BTS Second Pregnancy Series #7: Picking Out Names

23 weeks, or 5 and a half months, pregnant

Kim Seokjin

So since you and Jin had decided to wait to find out the gender this time around, that meant coming up with both a girl name and a boy name. Both of you wanted the baby’s name to be like Kaiden’s, simple and easy. For a boy, the two of you decided to go with the name Carson Kai, with his Korean name being Kim Chin Hwa. For a girl, the two of you decided on Taylor Grace with the Korean name Hye-mi.

Min Yoongi

Similar to how you were after finding out that Kinsley was a girl during your first pregnancy, you again threw yourself into trying to find a name for you and Yoongi’s second daughter. However, you couldn’t find a single name that you were even mildly interested in.

One day, Yoongi came to you with the name Kamryn and you weren’t really sure how you felt about it. The double K thing with Kinsley’s name and Kamryn was throwing you off but after a few days, it really grew on you. You then chose the middle name Alea (pronounced like Aaliyah), while Yoongi chose the Korean name Chung Ae.

Kim Namjoon

Since you and Namjoon knew the gender this time around, you both found that it was actually way easier to pick out a name and settle on it. You chose the name Maia (pronounced like Maya) while Namjoon chose the middle name Luna (for obvious reasons). After finding out that your third baby was a boy, you and Hobi weren’t really in a rush to zero in on a name. You both just figured that you’d let it come to you whenever it did, which is exactly what ended up happening one day. Hobi was watching tv and he had randomly stopped on a channel when he heard the name Hendrix. He instantly fell in love with it and ran off to tell you.

When you’d heard it for the first time, you weren’t too sure about it because you felt like it was a little too out there. After thinking about it though, you realized that it kind of fit along with Lennox and Berkeley’s names so you agreed. You chose the middle name Noel and Hobi let you choose his Korean name this time around, so you went with Jaehyung.

Park Jimin

When it came to picking out names this time around, you and Jimin still wanted names that were pretty simple and easy. During your first pregnancy, you both had been in love with the name Emma for a girl but it just didn’t have the same appeal now. You both ended up settling on Sydney Mia for a girl, with the Korean name Minji. For a boy, Jimin chose the name Carter while you chose the middle name Drew, and Jimin chose the Korean name Ki-ha.

Kim Taehyung

When it came to choosing Spencer’s name, Taehyung had done it so this time around, he told you that he wanted you to pick out your son’s first name. You wanted a name that was similar to Spencer’s in the fact that it would be kind of different and not really a typical name. You ended up finding the name Elijah in a baby book and you thought it was perfect. You told Taehyung, who also thought that it was a great name for “the Squirt”. Taehyung then chose the middle name James, as well as his Korean name Juwon.

Jeon Jungkook

During your first pregnancy, you and Jungkook had been pretty chill about trying to find a name but this time around, you had both decided to try and put a little more effort into the process. However, that was easier said than done because you and Jungkook couldn’t find names that you liked and whenever you did manage to find one, the other didn’t like it.

One night when the two of you were looking through a baby name book, Ava came and climbed into your bed and you asked her to point out a name that she liked, just figuring that it couldn’t hurt. She actually ended up flipping through the book for a few minutes before pointing to the name Aria. You and Jungkook both liked it so that’s what you settled on. You chose the middle name Jade and you let Jungkook chose her Korean name (frankly because you were sick of the whole choosing a name thing by that point), and he settled on Jia.

This is my goodbye, my last post.

This is for someone who changed me in good and bad ways for more than half a decade.

I hope you are gonna read this with your heart open and you will try to understand were i stand and how i see all of this.

When we first met, when un sent me that messaje, i did not fell in love with you right in that moment. No, i fell in love with every joke, with every moment of honesty between us. It was easy to fall in love with you. And then you kissed me. And you tasted like chocolate and you know what a sweet tooth I have. We were best friends for more than five years. We did not talk for a lot of time in that five years. Do you remember why? Because my point of view was not the same as yours. Bébé, we didn’t talk for long periods of time because you knew I had feelings and you didn’t. For a long time, you ran away from me. I wanted more, you didn’t. This was our problem before we started dating. In the time we did or we didn’t talk, I had a life outside you not wanting me more (like I wanted you); so I fucked guys, girls, I kissed them and I had relationships. Some were good, some weren’t. But I accepted them. It is my life after all, and I am not gonna (still) think about you judging my past. It was a problem for us in our relationship.

