun with Finnie, go. I will not come with you. Cauldron, you are getting on my nerves now."
With that, Rhysand shot into the sky, muttering to himself.
Nyx stared after him, tears escaping his eyes as he started hiccuping and sobbing loudly.
Feyre dropped to her knees next to Nyx. "It's okay baby. You and I can get ice cream with Fin without daddy."
Nyx stomped angrily, pushing away Feyre's hands as they tried to wrap around him. "No! I don't want to get ice cream without papa."
Y/n could do nothing but watch helplessly, her own heart screeching in agony.
"I hate papa." He sobbed, wiping his nose on his sleeve furiosly, still staring at the fading figure of Rhys in the sky.
"You should not say that Nyx-"
"Do you not want to spend time with Fin?" Y/n cut Feyre off, crouching next to Nyx. "Fin is going away and might not be able to meet you for long time. You should at least come to say goodbye."
Nyx's crying ceased for a moment, soft hiccups shaking his body as he seemed to think on what Y/n had said.
He sniffed loudly, glancing at Feyre before nodding. "Okay."
Feyre and Y/n led Nyx into the ice cream shop where Fin was staring at all the flavours displayed, an adorable furrow in his brow, his tiny hands on his hip like he was contemplating the best way to attack his enemies. The moment the bell above the store chimed, Fin turned to look, his face brightening at the sight of Nyx. He motioned the younger boy to come forward, which Nyx did.
The moment Nyx left, Feyre turned to Y/n.
"You're leaving?"
"Yes. About that..."
Y/n took a deep breath.
"I need to tell you something."

Hi !!! Idk if you've done this already but can you do my angel boy Gaz and Ghost with a girl who love scary movies ??? I feel like they'd totally have the mentality of "I gotta comfort her when she's scared" but Gaz specifically flinches and I think Si would like "brace" if that makes sense like wincing his eyes. I dunno if you've done something like that but your emo story reminded me of me and it made me so happy I'm a metalhead and I was gonna ask for more but it was already in there and that just mad emy day ilysm already okay bye -🫀
Simon n Gaz watching a horror movie with s/o
Tumblr media
HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Again so sorry (I’m sorry for saying sorry sm) but like Omg I love this cuz I love horror smmmm!!! Insidious, suspiria,Bwp, conjuring you name it I love them omgggg.
So thank you so much for the awesome ask and I hope you enjoy it 🩷🩷🩷
Also I used the movies sinister and lights out for the references :))
SIMON-
♰ he thought watching the movie sinister will be fun cuz he thought he could protect you from the jumpscares
♰ he needs to be protected from the damn movie tho (okay this movie is fucked up tho and it’s totally normal to be scared)
♰in the beginning he thought it will be some poorly made movie with shit ass jumpscares but boy was he wrong
♰ when the scene of the family hanging themselves comes on he was taken aback and he lets out an audible wince shutting his eyes
♰ he genuinely finds the movie scary and gory, cannot help but find himself wince and shut his eyes whenever he thinks there will be a jumpscare
♰ as the movie progressed and the other tapes were revealed he just couldn’t take it anymore, his limit broke off when the mowing scene came
♰ but you seemed to be enjoying the movie, anticipating what the next scene will reveal
♰ he shut the tv before he could see further, it was too much for him
♰ “fuckin hell love this movie is a fuckin nightmare” he groans
♰ “noo It’s a well made film :( plus I enjoy a good scare ya know”
♰ god how could you be so chill with it, he can’t tell if he should admire you or keep his distance
♰dw he admires you :)
♰ keeps on ranting about how he’d never do such a stupid fucking thing
♰ says Ellison was a stupid fuckin idiot for getting his family there and curses him for the rest of the day
♰ asks you your opinion on the movie and who you think is recording the tapes
♰ ends up going on the net to see how the movie ends cuz he can’t let it go
♰when he finds out the ending he has an ‘aha’ moment.
♰ tries watching the movie again but ends up stopping in the beginning itself cuz he can’t handle it.
♰ probably doesn’t want kids after this movie
GAZ-
♰ Awh this poor guy just wanted to watch a scary movie with you to hold you when you’re scared but it kinda ends up being the opposite
♰ you both decide on watching lights out (I wanted to pick hereditary or mother but too much cuz I’m writing this at 3am)
♰ see lights out is a Pretty chill film but Diana is creepy as hell and sadly gaz became a victim to Diana’s jumpscares
♰ when she killed the dad gaz visibly flinched like on the edge of the sofa hoping the dad would survive
♰ but boom the bitch killed him :/
♰ felt really bad for the brother (Martin)
♰sympathised with him a lot by saying he’s a good kid and that he’s really strong.
♰ surprised on how you’re not getting scared or anything
♰ thinks that you have watched this film before
♰ gaz got shit scared during the scene where Rebecca and her boyfriend came and Diana creeped around them
♰ the end made him tear up just a lil :(
♰ you ended up comforting him holding him close cuz he felt bad about their mom
♰ thinks it’s adorable how you give lil facts about the movie from time to time though.
♰ cursed Diana for the rest of the day,
♰ if you take any medications, don’t worry you’ll never miss them now cuz gaz will make sure you eat yours on time
♰ keeps the bathroom and living room lights on that night
♰ will search for movies like lights out
♰ will never watch them though
♰ is proud that he got closer to you tho
♰ will definitely hold you the entirety of the movie
♰ will never have a horror movie date again tho
♰ but will watch a horror movie with you if you ask him cuz how can he say no to you :))

can i please ask for a könig x reader where they are in a social event and könig is like moving his leg up and down all the time and reader just tries to calm him down subtly by placing their hand on his leg and after the event he thanks them?
he can thank them however you want ;0
Yes you can :)
Pairing: König x reader
Summary: König meets your friends for the first time.
A/N: I loved this request ❤️‍🔥
“Friends”
Your phone pinged constantly.
You sat on the couch giggling and typing back memes. Your group chat being overwhelmed by the 5 of you.
“But you JUST HAD to meet this guy.”
“Ended up being a cute loser.”
“So glad you’re not into him anymore”
You and your group of friends were ragging on your friend and her current miserable date. You guys kept going on telling her it was a poor choice. You put your phone down on the coffee table to go use the bathroom.
König was sitting on the couch, as you returned.
“Your phone has been vibrating non-stop schatz, I could’ve sworn it was about to fall off the edge.”
You laughed and climbed over him.
“You remember my friend who went on that blind date with the guy everyone swore was a good guy at the office?”
“Yes…” he looked at you, waiting for the story that seemed to unfold a new highlight or chapter every single day.
You started telling him about the awful date your friend had just ended. Reminding him of key points and comments your friends had previously said but your friend being so naive and playing devil’s advocate decided to dismiss.
You finished the story and stared at him.
“Can you believe that guy?”
“I can.. wow is your friend okay?”
“Yeah we’re just making fun of her now. Poor choice of a date.”
There was a small silence as König turned on the tv and then shifted towards you. Breaking the silence, he looked towards the tv and said,
“Do you think your friends would like me?”
“Of course they do.”
He shifted more towards you, facing you now.
“Mmmm that’s not what I asked.”
You put the phone down on your chest and scooted up, giving König your full attention.
“What is it?”
“I haven’t met your friends yet, do you think they would like me?”
“Of course they would. They know how great you are.”
“Why haven’t you ever decided on bringing them over?”
“What… bring them to your house?”
You never really thought about it. You gushed to your friends about meeting this guy at the supermarket one day, and it became a date after another, with some few hiccups along the way, but you knew König wasn’t a social person. You only pushed as far as he wanted, often scaling back on any sort of social events. You didn’t want to put that pressure on him.
“I think I should know your friends. You know Horangi.”
Horangi had popped up a couple times on König’s phone or computer monitors when they played games with one another.
König had briefly said some words in Korean to Horangi about you, and Horangi had started “ooooh-ing” and “ahhhhh-ing”
bringing König to blush and run into the other room. Since then, it was a quick hi and bye with Horangi, nothing more.
“I say hi and bye to Horangi.”
“Well Horangi knows of you.”
“Correct. He knows of me, says hi and bye to me. Nothing more.” You smirked and looked at him.
“Would you like me to bring them over?”
“Yes, I think it would be fair.”
“Alright…” still, you felt skeptical. König was still very shy with you, but meeting friends was something big. Almost like meeting family. You sat up and began arranging plans.
*
You planned a small get together on a Friday night. You didn’t make the plans at König’s house like he wanted to, mainly because you didn’t know if he would want your friends to linger around his house.
Your friends were somewhat loud and this was already something out of routine for him.
You approached him that night as he was getting ready.
His white t-shirt stretched over his body, his jeans were fitted and tight. He wore a blue flannel on top and no scarf. His hair was combed neatly up, no hair surrounding or covering his face. He looked so handsome, you loved when he took his time to get ready.
“We won’t be there long so don’t worry.” You came up behind him and popped out on his side.
“I’m not worried schatz,” he said calmly, but you would see small fidgeting from him. The way he drummed his fingers on the bathroom counter, he kept fixing his tips of his hair, and would double check his outfit in the mirror.
You quickly adjusted your top and called out to him down the hallway,
“Are you ready?”
You heard his footsteps coming down the hallway, broad shoulders almost covering and touching the two walls. He had his serious face on, fidgeting with the end of his flannel…when he saw your face peek out from the corner he relaxed a little more.
You reminded him.
“We won’t stay long, I promise.”
*
As you guys did valet and walked up to the restaurant you could see your friends crowded over a table tucked away in a corner.
König held your hand a little tighter, as you approached the table.
“Hi guys!” You piped as you saw them.
Immediately the entire group smiled back at you, turned their attention towards you. Each of them stood up to hug you, taking their time to look you over and show affection. How long had it been? Then turning to him to shake his hand. König felt a bit protective now. You had this group of friends that radiated towards you. Welcoming you with love, just by greeting them. Each of them welcomed him as well by association.
