I wanted to talk about this problem that I've been experiencing for a while, and I finally got the courage to talk about it because I saw other people complaining about the same problem.

I've lost count of how many xReader fanfics I've started reading and out of nowhere the character appears with a name, and then it's like a bucket of cold water that just leaves me sad and frustrated, I know that no one is obliged to please anyone, but please use the right tags.

I don't mean to be rude, seriously, because they're great fanfics but I don't think it's cool to trick people to get more likes.

And this is not just in one fandom but many.

This isn't personal, it's more of a vent, because as soon as I block the user, someone always appears to do the same thing again.

I'm not a writer, I don't know how hard it is to be one, we appreciate you, but this is really frustrating.

I'm so confused about the argument that Remus is the Strong Alpha MaleTM of the group because he's a werewolf and........ being a wolf means you're automatically an alpha? Like if you wanna go there and talk about actual wolf pack dynamics, you do know that not all wolves are alphas. You also have betas, gamma/deltas (bet you didn't see that coming) and omegas. Everyone has their role. And the "Alpha Male" (the way a lot of people imagine it) isn't even a thing, it's an alpha couple. And usually they're just mom and dad. Wolf packs are just families.

Besides, the Marauders aren't even a natural wolf pack where any of that logic could be applied. They're literally one (1!) wolf, a dog, a stag, and a fucking rat. Two of those would be prey, and yet.

But if you do wanna go there, Moony could never be the alpha, because the alphas are the ones who lead and make the decisions (among other things, such as mate, but I digress). As if Moony was allowed to make decisions during the full moon. He literally had to be kept in check by the others. If things had gone after Moony, all of Hogsmeade would have ended up in his stomach. Wormtail couldn’t have made a decision either. He doesn’t have the personality for it, but also, again, he’s a fucking rat. All he could do was hold on to Prongs’ antlers maybe and pray he didn’t fall off. If anyone was the “Alpha” of the pack, it would have to be either Prongs or Padfoot (or both).

Julie Power meets up with her friend Greg, who reveals to her that he is an intern at a local laboratory. At Julie's request, he takes her to see the facility. Julie and Greg are looking around the lab of Doctor Essex for some exploration. Even though Julie recognizes the suspicious people in weird costumes as The Marauders, she did not know that Doctor Essex is actually Mister Sinister in disguise. And of course, Greg neither knew that Doctor Essex is Mister Sinister nor the Marauders' existence. When Julie Power tries to call her siblings, both of them were caught by Sinister and the Marauders for snooping around the lab.

Before Mister Sinister could torture the captive Cyclops (and do some potentially nasty things on Julie or her friend who are held hostages), the Power Pack siblings arrive just in time to help them. When Greg recognizes Power Pack as Julie's siblings, Julie Power reveals her secret to her friend before freeing herself from the cage to aid her siblings in fighting off the Marauders and freeing Cyclops. Even though the Marauders were defeated, Mister Sinister congratulates the Power Pack kids for being worthy opponents before teleporting himself and the Marauders away.

This All-Ages AU version of Mister Sinister is not campy and is portrayed as serious as the Pre-Gillen Sinister.

Remus and the rest of the marauders find a pack of wolves living at Hogwarts

The Marauders known as Prongs or James potter, Padfoot or Sirius Black, and 'Wormtail' or Peter Pettiedrew knew that Moony or Remus Lupin was a werewolf, they became an Angimus to help him on full moons. They usually are in the shrieking shack but tonight moony got out. A stag, a grim dog and a rat followed him throughout the forest. He stopped, Moony was looking at something. Instead of two legs he started to walk on four, slowly. The boys were confused before the saw a pelt of white and grey. Another Wolf. Its amber eyes glowing along with it's fur in the moonlight. It howled and 5 more wolves raised. Thinking their friend was going to get attacked, the grim came out and started to growl and the stag stood next to the werewolf in a protective stance. The white wolf in charge howled again and the 6 wolves ran away father into the forbidden Forest.

Remus groaned when he woke up. Clothes were thrown at him, waking him up instantly. He looked around and found his best mates in her human forms. "Morning moony." James said, smiling. Remus put in the clothes quickly. "What time is it?" "Around 8-ish. And man did we have a run in." Sirius said, but Remus thought the worse. "Did moony hurt you guys?!" "No! no no no no no no no no no no." They said quickly. "Remus your not the only wolf out here!" Peter said. Remus looked at him confused. He thought about last night and found out he remembers wolf-ish figures. "Remus buddy are you okay?" Sirius asked, noticing his confused thinking face. "I think I remember something from last night. It's not clear but I saw a white wolf." Remus muttered out load. The other three were shocked Remus couldn't remember anything about what happened on full moons. "Come on we need to get back before minny freaks out." Sirius said. The four men walked back from the woods and back to the halls of Hogwarts.

Walking in the halls, Remus senses were still on high alert. The rest of his friends could tell he needed to be alone so he was walking around alone. He was going to ask professor Dumbeldore if there were other wolves at Hogwarts. He was pulled into a dark classroom. "Hey! Let go!" He yelled and tried to get free. "Lumos." A muscular voice said. The room lit up and Remus saw 6 people. Four were girls and two were guys. Two of the girls were in Ravenclaw, another girl and one of the guys were in Hufflepuff, the last girl was in Gryffindor and the last guy were in Slytherin. "Who are you?" He asked trying to get out of the Ravenclaw girl's grip. For someone a good inch smaller then him, she sure was strong. "We know your a wolf." The Gryffindor guy said. Remus froze, and started panicking. How did they find out?! Would they rat him out to the ministry and have him killed?! "Great job idiot you made him worry." The Gryffindor girl said. "Don't worry. We are werewolves too." The Hufflepuff girl stated with a soft smile. "W-what?" Remus asked. The Ravenclaw that was holding him let go. "I'm Jennifer" the Ravenclaw girl said, the one that wasn't holding him. "That's Crystal and Paul" Jennifer said pointing to the Hufflepuffs. "Jeremy" the Slytherin guy. "and Stephanie" they Gryffindor girl. Remus stared at the last girl. "This is our alpha, Valerie."

And this is how Remus found his pack.

my toxic trait is that my favourite chapters of atyd are the war and post-war chapters. i’m a serial rereader, so i’ve read all of atyd twice, but ive read the war/post-war chapters at least twice more on top of that.

"What are you planning on doing after Hogwarts?"

Peter thought back to 3rd year, when he decided he'd be a lead singer in a band. no matter how many famous or how many gigs she got. he'd do it. and they always could find a job in a corner shop or something to make enough money to survive.

That's what ze was going to do. She promised himself. Music. No matter what happened. He'd be a singer.

"Mr Pettigrew?" McGonagall repeated.

He looked up at her, "I'm going to join the order and fight in the war."

McGonagall took out a tin of biscuits and opened it, "Have a biscuit, Mr Pettigrew."

Peter took one, snapping it in two between their fingers before slowly chewing one piece.

"My meetings with your roommates went a similar way. All of you seem to insist on fighting in the war. Was this a group decision?"

Peter thought back to last week, when McGonagall told them the times of their meetings. And Sirius had since nonstopped talking about how they'd all live together and fight together.

Peter didn't want to. But there was a war happening and she was a gryffindor and a marauder. He was good. And brave. And individual dreams mattered less than the greater good. Everything was for the greater good.

"We all decided on it. We want to help."

"It's dangerous", she warned.

"Does that matter?"

McGonagall sighed, "And what would be your backup; if there wasn't a war, what would you be telling me you want to do?"

Music. Singing. Rock n roll.

Peter finished his biscuit, "That's a pointless question. It doesn't matter anymore."