Right before we started dating, we were good friends. I was in love with you, but in a relationship with one of your friends. You seemed okay with that at first. Apparently not, because all I can say is that I couldn’t stay with him, a good one, because I was soo in love with you. And I cheated on him, and I broke up with him. And in January, maybe I hurried things up, me and you, we were in a relationship. You, even if it wasn’t the first time you said I love you to me, you said it like it was true. It finally felt real. In 5 years, it was the first time I felt that you really loved me.

In a way, I don’t think you would have (ever) been ready for a relationship with me. It was nice in the beginning. But you still did not want me more into your life. You know this was my problem for the last current year.

March came, we did not see each other for almost 3 months bébé, and we both changed. I couldn’t give you what you wanted and you gave me way too much.

At least I didn’t go for someone I told you not to worry about or someone I knew. You did. You had a thing with a girl from a party house I always told you not to go without me. Huh. Nice. And you high school friends? No, stop telling me lies. I believe what you show me.

You didn’t want to spend nye with me. Who does that to someone they love?

Anyway. We broke up because we were toxic, but I still think that if we wanted we could have made it work. You didn’t want me anymore.

I’ve made a mistake. I know that. You made me believe that I am not worthy of love. With that mistake I lost the only person I ever wanted in my life forever. You. I am sorry for hurting you. For lying. But I am not sorry for loving you. I think you really didn’t love me the way I did.

You can’t see the good anymore and you are cruel to me. You keep hurting me. I started having panic attacks while we were together. Now, I have soo many health problems and I am in therapy and I still can’t believe you don’t know who I am. After fucking six years you don’t know some things about me. I don’t know a lot of things about you, because you never let me that far into your life.

I think I have a lot more to say to you, but I can’t cry over spilled milk anymore.

I am keeping all my promises, even if you don’t keep yours. I am being true to myself and trying to accept the fact that you are not good for me and you don’t want me part of your life.

Fanfic I’m Currently Reading

I have been dreadful at reading fanfic lately, mainly cause in between writing, and RL, everything has been far too hectic. However, these are a couple stories that I’ve started, and hopefully will be up to date in by the end of March.

Fate is a fickle thing - when Luna is approached by an ancient magic for help, she sets in motion a prophecy involving a Werewolf, an irate Goddess and four marauders that will turn the Wizarding World on its head. Hermione, Luna, Ginny and Lavender adventure tale. Time-Turner. EWE/AU. Previously titled TPTSHB.

I’m only on chapter 3, but it is fucking brilliant so far, like OMIGOSH. So far Luna is my favourite character so far, and Ginny is a close second. SO GOOD.

Collie’s writing is always devastatingly good, and I bloody adore this story, I have no words. I am in love with it so far, and the way Collie writes things never fails to make me stare in wonder at her talent. AGAIN, IT’S SO GOOD. Ginny is written extremely well, and I cannot wait to see what happens next, it’s driving me nuts that I haven’t read more of it yet. Have I mentioned that I love it?

Air by Calebski

His life was one of structure, regime, and obedience, everything was in formation lines. Everything except for her, Hermione. With her wild hair that sprang in every direction, she broke every rule in his overly dictated life, and he wasn't sorry for it.

Caleb’s writing always ruins me, and this story is no exception. I swear. This story is majestic, and just, I cannot. I have a few more chapters to read, but everything so far has just been, YES. Her OC’s seamlessly fit into the story and, I CANNOT. It’s so darn good.

Stages by SableUnstable

Because every relationship is essentially just a stage, whether it's a friendship, a familial, or a romantic relationship. Theirs encompasses all three. Angst-heavy Remione AU with a side of Sirimione, rated M for language and adult content. For ShayaLonnie.