“It’s so good to finally meet you!”
“We can finally put a face to the name!”
A waiter came to take orders of food and drinks. By the time the food came, König had been sipping on his water and carefully picking on one of the appetizers closer to you while being polite and answering questions your friends had.
You sat there blushing and attempting to redirect the questions to anything other than your relationship.
Three hours flew by, when you realized how drunk your friend was in the corner.
One of your friends noticed König didn’t order a drink but water.
“You're not drinking tonight?” He brought it up a little too judgmental.
“No, I’m driving tonight, so none for me.” König explained, smiling.
“You can’t handle your alcohol or what?” Your friend asked again, this time another one of your friends clearly drunk, egging him on.
“Sure looks like it.”
You chimed in— “let’s not be an asshole today ok? Just because you want everyone to drink.”
You knew König didn’t like drinking, he became too dependent on it in order to push away the social anxiety. Still, your friend didn’t have to be an asshole about it. You looked at your friend and gave him a cold glare.
Your friend took the hint and chilled out.
Your other friend changed the conversation, “so what’s everyone doing for summer plans?”
König however did not like how your friend approached him. Who even cares if he drinks or not? Was it even in his interest how you two got here? Who was the sober one here? Who could take care of you? Shit should he have got a drink with them? What was his fucking deal? Was this guy ever under the influence with you in a car?
His mind raced with different questions and thoughts, then his knee bounced up and down, then he started fidgeting again by cracking his fingers, then his head realized he was cracking his fingers drawing attention to him.
Maybe he should’ve drank just to follow the crowd… was he making a bad first impression?
You could feel his knee bouncing up and down, another fidget you had mentally listed when König was overthinking.
You gently placed your hand on his leg, rubbed up and down from his knee. Then left it there. He stopped bouncing. You found his hand and gave 3 squeezes. He looked at you instantly.
A code you two shared for— “I’m tapping out, let’s go home.”
He kept his eyes on you, you looked at his chest exhale in relief. His shoulders relaxed, as his head turned back to the table. The two of you in your own world as the group remained on their own.
You got up, something about you changed,
“oh man, i'm starting to get tired, I think it’s best we leave now, I’ve got work tomorrow morning.”
König stared at you, watching the fib that came out of your mouth, grow into some cynical story to get you both out of there. Were you always this great of an actor?
He stood up and looked at everyone, “I'm so happy to have met you all, thank you for this.” Ever the polite gentleman he was, he shook everyone’s hand and hugged a few people goodbye.
You took care of the tab for the two of you, and then reached out for his hand to leave.
“Please stay,” one of your friends said. Clearly not ready for you to leave.
“We’ll catch up soon!” You responded, rubbing König’s thumb to soothe him a little more.
“I promise we’ll have more nights like these.” You quickly added and exited the restaurant.
König still hadn’t said anything to you, you pulled out the valet ticket from your jacket pocket and spoke to the man.
Once inside the car, König tipped the man and drove off. It wasn’t until you were on the highway that he exhaled loudly.
“Better?” You smiled and leaned over the console to get a better view of him.
“How do you know?” He asked.
“How do I know what?”
“You know, how do you know when I’m ready to leave?”
You laughed gently, “I just know you. When I’m ready to go, you’re pretty much ready to go too.”
He looked over from the highway towards you, smiled.
“Thank you for that.” He grabbed your chin and squeezed it a bit. Your friends could be fooled by your acting but not him. He knew you read his body language.
“And thank you for knowing how to respond to my anxiety…” he thought quietly, reaching for your hand and placing a kiss on it.
“And thank you for knowing how to respond to my anxiety…” he thought quietly, reaching for your hand and placing a kiss on it.

Peter is brand Taylor talking to real Taylor, I Look in People’s Windows is real Taylor talking to brand Taylor (the two were supposed to become one, but the more famous she gets the harder it is)😭😭
The whole theme of the album is Taylor herself and her career and how the industry has affected her, joe/matty/travis/kim are just red herrings bye im gonna go cry listening to Peter
(more details⬇️)
Tumblr media
I’m not saying that some songs aren’t about those specific people, I’m just saying they’re only PART OF the theme, I believe her father (and other big heads in the industry) had a big influence on her career and forced her to stay in the closet from the very beginning, that messed her up, she had to hide her true self and keep bearding, and in 2019 she planned to come out but didn’t because of the masters heist, now it’s because she’s gotten more famous than ever that she has too much to lose. So maybe these men he dated, she did like them and she had multiple feelings when these relationships ended, but it’s all part of who the industry had made her into; she had one true love (maybe Karlie) but she couldn’t be with that person that’s why some songs are about a true deep love lost, but that’s still part of the “her career” theme, because of her career, she can’t be with that person. (more details⬇️)
Tumblr media
What’s really interesting in this theme is that she’s calling out her father in multiple songs because he really made her life harder…
In Cassandra, (the obvious theory is that Cassandra representing gaylors bc we’ve been saying the truth but never believed. And the first verse is about her getting the news of her masters heist just before her coming out plan, and then “stone’s thrown” is referencing Stonewall.) And in the bridge “They knew the whole time that I was onto something. The family, the pure greed, the Christian chorus line. They all said nothing. Blood's thick but nothing like a payroll. Bet they never spared a prayer for my soul” she’s saying her family knew something but said nothing because greed and money, we saw the leaked emails of her father and how he cares more about making money out of Taylor’s career than caring about her as his daughter, so I think this bridge is about her father, also about religious trauma may or may not due to him.
In The Bolter, “A curious child, ever reviled by everyone except her own father. With a quite bewitching face, splendidly selfish, charmingly helpless, excellent fun 'til you get to know her, then she runs like it's a race” she’s talking about herself being a precocious uniquely intelligent ambitious child, which everyone reviled except her father. why? because he wanted to invest money on her, he controlled how she conducted her career from the beginning.
What’s crazier is that Robin may be about her father too. That song sounds like a sweet song but she’s faking it like “all this showmanship to keep it for you in sweetness”. If she’s referring to her father (only wanting to make money out of her career) in this song then “you’re an animal, you are bloodthirsty” makes so much more sense. And the “buried down deep and out of your reach, the secret we all vowed to keep it from you in sweetness” her father probably knows about her queerness but wants her and everyone to keep it quiet.
In But Daddy I Love Him, “people only raise you to cage you” is pretty obvious about her father forcing her to stay in the closet, and “people try and save you cause they hate you” is literally about homophobes. “Dutiful daughter, all my plans were laid” is about her father laying all the plans for her, which isn’t always what she wants. “I'd rather burn my whole life down, than listen to one more second of all this bitching and moaning. I'll tell you something about my good name, it's mine alone to disgrace” reminds me of that scene in Miss Americana where her father was lecturing why she couldn’t public her opinions. “Thinking it can change the beat of my heart when he touches me. And counteract the chemistry, and undo the destiny” is so queer coded. “Sanctimoniously performing soliloquies I'll never see / You ain't gotta pray for me” another reference to religious trauma.
So all of this, about her father, about her lover and other men, it’s all connected to her career and she’s looking back at it, thinking and reflecting on it, that’s it that’s the blog

How OP men would react in a situation where you get anxious (Straw hats men! x fem! reader)
A/N: Just working... bye -Val
Characters: Sanji, Luffy and Zoro
Words: 1,612
Warnings: Mentions of anxiety and panic attacks
Sanji:
Tumblr media
Storm
You wake up as another lighting strikes the peaceful silence in the Going Merry. Your body’s covered in sweat, your heartbeat pounding on your chest and the tears dripping down your cheeks. “Shit, shit, stop!” You say at loud as you cover your ears. “Please,” you sob.
You always wanted to be like those people who enjoy the sound of the rain and are fascinated by lighting, but no...
“Fuck! Stop!” You leave your bed, feeling frustrated and exit your room.
The storm makes the ship lurch dangerously sideways, making you tremble in the corridors. The place you reach without thinking is the kitchen, and you fall inside immediately and crawl behind the counter.
“Y/N?” You hear a voice, but your trembling body won't let you react to it “Sweetheart, are you okay?” Sanji kneels in front of you.
Another lighting strike makes you squeal before you can say anything.
Sanji frowns. “The storm?” He asks.
You feel his strong arms move you to his lap and hug you against his chest.
“It’s gonna be okay, sweets,” he coos as he caresses your back. You clutch your hand on his shirt like your life depends on it, his body heat and tender touches try to calm you. “I got you, baby. Nothing’s gonna happen to you, I promise.”
He keeps saying sweet reassuring things to you as if the storm isn’t out there.
“You’re so brave, Y/N,” The storm is fading little by little. “So strong and smart. Don’t worry about anything, you can trust me. Oh! You know what this reminds me?” He doesn’t wait for an answer, “When we made that complicated cake,” he chuckles. “I was scared and anxious, but you reassured and trusted me. You helped me in the kitchen, and we made a total disaster all over the place.”
You remember too. You raise your head to watch him.
“We burned the mix three times!” He exclaims laughing. “And the flour was more in your face than in the cake,” You giggle at that, so he lowers his head and smiles softly at you. “We did it at the end, didn’t we?” You nod. “But you never gave up on me,” he leans and kisses your forehead. “Are you feeling better, love?”
You nod again. “Thank you, Sanji.”
“There’s nothing to thank, darling. It's a pleasure to have you in my arms. You know what I’m thinking?”
“What?
He moves his arms to hold you tighter. “I’m starting to think my arms are made for holding you.”
You smile. “I think so too,” You lean to kiss his cheek.
Luffy
Tumblr media
Being in the spotlight
“So, is it true that you’re the only one without a devil’s fruit?” A girl interrupts your walk.
“Uh?”
“Who’s the stronger Straw-hat?” Asks another boy.
“How did you defeat that super strong man?” The people surround you and ask you many questions.
 “Are you dating someone?”
“Is it true that you’re the future pirate queen?”
