This is to motivate the ones who think that some of their favorite characters are one of the least popular characters in their own fandoms, or can be pretty popular but are always given the shortest end of the stick by the authors. They are nothing different than rare gems which can never be found. Similarly, the characters are too good to be appreciated by the fandom of the show they feature in. They are too good to be featured in official art and merches. Because, they are like rare and precious gems whose essence and potential can only be found by a small number of people like us. We have something special, so we feel proud of it. We are honest about what we like, and are never influenced by people liking other "big names" of the shows. We are not from the common crowd, we go with what we like which can be different from other tastes. And we also end up making fanarts and fanfictions for them.

"Yuu-chan, you're okay!" Tekikawa Kasumi threw her arms around her son, relieved.

"Kaa-san, it was just a minor Courier Mission. I didn't even leave the Country." Tekikawa Yuuya said, confused. "It was a textbook standard Courier Mission."

She didn't say a word, just holding him close. He looked over at his grandmother, not expecting any useful answers. Tekikawa Mizuchi looked just as grimly relieved as his mother.

"The Uchiha Clan is no more." Mizuchi said quietly, his blood freezing as he tightened his grip on his mother.

"O-baa-san?" He said, numbly throwing sand over his shoulders with shaking hands.

She looked mutedly pleased with his instinctual reaction, before she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Last night, Uchiha Itachi killed every last recognized Man, Woman, and Child of the Uchiha Clan. Sans his younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke." She continued, his eyes flashing purple before red slipped through.

He closed his eyes, black lines creping up up his neck and over his jaw. His face gave away nothing, body language showing only relaxation - a lie. A carefully crafted lie, like the blunted smiles he gave his colleagues and the report he'd handed to the Hokage about his mission being a standard textbook c-rank courier mission.

Tekikawa Yuuya was not relaxed.

Tekikawa Yuuya was the opposite of relaxed.

Because Tekikawa Yuuya - thanks to his cowardly father's commitment issues - was one of two survivors of the Uchiha Massacre.

And nobody could know.

An update so far for this alternative Au where Sasuke marries Karin while Sakura is with Gaara. Naruto and Hinata are standing together, as this would've been sometime after their own marriage. =v= In the part two, that hasn't been worked on just yet, I plan to draw Hinata showing. ^-^ Please excuse my rambling.

Here's the sketch for Part one and Part two! No Ocs & no private messages please, but before I finish this request with next update what other characters from Naruto Shippuden should I add? They must alive at the point in the series story this Au for SasuKarin wedding is set for, mostly between Naruto Shippuden-the Last. For example, Kakashi standing next to Naruto. Characters already included are Orochimaru, Tsunade, Ino, Shino, Jugo, Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Gaara, Kakashi, my ocs Ai Hyuga(next to Ino), Kasumi Nobuyuki(next to Jugo),(plan to add the next few when I update again) Suigetsu, Chino and Nowaki (going by different looks to hide their identities.)

The room was silent save for soft breaths, a several mattresses stacked and arranged to create one giant bed. On it lay three adults, four children, and an elderly lady.

They all lay calmly, limbs tangled and blankets thrown over them.

"Should we go to the Hokage?" Tekikawa Kasumi whispered, the other three sighing from where they were laying together on the large mattress.

"We're not risking the Clan." Tekikawa Mizuchi said, not bothering to open her eyes to glare mentally at her daughter.

"You can't trust Konoha, Imouto." Tekikawa Enkai whispered, patting her head. "You know that."

"I'm just worried." Kasumi whispered back.

"We trust in the Clan." Tekikawa Yuuya murmured, face mushed against a large stuffed shrimp. "Worst comes to pass, we barricade the Compound and use the Emergency Escape."

"We can't take Aiko." Enkai said, throwing an arm over his 'wife'.

"If it comes to it, I'll weave her a new life in Tea Country." Yuuya murmured, his chakra dancing where his leg rested against his uncle. "I'll erase her from everyone and build her a new life in a small village with a son named Daichi and a baby daughter named Eri and a recently deceased husband she loved but wasn't in love with. Nobody but us will ever know that she once lived in Konoha."

"It won't come to that." Mizuchi grumbled slightly as one of the kids started drooling on her knee. "You're being dramatic. We have a Clan, a Compound, a Corner Store, and a Civilian Cover Story. The only thing we need to worry about is Shinobi-kozou here and his habit of lying on official documents."

"Who do you think I got the habit from?" Yuuya murmured, getting a flick to the ear.

"I lied on the official documents first." She grumbled slightly, amused.

"I've lied on every official document I've handed in since I was three." He gave a long sigh.

"You mean since you were six?" Kasumi teased him, more relaxed.

"Hai, O-kaa-san." He hummed, imitating a yawn.

Kasumi yawned almost immediately, Mizuchi flicking his ear as Enkai joined in.

"I know what you did, Kozou. No more treason for tonight, brats." She told them all.

"We'd take Hayami, Kiyomizu, and Tatsuo with us though. Right?" Enkai settled back down.

"Oya, En-ji-san. Don't ask stupid questions, they're Tekikawa." Yuuya poked him with his chakra. "Of course, they'd come with us."

"Right." He huffed as his mother flicked him in the back. "Uwa, I'm sleeping. I'm sleeping."

"Not with that much chatter you aren't." Kasumi poked her brother before they all settled down comfortably.

"Am too." Enkai stuck out his tongue despite no one having their eyes open.

"Put that tongue back in your mouth, Boy; before I hack it off, grill it, and feed it to you." His mother gave a small warning growl.

Yuuya mushed his face into his stuffed shrimp and gave a soft growling hum outside of human frequency, it resonating from deep in his chest. The others joined in and they all fell asleep almost immediately.

The Compound was soon filled with the alien noise, every last member soothed to sleep.