Stages leaves me an emotional wreck after each chapter. Sable knows exactly how I feel about Stages, and how utterly in love I am with it. I entirely blame her, Shaya, and Lais for how much I ship Remione. Stages is just a work of art. There is no other way to describe it, and I expect many more tears to come as I catch up. I rarely actually physically cry reading, but I did reading this.

Oh, hello there❤ Păi, first of all, ai putea să-ţi faci goodreads (sau în cazul în care ai deja, add me) şi pentru cei care nu ştiu ce e goodreads dar le place să citească: e un site unde poţi da rates la cărţi (de la o stea până la cinci) şi unde poţi repartiza cărţile pe care le-ai citit, cele pe care le citeşti acum sau cele pe care ai vrea să le citeşti în secţii diferite. Poţi găsi acolo şi citate, etc, etc. Ideea e, intră la mine pe profil şi uită-te la ce am dat rate 5 stele fiindcă alea mi s-au părut absolut geniale. Fiecare carte are frumuseţea ei, dar există mereu ceva ce mă poate deranja în mod special.. De exemplu am adorat seria Delirium, dar primei cărţi i-am dat doar 3 stele din cauza sfârşitului (cunoscătorii ştiu de ce, nu dau spoilere), dar restul cărţilor au fost senzaţionale, în special a doua carte, m-a dat pe spate finalul aşa de mult încât a doua zi m-am dus în diverta să iau vol 3. :))) Iar lungesc chestia..mereu fac asta, oki, sorry.. 😂❤

Lately nu prea am mai citit fiindcă am bacul şi etc, dar, am citi luna trecută o carte pe care m-a obligat efectiv o amică s-o citesc. :))) Se numeşte ,,Elias şi spioana cărturarilor’’ de Sabaa Tahir. At first, mi s-a părut ciudăţel numele şi eh. Dar, crede-mă, merită cartea asta.. E ceva în genul cărţilor lui Sarah J. Maas (autoarea seriei ,,Tronul de cleştar’’). Deşi Tahir nu are nici decum imaginaţia lui Sarah, chiar merită să încerci fiindcă exact pe tema asta sunt. Eu cum am terminat volumul 1 am dat imediat comandă pe net la vol 2. (Care, apropo, sunt la jumătatea lui şi am proasta senzaţie că o să-i dau 3 sau 4 stele fiindcă deja încep să mă sece unele lucruri, sper să mă înşel totuşi)

REVENIND, în cazul în care nu mi-ai mai văzut recomandările până acum (deşi sunt sigură că cel puţin 15% din voi deja v-aţi săturat de romanele mele când vine vorba de cărţi, sunt addicted, srry y’all :( ly ) poţi încerca:

Dacă-ţi place genul romance mai ales:

Chimie perfectă de Simone Elkeles. Serie de 3 volume care povestesc vieţile amoroase a 3 fraţi, are şi acţiune şi tot ce vrei. Cărţile au câteva cuvinte în spaniolă (care sunt usual, apropo, dar ai şi traducere la ele), şi fiecare carte e mai genială decât cealaltă.. Am o colegă care nu a terminat volumul unu din cauză că a plictitsit-o. But, pleaseee, give it a chance. Măcar termină cartea să vezi cât de genială poate fii la final. Nu o să regreţi, te asigur, am terminat volumele în 2 săptămâni acum două veri.

Hopeless şi Ugly love de la Coleen Hoover sunt un MUST READ, scris cu roşu, şi paiete, şi sclipici. Chiar TREBUIE să încerci măcar cărţile ei. În special Ugly love.. Ugh, femeia asta e genială. Cărţile ei au o dramă foarte mare în sensul că sunt tragedii în romane şi traume din trecut, dar nu sunt aşa de catastrofale încât să te deranjeze neapărat. Dar chiar merită să le încerci at least.

Ai putea încerca şi seria Fifty Shades of Grey, deşi toată lumea se plânge de ,,vulgaritatea excesivă’’ din cărţi, crede-mă, e foarte, foarte bine scrisă cartea. E. L. James are un talent la a explica şi a detalia aşa de frumos încât te transpune efectiv în pielea Anastasiei. Cel puţin, mie senzaţia asta mi-a dat-o. Ador autorii care au simţul ăsta al detaliării.