Your body starts to shake, it’s hard to breathe and your hands are covered in sweat. “Please, just back off. I don’t know—”
“Are you having a family with Monkey D. Luffy?”
“Who’s more handsome?”
Meanwhile, Luffy’s enjoying food at the corner when he hears his name. He turns to look for the person, but he stops startled as he sees all the people reunited on the other side of the room.
“Nami,” she’s by his side. “What’s going on there?” He points.
“I don’t know.”
“Guys!” Usopp arrives taking off his binoculars “They’re surrounding Y/N!”
“What?”
Luffy stretches his neck, and he finds you in distress. “Usopp,” he pokes his arm. “I have an idea.”
**
The lights turn off and then, just one reflects to the other side of the room. “Ladies, and gentlemen,” Usopp appears. “May I have your full attention, please? I want to show you something. I’m sure you’ve never seen before!” He moves dramatically. “And for that, I need everybody to walk closer to me!” The crowd move slowly, curious about the new show.
Out of nowhere, you feel a grip on your waist and are pulled until you crash into a body. You open your mouth to protest but Luffy makes a sign to be quiet. He lifts you, so your legs hug his low waist, and you hold him by the neck. Luffy jumps and runs out the window and through the big house’s roof to finally land in a flat part.
When he makes sure you can stand, he lets you go.
“Holy shit!” You’re heavy breathing and put a hand on your chest as you sit down.
“Are you okay?” Luffy asks.
“No, Luffy. I’m not okay. A million people cornered me, asking me stupid questions and they demanded answers, then being treated like a fucking ragdoll and fly to the damn roof!” You yell at him exhaling all the frustration.
He moves awkwardly, not knowing what to do. “So, how do you feel now?” He smiles.
You frown standing up. “Why do you ask me that? How blind are you? I'm annoyed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. They don’t know about us; they don’t know me. I mean, how dare they ask me all that bullshit and treated me like I’m the weak one of the group? Shit! Someone asked if I’m having children with you! We saved them two minutes ago and they want our gossip? Why?”
“You should scream!” He raises his arms.
“What?”
“Scream! Like this!” He screams like an animal as he jumps many times. “C’mon! Your turn!”
You’re so confused by now, but your body’s shaking still so you obey him. Both of you scream so loud that your throats hurt. Somehow, that helps and makes you feel lighter. After a while, you look at Luffy and he smiles wide. You hug him tight.
“Thank you, Lu.”
He giggles. “You’re welcome!” He hugs you back. “Now, I’ll go for more food for us,” he says ending the hug.
Zoro:
Tumblr media
Crowd
The city’s downtown is crowded, and it’s the stupid festival's fault, Zoro thinks.
You two must find Luffy before the Marines do, but the people and all the distractions make it difficult. At some point, Zoro feels your small hand grabbing his wrist and he turns to see you out of breath and trying not to get lost, the people are moving and crashing into your body like you aren’t there.
“Shit,” he murmurs. Zoro quickly takes your hand and leans at your height. “Y/N, hey. Breathe, breathe for me, c´mon,” You look at his eyes with fear.
“I can’t—I have to... Zoro, help,” you try to say.
He nods ignoring his lack of orientation and he takes all his focus on getting you safely out of there. He pulls you closer to his body, then he remembers Nami’s words ‘If you need to return to the ship, follow where the big fish statue is, and you’ll see the Merry—Zoro, wake the hell up!’ He shakes his head.
“The big fish!” He yells and points at the other side of the fountain in the middle. “Let’s go, I got you,” he tells you as he puts an arm around you and starts to push people away. He can feel your tense body and he checks your status every few minutes. “Don’t worry, we’re almost there.”
The second he says that a loud bang is heard, causing panic among the people. They run and scream everywhere.
“Zoro!” You yell.
“Fuck!” He thinks fast as he kneels near you. “Hop up!” He points at his back.
You jump, hold his neck and place your legs around his waist, hiding your face on his shoulder. Zoro makes sure you’re okay and run as fast as he can. Although some people push him, he continues his way without stopping.
You close your eyes as the tears fall without control. You can’t think of anything else but to hold Zoro.
“Y/N, hey,” Zoro whispers. You open your eyes slowly and realize that you are back on the ship.
You sit down, back against the wood handrail and Zoro kneels in front of you. “There you go,” he smirks looking at your eyes and grabbing your face. “How do you feel?”
You analyze yourself, checking if your body is complete; your heart isn’t rising anymore. You’re… fine. “I’m okay,” you smile. “Thanks to you”.
He nods caressing your cheek. “Are you sure? Do you need anything?”
“Just… just you, please,” He moves to your side, and he lifts you to his lap as he holds you to his chest. “I was so scared,” you mumble. You feel his kiss on your forehead.
“It’s okay, it’s over now.”
“Have I ruined everything?”
“Usopp found Luffy, and the others are coming, you don’t have to worry.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t say crap like that, everybody’s scared of something.”
“You aren’t,” You lean back to look at him.
“I was scared too,” he looks away. “Don’t tell anyone.”
“About what?”
“Let’s just— uh,” he groans, “just let me hold you before someone sees us.” He pulls you back again.
“But what scared you?”
“Forget it.”
“But I want to help you, what if it happens again?”
“It won’t, I’ll make sure of it.”
“But—”
“Lose you, okay!? Scared the shit out of me, damn it!”
“Oh.”
After a minute of silence, you hug him again.
“You’re my hero, baby,” You smile hearing his scoff.
“Shut up,” you giggle and you’re sure he’s smiling too.
“My knight in shiny armor.”
He puts a hand over your mouth.

My honest reactions of episodes 5 and 6 (part 2)
PART 1 : HERE
(‼️ SEASON 4 SPOILERS ‼️)
.
.
.
.
.
.
Okay I just HAD to devote the full Alibert inn scene from episode 5 here CUZ WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT YUGO GOING BACK TO EMELKA!! I know I already mentioned Chibi and Grougal (as well as the tree Tofu tower) in part 1 but part 2 will basically be about all the rest of the inn scene cuz tumblr couldn’t let me have more than ten images per post (I know the site apparently lets u have more but I always use the phone for it so shush.)
But first, we finally get to see Alibert again after all those years 💕
Tumblr media
Alibert. Sweetie. Baby. You can take care of two (technically four) kids with the addition of a freaking INN, you COOK for the customers, AND, ON TOP OF ALL THAT, you’re the MAYOR of EMELKA, that same place where you run the inn and take care of your adopted sons.
You do much more than just “taking care of an inn”, you got three jobs AND you’re still sane. You’re three in one, a whole package, props to you king. He’s such a boss ass man I love him 💕💕
Tumblr media
NAH MAN
Not these ppl trying to avoid the inflation 😭😭 I don’t blame them tho. I would’ve said the same thing lol.
(Also is the wine a call back to Gustavio? Plz it would be so funny if the reason why Alibert is angry is cuz these ppl are saying how “bad” it is just so the prices can stay the same but also because he’s mad that they’re calling Gustavio’s wine “disgusting” even if they were all just trying to make him not raise the prices!)
Tumblr media
Love how Yugo doesn’t say that same shit to Ruel after all those years of cooking for his ass and never getting anything from him.
Like even the whole Brotherhood calls Ruel a “cheapskate” but the only time where we see Yugo say that same shit is when he says that to his own CUSTOMERS?!?
Gurl bye Yugo’s such a silly little hypocrite!! 😭😭
OMG THE WHOLE FAMILY’S BACK TOGETHER!!
Tumblr media
Adamaï get your stupid lizard ass over here.
It’s been so long since I’ve seen these two just laughing and hugging like this 💕💕💕
Also, Ankama tried being very slick with Az and his wife.
Nah cuz how can you not see these two and not think about Yugo and Amalia?? Does the thought never come to mind or what??
They literally give off the same energy, how did no one say anything before???!!?
Tumblr media
THESE LITTLE TOFUS ARE OBVIOUSLY A SILLY PARALLEL TO THESE TWO AND NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE.
Okay now the next part of the Alibert inn scene is very important to me so listen.
Recently, I came scrolling on @moths-are-better’s recent posts about Yugo and I came up on the one where he drinks the “milk” that was in the cup in the scene below.
Tumblr media
But like-
@moths-are-better STOP LYING TO YOURSELF THIS IS CLEARLY WINE!!!
Look at all the other people drinking in the inn before they left: they all had that same kind of cup, insinuating that they were drinking wine (and also cuz they confirmed it was wine while trying to avoid any possible future inflations with Alibert).
I just love how Ankama deliberately shows us small scenes like this to remind us that Yugo can do adult things even though he looks like a kid. Because THIS is one of those scenes! Just look at how Alibert quietly pulls the cup of wine away from Yugo as soon as the guy starts ranting about his problems.
Tumblr media
That’s clearly not milk lol I just love your delusions @moths-are-better 💕💕
But not only did this scene made me realize that nothing can stop Yugo from doing adult things despite how he looks, it also helped me realize that Yugo is the type to only drink when he’s having problems. We clearly see him about to drink more while ranting to Alibert before he carefully pulls the wine away from Yugo cuz he KNOWS Yugo would drink more just for that.
Tumblr media
That level of attention to detail is amazing and I’m so glad I managed to catch up to the hints early on.
Alibert be looking like Yugo’s bartender AND therapist in just that moment alone lol
Ngl I would’ve loved to see a drunk Yugo if he had been able to drink more before Alibert intervened.
Tumblr media
‼️ EVERYONE ‼️
👏 BE👏 LIKE 👏 ALIBERT 👏 ❤️❤️
This is making me wanna have kids too man….
His caring and calming attitude towards Yugo and the way he just treats him, cares for him, and acts like a responsible parent during all these years really makes me wanna do the same thing someday. Alibert is so good at his job(s) that he’s even beating a freaking goddess. Let that sink in. (actually any good parent like Alibert would beat the Eliatrope goddess’ parenting easily lol)
Alibert is genuinely so sweet, patient, thoughtful, and understanding of Yugo. Like even though he just heard Yugo say he finally found his true family, Alibert doesn’t take his words as insults and would rather just let him spill out all of his words to him.
