I think the reason Edda as a character managed to invade my brain so much, is that she hits a particular narrative love I have for stories about well... love. And how as such a strong and overwhelming emotion, it can drive someone to extremes and become 'corrupted'. Edda was introduced as such a sweet, tragic character. The stereotypical 'Healer'. Soft, kind, naivee, vulnerable. Who gives, and gives, and gives, and never ever takes. Who loves her friends and her finacee and isn't it so sad how she's treated? How she won't or can't fight back?

And then Tam-Tara happened. Avere died. Edda was blamed. Her true love gone. Her friends abbanonded her. For someone who loves so much, who gave so much, she was left with nothing but a rotting head.

Except that wasn't true! She didn't have nothing right? She still had her love. Her memories, and it RUINED her. That overwhelming love she had for Avere meant she could not let him go. Even when she seemed more stable in Ul'dah. It didn't help. Edda was along with no where for all that Love to go. So it went right back to Avere again. To the head in her bag. To her desperation to bring him back. Her obsession to have her love returned again.

When you get to Tam-Tara again, for the 'Wedding', Edda is so lost in her Love that she truly believes the voidsent she created IS Avere. That he's returned to her. When you defeat him, she's so struck by grief again that... she's happy to fall. Because she'll be with Avere again. Love defined Edda. Love killed Edda. Love was comforting, and then corrputing, and then destructive. Love gave her purpose, love caused her grief, love cause her maddness.

And isn't that wonderously terrifying?

I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

i know they underutilized the frankenstein aspect in the movie but it really does feel like the creature was perfectly created for lisa regardless. from what we saw, he spent his whole life lonely; dead parents, isolating social life, failed romantic prospects, the whole shebang, but he never gets to do anything about it because he dies, suddenly and unstoppably. until he’s suddenly alive again and the whole world is different but there’s this girl who tended to his grave when nobody else would have given him that respect, who’s experiencing the same things he did who actually has the chance to get back at the people who didn’t care for her, one tiny bit of familiarity to him… of course he’s going to kill for her just to see her happy.

John and JLD are up against a threat from the infinite realm. When the being goes to declare their plans to destroy the planet. The being suddenly comes to a halt.

Apparently there is a single ecto entity that has a haunt on this planet. So they can’t flat out destroy the planet, that would just be rude.

Upon an investigation. As they are definitely gonna scout out who the ecto entity is at the minimum. They find none other the Cujo.

Seeing as it’s quite common for ecto animals to claim an ecto being in the realm as their “haunt”. The JLD assume Cujo, who is asleep on Danny, claimed Danny as his.