Bineînţeles, nu excludem seria After de Anna Todd, care are mai mult sex decât Fifty Shades, dar, evident sunt mai multe volume.. Şi e mai puierilă povestea decât a lui E.L.James, în sensul că personajele sunt mai tinere şi sunt chestii aproximativ usual care se întâmplă în facultăţi. TOTUŞI, sunt şi am fost şi o să fiu mereu impresionată de abilitatea Annei Todd de a scrie. E una din autoarele mele preferate, şi crede-mă, sunt foarte, foarte pretenţioasă când vine vorba de cărţi.. Anna are modul ei, la fel ca autoarea de la Fsog, să te transpună în pielea Tessei şi să îi simţi efectiv emoţiile. După cum zisei, mi se pare super impresionant genul ăsta de autori şi aş vrea să nu fie aşa rari.. Dar, da, asta e. În orice caz, în cazul în care vrei să începi seria, trebuie să te pregăteşti mental de foarte mulţi nervi pe care o să-i consumi (oh, trust me.) şi multe scene de sex care o să dispară pe parcurs. Multe persoane abandonează cărţile bune din cauza ,,sexului pe bandă’’ care există în carte, dar, nu, nu e cazul aici. Un caz FOARTE eşuat al genului ăstuia de cărţi cu ,,sex pe bandă’’ ar fi seria ,,Cross Fire’’ se Sylvia Day. Am citit.. Ba nu, scuze. M-am chinuit să citesc primul volum, dar tot ce fac în el e să se certe, să facă sex, se împacă, se ceartă iar, fac sex, se împacă iar. Efectiv asta fac pe toată durata cărţii, având pe lângă diferite motive. Mi se pare o tentativă mult mai proastă a lui Fsog, în sensul că personajul principal, Ghideon, seamănă la anumite aspecte cu dl. Grey. Deşi, nu poţi să-i compari, indiferent de cât de mult s-a străduit Sylvia să-l facă să pară într-un anumit fel.. Nu are acel ,,ceva’’, sau, cel puţin, nu a fost descris şi detaliat ca atare (zisei că asta este foarte, foarte important în cărţi). În concluzieee, Anna este genială. O să ai nevoie de ceva timp, totuşi, să termini cărţile fiindcă pe lângă faptul că au un număr foarte mare de pagini (le ador pe astea, de cele mai multe ori asta poate fi luată calitativ, adică poţi avea aceeaşi poveste în 250 de pagini sau în 600, detaliile şi descrierile contează enorm, repet pentru a 1000-a oară.) O să ţi se pară enervante scenele sexuale dese, pe mine m-au deranjat, dar nu am renunţat la seria de cărţi, deşi am luat pauze în citire măricele.

Regatul spinilor şi al trandafirilor de Sarah J. Maas, spre ruşinea mea niciodată nu am încercat ,,Tronul de Cleştar’’ deşi am auzit că este genial, nici măcar nu mai am timp acum, dar, cu siguranţă o să-l citesc. Toootuşi, m-am convins că autoarea este foarte bună când am citit regatul spinilor şi al trandafirilor. Da, sună ciudăţel, coperta o să ţi se pară eh, cartea începe ciudăţel. Dar, ohhh, o să ai parte de atâta şoc, acţiune, tensiune romantică şi suspans de o să te saturi. Este absolut genială, mai ales finalul o să te facă să ..ahh, nu ştiu, ideea e că eu când am terminat cartea vara trecută efectiv stăteam în pat, plângeam de fericire şi ţineam cartea în braţe. A fost senzaţională, şi crede-mă MERITĂ. Da, da, e vorba despre supranatural şi e vorba despre elfi. Până şi eu m-am strâmbat când am auzit de ,,elfi’’, dar nu ai idee cât m-am putut înşela şi cât am putut subestima genul ăsta de cărţi. Deci, TREBUIE să încerci.