When I said I missed these two like this, I really meant it. This inn is not only where Yugo was raised in but it’s also Yugo’s comfort place.
Tumblr media
My ass knows this is foreshadowing.
It just knows.
Older Yugo where u at? We need to talk.
Ankama’s gonna ruin this family and laugh about it while eating some croissants.

Remember the server/waiter AU... Well, I wrote the first chapter... Here you go loves :) (Warning: It's almost 3k words)
Steve can’t catch a break.
And by that, he means that not a single one of his dates are going well.
He doesn’t know what it is about the girls in Hawkins, but the Harrigton charm isn’t working the way it used to. Sure, he works at Family Video and his only friends are mainly children and Robin, but that doesn’t equate to the fact that he can’t go steady with a single girl. Hell, he can’t even make it past the first date.
At this point, his wallet is starting to get smaller and smaller, and the staff at Enzo’s have all memorized his name and order.
He relays all of this to Robin who laughs at his misery and says, “At this point, you need to start going to some cheap diner for your dates because I know Family Video isn’t paying you more than they’re paying me. And you certainly are getting a pay cut with all the movies your kids keep hogging until they’re overdue. You can’t always wave the fee, you know.” Robin huffs as they hit a slight bump and her mascara wand bumps her eyelid.
“Don’t worry. I never wave Mike’s fee, and he’s usually the one hogging them. But hey, you make a good point. Think I should go to Linda’s Diner next time?” Steve asks turning into the parking lot.
Robin twists the cap back on the mascara and comments, “It’ll certainly weed out the gold diggers, that’s for sure.”
“Maybe that’s for the best.”
Robin climbs out of the car and makes eye contact with Steve over the roof. “It definitely is. Now come on before Keith loses his shit at us being three minutes early instead of five.”
“You act like I wasn’t going to same speed as you,” Steve argues.
They continue bickering throughout the first part of their shift, stopping only when things get busy. In that time, Steve manages to flirt his way into a date that night with a girl named Melinda, although Robin sends him warning looks the whole interaction.
Once the store is dead again, Steve saunters over to Robin. “Did you see the hot chick I’m going on a date with tonight?”
“Did you not see the crazy eyes I was giving you?” Robin shoots back.
“Come on. She even agreed to meet me at Linda’s Diner. What’s wrong with this one?’ Steve leans back against the counter with his arms crossed.
“She has red hair, Steve! You know who else has red hair?”
“Vickie,” they both say at the same time.
“Need I remind you of what she did?” Robin says, frantically sorting through the stack of returns, handing Steve tapes to rewind.
“Trust me, I remember,” Steve cringes and begins rewinding tapes. “But you can’t just blame the entire ginger population on behalf of her... decisions.”
“It’s a very small population, Steve. I just might,” Robin says, waving a tape aggressively in the air to punctuate her point.
“Careful there. You’re turning that tape into a weapon.”
Robin sighs and puts the tape down, glancing at the clock. She nudges Steve and tilts her head towards the clock. “Think we can close five minutes early?” Robin asks.
Steve glances around at the empty store and empty parking lot and nods. “Yeah.”
The pair rush around to grab their stuff from the staff room and quickly turn off the lights and lock up. When Steve gets in the car, he says, “You know what’s great about diners?”
Robin hums in response as she tugs off her vest.
“I can wear my work clothes on a date there.” Steve beams and drums his hands on the steering wheel to the song playing over his stereo. He feels Robin jab something against his arm. He glances down when he gets to a stop sign and sees the deodorant Robin’s pressing against him. Steve throws her an apologetic look and immediately puts it on.
When Steve pulls up outside of Robin’s house, she says, “Can’t wait to hear about how awful this date goes. Bye dingus!”
“Just because she has red hair doesn’t mean-” Steve gets cut off when Robin slams the car door shut. “...that it will go poorly,” Steve finishes his thought, mumbling to himself.
The rest of the drive is uncomfortably quiet even with the music, reminding Steve why he goes through the effort of all the failed dates.
Maybe this one will be different.
He arrives and finds parking on the street in front of the diner. He notes that he’s about fifteen minutes early which is perfect for fixing his hair then scoping out the best spot for a date.
With about ten minutes remaining, Steve makes his way inside. A bell jingles, signaling his entrance and barely any patrons glance up. Luckily, there are only a few people there, not too busy and not empty enough to signal that Steve might get food poisoning. He glances at the sign that signals for customers to seat themselves and makes his way to the front corner of the diner. Steve sits facing the entrance and begins glancing out the window.
In the reflection, he catches the door to the kitchen swing open. He glances over and makes eye contact with one of the waiters who stops in his tracks. The sound of silverware clattering to the ground rings out along with a whispered, “Shit,” as the waiter bends down and picks it up. He throws them into a bin and picks up two more sets and two menus and makes his way to Steve.
Steve feels his mouth go dry as the man comes fully in view. He’s wearing an awful server’s hat, a red button down with black jeans, and a ridiculous white apron around his waist that Steve can’t take his eyes off.
“Trust me when I say they don’t pay me enough to wear this,” the waiter deadpans as he sets down the utensils and menus.
“How’d you know that there would be two people?” Steve asks for some reason.
“I just kind of assumed it would be a date.”
“Why’s that?” Steve questions, genuinely curious.
“I’ve never seen someone work so hard on their hair before for nothing.”
Steve’s eyes widen. How’d he know?
“Your car window is pretty clean, man. It’s a clear shot through our windows to yours.” He nods his head towards where Steve’s car is parked.
Steve can feel himself turn bright red.
“Not that there’s anything wrong with that! It looks... it looks good,” the other man finishes lamely. He clears his throat. “Anyways, I’m Eddie, I’ll be your waiter today at this fine dining establishment. What can I get you and your date to drink?”
“I have no idea about her, but I’ll get a water,” Steve answers. Eddie weirdly stares back at him for a few moments. “Is there something wrong with your water?” Steve questions.
Eddie shakes his head. “I just took you as a Coke person. But water impresses the girls I guess,” Eddie says with a shrugs and walks off.
Steve finds himself watching Eddie, specifically the long curly ponytail that he managed to miss before. It swings a bit as the guy walks away, matching the slight swivel his hips make. And why is he staring at this man’s ass? It’s just because of the bow above it from the apron that draws attention to that specific part of his body. That’s all.
The front door bell rings out, and Steve is snapped out of his thoughts. He glances over and sees Melinda scrunching her nose up at the diner. Eventually she makes eye contact with Steve, who waves her over to the table.
She struts over and hesitantly sits on the opposite side of the booth.
“Hi,” Steve says with a smile.
“Hi,” she responds, voice more nasally than Steve remembered.
“Two waters,” Eddie suddenly announces appearing at the table, setting the drinks down. “Did you want anything else to drink, ma’am?”
Melinda looks Eddie up and down in clear distaste, looks away and shakes her head.
Eddie’s eyebrows furrow and his mouth forms a tight line. He looks about two seconds away from saying, “They don’t pay me enough for this shit.” Steve thinks it’s probably something he says often.
“Okay!” Eddie says with false joy, “I’ll leave you two to our wonderful selection for a few more minutes unless you’re ready to order.”
“I’m not getting anything to eat,” Melinda says pushing the menu aggressively away.
Steve makes eye contact with Eddie for a split second trying his best to look apologetic.
“I’ll give you a moment to think,” Eddie says to Steve and leaves shaking his head.
“Do you want to split a milkshake or something?” Steve suggests.
“If it’s strawberry,” Melinda replies flatly.
Steve nods and smiles. Melinda glances out the window looking as if she would want to be anywhere else. “How was your day?” Steve asks, hoping that maybe she had a bad day resulting in the bad mood.
“Fine,” she replies.
Steve has no idea why he didn’t listen to Robin. He prays the milkshake will help. And fries. He gets hangry too sometimes.
Eddie blessedly makes his way back to the table, sticky note pad in hand. “Have you decided on anything?” He asks Steve.
“We’re going to get a strawberry milkshake and fries.”
Melinda shoots Steve s look that he catches in his peripheral vision. Maybe fries were a bad idea. Eddie scribbles on the sticky note in what looks like very large font and says, “Fantastic choice,” dripping in sarcasm. His eyes flicker over to Melinda who stares out the window, arms crossed.
Eddie flips the sticky note pad over which reads “RUN!” Steve puts a hand over his mouth, trying to cover his laughter. For the first time, Eddie gives Steve a real smile and hurries away saying, “Coming right up!”
Melinda sighs heavily immediately killing Steve’s good mood.
“Are you okay?” Steve asks.
“I just wish that you would’ve asked me first before you added fries to our order.”
Steve genuinely apologizes, “I’m sorry. Is there something wrong with fries?’
Melinda huffs and rolls her eyes. “No.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t understand what I did.”
“You added them without consulting me first. It’s just something Bobby used to do.”
“Bobby?” Steve questions.
“My ex. He was so annoying. Always getting stuff without asking me my opinion. Like he bought this jean jacket and didn’t ask me before he started wearing it. And it was so embarrassing for me and a betrayal of my trust. Who does that?” Melinda says throwing her arms up.
“I mean-”
Melinda cuts Steve off. “And then he got mad at me, saying that I was too controlling. As if it wasn’t his fault. We were supposed to tell each other everything. Besides, it ruined our whole couple aesthetic.” She looks Steve up and down for a moment. “You can keep the hair; we’ll work on your style later.”
Steve’s jaw drops and eyebrows raise, unsure how to respond. Apparently, Eddie is equally a good judge of character as Robin. As soon as Steve finds himself thinking of Eddie, he appears suddenly again with the milkshake and basket of fries. “For the lovely couple,” Eddie says with a large grin, and Steve fights to not roll his eyes at him.
Steve thanks Eddie who hovers with a smile. Melinda lifts her hand and flicks her wrist at Eddie, as if ushering him away.
Eddie’s eyes fill with rage. Steve cuts off Eddie’s meltdown by doing exactly what he knows will enrage Melinda. He takes a fry and dips it in the milkshake.
Her face flushes red. Steve puts the final nail in the coffin and says, “I’m actually shaving my head tomorrow.”
Melinda scoots out of the booth saying, “This isn’t going to work out. Have a good life.” She struts out of the building. Eddie and Steve watch as she storms out, gets into her car and starts apparently screaming and punching her steering wheel.
“See, clear shot,” Eddie comments and walks towards the kitchen. Steve stares as Melinda drives away, nearly causing an accident in the process. Steve sighs and puts his head in his hands. He sits by himself for a few minutes, working his way through the basket of fries.
A plate slides in front of him. Steve takes in the stack of pancakes with a wonky smiley face made of chocolate chips on top. It’s even decorated with fantastic whipped cream hair. He even got Steve glass of Coke.
Eddie slides into the booth where Melinda was sitting. Steve can’t help but think that he’s certainly a sight for sore eyes. Eddie looks bashfully at the display and says, “It’s on the house. Think of it as compensation for the free entertainment.”
Steve laughs and shakes his head, he reaches over to where Eddie’s hands rest on the table, fiddling with his rings. Steve puts a hand on top of Eddie’s and squeezes it. “Thank you,” he says sincerely. He takes some of his remaining fries and gives the face eyebrows and a mustache.
“A masterpiece that rivals the Mona Lisa,” Eddie says.
“Rivals?” Steve questions. “It’s edible so automatically it’s worth way more.” He picks up his fork and digs into the art.
Eddie gasps. “Our beautiful creation!”
Steve swallows the bite and says, “I just needed to taste test it.”
“Oh, of course. You’re absolutely right... So, how does it taste? Valuable?”
Steve takes his time cutting a new piece and chewing it thoughtfully. Eddie eagerly awaits his response. Steve hums. “I’m getting notes of...”
“Chocolate?” Eddie supplies.
“Yes.”
“Whipped cream?”
“Correct again.”
“And.... this is a stretch... pancake.”
Steve gasps dramatically. “How did you know?”
“It’s like I made it or something.”
“Ah,” Steve says and nods. The pair stare at each other for a few moments then Eddie starts giggling, and Steve snorts leading them into a full laughing fit.
A loud cough interrupts the two of them and Eddie sighs, “Guess I have to do my job. Capitalism, am I right?” He slides out of the booth, and Steve watches as he goes to the other table, bring them their ticket and taking their cash to the register.
He quickly finishes off the pancakes and Coke, glad to actually have some semblance of a real meal that wasn’t just fries. He fishes his wallet out of his pocket and leaves ten dollars on the table, not wanting to take the pancakes and Coke assumedly out of Eddie’s paycheck.
He walks up to the counter and leans on it saying, “Thank you for turning a bad date into a good one. Uh- I mean... not like that. You know what I mean.”
A teasing smile lights up Eddie’s face as he flirts, “Oh, I know what you mean.” He punctuates it with a wink which has Steve blushing. What the hell?
Steve nods and smiles at Eddie, heading towards the door. “See you around, Eddie.”
“See you around... uh, pretty boy.”
Steve’s head whips around.
“I don’t have a name, so I gave you the first one that came to mind,” Eddie slyly says.
“It’s Steve,” he replies, not knowing what else to say.
“Steve,” Eddie repeats, and Steve finds that he really likes hearing him say it. He waves at him and makes his way out of the diner and into his car. He starts laughing and remembers what Eddie had said before and glances through the glass of the diner. He finds Eddie laughing as well and doing a cute little jig around.
He suddenly freezes and looks up through the window, directly at Steve.
He was right. It’s a clear shot.

"And you're really going to leave me alone to watch our kids?"
AND WHAT IF I SIMPLY PASSED AWAY. WHAT THE FUCK IM IN PAINNNNNN
LKASLKASLK but honestly, it just makes so much sense. they're like two sides of the same coin. If a whole high school can dub them "the king and queen" with no hesitation, you best believe those mischievous lil shits would call them "mom and dad" without missing a beat. only thing was, it alternates most of the time. sometimes it was steve who gets called the mom, and she gets called the dad, and vice versa. either way, they're both "the parents" of the group and it's been like that ever since.
Robin always jokingly called them an "old married couple" because of how much they argued with each other and that the youngsters were "their kids" with how much the group was always seen together in such a family dynamic.
It always annoyed the two of them so much because the thought of being together was repulsive since "who would want to be married to someone who only complains about everything" and "why would i want to put up with someone who thinks his way is the only way" and so on. Robin could only laugh at the way they can never look each other in the eye every time they're called a "couple" and the way Steve never fails to turn red every time. Idiots, amirite?
But it wasn't until they somehow ended up the only two people dropping the kids off at summer camp that Steve saw how fitting it was.
He was giving Dustin a rundown of any and all advice he could think of, from "make sure to follow the rules and keep safe", and "try and win as many games as you can but don't forget to have fun", and reminding him not to forget sunscreen and to keep an eye over the others, etc. Steve ended it with a good ol ruffling of Dustin's hair which the young boy groaned in annoyance,
"Thanks for driving us here, Dad."
It was joking yet loving all the same. Steve rolled his eyes but he couldn't wipe the smile off his face or the warm feeling he got in his chest.
And when he went looking for you so he could annoy you and say that it was time to go and to hurry your slow ass up, he caught you in the middle of saying goodbye with El.
"Bye, mom, drive back home safe," the young girl had giggled. You laughed with her, but he had never seen you smile so bright and so proud as you gave her one last hug.
Steve couldn't explain why his heart felt funny and warm and fuzzy all of a sudden.
Then the two of you were arguing over who gets control of the radio the minute he pulled back onto the road, from the whole "my car my rules" to "shotgun privileges" and kept arguing the whole way back to Hawkins over the smallest things you both could think of.
But you and him being mom and dad to the kids? The thought never left Steve since.

Thirty To Regain
Parings: Kim Minji x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sypnosis: 10 months of loss, thirty to regain.
Genre: Slight angst
Tumblr media
Memories came flooding in of the bitter yet sweet memory of your first love as you reenter your apartment for the first time in 10 months.
Kim Minji was everywhere you looked, in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, everywhere. There wasn’t a single place that stood without her memories.
You felt as if you were going crazy as you heard a ghostly echoes of her laughter.
The place you once called “Home” haven’t been the same since she left. Because she was your home but now that she’s gone, home doesn’t exist.
You turned to your right, facing a bulletin board filled with polaroid pictures of you and Minji.
You took one of the pictures out, it was taken right when she stole your first kiss. You haven’t smiled like that in ages, or even smiled at all.
As you were looking through all of the photos, a sudden phone call rung, startling you in the process. “Hi mom” you immediately relaxed after hearing her voice.
“Hi honey, when are you flying back home?”
“Maybe next week? And how are you mom? Is dad giving you a hard time?”
“I’m managing, but honey, your dad is getting suspicious, but I can hold him on for a little longer. Just make sure to be back before your engagement party.”
You frowned after hearing the two last words, you hated getting reminded of that, after all it’s the reason why things are the way it is.
“Right. Don’t worry, I won’t disappoint you.”
“Oh honey, you could never disappoint me. Your happiness is my happiness, I’ll support whatever you decide to do in the end. Just know that mom will always be on your side, I love you.”
“I love you too mom, good bye.” You felt better after the call, your mom have always been your biggest supporter since day one. Can’t say the same for your dad though.
You held your breath as you went into your bedroom, it was still the same as how you left it 10 months ago except for the fact that her stuff was gone.
All was left was a teddy bear, one that she won for you at the carnival that you guys went to, on your first date.
You lifted the toy and traced its fuzzy fur. A teddy bear filled with memories of the times Minji would jokingly call him your son. She gave it a purpose, but now that she’s gone, it’s just an object.
Before you even knew it, tears were threatening to fall as you were clutching the teddy bear to your chest. Fresh air, you needed fresh air.
With a heavy heart, you placed the bear back to its rightful position before you ran out of your apartment.
You went anywhere your feet would take you to, you just wanted to stop reliving your memories.
But walking through the streets of Seoul wasn’t any better, she was everywhere being a member of NewJeans after all.
They were getting bigger and bigger everyday, you have always been their biggest supporter then and even now. Even before you got together with her, you were also extremely close with the girls.
So when Minji went back to the dorms with a broken heart after you had broken up with her, they were all understandingly upset at you.
Especially Hyein who’s your little cousin, she wouldn’t talk to you for days but then found out about your dad’s plan of marrying you off.
You had to beg her not to tell her members but it was too late since she already told Hanni, Dani, Haerin, and luckily not Minji.
That night, your phone was blowing up with concerned messages from the girls. You were always grateful to have them in your life, they treated you like family.
It felt like time was slowing down as your feet carried you through a familiar street which you missed dearly. Soon, you find yourself heading inside of a cafe you once visited regularly.
The smell of roasted beans and baked goods hit your nose immediately after stepping foot inside of the cafe.
You decided that it was a good time for a hot drink. After putting in your regular order, you waited a bit for the worker to finish with it before finding a place to sit.
You sipped your hot chocolate and was about to pull out your phone when you were interrupted by a gasp from behind .
“Yn unnie?” A familiar voice called out. You turned around and was shocked to face Hyein and Haerin who were both as equally shocked.
“Unnie we missed you!” Your cousin immediately went to hug you with Haerin doing the same after the younger girl stepped aside.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming back?” Hyein pouted and slapped your arm playfully, causing you to let out a chuckle.
“Sorry, I don’t plan on staying long anyways. Just for a few days since…well, uh, I’m getting engaged next week.” You explained regretfully, your voice dropping when you spoke about the engagement.
“What? That’s so soon…what about Minji unnie? You still love her don’t you?” Haerin questioned with her curious cat like eyes, you couldn’t help but soften up.