Seria Delirium, de Lauren Oliver, probabil o ştii sau ai citit-o deja, dar, cine nu a citit-o, ar trebui să o încerce.. Deşi volumul unu te lasă cu buza umflată, vol 2 e chiar bun, iar 3 la fel. Nu aş putea spune că sunt înebunită după serie, dar mi-a plăcut, şi e bună când nu ai ce citi, să zic aşa.

O carte bună, plină de umor şi pe care o poţi citi într-o zi (eu asta am făcut, atât de mult m-a captivat) este ,,Distanţa dintre noi’’ de Kasie West. Asta este chiar drăguţă. Fără sex, fără nimic, este efectiv o carte adorabilă şi o poveste de dragoste chiar..puierilă dar în modul bun al cuvântului, nu ştiu, mie chiar mi-a plăcut mult. Am citit de două ori cartea şi chiar îmi place. Personajele sunt minori şi au o carismă foarte interesantă pentru vârstele lor. Mai ales personajul principal, sarcasmul ei efectiv o să te facă să râzi strident. Deci, dacă te duci într-o excursie şi ştii că o să te plictiseşti most of timesau pur şi simplu nu ai ce face, citeşte cartea asta. O să fie interesantă. E păcat că în România nu avem şi alte cărţi de la Kasie, autoarea are idei bune.

Seria Lux, de la J.Lynn, paranormal, extratereştrii, dramă (nu foarte multă, într-adevăr), tensiune romantică şi sexuală (nu o să ai parte de sex aici, o să aştepţi mult şi bine pentru faza asta, deşi autoarea parcă ne chinuie lent cu scene care să bată apropoul foarte mult la lucrul ăsta). Ideea este că, seria chiar merită citită. Da, şi eu am fost puţin sceptică când am auzit de extratereştrii şi paranormal, daaar, din nou, I was soooo damn wrong.. E genială, chiar merită să o încerci. Apropo, dacă intri la mine pe profil o să vezi că am mai citit cărţi de la J. Lynn, şi ţi le recomand, fiindcă tipa chiaaar ştie să scrie, şi are poveşti foarte bune.

Şi nu în cele din urmă, ai putea încerca Twilight. Vă rog, NUUUUUUUU faceţi greşeala să ziceţi ,,Am văzut filmul, a fost okay dar meh, nu mai citesc cărţile’’. CITIŢI. FUCKING. CĂRŢILE. !!!!!!!! Nu se compară, NU AI CUM să le compari. StephenieMeyer e o fire foarte finuţă, foarte subtilă, dar, Doamne, are un talent de-a te transpune în carte.. E incredibil. Efectiv în unele scene simţi cum eşti în păduri, cum faci parte din bătălii, simţi efectiv anumite senzaţii, îţi dă ocazia să empatitezi foarte mult. Eu, sincer, am adorat seria asta de cărţi. Am amice care au zis că a fost aiurea fiindcă nu a apărut scena de sex dintre Edward şi Bella, dar, nu faceţi greşeala asta. Nu totul se învârte în jurul sexului, şi o carte bună nu e caracterizată de asta în niciun caz. Povestea, conflictele, ficţiunea, sunt chiar impresionante. Nu te gândi că ,,ah, ştiu în mare ce se întâmplă’’. Nooope, you have NO idea. Filmele au ratat o grămadă de chestii spicy. Deci, da, trebuie să încerci măcar. Trust me, nu o să fie o pierdere de timp.

Mdap, iar făcui ditamai romanul.. Îmi cer scuze pentru cei cărora o să le apară asta în dash şi o să trebuiască să dea scroll mult, mai ales dacă nu-i interesează subiectul. În rest, dă-mi add pe goodreads şi uită-te la ce am mai dat 5 stele, înseamnă că alea chiar mi-au plăcut mult. Nu prea dau rates aiurea, dacă nu mi-a plăcut o carte dar a avut chestii bunicele prin ea îi dau 3 stele, încă nu am ajuns în ipostaza să dau 2 stele. Deşi unele cărţi ar merita puţine stele, nici nu mă mai obosesc să le termin, şi dacă nu le termin nu le votez, fiindcă mi se pare nedrept să fac asta. Mă lungesc din nooou, damn. În orice caz, spor la citit şi lectură plăcută!❤❤

Favourite Chocobro: Just chilling ingame, I'd have to say Prompto because he makes everything so fun. But when I actually think about it, Ignis really takes the cake with Every Other Aspect, so... It's a 49-51% in favor of Iggy, I guess?