“Of course I do, Rin. I still love her a lot, but it’s complicated.” Truth to be said, all you wanted to do was run back to Minji and beg her to take you back.
“Still, I think Minji unnie deserves to know about it, it’s only fair.” The younger girl insisted gently, earning an agreeing nod from Hyein.
“Haerin unnie is right! Yn unnie, you should tell her, she doesn’t deserve to stay in the dark.”
Both of the girls looked at you pleadingly, they were sick of having to hide such a big secret from Minji, it didn’t feel right.
But you didn’t feel any better, it was eating you alive.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, she’ll only hate me more. Plus, I’ve already broken her heart and to find out that I’m getting married too? I can’t do that to her.” During the time when you were still dating Minji, the biggest thing that you guys had after love was trust.
You both trusted each other so much, never hiding anything from one another. So hiding this from her even if you guys aren’t together, was killing you inside.
The girls stayed quiet for a moment, trying to find the right words to comfort you.
“You’re wrong, she doesn’t hate you. Unnie still have your pictures hung on her wall and stuff and sometimes I would find her just looking at it for 10 minutes straight.” Hyein admitted after seeing the sad expression that laid on her cousin’s face.
“Really?” Your eyes widened up at the information before looking at Haerin to confirm.
She nodded. “Yeah I witnessed it too, more than once actually.”
Hyein placed a hand on your shoulder, looking at you pleading. “I feel like a child of divorced parents. Unnie I really don’t like your future fiancé, she’s so mean.”
You sighed knowing full well that she was right. You’ve known your future wife since you were kids but never liked her. She was snobby, mean, and an entitled brat.
She used to always follow you around and would hit anyone who tried to talk to you, Hyein was one of them. She was only 6 when she got pushed to the ground while trying to play with her older cousin.
It was when the younger girl’s resentment started to grow.
“I know Hye, but I don’t have a choice.”
“Still, you should talk to her. You both really need it.”
You nodded in defeat, you could never reject your baby cousin. “I’ll think abo-“ you didn’t get to finished your sentence as you got interrupted by the notifications from your phone.
Tumblr media
A sigh escaped your lips as you read one of the many messages that your dad spammed you with. Totally ruining your once happy mood.
Turning to Haerin and Hyein with a sad smile, you said. “It was wonderful meeting you girls, but I have to take this, sadly.”
You hugged them both for the last time before disappearing out of their sight.
“Who were you two talking to” Minji popped out of nowhere, startling the two girls in the process.
“Uh, we were talking to Y-“ Hyein was stopped by Haerin who stomped on her toes. “No one, we were taking to no one”
“Are you sure?” They nodded in sync, it was suspicious but Minji decided to not dig deeper as it was already late at night.
“Okay then, let’s go back to the car, our manager is waiting.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The question from your mom left you dazed. Is she worth fighting for? Of course she is.
Kim Minji will always be worth it.
Tumblr media
You couldn’t believe that you were actually proceeding with the plan that you and your cousin made.
But there you were, your heart pounding as you were standing alone backstage, waiting for Minji to arrive.
The last time you were this nervous was when you were asking her to be your girlfriend.
Seeing her again after so long would be hard, but you had to fix things or at least try.
Being too clouded with your thoughts, you hadn’t realized that she had already arrived in the room, her eyes opened wide as if she had just saw a ghost.
“Minji, can we talk? Please.” You looked at her pleadingly, facing her was nerve wreaking, she was still the same Kim Minji whom you love more than anything in the world combined.
“What are you doing here?” She spoke in a harsh tone, one that she never used with you.
But then again, you should’ve prepared yourself for this reaction, you were the one broke her heart after all.
You took a deep breath, trying to seem calm but in reality, you were anything but calm. “There’s a lot to explain. I made mistakes and left you in the dark but I can’t hold it in any longer. I know I have no rights to want this from you but I need you to listen.”
Minji’s stare softened a little. You knew deep down she still cares. “What is it?” You could hear the hurt inside her words. “What could you possibly say to fix this?”
“Well, for starters I’m getting engaged next week.“ You started off with the main root of the problem, it was a bad idea but you weren’t thinking at the time.
Minji looked at you and scoffed. “What? Seriously? First, you broke up with me without telling me why, then you disappeared for like 10 months and now you’re back just to say that you found a new lover who you’ll be getting married to?” She glared at you with arms crossed. “You’re ridiculous Yn, actually.”
Your heart was aching but you chose to continue gently, looking at her with sincerity. “I know I am and I’m so sorry, no amount of apologies can fix this. I still love you Minji.”
Minji frozed at your words. “No you don’t” she denied. “Not anymore at least.”
Your heart dropped. “I understand that you don’t believe me and you’re mad, b-“
“You’re right, I am.”
“But please listen to what I have to say.” You looked at her pleadingly. You would go as far as to beg on your knees, anything to get her to listen to you.
“What is there to say? You’ve found yourself a new girl, that’s it.”
Your heart dropped at every words that were coming out of her mouth. Especially since it couldn’t be further from the truth, you just needed to explain yourself before you go crazy.
You reached for her hands, meeting her gaze with open sincerity. “Please just listen, I love you so much, it feels like I’m going insane!”
“You can’t just leave and shut me out of your life just to come back and say that, it’s not fair.”
“Well, I had no choice! My dad never approved of us, he wanted me to marry a woman I do not love, if not he’ll do anything in his power to make you disappear from my life completely. So I complied, I did not want to lose you Min, but I had no choice.” You felt like you were being suffocated on spot, the walls around you were spinning around. You wanted to disappear.
Minji’s once cold face turned into a concerned one before turning into a slight frown. “You idiot! You should’ve told me the truth from the start!” She exclaimed as she slapped you gently on the shoulder.
“You’re right to call me an idiot, I should’ve told you from the start. But I was afraid that if I let you know then I’ll have no choice but to go against my dad’s wishes.”
“What changed?”
From the moment you arrived on earth, you’ve never went against your dad. You’re your dad’s daughter after all, but you were always miserable with him around.
But not being around Kim Minji was even worse than any punishment combined.
Squeezing her hands gently with regrets staining your confession. “Everyday without you have been hell. I should’ve realized it sooner but now I know that my love for you is stronger than any threats, even if it means that there will be trouble.”
She stayed quiet but you knew that she was listening. That was your thing, understanding each other without needing words to say it.
Gazing into her eyes, your heart spilled open. “You are my home, Min. My heart belongs to you. Always has, always will.”
A heavy silence fell. She knew you better than any, even yourself, every emotion held in you have been made obvious to her. Her eyes held an answer yet, and rightfully so trust should be re-earned.
“Thirty days.” Minji said gently yet firm. But you felt confused. “Thirty days?
“I’ll give you thirty days to regain my trust.” She took a steady breath. “Show me your sincerity, make me believe that we can work.”
Your eyes sparkled as you nodded in determination. “Thirty days, I promise to be better, no secrets, I’ll tell you everything.”
Squeezing your hand, Minji replied. “I want to believe in us again.”
“I’ll make you believe.”

Stay
— If he had been with you, everything would be different.
Pairing - Kazuha x reader
Genre - angst without comfort
Cw - death of character, mentions of blood, not proofread inspired by the book, if he had been with me
Tumblr media
Autumn became a season you and Kazuha looked forward to when you both were young, the leaves changing colors, the trees full of new color, soon to die because of the upcoming winter, it was a season that meant something to the two of you. Until now, now it was a dull season, the leaves dying past their time, reminding you of his time, before he soon was gone like the wind. His time past and overdue.
“Come catch me kazu!”
“I will, just like I always do.”
The two of you in your own world, playing with one another until the sun started to set. Him walking you home and then heading over to his which was right next door. A habit this became, leaving in the morning, and enjoying the autumn until it would become a winter. The leaves pilled together, jumping in and laughing together. The two of you always together no matter what.
What a lie that would soon become
Age thirteen was when Kazuha made it known to that he loved you, even though he always did, you now would know bye this one single act he did. A single kiss was all it took, sweet yet quick. He face flushed, awkward and uncertain of what he had done, not knowing what to do next.
“I want… I want to be with you [name], forever. I want us to hold hands like the people who I see on the streets. I… I want you to be mine.”
“Silly, I’m already yours! I’ll always be yours Kazu.”
Another small peck shared by you, and then the two of you hand in hand heading over to the place where you two called home.
Some would say this was puppy love, something that wasn’t going to last since you two were so young. But it wasn’t, because Kaedehara Kazuha was your first love, the one who understood you, the one who brought a new light into your life, the one who would stay by you side. You never saw a day without Kazuha, he was glued to you. Your parents knew of the so long friendship you two shared and soon they knew that one day, you would all be a family.
It was often Kazuha would come over to your place, or you to his, it was something that had been happening every since the age of 5. The two of you sick together, staying in the same room giggling and painting with one another, laying on the bed and talking about plans you two had come up with. Together. Even when Kazuha was no longer sick, he stayed with you until you were fine. He stayed, like he always hoped for. He stayed because he loved you, never wanting to let you go.
It stayed this way, until your 20’s
It was like a new fire had burned, one that would continue to burn, his heart seemed like it was going to break at what he had just witnessed.
“Don’t be stupid, Tomo.”
“I might be, but who’s the one who said ‘just because something seems impossible, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try.”
Kazuha wished he had never heard that, it was only meant for one person, you. Now that one sentence filled him with pain, one that would determine what he should do next.
“Kazuha, you can’t. You can stay with me, you’ll be safe! My family can pull some strings, they’ll make sure you’re safe! You won’t be found I promise Kazu just-“
He hated this, hated how his decision would impact you. The tears forming in your eyes, your voice shaking, your hand trembling trying to hold on. Hold onto him. He held it tight, giving it a small squeeze.
“I’m a wanted man now [name]. I can’t ruin your family’s reputation with all the connections they share. I don’t want to imagine what they would do to your family if it was discovered they had hidden a wanted man in their home, what could happen to you.”
You knew he was right, he always was. Kazuha knew the best, he would always be the one who helped you make decisions.
So why does it hurt knowing that he’s right?
“Then take me with you! It’s like you always wanted, we can leave together and then travel together.”
It was a dream of his to travel the world, he would always have a spark in his eyes while talking about where he wished to go.
One day, it will be just you and me.
Oh how you wished that could be true.
“That would be the worst option out there [name]. You’ve gotten so far, I can’t take that away from you. You have everything that you have ever wanted, it would be like taking away the treasure of Inuzuma. The people love you [name], they need you.
I need you Kazuha. You’re all i have ever needed, all I have ever wanted.
“Please Kazuha, I can’t lose you.”
A leaf now fell, it dead since its time has been long overdue. The leaf that use to be filled with color, the same color of the streak in his hair.
“I love you, I promise I will come back. I’ll sneak into your room and hold you all the night, but for now, I have to do what is best.”
Stay, stay in this moment. Stay with me.
But of course he never does, he leaves you with one last touch to your lips. Just like the one he did when you two were 13.
One last leaf fell, the last one before the tree was now empty. Just like now, how the one thing you needed the most had left, just like a wind in the breeze, not knowing at where to land next. He took your heart with him though, where ever he went it would remind him of you.
He promised, he would come back. Things would be the way they were meant to be.
He would make you his.
You knew Kazuha, he would fight till the very end and never lose. He was strong. You remember when you got your vision first, he was jealous that you had gotten one and he had not.
“You’ll get one Kazuha, I know it.”
“Then can we spar? You have to find a weapon that you can use, or are you interested in a sword?”
He had one, so it was only natural you wanted to be the same as Kazuha.
“A sword would be perfect.”
It was perfect, everything about it. The sword sharing a similarity with his. You always gazed at the writing imprinted on the sword base. Words from him.
The words you are now looking at, tears forming in your eyes once again as you cradle the weapon in your arms.
Home is with you
wherever you take this blade, think of me.
Tumblr media
9 months, 18 letters from Kazuha.
It was twice a month in which he would write a letter to you, telling you of the events in his life.
Without you.
It was hard for you, hard to only have his writing to remember him by. Yet you’re grateful that he still puts the effort in. He would put effort in if it was for you.
19 letters now. The third this month.
The letter wasn’t one you expected, yet it filled you with hope and maybe, just maybe, this would be the last and final one until he was home.
To my dearest [name], I’ll be home soon. I made my promise to you, you remember it right? I’ve heard that you’ve been successful now more than ever. I love hearing your name wherever I go, I’m happy. Happy for you, glad that you have gotten to this point. I want to save my words until I’m back with you, together in the same spot we shared all those joyous memories and moments. I should be back by midnight. I still have the spare key, so I’ll do what I told you the night I left. I’ll sneak into your room and I will hold you all night. Just as I had promised. I love you more than you could every imagine [name], everything will be just as they should have. We’ll be happy, happy together. I’ll be home once again. Love Kazuha.
You tugged the letter tight, praying to the archons that he would be home any minute now. It was past midnight now, he could be home any minute now. He could be with you anytime now. The realization hit you, Kazuha would be home.
He would be back.
Footsteps could be heard out your room, the light on. It’s him, it has to be.
“Kazuha?”
Your heart now beating in your chest, wanting him so badly now that you felt your hand shake.
He’ll come and hold me, hold my hand and kiss me with the passion that burns in his heart for me.
The door started to open. He was home.
“Kazu?”
“Oh [name]” your mother says.
Tumblr media
The autumn leaves falling down on the streets of Inuzuma, falling so freely without a care. One leaf falling on his heart, soon to be covered in his blood.
“Give me your hand” he said
“Why?”
“So you can feel what you do to me, what you do to my heart dove.”
Not a beat came from his heart as the leaf fell, he was gone. He wouldn’t come back home to you. Kaedehara Kazuha was dead. So close, yet so far. He was almost there. He was almost home until his life was taken from him.
His vision shinned with passion, noticeable in the night. Catching the eye of the culprits responsible for his death, the ones who wanted to kill him the moment he became a wanted man. The ones who wanted his vision.
“Kazuha wanted to give you this dear…” your mother stated. She placed the letter on your bed so you could grab it. She let you cry as she told you that your one and only was now dead. She left, knowing that you needed space.
You grabbed the letter, eyes blurry from the tears streaming down your face. Soon, more fell down your face as you saw the blood stains left on the letter.
This was his blood, his dna. The last thing he had left with you along with this letter.
To my one and dearest name, I’m sorry. I wish I could have fulfilled my promise to you. If only I had been smarted, been more attentive to my surroundings. You were always the one who noticed every single detail, no wonder you’re so smart name. I love that about you, that you seem to notice every single thing around you. I think that’s why I become more observant, I wanted to grow from you. I’m sorry I couldn’t be stronger for you, maybe I can. I’ll try, I’ll fight until I defeat every single one of them. Yet if I can’t, then I want to write this in case. I don’t want to leave you with nothing, so I’ll leave you with this. I’m sorry name, I love you and I hope you know that. It would be selfish of me to let you hung up on me, so love someone else. Find someone who loves you, more than me. I want you to be happy, I know you will be. I’ll leave my heart to you, in the form of a ring. The one my mother had before she died. I remember her always asking when we two were going to get married. She’ll be glad that you have this ring. I know you always loved her. I couldn’t make you mine name. Maybe some day, in another life I can. I’m sorry name. Love Kazu.
Why? Why him? He was almost home, and it was taken away from him in an instant.
No one would love me more than you do Kazuha.
You’re all I need, all I’ve ever wanted.
You saw the ring, one you saw as a child from his mothers ring finger.
“Kazu, your mother has such a pretty ring! I want it!” He saw the pure adoration in your eyes as you looked at the ring. His mother smiled before she ruffled your hair.
“One day, it will be yours [name] I’ll make sure of it.” Kazuha’s mother than looked at him, sending the young boy a wink. His face flushed at the thought of marrying you.
“Two house’s ” he heard you say. “And four people”
It was silly how you didn’t count the fathers, but he knew what you meant. Yet you were wrong.
“It’s our houses,” Kazuha said.” And our family.”
If only he could be the one putting the ring on your finger. He could have proposed to you, but he was never given the chance.
So why, even with this piece of himself he left with you why does your heart feel strange?
If he had been with me, he would still be alive.
If he had been with me, he would be mine. He would be alive in this moment. Now, all that was left was a lingering memory that filled you with ache.
If he had been with you, everything would be the way they were meant to be.

tags: ghost!gojo x f!reader, post manga, alternative au where the worst but not the worst happens, reader has a slight fear of cats, reader is an art therapist for satoru's nephew, loosley inspired by "would that I" by hozier <3 a/n: this is untitled, but if people like it, I'd love to write another piece. I've had this idea for several weeks now, so I'm glad to have written something out of it. this piece is just self-indulgent and it feels like a prologue to something if that makes sense. part 2
You don't think you've ever known peace like this, the cool fall breeze causing your hair to gently brush over your shoulders while the leaves rustle, from a distance, the wind chimes ring with no rush, no sense of time seemingly passes in the air.
"you should probably head inside Hotaru, it's cold," you sweetly tell the five-year-old in front of you, adjusting his hat so that his ears are covered from the breeze. it was nearly 6, dinnertime, and your tutoring hours with the gojo clan member were now over.
his nanny watches you from the distance as she holds the door, opening it slightly so that the boy knows his time with you is over, but you can't help but to feel thankful she has given you an extra moment with the boy.
"why don't wanna eat with us?" he asks, and the pout on his lips is nearly enough to break your heart.
"I'm sorry, sweetie," you cup his cheek, "but only your family gets to eat dinner. I have my own home to get to too, but I promise when I come back we can have that picnic I promised you, yes?"
"only if you promise to bring your teddy with mine," he sniffles, and you want to smile at his negotiation skills, but the sniffles he makes reminds you once again how sensitive the boy was to the cold.
"alright, fine," you give him a warm smile, ushering him to walk towards the door that stands several feet away. "go, your nanny is waiting for you." and he nods, a small smile planted on his lips before his lips touch your cheek, his rosy, red nose coldly touches your cheek, prompting you to smile.
"bye bye, miss honey," he says, a name he's grown fond of calling you.
"bye bye, sunshine." a name you've warmed to call the child.
the boy then hurries off to his nanny, he excitedly pulls a leaf from the inside of his sweater, and you smile, remembering how you told him it was possible to trace a leaf (just like his hand in the shape of a turkey), and with excitement, the boy disappears into the house, following his nanny.
no more than 3 minutes pass before the woman, whom you guess is in her early 50's, approaches you. her grey hairs begin to reach the tips of her ears, and the wrinkles around her eyes adjust as she smiles, carrying a mug. you wonder if you'll be lucky to have wrinkles like that one day.
"he seemed excited," she muses, sitting next to you, handing you the mug.
"thank you,''
"he says you taught him how to draw a turkey using his hand. I've never seen a boy that excited since-"
"...since?" you politley whisper, catching her pause.
"nevermind," she smiles at you. "he just reminds me of a boy I used to babysit years ago, his uncle."
"oh,"
she nods, "you're welcome to stay here for the night if you'd like. I hear it might rain,"
"it's only a 50% chance, so I think I'll be fine." you chuckle nervously, "but thank you. can I... can I stay here? just for a few more minutes?"
hotaru's nanny looks beyond the garden, a nearby tree that you would always read under with hotaru tucked to your side makes her smile weakly. "of course, she says, take your time. let me know if you'll be staying with us for the night, it's never too late if you do." and in a moment, she gracefully bids you goodbye before heading in, leaving you alone in the garden.
you sigh, taking in a sip of the warm chamomile tea she brought you. the gojo clan was always a mystery to you, but working here for nearly 5 months definitely confirmed that the gojo's were always hiding something. it was just that you weren't a curse user, just a girl with above average matrilineal intuition.
there was always something special about hotaru, you realized instantly after meeting him that he carried a certain 'aura' to him. you tried to justify if with the fact that his family concealed his exposure to the world, but when hotaru would murmur soft words as he colored, or drew a picture of a man with white hair holding his hand (both smiling), you asked him who is that?