Favourite guest party member: Aranea, bc she's badass and looks cool as hELL (also, I'm a sucker for brutal honesty and tough love, which she absolutely delivers).

Favourite minor character: Noct's fishing boyfriend, whatsisname. (Sania's great, too, but I demoted her bc of those aggravating frog quests...)

Favourite villain: I mean, I loathe and despise Ardyn, so in some twisted way I really really love him as a villain?

Favourite Kingsglaive character: Crowe! There's something about her character that I just love. I wish she got more screen time.

Favourite Astral/divine being: L E V I A T H A N. (SHE IS ACTUALLY SO EPIC.) (the first time I saw her, I just, I whEezed)

Favourite character overall: I mean, when you combine a beautiful man with glittery rhinestones, you get my damn dream character. (tbh, I didn't particularly like Ignis for maybe the first 10 minutes of gameplay, but he rapidly grew on me with his awful puns and amazing Recipehs <3)

Favourite location: toss-up between the Rock of Ravatogh and Pectriche Haven. So pretty.

Favourite quest/questline/hunt: speaking of Pectriche Haven, the stolen specs tour is GOLD.

Favourite boss: The Adamantoise comes to mind (the fight itself was mehhh, but the setup! The townsfolk hiding in terror! The big reveal! The heckin scary drive! The BIG FUCKING TURTLE HOLY HELL!!!) (this counts as a hunt, not a boss, doesn't it? Oops...)

Favourite daemon/monster/monster family/etc: those big-ass Midgardsormr.

Favourite song: there's this really beautiful soundtrack that plays when you're exploring the forest on a sunny day... It starts with a mellow flute riff and fades into this calm ballad that fills me with absolute serenity... sigh :) (The chocobo theme is a *masterpiece*, too)

Favourite boss theme: that generic epic choir/orchestra number that plays for any huge non-demonic monster. It goes hella well with the Summon theme, ofc.

Favourite episode DLC: Ignis, doi!

Other favourites of note:

-Camera filter: Memory.

-Fishing spot: the Vesperpool at sunrise, or any pond in Duscae.

-Recipeh: toast.

-Chapter (besides 15): 6: A Way Forward, because hanging out with Iris on hunts and in dungeons was way fun, imo.

-Outfit: Kingsglaive Garb--looks amazing on anyone. Also, Tundra Attire is excellent.

-Quote: "There is no wrong way to love a chocobo." (Confirmed: Noctis is a beastialist.)

thoughts about liese

this isn’t anything to do with my campaign, this is just some stuff I’ve been thinking about regarding elysandrae celadrion

It’s kind of heartbreaking to consider the situation Liese has been in for the past ~3 years of her life. She’s gotten to grow stronger, yes, and attain some of her dreams that way, but... well... she’s been stuck on a ship where she doesn’t really have any friends. So, who exactly has she been able to show off that progress to, before Jericho and her became a thing at least? Alea was also a late addition.

Early-game, she had Piquel, Graves and Khyrilda to talk to. Piquel died, replaced with the standoffish Tarigh, who later left. Khyrilda retreated to her room and has steadily become less sensible, more evil. Remember early-game? They shared books and were both the sane members of the party. Liese remembers that.

That’s not a thing any more.

And oh, Graves. He was... I think Jazzy had him at NG as well to begin with? It was some variant of good at least. He very quickly grew close to Foo and Liese found it harder to like him as he got more energetic and chaotic, but they at least had common ground and she could get along with him and the others fairly well.

Until the incident in the elven city, that was. He’s responsible for the slow destruction of her father’s race and, in turn, her own. And for that, she can never forgive him. Besides, he left the party after that. He had to.