's my uncle, the boy told you, he comes visit me when no one's around.
there. that seemed to be the missing piece all along. not the fact that hotaru's mother was too sick to see her son, or the fact that his dad was always out for meetings, it was that the boy was connected to a family member that long passed.
so you let it go, not making a big deal out of it even though your brain itched to know more. does he see him? what does he tell him? is he safe? you wondered to yourself that day, but you would later find out that yes, he does see him and yes, he is safe. the boy does as much to tell you nearly everything he knows, and for that you are grateful to have his trust.
"my uncle says I should play with other kids, instead," he tells you one day, "papa says no, but I tell (uncle) that I have you,"
"oh, and what does he say?"
"nothing," the boy answers simply.
"does he... what does he think of me?"
"he just says to do a good job around you. says coloring is fun,''
you hum, nodding in thought. for the last month, hotaru was slightly more distracted. although he was doing a tremendous job in your art sessions, as his art therapist you couldn't help but wonder if his occasional absent mindedness had anything to do with the presence of his uncle.
but tonight, everything felt different.
"I can feel you're around," you say, loud enough for the trees to hear, but quiet enough to not cause any commotion. "you've been watching us for some time, and I know it." setting your cup of tea down, you focus your gaze on the tree, as if something were there. but that didn't feel quite right. something in the energy was not quite right.
to your left, you suddenly jump from your seat as a white cat passes by your feet, and you nearly shriek, startled. you weren't exactly fond of cats, but you didn't despise them. if you could always avoid them, you would, but being around them slightly made you self-conscious as you were scratched by one when you were younger, forming a mistrust around them.
with a slight huff and nod to yourself, you call it a night, standing up and leaving behind the mug of tea. from a distance, satoru watches as you make your way past the gates of the garden and he half snickers, half watches you in interest before the white cat slowly circles him. "aw, you scared her, didn't you mochi?"
the cat meows lazily, moments before yawning and taking a seat next to satoru who watches you from the same tree he also sat in when you read to hotaru.

-: As good as this one :-
Keep reading for a small fic
You can also find the fic from AO3!
Please check it out and leave kudos and feedback! As good as this one is 1st part of a TFE fanfic series I have, called -: family :-
“Hey, Optimus! Happy Father's day!” Bumblebee’s voice rang to Megatron’s audio receptors. Optimus had received a video over to his communicator, and it was from Bumblebee.
“Happy Father’s day!” Arcee greeted on the video as well, she made a brief appearance behind Bee.
“I’m sorry for a late greeting, I’ve been stuck at Malto’s the whole day. The Maltobots needed my help to make the day perfect, so I stayed to help. But I will never forget to remember you on this day! See you tomorrow, Prime sir!”
Before the video reached to end, the voices of the Terrans and their human family shouted and greeted Optimus happy father’s day. Bee knelt down to Mo, who was apparently signing him to kneel down for her. Mo appeared on the video.
“Mom said we can say that, even if you’re not our dad, but you are still a dad! At least to Bee!” Mo said with a wide smile.
“Bye, Mr Optimus!” with that, the video ended.
Optimus chuckled to himself. He replied to Bumblebee’s video with a brief text message, thanking him, Arcee and the whole Malto family. Megatron walked over to Optimus’ right side; “Cutting it quite close this year. The day is almost over.”
Optimus sent his reply and facing Megatron he said: “It doesn’t matter. These things are something you know, even if no one says anything.”
“Actually, I, too.. received a greeting today”, Megatron mumbled, trying to appear cool about it, but Prime saw the glimmer in his optics.
“Oh?” Optimus asked, tell me more, and Megatron answered; “Young Twitch called me earlier today. She… told me, happy father’s day, even if I am far from being one to her.”
“You may not be a father to her the same way Alex Malto is, or even as far-fetched as Wheeljack. But those bonds also prove to us that being family doesn’t mean biological connection”, Optimus explained, and Megatron hummed thoughtfully.
“Yes, I understand that. I guess… I never expected to mean this way to anyone”, Megatron confessed.
Optimus smiled for him. Megatron had come a long way from when he was still a Decepticon leader; back in those days, he would’ve never thought the way he did now, never admitted those kinds of feelings out loud. Optimus felt joy in his spark.
Megatron and Optimus both turned to look at the beautiful scenery that opened in front of them. Witwicky was a beautiful place, and the sun setting painted the world purple and pink. Both of them took a deep breath and let their optics rest on that beautiful view.
“I also consider you family, Megatron, and I-”
“Don’t say it, Prime, or you might grow on me.”
Prime chuckled; “I already have, old friend. I just wish to remind you of how much I cherish you, and what we have.”
Megatron averted Prime’s gaze for a moment before he looked at him from the corner of his eyes. Megatron was struggling with words, he still wasn’t used to being treated like Optimus spoke and thought of him.
“I… can’t say it back yet”, Megatron admitted, defeated, and looked down at his feet. Optimus smiled dearly to him; “I know. It is okay.”
“But-” Megatron added, lifting a hand on Prime’s shoulder.
“I… you know.”
“I know”, Optimus hummed.
Megatron didn’t need to say it back. Actions spoke volumes, and Megatron was shouting to Optimus the same words he just said to him. Optimus and Megatron shared eye contact, and both of them smiled. There was still much healing to do, and not only for Megatron. Optimus would wait for him for all of eternity, and even longer.
“Megatron? I often find myself thinking of how wrong we could’ve gone, had we not stopped the war.”
“Why waste time on something like that?”
“I can’t say. Maybe it is the fact of how good things are, and how bad they could be. Maybe the idea that in the countless other universes, things are far, far worse. Do you think that, maybe, there are more universes like ours? Where we do not have to fight? Where we are brothers and sisters, not divided by factions or anything else?”
“Like you said, Prime… There are countless universes. Some ought to be as good as this one.”
Optimus smiled and sighed contently. He narrowed his optics and hummed; “Yes. Some ought to be.”

I can't believe the first piece of ficlet I'm gonna write for this is fricken Sad Gale Hours. I keep debating continuing this narrative from other companions view points
Gale POV angst/abandonment, Major character death(not Gale)
Gale/ Cleric Male!Gith Tav (it's Iss'tav'in let's be real but he's not named or described for the most part)
✨☀️💀🌙✨
His beloved leaves their home in Waterdeep so soon after they return from Wither’s party Gale can hardly mount a defense against it. He wonders if he should have expected this, if he’d missed signs of this on coming meteor amidst the revelry. When his mind cycles through the memory, it seems obvious. He and the others had sat around the table eating and feasting, Wyll and Astarion taking turns telling grand adventure stories while Shadowheart and Karlach heckled them. Gale’s darling husband had spent the night tucked away in a corner with Lae’zel after making the rounds. Gale hadn’t wanted to begrudge his githyanki love a chance to catch up with his kin, to hear how the war against Vlaakith was faring, to speak in his mother tongue with what might amount to his sister.
He is certainly begrudging him now.
They fight. Gale tries to argue from a logical stance at first. They have a life that requires they be present, responsibilities to the Academy and to the the Spires. His mother expects them both to be in attendance at her next soiree, newlyweds that they are. Gale’s continued research on the orb, dormant as it is, requires his attention. Surely they can take some time to prepare for a voyage of this magnitude.
He runs out of gentle patience quickly in light of his husband’s pre-arranged plans. The man has taken leave from the temple for now, and of course he doesn’t expect Gale to join him. Someone must stay and care for Xan.
It feels utterly patronizing and for the first time, since they shared a night in a conjured bed under false stars, Gale thinks back on his time with Mystra. The feeling is sickenly familiar. He thinks of his mother, her place in the Dekarios clan, noble as it is, but alone. He thinks how everyone always says he favors her, in looks and demeanor.
They do have a child he reminds his love, righteous and growing furious. Xan needs a good githyanki role model. He's still so young, and Gale has only a passable knowledge of tir’su.
And when even this pleading falls of deaf ears, then, there is anger.
He rages, throws things, yells, says things that he knows he'll regret later. While his husband continues to pack the last of his travel bag Gale can feel his composure unravel. It feels ugly. Worse than that even, he feels volatile,a yawning chasm where his breaking heart resides. Dark, desolate and afraid.
“Gale, I love you, but I'm going, my people need me. Lae'zel would not ask lightly.”
“You can't just abandon your family on a lark!”
But he does. The last Gale sees of him is a cape draped back, glowing Blood of Lathander in one hand, shimmering gold helmet tucked under the other. Then he's gone.
They don’t kiss good bye, though Gale imagines that would be difficult with the way he was snarling.
Gale stands in the open door of their, no, not theirs, not anymore. He stands in the door of his tower long after the love of his life has gone. Fists clenched, eyes wet, but silent save for the occasional sniffle. The sea is quiet, he can hear no gulls as the sun begins to dip beneath the waves.
He doesn’t hear the baby crying til Tara comes through her cat flap of displacement and bites him on the hand.
“Mister Dekarios, Gale, what's happened?”
“He left. He just….left us.”
“Well, I never…is he coming back?”
As Gale cradles the small githyanki baby in his arms, rocking and trying to soothe him, he chokes on the answer.
Yes. No. I don't know. He says he is.
The orb feels hungry again for the first time since they defeated the brain. But if his heart feels broken and consumed as he stands in his tower clutching the small body of his son then, it's nothing to what he feels months later.
It's nothing compared to the unexpected agony of seeing Lae’zel standing, blood drenched and solemn, on his balcony. She’s alone, a shroud wrapped bundle under one arm, glowing with divine light. Under the other a familiar shimmering gold helmet.