So, for a while there, there was a period when she didn’t have Jericho or Alea. She wasn’t exactly going to have meaningful conversations with Clancy or Foo, Pennyswaggle’s always sneaking around and Kalameet was a) new to the party and b) not into arcane study.

I mean, I guess she had Holst in her head, but that’s not really the same thing.

Picture this, if you will. This woman who’s been trying so hard to learn and grow and escape everything she didn’t want to be, to find people she could talk with on an even ground, stuck in that fantastic situation :l

Picture her spending days shut in her room, sneaking out at night to watch the stars, talking pretty much exclusively to Allure as she doesn’t think anyone else would care.

Picture her trying to practice and learn new spells. Casting ‘chain lightning’ between targets in her room, creating walls of force... making talking illusions of other people like her. Using Summon Monster to have new faces to talk to for a bit. Spending countless hours slaving over magic items for herself and the party, probably in silence.

Picture her elation upon figuring out new spells, only to immediately realise she has nobody to share that glee with. Think on how lonely that must have been. Think on how she so easily fell for Holst’s manipulations early on, and how much it must have hurt to eventually see through those. Think about how she probably ended up talking to him because at least he knew the kind of things she wanted to talk about.

No wonder she’s latched onto Jericho so much, he’s the only actual friend Liese has actively developed. It’s why I’m kind of worried about what’s going to happen to her mental state if he dies in the coming stuff.

Man, I just have a lot of feelings about how Liese has grown as a person and how much of that comes from her learning enough about the world to become far more bitter to it all. She’s a good person at the core, so no matter what happens to her, she’s still going to try and fight for that little bit of hope, but it must suck so much to be her.

It’s kind of why I had her slip into that self-hatred for a moment in the recent text RP with James; she’s gotta have a fair amount of internalised negativity and anxiety over everything that’s happened that she could’ve stopped (such as the elf thing). Also I love that the one time she tries to find out something for a truly selfish reason, just to satisfy her curiosity and put the topic to rest... it backfires and just makes things worse for her. And now she’s got to worry about what’s going to even happen to Holst in the end.

She’s just fucking tragic to think about and I want to give her a hug and put her in a better party where she can compare spellbooks and study arcane theory and not have to worry about the end of the world.

...though given that I’m literally putting her through torture and control in my world I’m hardly any better X] Is ok, I fix. Mainly because if I’m keeping power levels continuous then it’d make 0 sense for her to still be under that control, so she’s writing herself out of the narrative (somewhat) and can instead show up as an informant later on.

God I can’t wait to play Luna. She’s going to be less tolerant of bullshit, I feel x]

Suddenly there was this anxious feeling that he never had before – but when she was there, when he could move in her direct orbit, could let his inner self get warmer by the sunlight she radiated from her every pore, the feeling faded, his stomach settled and he could be himself again. He appreciated those moments more than anything in his life at this point; the moments where he didn’t have to be overly self-aware anymore; where he could be himself, without a doubt, without regrets. Suddenly, the certainty of his movements was back and he felt fresh and delighted every time.

Overall, he couldn’t be sure what exactly it was about her that made her as dangerous as she obviously was to him; if it was her demeanor, her radiating smile, the unwavering support she provided. Maybe it was a mix of all of the above. Fact was, she was dangerous. And maybe he should have stayed away that fateful afternoon, but he didn’t; and that’s where the dice had fallen, where his fate was decided.

He had known it all along; had known this would happen. Alas, he never had wanted it to, but he just hadn’t been able to manage to stay away. He had known he would fall in love with her one day; but at the end of the day… He hadn’t cared.

Fact was, when they were sitting there at their table in their standard café, bantering with each other; laughing and smiling, looking each other in the eyes, the branch snapped, the kingdom had fallen, and suddenly, he just knew –

“Alea iacta est.”, he murmured, unable to even remotely move his gaze away from her beautiful eyes, her radiating smile shining right down at him. She laughed and he snapped back to reality, even blushing a bit when she looked at him all confused and question marks all over her face. “What?”, she asked, smiling her confused smile, her head bent slightly sideward.
